Best Beat Maker Ever! But Needs Some Work . . .. This game is a must have for anyone who has some rhythm and enjoys good music and beats. For those of you who just can't understand how to work this app. It's EXTREMELY simple if u would just watch the short tutorial video! It is a must have for sure! I use every day and lol sometimes I even put it to music on my itouch by playing a song and makin a beat along with it :p Future update: It would be nice if the free version would hold maybe like 1 to 3 beats that can be saved. Once in awhile I have an AMAZING beat but I can't save it :( That is the hook of getting people to spend 5 dollars for the pro but really ALL i want is to save stuff and I don't know if 5 dollars is worth it actually.

Perfect for Hip Hop Beatz and Electro. This App is Perfect for making your own hip-hop and electronica beats. I love all the drum kits it offers. Only thing is I wish that it would be able to integrate more than one of the drum set to make a song. maybe if you purchase the App you are would be allowed to do so??? Other than that sounds great, love the bass on some kits. The Bass hits pretty hard, or thumps real well, and some of the basses string out for that long bass drop sound!!! I have made some sweet songs using this app! Worth the download...

This is a must have for beginners!. This is, by far, the BEST drum machine app I have come across. And even the free version is fun and user friendly. It takes a little practice to get the hang of but a very easy interface with support when you need it. What I like, besides the app itself, is that you can share your creations and listen to what others are making.

Genre selection is a must for serious musicians. I love the app, the variety of beats and custom sounds. I find that it's easier to create my own beats and fills when I practice guitar, but at the same time when I'm in a crunch I need a quick beat, preferably fresh with someone else's creativity. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy using this app and I don't really have any other issues. If this review is read by the developer(s), hopefully they think about it. Great idea guys! Keep it up!

Wow. After a 30 minute trial, I didn't even think twice about paying 5 bucks for a year. You won't either. Probably the easiest, most intuitive, highest quality drum sequencer I've ever used.

No stereo panning?. Layout is awesome and ease of use is amazing, but even on the pro trial version, I can't pan the individual drum pieces. That's a giant drawback and separates this app from the pros in my opinion. Fix this and I'd buy the full version for sure.

Language..REALLY!?. Can’t use this. Offended by the track titles and can’t use with children…not getting my money.

Interface is Clunky and Poorly Labeled. and ill-formatted for screens that aren’t 12… even though it’s fully capable of stretching along the X axis. just not the Y axis. it’s a fine app but the technical limitations interfere heavily with its ease of use.

Close to great.... Love the ui...but I can only sample through the built in mic...would love to sample from another synth app. Also the wave editing is too simplistic...just shortening a sample causes an abrupt clicking noise due to no fade editing.

It's alright. It's a decent app to play around with if u just wanna have fun but for as far as music creation as a producer don't wast your time. It's nothing like musicstudio or beatmaker 2 where u have control over your sounds and samples. With beatmaker 2 it's like having an MPC on your idevice and allows you to do everything u can do on the MPC plus some. And with music studio you can edit mix and record just like u can in adobe audition, reasons, pro tools and so on with 127 tracks and it also allows u to record vocals and ad effects and so on. So if your just wanting to have fun check it out but if your looking for a full blown recording studio and beat making apps that a professional producer would use go get beatmaker 2 and musicstudio. It's like having all your equipment in your pocket and every where u go.

So far so good. With only a cursory knowledge of drum machines (I use the Akai xr20), I was making beats immediately. Intuitive app with the features I need to keep the inspiration going while I'm riding the subway. One of the biggest features is that you can easily IMPORT YOUR OWN SOUNDS OMG!!! This is a feature I've struggled to find in something besides an Akai MPC which is expensive and hard to use. Phat beats with my own acoustic guitar finally came together and I couldn't be more psyched YAS QUEEN!!!

Great app!. I bought this without realizing there is new version of this. I don’t even regret that mistake this is very useful and fun to play with.

Nice!!. Love the app and easy to use, however I am having an issue when it comes to recording my own samples. When I play it back no audio is heard. How can I fix this?

Easy Beats is a fun little beat-making app with a clean, organized UI and provides users with a straightforward platform for creating some pretty dope little instrumentals. Invest 30 minutes into this app and you'll be well on your way to becoming the next Metro Boomin'! Definitely recommend to those looking for a user-friendly app without the complex, high learning curve pretentiousness oozing from some of the more expensive, hipster beat-making apps available today.

Free version is nice but worth the cost for a subscription. I’ve had this app for a week, and I’m hella satisfied. The tutorial was nice, but I decided to go online, and look at beat patterns are made. I incorporated that into this app, and I’m having a lot of fun. You won’t be disappointed. This app is amazing.I gave the UI a 8.5 out of 10 for the iPhone. Obviously, the screen is small so somethings are hit or miss but overall the UI on the phone is pretty friendly. I’m almost 100% sure navigation is even better on an iPad.

If you want to use your own sounds, this isn’t it.. “Easily import your own sounds.” This is not an option in this app. It does not exist.

A really great starting option. This app is fantastic. I’m getting into beat and music making in general and this app gave me my start. Very capable, usable, and clear. Especially for beginners - it’s easy to learn.

Tempo?. This could be an amazing app, but there is no way to change the FREAKING TEMPO! If there is, for the life of me I can't find it. This is a MAJOR flaw. How do you expect soneone to use a drum machine without the ability to change tempos?

I hated this game. This game is stupid if you want a beat maker get DPM it’s much better and there are more songs to choose from this is child’s play compared to DPM

Why did I buy all of that other stuff?. I have a Korg Kaoss Pad KP3 and Roland SP-555 Sequencer but 95% of the time I just use this app because of the ease of use. This is the only app I have ever paid to get the full version and I am 1,000% satisfied with it especially since you can change the steps to odd time signatures. Not everyone does 4 on the floor dance music!

Good app to learn. Good app to start out on, without going pro you can still do a lot. Except export your saved files.

I need help I bought the app but I don’t get the futures.. I bought the app way back in 2010 dec 8 when it first came out. Since then they’ve changed the look by crazy and added more stuff but I just re downloaded it and I can’t use it like I used too. It saying I need to buy more stuff or whatever to do WHAT I USED TO DO WHEN I FIRST BOUGHT IT. Idk how much I spent but dam you can’t sell the app and add more stuff and now charge more to people who already bought it for a flat rate. It’s grandfathered in. Everyone after tho can pay. Smh I need help someone

Wondering about sustainability. Developer Still Around?. This is a very clean, useful and user friendly app. Visually, it’s quite stunning which is apparently no easy feat (so many fantastic apps look like crap!) I’m looking at the subscription option here and comparing it to the other paid app from the same dev (Easybeats 3 I believe it is). I’d rather not purchase both but might - they’re both priced extremely well - appreciate that! My concern is that it doesn’t look like there’s been an update for 2 years. Perhaps it just hasn’t required much but most of the apps I end up using the most are the ones that are being updated fairly frequently and the devs are looking for new things they can add to improve. I guess that’s really my only knock though. It’s a beautiful app and I’m sure the other one is as well. Just hope it sticks around and we see the dev pop in!

You will definitely notice the time and effort that was expended to create this app. This app is very easy to use and it has more features than many full-size computer programs that I've used. Creating a beat with this app is almost too simple. If you love to play around with music like I do, then you'll love this app. I give this app 5 stars, an "A+", two thumbs up... and major props. The creators of this app deserve some type of award... great effort with great results! I definitely recommend downloading this app.

Wont leave demo mode. App just runs a demo you can never leave. Total junk

Looooovvvve it!!. I played with it about 5 times and then decided to pay the $5 for the full version. I use it all the time! I like that you can still be playing a song in your music gallery and play the beats! It's fun to add in my own beats. Also I like that you can use your voice recorder while playing with the beats so that's how you can save it without the full version. :) I love this app!!!

Nothing free. If you make a beat it changes the entire rhythm nothing you can do about it. Can’t make custom beats

Easy to use, no ads. Just wanted a simple drumkit to use while practicing piano, this fits the bill. I like how the tutorial message hovers over dual purpose buttons, and that it has both pads and sequencer. The best part is not getting your beat interrupted by 30 second ads.

Super simple, super effective. This app is pretty rad. I like that I can immediately open it and program a short loop in seconds. If you're a musician who likes to be able to add drum machine accompaniment quickly this app is great. The pads trigger with very, very little (if any) noticeable delay, even on my old 3G, which is the best part to me. I have the fruity loops fl studio app too and it's great for more in depth stuff, but if I need a quick beat I'll use this.

Hmmm. It’s early. All my beats come out about 1/10 early than what I actually did with metronome

locks you out of features & demands subscription. This is a bit much. The app seemed great but after a while (maybe a week?) it locks you out of a bunch of features and won't open them again unless you pay a 12 month subscription fee? Seems a bit shady, I can understand paying to unlock features but not to get them back and not for a limited time. There is another EasyBeats app that isn't free and costs twice as much as the yearly subscription to get the features back (or maybe you have to buy back each feature separately) but either way I think I'll steer clear in case they decide to hold those features hostage a year or week later too. A very confusing and unnerving business model.

No sound from metronome.. I've used this app on an iPod touch and no problems. Now using it on my IPhone I can't seem to get sound from the metronome. Anyone?

What's the point?. The slider to adjust the tempo is too sensitive to actually get the tempo you want.

IT IS EASY. This app is very cool and easy to use for people from beginner to experts. Before you listen to anyone's review of EasyBeats use it for yourself and see how sweet it is. I have even used Garage Band and I still think this is better, but it all depends on what your wanting to use it for. One thing that could be added is the ability to simply record a sound onto the phone and or use sounds from your phone and edit them into the pads. I just can't figure out how to add a hook to the beats.

Unbelievable. Don't get the title wrong, it's a good app, and I enjoyed using it while I was able to use all of it. I believe I had bought it for 6$ way back in 2015? And I could use it and all it's functions up until a week ago when it said my trial expired? I thought I had bought a full app, not a membership to use an app partially. I'm not sure when this changed or if it was like this for 2 years but it was very surprising. And for 12$ I won't be renewing a membership to use what I had bought already.

Ok for breaks. Having produced electronic music for years on various programs and hardware, for a free app this is decent for producing some minimal break beats while sitting around with the iPhone and maybe recording them into a program later if you do something any good. Otherwise it's fun to play around on. Worth the download considering it's free!. It is just beats though nothing else, no synths or pads etc etc.

Wish I got Easy Beats 3!. This is amazingly addictive! Paid for the 12month pass then noticed the other "pro" version (Easy beats 3)DOH.... I wish I got that instead cause I can't turn this app off! Great app- add more beats!. I love this app! Would have given it 5 stars if I could do 3/4 and 6/8. I use it with my string students as a metronome for etudes- way more fun with a great beat in the background! Please add other rhythms- I'll pay for them... Well, 99 cents anyway.

A drummer at heart. This app isn't to bad. I like the cowbell sound. If you want to kill some time making some drum noises, then this is an ok app for that. Don't plan to drop your first album using this as your background music though. Fun, but not pro.

Great App for the novice or pro!!. Dang!! This is an unusually good drum app! Even has pitch shift! I'm impressed with its EXTENSIVE editing features and how quick you can create patterns and build a song. I'm a pro musician/songwriter and was looking for an iPhone drum app good enough to compose drafts while I'm traveling. GREAT JOB programmers!! I'll have to see if you have a version for the PC.

Hard to use program, making beats is easy. It's an okay app just not user friendly. I try to continue a sequence and it doesn't let me. Just able to repeat the same beat over and over. Can't figure out how to use. Even with the video help. Other then that it's fine.

This app is awesome. I like to be able to sequence detailed beets to record demos with, with the looping you can program out a whole songs worth of beats with varied fills and different parts. A wee learning curve but easy to do fun stuff right away, and the help videos were good

Soundcloud support for 3 pleaseeee. This demo is pretty amazing. Except for some bad sound quality (either a bug or because of demo) this is pretty good software. I will buy the full if it gets soundcloud support, and I might just get it anyways. Pleasseeeee

Great game, good music tool. 5 star game, 4 star music tool, but the simple fact that it's even comparable to actual mobile drum DAWs really says something impressive about it's depth

Buzz/Roll for Snare. I was thinking about an option for the snare drum. I was using the app today, great app by the way, and I wanted to do a buzz roll but I couldn't. So I decided to ask you if you could somehow put that option in there, perhaps on the tab side. It could be labeled "Musical Effects".

Fix it. It's good but the b long (the one at the top right) doesn't work for all headphones cause it doesn't work on the iPod with out headphones and with some new headphones I bought

This app saved my life. Only for some reason I can't edit the sounds that are in a pad anymore that's what made this app great to me

No metronome in this release.. Previous Free 1.2 version metronome enabled. (5 Stars) Metronome has been disabled in the Demo 1.3 current version. :( However, you can manually arrange your beats if needed. :) Still, one of the few Free/Demo drum seqs that will let you record on the fly. (Harder without metronome) :\ Overall good, and I am sure Pro is the way to go. In short, forego 1.2 to 1.3 upgrade if you want to keep your metronome, otherwise have limited free fun with it. iPhone 4

Zero talent = Tons of fun!!. Really fun app to discover. There are things I wish I could do and probably can, just don't know how yet... going to watch the videos and get really good so I can quit my day job!!! ...or create some fun background music for daughters videos...

Not bad. There are a lot of these programs out there now, but I will say that this one has a nice feel to it and is easy to learn. My only problem is that the large grid screen is a little hard to mix on. You will hit the wrong box (like 3 or 4 times) beacuse they are so small. fix that and I'd almost be willing to buy the paid version.

Great app. This app is great and fun. When I'm bored I can create an awesome beat within minutes, which is a great way to pass time. The only downside is that the metronome cuts out occasionally. Overall, the app is easy to use (it takes a bit of time to figure out at first without using tutorials). Also, I've used some other apps to make beats and this is by far the best. Great app.

Don't waste time with the free one, just buy it. I have a lot of different beats to pratice to with my guitar. I just plug my iPod into an extra amp and crank the volume. Unlike an actual drummer, this thing doesn't skip beats... unless you want it to. I also find myself making little tunes when I get bored. I love the sample importing. I can use anything I want in music I make.

Tired of the copywrite. I was so tired of Facebook deleting my post because the beats were copyritten. So I downloaded this app to make my own beats to my vids. Glad I did!!

I love this app. This app is amazing. I have tried other drum/beat apps and this app surpasses all of them. It is so easy. I love how you can fine tune the velocity of how hard each pad is hit. Deff upgrading so I can save!

Great for "on the fly". I use this app on my phone to create beats while busking on the street with a guitar. Hook the phone up to a bass amp and rock. I can go in a million directions knowing that this app is reliable and user friendly. Solid timbre in each sound available.

Exactly what I was looking for. Simple drum beats that are great quality without being ridiculous or too distinctive, works especially well for music like Chvrches, Dan Croll etc.

Best Music App. Period.. I was wanting an app to where I could make my own beats and this blew my mind. The only downside is that you can't save your beats with the lite version and I would definetly recommend the deluxe version if you are serious about your beats like me. Awesome app.

Straightforward and useful. I’ve had this app on my various devices for over a year now. While I rarely ever use any of the sounds/beats I produce with this app, it’s always be a reliable scratchpad for beat ideas. I haven’t had many experiences with crashes and for the most part it works the way that you think. It’s my go-to beat app when I’m just trying to get simple ideas down and don’t have my iPad (with DM-1) or laptop. Kudos to the developer.

Great sounds and easy to use. This app has been very useful as a songwriting tool. It serves as a metronome and helps me find the feel of the songs I'm writing. It's also a good tool for distracting upset children, which I have to frequently do at my job (: Overall it's a great app and I'm considering buying the full version.

Eh, could be a lot better. Does not have a triplet grid.... Also, the pitch automation is really shifty and hard to program. Would like to see some sort of snapping grid system for pitch automation. 12 steps up, 12 steps down type of thing. Besides that tho. 100%. Really hoping they fix/add these features for easybeats 4. <3 u HU

The app is okay. The app should have you pay upfront instead of making you pay 3 bucks every year. I had fun the 30 mins I could play which is okay but I'd pay for a 4 dollar app instead of having to pay 3 every year.
