No update?. Keeps crashing on iOS 15.1 if I try to rename or delete any item. Great app but Please update to fix bugs.

Awesome. Works well and it's free. Needs some work on the organization features though.

I Prefer it over my iPad and IPod touch's native media viewers. This app was disappointing at 1st but after adding a few extensions to it I fell in love with it, I stopped using the native viewer and browser for movies on the iPad because this app is much more convenient and also let's me play 1080p videos which iTunes otherwise refuses. This app is much better compared to the other USB apps out there. Pros: It's free Great folder structuring Password lock (extension) Overall robust viewer for files, lots of files supported. Plays 1080p videos. Thumbnail previews for images Cons: Occasional crashes and instability, not major. Some issues in viewing .docx files, does not always scroll the file fully. Conclusion: I might buy the pro version and get the wifi transfer features, I kinda like that.

Vee. I have not used this app as much as I would like to, but it has served me well when I have. Definitely useful.

Amazing Application. This is a very good application to have. I use it in class and it doesn't require internet connection to access.

USB DISK. This free application has it's purpose. Thank you. It is useful and allows me to view docs that I might not be able to view.

Great Utility App. A great app that I use almost daily; mainly for viewing and storing attachments from emails, but also to keep some handy reference docs on my iPad. Let's you create folders to arrange files, and you can rename and move files between folders. Another bonus is the ability to drag and drop files from iTunes during syncing. I wouldn't do without it.

No tie to iWork even this long after iOS-8 release?!. I cannot understand why on earth this app [and apparently no others like it either] still provides no ties to iWork even this long after the iOS-8 release! You tie to everybody else, but not to iCloud Drive.

Used to be great. Now crashes everytime.. This app used to be great—especially for Apple Watch file management and viewing. Now, after iOS 15.1 and watchOS 8 have released, the app crashes each time you try to transfer a file between your phone and watch.

Good Utility. I have used this for some time now and it is great! I store a lot of manuals and documents on this and it works perfectly.

5 Stars For Watch Music Player Update. In the recent update(2.9.1), the music player on Apple Watch is significantly improved and makes it the best local music player on an Apple Watch that I ever used.

vs DropBox. A previous reviewer noted the resource impact of this vs. DropBox. My biggest issue with DropBox is that it requires on-line accounts and storage. It would be another privacy policy for me to keep track of. This app works very well for routine file movement--it's all I need.

Not reliable. I only use the google drive. Sometimes it woks awesome, some times it does not let you log in and keep popping up reset , but it does nothing after reset times after times. It just doesn't let you log in.

Handy but not complete. This is a handy app to have similar to dropbox except it is all local which is nice for those who need files without Internet. But it's difficult to get files on this app because you have to use iTunes which for many people is a drag. The email implementation is nice and the open with is very helpful. Now I see you can email files to get them in this app but to get them off you have to email again or use iTunes. What would be a handy addition to this would be to sync with Dropbox or some online storage. This would make it easier to get files off if there is no computer you can sync with. It would be even more useful if there was a file extractor for zip archives.

Not a flash disk app. Was expecting an app that could interface with a flash disk. Requested a refund but still no response. Awaiting confirmation.

The Developers are scammers! Please Read. I was really excited when I saw that the new update would do zip files. However, when you see zip files you see this word (extension) this means that it is not actually available until you download a few third parties apps. Some of them these apps require that you buy an app. Once you download some third party app you will have to wait a few hours before you can use the zip extension. This is lowest form of an app. Boycott this app until the developers stop sponging off of there customers. These developers are a perfect example of scammers. DON't BUY THIS APP!

This version of USB Disk works well with the iPad 2. I began using drop box as a convenient way to transport and view files on iPhone, and it has been an exceptionally useful tool. When I purchased my iPad I initially thought I'd have to find some other similar tool designed to work on the iPad, so I was very pleased to discover that it not only works, but works well! Keep up the good work Imesart team!

Great app with one flaw. I have loaded quite a few documents onto my ipad using various apps like this. I constantly bring all the documents to the USB disk app b/c it just works. The only problem that I have is that some of the powerpoint presentations wont open all the slides when in full screen mode. The easy fix is to look at the same presentation in with local files showing and you can see everything. For free, I can deal with that work around. Once they fix this problem, Air Sharing and Filer are most likely gonna be deleted from the ipad.

Great Idea but ADS make the app useless. Like the idea of the app but the ads make the app unusable. The ads keep you from seeing the content being displayed on the bottom of the page. The fact that the ads are also IN YOUR FACE makes this a totally useless app. Unless you like to read ads and not the content of the document then download this app otherwise take a pass on it.

A great addition to my iPad. This app is an extremely useful addition to iPad. It is easy to use, and not intimidating at all. It is such a great addition to the iPad that Apple should purchase it and incorporate it into future updates. If you have need to transfer MP3s or video files from your PC to iPad as I do, you will love this app.

OK I guess.... Now, I am not going to rate this app badly only because there are better alternatives - it does what it promises and that's nice - but, and this is a big but, it is completely unnecessary if you use DropBox. Since the time I got my iPad I only used iTunes bloatware once, and that was for the five seconds it took to activate the iPad. Since then I have uninstalled iTunes from my computer completely again (speeds it up considerably because all that iTunes baggage is not longer taking up processor time, bandwidth, and memory) and I simply use DropBox to sync everything... This USB Disk software still requires you to have iTunes wasting your desktop's resources, it still requires you to connect via USB while, with DropBox your iPad simply grabs all files you drop into your DropBox folder on your desktop, and the DropBox app takes only about 1/50 of the system resources iTunes does. So my opinion about this app: Go for it if wasting your system resources to iTunes bloatware doesn't bother you, but use DropBox instead if you prefer more freedom and convenience.

Free version useless junk. It is more than useless; it gets in the way. If you get an email with a QuickTime video attached, you aren't going to watch it because not only won't it play from this app, the app gets it's nose in so you cant view it any other way but to delete USBdisk. The PAID app MIGHT work but if the demo app doesn't show me it works, I'm certainly not going gamble on the paid version. It will be deleted and forgotten shortly.

Love it. On opening the app I thought oh great another useless app but when I opened my nas storage and started downloading files it was fast and worked great! This app is worth the download.

You cannot transfer folders.. You cannot move whole folders at a time. So if you want to move anything more than two or three files, you're better off just using an actual USB drive.

Lifesaver!. I had to use extra long pdfs for research while trying to finish my essay. I was in a car and couldnt print anything then I downloaded this app and BAM! a 64 pg pdf in great quality with zoom. Then I sent it via email to my partner and didnt fail the class. DONT PAY ATTENTION TO REVIEWS!!!! You MUST get this awesome app. And the ads arent distracting at all!

Got it. Tried it. Meh.. Got it. Tried it. Have had it for several months. Just purchased the zip extension today....and crash. Oh another crash. Snap, I just crashed my crash. Paid cash to crash. One time it didn't crash, it just spun the wait icon for a long time then erred out claiming it could not do anything with the zip file. Next time, instead of extension purchases, just say "click here to give us money". At least then folks will know exactly what's going on.

Quick and easy. I use it to transfer files from my laptop to iPad it's quick and easy,works well no problems yet.

Keep Hope Alive. I downloaded this app in the hope that somehow I could get back what was lost in an old version of iTunes - the ability to transfer files to and from my PC. It is not user friendly the way iTunes was. I will keep fooling with it in the hope that I will find a way to make it work.

Usable app. The app is very functional and easy to use. I didn't give it 5 because you cannot edit files, but otherwise it does what it is expected to do.

Quite handy. I found this app to be quite useful. It acts as a file store that will hold any file, not just those that can normally be transferred via iTunes. It previews most file types, allowing documents to be read in full, images displayed, and audio played. It gives the option to open files in the appropriate app as well assuming an app is available. It can even send files via email. I really don't understand the low scores given by many people, but they either didn't read the description of the app before installing it, or didn't bother to read the very simple instructions that are included as a document within the file list inside the app. Honestly people, learn to RTFM before claiming something doesn't work. If the app was password protected or was able to lock files or folders with a password I would be extra happy with it. Using this on an iPad, the advertising, while large, doesn't get in the way of things. After all, this is a free file storage app, not an editing app, so screen real estate isn't at a premium.

Terrible con. Not a flash drive. Have to download app and pay for it. No info on app. No information on paying for app. The app doesn’t work like a normal app

a bit unstable. I like this app, but it is undependable with large PDF files. It seems like it can't take the load. The app crashes regularly upon loading a large file (28MB), which is rather frustrating. This does not happen with the iPod (4th gen. 32GB) version! And the iPad (iPad2 3G 64GB) is a much more robust device. Go figure. Still good for lots of other stuff, but I have found Stanza to be far more stable with large PDFs on my iPad.

Me too application.... I may be missing something, but this doesn't do what I thought it did -- i.e. allow me to use the iPad as a USB storage repository by plugging it into any Mac (not!!) -- like the old iPhones used to be. And what it does do has been done by other applications for a long time -- before iPad. I've had Air Sharing for a long time which does this stuff wirelessly AND with drag and drop into iTunes. It costs money but doesn't represent itself to do what it doesn't do. AND with Air Sharing I can wirelessly connect to ANY computer or MobileMe which I can't do with this one -- USB or no USB. So i'm having a real problem figuring out the value-added for this app and WHY it is "new art." It's a Wanne Be that isn't as good as other apps doing the same thing --- OR it needs better instructions so I can appreciate it's virtues better.

Mixed review. If this app had not nagged me to review it, despite having used it only a couple of time, you wouldn't be reading this. I have no complaints so far, except I resent being told I've been using something "for some time" when I've merely *had* it for some time. More as I get around to actually using the app.

Works like a charm!. I needed to load some large PDF files in my iPad to review them, and this app helped me do it. All you have to do is drag n drop in iTunes. Read the manual that USB Disk provides, it's simple.

Handy app. Good collection of options. Great app to access documents and read with ease.

Very Useful App. Found this app very useful. Jump through a few hoops to get dropbox functionality and you'll be set! Works well with PDF, word documents etc and sound files. Only complaint is a few crash issues, mostly pertaining to large (>10mb) PDFs. Will probably improve with future updates.

GREaaaaaaat. The only App that can open .zip Files and may be create them. Fun to "Open in" from another app; give time to see your Files there in "Local Files" or try "Show hidden files" ON in Settings for the App to work smoothly afterward, like any other apps does.

DONT BUY :(. I'm not happy with this app. It's lost its way. Also in the settings page the settings text is not in English so i cant understand it. This app needs some mega features added. I really dont recomend it till they uodate and fix the problems and add features.....

Bug in Safari. Great app, but I found that when this app is installed and you view webpages that have flash content, Safari tries to open the .swf file with this USB app. This is annoying because it doesn't let me view the page at all but instead I get a popup that says: "open in USB disk". (Safari for iPad). Please fix.

When will it allow odt files?. I have used this app for a while. I use basic spreadsheets. I have stored some data in odt format but USB disc does not recognize this type of file.

Not quite like iBook. I was hoping I could scroll the pages of my files, just like I do on iBook . This is just a basic USB app but it does it's work and I will give it a four star!

Great Application. I am a university student and I've used this application to preload all my lecture and tutorial slides and arrange them into folders for each subject and week!!! Only problem is some slides won't load, when the power points are pptm or documents are docm they won't work!!! And some slides load but some words can't be seen or don't fit on slides!!

mate, failure. since the last update the app crashes within seconds of opening when my ipad is offline (no 3g). Only works when there is a wifi.

Call me. This latest update has caused lots of problems. I can't delete files, I can rarely create a new folder. I'm often offered the opportunity to reset the app, which I do, but it makes no difference. Nor does closing and opening again. This was a really good app, and I was getting ready to buy the paid verion but will have to wait and see if this improves first.

Not that great. Worked great the first time. I've been able to save one document from Pages and now it won't save any more. Tried every which way, but no go. Dissapointed :(

Best combination with dropbox. Works very well with dropbox, and this is the only way to attach something to your email. A default that apple has to solve ASAP. Few crashes though.

Doesn't work. Just installed the zip extension, which doesn't work. The zip folder to be opened is nested five or six levels down. Once found, and the folder is opened, it allows you to pick only the top doc. One cannot move down and choose another...

Free app but can't get free extensions. The app is free in iTunes today. They advertize that the extensions are also free but there doens't seem to be a way to get them without downloading other software to get 'ducats'.

USB Storage. Excellent App! Allow you to save any file to the iPad. What I haven't been able to figure out how to do is: 1. Search the file you are viewing 2. View files by type, size, date modified Other than that I recommend this app for anyone that want to store info that they don't want to always turn on their computer for.

Useless. There is no way to transfer files from iPad to computer with this app. Cannot move files from applications such as PDFs or ebooks to a computer for backup.

USB. Very useful application. I use it almost everyday. However it crashes very frequently ( the free version)
