Documents. This app is great for what I like to save and add documents and photos to my records I keep. And it’s kind of easy to edit them and to save in different formats. This app is great for developing documents and editing them. Have had this app for several years now and have had no problems with it. Great Document app

Just the best. Great document management tool. Wish it had the ability to search within a document but otherwise perfect. Spent the money on the paid version not because I needed the extra features but because I wanted the thank the creators for a great product.

Perfect in every way. Secure - password/code protected. Easy to use. I store all my logins, passcodes, important documents, such as DD-214, powers of attorney, medication lists, in Documents. Goes where I go so I have all my important information with me at all times. Safely and securely stored. Easy to backup too.

Love this App!!!!. I love to keep memos and love that this app keeps my documents alphabetized. No matter how many phones I’ve gone through, it has saved every file accurately, and I love that I can make it accessible only with a password which secures my private information if someone is using my phone.

Paid Version?. Yes, it is worth it. If you’ve been using the free version, you probably wouldn’t take a lot of things to make that app your most versatile Notepad. The paid version does all those things (and more) while apparently having zero problems. Seamless and compatible with every other text using app I've tried with it.

Glitch report. While the documents app is very reliable and versatile, I am very upset at one glitch it seems to have. Whenever I try to change the font or font size the whole entire panel for it takes up the entire space of the screen making it impossible to even save my work or anything else. There is no done button to make it go away and it is a very large hindrance.

So far so great!. “Love the spreadsheet function! Better than all I’ve tried including Excel. Recognizes spoken phone numbers and automatically formats!” That’s interesting 🤔 The above was already filled in. I had no idea it does that. Good to know, I guess. I’ve tried the three top rated stitch programs and this one definitely beats the others. It automatically senses groups of screenshots and either seamlessly stitches them or lets you know there’s not enough overlap and directs you to retake the shots. It even automatically detects your old groups ( swipe left) to see them). The only problem is that it doesn’t allow you to stitch things that don’t have enough overlap. I hope they add that functionality as retaking old screenshots would be insane to attempt. Highly recommended. Go ahead and buy it the ads are annoying and your going to want full functionality and to support the developers.

Invaluable. I use Documents to store photos, videos, pdf documents and Word documents. I store medical documents, too. You can “lock” documents/folders as well, for extra security. Do not know what I would do without it! Easy to use, and the ability to store various types of materials in easy to create folders is invaluable.

I LOVE "DOCUMENTS". I have all my recipes in DOCUMENTS and when children, friends and neighbors want a recipe it is so easy to send. They are also easy to find. I have about 10 file folders for different things, ie: meats, deserts, vegetables and so on. Also use for other files, health, and so on. Love the ease of using a picture on my iPad on a document and then adding the recipe, pattern for knotting, crocheting, crafts and so on. Still love it 2 years later have 8 Gigs in files and sub files :-)

Best app for docs.. Good app! Easy to use! I've being using it since couple of years and is excellent. You need to learn a little bit about documents savings but once you got it you'll never want to change it!

Life goes more easier. As simple as it is, easy to manage, and Guaranteed for document preservation, I have been using Documents for decade now and I don’t find it easy to use other apps for my write-ups and storage. I got glued to it. I love it. Could you please enable the changing of color of a sentence? Thanks

Perfect for all documents. Have used basic for a few years. Decided I used it too much and bought the app. I keep recipes, important document info that I need to take with me. Can use to write and email, spreadsheets etc. Love it!!

Problem with Selecting the Font in “Documents”. “I have really liked Documents, but grew weary of dealing with all the ads that kept popping up on my original Version of Documents. My computer-savvy friend recently upgraded my iPad and iPhone to the ‘Documents’ version with No Ads. It’s much easier to use, with ONE exception. When I’m in the specific Document I’m trying to make changes in, I run into a new problem when I try to change the Font. Normally, a little box displaying the Font Selection appears in the lower left corner of the Document, and you just select your choice of Fonts. But now, I end up losing the Document page I was on, replaced by a blank page with the Font choices taking up the entire Screen. Consequently, there’s no way to go back to your original Document page, as you can’t exit out of this blank page with the Font Selections. It’s otherwise been a great Version, but this “glitch” or “bug” has really caused continuous problems for me, I’m sorry to say”.

One of the best notes apps out there.. Have been using the version with adds for a while now and decided to go ahead and remove all the adds. Am very impressed with the layout and ease of use of both apps and honestly for the price removing the adds is well worth it!

I use It everyday!. I use Documents for writing letters, copied material and important information. I have approximately 700 letters on my document, and I just keep adding to it. I truly recommend it. The only problem I have found is that there is no way to back up documents. Most backups are for pictures. However, this is not Documents fault

Documents. I have used this app for about 4 months and transferred many of my recipes to it so I can take them with me on my iPad when I travel. I love that I can save to the cloud too, so my recipes can be brought up on my phone too. Excellent app that would be useful for anyone. I save my recipes in PDF format, email it to myself and then open in Documents.

Perfect app for my needs. As a self-employed person I use Documents to store individual files related to each job. It’s perfect for that and all of my expenses and other information for each job is right at my fingertips, recallable whenever I need it. Thanks!

Error with Font format Popup. Error with text format (font / and color selection) ver 14.1 Iphone 11 Ios 14.5.1. When select Font format, popup menu takes full screen, cannot deactivate popup menu and cannot go back to document.

Great app! Worth 5 Stars. As the author of twenty short stories and novelettes, I’ve used a variety of word processing programs and smartphone apps. I’ve found this app to be the easiest and most flexible for sharing a story in a simple format that can be effortlessly read on most devices. Highly recommend this app.

I love this app!. I’ve been using Documents for years and I love it. I have many crochet patterns PDF’s that I’ve purchased from different craft apps. Each of those apps store my patterns in my library, but with Documents I can store all of my patterns together in one place.

Documents is a very useful app. Documents is an app where all types of files can be kept. I have used it for songs of my favorite artist. It is perfect for recipes and articles I want to keep on my phone. I would not want to do without it.

My favorite doc program. I use this program all the time. It never has failed me . As long as you guys keep up the good work I will continue to recommend your product.

Enjoy. The ability to take minutes at meetings and transferring information without problems to any other document is easy. I truly enjoy the his function. There is no need to have my laptop with me and my work is made easier. A great app indeed.

Ads and infinite loop. Every time I open a file it has a full screen ad. I tried to share something to a Dropbox account and it wanted access- I clicked cancel- the window kept prompting me to open Dropbox- it would not cancel- I even tried to shut down the phone but couldn’t because of the pop up window. I finally clicked open and then denied access- again it kept prompting for access- I was able to restart my phone- what the….

Great app. I have been using it for a couple of years and have had no issues with it at all! Updates have all improved the ability to use it even better. Very easy to use. Highly recommend

Great App. I’ve been using this app for a few years now and it has never failed me. I work in anesthesia and keep a lot of notes. I literally have thousands of hours of jotting down anesthesia related content. This has been a winner for me and for anyone who loves Microsoft word.

Please fix the paid for App!. After the last update every time I save a document all text regardless of its original color turns to black. I have used this app for years and I have several hundred documents. Anytime I open an old document make any changes and saveAll of the red text And all of the blue text turns black. Please fix this the last update messed this up. I paid for this app and would pay for another update if it were fixed.

Documents App. Malek Eloukaili. I have been using this office App on my iPhone for the last decade till to date. It has saved me the headache of papers and files. I run with it all my office and excels efficiently and very smoothly. I do encourage on using it as a mini office document app.

Great app. I've been using Documents for the past two years and it's made my work and daily life a lot easier. I create and send documents, spreadsheets and also store PDFs for reading later. It's definitely a nifty app worth having. 👍

Very Usefull. I work with a variety of files from all machines and have been using Apple’s Files folder for transferring files from a thumb drive to my iPhone. Documents is one app I find indispensable and use it more all the time.

The Best. I’ve been using Documents for years now, it is my filling cabinet for all my important E papers, it is the one major reason I back up my iPad. There is nothing better out there so stop looking and start filling, and of course you can us it to write documents as well if you going to write a paper or a book or something.

A breath of fresh of air... I am pretty good figuring out technology but when you want ONE place to save documents to potentially use on the fly, this is the APP I turn to. All else is too complicated for me. I even save mp3 files and glad I do with all the changes occurring with iTunes lately. Easy—intuitive—convenient. Thank you for creating a straightforward and user-friendly tool to use every day.

longterm User for a few years now. Love this app sometimes the setup can be a little confusing but it’s extremely reliable and it’s been around for a while. One scary defect is the possibility of losing your documents if you switch or lose your phone. Using your iCloud Backup may help precent this so if you don’t want your documents lost be extremely vigilant and careful how you save it in the app itself. Save it to the cloud not your iPhone. .Also the upgrades on all the Apple Apps are not always distinguishable and confuses us.

Attention. If you are editing a file, you have to go to ‘File’ at top left corner and hit ‘Save’ to save. And when you do, it closes the file and returns you back to the document menu. If you screenshot you phone before saving, you’ll lose all your editing. App needs a separate ‘Done’ button to save and also needs to retain your editing upon screenshots as long as the app itself is not closed

This comes from experience when I say this!. I have been using the “Documents App” for about three years now, so this comes from experience when I say this. I am definitely impressed and grateful for its efficient and effective design. I use it for both personal and business letters, as well as any other documents I may need. The main function I use it for is writing a book, using each document as a separate chapter. It may not be full proof, but over time it has become incredibly smooth to use the vocal function, making things extremely easy and fast. I really lucked out when I found this wonderful app.

Needs improvement. There was a version of documents that came on my iPad that seemed like it had a lot of potential. As I was getting used to some of its functions and features. Then I noticed that there were certain things that could only be done on the “upgraded version” of the app. So I went ahead and purchased the “upgraded version”. Now I have two documents apps. One is the regular version and the other is documents plus. I then noticed that none of the documents carried over. So I then had to copy all of my files over manually. Now I do not know which is which when the menu comes up to add attachments to....lets say....emails, because all that comes up on the display is “documents” so I do not know if the older version is safe to erase. There is also the question of why there’s a small phone icon on the bottom of the documents page that i can’t click on and a cloud icon on my iPhone that i can’t click on? There’s a bunch of things that aren’t explained and when I go to the “more help” tab in the app, it directs me to a page that is no longer there. I then write the makers and I got a reply of “we will look into that” months ago so I’ve given up hope. I kind of regret purchasing this app now. Hopefully it does improve. It is positioned to be great since it does come preinstalled on Apple products already. Let’s see! But for now, I’m pretty frustrated.

Easy Peasy way to keep docs. I love the ability to simply download documents on my iPhone using Files for reference when traveling and assisting clients. Much easier and quicker than pulling out printed materials or a lap top.

I love this app. For being a free app, I truly love this one. It is very user friendly and I am able to use my iPad like I would my laptop. It has a word document and a spreadsheet function that works well for me. I have not had any issues with saving items that I want to keep with me at all time. I can even use this on my iPhone.

Great app!. I have been using this app for years. I have Numbers and Pages but you go to this app instead. Easy to use and has most of the functions I need for my documents and spreadsheets. It keeps everything in one place and easy to find and access. I would highly recommend this app!!

Perfect For All Things Documents!. I needed an app to replace an app that was being discontinued in the next update. Luck brought me to this app! It’s easy to share documents between your electronics and your Google Drive, and it’s great for notation or creating a basic presentation. I’ve used it for years and I love it!

Why I like documents.. I like document’s because it is the easiest place for me to store documents that I refer to often or even that I utilize only occasionally or once a year. Easy to move, easy to delete when no longer useful.

Nice basic screen-reader accessible word processor, just what I’m looking for!. I’ve been using documents on both my phone and tablet for a couple years now. I’ve tried other word processors and either they don’t work with voiceover or they have too many bells and whistles which make them extremely complicated to use. Therefore, I find myself landing right back on using documents.

It does the work for you!. I am not a techie and have a non user friendly smart phone & beginnings of osteoarthritis making typing growing more challenging and different; requiring utmost accurate and simplicity while not losing any of the features necessary for home or office duties, even fun. Giving several obstacles to tackle all at once, I wasn’t certain until trying this app as to how successful it would be. It’s assuredly, the most sensible, orderly and complete document application & more out there. It’s genuinely five (5) star worthy. This is the very fist time I have decided to rate an app. I feel for anyone struggling. Go for it!

Great Tools. I’ve been using this app for year- it’s been so long I don’t even know when I down loaded. It’s been so useful for so many purposes. Personal and business. It to use. Basically use friendly. Check out the spread sheet - quick to use. I highly recommend this app.

No more stacks Post-It’s or cheat sheets. I’m a physician, and beginning in Residency l’d carry around a collection of hand-written notes with critical information I needed to keep on hand. Then invested some time to type it all up into Word files. Began using Documents for more than 20 years to organize the files into folders (such as heat, lung, kidney) which at first I uploaded to a PDA and keep in my pocket. This evolved into having the Documents app on my mobile device. Now I have several hundred files with up-to-date information to share with my colleges and patients. Documents has played a significant role in my medical career of over 30 years!

Lost ability to add notes(edit) PDF Files. I use this app a lot for PDF files. Before the last update I was able to add notes to the PDFs. Now all edit capabilities seem to be gone. I paid for this app several years ago and it has been useful, up until now. Please add these features back..

Can’t distinguish between the two versions. Documents Plus or Pro should be named that. The little plus sign on the app logo is so minuscule you almost need a microscope to see it. Making it a nuisance when opening the free one accidentally instead, since both apps have the same. I would have otherwise given 5 stars.

Great. Easy and efficient to creat and organize notes and files.

A clever idea in a limiting interface.. This program is pretty clever, in that you can move docs to and from your Google Docs account. However, here are some pretty hefty flaws in the interface design that makes this program have a lot of potential, but not much use at the moment: -The inability to move documents between folders. Where you create it, thats where it will stay. -The inability to choose which folder to put docs downloaded from GDocs. Makes it very hard to keep all those files organised... -In spreadsheets, you can only view text as large as the default cell size. The cell does not automatically resize to fit text, nor can you do so manually. -There are no font/format/copy/paste/send to email options in the document view. Only a cursor and some white space. Some of these functions are available in the spreadsheet view. -The inability to view comments on cells in spreadsheets. -The need to retype your password every time when attempting to sync. So, in general, this program is quite clever, but some compromises need to be made so as not to become completely frustrated ten minutes after buying it. With the above issues repaired, Documents will become an indispensible tool to any iPhone user in need of document editing and viewing.

Jim Leahy. I use Documents a lot for my music and other things and I find it dose exactly what I want allowing me to file in folders and move around information as I need . Only thing I often find annoying is that you have to save the documents every time you open one even if you don't edit it. Overall its an good product and allows you increase font size very easily which suits when eye sight not as good as it epused to be

Great App Would be brilliant and would get 5 stars if it had autosave Even switchable in settings would be nice if its not as default If you accidentally leave and its set up as in log in password mode, all work is lost! Also a reverse and forward do again and undo would complement auto save A history of saves so you can go back would be great too Keep up the great work!

Waste of money. The app does not work. I cannot download documents into it. I’ve tried EPub and PDF. Nothing opens. I’ve tried the shared folder with sharing on but still it has errors. I’m very concerned because I’ve just paid out $7.99 and when I go to the support button it takes me to an insecure site with ‘page not found’. Even from within the app if I go to my browser, it still cannot download anything. I’m very disappointed at the moment.

Update causes documents to close. After the update, documents crashes and restarts after only a few seconds most annoying and now can’t use any of the documents I’ve got stored in that app. Fix ASAP please?

Savy soda documents. I have used documents and every update gets better and better great app for I-pad or I-phone one of the first apps I downloaded and am very glad. I did.

Useless. Makes out you can edit documents you have in your phone, it doesn’t, it’s a glorified file folder, I have adobe for that! Give me back my $5!

Nice App. There are a number of smallish bugs that would be nice to have tidied up, been there forever. Being able to sort files by date or alpha would be a nice feature to have. Larger scrolling mine for moving files would be MUCH easier, it appears to have been made for phones and too compact for iPads. If you tell me this is all going to be looked after, I’d gladly pay you. Even with these few issues outstanding it remains the best way to manage your data in the iOS environment. Being able to assign apps to run files by their extensions would be nice. Not sure where you’re coming up with the current choices, but they’re mostly wrong and don’t function well. —- Looks like they’re out of business. No support.

How do you edit without hyperlinks. Could not believe there are no hyperlinks to display the docs in proper form so you can edit properly. Can't believe I spent $2.99 on this. If I could go get my money back with my baseball bat I would!

Waste of money. This app will not open text documents downloaded from Dropbox to my iPad. Total waste of money.

I love this multi tasking app!. I spent a lot of time looking for an affordable app that offers the host of capabilities that Documents offers users. I use it for a wide variety of tasks, from organizing the huge volume of info required for each monthly board meeting to simple tasks assigned by my wife, to effective storage of notes, measurements, shopping lists and other info critical to DIY projects. Using Documents, I can go to my board meetings paperless, my wife can update the Honey Do list anytime and I can print out a summary for each and every DIY project I take on. They constantly keep making improvements to the app. Try it; I assure you, you will love it too!

Puts words on the screen - exactly what I need.. This straightforward app delivers the goods: uncluttered, easy to use and (so far, for me) bug free. Four stars instead of five because whenever I save to Dropbox, it tries to change the file name on me. Otherwise, great. I used the free version for a couple of years. While it would still meet my needs, I bought just to support development of decent apps.

Not Happy. I Paid for this upgrade to stop the myriad commercial intrusions. After which a different Documents app installed and scattered my files all over the place without their individual folders for organization. I’ve tried to uninstall the app and go backwards to the simpler app, but am still inundated with commercials that I was trying to remove. So they got my money and left me with an intrusive app…. Good tool for writing.. I use documents regularly and would recommend Documents as a simple and stable tool for any type of writing.

Pretty good App for stationery. You can control the background color and font color and it is pretty nice for letters you want to look good. You just have to get the hang of naming or saving as; saving, sharing, and also not losing a file: Don’t type in an old file that you don’t want to lose. Just open up a new file and pick your colors again. There aren’t that many but I like them very much!

All my files on the go. Documents allows me to function as if I am in my office on the go. Time and frustration saver. Thanks to documents I can save or review my files no matter where I am.

Docs in a Jiffy. Documents is easy to use, quick, and compatible with all my Words docs. There aren’t many apps easy to use on the Ipad but this one is a gem.

Closes a lot. I upgraded to the full version thinking it wouldn't just close the app but it still does it. It keeps saying it is unable to save. Then to make it worst, if you open the file from one of your iCloud device and reopen it from your iPhone or iPad it changes the file extension. It works good only if using it in either iPad or iPhone.

Great App. Documents is my go to app for most of my files on my iPhone. I love that it allows me to save and have access to my files on the go without a computer.

Documents. I’ve been using Documents for several years now, and it has worked well for me. The biggest negative is that I have it on my iPhone 8 and my fat fingers don’t type well on such a small keyboard.

Nothing really new. This app doesn’t provide anything new. They imply that it can edit word documents, but it can’t. I tried the trial app, but it appeared I couldn’t edit any of my documents without purchasing the paid version. Well, the paid version can’t edit them either. It’s a bit of a waste.

Documents review. I use the Documents app on my cell phone pretty much the way I use documents on my desktop computer. I know where to look if I know I have filed something there.

Gwood15. Amazing app works very well. Does what they say it will! I create pdfs of things That are important on my computer and then load them into Documents on my phone so I always have them ready.

Documents. This is nice, as I can do applications and go back to them and work on them later on. They keep until I am done.

Documents always with me. It has been great having personal documents on my phone! I even transferred over EVERY recipe I have... very convenient when at the store and you can’t remember all the ingredients...

App is stuck. I’ve been using this productive App since my 1st iPhone 5, and I do love it. However, I encountered issue recently that the App got stuck randomly and I have to restart my iPhone, I’m not sure whether this is caused by iPhone 13Pro or the App itself?

This app saved me. I was struggling to find a universal app that would open everything regardless of the format. This app does the job.

Great free app, live it!. This app makes it fairly easy to write a document and print it all from my phone. Best part is I can cut and paste things I find on the internet that I was to print, like recipes. Took one star off because I feel it’s only downside is it’s hard to navigate the print option. This should be a super simple navigation but it is not. Hopefully they will fix that.

Never works- waste of money!!!. I’ve tried the free version and I’ve purchased the upgrade.. my documents never open. I always get sons error message thagg TV it can’t open this file. The reason I got this stupid app was to be able to open documents! I am now stuck with every document defaulting to this app to open documents..only it can’t ever open anything. I can’t get rid of this app! Don’t buy.

Great App for most file formats. This is great app that helped me manage all the different types of documents that I work with. Works well on the iPad with a keyboard too.

Great but... Great but sometimes I have to save a document twice before it shows up in the folder. Great app though. May just be my phone to be honest. It can be slow and glitchy so this may not be the apps fault at all.

Text Edit for iPhone. If you like using Text Edit on your Mac, you'll find this Documens very helpful. Easy to use with an uncluttered interface. Highly recommended.

Good app. Simple, effective no frills text editor. I use it as a cache to hold & save writing sessions, so when i move between apps, things dont get lost in the shuffle.

Disappointed. This app thinks rich text (.rtf) is plain text (.txt)and vice versa. Something as simple as changing a font you have to do a work around. I paid for the updated app thinking hopefully this would be corrected, it wasn’t. I never right bad reviews but this simple app is poorly put together and they trick you into the paid version which is just as bad.

Please update. I’ve been using this app for quite awhile across my devices. I’ve really been able to create, edit, and share documents quite easily. But now since the latest iOS update, when I select text and try to change the font size, the app crashes back to my home screen every time. Please update.
