Truly The Best. As others have said, nothing tops this app… I would gladly pay a subscription… and I don’t understand why such a fantastic app seems to have no more support from its developer. I use Awesome Note and sync with Evernote so that I won’t lose my info when this app disappears. Until that time, I keep looking for a reasonable substitute. Can’t find one.

Could be amazing.... This app would be my all-in-one if I could use my Apple Pencil to write and annotate notes. I am actually surprised that that capability has not yet been made for this app. I hate having to use different apps because none of the, have one or two things that would make it an exclusive use for me. I love everything else about the app, it’s just a shame you haven’t given the users that ability.

Change color on the calendar. Love the app but the only thing I can’t figure out how to change the color on the calendar. I like color coordinated my events and appointments. If anyone knows please let me know. Thanks

Only one thing missing. I have been using awesome note for 10 years, I wish the would add the apple pen for calendar to be able to hand write on the day of the month like the new planners coming out. Please ad this feature!

So far the best. I’ve had this app for 10 years now, first on my old iPhone, now on my iPad. I didn’t use it much on the phone, because it was so small, hard for me to see. Now however, I bought the one for iPad and I use it almost daily, to save recipes, patterns, articles. I even like the drawing part of the app. It’s so easy, no fancy high end complications, draw and save to your photos, so easy. I never use my old drawing app anymore, too much trouble. Keep it simple please. I forgot to add, one improvement I’d like very much to see, is the ability to copy and paste a photo to the drawing board so you could draw on it in the app.

My favorite note app in terms of organization and layout. ...but when you hand-write text with a stylus the ink looks pixelated before sharpening, which causes slight input lag, which in turn makes your handwriting look worse. Sorry to say that the ink on this app looks worse than most other note apps I’ve tried. Please fix

Still the best notes app. I’ve just gone through the process of setting up One Note. I love that it synchs across all of my devices - ios, Mac, and PC. But, well, the interface is just meh … I keep coming back to aNotes. It limits me to iPad and iPhone, but the user experience - the look, feel, and functionality - is very satisfying. And this is for an app that was essentially wrapped up a few years ago. So for work and such I use One Note, but for person use, I still prefer aNotes.

Keeps me on track. Awesome Notes is wonderful. I can maintain my to-do lists, take work notes, and keep an eyeon my schedule all in one place. It’s very user friendly and visually aesthetic as well. I took one star off because I have a minor app suggestion. It’d be great when using bullet points, if the next lines kept with the indentation of the bullet.

AAAAAAmazing Note. I’ve used this app, in conjunction with the app for iPhone, for years now, and I can tell you, it just keeps getting better & better! I use iCloud to sync my notes, calendars, etc... & it’s absolutely seamless, not to mention after the recent updates, whatever info I choose is now automatically backed up! There are too many features to name, but I am particularly fond of the many ways possible to “personalize” Notes & Calendars with colors, fonts, backgrounds, folders, etc... Adding pictures and even map locations & the weather forecast, is so simple. This definitely is the Go-To planner I was looking for!

Developers out of business. This app has crashed and can’t be restored. ItDefaults to a password that doesn’t exist. All my data from years and years has been lost. Be very very careful with this application. If there is anyway you can export or offload your data do it immediately before you lose everything!

It keeps crashing. I paid for this app and thinking that it was an good app for calendar’s and notes and all that it says it’s for…but every time I get to try an delete something it’s keeps crashing on me when I’m pressing the delete button are trying to make an appointment for something else and when I be trying to do voice recording I do~not like this app I want my money back thank you. what’s use of using something that you can not use because it’s keeping on crashing so please refund me my money back.

Everything. This app is everything. I love it so much, I don't know how to describe it! I keep thoughts and schedules and notes in it. It's visually pleasing and has so many features. Thank you so much for developing this!

Super App. I’ve been using Awesome Notes for 6 months now and love it! It’s very user friendly. I had it up running and figured out in just a few minutes. use! When my husband was told he had stage 4 cancer. I was so over whelmed with doctors, tests, hospitals, chemo and information to keep track of that I found I swimming in paper notes. That’s when I got awesome notes. This app made my life organized and provided me with an detailed documented record of my husbands medical journey so far with cancer. I would have lost my mind without it. There’s one suggestion I’d like to see happen with Awesome Notes in the near future.................I’d love even more if I had it on my Mac too!!! 😁

PERFECT. I literally was in the process of making a review on the iPhone app to say it needs an iPad version and then I found this! I love this app and have been using it for years!

To me the better Note App you can get, but lack ofupdates. I love this app; I dont believe that you will find another note app with a more simplistic way to organize the notes; the folder view is the crucial feature, plus the way it allows the user to create backup files. I wish the developer find ways to keep promoting this app to become popular again (for the lack of updates, it seems to me that this app is no longer a priority for the developer)

Devs if you’re reading this…. Please update Awesome Note! I’ve been using this app as my diary for over a literal decade now and I’m devastated that it appears it has been left to eventually become obsolete due to iOS incompatibility. I have backups of the contents on my cloud of course, but that’s not the same as the homely feel of the app’s interface with its customized folders and colorful backgrounds.

I’m hoping for improvements. I’ve really loved AwesomeNote and have been using it for many many years on my iPhone. Back when we were able to back up with google drive, and it’s kind of sad that’s not available anymore. I have recently upgraded to iPad Pro, and decided to purchase the AwesomeNote 2 to work across platforms from iPhone to iPad Pro; however. I’m very disappointed to find the app crashes on me every time I work on a longer note. Always mid session, and I would have lost all my notes. I’m very disappointed that this has happened consistently. I really wish that you would work on an update that would fix the crashing issue. Also, on a side note, it would be even more awesome that we can incorporate Apple Pencil into the note taking experience on AwesomeNote. I really enjoyed all the calendar, cute backgrounds, fonts and moods that the AwesomeNote offer, and is very sad that it’s not working properly. I am now forced to look for other options to fill my note taking needs because AwesomeNote had crashed on me too many times

Still my No. 1 most used. Every year I write a new review for Awesome Note 2 for iPad. It is my most used app, and if you’re visual and like organization galore (like me), you’ll love this app. I’ve been using it for years. I use it for both business & personal uses. I especially appreciate the fact that the reminders and calendar are tied into the stock Apple apps that come w/the iPad. I use all three, but Awesome Notes combines them so I can see at a glance ALL of my activities. I have so many notes in various custom, color-coded folders that I plan to keep using this app for a very long time.

Ppl say “this” and “that” are the best note Apps. I beg to differ. I’ve read a lot of ppl claiming that other apps are the best note taking apps. But Awesome Note has the rest beaten by a clear margin. The organizational features and aesthetics are entirely unmatched. The app’s writing layout, look & feel are also absolutely unparalleled. And all of those positive points are just to say the least! Honestly I could go on forever about the glorious attention to detail this developer has perfectly implemented with the redevelopment of this program. I’ve not only put it through it’s paces tremendously, but I’ve also come to rely on just this app for all my writing. PERIOD! Best Note Taking Application I’ve ever used on a mobile device. Well done. Well done.

Underrated note taking app. I’ve been using this for years and it is amazing. It’s a slightly more sophisticated note taking app compared to the notes that comes in apple products. It has calendar and todo list, diaries, can set password. And doesn’t charge monthly, one time fee for amazing product.

Love this app. Update: 2/8/18 - I still use this all the time. Among other things, I track the books I own and read, which is many! Lately, it has been freezing on me quite a bit. I hope they fix this quickly. I really like all the colors now available for the text, along with various sizes available for the text. I use both extensively. Update: I have changed my review from 5 stars to 4 stars, would probably go to 3 1/2 if I could. I have had this app for a long time. I use it for many different things. As the app has been updated, most of the editing tools have been removed, which really annoys me. I used the editing tools regularly. I have been looking for an app to journal, track medical information, keep track of books I own/have read and keep misc notes. I finally found this app and I love it. I would like more icons, more backgrounds, and colors for text. But those are all just for fun, do not affect functionality of app.

Upgrading to 5 stars. I have been using this app for a month or so after leaving it for about 2 years. Everything seems to be good again. Syn is good with No Problems. Seems to work fine with iOS 11 update. Nice App. 😍.

Love this app. I’m not one who writes a lot of reviews….I’ve had this app for years now. I truly enjoyed the many features of it. My primary use is for the diary. It lets me keep a password protected diary that I use most mornings as I have my coffee. Just wanted to tell the developer that I truly enjoy this app.

A Decade of Great Use. Been using Awesome Note since December 2010. Still my goto app for keeping notes. I have yet to find an equivalent note repository app.

I love this app - use everyday. This app is awesome. I use everyday and it definitely helps me get organized with work, personal, home tasks. I would give 5 stars but I am waiting for an update where you can add word documents, etc and the backgrounds are more refined (updated). I do not think there has been an update in more than 2 years.

Soooooo Sad. It will initially upload your info to iCloud and just a few hours later it will begin to replace your folders with folders that have the same name but all info has been deleted. You may go months before it does this. It will take one folder, put all of the content in another, then delete it, all on it’s own, all in one day. It will start with just a few folders but will continue to do this in the course of 8hrs or over months, till you no longer have info and all folders are blank. It will then begin to add duplicates of those folders until you no longer even recognize your notes any more. You literally could begin the day with a nice collection of info only, to wake up the next with no info or info misplaced. You would think they’d fix this after all these years, but right now the update last, was over a year ago. When the app is syncing on the iPhone, the notifications are in English. But the sync on the iPad(notifications of progress) is in Chinese, which makes me wonder if the system has been hacked

Syncing is All Messed Up!. I've tried syncing the iPad with my iPhone a few times and it's not syncing correctly! What I've updated on my iPad won't properly copy pn the iPhone but it transfers the deleted folders from the iPhone to the iPad!!! Frustrating and basically rendering this app useless if it can't sync my notes & information. Please fix, as I love other aspects of this app.

Text Editing STINKS. My entire negative review can be summed up by saying the developer does not know how to make bullet points work. There appears to be no knowledge of how an outline works which makes taking organized notes (a fairly common use for a notes application) impossible without manually tabbing every time an indent is required. Since this is perhaps the most basic function in all known word processing applications, I find using the app to be impossible and annoying to deal with. I baled-out for Notability which does everything perfectly.

This App is a Sleeper…!. I’ve tried many, many other organizing, to do and planner apps over the years. First impressions here was that it seemed too simplistic. After revisiting it, it’s not! IMO, it deserves 5*! It took several looks over a week to recognize that this App has it all! In addition, it’s colorful, easy to use and adaptable. That’s why I tended to pass it over on first blush to try the popular 5* Apps. They are good, and detail oriented. So is this one, except that it’s ‘New Age,’ likely an example of where ease-of-use stying and structure is headed. if you made the same mistake as me, try it again, this time in a relaxed state. Play with it and put it through the paces. I’ll bet that many people will have have an ‘ah ha’ moment! Then, use it for a couple of weeks before you spend top dollar… . 👍🏼

I’ll pay subscription. I use it every single day. Keeps my life and work days organized Please update. I’ll happily pay a monthly or yearly subscription. Don’t abandon us

Love it.. It's not perfect. There are glitches that keep popping up. However, the fact that it synchs with Evernote AND that I have the option to make a complete backup file makes this a winner for me. I have been using this for years. Granted, I keep looking for something better. I just have not found it.

Confusing to use. The app is quite good at keeping track of what you’ve done in the past but it sets all of the items on the calendar for the day you created the list, not when it should be done. The rest of the app interface is complicated to use and you can’t toggle easily through various lists. It becomes quite complicated if you want to have it organized and look nice, chances are this app will frustrate you more with the formatting than helping you organize your life

Incredibly Useful App. I retired at the end of December after four decades in the military, private sector and government. My last assignment was managing a large organization with an extraordinarily dynamic mission. I relied on Awesome Note as my management platform of choice. It is incredibly stable, versatile, and adaptable. Best app choice and investment I ever made. Now it’s going to see me through retirement, too!

Awesome Note is simply AWESOME. I’ve been using this app for about 7 years now. It is one of my most used apps. I purchased back in 2011 because I wanted an app for journaling. But this app has proved to be sooo much more. It is an all-in-one productivity resource that I access many times every day! It has completely replaced several different apps I used to use to track my calendar events, to do lists, create weekly menus, keep records with photos of my home inventory, keep track of my yearly garden progress for comparison, journal and more! The only thing I would wish for from the developer is to PLEASE add a feature that allows me to insert video. Adding photos and drawings is a great feature but the ability to add video is desperately needed.

Still the best in 2021. I’ve been using this app for the last 7 or so years and it’s been a great way to access my Evernote data (it syncs with Evernote or iCloud). What’s great is this allows you to create offline copies of your notes, and they have very handy organizational features. I notice the last update was 2 years ago, for iOS 12. I do hope the developer continues to update the app, and if there comes a time that an AwesomeNote 3 or something needs to be published and I have to re-buy, I most certainly will. This app is THAT good.

Good, but could be better. Mostly good, but there are some things I think that could be better. Background options for notes is one area that needs updating as some are hard to read and overall there could be a few more to choose from. Alternatively an even better idea is to give us a background option that lets us use an image from our gallery. Another thing is to get rid of the extended keyboard section (the part that features arrows, bold, italics, etc in gold text). The iPads keyboard already gives us those options. It’s a minor issue, but it frees up screen space. Edit: The selection doesn’t seem to work properly. I’ve only noticed this problem after updating to iPadOS (iOS 13) so maybe the app needs to be updated to work properly.

Great app... lacks one thing. This is the best app I have used, with one glaring exception. No way to save documents within a note. I still use OneNote because of this problem, but will switch entirely to Awesome Note if they ever install this feature. One other suggestion: When I add a ToDo within a note in a folder, I wish the note would stay as it is and send a copy of the ToDo to the ToDo folder. Seems simple!

Love and Hate relationship..... A very capable and enjoyable app to use ...... However, to not be able to just select a note with all its data/content/images/links....etc and save it as a PDF from within the menu is mind boggling. With today's unending use of PDFs it makes this app fall way behind ..... been using this from the birth of this app and had to move away because of that ONE LACKING FEATURE. I know there's a way of transferring to another app to do it but now it becomes to cumbersome.

Password reset does not work since many years!!!. One of Awesome Note’s features is a passport-protected folders. I have forgotten the password and the app offers me to reset my password using an email I had specified in the app. However, I never receive the reset email, and it is not in the spam folder. What is worse is that no backup nor synchronization is possible without the forgotten password. I have contacted you many times without a reply. And this has been going on for YEARS NOW!!! If the app is not able to do such basic task, then it lacks the most basic standards of reliability and a miserable customer service. Admit to the customers that you are unable to solve this problem instead of making them delete and reinstall the app, hence losing all the data. Fix this, or give the customers their money back and compensate them for the data they lost.

Not updated. This app hasn’t been updated for the most recent iOS update, resulting in poor performance. The app has been doing strange things since that time, and I’ve experienced the loss of recently entered data, and of notes being relocated by the app, somehow, to a different folder than I had them in. I did like this app a lot but, until it is updated, I can not recommend it to anyone.

Best Notes App. Seriously this is one of the best note apps I've used, although I use some other apps. It's beautiful, organized, and so easy to use. I'm really glad that I got it :) But the bad thing is that This version isn't available on the phone, so I have to buy it again for the phone, but it's still a great app!

Perfect Organization. Over the past decade I have, at one time or another, used almost every journal app, usually paired with different calendar and to-do apps to keep track of life. All of those configurations had hurdles of varying difficulty to overcome. Awesome Note was a fairly early contender, and over the years (and upgrades) has become, for me, the perfect “life organizer”.

Fun to use. So far, I am really enjoying this app. I have tried so many that are similar, but this one seems to be the simplest and most enjoyable. The colors make it uplifting to use. Only had it a short time, but so far it works very well. Con't....this app works the way the mind thinks. Well thought out. Smooth functioning. Con't.... Have used this now for a while and it's the one that I tend to choose over others. Continued... It's been awhile now and I have continued to look for the best app to organize everything. This app seems to cover everything in a simple way. This is the one I keep coming back to use. Evernote, Bento, etc are good, but this one is great! Continued 2018... Still one of the best apps to organize everything. Been using it for many years. One of the few I have stayed with consistently.

Perfect. I had a major “oops” moment. I have important files saved on here and never did a backup, and didn’t have the info saved anywhere else. I thought I had lost everything, but went ahead and paid for the iPad version and gave it a try. My panic went from relief as I watched each file appear one by one that I thought I had lost, thanks to the folders being set as default to sync. I don’t know what I would’ve done without this.

Can’t Make a New Folder. I’ve had this app on my old iPad for a long time. Bought an iPad Pro 12.9 and it transferred to it. Had to replace it after a few years and Tuesday I bought a new IPad Pro 12.9. Absolutely loved it till today… I bought a new iPad and it did not transfer in the set up. I downloaded the app again, and I’ve tried every way possible to make a new folder. Cannot do it. Case in point.. in order to make a folder with the title of one on my phone I had to use one of the existing folders and changed it to what I needed.. Filled it with the info and when I opened the folder there was nothing there. I also have it on my iPhone and thought it would sync wlith the iPad when I set it up..Didn’t happen. I have many folders on my phone but can’t always use them as I’m on the iPad most of the time.. I use this app for so many thing and iI am truly disappointed in it. If you can walk me thru the set up I would appreciate it.

Perfect app but please update. this awesomenote is awesome and perfect. Perfect for diary, perfect for collecting ideas, perfect for every notes, perfect for my iPad Pro with smart keyboard. I don’t need it to be synced to other places, so it is worked so fine on my iPad. But the latest update was 1 years ago. please update it. Keep it to the latest , fresh! I am so afraid of losing this app.

Great tool!. I use it everyday for work and personal tasks and notes. There are a few bugs that could use some attention but overall, I wish that the developer would keep updating and improving the app.

No longer syncing and no support. I have loved this app and used it on 2 devices for a number of years. Now it will not sync between my phone and ipad. I back up to iCloud and it no longer works. Seems Google Drive is no longer an option and when I tried to do it with Evernote, everything became a mess. I tried to contact the creators and the link to the website does not work. Then I see that the last update was a year ago........sorry guys, I am looking elsewhere. Too bad too because I have so many hours of notes. Grrrrr

Stopped syncing with Evernote!. I've used the app on my iphone and ipad for a long time and it's been great until recently when the ipad version of the app stopped working with Evernote. The Sync somehow has been turned off, of course not by me, and every time I try to turn it back on I get " could not connect to server." I keep my notes in sync on my devices and really need this feature to work. I would really appreciate it if you fixed the issue as soon as possible.

I REALLY like this app.. I have used this app for a few years now and have never seen another as user friendly, pleasing to the eye, fun to work with or as organized. It keeps everything I use together. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Awesome!. I love this app so does my children and family. I helps us a lot in traveling which we did a lot in Vietnam and the year before. We wrote plenty of things in there. It would be great if you would upgrade the app again. I love it and hope for more. Just one more thing.... AWESOME APP! 👏👏👏😊👏👏👏😊👏👏👏😊👏

False Advertising. No longer syncs with Google Drive despite what their own website states, this seems to be a very recent development. Slightly less functional than OneNote but has far more customization options and shows when your notes were created in the in-built calendar (which syncs to google calendar despite the notes not syncing to google drive) a great feature. Unless you're attaching .pdf files to your notes, it'll work just as well as the best of the note taking apps with adding cool looks. If it synced to google I would have given it 5 stars as that was the main reason i bought it.

Good app and need more business oriented features. Great UI, multiple calendars integration and Evernote integration. My wish list are: 1. Business meeting minutes (template, ability to add company logo and send via email) 2. LinkedIn integration to get more details on meeting attendees 3. More cloud drive integration so files can be added from Box, Dropbox

What's gone wrong???. Why has the best note app gone so downhill? Has no one ever heard of "when you're on a good thing - stick to it"?????? So disappointed with update I could cry. All my business and personal notes/memories all over the place. If you can no longer open each folder in calendar then what's the point of the calendar and the separate folders. May as well just use a calendar app. Why do people try so hard to improve something that doesn't need improving? Now the search is on for another note app that will at least make sense.

Consistent Error, Developers gone, DO NOT DOWNLOAD. I have used this app for years and since updating recently to a new iPad I have an error that pops up every time I try and use it. “Error The client provided is not authorized to access the request”. I have tried contacting the developers via FB and have had no reply. The Brid webpage is dead, so I think this app will follow soon. This app has not been updated since 2018. Am now looking for a new diary app, disappointed.

Just what I was looking for. I have been searching everywhere for an app, or something that I can use to keep me organized at work and home with all my projects... This wins the prize... Love the syncing with google docs, folders, to-dos etc... Would be good to see sub-folders added... And the ability to move notes from one folder to another...

Syncing is the issue. I've been using this for a long time now and I think it's great. But with iPad, iPad mini and iPhone, trying to keep the syncing up to date is a nightmare. Desperately in need of iCloud sync. Manually syncing via google just doesn't cut it anymore. Unfortunately I'm now on the hunt for the next best app in this category that does support iCloud.

Great app but with some cautions. Out of all the notes applications I have tried, Awesome note is by far the best for usability. However, this has been soured a bit by loss of integrity during the synch to Google Drive. Over the course of my use of the tool it has periodically lost critical data during a synch. Hours and hours of work has vanished, and being purely text based its often difficult to determine what did not synch and what did when u discover the loss. I now find myself emailing my note to myself as a backup but this is not sustainable and I am now in the process of once again working through a long list of notes applications to find a replacement.

Not For Me. silly icons - worse than before; page backgrounds too busy & detract from the text; too few fonts - a basic, boring selection; no text formatting - no dot points & no text indenting, no bold, italic or underline (so not very good as a study tool, etc.) Apart from that, it's prettier than the previous iteration- just not as good!

Best I Have tried. I have tried most of the diary type apps, and have been looking for one with good exporting/ backup. This one is fantastic backing up to google docs. I also like the one button sync so that my phone and iPad have up to date entries. Well worth the money.

Use it every day. This is ideal for my needs, as I like having meeting notes, shopping lists, etc all in one space. Easy layout, has the features I want without too much fanciness. I use it a lot, and several other productivity/note-taking apps now sit unused on my iPad because this does the job.

Almost perfect. This is an almost perfect app. Only four stars because of two glaring omissions. It does NOT sync with iCloud and, most importantly, it does NOT sync with iCal. I was an avid user of 2Do and Momento but this app, since it handles to-dos and has a diary feature, will now become my primary app. The fact that it syncs flawlessly with Evernote is a huge bonus since I use Evernote across my Mac, PC and other devices. The ability to import birthdays and to-dos from iCal would make this a killer app. I certainly will not be re-entering this data into this app. The developers need to include this feature in a future update. 2Do does this very well. Suggestions: 1. Share the same tags as Evernote. Currently, tags created in the app do not appear in Evernote and vice versa. 2. Allow the user to insert a time stamp in a note that is edited at different times of the same day. 3. Create a to-do as a check list. 4. Import birthdays from iCal. 5. Add voice notes. I love this app and I hope that the develops continue to improve it. From what I understand, the iPhone version is a separate purchase but I'll wait until the iCal syncing is introduced before purchasing.

aNote is Amazing. I use aNote daily to keep my work and personal to-do lists, notes from meetings, restaurant reviews, travel diaries, meeting notes, for anything. I love the colorful, flexible folders and ease of use. Every version gets better, the calendar integration feature shows all todo lists in order. I love the calendar display and ability to do lists. Export feature is also very handy. I'd like to see some templates for notes in the future versions; also handwriting would make it even more amazing. Great job aNote team.

Love it...but better backup needed. Backup to Evernote is just not adequate, my recipe book is larger than the 60gb Evernote limit, so no backup anymore. You haven't bothered to update this app for ages (July 2014) so feels like you have lost interest after you took our money (for both iPhone and iPad app). Now it doesn't seem to multitask, each time I leave, the app has to update all over again when I come back and thus quite a delay, so it actually doesn't multi task. Come on, time for an update to your loyal customers...and you just might get a lot more app sales and $ in your bank.

Please fix the bugs.. Hi, I love this app. I use it to write and it's basically my life and impending career in an app. Recently after I updated it, it has started to not save my writing. I would write something and it would just jump back to the unedited version. It is quite annoying as I have to rewrite it and sometimes I don't realize it until days and by then, I would forget what I had written. Also, I can't scroll down the pages without it jumping back to the top. Please fix it, I don't know what I'd do without this app.

I LOVE this App!. To the person who wrote a review saying who wants to mess around with silly things like colours? The answer is me! i.e a visual person and a visual learner, as are a lot of Mac users. I love this app as I can instantly see all my stuff and keep my creative brain and business organised!!! I've only been using it for a few days but I'd be lost without it. I haven't encountered any problems so far, and I never write reviews of apps so this is saying something that I would do so- I wasn't even invited to. Easy to figure out, easy to use, easy to customise and so very visual! Thank you Awesome Note the name says it all.

Great app. Love this app, use it constantly... For an update in the future could we get the option to use bold, italic, underline when creating new documents? Also paragraph editing- left side, right side, centre and justify paragraph alignment would make this app unbeatable...

Not what I wanted but I am compelled to use it. I spent over $30 downloading other notepad apps and this is the clear winner for me. I love the layout and colours - tasks, etc and it syncs beautifully with Evernote. I have computers around the house so if iPad is downstairs I can add a note in Evernote on my desktop and it appears in here. My wish list is for more stationery types. The ability to use a stylus to hand write notes. I'll get around this by inserting a picture but wish I could have notepad paper as a default for hand written notes. I would be happy to buy more as inapp purchases I really wanted a stylus app which is why I said its not what I wanted but it's so beautiful and customisable it's my first choice. Over all - well done. I only wish I'd found this first and saved myself some money.

One of My Favorite Apps. I am loving this app. I have downloaded a lot of diaries, note takers, organisers, schedulers and so on, but this is my favourite and one that I use each day. The features are truly 'awesome'. It is well worth the money. Got my friend to try out the Lite version and she eventually upgraded.

You can't sync anything with iCloud!. This used to work until Google Drive was cut and I had to resort to iCloud. iCloud doesn't sync, it just copies everything everywhere. If you delete anything it waits until you re-open the app and copies it back. If you edit anything it copies the edited version everywhere and then copies the unedited version back again, so you have both versions everywhere. I can't get rid of all the duplicates that iCloud has forced on me and won't let me get rid of. Worse, iCloud has irrevocably changed the format of many notes and changed long lists in text files into check lists, one item per line. The app is now totally screwed for me. I now have a huge task of trying to extract anything useful from the stuff I need to keep. Once I've managed that I will be deleting the app from everywhere I have it. One good point - you can choose to use Google Maps instead of apple maps, which is utterly useless in Australia.

This has been updated. Love it !. I have held onto this app, but lost interest in it when it became more trouble than it was worth. NOW, IT’S THE BEST ! I don’t know when everything was fixed, and I’m still learning how to use it again, but it does just about everything I need except import flagged emails that need to be actioned at some point. It effectively reminded me to do something, the first time an app has done this for me in a while. The calendar section is well set out. Moving information around is easy and it works with Evernote.

Awesome note is Awesome. For those who haven't seen awesome note yet, it is the best note taking, to-do list, organisational tool around. I have replaced all my yellow sticky notes, callender and diary entries, shopping lists and jotted thought notes into this one compact tool. Truly the Star Trek digital age is here. There is no need to chop down trees for paper any more. For the developers, well done, and a few suggestions for future updates; 1/ I know you are working on iPhone and IPad direct syncronisation. It is eagerly awaited. 2/ More Note backgrounds and folder icons would be apreciated. 3/ Ability to use personal photoes as note back grounds would be awesome (excuse the pun) 4/ Ability to underline or highlight words would be usefull. Thanks.

Awesome it is!,. I have used Evernote as a premium customer for 12 months and it is great for everything I want to keep. This app is the "To-Do list", Diary, Calendar and a lot more that I have been looking for. Like Evernote the layout is clean, yet attractive and functional. It is not difficult to use and syncs with Evernote and/or Google Docs for backup and file transfer. Great job! I can now delete at least 5 other useless, confusing apps that said they could do what this app does. Should have bought this months ago.

Does not fully support iOS 12. Despite the claim that there is full support for iOS 12, that’s not true as there is still no support for split screen on iPads.

Pretty good. Have had this app for couple of years brought it as soon as I got an ipad recently brought the iphone version both work very well are good for notes todo lists and reminders and are great personal organisers my only gripe is the sync through google can be frustrating as I can make a new note or mark a todo as done then on my ipad then check on my phone hours later and find it hasn't been synced or vice versa unless it is synced manually on both devices

Good App, Great Potential.... BUT....... This app his highly polished, well laid out but has a couple of critical shortcomings. First is no integration with iCal. That needs to be fixed for it to be a GREAT app. Second, no iDisk (or iCloud as the follow-on) integration... you have to sync with Google or Evernote. Sort of leave the world of MobileMe customers in the cold. Guys... fix that and you've got a killer app!

Awesome says it all! Worth the cost. I've had the iPhone version of this app since it came out, it is the best catch me all for everyday things you would ever want.. Compared the all the rest it's streets ahead. Like everyone I've been eagerly awaiting the iPad version, and now finally here it doesn't disappoint - worth ever cent *** Well done guys. Do yourself a favour and get this app - you won't be disappointed.

Excellent app 😃👍. Initially thought its a bit expensive but I'm so pleased with the way this app looks & performs its worth it! Its my organizer, note book & diary all in one & now it syncs with calendar too - that made it 5 stars for me! Such a well designed, clever & easy to use app - thank you!

IPhone to IPad - Awesome. Proud user of the IPhone version. When IPad version came out, it was like magic. Awesome Notes has been a great companion and personal assistant and will continue to grow and develop new additions for better productivity. Definitely a must-have for the organised minds out there! Well done Awesome.

FLEXIBILITY...Exactly what i wanted. This app is great, lots of tab options, colors, flexibility to design own way .great stuff initially i was put off by the screen shot but tried the free version and paid for it great time planning tool and inc notes etc That panda pic on the screen shot put me off thinking it was somenother app I have a yearly paid plan to evernote but this is superior to evernote for note taking by far

Seems great.... Been using it only for 15min and initial impressions are great! Will post my experiences in 30 days to see if it has a place in my life. Seems very flexible and easy to customize views. Don't really like the floating screens feature as it serves not functional purpose and just gets in the way of using it. And perhaps too much different colour and design on the interface makes it look cluttered.

Just deleted this app. After using and like bing this app, the developers have appeared to have given up. Lots of syncing problems and no desktop interface. Have just downloaded and started using Wunderlist. Would highly recommend for all platforms!

Believe it not.. 2. I stand corrected, just found the iPhone version, equally as nice.. Reading other reviews, I've had no issues so far using Evernote sync, but I'll keep a backup of anything essential just in case.. Thanks for the heads-up. Syncing the iPad/iPhone versions is described in the user manual, but needs serious upgrading... The only criticism I'v had to date.. Keep it up guys.

Great app. Shame it isn't being maintained.. This is a good program that is extremely flexible and looks great. There really isn't that much out there which matches it on power and flexibility. The only thing that lets it down is the fact that the develop isn't maintaining it. With minimal upkeep, this app could easily go from a good program to a great program.

Very awkward to sync. After several hours mucking around with syncing, deleting the multiple duplicates that occurred when I had to sync several times, and eventually resorting to Bluetooth transferring every single note separately from my iPhone, finally I'm set up ready to go. It's a beautiful app and the optimization for iPad is excellent - love the extra fonts and addition of tab, bullet points and a few more extras. I didn't look elsewhere because I've Been an avid anote user for 3 years. But for goodness sake, please simplify the transfer of data between devices!! Surely you are aware that people will want to use this app on multiple devices - there has to be a simpler way to keep them all up to date.. Perhaps an auto sync with your other devices every time a new note is created or edited. Prompt first. Or at the very least an easy transfer solution that doesn't take hours to complete and then sort through the multiples and delete all the extra folders. Will be 5 stars when that's fixed for sure!

Love it!👌. I'd say it is one of the best to-do apps ever made (or that I have purchased)! There are so many different designs and colours to choose from and the interface is simple, easy and beautiful. It has a great overview of what you have to do in different categories which is great. I recommend this app to everyone who wants a great organiser:)

I do thoroughly enjoy this App. Whilst I have been enjoying the most simple tasks offered within Awesome Note, especially appointment bookings, accompanied with pre warning alarms, perhaps no where near that of other reviewers; I couple it with Evernote and the backup for me is really helpful. It's even better with Outlook MS(E-mail) added to the toolbar and it all talks to one another and especially me.

App crashes without warning! iOS 16. Please provide an update for latest iOS version 16.2 to prevent random app crash

Great App. All in all, it's a great app that I use with everything. The only down side is that you have to separately for the ipad and the iphone. I bought mine on my ipad but would need to pay for the iphone version for my phone. It can also do with a bit more options as to what it is you are entering. Birthdays, meetings, date with friends maybe .. Etc..

Great app but.... Needs to sync with iCal, have real alarms not just alerts, proper notebook function of levels headings and tag types within each note eg reminder, checkbox, flags, etc. Also needs to be able to keep notes but hide completed instead of deleting. Sometimes as a record needs to be kept for a while instead of deleted but not listed with other to dos or notes. Otherwise extremely polished. Love it. I used circus ponies notebook on the mac and would like some ofbthose kinds of functionalities Especially levels.

Awesome it is!. I am new to iPad 2 and was looking at an organiser. I tried several before I stumbled upon this neat one. It has all the features I needed and much more that I may need. I strongly recommend Awesome notes for those who need several types of organisation methods and people with varied interests apart from just work.

Fantastic Note App. Having downloaded almost every note taking app out there, this one really lives up to it's name ...AWESOME! The categories are excellent, backup to Evernote or Google is great, it is slick and smooth, and works even better than the iPhone version. The clincher for me was the todo function, creating tasks so easily and quickly. This has really denied the ipad for me. Well done on a very very solid app.

Almost a perfect app. App is great and i use it regularly, you can see every one else's comments on how good it is so I won't go into that but instead address what I hope to see in the future versions. 1. Sync with iOS and google calendars 2. Option to auto sync everything (maybe add option to auto sync only when wifi) such that'd new notes are automatically updates on pc and other iOS devices 3. Dropbox and iCloud backup 4. More options with the calendar. View day/week/month/year. Change starting day of the week (Sunday or Monday). View calendar full screen Can't wait for a major update

Worth the money. I was first put out by purchasing the iPad app then having to purchase the iPhone app. But I now know this is optional-my bad. Tip download iPhone app first. I am still glad I have purchased iPad app. It is beautiful. I love the colours, the photos I can add links to Files on clouds eg onenote files on cloud and Dropbox etc. I love how you can display your folders in postcard, thumbnail or list format etc. is a bit clunky as it isn’t sending notifications to my watch but again this could be me. I have finally found my alternative to wunderlist

Good but.... This app would be fantastic if only the actual calendar was larger. For someone like me whose eyesight isn't what it once was it is difficult to see the entries on the calendar. Love the colour coding, helps to highlight certain entries. Would be even better if the diary view for the entries would scroll automatically to the current day rather than starting at the beginning of the year and needing to scroll to find the notes of the day. Not so bad now but this could get very annoying in December.

Useful, but could be better. I know it says you can get the default calendar and awesome note to update each other, but it doesn't. I use this app on both the phone and ipad but don't want to use an online sync company to update the info on each gadget. It says you can send one file/date at a time to and from each gadget... not very useful at all... very hard to keep the calendar up to date. Being that both are the same app why did we have to buy each one separately? As someone else said, there are better ones out there for less money. But apart from the connecting issues, its a nice app to use.

Awesome App. This is an excellent note-taking app; one of the best and well worth the money. I am using it as a work diary, personal diary and to-do organiser (limited by poor metadata handling if you need to record when tasks were completed). Using Awesome Notes I have also (at considerable cost of time and pain) converted, split, spliced and moved my old travel diaries from my faithful Palm TX where I previously had them in a Palm solution called Daynotez. In AwesomeNotes I have been able to mix in my photos from the and add locations from Google Maps, which has been fantastic. The only big thing missing from Awesome Notes (and indeed from all other similar Apps) is a proper tag manager. I am still looking for improvements that would allow batch tagging, tag editing, and also searches and filters by multiple tags. This would turn (I know from Daynotez experience) a couple of well tagged years of diaries into a phenomenally powerful and flexible information tool. It would allow me to once again comb back through my notes to effectively access ad hoc 'files' based on combinations of events like exercise, moods, projects, weather, people, health, places.

This is a great app, but needs weekly view. I love this app: it's the only diary I could find that allows you to add photos to an entry. I use this to photograph my bills, put it as an entry on the day due, then destroy the paper copy: no more bills lying around! It would be even better, however if it allowed a full screen calendar and the option of a weekly rather than just monthly. Other that that, it's the best :)

Excellent productivity app!. I'm a big fan of this app, and have been using it for coming up to a year now. I love being able to segregate my notes from meetings, into work, personal, development etc. I also like the ability to tag each to do note, so that I can then view by category like work or personal. I wish that the to do functionality had some more features like a work task database, so I could enter how long the task should take, how much of it I have done, and also to produce graphs or reports that I could show to my manager at the end of the fortnight. That would be über cool. But this is still a great and useful app.

Good except for the sync. There are features provided by this app that are brilliant. It provides an interesting set of tools and textures to render to-dos, diary entries, and general notes via an intuitive visual designer. Only when you try to sync does the fun stop and the pain begin. Both options fail to deliver (Google and Evernote). If you can't trust the Sync, you can't trust the app. Fix the sync features (or lack thereof) and you can expect five stars.

UPDATED: Love, Love, Love!. Update: it would be great if the large white blocks around photos could be removed. Also allowing PDFs to be saved would be anther great feature along with videos. I truly hope that you continue to expand this app it has such amazing potential. I really don't have any complaints about this app. I haven't had any issues backing it up and it has all the gizmos and gadgets I love. My only issues are having to buy it twice (once for iPod touch and once for mini iPad as was mentioned previously) also I would love to have more of the icons in color or maybe have an option of leaving it white or putting it in color. Other than that this app is the best there is and it will be a long time if ever that it will be beat. Keep up the excellent work.

Evernote journal. I'm so happy I found this app I've been looking for an app with a pass code that I could use as a journal/diary for Evernote and I finally found it. Plus I had moved all my notes from Catch notes and Springpad ( both great apps just not ideal for a journal) into Evernote, and couldn't change the "date created" of the notes. Now with this app I just set up sync. Moved all my journal notes into the awesome notes, diary folder in evernote and synced them into awesome notes, changed the dates and synced them back to Evernote. Saved me so much time, but I prefer the speed and aesthetics of awesome note for journaling. So i think i will sync all my notes to awesome notes, So thank you developers and keep up the great work!

Not that awesome. I purchased this app for both my iPhone and iPad and always have problem syncing with my devices. It gets worse each time an update is issued. My settings for both devices are identical yet what I entered in one device it does not show up in the other. Don't waste your time and money with this.

Love this app. I use it all the time. I have a number of visually impaired friends who could use this, but need to be able to enlarge the calendar. They love the colored folders, but need the ability to swipe to enlarge.

Nice. Would love to give it 5 stars if I could customize it more. I would like: draw on photo, import pdf, draw on pdf, import png, full week at a glance, full day at a glance.

Mise à jour. À chaque fois que j'ouvre l'application, il recharge tous les fichiers. Je me retouche avec 4 fois le même dossier, répétitions... Et plus. Je ne peux plus m'en servir car il re-télécharge tout, tout...

I Want My Old Awesome Note Back.. I want my calendar, diary, notes, etc. Back in their folders. Folders on the left side, contents on the right. Have to find a new organizer.

Another but.... Ever since buying this app months ago it has integrated perfectly into my daily workload. The UI is clean and accessible, love awesome note all around but! It still drives me crazy that I have to use Google docs and Evernote to access and modify my notes via my Macbook pro. Could you please create a desktop version with the same/similar layout to the app. Awesome note would then be truly a 5star Awesome !

Needs to Really Sync with Other Apple Products. The work around for syncing isn't that great, it pretty much spits generic folders out to the other device that requires syncing. It is not that great and if you don't use Googledocs it can be a frustrating set up as Google is not the most user friendly site as they shove their agenda down the user's throat. A true sync would not only be easier but create a powerful app set to be used on the go or at home.

Need a fix. I love this app, I use it everyday for my work notes but it keeps crashing on my iPhone and iPad. I lose everything I write before the last upload. Very frustrating!! Please fix it!

Do not download update!!!. I guess taking all the negative comments off the site is one way to fix your problem. The update still did not fix the problem with the tabs; you cannot enter a new tab name as the keyboard will not stay open. The App is now more stable but not great.

Love-hate relationship. Hate having to buy twice, iPad and iPhone. Hate the sync function between the two, should be automatic and instantaneous. Love the appearance, the quick note, the calendar and due task counter on top. Love the calendar and the color organisation, so easy to see what is what. Love the file system, but it doesn't go far enough. It should be possible to create projects inside the folders to keep together related notes, tags are not enough. And we should be able to create lists of to do containing the different steps to do to execute a task. Creating multiple notes to get this result becomes tedious and clutter a folder. I choose Awesome Notes over 2do because of the possibility to mix to do and other types of notes which would permit me to keep together my very infrequent diary entries, my to do to keep my home and car relatively in order (and me staying sane in the process), to organize special activities and, most of all, for my hobbies. I do a lot of craft and the possibility of having in one place my preliminary sketches, material list, basic instructions, to do list, journal entries of the execution, final instructions and a photo of the final product was very attractive. And that is why projects inside folders would be nice, one folder for each type of craft organized by projects. It would make for a clean home page and would be easy to find all related information. Tags will partially compensate but it will be very cluttered.

Bring back Anote1!. After last update all my 7000 notes disappeared... I d like my notes back!!!

Bring back the older version. Absolutely loved it UNTIL I made the switch to ios 9.ease of use, ability to move items from one day to another, colors, everything I loved has been changed......

Doesn. What is the point of a program that will sync with Evernote, and not with my iMac or MobileMe? I don't care to have an account with Evernote, or with GoogleDocs, and I don't need programs that herd me toward them. This program will not mesh with my existing calendars either. In short, it requires me to flip back and forth between two programs (iCal and it) in order to see what I have in a couple of days or next week. There is more to writing something useful than a nice interface, and so I hope that I hear no more about how stupendously beautiful the screen might be. Give us the use of our existing resources by integrating with them. I should not have to create accounts all over the place just to get my work done. Life is too short for this! I have given this program 3 stars, against my better judgement. I would have given it 5 stars had it been actually useful.

No longer supported?. I loved this app, but with no updates in 4 years, I quit using it. I’ve had other apps “disappear after not being properly updated - so buyer beware.

Big letdown!. Is there a reason why you didn't post my negative review? I didn't use any inappropriate language or threats - just told you what I think about your updated app. Or doesn't it matter to you what your customers really think? Can I have Awesome Note 1 back?

Do not download Update. It was the best Note App, in the Apps Store. But now, since the August Update, They change the look, and it's not friendly user like it used to be... I used that app every day since 4 years, but not anymore. Support doesn't care. Didn't pay for those unwanted changes. Thinking of a class action lawsuit against Brid and Apple !

Most beautiful AND effective note taking app I. I can't praise this app enough! I am a long time user of the iPhone version and I've been waiting anxiously for an iPad release since it has the potential to be used for much more extensive note taking than is possible on the iPhone. Although the iPad version costs an additional $2.99 (if you get in while it's still on sale) it's well worth it. I was able to sync the iPad version with the notes from my iPhone (going through Google Docs). Now that I have all my notes on my iPad I will be definitely be using this for organizing information for books I am planning to write and other extensive projects. Because of the way that it allows you to categorize and group information I find it much more useful than any of the available office apps (I've tried them all) and the syncing means that you have you documents from wherever you are - on your iPhone, iPad, or laptop. I was wondering what was taking the creators of the app so long to come out with an iPad version. Now that I see all the time that was put into it I am glad they took the time they did. The design is incredible and the iPad version brings a huge number of new features that aren't found in the iPhone version. I've just started to explore the app but I already love it. I would recommend it to anyone and I'll be using it as the app that I first show people when I want to demonstrate the power and beauty of iPad apps. Great work keep it up!

won't sync. a beautiful iPad app and my favorite notes. it syncs with iCal but does not sync with my iPhone app. so the iPhone app is now useless unless I want to manually copy all the info ere. which is ridiculous.

Could not survive without this haha!. I don't know how I kept on top of everything before this app!

Really great but. Update 2023. They do not support this app. Over 4 yrs since last update. It would be helpful if you could attach docs or PDF to notes. It's a bummer it won't sync with your calendar. Google cal at least. But it is a very nice app.

Terrible update, Support awful! Switch to Evernote!!!. So sorry I downloaded this update. My tabs (when i was finally able to FIND them in the new, dreadful, re-organized format) are suddenly displaying in triplicate! At one time Bridworks support was good, now it is non-existant. No-one ever replies to emails.

Real bullets please. Awesome note aesthetically is one of the most pleasing apps in the app store and it offers a a lot of functionality too. It would be my go to calendar, to do and note app, but, it drives me nuts that there are no real bulleting or indentation features. Bullets and indentations only indent the first line and not the whole paragraph. And though it sinks with Evernote… The bulleting and indentation features don't work the same. If Awesome note offered true indentation it would truly be an awesome app.

Awesome!!! And Fun.... This app is Appmazing!(tm) I love it but it is in need of a few things to be Awesome+ IMO. The ability to draw on pictures would be nice and iCloud for auto sync between my iphone4s and ipad2. And maybe just maybe audio recordings in notes. Thanks for the good stuff.

Great little app - needs updating please!. Have lots of notes in aNote - would hate to lose them if the app is not updated and removed from the App Store.

Better than advertised. I looked at this app a few times before deciding to give it a try. I have tried numerous apps of this type and haven't found one that I really enjoy using, until AwesomeNote. It is very well done and has exceeded my expectations. This is the first app that let's me see everything I need on one screen beautifully, without looking like an endless todo list and no squinting. Impressive!

Awesome no more. I started using Awesome Note with the iPhone version. Liked it enough to get the HD version for my iPad. But with the latest updates - lost ability to sync with Google Drive (I had no problem with syncing with Google Drive before, despite what Brid says), app keep crashing. I ended up restoring an older iPhone version to my iPad. Lost some resolution, but at least I can use it, my way

I use it everyday.. There are things that you wish this program could do but doesn't. Yet. They also seem to be very into developing the program and making it better. I use it both on my iPhone and iPad. I can't live without this program. It makes it so much easier to organise and sync my ideas. It just makes me more productive. Would love to see Twitter integration, auto-sync, etc but all these are really trivial nitpickings about a program that's really a must.

I wish I had not downloaded the update!!. When are they going to fix this?

aNOTE. STILL keeps closing after the new update!!!!!! Closes within 2 seconds after opening app, even after restarting iPad. :(

Can''t work without it. As a video producer, and a small one man operation, any tool that can help me keep ontop of things is fantastic. Out in the field, taking my Laptop is not alwys an easy thing to do. Now I can sort things out in the studio, and take the Ipad and Iphone with me, looking up referance material, scripts, location info etc is now a simple task. I love the ability to syne to Evernote as well, as that is where my projects start and is where I keep all my production design eliments.

Love the app, but miss some functions. The app is very good, I use it everyday! Suggest to add the option to create tables and to better synchronize with Evernote (I use it to create backup but if I change something using Evernote then when I synchronize again I lose the formats and sometimes it duplicates the notes).

Great app but needs an update. Used this app for years and has so many features. But time for the developers to update it.

Almost perfect. I have been using Awesome Note for a couple of years now. It's best feature is to be able to stay organized by creating "folders", which also keeps sensitive notes more hidden and private. Now that Apple's "Notes" app has character enhancements, I think it is high time that Awesome Note provides this as well. It would also be nice to have whole paragraphs indent-able. Simple improvements that would be, well — Awesome!

A Truly Great Notes App. This is one of the most attractive and versatile note and task apps available. It's well designed and easy to use, plus has a really great depth of features. It integrates really well with your iOS calendar and reminders, too.

This App changed the world. I want to do a clean icloud update. If I go to Icloud and delete all Awesome note files. Then back up my Ipad, will this be available to my Iphone. I love Awesome Notes and recomend this to everyone of my friends.

Awesome tool. Great note taking tool with lots of cool features.

Excitement fizzled. Yay, finally a new update, whoohoo. And sync to iCloud. Awesome. Ya right. Important stuff first: I toggle on iCloud syncing and go back to use the app. I think it tried its best to sync, but nope. It crashes the app. I can reopen, wait, crashes again as it automatically tries to sync to iCloud. Luckily I can re-open and toggle off iCloud sync. But now how am I to back it up? The old way sucked bat droppings making everything duplicate or all wonky. Disappointing backgrounds too. I mean, some are ok, but I really had hope for some nice choices this time around. Icons for folder tabs are worse now. From ugly to lacking. Um, where did the ability to add BULLETS go? I like the larger layout though (of folder overview).

A Great App. This is a great app for keeping notes organized. It has so many features. No problems syncing between iPad and iPhone. Easy to search files. Easy to organize. Clean yet colourful look. They update it well and it keeps getting better. Worth the money!

Best text based note taking app. A whole bunch of goodness in an inexpensive package.

Cool app. In case you are wondering : IT DOES WORK WITH THE APPLE PENCIL but only in drawing mode I’ve been using this app for 5 years and it is great... it has a lots of options to personalized your journal... I’ve never lost any notes and I have rarely face bugs. I think for a general planner, it is kind of good. A little expensive on iPad but in the end it worths it I guess. Seen comments about people losing notes, I’m a bit worried now tbh... Would be sooo great if it could work with Apple Pencil but not only on drawing mode !

Had for a Long Time. I’ve used this app for a long time. In one folder I have a lot of notes and I’d really like to do some cleaning up. It would be Awesomely handy to be able to export them to a spreadsheet or at least print them out. Currently I think the only way you can do it is one by one. I have hundreds of notes which will take an enormous amount of time. Please Please add this feature!

Great app. I have been using this app for a very long time. Love it. Easy to use and navigate.

Angry. Why? Why change something that was A-Some? You made my years of work in this app go down the drain. The tagging is now a nightmare when I am looking for pics with the same tag because the pics are a small little square on a narrow column stuck to the right. There is an infinite number of rows with the same tag name to scroll down to get to the next tag name. Can't see the tags when I open a note. I have to click to see the tags. Why make simple when you can complicate, right? I had to redo all my folder outlooks. You should have added options instead of changing my choices. Very disappointed and thinking of finding another app to restart my work by copy/paste. I want to cry.

Simply the Best !!!. I just wished I had purchased this one in the first place ... I can now keep everything in just one place.

Can't sync !. J'adore l'app, mais la synchronisation entre le iPhone et le iPad ne fonctionne pas vraiment ! Dommage !

Terrible new icons!!!. The new icons are awful - and very limited. Nothing related to money, work, board games, video games, quick notes, etc, just to mention few. Please give us the option to bold and/or highlight words on the entry titles.

Awesome Note. I wish the folder would sort automatically, I would give it 5star

Awesome if... I had been using awesome note for many years with satisfaction until I got apple pencil and macbook. The key reason I abandoned aNote(short for awesome note) is handwritting feature is not enough to be good. Slow and inaccurate. And also it doesn’t have any feature to collaborate with desktop version app, which may be convenient for those who have both devices. Some note app has a handwriting recognition feature as well. I would suggest that feature too. I am really satisfied with the way aNote shows contents I created. Well organizing and simple beautiful design. Please be encouraged to develop more!

Sync issues. This would be a great app if iCloud sync worked consistently and accurately. Without this being fixed the app is useless for me. What a shame. This app has a lot of potential.

Favorite Note App. I use this app daily and find it to be the best note app available. This app does a lot of stuff and I use it them all! Awesome note can be considered multiple apps in one. Apps with 5 stars are perfect! There are a few reason I did not give this app 5 stars, once this has this available I will update my review. 1. Need to have a better way to organize folders. If there was a way to group folders together, folders within folders. For instance having a folder for my work and in there to have folders for the projects that I work on or other info. Or it could be Folder with Projects in them so organize projects with there own notes & todo tasks. 2. Text edit with multiple fonts in one note. 3. Able to add more than one type of bullet point, like a check box that can be checked. 4. Ability create a check list of things to do. not just one item per note, multiple check boxes in one note. 5. Live & Sync between iPhone & iPad! This would be very nice! Thanks for making a Awesome Note app lets make the best Note APP and I will sing the praises of your fine work always. If you don't make it happen I will end up making my own app one day when I have the time... :)

Abandonware?. A*Note was one of the best and still could be with a couple of updates...

Really good organizer. If you're looking for really good organizer this one works well. It syncs with your native calendar and reminders. You can use Siri to give voice commands to set a task. I love having the calendar the tasks and notes all in one place. I would give it five stars for sure if you could tap on the calendar itself to view event details. You can create them by touching the calendar but you can't view the details but it's in the calendar. Instead you use the list below the calendar to view event and task details. It's not bad, but it would feel more natural touch the calendar if you wanted to. Also, at the moment you can transfer and sync your notes using Evernote and Google Drive. In addition, you can transfer your notes using Bluetooth to any other Bluetooth device you have. But it would be really nice if you could use dropbox. One last thing I would love to see would be a full-screen view of the calendar. You can see the details of the calendar already but I just like a full-screen view sometimes. My preferences aside, this app works amazing. I love having all this in one place It just helps my mind focused better. Great job to the developers.

To me this is the perfect Note app. I love this app, its easy and practical, I wish it become more popular so the developer invest more time on it

Repeat. I have had this app since it came out on the App Store, and I really like it. It has been improved on all along the way. I can keep everything in one place to keep on top of things. It syncs wonderfully between devices and the calendar repeat options are great - like repeating an event on the 3rd Wednesday of every month. I can keep bits and pieces of information on anything - and do so in an organized fashion. Journal (diary) entry function is good - allowing pictures and maps. I don't need a separate Journalling app or a separate notes app or calendar app. Everything is here - from repeating to-dos to detailed note taking. Thank you, developers for continually making improvements on this app. My one request - to enter todos to repeat after completion.

Not as awesome as they say!. This is a "Love/Not so much" type of program. I would not suggest it to anyone I know. This program is nice to look at and has some pretty good features compared to others of it's kind (pictures, hand written notes and due dates all in one are pretty sweet to have). But the draw backs to this app prevent me from using it the way I really need it to work. An app like this need to have a simple and reliable back up and sync solution. This app connects to Google Docs, which is cool. But I really need it to sync to Google Calender as well, that way I have a real back up/sync for my tasks and events due at a certain time. Also, I need a desktop interface of some sort. Typing EVERYTHING on an iPad/iPhone screen, as cool as they are, is not the best way for me to handle all of my note/task scheduling. But the biggest problem I have is that there is no real way to sync the iPad and iPhone versions. So if you were planning on doing that, don't waste your money. Matter of fact, knowing what I know now, I wouldn't have bought this app. I now have to wait and see if they add, Google Calender sync, iPad/iPhone sync and a desktop interface before I can see this app fitting into my plans on more than an occasional basis.

Apple Pencil. Add support for Apple Pencil and the missing stars will appear

Great Looking App, Missing Important Features. This app is beautifully designed and is complete with everything you might need to organize your notes, thoughts and information. But it is missing some key features that you might expect from a modern application. First of all, the iPad and iPhone versions do not sync through iCloud. This seems like an obvious feature especially for a $7 iPad app coupled with a $5 iPhone app. True, you can sync through Evernote or Google Docs, but this sync feels more like a backup than truly keeping the iPhone and iPad version seamlessly integrated. As a result the two apps are in a silo from one another and do not work well for a single user switching between 2 devices. I would expect at this point, to add a note on my iPad and then be able to access that note on my iPhone. Third, the developer has never created a Mac version of the app. This would be the final component that would make this a must have. Why wouldn't I want to access and continue my work when on my desktop? All told I love the app. It is cool looking and fun to work in, but in the end only being able to use it on one device really hampers it's usefulness.

Malfunctioning. My app opens but is frozen on the screen. Your update log is going bonkers right now! An update every other minute that isn’t even being pushed out to the users. What’s going on?!?

No longer supports Google drive. Just upgraded to the newer version for iPad. I can no longer access or sync my files. How do I be my money back. What a waste of a good app. Loved it for years.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE. I LOVE THIS APP!!! I’ve used it for many years. PLEASE update it, or let someone else have it to update. PLEASE acknowledge your users/supporters. I’d gladly pay for this app!

Update the app. When are going to update the app?? Some features are not working for me and when i try to use them the app shut down! Please fix it.

I've tried'em ALL!!. I think I must have some kind of addiction to these 'organizer, schedulers, daytimer' thingys.. (I keep thinking I'll find ONE and be more organized)!! They all seem to have strengths and weaknesses. Finding one that does it all has been the mission! Well this is as close as I've come so far! I purchased it about 4 months ago, and didn't take the time to find out all that it could do! The biggest deal is it integrates with Apples 'Reminders'!! (this is a big deal) I can use Siri to make a reminder and it will show up in my awesome note. Additionally multiple folders for all my specific issues. Bottom line if you work with it long enough you can configure it to do most anything! Calendar views, Note views To Do views, Reminders,.. it seems to have covered it ALL!

Review Update - One Issue. I've used this app for four months now and continue to be impressed with its versatility. However, this week I was bitten twice because I accidently deleted some text and could not find an UNDO button. So, if it's there and someone can point to it for me, I would appreciate that. If not, I'm IMPLORE the author to include an undo for text deletions. Otherwise, thanks for a great app. ... and my favorite app. I use this app for work and for home. I customized the categories on the left, and password-protected those that needed more security. What do I use it for? I have the memory of an elephant so all of my computer procedures are stored here. I have a category to track all the books I've read, and books I'm looking for. I have categories for "to-do" lists and shopping lists. I store personal thoughts and poetry I write. I kept the Christmas category and already have some ideas in there for future gifts. Did I mention recipes? I type in my favorite recipes as well. I know they transfer to Evernote, but really, who needs Evernote when you have this?

No Mutitasking Support.. A big bummer especially paying another 3 dollars for an app I already have on my iPhone.

WOW! Amazing features, BUT BEWARE OF SYNC ISSUE. THE GOOD: This is an amazing app for taking spur of the moment notes, etc. because it basically integrates everything under the sun (IF they ever add PDF and Office attachments, and a "lasso web" feature in the future, it would be gangbusters). The organization is great too! Very fluid and intuitive interface. THE BAD: Because it's not a universal app, it can't use iCloud to sync between iPad and iPhone versions, and therefore they require you to manually Sync via their Database Backup feature - this is cumbersome if you make a small change in a single note on one device, you have to backup/transfer the WHOLE database each time, and only on the same WIFI - it also requires that you remember what version is the latest on which device. I initially used my Google Drive (former Docs) account to sync using same Google Drive, but for some reason, when the same note was accessed on both devices (even if nothing changes, just opened for viewing), the note on both devices would be deleted (I found this out the hard way and lost some good data as a result :/) - if anything, if it can't reconcile, it should at least duplicate the entry, but instead, it deletes them both. This is unfortunate..

Love the idea...but..... I've used this app for years....because I love the folders, colors....organization of it, but it does NOT sync well from my phone to my iPad. It scrambles everything if it syncs at all. Wish they'd fix it.

Awesome, but audio notes, please!. Awesome. I was just looking up if your iPad version came out yet, but your website said not yet. Thought it couldn't hurt to try so I search for it in the app store, and there it was, just released. (That was fast, hehe.) There were no ratings or comments then, but now that I figured out how to review something, here goes! + I've never tried awesome notes on the iPhone, but the iPad version is easy to catch onto. Great job, keep it up! + I love the way you can make any note into a todo. Very useful. I have yet to test the alarms, though, so can't say anything there. + Syncing with Evernote is easy, I just added "[aNote] " as a prefix for all my existing notebooks. + I love the calendar view. I realized I didn't have the correct dates for some of my notes! Just two things. - Handwriting: can be a lot smoother. I'm spoiled with PenUltimate. - Audio: please, please, please. Please add some sort of audio notes/recording feature, at least like Evernote's. Working with the iPad's built-in mic is what I'm looking for. I'm a music student, and this is one of the only things I figure I'll need to go to another app for. If you have this, five stars it is. Other than that, great job!

One of my absolute best business apps!. I've had Awesome Note for a few years now on both my iPad and my iPhone. It is one of my most used apps for my remodeling business. I use it to keep track of everything about my clients, names, addresses, contact info, scheduling, you name it. Its calendar is van more useful for my business than my go to Calendars 5 app, and that's saying a lot, as that is the best strictly calendar app I've ever found. I haven't had NY of the syncing issues others talk about, I sync with Evernote, and it works flawlessly between my iPad and iPhone, but iCloud is also available, although I haven't tried it. And Awesome Note just keeps getting better! Every time I think I wouldn't change a thing, they make some subtle yet easier to use adjustment, and I love it even more. It's the best!

One of only a handful of apps that have survived 7 years!. I love AwesomeNote. It was one of the first apps I installed when I got my first iPad in 2010 or 2011. I just upgraded a few weeks ago to an iPad Pro and realized the other day how few apps have stuck with me through three iPads now, but Awesome Note is one of them. Since the day I got it, I have used it pretty much on a daily basis. It is jam-packed with the last 7 years of my life and I have to say has been utterly consistent and reliable and still operates as efficiently as it did initially even as the gigabytes it consumes on my iPad continues to grow. The thing I appreciate the most is while the developers are constantly improving it to take on new features of IOS, they don’t feel the need to constantly be overhauling and totally changing the look and feel. Many an app that I totally loved has been abandoned when it is updated and the original look and capability that I had initially purchased it for has disappeared entirely and I’m so frustrated trying to figure out how to use it again, that I just don’t. Actually, AwesomeNote has become the repository for the information that I previously kept in almost every one of those abandoned apps and has handled it beautifully. That’s the beauty of it - its versatility in handling a wide range of different formats and types of information. I love the fact that seven years later AwesomeNote still has the same look and feel, albeit many, many more features than originally! It would be even more awesome to have Apple Pencil capabilities built in, but I have to say I am pretty darn happy with it just as it is!

Effective and helpful, has a lot of potential!. This has almost exactly the workflow I was looking for to take notes with client meetings and integrate with my iOS reminders, notes and calendar, while still letting me have my own CRM program elsewhere. It's simplicity is part of its charm while still powerful in functionality. The things I would do to bring the review to 5 stars are: a Mac OS version with the same functionality, background sync through iCloud instead of Google Drive, have a way for the configuration on one device (folder structure/colors/icons/settings etc) to be automatically sync'd to another device without having to manually set them all up on each one, and integrate notes from the iOS/iCloud Notes app. A lot of great functionality here already, and a lot of potential for some great tweaks to make this the best note taking app on the market!

Very Good App. I downloaded this app to replace my Franklin Planner after 20 years, and so far, I have been very happy. I take notes on the spot for every single meeting, and review them when needed (the tagging and search functions make this very easy). I love being able to e-mail meeting notes within minutes of the meeting conclusion. And the confidence of backup to EverNote means I don't worry about losing my work. The folders are very user-configurable and keep me organized the way that I personally prefer. Great job! One request for possible future versions. I would like to see the Note and To-Do memo types be combined into one. It would be nice to be able to embed to-do actions right into meeting notes, instead of having to make two separate memos.

Love it... BUT. I love this app except for the delayed sync between devices. If love a more immediate and seamless sync between devices. Otherwise great app

Still searching. This app does what I was looking for, but it should be better designed. What I like: - I am looking for an app that consolidates the calendar, reminders and notes apps. Awesome Notes does that. - With Awesome Notes I can categorize my notes. I was looking for that too. - It syncs with the native Calendar, Reminders and Notes app, therefore through iCloud. So I can seamlessly use it on my peecee at work. And, it auto syncs. - It looks great on my iPhone, and works well there too. I've been using Week Calendar, 2Do and Notes for a couple of years. Week Calendar and 2Do are awesome, functional, and so customizable. They look beautiful. But, I'd like to see it all in one app. Hence, my search. What I don't like: - The puny calendar view on the iPad version. It's very disappointing. I think the calendar is actually larger on the iPhone. I want to be able to see everything on the calendar without scrolling around or switching to list view. Plus, there is only one calendar view--the whole month. - I mentioned this to the developer who basically said, "we'll put that somewhere on our list of possible upgrades." Okay. I'm sure there's something else out there that integrates all this while looking outstanding--as an iPad app should. So, I'll keep looking.

Incomparable. Powerful, elegant, adaptable, intuitive, easy to work with; well thought through on every front. Superior service and excellent updates. One of the keystones on my iPad and iPhone: it gets used time and again every day. I realize there have been complaints about syncing, but that is simply not my experience. Once I've made changes on my iPad or iPhone, I simply sync to Google Docs. Once the sync is complete, you just open the other device and touch sync there. I have never had a problem with this, never lost data, never been out sync anywhere. Of course, if you make changes on both devices (iPad and phone) without syncing, you will run into problems the next time you attempt to sync. But if you just remember to sync both devices after making a change, it is simply zero problem, in my experience. This has been an amazing workhorse that is easy to use and rock solid in its dependability. The latest updates were smooth and the product is constantly improving. Exceptionally high quality. Apart from my Pages/Numbers combo, this is far and away the best purchase I've made for my iPad, and the one used the most. Simply could not get along without it.

FINALLY!. Having purchased other Note apps and found them either confusing, frustrating or too simplistic, I have finally found what I see as the best of the lot. Awesome Note is so easy to use, so intuitive, so functional, and simply fun. I set up a Google Docs account to back up the data and found myself creating notes and memos with art, maps, and text (using beautiful fonts) in no time. I found myself syncing my notes with one click and dashing off my notes as emails effortlessly. This is so refreshing! I wish I had not spent the money on the other apps, which will probably be removed from my iPad, but it did teach me how to recognize the right one for me when I saw it. Awesome Notes is marvelous. I would only ask that a method for backing up to the MobileMe account be added, although it is certainly probably more convenient to backup to Google Docs where all of the notes can be viewed instantly. I love this app!

Almost Awesome. Almost Awesome.. but not. I think I now have every major contender in the planner/note taker iPad app world. None of them eclipse my need for a physical planner. Awesome Note is unfortunately no exception. I've read that this is a glorified shopping list & to-do app, and I have to agree. There are certain things available out there that this app just doesn't have, but should. Sub Folders! A needed feature for anyone tracking or tasking more complex projects. (Even if you're just running a Home & Family.) Sub-folders & sub-pages are offered in just about every OneNote satellite app out there. They happen to fall short on Calendar & reminder integration. If sub categorization was available, combined with the already available calendar & reminder features, this app would be "more awesome" then the rest... and I would ditch my paper binder for good. Device synch. Pretty much available on most apps, but not here. Makes using your notebook a one device feat. Isn't muti-device functionality one of the benefits of e-notebooks? Import custom papers (or even purchase them like Penultimate). Not a deal breaker, but would be "extra awesome", especially if paired with the pen tool and/or a tap & type feature like Outline+. I'm not giving up & jumping app just yet. I believe AwesomeNote will truly be awesome... One day.

It's so 2008!. The sync is not automatic and is so problematic that even when you sync a single device, it still brings back completed tasks. 1. Where is the real time auto synced between all my devices. It's not like this is an advanced feature any more. I was charged for both the iPad and iPhone app, yet one is totally useless because they sync so terribly. We're being cheated! 2. Where is the "reset list" feature for lists that are often repeated, like groceries? As in, reset list, tag items I need, check off items I put in the cart. ANote: write item, insert tags, purchase item, delete notes of purchased items, start all over again. 3. Where is the email import? Is this the only NOTES app without email support? How inefficient is that? 4. No OCR for pictures? Even Microsoft's Note app has this feature and they are notorious for lagging behind. 5. No web page capture? Oh, okay so it works if I take a pic and insert the pic. (See note 4) 6. Geolocation reminders are common in other apps. But since a proper sync seems impossible, this feature may be expecting FAR too much from this company. Your app is pretty and has (had) a huge following, but a few years later, you're hardly cutting edge. Your app isn't even sharp enough to cut my time, instead it cost precious time with all the things it cannot do. This is a great app for a stay-at-home mom or a junior high school student, but not an app for a professional.

Really Cool, But Still A Couple Of Issues. I am rating this version at a 4. I would give it a 5 but it's lack of continuity between it the iPhone / iPod Touch version create a few problems. In the iPhone version there are 2 additional note types available to use that are not present in the iPad version. The first called Diary which provides a module on the page for the weather and your mood at the time, and the second called anniversary which provides a template and reminder system for easily remembering birthdays. So even if you can overcome the lack of a built in direct syncing solution (and this can be overcome with Google Docs and a little bit of setup work; yes ... I can sync my awesome note files across all of my iOS devices using Google Docs). Come on guys ... solve these 2 little problems, and you may just have a perfect all around note management solution.

Avid note user. There are a number of folks complaining about this app not syncing their most current notes correctly. I have worked with this program for a while and the issue is with Google not the program. Google has a lag time of several minutes. So when the program auto syncs with google, if google is slow it still has the old notes on there server and re syncs with the old notes. Use Evernote and you will have no problem, its very fast. This program should be viewed more as front end for Evernote. It lets you save your notes to Evernote and still have access when Evernote is not available as you have to pay for there premium service to have access to your notes offline.

Simplicity, Function, Design At It's Best.. I go to my iPad for many things, Entertainment, News, Social Networking, Gaming, but above all of these I go to my iPad for Productivity. I love nothing more than organizing my day, honestly its really gross just much I enjoy a good To-Do list. As I have grown older I have found the importance of keeping a calendar, outlining a project, keen note taking, creating To-Do’s and journaling to decompress. I have also found an App that makes it extremely easy to do all of these things in one place. Awesome note HD is an absolutely stunning way to better tackle the pains of organization and productivity. It has a cleaver and easy to use interface with loads of options to customize all the way down to the card stock. You can share your notes, add attachments, draw, print, and even share with Google Docs or Evernote. When people ask me why I love my iPad I usually tap on Awesome Note to start the conversation.

Somewhat awkward to use, Gorgeous interface. I really love this app, but it's missing a few basic essentials in order to be a good note taking app. 1. It desperately needs the ability to click bold. I can't fathom how the designer forgot or decided against this feature. I use bold to make quick titles or stand out view points when taking notes in class. For now I'm supplementing with ALL CAPS, but its not the same. 2. If you indent a line, the next line, you have to manually indent again. This becomes extremely irritating in class, when I'm taking extensive notes. Either implement a tab/list button like notability or set up a tab situation like word (ie: hit tab, then all lines are tabs until a free line + backspace). 3. Please increase page size to the entire width of the screen in landscape mode!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 4. Export as a pdf would be wonderful! 5. Recording would be a nice addition. If changes #1-3 are made, this app would be easily worth 5 stars.

New user. Update: cool today widget! Thank you!!! Syncing seems to work great so far and is very fast. Request: Still wish titles (if they are a URL) were clickable. I add URLs as quick notes and this option it's great but you have to add the URL inside of the note as well in order to click. Right now, I have to either add the URL to the inside of the note and then make that clickable though the button or highlight the URL/then copy/then paste into my browser, which both take time. Other than that, I have no complaints because the app is surely awesome! I am a brand-new user. I bought both the iPad and iPhone because of all the rave reviews but also bought it knowing some people reported bugs. I can confirm there are bugs. I'm hooked up to Evernote and sometimes my folders will get synced when I make changes. And sometimes they won't. Certain things will transfer over while other don't. As others mentioned I too would love to have Google drive, because that is my main source of documents where I keep many things. I also have a feature request - when saving url links (as a quick note), please allow the URL to be opened from the title itself, not just inside the note. This would make it a lot quicker when adding bookmarks as quick notes..

HELP. Loved this app so much I spent hours setting up folders and then decided it should be on my iPhone too. So I paid for the iPhone app (in addition to what I spent for iPad). But syncing with Google Docs DOES NOT WORK. All the standard preset folders remained on the phone, and the new notes were imported as notes alone -- without folders (yes, the colors and icons I so carefully chose didn't import either). Yes, it said that data would be imported as notes alone, but how else do I transfer the data from the iPad to iPhone? Do I really have to spend HOURS re-setting up the phone app's folders? And, if I do, what hope to I have of making a change on one device only to have it sync to the other? I'm really frustrated right now. But, as I said, love iPad app. I want to use this on multiple devices. Website says I can. Wish support were more clear or there was an option to contact someone. All i can see is a direction to delete everything and re-sync -- after spending HOURS (yes, i'm serious, HOURS) setting up folders and notes, I am extremely reluctant to do this without assurance it will work. HELP

Not quite there. I have this app on my iPhone as well as my iPad. It has a major frustrating aspect. I have to manually upload files to Evernote then download them back to my iPhone if I want my two devices to have the same info. So every time I create a new note I have to go through the process of syncing with Evernote then downloading it to the other device. At first it was no big deal but now that I'm really using the app more it has become tedious. When you do an automatic sync with evernote it sends you all of your notes again so you end up with duplicate notes . Then if you edit one of your notes you have to export the new version go to evenote and delete the old version. Highly irritating if you are trying to journal. Also when I try to print directly from the app words at the margin get cut off. This is also irritating. Especially since I'm trying to print recipes. If you copy and paste a recipe from a website the format gets all screwed up and you have to go in and manually fix it. I would give it 5 stars if they could fix this. Maybe iCloud would be a solution? This app has so much potential. It has a beautiful interface. It's highly customizable and has a great concept. Too bad it's just not quite there yet in terms of being amazing.

Pretty good. Like most other reviewers have said, iCloud sync needs to be added. I also wish there was a way to archive completed notes and to dos, not delete them. Apples Reminders moves tasks to Completed and saves them under the date completed making it easy to look back. You can also uncheck it and it gets added back to your to do list. Under Shopping the notes it is nice this app can have a heading like "Groceries" and a list underneath that can be checked off but you need to be able to archive the individual items on the list. Right now all you can do is check off the individual items but to take them off the list you actually have to delete them or mark the entire list as complete and delete it and start all over with a new list next time. With the addition of iCloud sync and archive this would be a five star app.

Customer support. Does this app even exist anymore? I need help restoring a file! How do I contact you? Marji Sakievich

Great app but all info saved is gone. Great app but my info after re installing app is gone.

aNote + Evernote = Genius!. I've been playing around with aNote for several months, but have used Evernote for several years. My interest in aNote is mostly as a complement to Evernote, however I'm discovering that aNote can hold its own even without the integration of EN. I've been trying to develop my own GTD system within Evernote for years, but the lack of integration with a reliable calendar required a lot of duplication of effort. Enter aNote and Google Calendar. I've been able to sync "events" (appointments in Google Cal) to my calendar in aNote, then use the notes synced from Evernote to schedule my daily, this week, and someday tasks and add due dates and follow-up information. I keep track of daily "todos" as well as multi-step projects in aNote, but use Evernote to plan the projects and collect resources (photos, links, documents, etc) and that information is also available in aNote. It takes a while to figure out how to bring all these resources together, but once you have your system built it's just a matter of maintenance and "working your plan."

Love Love Love It!. This is by far my favorite app to organize my life. Not only do you have a calendar with all of your events on it but you can view separate calendars for each of your tabs. The tabs are fully customizable so you can have one for shopping, work, school, gym, etc and to top it off you can even group the tabs and create space in between so you never get confused. I also love that my notes can be viewed as little post its(thumbnail),list, added details, etc. The only reason I didn't give this app five stars because it does not have a way of setting a custom repeat, ie. there is no way to have an event occur say monday-friday or only tuesday and thursday. This is something I find would be useful for people who only attend classes some days or work several jobs and have the same schedule but only some days a week. Other than that though this app is great definitely worth a try.

Amazing APP!. When I got my iPad a few months ago, I was researching to do apps and installed quite a few. This app is by far the best to be the most comprehensive to do app. I use the GTD system, and it flows very nicely. It also will sync all or select folders to evernote or google docs. I use this app everyday and think it is very versatile and easy to use. I also like that you can tag your notes and search them by tag. It can be used as a to do list, journal, reference manual, etc. It does a lot that evernote does, but the interface is very friendly and easy and quick to use. I highly recommend this app, especially since the price is so reasonable since it can replace your planner. I use it in conjunction with my google calendar, reminders.

DON'T SYNC WITH GOOGLE!!!!!!!!!!!. I am so frustrated and borderline ready to start screaming...I had over 600 notes in over 20 folder which I painstakingly created and organized over the last year and half. I hit the new sync to google drive button in the home screen and allowed Awesome Note to sync all my notes to google. Upon completion of the sync, all my notes and folders are gone, no longer available in awesome note. I can see my notes in google, but my folders are gone. I can transfer my notes back, but the import feature will only allow me to select one at a time, and I can't import my folders back which is one of the main reasons I had this app...I am soooo angry! This would be a five star rating if this app had an even half way decent sync system because the organizational system is that good...however, the sync system is so bad that this app now gets one star from me and I am not sure I will ever use it again. If the developers update the sync system, I will reconsider changing my review, but until then, don't waste your time with this app if if ever desire to sync your notes.

Used to love it!. Now it is just ABANDONED WARE!! Too bad…

Perfect for me. I was saving some credits for a different app but after reading some reviews I decided to try. It is very easy to create different folders to put your notes and after you start using it for different kinds of notes, you can really understand how cool this app really is. It can show every folder in a different way so it fits better on the subject. If you have a schedual with dates and specific times to do all your stuff, it can give you a really nice calendar and it organizes your folder by date. If you just need to take care of your budget, you can put your bills with images of your receits and even mark the ones you payed and still need to pay. If you wanna prepare a trip you can separe each city or country with different notes and put maps, photos and even draw stuff on it so you always bring all your info about that place. There are so many ways of using it that i was really impressed. It still needs some upgrades and let you sync in different ways, but I think it s a great app if you are looking for something to be your note, schedual, calendar and To Do list on the same place. I have other apps but they are not nearly as good as this one. hope it can help you in some way. See ya

Great. I’ve tried them all. This is the best.

Love this App!. Can’t tell you how many times I use this APP per day but it’s a BUNCH! Absolutely love it! Thank you

Was Awesome. I've had this app for years and even though there are some issues I still love it it. It is a visually pleasing workspace. I almost gave it a two star review because of my upset over the recent "upgrade". I had customized colors, icons, stationary, fonts and had it set up the way I wanted it. Now with this upgrade ALL of my notes backgrounds, colors, and fonts were changed to drab colors and arial fonts. Years of colorizing journals and notes to make them easy to find based on subject and to my liking and all wiped out with their executive decision to redesign all of my customizations. Really frustrating. I've yet to find a better looking app though and so I'm giving it another chance. I'm giving it a good rating in hopes that they will learn from their mistakes and only improve this app without violating the creative choices made by users to customize it. That IS one of it's best features after all.

Update required. Please update the app to support iOS 14.

Awesome as it says. Totally worth it, complete. Should be greater with multiple video formats capability.
