Update needs some work. Loved this app, but the update is really buggy. App crashes, audio gets cut off at the end. Please rework this.

Sadly, it doesn't measure up. I had hoped for easy to use tool for dictation and for making short audio clips, but it is in my opinion hard to use and still has many bugs. Maybe the developer gave up since they have not provided any updates in over a year.

No Longer Works After iOS 7 Upgrade. I upgraded my iPhone 5 to iOS7 on Saturday. Now, whenever I attempt to record something the app crashes. Hopefully an upgrade will be available soon to correct this problem.

Great sound! By Mr 07077. This is a great free app ! Very sensitive mic will pick up all back ground sounds. Great for recording at meetings And lectures ! Very clear sound ! I love it !!

Recording stops when phone sleeps. I really liked this app before iOS 7 came out. After iOS 7 the app kept crashing, then that was fixed. Now it doesn't crash anymore but once the phone goes to sleep the app stops recording. Can you fix that?

I just wasted $3!!! Try to save yours.. Just bought the upgrade to be able to record different file file types only to find out that it only records ip to 5 minutes of audio and it was asking me to cough up another $3 to get rid of that limitation. I wish the most terrible karma to the creators of this junk.

Excellent app. Quick download, easy to use and making adjustments are easy as well. I use this app to get Gods word out to the listening area and this allows me to be mobile, at home or in the sanctuary.

does exactly what I want. This does exactly what I want and does it very well. I had the same issue others have complained of. The app would quit when making a new recording. This happened after I changed the audio format. I changed it back to the default WAV/PCM 22 kHz 16 bits and it works fine. It's the BEST app available for emailing yourself voice memos.

never fails to record. quality of recordings amazing. auto start recording with no beep, invaluable. yes, it can be a bit tricky to export recordings, but at least you know your recordings are there. no crashes, been using for 3 years.

Exactly what I wanted. I wanted an app that I could make voice recordings and listen to on a Windows machine, and this does exactly that. It works perfectly, the recorded quality is very high! I hope this application is maintained, because it is increasingly useful to me.

e-mail ability NON-FUNCTIONAL. really, no stars. just keeps asking if i want to change settings (before sending a message), i say yes, and returns yet AGAIN to the home screen. even manually changing settings and trying AGAIN to send an outgoing gets you the same ol' dreaded dialog. so looka here: if u enjoy frustration or being STUCK in endless loops, try this app…

Just downloaded it. The app refuses to open on iOS 6 iPods

The app keeps cutting off!!. Whether you're trying to record something or edit the settings on the audio input, it always cuts off on you and you end up back to the screen page.

Unlimited recording. I recorded 4 hours and then I bought the app works great.

Record and go. I frequently have to record voice prompts for the phone system at work. I record using RecordPad, email the wav file to myself, then convert the file format on my PC using Switch Sound Converter from the same company. The sound quality is better than what I get with the PC microphone. The only addition I wish for is the abiloty to save as 8 bit wav using the CCITT mU-law codec. Then I wouldn't need to run files through Switch. Add that, and I'll pay for this. Oh yeah, It's also great for recording meetings or memos. I like that it's so easy to email the files.

My GoTo Recorder. I have at least six “recording apps” on my iPhone 8, but it’s RecordPad that I always open when I’m in the field and realize I need to capture some sounds. It’s the fastest app — least delay between opening to actually recording

Great but.... Record quality is great it's very handy but when I try to send it to myself the app returns to the record screen. If the compony fixes it or some won tells me how to fix it I will rate 5 stars.

Crashes on iTouch4. Good, but I have found that it crashes whenever I change to recording as mp3 it crashes and have to delete and reinstall app to repair.

Needs more options. I can record sounds ok but cannot send to my email. I don't know what FTP is or how to use it so email is the only option to send and save for me. Without the ability to send by email this is totally useless.

Does not play when downloaded. After downloading the only thing this app was good for was seeing Ads.

MP3 setting causes app to crash. This is a major nuisance because WAV/GSM is really poor quality and AIFF uses too much data. MP3 would be best compromise, but it causes the app to crash every time after the iPhone is restarted. If you set the app to record when app is started it has to be removed and reinstalled. I'd be happy to pay for the app if they could fix this annoyance.

App does not work. After downloading the app I recorded a simple voice recording to test it out. That worked ok. The when I next needed to use the app again, nothing. You can record 1 file and 1 file only. No support either. I have purchased other software from your company which has had problems. I really think you need to get your act together. I feel my company won't be supporting you in the future. Oh and your report a problem does not work either.

Needs work. Worked fine in Wav format - changed to mp3 and it crashed. Continued to crash and would not restart. Had to uninstall, doubt I will re-install

Perfect. Exactly what I was looking for, a recording app with the ability to adjust levels and be able to send anything to my pc for further adjustment. Also being able to record multiple tracks other than 1 (from previous experiences) is a good thing, perfect!

Won. Was hoping that it would record while having a conversation on the iphone. but it won't it sits in "waiting" mode

Excelent app. Works!

Good App. Recent update causes it to go only to the 'NCH Software' screen and then it just quits. If I download again it works for a couple of times, but the suddenly just quits again. Very disappointing.
