Product violation. I'm concerned about how violations are handled on your app. Recently, two of my product listings, which have been on TikTok Shop for two months and one of them has even made a sale, were suddenly removed without any prior warning. This abrupt action is perplexing. If proper oversight had been in place when I initially joined TikTok Shop, such issues could have been prevented, as my shop should not have been approved in the first place. Instead of addressing the issue with a clear email notification, you chose to remove my product abruptly. This approach is counterproductive. It would have been far more helpful to receive an email warning about the violations and an opportunity to resolve them within a specific timeframe. Rather, I received violation points and had my products removed without any prior notice or clear communication. Issuing violations with more detailed information would benefit both sellers and the platform by allowing for prompt resolution. The current lack of clarity forces sellers into a guessing game regarding the nature of the violation. I'm disappointed and frustrated with the customer service within TikTok Shop for sellers, as it appears to be poorly managed. I strongly urge you to improve your handling of violations and enhance communication with sellers. This situation demands swift attention.

Refund without returning. Refund without returning is no fair! Buyer sometimes got product late,even showing delivered,but they still will get in 2-3days later! And they can call usps with their tracking number! And even buyer submitted a change mind still get full refund without returning product! Too many policies only regarding to sellers,never have one for buyer!And many refunds even didn’t notice seller!Only realized when check the financial statements !

Customer service, Support Seller Center. I’ve experienced exceptional customer service marked by their kindness and understanding of necessary protocols. Their explanations are geared toward ensuring legal compliance, which I completely appreciate. Moreover, they’ve worked diligently with me to resolve various product-related issues to ensure compliant standards are met. Which in return I have also shared the legalities on labeling compliance requirements, and they have taken the legalities under review.

Unable to Link Account to official Tik Tok account. I have worked to get 1000 followers so that I can start going live with my shop linked to my tik tok account. It has taken nearly a month but I finally got there and was almost finished with setting everything up when I hit a wall. The tik tok verification needed an ID, which I was gladly ready to submit but for some reason I keep getting upload error. It is a bug that has not yet been fixed and I have seen multiple other people having the same issue. It really is not pleasant and is making me feel very helpless when no ticket I write nor email I send gets a response.

Too Many Issues. The app has so many bugs. It’s not aligned properly to use on a cell phone and things are blank on the screen often because of the apps poor quality. Also, if you delete the app and try to install it again in hopes that the app will work better you have to wait and get verified again and provide all your documentation again because the app doesn’t recognize you as a regular seller on TikTok. Your business makes too much money to have such a horrible seller app.

Communist Scam. I registered through the app which was a simple 2 minute process. Immediately my application for a business TikTok shop was approved automatically, no human ever reviewed it, ever. Then at the same time they sent me an email saying my accounts activity has a violation and that any and all of my “funds” are frozen. Then asked/ or demanded that I give them all of my proprietary and confidential business documents and submit an appeal. Stuff that is none of their business and with a false, fake, automated claim from a robot. This company is a scam and obviously a Chinese communist system. I will definitely not even attempt to appeal any of their false and fake allegations or play their game to try and get my Information. Just stick to better companies and let theirs sink.

Pretty terrible experience tbph. I was doing pretty well on there last year and suddenly out of nowhere it seems, they flipped the script and told us we couldn’t sell our perfume anymore. We sent them copies of our ingredients, sds, and basically everything legally possible, and after trying with them over the phone for the passed 10months now, I still have yet to get this resolved. They keep saying “try posting another listing?”, they claim they can do nothing to help and yet there are many other merchants selling the same thing I am. It’s been a nightmare and at this point I’m at a loss. It has quite literally been the most stressful, difficult, and daunting experience. No only that but since they have quite literally crippled us by not helping with simple product listings, they will not push our shop at all through the algorithm. We are being financially choked out to the point where I’ve had to layoff my entire workforce, which was heartbreaking to say the least, I’ve suffered some severe stress both physically and financially because of this. 10 months with no real help… I feel hopeless.

Tik Tok Seller Central Onboarding. The easiest user friendly on boarding process. First be sure you have all merchandise information in front of you along with pictures and videos. Second, make sure your Tik Tok Seller Central has full access to your camera. You can choose to take new pictures or use those stored already in you camera.

Certification. I’m in the United States and we don’t have to provide product certificates on sites like Etsy and Shopify. Rules regarding product certificates are very unclear and I have reached out to customer support and they haven’t been helpful at all. Often when I go to activate listings that I have had no problems in the past listing they fail. I would like to add more products to my shop but honestly it’s not worth the time or effort. I would pay to market my products if this app worked better, but as it is it’s really not worth it

Just started My TikTok shop. Make sure you throughly read the prohibited product listings this will help with your success with the shop. Easy to use. One take away if the product fail due to something minor its seems hard to update (which is a simple process) that was frustrating but overall it’s great.

Almost Angels - over the moon. I always knew from the moment I got clean that I would be able to help others. Now with this app I can. I can have my shop and all my minor can go to charity fund which is where everything I make from tik tok . It’s for you, to keep u safe, clean, drug free with a roof over your head thanks tik tok for making my dream turn into a reality!!!

Shop closed due to violations.. I initially wanted to be a seller on TikTok but didn’t realize how it really worked. So I got halfway through the registration process and just stopped because I didn’t want the responsible of having to store inventory and do the shipping. So some time later I checked into it further and decided to just go for it. But to my surprise my shop has been permanently closed. Needless to say I am devastated. Does anyone have any idea how I could remedy this?

Can't even register an account.. Firstly, I want to take advantage of the tiktok seller program badly. I have been trying to set up an account for about a week. The chat option in the seller app does not work, so when trying to reach tiktok I have to do it through the normal app. And they just do automated responses, tell me their escalating the situation & I should receive an email with 1-2 days. It's been a week and still nothing. I can't get past verifying my license . Everything I have entered is correct. I've tried over 10 times + I even changed my image to JPG to see if it would help and still nothing. Tik tok had yet to reach out to me. I reported it as a problem as well and still haven't heard back from there. I wish this could be an enjoyable easy going feature, but they have A LOT of bugs to figure out.

No sense. I keep getting told that my items violate policy with no explanation, I put in an appeal it says denied for not providing proper documentation. Again does not specify what documentation. I got an email stating I violated these policies followed by strings of numbers and a link to policy page. I’m thinking ok like anyone has time for that, yet when I go through policy page there are no strings of numbers associated with individual policies. Who is this for? How are we supposed to have any idea what the problem is or how to fix it? This is more needlessly complicated than silent hill riddles. Also all my stats are wrong, I had been enrolled in and participating in the partnership commission program then all of a sudden just as not anymore? Can’t see or find my earnings anywhere, chat support has been of no help and that’s only when I can find it and that’s only if they actually respond which could be that day or a week or more later. I only have my phone so if this thing works on laptop then you guys need to make it work for our phones too. Though I have a strong feeling it’s just as bad, please correct me if I’m wrong, this needs serious serious work fellas, tiktok shop is broken.. if it ever worked at all

Not Seller Friendly. TikTok Shop is not seller friendly, I started using this because it was a lot cheaper than me using my own website that I closed down a few months ago. However the fact that you’ll be waiting for a month to get paid is ridiculous, people don’t read product descriptions then write negative reviews which causes unnecessary stress. You have to wait for a product to be approved, which I’ve never had to do since I run my own site. People put in incorrect addresses, which causes problems for the seller. I mean the list goes on, and it’s not far to us because we work so hard. The processing time should also be longer, but like previous reviews nothing will be done. After this month I’ll be moving back over to my own website.

Unhelpful TikTok Shop Experience. I had a frustrating experience with the TikTok Shop application process. My updated information was repeatedly rejected, and I kept receiving the same generic email within seconds of submitting, which made it clear they weren’t actually reviewing my updates. To make it worse, the email gave no specific feedback on what was wrong or how to fix it. The lack of clarity and proper customer support made the process feel unfair and unprofessional. I expected better from a platform as big as TikTok.

Seller app for phone. So I almost got my Shop taken down because I couldn’t get my orders to go over to my Shopify store because I do sellers shipping. The reason why is it because of TikTok shop well when I pull it up on my phone if it says order and it only does it once it don’t show the whole page page you can’t scroll. It just gets stuck on that. So I don’t know what the deal is or where the problem lies but y’all need to get it fixed because when you open up your phone to your seller app, you should be able like it says to go through Phil products do this do that but you can’t even see your products you can’t even I tried to scroll over and it wouldn’t let me so that I could screenshot my orders number. Well I didn’t get to so I go back in and it just says urgent order to fulfill and I can’t find the order anywhere. It doesn’t make any sense. There’s no one to get a hold of I emailed all the emails I could find I had chat help me. It’s not a real person so it just gives you generic things that you already have access to, but yeah y’all need to fix it to be better for the sellers especially on a cell phone because I’m not not everybody’s gonna carry their laptop or computer everywhere with them. Ti to seller shop is SDCCo. My page is Sunshine And Daisies Customs Co. and another thing it keeps saying my account is closed, but it’s not so I need to talk to somebody. I’ve got to figure my stuff out.

Too many issues that should not be issues. There are too many products being denied for unexplained reasons. The app also creates violations that negatively affect your shop health with vague descriptions as to why you received a violation. Nor do they provide details on how to support your appeal of said violation. Although we ship extremely fast we sell perishable items which we prefer to ship on Mon-Wednesday/Thursday depending on package destination to avoid shipping delays and to ensure freshness, however the site makes you ship in 24 hours or you receive a violation.

So vague and leaves you guessing. TikTok’s entire shop violations, refund, and appeal process are incredibly vague and leaves little to no explanation as to why things happen. Nothing is explained and when you search for answers you can never find them. When things are good, they are great. But when I problem comes up with your product and negative reviews are unfiltered and just let loose to basically tarnish your reputation because 1 customer got upset due to a less than typical experience? Absolutely ridiculous. Fix your system please and be more attentive in your shop process and let the shop owners control their own stuff.

Unclear guidelines and strikes for no reasons.. The appeal process is awful and my items get removed but my Ads are always approved. They can take my money but can’t let me make money. I also don’t like how they make it very clear that the tiktok shop customers are not your customers they are tiktoks customers. I’ve had multiple scams attempted by buyers as well and I reported them and nothing happened. They claimed I sent them a broken device and I asked them to send me pictures so I could file a insurance claim and he wouldn’t send me pictures. He said his camera was broken. And then I look at his account and he’s live-streaming and he posted a video talking badly about my item and in the video he was hitting it with a baseball bat. I reported all of this and nothing happened. This was in Aug 2023!!

Pathetically horrible terrible app. I’ve tried to Verify my account over 20 times. It keeps going in circles. Ads don’t work. I can’t setup ads. Orders appear without any notification or any emails. It’s just a bunch of screens with a hodge podge of features that look fancy but nothing really works. Perhaps they just hired a bunch of designers and crappy programmers that have no idea how to build a proper app based software. Only a bunch of few China based sellers are selling their products here. It’s just the Wild West. I’ve sent many emails to TikTok support but no one has ever responded.

DO NOT OPEN A TIKTOK SHOP. Never have Ive been more stressed in my life after opening a shop with tiktok seller!! There system is a JOKE. Seems like it was run by 8yr olds. There has not been one time that they have fixed or helped me with an issue with the app. Its HORRIBLE. Adding a product takes more than a week to get approved if you are lucky enough!! PLEASE don’t waste your time with this horrible app/system.

BEWARE! Random closures + will freeze funds. I have been running my handmade business online for 14+ years (so I know what I’m doing, my business is legit, nothing is copyright infringement). Linked Shopify to TikTok shop to try it out and fulfilled a handful of orders w/o issue. Two months later, I got RANDOMLY hit with 48 violation points for “Shop Compliance, Unusual Order Activity- Permanent Closure.” This is random, unwarranted, and best of all: they’ve frozen all my funds until they “decide what penalties to assess.” BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE; I have NEVER experienced anything as unpredictable and unacceptable as this in 14 yrs working with e-commerce. Google it; this is happening very frequently (and seemingly randomly)

Verification Issues. I tried setting up a seller account only for them to falsely claim that my ID wasn’t valid. It is a legal, state issued ID, all of the information was correct, and I tried to upload pictures and files of my ID multiple times, only to be denied after only 1 minute of uploading it because it’s “not valid”. I don’t understand how my legal ID is not valid when it clearly states to upload your legal ID. Plus, I tried uploading a complaint through their help center and it wouldn’t even let me send in my complaint because the website apparently thinks I’m a robot although I did the verification for it. This entire process is a joke.

Absolutely terrible. TikTok shop owes me almost $300 at this point from my orders stacking up and not being paid. My settlement time for all my old orders was eight days. Now its suddenly thirty one and my settlement tier is now Deferred Settlement. Customer support chat is absolutely no help, any time I get a hold of them, it’s like they have no idea what’s going on or why what’s happening is happening. No one can explain to me why I’m suddenly not getting paid. I’ve had no strikes on my account and my shop is in good health. I’m at my wits end. I joined TikTok shop because I thought it would be a good way to start out my small business. But if you’re just starting out your small business, do not make the same mistake as me.

Logging in doesn’t work. I’ve continued to make multiple attempts at logging in and it keeps saying the password I’ve re-entered and reset NUMEROUSLY is “wrong” and kept saying I only had a few attempts. I have checked my spelling and even had screen shots of my password to make sure there was no spelling issues. This is a waste of time and needs to be fixed. I don’t appreciate that your team rushed this app cause it has too many flaws. I’m also having an issue where it says I’m logged in than it keeps sending me to the page where I need to “become a creator”. And even when I try that it keeps saying my ID number has been used before and I can’t attempt to verify another account. I’m not even trying to verify another account.

Seller. I like the app but it does need more tweaking I have an iPhone I don’t get order notifications so I never know I have an order unless I’m checking all day it also doesn’t make a sound or anything we should at least receive some type of notification. I updated my phone updated the app restarted my phone I’ve tried literally everything on my end.

Criminals. How can small businesses signup to sell on your platform to make ends meet and grow their businesses and you violently take their money, close their shops with no valid explanation. There is no one to help you as the chat support is full of bots and even when you create a ticket it is automatically declined by the system. It clearly shows that they do not value their sellers to just wake up and issue a vendor 48 points of violation, no warning or even a chance to understand what’s happening, shops permanently closed? Funds seized?. Do you know how much money and time people invest in their businesses? Closing shops is already saddening not to talk about withholding funds. This is illegal practice and it is disheartening. About 496$ in my reserve was withheld, think about sellers who had thousand of dollars, this is wrong.

Online marketplaces will never be the same. TikTok has been the leader for social media over the past several years and they continue to innovate at an incredible rate. The tool that they have created for small businesses is nothing short of incredible. If you have a creative business idea don’t wait any longer, come over to TikTok to build your brand.

Violations. Seller central is easy to use but trying to get in contact with support, find out what you did wrong or what policy you violated.. it makes no sense 90% of the time. I posted a video that had one of TikTok’s stickers and they gave me a violation saying I was guiding people to shop outside of TikTok when the sticker did nothing but state “buy now” and the ad was for an item in my TikTok shop. Appealing does nothing. It makes me scared to promote anything now. But the add products and AI assistant, the background remover make it easy to post items

Removed my product. They removed my eyelash extension product claiming it is prohibited and stated that it goes against tiktok policy, but all over tik tok it sells lash strips. I got denied my appeal as well. I reread the policy and my Lash strips don’t fall under the prohibited category. I believe this app is set to bring you back instead of help you because why would you removed a product that’s prohibited and you don’t explain exactly what is prohibited about it. You don’t explain what exactly was violating. It does not make sense to have a review process when you approve it and all of a sudden after a week of your product being up and running now it’s violating policy? How does that make sense when you clearly approved my product because it wasn’t against policy. I do not recommend this app or anything. They clearly do not support You unless you live outside the US. Or the item must be made in CHINA. If you are a small business owner with handmade items this is not the place for you.

Unclear policies. The app itself is okay. It’s the policy’s put in place that’s crazy! I was really excited to open my shop, but after having my shop for only 24hours and listing a couple of items my shop was permanently closed. & I have no idea what I policy violated because it wasn’t made clear in the email I was sent. Nor did I receive any warning so I could attempt to correct whatever the issue was prior to my shop being closed. I didn’t even get the opportunity to utilize it. No sell, no views, nothing! I’m waiting on a response for a appeal but after reading the reviews, I’m not sure much will come of it. & At this point, even if i am lucky enough to get my shop back i honestly don’t even think I want to bother with it

Terrible design, zero transparency. Seems like every single backend mechanism in this app is either broken or nonfunctional. How much money did I actually get from this sale? I’ll never know, because the numbers are different everywhere, showing coupon amounts, discount amounts, and god knows what else…meanwhile I’m left wondering if tiktok pays the coupon difference, or if I just screwed myself over. How about tiktok shop mailing? Who pays for that? Initially I just had to print a label, now I have to “click to purchase” a label. Sorry, wasn’t the buyer supposed to pay for that? If you’re charging me, you should say so, so I can adjust my shop pricing accordingly. If not, JUST MAKE THAT CLEAR. How hard is it to just show me what money I actually made?? P.S. - that’s not to say anything about the fact that it’s impossible to withdraw funds LOL. This shop has created more problems than it solved. I see I made a sale and my reaction is “ugh.”

Don’t waste your time. I was selling my songs on a flash drive that I would mail to people. Tiktok deactivated my listing and will not let me appeal and will not give me an exact reason why they shut it down… We sold on Tiktok for my acoustics company too. About half the customers would claim not to receive the items. Despite us having delivery confirmation with pictures Tiktok always sides with the customer and never gave us the money. They would also deactivate our products and give us violations frequently for no reason and with no explanation except “this is against our policy”. My advice is to not sell anything on TikTok or buy anything on Tiktok. I’ve been selling online full time since 2016 and Tiktok is by far the worst platform I’ve ever seen.

Frustrating Verification Process and Flawed System. My experience with Tik Tok Shop has been exceedingly frustrating so far. The entire process seems to be handled by an automated system fraught with flaws, offering no option for personalized assistance or to speak with an actual representative. I have attempted to upload my U.S. driver's license over 20 times, but the system simply fails to verify me. It's discouraging and exhausting. I submitted three different inquiries, and all were closed with the same generic suggestion to "re-upload my ID". Following this advice has not remedied the issue. Moreover, I tried addressing the matter via email, but the response was equally unsatisfactory, advising me once more to "upload the ID again". It's ludicrous that, with all the technology available today, one can't receive real and effective help to resolve such basic issues. In conclusion, the lack of personalized assistance and a deficient verification system have turned my experience with Tik Tok Shop into a true ordeal. They urgently need to address and rectify these system flaws and enhance their customer service to provide real and effective solutions.

Horrible experience. I’ve been selling about a month now. I’ve gotten 4 violations randomly over products they approve and allow us to sell. Today I woke up to my 10k of money being frozen because my shop review is low. Why you ask? Great question they don’t tell you. It says appeal but doesn’t tell you what you’re appealing. Your only shot of finding out is sit and talk to an automated system until they put a real person on which I doubt who tells you the same thing. Our policy states and you can argue they approved it but they will say nothing. But denied. It is the most ridiculous seller setup and they do nothing to help you boost your store but make sure to take 8%of the money you earn and take 18-19 days to pay you. It’s sad

Too complicated. As a seller i find tiktok be unnecessary complicated, they make it hard to search for orders You have to enter an entire order number with about 15 numbers, instead of just having an order number or 4 numbers, it will make it so simple. Also there is no need at all to encrypt the buyers address, i am the seller i need to see their name & address, encrypting it makes it harder to find or look for orders, i can also see it when i print the label so i find that silly & unnecessary. Also if tiktok cancels an order from a buyer for not paying, leave that in a separate folder or dont display it at all 😂 that causes for confusion. (Today i was printing my orders & my printer jammed & it printed all of them except 1, so i had to enter the entire 15 number order to figure out which one it was, when it would be so easy if it was just a 4 digit order number, & i cant search by name because titktok thinks is a good idea to encrypt the buyers name & address 🤦🏻 Hopefully they change that. Also dont make returns mandatory, we should be able to have a no Return policy if we want

Worst customer service ever. The platform is great but when there’s an issue you get zero support and it’s almost as if they are against you and want you to close your shop. I am specifically referring to violations I got six violations on the same type of product due to a platform error I built and designed all of my products, and somehow they all ended up in the wrong category. I was violated to the point where I literally removed everything from my shop and stopped selling until my points went down no matter how much Imyou appealed them, We all know how that goes (automated reply and declined no valid explanation) just a generic response . I was constantly unsuccessful and extremely frustrated. so don’t come crying back when everybody leaves his platform. I sell one product that is sports cards and that is all I’ve ever sold. And people don’t get on live to be harassed by TikTok. It’s supposed to be a exciting enjoyable and something to pacify time. I feel like I’m going to court every time I turn on my computer now.

thieves. It is painful, I have been selling with them for 4 months, I passed my approval to sell, since then I have not received a dollar from them, I have been talking to agents every day and today they told me that they were not going to pay me any of my money and that my store would close, even so it is hard, they kept 500 dollars of my products plus I lost the investment I had made, this should be something to sue them for thieves, it is very hard that they do this to people and they do not even give an answer to our demands as sellers, it is the first place I see where they steal your money and nothing happens, what disappointment and frustration I would prefer to pay a lawyer if I knew that you can sue these shameless people.

Absolutely Terrible Platform. Their AI will remove products from your shop and assign traffic suppressions and violations to your account. You can prove to them that the violations are in error and they will take months to respond. They’re employees are AI bots/and or low intellect individuals who are hired to make it impossible to resolve your issue. They require brand authorization that include trademark numbers that company’s either don’t have or don’t even know about. Their platform is run so terribly that their support tickets have piled to the point they blame their lack of assistance on high influx of complaints. They will not help you. You are better off selling your product ANYWHERE else.

Great reach poor customer service. Overall the reach of TikTok as a selling platform is amazing however their customer service and amount of time that it takes for them to approve new products for sellers is unacceptable. Makes it hard to bring new products that are received from suppliers to market in a timely manner. They think I know what product is showing up 10 days in advance when the truth is I don’t know until it arrives. They are costing their sellers and themselves lots of money by not approving products faster.

TikTok shop not working for seller. I’m very in shock being in 2024 I was hoping for this to go smoothly here we go I made the decision to sign up to TikTok shop yesterday and woke up to it not working I tried logging in and does not allow me to get into shop not through TikTok or through this app I then made a whole new email ,number and made a new TikTok account and when I put in my information for drivers license and my social and everything it says account already registered I go on chrome and try and it says not account is associated like what is going on mane I want to sell I received all the confirmation emails reassuring me I was accepted sucessful also what’s with the auto fill on the drivers license talking about expo something this that and it also auto fills your last name not ok man help us out your running a service but have no way to contact anyone I already made 3 tickets about this I have heard nothing !!!

Terrible. TikTok shop is by far the worst place I’ve ever sold on. They hand over violations like crazy without a warning or anything. Some of these violations are absurd like they’ll say you’ve put a product on the wrong category when it’s actually correct?? They’ll approve your products to but even after a few days out of nowhere they’ll give you a violation. After a few violations, they permanently deactivate your shop account. The help center is just robot replies that don’t help at all or reply with a response that has nothing to do with the situation. When you appeal a violation they state to respond within 48 hours but never reply to the important appeals. They rarely even approve of them. Tiktok shop also tends to cancel or refund orders that are already on the way to the customer without your approval. For small businesses, I’d suggest to stay away from this website. They’ll have you thinking it’s the best app when you first start but then that’s when your downfall starts and end up losing sales or have your account permanently shut down. You could be selling the same items as another bigger successful small business and you’ll be the one having all these violations going to you.

They steal your money. Ten agents later they are telling us we will not get our money, even though they got our money and we sent product to the customers. Their system is flawed. They approved the account and all was well. We were moving right along selling product. A month in they hit us with a Violation to do a verification of personal identity. They wanted at least a 10 second video with the person, their ID, and proof of product. I did this ten second video. And when trying to upload it their system couldn't upload it. I contacted support, they said to upload pictures and a quick 2 second video as they were having issues with video size. I did that. Got denied. And now they tell me we cannot sell on TikTok at all. They are keeping there money and that's that. Thieves. If anyone is seeing the same issues reach out to us. We should get lawyers and go after these bullies. Thieves

By far one of the worst apps I’ve ever ever used. So I tried using this app and link it to my TikTok account but because I got a community guidelines violation for something utterly ridiculous because TikTok is so anti-marijuana because they’re communist Chinese app they wouldn’t let me link my TikTok account to it to sell things on TikTok shopping. It’s absolutely ridiculous. I’m getting really fed up with the way they use TikTok and they are community guidelines as a joke and I’m tired of how I make comments on specific videos and things and I get in trouble all the time I literally saw a woman with gigantic knockers breast-feeding her daughter, and it was very sexual the way she was making faces. Honestly the best business decision I’ve made. Honestly since I’ve started using TikTok for personal and business , my life has changed . I get more consistent support from people and I love it because the city I am in isn’t supportive at all . I like that TikTok protects us and the customer as well . I was averaging a sale a day even tho it’s slowed down its helped with financials in my life since me and my kids were just homeless and we are just getting back to the norm . TikTok helped me and actually saved me

Sellers side is trash. As a seller you rely on the company to provide technical support when things dont work. Everything is robots and faq with zero real answers. They going to give you violations with zero proof. Orders come in with zero notifications. Make you waste all kind of time ohh send me a screenshot, of what? The emails i am not getting of the order but thousands of junk sales newsletters that dont get any sales. They want you to post videos but anything bigger than probably a minute is a disaster to upload constantly fails. They pretend to be very nice and helpful but out of the manyyy tickets i have in goes no where. Not even their own website plugins they cant help with, just ended up with third party paid stuff. Things are hit or miss with traffic, you think you finally figured it out, nope little views. I think TikTok is great for influencers but if you also got a business to run this is a real headache. Super nice people but useless in so many ways.

Review, Exposure, and Bugs. The review period to get a product accepted should be no longer than an hour, not 48+ hours. The seller center does not do enough to attract buyers to the site. I have a Shopify store that has the exact same products, prices and descriptions that did $30k last quarter and on this platform not even one sale. The fact that it takes forever to get a product approved, lack of getting buyers, AND some over the top guidelines has been keeping me consistently disappointed by the service. I’ve actually lost money

Terrible app. The app is horrible. It’s no reason to have an app when it does the exact same thing as the browser. Besides that, my tik tok shop has been having an issue where I have been approved for Tik tok shop and even shipped orders off. However my tik tok shop does not show up on my page although it’s link so no one who is in my page is able to view my showcase. It’s been one month and customer service still hasn’t resolved my issue. They escalated it but the representatives keep asking you to do the same things. My issue is still current and no one at customer service has fixed it.

Please help me!. This TikTok SellerCenter app seems like a great app to make money, but.. I downloaded this app two weeks ago. I’ve tried everything to complete the identity verification. I gave my personal info, tried contacting TikTok Officials but their not much help. And the worst part about it all is that I can’t get support through the SellerCenter app because I haven’t verified my identity. I’m stuck in a loophole of being unable to complete the verification process, after multiple new attempts, and not getting any feedback on how to fix this. Please reach out to me. shop has been deactivated in error. My shop was integrated with Printful. I sent an item to my first affiliate and it was not shipped in 24 hours. For that reason my shop has been deactivated. While I chose Printful’s 3-5 dat shipping as per TikTok’s policy. I spend so much time adding the products and the shop has been suspended for that unreasonable error. Why are you giving integration to POD if you are deactivating shops if they are not shipping in 24 hours. This is very unfair and stressful. Try another platforms. You will be deactivated without any warning.

Complete joke. I literally signed up to Cell was approved and then immediately got a violation. They sent me a thing saying I needed to send a copy of my business to my state whatever and I don’t have a business. My sister has a business and it’s just registered at the same address. She’s a graphic designer and it literally has nothing to do with me, so why would she give me her business information to submit an appeal on something that has nothing to do with her business

Constantly De-list products for bizzar reasons. The app constantly un-list random products of mine stating that “product certification” is missing or other bizzar little un-specific reason just to make me feel bad. All my products are my genuine brand. I am the only authority to certify my brand.

TIK Tok Shop Deactivates With NO WARNING. There new policy is incredibly UNCLEAR. I received 50 “violations” after selling on the app for over 4 months. Ultimately my shop was taken off the platform and I’ve sent several tickets to get my shop back on the platform & NOBODY has gotten back to me. I’ve sold a lot on that platform so to be deactivated with no waking is blasphemy! I guess I’ll direct potentials customers to my site moving forward instead.

No customer support help !. The TikTok shop app will not let me connect my official TikTok account to my store. I go through all the menus out in the correct information and still error messages pop up. So now I have all my products, tax information, business information on here for no reason because I can’t even connect my actual account to even start selling product! The support is non existent, nothing works.

Horrible. I hate the timeframe they have set to ship orders. I received more than 600 orders in 2 days, tiktok wanted me to ship them out in 3 days. Obviously I couldn’t do most in time and I was penalized. I hate the timeframe they give me. After hiring workers a month later. I received a wave of orders again, I kept up. But after the orders were delivered, I received so many violation tickets, I can only receive 30 orders per day. I hate this so much, tiktok do better!

Absolutely no help linking my account to shop for eight months now. I have been emailing and trying to get help linking my account to shop for eight months now. Emails return back as unsent, no support at all, no where to find support, and QR codes to link are not working. It keeps asking me to link my account. My book is live but, cannot find it with the ID because of course “seller does not exist”. WTH!!! Horrible horrible horrible!!!

Thoughts. My First Time Selling on TikTok , I have one sell already so I have hope for future success. Very easy to operate your business .and if your serious be patient because you have to put in detail on everything about your business.

Lack of syncing. I still cannot use the app to manage my shop because the app and online are not syncing. I tried using the “Help” center and received no help. The bot is not capable of understanding nor fixing the issue. I’m extremely disappointed I’ve wasted several hours trying to get the issue resolved to no avail. Shame on you TikTok. I definitely expected more from you all.

Love. I have made the most money selling on this platform then any other selling website that I have previously tried since 2016 with a sale here and there .

Heinous Customer Service and very poor guidance. As a seller is very frustrating to put time an effort in several products for them to get denied/delisted for “improper categorization” when the products are specifically what they are. Appeals are useless because they continue to get denied but there is no one that can say in what category the product is supposed to be. Probably because is already in the correct category and whoever is checking on these things is an inept.

Automated responses. I truly enjoy TikTok… However, the TikTok shop has been very under user friendly… As I am an educated registered nurse, and I find that these violations for uploading to the wrong category for a simple pen is outrageous… My heart drops whenever I do something incorrectly… And when I reach out for clarification, I get an automated response… The artificial intelligence is under scored

Views to product. This app is great to list your products to your page. But hate how some videos are under violation, when the music is already applied to the content made. I didn’t ask for it to be there, yet my product is muted.

Customer service team. The customer service team needs some serious training . They only send generic messages, they do not solve your problems and they re ask for all the evidence they need in order to process a request . Like if they ignore the previous files you send . They when u call them out the hand you off to a “specialist “ which does the same thing all over again

A PAIN to type anything. This app is ok but I find the typing to just all over the place. It predicts words and automatically changes it to that and jumps down to the end of the description. I also had handmade sterling silver jewelry to add but you “have to be invited” to use those materials and no way to apply for an invitation. Frustrating and probably better for common drop shippers, not small handmade businesses.

Don’t waste your time.. They make it real hard to sell on here. Your better off selling on eBay, Marci, facebook market place etc. They make you upload certificates that’s impossible to get for an item you want to sell. Also you can list something simple like necklace and they say you selected the wrong category when I went through them all. Also support don’t know what they are talking about. Different reps told me different reasons why.

Ban with no response. This app is absolutely terrible. I would 100% recommend anybody to stay away from this. My solar account got banned, but I didn’t get any explanation as to why I had to go on a month-long expedition to figure out why my TikTok shop was banned and sport wasn’t very helpful either.

Shipping. Shipping timeframe especially during holiday season should not be three business days I believe it’s kind of unreasonable 3 to 5 business days sounds better or 5 to 7 business days especially during the holiday season that should definitely be improved with TikTok selling center shop

I unliked my TikTok from TikTok shop and after 24 hours it still doesn’t show all the features In the showcase and affiliate toolkit section, what’s the main reason for this and what’s the best resolution for this problem?

Love it so far. But not sure why I can’t add the link of product to my posts. I let them a message. Never heard anything from them yet. Also a buyer tried adding my product to check out and it was showing him out of stock even though it was in stock. I believe it weds improvement. And easy way to communicate with TikTok business team.

Awful Customer Service. I would leave 0 stars if I could. Awful customer service. Contacted them about the same issue more than 5 times with photos and all. Nobody cares. Business documents have been stuck on pending for months. Also when I fill out tax info it states successful and then cycles me back to the dashboard which then says I need to fill it out again. So much for encouraging small business to sell on your platform.

Easy to load products. Compared to “The other guys” lol it is sooo easy to load products. I get frustrated on the other platform. Not as intuitive of a process as this..

TikTok shop is hard to post items. I have been trying to post cgc graded cards for weeks and occasionally one squeaks in on a random “category” that did not work the previous day. Non sport graded card singles sounds like the one for hastune miku and JJK cards bc we’ll all graded cards but sports would but it only works 1/30 or so times I’ve tried a lot. No where to tell you what you are doing wrong other than in red a category which doesn’t work.

Verification is unbearable. I’m not sure if there are actual people with eyeballs who are reviewing these documents that we are supposed to upload to verify our information in order to open a shop. I’ve uploaded a utility bill which CLEARLY shows my full name and the address that I’m using to register my business, but it keeps denying my application because it kind match what’s on the document with what I entered.

Horrible for sellers. This app is horrible for sellers they deny everything you post on your page and don’t give you a reason as to why . Talked customer service and they agree that my products are ok to be posted by refuse to because their systems does not allow it then who has the power to allow it I can’t post my products and get sales because of the idiotic system hate hate it.

Unsatisfactory. Customer Service lack knowledge of anything and can be extremely rude. On the other hand the training center doesn’t gives much detail for information and then once you’ve listed items you might be able to sell a few then comes the violation and removal of the said product due to it being prohibited which makes no absolute sense. If you are a drop shipper then you have a whole other issue.

Works better than the website. The app is much smoother with less lags. The website can be a pain to use since it tends to glitch and become unresponsive often.

NEEDS UPDATE ASAP. The app isnt properly working. It may even has some bugs thats preventing it from working properly. Im trying to add my products but i cant do that unless i add my address. This is where the app isnt working properly, its not letting me add an address and keeps showing me a blank white screen. I have to exit out the page and retry but its keep doing the same thing.

A scam. They took my ssn and business information when I first opened the shop, and then I opened the shop (which wasn’t easy) then they closed my shop? When I sent over the documents to open up my shop again they blocked my email. This is your sign to not open a tik tok shop. Update: Also sent me a link to a website that I can’t access because MY ACCOUNT WAS REMOVED. Do better 😒

Love it but needs work. Although the app is still fairly new, I still want to say that it is extremely confusing reading through the notifications on the Pages. I think that the shipping is the most confusing I can’t tell at times what’s been canceled what is placed what is priority even through weeding with the filters.

New shop affiliate. Difficult to list products. Certificate of conformity is found where? Everything has to have measurements, but they aren’t listed with products. Anything with chemical properties, you want us to list ingredients. And searching for the product is a real chore! Over 100,000 items, some only because of one word in common.

Needs to be better. You create account then when you log in it’s asking you to create account again. When you do it’s saying account exist lol. You have to try to log in three times to finally log in. Thennnn when you log in it’s asking you to the do THE SAME THINGS YOU ALREADY DID. then you’re waiting for products to be approved, you log in the next day it’s asking what products you want to sell as if you didn’t do that already and waiting for approval. Lol.

App is easy to use, after a bit. I think the App is easy to use, but it should offer more things that you can do on the desktop. Everyone doesn’t have that. Also, deleting photos from it should be easier. But other than that, I like it.

Unrealistic demands. I’m a vendor with the required sellers permit but yet I can’t sell certain brands due to “branding certification” needed. I have contacted distributors and even the brand company itself and can’t get such certifications from anyone. This has been communicated to TikTok and yet they still demand the certificate which I can’t obtained. I was also told that if I can’t get the certificate to sell non branded items. Unbelievable!

Just do it. This platform is so easy to use. It literally does it all for you, except make your product! I was intimidated, nervous when I received my first order. But i was comforted in the easy and convenient process!
