Horrible App. This app is awful!!! 😡 I thought I only needed one device and I needed two devices.

Pretty good.... I like it, it does what it says it should, and I have also used it as a temporary security cam

Lies. You said it worked with ALL devices in your description. That's why I bought iMotion HD!

Righteous Remote. This is a great app. I have chicks in an incubator which have begun to hatch. With this app and the iMotion app a I am able to use my iPhone 4 as a "security camera" and my iPad as the monitor. I can be in another spot in the house and keep an eye on the hatching progress. Very nicely done. Works great.

Flipping Fantastic!. This app makes the stop motion making process so much smoother. No need to touch the iPad and no shifting the camera!

Would be handy to start timelapse recordings, too. It's a great idea to use the Watch as a remote trigger, but (as far as I can tell) it only works to shoot individual frames of a stop-motion animation. I'd like to be able to use it to frame, start, and stop timelapse movies too. That way I'd avoid jostling the phone when tapping the screen and it'd be easier to record with the phone brightness turned down to save battery life.

Excellent!. Excellent! This is a very stable app with almost no flaws. I used an iPhone 5, iPhone 4, and iPad original with no problems. An viewable onion skin feature on the remote device would make this perfect.

Works. Works

Useless. I have a 4th gen iPod touch (which you say is covered) and an iPhone 5c. Even if I swap back and forth with the two trying to get one or the other to work, nothing happens. This is crap and your app is useless. If you intend to have people purchase or use this app, make sure it does "what it says on the side of the box"

Not working. It won’t connect. It just says it’s connecting but never does. Both phones are on the same network. Also, the regular iMotion app, when horizontal, is 4K the only choice? I can’t get it to change.

Please add. Please add onion skin view And grid on iremote and this would help a lot.

Good. How do u add voice

Won't quit. Works fairly well if you start it before the iMotionHD app. But this app won't quit. I have to restart the iPad to regain use of it.

Freezes Loading. I was really looking forward to not having to spend three frickin' bucks for a half decent stopmotion animation application, or at least one that actually runs. Update this or the ratings gonna go down to one star. I would give it zero if I could. Big waste of my time.

no connect. ipad1 and iphone5. no connect.

Huh. First of all, this is a remote control. This doesn't, actually record. Second of all, this is a remote for an app on the same device. What's the point?

Mac?. You guys should make an I motion remote for the Macintosh

worked on first generation iPad after I restarted my iPad. When I initially downloaded the app and followed all the directions, I could not get it to work. However, after doing a hard power-down and restart, the iMotion Remote worked just fine and was able to connect and control my iPhone 4. Eagerly awaiting more detailed screenshots with info about what exactly I get should I choose to upgrade to the premium version of the iMotion HD

Works well. Saves a lot of time. Add onion skin and it would be even more useful.

Remote Doesn't Work. With iOS 5 and a iPhone 4+4S combination the two iMotion apps would not talk after downloading. There needs to be a review of this software.

Fantastic idea, but unreliable.. I'm currently in the works of a stop motion video and this app continues to disconnect and fails to reconnect. It is very frustrating especially because I am using newer devices to make my video. When the app actually works it is a very important part of my stop motion animations, but it has greatly slowed down the process of animating. Please fix this issue.

Agree with others.... I wish you guys made a remote app for the Mac.

VERY COOL. When i go to view other peoples works, it does not let me see them. Other than that it is brilliant, a must have

Works great!. Used this on iPad with the companion app on my iPhone 4. Love it!

Doesn't connect. Doesn't connect

Sounds cool but doesn't work for me. Have an iPad (1st gen, no camera) & an iPhone 4S & the remote does not connect. I'm using the same network which I know works because I use both my IPad & iPhone as a iTunes remote. I even paid for the upgrade on my iphone for imotion think that may help but nada. Please Help.

Excellent, but. Works as advertised perfectly. Could use a "set remote timer" feature.

Works great. Great idea to go along with the other app.

Good but. Really needs onion skinning to be of real use

Abandoned. This app does not seem to work any more - looks like the developer has abandoned it, as not updated in 5 years!

Good But Remote Needs Bluetooth. The remote app needs bluetooth so that it can be used in areas without wifi

Awsome. Awesome app

One important question. If my iPhone 5 and iPad 3 is not finding a wifi connection . My home wifi is working perfectly. What next when there is no sign of your app in systems wifi!!!!!!!

Horrible App. This app is so bad and doesn't even work. I am using my iPad to take the stop motion pictures but when I use my iPod in iMotion Remote, it freezes and it crashes and doesn't even work even though I put it in Remoted. This is the worst app ever so please update it and fix it NOW!

Works, but limited. Works fine, but is lacking features from the full app. Please add onion skinning, grid and frame number. In the main app you see how many frames have been taken so you can make sure you took the shot, in the remote app there is no confirmation that you've taken it.

Epic.. I really don't think people get it. You need two devices with the iMotion app, one with the studio and the other with this, and you can tap the screen of the one with the remote and it will take a picture with the other one. I applaud, creators, keep up the good work! (Don't let the people who don't pay attention get to you!)

Okay. It's okay in the start it was fine but now it needs a update. There are some bug fixes that are needed. Like the connection to two different devices and optimize it for iPhone/iPod 5.

Functional... Could be Improved.. I've been using iMotion for a few years now and have thoroughly enjoyed it. (Especially because it works on older iDevices). That said, when I added another iPhone recently, I thought I'd try the iMotion Remote on the new iPhone to trigger iMotion on the old iPhone. I did like the fact that I could see the screen of the camera taking the photos and taking single photos was simple with the screen-tap function. I'd hoped to be able to set the recording iPhone up and then trigger a "session" but this remote doesn't do that. At least not yet. 1. For things like stop-animation it's probably great... Even just as a remote trigger for things Iike group shots, awesome. Basically any scenario where you want the camera to be stationary. 2. Number 1 is also where the problem lies, there are some instances where you may want to set up the camera for a time-lapse session but not want to touch the recording camera once it's set up. 3. My suggestion would be to turn it into a more fully functioning remote: A. Add the ability to set all the time-lapse functions remotely. (other than resolution which is automatically set depending on iPhone orientation) B. Add the ability to trigger a pre-set time lapse session. C. Add the ability to remotely change how the photos are taken (single, mic, etc.) This one may not be needed as much... D. Push notification to the remote if the iDevice taking the photos is running out of space/app crashes etc. There are probably other things but A, B, C and D are what immediately come to mind. 1st Star... Found the recording iPhone quickly, when the iMotion App was set to remote. 2nd Star... I could see what my other iPhone saw. 3rd Star... Taking single photos remotely was simple. 4th Star... future update ? 5th Star... To the right and... No.. Wait... That's something else.

Pathetic!. 0 stars. Laaaaaaaaaammme!!!!!! Worst app ever!

This is a support app. I don't think people realize this app is meant to be used in conjunction with its I motion counterpart. I don't have a very sturdy tripod when my iPad is on it so I don't like to wobble the camera by touching it. When used properly I can use this app like a remote control and tap my iPod to take the pic with my iPad. It's a brilliant idea and works great. I even get a little window on my iPod to see what my iPad sees without having to get up and move off set. This app is not meant to be on the device taking a picture, it's meant to be on the device your using as the remote.
