Just do it. This platform is so easy to use. It literally does it all for you, except make your product! I was intimidated, nervous when I received my first order. But i was comforted in the easy and convenient process!

Hard to Use. Not seller friendly. Would be nice to have an option to copy listings to make everything faster

Awful Customer Service. I would leave 0 stars if I could. Awful customer service. Contacted them about the same issue more than 5 times with photos and all. Nobody cares. Business documents have been stuck on pending for months. Also when I fill out tax info it states successful and then cycles me back to the dashboard which then says I need to fill it out again. So much for encouraging small business to sell on your platform.

Love it. Love the Tim Tok Shop . It’s very easy to learn when you start your business.

Too many issues that should not be issues. There are too many products being denied for unexplained reasons. The app also creates violations that negatively affect your shop health with vague descriptions as to why you received a violation. Nor do they provide details on how to support your appeal of said violation. Although we ship extremely fast we sell perishable items which we prefer to ship on Mon-Wednesday/Thursday depending on package destination to avoid shipping delays and to ensure freshness, however the site makes you ship in 24 hours or you receive a violation.

manipulate you after 1 month. so at first the seller central program is great. lots of people in the lives and the algorithm is working well and sales are good. after one month the app starts to direct you to paying for promoted ads instead of helping your businesses like the first month. Its a trick for tiktok to make more money off you. I really had high hopes for the platform but it turns out i was wrong

TikTok will take over. Mark my words TikTok will take over ecommernce within the next 5 years this is the platform to be on if you sell products online

Can’t add products to shop. I signed up and waited for all the appropriate approval. My first product shows approved but the “add product to shop now” button is not working. Goes nowhere…

I Love It. I love the app! It’s easy to use. I can upload my products from anywhere & I always get notifications once I get a sale 😊!

Can’t link bank account. I am having a very hard time linking my bank information due to my name being wrong. Other than that it’s going good.

Pretty good.. Overall, I say the seller center is pretty good. I am having a little difficulty with it but I think that’s just because I’m new to it. Hopefully as I use it, it will get easier.

Not Seller Friendly. TikTok Shop is not seller friendly, I started using this because it was a lot cheaper than me using my own website that I closed down a few months ago. However the fact that you’ll be waiting for a month to get paid is ridiculous, people don’t read product descriptions then write negative reviews which causes unnecessary stress. You have to wait for a product to be approved, which I’ve never had to do since I run my own site. People put in incorrect addresses, which causes problems for the seller. I mean the list goes on, and it’s not far to us because we work so hard. The processing time should also be longer, but like previous reviews nothing will be done. After this month I’ll be moving back over to my own website.

Address don’t work. I have an iPhone 14 pro max. Everything is up to date. Every time I try to put in shipping/warehouse information it sends me to a white screen that says add address with a < and that’s it. Click on the < and you can either stay or leave. Stay and nothing happens and leave and loose everything. Sent in a ticket about a week ago no response.

Love it wish there was duplicate button to create listings. One awesome idea would be duplicate so we can duplicate a similar listing and not recreate

Product violation. I'm concerned about how violations are handled on your app. Recently, two of my product listings, which have been on TikTok Shop for two months and one of them has even made a sale, were suddenly removed without any prior warning. This abrupt action is perplexing. If proper oversight had been in place when I initially joined TikTok Shop, such issues could have been prevented, as my shop should not have been approved in the first place. Instead of addressing the issue with a clear email notification, you chose to remove my product abruptly. This approach is counterproductive. It would have been far more helpful to receive an email warning about the violations and an opportunity to resolve them within a specific timeframe. Rather, I received violation points and had my products removed without any prior notice or clear communication. Issuing violations with more detailed information would benefit both sellers and the platform by allowing for prompt resolution. The current lack of clarity forces sellers into a guessing game regarding the nature of the violation. I'm disappointed and frustrated with the customer service within TikTok Shop for sellers, as it appears to be poorly managed. I strongly urge you to improve your handling of violations and enhance communication with sellers. This situation demands swift attention.

TIK Tok Shop Deactivates With NO WARNING. There new policy is incredibly UNCLEAR. I received 50 “violations” after selling on the app for over 4 months. Ultimately my shop was taken off the platform and I’ve sent several tickets to get my shop back on the platform & NOBODY has gotten back to me. I’ve sold a lot on that platform so to be deactivated with no waking is blasphemy! I guess I’ll direct potentials customers to my site moving forward instead.

Unclear policies. The app itself is okay. It’s the policy’s put in place that’s crazy! I was really excited to open my shop, but after having my shop for only 24hours and listing a couple of items my shop was permanently closed. & I have no idea what I policy violated because it wasn’t made clear in the email I was sent. Nor did I receive any warning so I could attempt to correct whatever the issue was prior to my shop being closed. I didn’t even get the opportunity to utilize it. No sell, no views, nothing! I’m waiting on a response for a appeal but after reading the reviews, I’m not sure much will come of it. & At this point, even if i am lucky enough to get my shop back i honestly don’t even think I want to bother with it

Confusing how they monitor products. My products have been up for weeks and now their saying its not meeting “X” standards when I’ve definitely completed it. Other than that everything is pretty straightforward.

NEEDS UPDATE ASAP. The app isnt properly working. It may even has some bugs thats preventing it from working properly. Im trying to add my products but i cant do that unless i add my address. This is where the app isnt working properly, its not letting me add an address and keeps showing me a blank white screen. I have to exit out the page and retry but its keep doing the same thing.

Bad. If I can give zero stars I would I’ve never had an app ask me so many questions and for so much private information just to go shopping I deleted it immediately don’t waste ur time

Frustrating Verification Process and Flawed System. My experience with Tik Tok Shop has been exceedingly frustrating so far. The entire process seems to be handled by an automated system fraught with flaws, offering no option for personalized assistance or to speak with an actual representative. I have attempted to upload my U.S. driver's license over 20 times, but the system simply fails to verify me. It's discouraging and exhausting. I submitted three different inquiries, and all were closed with the same generic suggestion to "re-upload my ID". Following this advice has not remedied the issue. Moreover, I tried addressing the matter via email, but the response was equally unsatisfactory, advising me once more to "upload the ID again". It's ludicrous that, with all the technology available today, one can't receive real and effective help to resolve such basic issues. In conclusion, the lack of personalized assistance and a deficient verification system have turned my experience with Tik Tok Shop into a true ordeal. They urgently need to address and rectify these system flaws and enhance their customer service to provide real and effective solutions.

Best app. Best way to sell in my opinion very easy and fast and easy to use i love it

Violation points. Violation point are a bit too much ans honestly make me very scared. Please calm those down! And allow us to fix our mistakes . There’s a lot of rules I’m having to follow but ma a beginner seller so I need time to build my team! Please be patient with us we cannot get shipments out. In 3 days when we get a viral video .

Could be better. Shop has helped me get so many orders for my small business. However, the fact you have 3 days to get orders out is insane especially when products are handmade or you get a huge influx of orders. Other technical difficulties as well.

Need more options. I sell custom printed business cards and other items. Size, weight, variations.

Terrible app. The app is horrible. It’s no reason to have an app when it does the exact same thing as the browser. Besides that, my tik tok shop has been having an issue where I have been approved for Tik tok shop and even shipped orders off. However my tik tok shop does not show up on my page although it’s link so no one who is in my page is able to view my showcase. It’s been one month and customer service still hasn’t resolved my issue. They escalated it but the representatives keep asking you to do the same things. My issue is still current and no one at customer service has fixed it.

Slow updates. I love using the app however, it’s a little slow when adding products or updating changes can use improvement

Customer service, Support Seller Center. I’ve experienced exceptional customer service marked by their kindness and understanding of necessary protocols. Their explanations are geared toward ensuring legal compliance, which I completely appreciate. Moreover, they’ve worked diligently with me to resolve various product-related issues to ensure compliant standards are met. Which in return I have also shared the legalities on labeling compliance requirements, and they have taken the legalities under review.

Customer support. Worse experience I’ve ever dealt with support. They have pre written scripts and aren’t useful to the what I had a problem with and redirect you to a support ticket that doesn’t get resolved. Been dealing with this issue for more than a week and still haven’t made any progression.

Product violations. TikTok shop came to the USA market. They don’t allow you to resell American brands. You will get violations. The only things that you can sell without any violations are just Chinese products. What is the point of coming to the USA?

Feed back. It’s okay the only thing is kind of difficult is navigating trying to figure out and find out to to post your products

Really hard for sellers. They make it impossible for sellers to sell. Everything has a violation things get shut down without notice. It’s very difficult to work with this platform although it has a ton of potential and it seems like it could be really great.

Very satisfied. This is the most easy way to sell and ship I love it you got to do yours like this too thanks tic Tok.

Unclear rules. I sold over 2,000 units of my product in the first 2 weeks of being on TikTok shop, my product received a total of 138 reviews & averaged 4.4 stars out of 5, they then froze my product because they said “too many negative reviews” when I had a 4.4/5! And it keeps going up as well.. my overall NRR is .62% they say products will be frozen when it’s 1.69% or more which I never got close too! I sent in an appeal and they denied it. How is this right??!

Make more features available. That app is easy to use and navigate however; you can’t access all features such as promotions , coupons, affiliate marketing and the full features that are on the website .

Violations. Violations and help center are a total joke. I literally had my product approved and up for one day, next day my product was suspended and got a violation! This is so bad for a business! You lose so much customers when you’re practically doing everything right. I have no idea who makes this decisions behind but I’ve known a lot of small business that have decided to stop using tiktok shop because of how much stress they put you on. Functional, but requires some tweaks!. Adding ability to copy a listing and just change pictures and descriptions or anything else chosen, would be a time saver!

Worse app. I don’t normally write reviews but I have to take the time to review this app. I listed a total of 9 products which had to pass through a verification process before they are live in my shop. Each week I receive violations for a product or two. As a result I don’t want to add any more products as it’s a waste of time. I don’t have these problems on eBay, Etsy or amazon so I think it’s best I stay away from TikTok shop

Not seller friendly. This systems is stricter that Etsy and seller support equivalent to Spirt airlines. Run a perfect shop or get endless “ support tickets” with no actual support

Complaint. The app is rejecting so much products I barely see views on my products

Cannot login - bug. If logging in through email, it asks for a verification code. App does not send the code to the email. Login works fine on the computer (and sends the proper verification code), just the app has a bug and does not send the code.

Wrong measurement. Everytime I add a measurement it adds differently.

Not user-friendly, nor helping sellers.. TikTok shop needs to cater more to their small business sellers. Three days to ship is not sufficient for small businesses who are a one person show, offering handcrafted, made to order items. The guidelines and policies are not the best either. No wonder there are so many “horror stories” on the internet about TikTok shop from other sellers who have had nothing but bad experiences using it. Listen to your sellers complaints. There are tons of videos on TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, etc. expressing their reviews and feedback on how TikTok could improve this.

TikTok needs to fix several issues. Double charges, foreign overseas customer support. Customer support is terrible it’s all overseas and they all read from a script no real help. If you on chat with TikTok support and you don’t say anything for 60 seconds they close the chat but they disappear for ten minutes at a time and eventually they always say “we’ll submit a ticket for you”. Nothing is ever fixed. Example just today 10/1/23 using TikTok promote I paid $43.99 for “coins” and I was then charged an additional $89.99 which vanished and they have no record of. Now I’ve got to dispute it with discover. How can TikTok be so sloppy? I didn’t receive the credit for the over charge I was just mysteriously charged extra by TikTok after adding my credit card. Be careful using them. Sending violations for “unclear documentation” they use very vague language when you are violating some policy or they don’t use any language at all. I’ve read and reread policies backward and forward and it’s all still unresolved. Now I’m being charged for services not rendered
