Love the app. This makes the iPhone / iPod a full fledged computer. This app is so easy to use for storing the documents on the iPhone other wise impossible to be kept on the phone. Well designed with lots of features like ftp server and wifi access.

Very good!. Easy to use and does what you need it to. I can easily transfer PDF files from my pc in seconds using a regular browser, and the file is then available to read directly from the app. There appears to be much more that I haven't looked at yet, such as Dropbox integration, etc. All this, and I'm using it on an iPad gen 1! No compatibility issues :)

Crashing. I thought it'd be good the first few seconds and it eventually transferred something, but then crashed immediately after and I had to keep going back into the app and resetting the settings to try again.

older iPad useful again. I have an original iPad mini, and so many apps no longer support iOS 9 that it's usefulness was waning. This app though lets me transfer movies and books so I can still use it for long trips. Thank you!

Amazing. That's all I have to say. It's a wifi flash drive. --EDIT-- Something they should add to it is the ability to plug it in via usb and instantly have it like a normal flash drive. It's okay that it doesn't, but it would be pretty cool if you could do that.

No Luck with iPhone 6 9.2 is. Tried downloading a small test pic from my computer to my phone and it would never connect. Might be an OS issue, I'm not sure.

After one use. Had this app for a minute unused, then I found software for my MacBook Pro on my iPhone 6 plus. Downloaded file to this app, then AirDrop into the Mac! Amazing!

Google has withdrawn support, Dropbox issue. I went to check my settings for a presentation I'm doing tonight and found no response on the Dropbox tab, and Google giving me an error because the only Oauth requests it will accept are from browsers (this is something new...)

Wifi HD > Opendoor. All Opendoor does is crash and freezes alongside with a lot of keyboard and copy bugs. This, THIS IS MAGIC! I can use Safari and go on whatever website i want (school blocks certain sites like games). A MUST DOWNLOAD

Solid App. Pretty good app considering it's free and the transfer times are good....meaning it doesn't take forever for larger files

Doesn't always let u delete files. Just tried the app nice and simple but it doesn't alway let u delete the files from ur phone. It just closes.

Nice but delete doesn't always work. Took a while to find out how to delete WiFi HD transferred files from the iPod. Swipe your finger along the file name and a red delete button will come up. Sometimes the file will delete successfully, other times the app just quits without deleting the file.

Crashed. Do not download.

Does as stated, delete is buggy. Terrific app, but delete from web browser is a bit buggy. Workaround is to remove everything after and including [DEL] and click the go button on web browser. Easier to delete from iPhone... Touch and drag to show Delete button, then touch Delete button. Definitely a "keeper" :)

Terrible App. App crashes while uploading a file... It's a shame..... I'm running iOS 5.1 on iPhone 4S.

Stability would be nice. App ran til I attempted to send files from 2 pc's and 2 browsers. App would close and wasn't able to transfer anything. Re-opening app didn't help nor did restart of iPhone.

Currently buggy in os4.1. This seems to crash on upload in os4.1 on itouch 4g. Be aware.

Cant delete files.... It works for me. But cant delete the files from iphone. In my right click popup window there is no delete option.

Not entirely useful. Works, but crashes at random points and viewing files uploaded is difficult if not impossible, continues to crash as I attempt to delete a file from it. There are better free apps to do re same thing better

Client could not connect to this app’s server. I frequently use my client to connect to my own FTP servers, but this app’s server was unreachable, probably because there’s no port. I should be able to specify.

Unreliable. Great when it works, but its many bugs make it very annoying. Swipe right to delete a file, and it deletes the file immediately before instead! Upload an html file, and it will ignore it. And now, I'm stuck in a mode in which any file upload crashes it. Sometimes the web interface will pretend that you haven times it is too buggy to use. If you swipe right to delete a file, it sometimes deletes the wrong file!

Nothing more.. As it says, this application lets you down/upload files through a browser from/to your iPhone/iPod Touch, so both, your computer and the device must be connected to the same wi-fi network. You can see what files you have uploaded in your iPod, but you can't do anything else with them. In the browser, you can download and upload the files (one at a time) and create folders, but you can not move the uploaded files. The app uses its own files structure, so you can not open the files you upload to the iPod with other applications (something annoying that has become the norm with this little toys)

Ew. If you want instructions on how to use just go to the paid version and look at the comments. You are supposed to go to the URL posted at the bottom of the app screen an upload a file. Go to th website on your computer, upload a file. However thats as far as i get because IT DOESNT EVEN WORK! :@:@:@

Very basic, but ok.. It does a very basic job. But it does work. No problems with my iPod touch 2nd ten and my XP pc.

Doesn't work!!. You can connect via PC, but as for transferring any type of data, this app does not work. Everytime you try and transfer simple files, the app crashes. Then you are urged to by full feature app. Not going to spend money on an app that does not do as it claims.

Excellent tool. I regularly, start my day off getting organized, this is an excellent tool for me to move files for meetings off my PC to my iPad.

Instructions. *You need a Wi-Fi connection* *The port entered has to be forwarded on the routeur.* 1. Use a computer that is connected on the same connection and open any browser (I suggest Internet Explorer, but if it doesn't work try it with an other one) 2. Enter the IP adress in the adress bar of the browser. 3. Upload!! P.S. To delete, it's on the Apple device. Click on what you want to delete, and drag right. And then click om delete. Very useful app!

Nice idea but has bugs. Attempting to save documents from email results in two copies made, one of which cannot be deleted from your iPhone device ever, and which remains visible and readable to anyone accessing your Wifi shared drive. Do not ever use this to share a file that you don't want to be made permanently public... Large attachments could also fill up your remaining space.

Now what?. Transferred a file to my iPhone as described. File shows up on the iPhone. Go to open it on the phone and nothing happens. As far as I'm concerned, app does not work. I ended up deleting it. Not going to pay for something that won't operate.

Great App. I am always in and out of meetings where I have to give presentations and transfer sensitive information. I do not have to carry around a flash drive and risk the chance of forgetting or losing it. I have used it to transfer all types and sizes of files without any issues.

Just Bad. I see now why people are giving this a 1 star rating. First of all, connecting to my iPhone 3G (with OS 3.0) was a breeze - type the address shown at the bottom of the screen exactly, and you're in. However, once there, I created a new folder, since many of the reviews have stated that this was required/recommended, since deleting files from /Home caused the app to crash. After creating the folder, I clicked on it, and was shown an empty directory. The location showed I was in /Home/NewFolder. I uploaded a file to this location...and that's when the problems started. The file actually uploaded to /Home, even though (in Safari) I was shown as viewing the /Home/NewFolder directory! Bad juju. Also, bad app - no biscuit. If you can't even upload a test file to the directory you're viewing, there's something wrong. Avoid this app, or use at your own risk. You've been warned.

Very cool. Don't listen to the bad reviews. This app works great and exactly the way the instructions tell you. All you need is a wifi connection and an Internet browser. Don't know why so many people can't figure that out.

Saved my bacon!. I had this app on my phone forever but never had a use for it, until today when I was at school and realized I forgot my external HD, our Internet at school is too slow to send my huge file via email or a web file sending site, so I ran the app- logged onto the URL (in my phone!) and amazingly it worked without issue from the schools firewall. I uploaded the file to it, an then right-clicked save-as to verify it worked. IT WORKED!! Love this app, thank you!

Great app. Great app for simple file transfers. For all of those 1-star raters who can't even use it, just open your web browser (on a computer) to the URL on the bottom and upload/download files to it. As a techie, I found it extremely easy to use.. might not be true for those who haven't figured out that it's a mini web server. Docking a star because you can only upload one file at a time, if multiple files can be uploaded, I'll give it five stars.

Great app, very easy to use.. This is a very useful app, makes file sharing a snap. One note though: create folders in the parent directory to store files in, do not transfer files directly in the parent directory, there seems to be a bug that prevents you from deleting them. Other than that, I love this app.

Works, free.. I used to use a similar app called Discover but that stopped working with iOS 4 and has not been updated. This app is essentially the same, also free, and works with iOS 4.2.1 on my iPhone 4. I can't imagine why other people are reporting crashes and other issues. No problems for me, and I've used it regularly for months. Maybe they're using jailbroken devices?

Complete Waste of Time. It does not work on the Itouch 2Gen with 3.0. All it does is show the files but you cannot look at them, play them, etc. You can delete them. Whatever that means? And their is no support or instructions through the Savy Soda websight. I don't mind paying for something that really works but I would not buy anything from this Savy Soda if there is no support.

Works great!. This is a very useful, and simple app. Think of it as a wireless disk. Just like a USB drive. You run this app, then launch your pc browser and type in the URL shown on your iPhone. Then you can move files to your iPhone from your Mac or pc. It's that simple. Once you move stuff to your iPhone, you can later pull them off, with any other device.

Very cool app. This is a very useful application especially for someone in IT. This one is a must have. Only Con I have noticed is it would be nice if you could password protect the data so while the service is active not just anyone could access the data.

App closes when deleting some files.. App closes when trying to delete some files. When you open app again file remains and close again while trying to delete file (same cycle over and over again). Fix this problem and it'd be worth buying. It'd be even better if it could run while closed so you can do other things at the same time.

A few bugs... But does work for file storage. Don't expect too much with this app in it's current state. Has a lot of room for improvement. Web page is loaded with bugs. Also when deleting from the phone it's tricky to get the delete button to appear. Retrieval of office 2007 Excel files from phone are renamed from *.xlsx to *.zip. You have to rename back to *.xlsx Webpage can get confused and still tries to issue old commands for filename to upload... These are just to name a few... I look forward to updated versions because this is a great idea for an app. Also, don't let your iPhone go to sleep mode while uploading or downloading Still not bad for a free app...

Cool, simple idea that works. Not sure what all the negative ratings are about. Works fine with iPod touch 5g. I've noticed that certain apps crash when too many apps are running at the same time. Perhaps this is one, I don't recall. In any case, close a few apps and it works fine.

Auto enable drains battery. This app automatically enables wifi upon opening the app. And starts draining your battery. Needs an update so manually enable or disable, or at least have an option to set for auto enable/disable on startup. If I open the app just to check which files I have on it, I should not have to always have to remember to disable wifi HD before I close it.

Works halfway. kk so i followed the instructions and i got all excited when i was able to see the name of the doc on my ipod but then nothing's there. I see a name on my device but when i tap on it and stuff nothing happens. i try holding on it and doing anything i can but nothing works. Its just a label

Amazing App! Finally something that works BETTER than promised!. First, if you don't understand or can't figure out how to operate this app, you might want to consider buying one of those yellow ".... For Dummies!" books. This app is outstanding. IMHO you should charge for this. And no, I'm not an employee.

This is NICE!. Granted, it looks little bare when you open it. But start clicking around...you'll find the ip address you have to put in URL blank on your browser, and without having to download any other software on your pc, you're able wirelessly transfer your files to your iPhone without iTunes. I was confused a little at first, but I stopped, took deep breathes, and figured it out. Much obliged to the person who thought up this app. Thank you very much.

Once you figure it out, it's great!. The only reason this isn't five stars is because there was no indication on the app regarding how to delete files. Had to dig into the reviews to find out that you need to swipe your finger across the file name to bring up the delete option. Other than that it's great. My PC doesn't have frontside USB so this is a lot easier than digging behind my computer to plug in a thumb drive.

Almost Perfect.... This free verison is great, the only thing is ad sponsored which I can live with it comparing to the full verison. You can unlimited size, unlimited file. What do you expect? However, I did find something to be addressed. First, you cannot open a file after transfer. In other words, it is a straight file storage application. Second, It is about deleting. I found out by emailing the developer and was told you have to accomplish deletion by the do the following (""You can delete the files from iPhone "slide left file name and click delete". ) Overall, this application is great, I would give it a 5 star, but needs a little improvement on letting people know how to delete!

No idea what these other people saying that this app does not work I have used this for quite a long time and it works great for when I need to get a file or view something realy quick for class or i got to type something up. what I would like to see is if some sort of Bluetooth intergration could be put in so you could transfer files directly from iPod to my mac.

It's a jump drive. Too many of you are making this thing too hard to use. Example 1, I'm at my friends house and he has a song on his pc that I want to put on my jump drive but I didn't bring it with me, use this APP. Type in the URL on his pc, find the song and hit submit. Take your I whatever home and do the same thing and download it to your pc. Very easy.

I know how it works. Have the app on in your iphone and the page on your computer so turn off then the wifi hd on your iphone then turn it on and then upload.

Suggestions. Good app, does what it says but I have 2 suggestions, 1. Allow file transfer through the USB port too so it doubles as a regular USB drive. That was is you're working on a computer that's connected to the Internet not through wi fi(like at me school) or just not connected you can still transfer files 2. Allows you to specify the type of file that it's saved as such as a microsoft word document

Keeps crashing!?. In the Shared Folder menu the Sharing Enabled button doesn't work when switched on. You have to turn it on in the WiFi menu. Why are there 2 buttons that perform the same function? The sharing automatically turns off when you leave the app even for a second. Having to turn this on every time you start the app is tedious. The app is crashing every time I try view anything uploaded to it.

Strike a star... This is a great idea, but the execution is poor. Whenever I try to delete a folder, the app crashes; when I try to upload a file > 100kb, the app crashes.

Not worth my $0.00. I got this app hoping to quickly be able to transfer files. When in the browser, I have to try over and over to create a folder. When uploading files the app just crashed (yes, every time), and even IF it didn't (not "When" it didn't), you can only upload them one at a time, so no multiples or folders. This app wouldn't be worth it unless IT payed YOU. Try it if you like, but it's one thing I won't be seeing on MY home screen.

Does what it says. I'm happy with it. Great for transfering files from computer to computer in another office. And the delete option is there. You just have to slide on the file name and it asks if you want to delete. Great program

Its networking. Your ipod acts like a server you can access from a computer. Your dhcp server gives you an ip address. You access the ipod by entering the protocol, ip, and port in an internet browser. You have access to your virtual hdd and can manipulate files and directories. Simple. But the makers of this app should explain how to access it and why.

Perfect for Free. I downloaded this app at a friend's house, and within a few seconds, I had a thumb drive out of thin air for free. But how do you get files onto a computer? I right clicked, selected save link, and it started to download my files but never finished. But my files were few hundred megabyte videos and my connection is pretty bad. I ended up connecting my iPod to my PC and used iPhone Explorer to get the app's files off. For free, this thing is perfect, but as a paid app, I'd want a slightly better UI.

Finally figured it out!. Like most people here, I was quite fustrated with how to properly use this app. Frankly the instructions are quite useless, so I will provide one that will be much easier. 1.) Download app to phone (Obviously). 2.) Open app and it will provide you with an IP address, 192.2.etc, etc, etc 3.) Copy that IP address, open an internet browser (anyone stated in the instructions [Firefox, Safari, etc] and paste the IP address in the URL bar). - Once pasted, this will give you the access to use your iPhone as a wireless hard drive-type device. 4.) Transfer files to-and-from computer to iPhone.

Works exactly as expected. A lot of people write saying this app crashes every time they start a transfer. The solution is simple, you have to first create a folder to save the file into. You can't save it in the home folder. Once you create the folder the program works perfectly.

Very Usefull, needs a better interface however.. I like this app, it allows me to keep necessary files on hand where I am able to get to them over a wifi connection. To those that are crying about not being able to delete files, simply stroke left over the file name and a delete button shall appear. Granted, I did discover this on accident, it would still be useful if it was stated in the description. (same works on folders as well.) If they improve the interface i'll give it the full 5 stars.

Works Great Except.... The app needs more user feedback. Tried to upload a large file to my iPod and could not tell how much was transferred. There should be a STATUS LINE to keep the user informed how the file transfer is proceeding. Add that and it will be a 5 star app. And the app does crash randomly. Original review: Works like an external hard drive except via wifi and not USB. It requires a web browser for uploading and downloading files. It works great with my iPod 4G! Now I can use my iPod like a large drive. Was able to upload a 2.3MB PDF file, JPGs and text files with no problem.

Crash Crash Crash. Program crashes on just about every operation. Add a file? CRASH Delete a file? CRASH Blink too fast? CRASH Also turned the apostrophe in my iPhone's name into gibberish. Ditto the apostrophe in a file name. Even knowing the "swipe to delete" method, I wasn't able to delete the only file i successfully uploaded to my phone. Had to delete the program to gid rid of the file (and at that, with all the trouble I had, I still don't entirely trust that it's gone). I wouldn't reinstall this if you paid me to.
