Helps fix art lean. It was tedious to take pictures of my drawings and manually flip them to see if there is any leaning on them. With this device, I am able to fix my drawings while simultaneously checking my flip camera without all that time consuming mess.

👍🏻. Pretty cool concept. It’s helped me to take better selfies or at least more predictable ones. Wish it had features similar to the built in camera such as a timer and where volume buttons can be used to take pictures, but other than that I like it.

Great. Without this you may go through your entire life without knowing what you really look like. Look at a mirror image of prez Lincoln. Looks weird to us but it's how he saw himself everyday.

Doesn’t Always Work. So annoyed because I finally found an app that shows what your selfie looks like before taking it, but when you hit the photo button it only takes it every now and then. One time for me it took the same picture 16 times. I literally had 16 of the same photos in my camera roll. so stupid.

Comes in handy (-:. It is rarely a case to forget their handbags with their pocket mirrors for girls. Thus, when it happens, it's the worst possible moment. This app comes very handy to help.

Why aren't I photogenic?. Because you made yourself up or combed your hair while looking at a mirror image. This is an inverted or flipped image of what you see in photos of yourself, which is what people really see when they look at you. I'd been combing my hair the wrong way for years until I used True Visage. Now, what I see when I get ready is what I see in photos taken of me, or video. No more surprises, and I can make sure I look my best in photos and to other people. Highly recommend this app!

It's weird but nice!. It's weird to see your picture or your face with the things around you in the right places, instead of the opposite. I thought I would see a very different kind of how I look like to other people than what I always see myself in an ordinary mirror, but I don't think that there's a big difference on how you look at yourself in the mirror than in a true mirror. I'm just glad that I still look like myself! Lol!😄 It's nice to see though yourself in the right places, and not confuse where your right" or your "left" in the pics or mirror!

It’s helped me a lot. Since painfully discovering that apps like Snapchat reverse your photos, I’ve been using True Visage to see what I really look like. Of course in real life you’re going to look a bit different since this is done on a phone BUT you can at least see how your features look normally. If it wasn’t for this app I wouldn’t have been able to correct my uneven eyebrows or part my hair in a flattering way.

Works as advertised!. I have always wanted an app that unmirrors the front camera as it is pointless to really make ourself look presentable if it's not how people actual see us! Great app!

see yourself how others see you. this is exactly what i was looking for! i wanted a “true” mirror. one that shows my image flipped. just the way other people see me. the native camera can only flip the image after i take the picture but the image in the viewfinder is like a traditional mirror which is not what i wanted. thanks so much for this!

Does what Apple should have. The only reason I did not give this app five stars is that it does not record video, or work in landscape mode. However, it takes much more accurate selfies with the front camera by allowing you to see exactly how it will come out rather than flipping it after the fact or mirroring you in the final picture. I use this almost exclusively for selfies. I just wish they would consider adding the video and landscape mode features

Great app. This feature should be in every smartphone and tablet! It just works. Don’t believe any negative reviews. Most are cooks!

Great and simple. Only one thing lacking. Love this app. Autofocus is good. You can switch between front and back cams. Absolutely great for using as a webcam with quick time on Mac or as a second camera on zoom. But I would pay extra to be able to switch between the two (or in some cases, three) rear cameras. I’d also pay for ability to adjust focus and exposure manually.

Flip the cam with a tap. Nice app! I use this to apply makeup symmetrically on my not-so-symmetrical face. In practice this can get frustrating, so I’m sending feedback hoping for a few more features that would get five stars from me. One easy idea: add an optional line down the middle so we can see if we’re aligned correctly. Another way to do this: transparently overlay both mirrored images so we can see in real-time how everything lines up when flipped. Maybe draw each side slightly shaded in two different colors so we can tell which one is which. Right now, how I use this app involves tapping the mirror button on and off, which gets frustrating when the button disappears. A strobe feature with a timing slider (flip every half second, one second, etc.) would be AWESOME. Then I could just set myself up and not move!!! Great job on the app so far, and I wouldn’t be requesting this unless I thought the coder was this capable (from looking at their other apps). Thanks for everything!

Well conceived, and accurate, too!. The last thing a performer needs, prior to entering the stage, is a final look at his/her appearance. Having this little mirror makes it easy to take care of that task with ease. Thanks for this necessary accoutrement in such a smart package.

Very good camera app. I use it to take selfies because when I use the normal camera app on my phone it always comes out ugly but I could get the right angle and I like to see what people see what they see me as lol 😂😂😂😂

This is not the app. This app makes u look like u fatter then how u see your self in the camera. So in other words it does not show what u look like. See, if u look at your self in the mirror you might not see what I actually look like but it doesn’t add weight like this app.

This is the best true mirror on App Store. Stop looking.. Hands off the best true mirror app on App Store. It is free and there is no intrusive ads. It loads quick and does not crash.

More than is immediately obvious. The most obvious use of this app is as a mirror. You get your choice of the geometry of a glass mirror, or the geometry of an external observer's view, where your right ear will be on their left. But it's a mirror, and like real mirrors, it doesn't take photos, or video clips, or sing your favorite disco songs. Well actually, it will take a photo and add it to your camera roll, if there's information in the current view you'd like to refer to later. But wait — there's more! You can use the front camera or the rear one, turn on your iPhone's flash or not, and stretch the image to see a closeup with good resolution. That flexibility allows you to use the app to read the teeny-tiny serial number on a poorly-lit piece of equipment, for instance — a job which would otherwise require a flashlight, a magnifying glass, and three hands. Save the image to the camera roll, and transcribe the identifiers later, or mail the photo to the vendor's tech support person. This developer makes well-designed, useful tools to solve real problems gracefully. I've bought 5 of them, and find them all useful — frequently, or rarely. When I need their particular function, I'm glad that I've got them.

Freezing on an iPhone 14 Pro. Installed the app and was using the camera through my HDMI port to my TV but every so often randomly it would freeze, sometimes and 30 seconds and other times in 30 minutes it was never consistent. Please resolve that one issue and it will be perfect, thank you

Landscape No Longer Working?. Great app, but doesn’t seem to be registering in landscape anymore. Advise?

needs a little fix. i got this app a while ago and i’ve never been more satisfied ever since. but for some reason, the app can’t adjust to certain exposures anymore. i’m confused; it used to do that before now it doesn’t. that really needs to be fixed. i could barely see what i even look like when i’m out in the sun and all i see is white since it hasn’t adjusted to the exposure... and never will apparently.

Great App, Want Manual Focus. Great app, but I wish it could also be set for manual focus only by tapping an area of the video, rather than auto focus. Using this to stream video to a computer for live-streams and the auto focus can cause the image to briefly blur. Otherwise this app is amazing, no on screen icons which is perfect.

Limited useless. This needs to have a freeze or pause so you can look directly at the camera and then truly be able to use this as a mirror. If you look at the camera, you can't see the screen (except peripheral vision). If you look at the screen, it shows what you look like looking down. I suppose the iPad camera would work better. Time to uninstall this app.

Great! But it’ll be better with.... I love the app, it does its job! But it would be way better if the user could focus on the face and edit the photo in-app. I want to focus myself to take light away from my face but I can’t. Other than that, it’s great 👍🏻

Simple but great!. Use this all the time for putting on makeup & for taking photos that don't surprise me when I snap them. No annoying ads, unlike another one I tried.

Weird bug with app switcher. If you open the app switcher while it's running, you'll get this weird bug like the old Internet Explorer versions where everything is duplicated really fast and the UI elements go all crazy...other than that, the app isn't that bad...

Not even one star. Do NOT download this app. It’s fake and a created image by the phone. it takes everything and reverses it and is not a true image. Anything created by technology is not a true image. This app made me think about jumping off a cliff. Please don’t download for your own sake.

iPhone 12 Pro - uses only zoom lens. Why the idiot developer use telephoto lens and not the regular lens for iPhone 12 Pro? I can’t change the different lens on the iPhone 12 Pro. Gave 3 stars since the idiot monkey developer had a good idea to make such app.

Neat app, but would like vertical flip also. I was looking for an app that would allow me to view my upside-down water meter. I was hopeful this app would do it, but it doesn’t because it only flips horizontally. Please consider adding an option to flip vertical also.

This app saved my life. I hate when I use my camera as a mirror and then when I take the picture it comes out horrible and reversed and looks stupid, even as a guy this app is a lifesaver!! I nominate this app for the most useful on the App Store!

The best mirror app by far!. While other mirror apps can only reflect your image like a mirror does, this app enables you to see yourself the way other people do. You could pay $200 for a true mirror, as they are called, or get this app for free. What makes this app truly great, even revolutionary, is that if you have to apply makeup or trim your nose hair or do anything else to your face, this makes it completely easy. In regular mirror apps, you run into the same difficulties you do with a real mirror: try to move your hand left, and it goes right in the mirror and makes it really hard to do anything. But this app provides the perfect solution. Bravo!

Annoying shutter button. I wish it was easier to click the photo taking button? I want to take faster pics and it’s so slow and in an awkward spot. Can you not just put a button in the middle like Snapchat… and show us previews of the photo as it saves into our camera roll

Mirror therapy. Excellent app! I am using it instead of two mirrors joined at a 45 degree angle to reverse a patients facial image as part of their treatment for neuropathic facial pain. Mirror therapy was first used to treat phantom limb pain.Thanks

Really cool. I don't think people understand how cool this app is. It basically shows you a "true reflection" of yourself and therefore you can view yourself exactly how other people see you (something a normal mirror doesn't do). The forward facing camera on the iphone 4 works just as a mirror would in real time which is why the picture flips after you take the shot. This app allows you to see, in real time, how other people see you and shows you a new perspective of yourself. I suppose normal webcams automatically do what this app does and I've never understood why the forward facing camera on the iPhone acts more like a mirror than a camera...

Works exactly as advertised. This is the best mirroring "mirror" app I've found yet. No advertising apart from a non-intrusive section where the dev showcases his other apps. Handy little tool for those curious about how they look to others!

Pretty Great. It does exactly what a mirror app should you click on it and you can see your self...nothing really to it just a mirror but it does everything it should...plus it's free!

Does what it says- which isn't much!. It's the same as your face camera would see, and, contrary to the developer's statement, it IS the same as looking in the mirror. Free is too much to pay for this app. I rate it less than one star!
