Very enjoyable can’t wait for the updates. I overall really enjoyed the game. I remember playing the first one all the time when I was younger and this one has some really promising features, I can see where they can expand with more jet packs and skins for your character as well as adding more levels but I found it very enjoyable trying to get everything.I’m sure all my grievances with the game with be resolved in a future updates. I do wish there was a way to have like a “free play” sort of mode where your not in your dungeons crawl challenge and you are just able to try and achieve the highest score possible like in the first game.

Finally a game that’s not “plus”. Let me just say that this game is awesome. So many of the games on Apple Arcade are just plus. For me these games are just a copy of the original with one or two added things here in there. This game is different however. Being the second version of Jetpack joyride I knew it had to be good. It is VERY GOOD. This game is not plus, it is taking all the good idea from the original and adding on to they making a totally new game with the same concept. There are so many knew features that it would take me hours to explain them all. You can tell these developers have put in the work to make an awesome game and really has the player in mind.

Ok. I agree with some here. The original was better. The story mode in this is fun. I enjoy the themes of each sector. The rest seems bloated. Like they crammed to much into the game. There are no good backpack and or suit skins to choose from that makes it unappealing. The arcade games are fun but the only reason to play is to get parts to upgrade. I would rather pay with tokens. The health power ups during your run could appear more often. Also there are to many times that the piggy bank pops up. Way too much. Also with gravity run and the spaceship. Hardly get big stomper at all. I’ve completed all the updates so far. But beyond the main story it is dull and boring. There is no incentive to keep playing. Once the whole story is done I’ll probably delete game. There is just nothing to work toward.

So Fun To Play!. The game was a bit short (but they are thankfully adding more levels soon) and it was fun to play but it was a little too easy like the bosses weren’t very difficult. Also the level system shouldn’t have a max because I’m stuck on 50 and I’ve gained so much do but It won’t go any higher and leveling up or getting do is basically useless now and there’s no point in the challenges or anything. There was a couple of bugs I ran into like not being able to upgrade sometimes the button just wouldn’t work or the game crashing when I opened it. Overall I loved this game that’s why I gave it five stars. I played the first one a lot as a kid and this was so fun to remember and with the soundtrack and everything. One of the best things in this game is NO ADS!! Most mobile games these days are desperate for money but in this game THERE ISNT EVEN COSMETICS YOU CANT GET FOR FREE AND IT’S AMAZING!!!!! I’m so excited for the new levels even though it was a bit short and easy. Thanks Halfbrick and Apple Arcade for this 10/10 Sequel!!

Great sequel, but missing one key element. I recently finished this game completing the campaign and getting level 50 unlocking everything. All I have left to do is max all the perks and stuff. I’m fine with all the material grinding required for arcade, even with the limited games it currently has. The one thing that I really wanted to see was an endless mode. Like that is what made the original game fun was trying to see how far your could make it, which was unfortunately replaced by a story mode. Please add endless mode to the arcade or something as it would help break the monotony of having to defeat Mik over and over again. You can also have a lucky spin system implemented which can give you materials sometimes (which again would help the current arcade system of playing the same games again and again).

Honestly great minus one slight problem.. The game is very fun. Progression is nice and it’s a pretty challenging game. I love that daily logins don’t reset if you miss a day. That’s a HUGE plus in my book. My only gripe is the lag. My phone is an 11 pro max so maybe it’s outdated nowadays but I don’t think a 2D game should have lag at all. I’m not sure if it’s a framerate or frametime issue. My controls feel responsive but the game will get choppy when there’s a lot going on on screen. I’m only guessing frametimes might be janky because it feels like an issue I’ve had on pc games in the past. I really hope the devs see this and can fix it. Other than that problem the game is a fantastic runner game. Definitely try it out.

Good except for impossible boss rush boss. I have really enjoyed playing this game, I like the prestige levels that allow me to reset while still feeling like I haven’t lost anything. I like the new arcade games even though they are pretty tough and the boss rush would be a really fun challenge to push through were it not for the blue mosquito boss. Unlike the blue mosquitos in the game the boss doesn’t just fire a few fire balls every now and then. Which is mostly expected from a boss, my problem is that after shooting three little fire balls at the start of the game it just lets out a non stop barrage of fire balls that are in a straight line across the whole screen with no room to dodge. So unless you haven’t died the whole time and he’s the last boss you play (which is random chance and so far has not happened) you won’t have enough lives to try to kill it. Seriously devs, you’ve got a problem here and it’s about time you fix it.

Needs an update already. Lost of issues for those of us who have basically completed the game already. I’ve got all vehicles maxed, I’ve got Jetpack maxed which is an issue because now I have a mission I can’t complete to skip because skipping a mission is not an option anymore like it was in the first game. Power ups have the issue that when using a token you will continue to get “cards” for power ups even if you’ve already got enough to max it out. Example. I only needed 111 to send to lvl 10 for a power up but I had over 500. So it’s just something that they should not continue to drop if you’re enough to max out a power up. Really needs an endless mode otherwise I could see me uninstalling this game.

It is a decent sequel. I will get one thing straight this is a very enjoyable game to sit down and play. But saying that it is very unfinished. One problem are the vehicles there are only 3! I think they should’ve kept vehicles from the old game such as Mr. Cuddles I just think it is lacking. Another problem is that once you finish the adventure you can’t go back to old levels and you can’t play an endless run like the original for this reason I think the game was released to early and should have added some more content or gotten beta testers and gotten ideas and improvements. Overall it is a good game with many new items. But I think the original Jetpack is better if you don’t want to pay 5$ for Apple Arcade.

Fun game but the damage scaling is completely arbitrary. Played for several hours and the one thing I couldn’t get my head around was the way that the damage and health scales with each upgrade. Sometimes it feels like it does nothing at all. Got through Neontropolis sector 7 with a level 10 jetpack and it was an absolute breeze, but the very next sector the game just suddenly decided that every hit was going to do over half my health in damage even after fully upgrading my jetpack to level 15. And with all the missiles flying around it’s basically impossible to dodge long enough to survive the level. All my gadgets and vehicles are max level too, so there’s not much left to do. It’s a shame because I was having a good time with the game, there’s just nothing else I can do to progress - the game has decided that my upgrades and weapons are now useless against the exact same enemies that I shredded just one level ago.

It’s Alright. Apple made a big deal about this title in their Arcade promotions and it’s not at all their best game. The Jetpack Joyride mechanics are here and are responsive (minus a few spotty areas). I love that there’s no IAP as this is an Arcade game. The additions of missions, objectives, and upgrades is a good hook to play til the end. But that’s the big issue, the end. As long as you’re upgrading and progressing, the end takes only a few hours to reach. And after that you’re stuck playing the last mission over and over. There’s no endless run and little replay ability factor. Halfbrick teases more levels coming in the future, but I’m not sure how many more levels you can stick in here to make it worth people’s time. Overall it’s fun for a bit, but useless afterwards.

It’s Great overall. The game play is near identical to the original being they add more enemies and a health bar (which in my opinion is a lot better) but there are also actual bosses that have special moves that feel special to each one. And the different arenas that have there own unique enemies is cool and keeps the gameplay interesting. But i have a few criticisms. The badges seems really impossible to upgrade the highest the levels especially when the mini game modes give out such low prizes. My last critique is about the sticker album i wish i could choose which arena i could play in in order to get the defeats on bosses i need to unlock their specific stickers cause as of now it’s just pure luck if i encounter them or not. But other than that great game keep the updates coming 👍👍

Not even close to the first one. I used to be a HUGE fan of the first game back when I was a child, I would spend hours playing even at school. I just got apple arcade and was really excited about playing this game. But, when I downloaded it, I found something completely out pf the essence of jetpack joyride, the endless levels (That used to be the only way to play it) where you would complete a couple challenges without dying, knowing most of the obstacles would onehit-KO you, are now just a secondary mode darkened by the new mode where you play for like a minute before hitting a boss and finishing him to end the level and keep going through the story (You read correctly, Story mode in this game for God’s sake!!!!). Besides all this problem I must say graphics look gorgeous and upgrades are much more fun now.

A great start to a sequel. This game is pretty dang good, but there are a few things that could be improved. 1.Add an endless mode, this is the mode that should be called arcade, and the existing arcade mode should be renamed something like ‘Experiments’ 2.Make power ups not be used on pickup, and instead allows the player to activate them when they choose (this could be a badge ability) 3.Allow the player to change the default orientation of the game. Right now the default way the game faces (with the phone speakers to the left) is the reverse of the normal way that orientation faces. 4.Have the magnet badge pick up coins that are affected by gravity. It doesn’t make any sense that the magnet attracts coins that are floating in air, but not coins that are bouncing around.

Outstanding sequel!! Highly recommended!!. This game is awesome!! It’s a worthy successor to the original game, which I still have on my iPad. The difficulty is to the point where it doesn’t get so frustrating. Unlocking things doesn’t take too much effort, and most of all, NO ads or IAP’s. Unlike the original game, it’s not endless. You go up to a certain distance. I like the fact that you can now fight a boss, which isn’t too difficult and the added Arcade Mode. This game has all the features which made the original game great, and it shows here. You can just pick up and play to your heart’s content.

Amazing sequel, but there’s one problem…. This is a very good sequel. The story is funny, I like the new mechanics, and overall almost all the changes make this a very nice sequel. There’s one recent change, though, that I don’t like very much. In the new update, the time for the things in the factory to get full were increased by a lot. I get this is to stop people from getting a lot of one thing, but this is way too much imo. Three of them were changed to 20 hours, which is way too long, and another one was changed to 18 hours. I felt like the previous times were perfect. Please change it back to the way it used to be or at least reduce it severely.

NEEDS an update. Inexplicably for the sequel to one of the most famous “endless” runners of all time … you can beat this game in ONE day. All 50 missions. It’s super fun while it lasts but once you hit level 50 you literally can only replay the last level over and over. Because the factory just farms resources for you at this point you don’t even need to “play” the game anymore to max out all of your equipment. The only other thing to do is play the little arcade modes that take WAY too long to let you replay with slow scoreboards and reset animations. Parts of this game are brilliant and incredibly fun but I just don’t understand how they botched the replayability so badly once you are in the “end game” really hope an update is coming quickly

Still the same experience from 6 months ago. I played this game since launch, and I’m still 176th in the world on Endless Mode. Now, I originally took a pause for about 6 months because the game lagged at a certain score on endless and they added those sticker orbs. I just came back for a game, it was long overdue, and wow, there’s now cakes that float around the map alongside the sticker orbs. I can’t tell AT ALL what I need to collect, what I need to shoot at, and what I need to avoid. Its got way too much chaos and it ends up being more frustrating that enjoyable. The fact this is still an issue is very disappointing and makes it hard to play. At the same time, the fact I’m still ranked so high after so long of not playing solidifies that point of too much chaos. I’ve never come remotely close to my highest score if I ever do play an endless mode. When you pair a quick to beat storyline mode, and a guarantee no chance to beat your endless mode score, there’s nothing to really play for…

Micro transactions ruin gameplay. Ok so here’s the rub. First Im playing on Apple Arcade so no micro transactions. So purple gems were given to be like candy which I believe in the non Apple Arcade version they are pushed at the user buy. So at first I choose to not upgrade my pack/health/power and just looked to see how far I could go. Without failure the game would always throw at me a insane amount of enemies always about 10% distance before the end of a level… but as soon as I upgraded with pink crystals those enemy clusters disappeared.. it’s obvious they programmed it for micro transactions because on apple aracde I logged in for 5 days and in that 5 days I’ve beaten the game. Still cool and definitely needs updates to make it a real game and not a fancy pay to win platform hidden with fancy stuff

eh…. with each update, the navigation gets worse on tv. many times, you can’t even move around menus (and are forced to force-quit and re-open the game), you still can’t access the bottom row of costumes on the avatar menu, with the ‘B’ button — no matter what screen you’re on — it closes the game out (instead of having a dedicated “exit game“ option/button), and, now — in the newest update — you can’t even access any portion of the sticker album… let alone the newest second page. another frustration is the ‘factory’ tab; when you are trying to tap the “mini-game“ at the bottom of the screen, it constantly takes you back to the top row of icons every time try interact with it (this actually happens with any button on any screen). instead of forcing you to the “info“ or back/arrow button, your positioning should stay in the same spot. PLEASE fix these issues.

An unfinished mess. The original Jetpack Joyride was a pretty cool game. But it’s pretty clear this sequel only exists because Tim Cook burst through the wall of Halfbrick Studios with a sack of money and offered it to them in exchange for whatever they could whip up before he finished microwaving the Hot Pockets he brought for lunch. The score mechanic makes no sense, it’s primarily distance-based except when it’s not, blowing up basic enemies seems to give you a small amount of points but blowing up huge bosses gives you none. Basic bench Betty is in the game for some reason despite no storyline reason given for her existence and she sometimes shows up instead of Barry in storyline sequences, even when you’re controlling Barry. There’s these big blue diamonds you can grab that don’t do anything cool at all, they just give you a bunch of coins, even though giant coins that also give you a bunch of coins already exist. Clearly none of this was planned out and was a bare minimum effort to get some Apple Arcade money.

Fun but.... The game is amazing. I love how it so much better than the original and the changes brought to this iteration are amazing. However, there's one thing I absolutely hate. That is the "useless XP". Let me explain. I have completed the game, defeated Queen V and am waiting for the next update. As of this moment, I can only play Arcade or Endless. The XP that I'm gaining out of these modes, are a lot but it's uselss. Why? Because when the next update comes out, this XP does not mean anything. It's just you randomly getting XP for no reason. The game should add all the XP you gained during the wait time, to your next badges when available. Other than that, the game is fun and deserves the 4-star.

Feels like it’s early access. Jetpack joyride 2 feels like a sequel that just isn’t finished, and I’m not just talking about the lack of vehicles. Everything that made the original jetpack joyride great just isn’t here. One of the most important features is the fact that it isn’t endless anymore, which was the whole point. Now it’s separated into levels with an increasing high score you need to reach before the level ends. The slot machine and tokens are gone and just replaced with gems you can use to revive yourself. The new power-ups you can get in the run are cool, but it feels like they were put in to replace the vehicles. My biggest gripe is how the arcade game mode is required to play to upgrade the gadgets. Coins become more important as they are required to upgrade everything in the game from your health and damage to your vehicles and gadgets. So much new stuff has been added to jet pack joyride but doesn’t feel like it belongs, it’s just a separate game now. I hope this is not the finished game and receives continuous updates and love from the developers.

Fun but maxed out in one day.. This game really highlights the benefits of Apple Arcade and the flaws of the pay to play genre. It seems as if this would be one of the pay to play games but Apple just happened to pick it up for arcade. This is great because many of these types of games are fun but too expensive if you have to pay to upgrade. The scenario here is, if you play well, play enough and play smart, you will upgrade quickly--especially since you're not paying to advance. The lack of more levels once you beat Mic is frustrating as is the fact that EXP is capped at 50. Makes me feel like if I keep playing I am wasting time because I have no room to go up. Hopefully they will add levels, etc., but if the history of PTP games moving to Arcade is any example, the devs grabbed the bag and are probably done here. If it was still PTP, they would have incentive to keep us going and interested. I hope I'm wrong. That being said, I have basically finished this game and now have to wait around another 3 or 4 weeks for Apple Arcade to pick up another new game worth playing. They need to add more games more often IMO.

Jet pack joyride 2 is a blast! Excellent !. I love Jetpack joyride 2! Much more engaging than the first nightmarish void of endless soul numbing echo-chamber! Now there are varied characters introduced to battle and the levels actually have an end with plenty of goals that actually result in something more noteworthy than a number. I love the varied machines and power ups and the mini arcade games as well! It really helps to make the achievements more doable by other means. My interest is always peaked with this colorful and diversified game play! Love it. Developers, keep up the excellent and creative work!! Thank you!

No endless mode??. I’ve played Jetpack Joyride on and off since it first came out. It was endlessly replayable because there were so many costumes and jet packs to collect, and you were always chasing a higher score. I was super excited for Jetpack Joyride 2. I like all the new features, which other reviews have enumerated quite well, but I was disappointed that the story mode was so short. It only took me a day to beat the whole game. I’ve already leveled all of the rooms of my factory to the max, and all there is to do now is play arcade to level my badges and replay the last level over and over. What the heck? The fact that there’s no endless runner mode seems like a huge miss on Halfbrick’s part. They could have even made it so once you beat story mode, you can replay it on higher difficulty, like they did with Colossatron. I feel like the game they released is only a preview, rather than a full game. They had to know that people would blaze through the story mode quickly. I guess I’ll just go back to Jetpack Joyride until Halfbrick gives us more content.

overall, an outstanding sequel. I played the original to death. This sequel is a great expansion that respects Arcade conventions while still providing lots of fun ways to progress and upgrade. There’s lots of new special powerups (and some old favorites that have been improved). The one part I don’t enjoy is the Arcade mini-games which are required to grind materials for upgrades to what are now called “Badges” that used to be just equippable buffs, because not only are the Arcade mini-games frustrating but the materials requirements require a _lot_ of play-time, much of which is made even worse by the _unskippable_ post-game progress animations that just force-feed you what you already won rather than letting you get more of the grind out of the way. The interface design is a complete jumbled mess using red dots where nothing is actually ready. But overall, they did a great job of expanding Jetpack Joyride and bringing some fresh ideas to the table. I’ve been enjoying the several hours that I’ve spent with it so far and see a good 20+ ahead of me in just this debut version, with more sure to come in future updates.

The Original was better. Don’t get me wrong, this game isn’t bad by any means. It just doesn’t hold up as well as the original, there’s so many mechanics in the game that the tutorial takes forever to get through and overall it feels like the game overdid it with all the in-game mechanics. For example the new health bar system feels like it makes the game a lot easier than the first one and if you lose any of your health than you usually get it back within the next 20 or so seconds, It removes a lot of the intensity and rush that the first game did so well. They also locked the beloved endless mode until level 10 which isn’t a huge problem if you plan to play this game for a while but it takes about an hour to get to to that threshold. They also removed the slot machine you got to spin with tokens whenever you died and replaced the equipable power up that added a lot of options and gameplay variety from the first game and replaced it with “badges” which isn’t a horrible change but I feel like those were really good additions from the first game that should’ve made its way into this one. I get that they were trying to experiment with the game but they removed so many good features from the first that it doesn’t feel as enjoyable. Aside from that the game looks and feels pretty good but compared to the passion and love the first JPJ had it doesn’t feel the same.

Impossible. I got past legitimate research but the next place is impossible and I looked at the others and they said 20,000 I think more so it’s very hard I heard and I heard about an update adding more levels and IJB a little too hard like the level after legitimate research really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really hard 5000 is just too hard for me and I think a lot of peoples limit because over 5000 is too hard for a lot of people especially me I cannot get through anything over legitimate research and if somebody’s at the end I think it will be extra hard when they win if there’s another thing but I’m not saying get rid of the update but

Pretty Fun. We all played and enjoyed the endless runs from the first Jetpack Joyride. This sequel kept a lot of that entertainment! The levels aren’t so challenging that you can’t win and give up, but aren’t so boring that you lose interest in it. The upgrades are not so expensive that they are unachievable, and you are able to progress quite quickly. Barry still has his charm, the stomper still stomps, and missiles still fire away at you. But something is still missing… Where is Flash? Our favorite sidekick is missing! Where is the dragon? So many things have yet to be brought back as of yet! Also, a lot of this game is still being developed, so you do run out of levels pretty quickly, and WHY CAN YOU NOT GO BACK AND REPEAT LEVELS?!?!?!?!?!? Plenty of things say that more is in development, but why was the game released with so little to play on? I look forward to getting updates and more levels, gadgets, vehicles, etc.

To Halfbrick: Almost perfect. This game is so amazing. It captures the nature of its beloved predecessor while still having plenty of new content. I HIGHLY recommend it. It’s a blast and it’s incredibly addicting. There are a few frustrating bugs I need to report though. That would keep it from being 5 stars: 1. On multiple occasions, I seem to enter an infinite loop where Barry is running and shooting, but not actually advancing in the sector. The distance meter never progresses and no new enemies are introduced. The only thing I’ve found to fix this is quitting that run and starting again. This is especially infuriating when I’m on a particularly difficult stage, I finally get near the end with a good health standing, only to be forced to abandon that run. 2. I know this sounds like a cop out, but I’m certain it doesn’t register every tap on the screen. Sometimes Barry will fall to the ground despite my tapping and/or holding on the screen. Which is frustrating because sometimes that causes me to miss power ups or gems, or get hit. I have a couple other very minor qualms about the game but those are the only major issues I’ve found. Ultimately, this is a truly amazing game and those are the only factors preventing it from being a perfect 5/5.

NEW BOSS RUSH NOT FAIR TO TOP USERS. Eliminating badges for Power is unfair. It is extremely hard to kill 9 Bosses in a Row without powers. They strip it out and hope you can get through the first round of 9 bosses. Trying to keep us busy but the sense of achievement is lost. It resets to 0 if you don’t make it. And trust me. You won’t. At least let us log the ones we have defeated. I have defeated 3 in a Row but I have to start all over again. Get another 3 first then try to get all 9. That is not right. I should start with 3 and move on to try to get to 9. AND OUT OF THE FIRST ROUND. GIVE US OUR BADGES and increase the rounds and rewards. There is nothing left for me to collect. I’m on 3rd Prestige. All badges full and I can’t use them against these hard challenges. Tying my hands and hoping I stay interested? No. I’m rapidly losing interest and looking for another game. Badges for Hard challenges Please!

Holding back 1 star because it needs more content. So…I was a pretty big JPJR fan back in the day. There are things I miss from the old game…but V2 gets a lot of things right and I had a blast playing it for 2 days until I “beat it” by maxing out at Level 50 and beating all the sections. Needs MUCH more content. Where are all the jet packs? Where are all the Unis? Where are all the mechs? I have gobs of $ and crystals and NOTHING to spend it on. Let’s GO halfbrick! :) Hardcore JPJR fans will demean the fact that this version is easier…by far…but its no less enjoyable IMO. Just bring on the content and new stages AND, without fail, make an endless mode. Absolutely insane that one doesn’t exist.

Amazing Sequel But…. I have no complaints of the game whatsoever. It was so good that it brought me back to the first Jetpack Joyride when I was a kid. There’s even more in regards to content! The developers are making new levels and that’s great. If I may make one suggestion until the new content is out. Add an endless mode. It took me about a week of on and off play to beat the entire game (without all upgrades) and now I just find myself running the final stage over and over again to grind for all maxed out gear. What do I do once I fully max out all equipment? I can’t test how far I can truly go with different load outs, etc. Overall 5/5 Stars! Please keep adding more!!

Was good but now bad. Got this when it first came out and thought this was an ok sequel to the first. Stayed throughout all the updates and felt like the game at times were challenging and upgrading your Jetpack was worth it in order to survive. Hate the tron vehicle in this game and thought it was horrible in the first one. Now, it’s impossible to beat and having ALL the upgrades for Jetpack, vehicles, power ups and it doesn’t feel like they are worth spending money on upgrading. Game will 3 shot you and they have more lock on enemies that will follow you instead of going straight to your original position. Eggs that shoot out purple smoke are nearly impossible to get past and deal 7/8 your health from one egg. This game got hard because some idiot thought it was too easy and wanted this game to be a pain. There’s not point in upgrading your Jetpack if your health stays the same and the gun does NO additional damage. Game is bad and will be deleted soon.

5 Stars With Endless Mode!. LOVE the game. But after playing all the chapters available, I’m stuck playing the last stage over and over if I want to play. The mini-games are fine, but don’t scratch the same itch. I cannot figure out why there’s not an option to replay earlier stages since it’s free-to-play, but even more, how is there no endless mode on a game that’s a sequel to one of the best endless runner games on the App Store? I’m…stymied. And disappointed. Will change this to 5 stars if they add in the future. (So much fun, shaking my head.) Update (days later): They fixed it! Woohoo! Endless mode is here! Five stars!

Needs more. I played the original for years. I sat down to play this game and was level 50 max Jetpack in about 3 days of playing casually. Maybe 3 hours maximum and I finished the story already and am waiting for new content. I loved the game and think that it explained on the original in many positive ways including leveling system to allow for runs not to be like 10/15 mins trying to get a high score. I would like to see more challenging levels near end game most levels did not take very long to complete. The badges are cool ish the benefits are dependent on play style but I just would like to see more content. Endless mode, more machines like the original, gunless mode ect.

Please add endless mode. You guys have a great game i thank you for for that. I gave you three stars because despite having a wonderful game when you reach the end it’s just over… I have tons of things left to upgrade but there’s not even anything to do once you beat mik(the final boss or level). You should have a mode to replay the story on a harder difficulty for one and for two you need an endless mode and leaderboards to really increase this games value and to really allow this game to shine in its glory. You have a great game with great items and pickups but to really make this an awesome success you gotta add an endless mode( if you don’t know what that is it means you play until you run out of life) I hope this is seen by the developers because this seems like one of the most basic things a game like this needs. Thank you and I hope to see these things added it would be a shame if this game dies out because a lack of replay value.

Fun, but too short. I had a blast playing this, but I’ve gone through all the available levels and upgraded nearly everything to the max level in a mere 3 days. The endless mode is nice — but there’s going to be no point to it after all the upgrades are completed. What am I supposed to buy with my money, blueprints, and tokens? I suggest making the upgrades more expensive (this probably sounds awful to most people, but I think it’s needed for longevity), raising the level cap on upgrades (otherwise, why farm tokens?), and expanding the “arcade” options *significantly* (only 4 games to choose from isn’t fun when 3 are always available at any given time). Finally, none of the powerups/purchases from the main game make me any better at the mini games, and the obstacles seem so random that it’s hard to say I’m improving in any other way, or if the games even progressively get harder to begin with. For example, I “completed” the gravity race game very early on, which made me wonder why it had to end at all. Making me replay same game over and over for a handful of wires/screws/chipboards is the worst part about JJ2. Please add some other ways to upgrade badges, or again, add more arcade games so that it doesn’t seem like such a grind.

Fantastic sequel and addicting. This game is the perfect sequel to the original and follows what the gaming scene was like when it came out. Back when JJ1 came out it was all about the high score, but with JJ2 it gives you a proper story with upgrades, progression, weapons to use while progressing, and loads of different game modes if you get bored playing the story somehow. The character interactions are just amazing and got a lot of laughs out of me on my first play-through. I just wish that there were more vehicles to get because I’m still upgrading everything else but have nothing to spend my blueprints on. I pray that new vehicles get added as it would be so fun as having the same 4 over an over just gets repetitive. In the second lab you can see Mr cuddles in the background as a fossil and it would be so cool to get him back. But overall this game is so fun and gives you so many different ways to play.

Initially fun, but quickly runs out of gas. Like many, I played a lot of the original Jetpack Joyride. It was always a great option when you needed to kill a few minutes. At first I thought the sequel was exactly what I wanted: some new modes, a fun little story mode, new gameplay. But I exhausted all the fun parts of the game in just over a week! Now I’m max level, maxed out garage, maxed out jetpack, and nearly maxed out weapons. All I can do at this point is endlessly replay the last level of story mode or grind out materials in the Arcade (where none of your upgrades are relevant). If they add more story or (especially) an endless mode, they’d have something. As it is, it’s fun to play with for a week or two but then you might as well uninstall it.

What a fun game!!!👱🏼‍♂️. I am a big fan of Jetpack joyride 1 and usually game sequels are not that great. But oh my god this is so fun. I recommend this to anyone who plays the original game. I don’t have any complanets except that you should be able to play the endless mode earlier in the game. Because jet pack joyride is known for being an endless running game. But otherwise, great game and I love the kind of story that goes along with it. And the comedy. One more thing, lots of little kids play Jetpack joyride and in the story it said a bad word. Now I am not against bad words but some little kids may. And there parents too. So please fix that or put a warning somewhere. Thank you so much and please write back.

Just misses the mark. As a fan of the original, I was excited for this sequel release. It does have a lot going for it - I like the addition of the sectors, the upgrade systems, and the new combat/weapon system. Unfortunately it took only 1 day to fully complete the game. I now have no incentive to keep playing as it just continuously repeats the last stage. What made the original so great was that you could enjoy it for years, always chasing a longer run. The fact that there is no endless mode is a HUGE FAIL by Halfbrick, I’m honestly more shocked than Barry after tagging a zapper that they didn’t include it. It’s also a bummer that there is really only 1 vehicle to start - I’m not a huge fan of the space ship and gravity suit taking you out of the flow of the game as opposed to just adding a vehicle inside your run. They need to introduce an endless mode soon, or the replayability will remain almost nonexistent.

It’s over?. Update: the game’s been out for under a week, and I’ve already run out of content. There’s not even an endless mode — every time I play, there’s the final boss after 200-whatever thousand meters, and then the run ends. If I don’t feel like doing the same thing over and over, there’s literally nothing else to do in this game. There’s no way to try to beat your high score! This game has tons of problems, and is sorely lacking content. If it gets updated *quite* a bit, then it has potential, but as it stands I do not recommend it. ———————— Original review: I’ve only been playing for about an hour so far (the game only came out last night), but here’s my initial thoughts: 1. This is a worthy sequel: They kept enough to make it feel like the same thing, but added and changed enough that it doesn’t just feel like DLC. 2. It’s in need of some polishing — mostly QOL changes to the menu navigation and such, but I’ve also come across a handful of minor bugs and translation errors (I’ll email them to Halfbrick). It’s not perfect, but all in all, if you’re an Arcade subscriber and liked the original game, definitely try this one out! (This is just a quick review for now; I’ll write something more complete in the days or weeks to come.)

Fun but not long enough.. To the developers. The game itself is very enjoyable and really fun in the beginning. It even gets tougher as time goes on, but many of the skins are unavailable if you downloaded and played it after certain events have already passed. Then you cannot get at least 6 Barry skins as well as the girl skins. They aren’t available to purchase via jewels either. One you pass the 5th prestige, it’s done and I assume those skins cannot be obtained. Also, on several of the arcade challenges, the boomerang and bombs are off by several mm. The boomerang can go straight through a heart and it’s a miss. You can also miss a bomb by 2-3mm and it still explodes no matter what angle or how straight you look at the screen. That should tell you how much I liked the improved graphics as well as how much I enjoyed the game. Still 4 out of 5 stars. It appears that this game is the hook, and the goal is even though I pay the premium for Apple Arcade, the goal is to make customers on the pay game and give up the one the premium charge is supposed to cover. So developers, thanks for the improvements and the great entertainment from the game. Shame on Apple for not continuing to help the developers extend the game to that of its other game with multiple fees on top of the Apple Arcade fees.

Good for a couple of days and then wears off quickly. I loved the original. Played it for months at a time, would forget about it and pick it up years later and it was still entertaining. Something about trying to beat your high score. Easily one of the best endless runners ever made. Which is why it’s so dumbfounding that this sequel doesn’t offer an endless mode. Yes, at first this does seem like it’s as good as or better than the original in every way but after you spend a few days with it, beat all the challenges, and even grind the annoying arcade modes to upgrade everything, you’re left with nothing to do. I have 2 million + coins and 1000+ gems with literally nothing to spend them on. I assume that even once an update is released, I’ll breeze though it in no time due to the excess of coins and upgrades I have now. All of this could be fixed with an endless mode instead of forcing us to repeat the same level over and over and over again. I can’t believe how close this game is to perfection, but the simple omission of what made the first game great means that this one isn’t worth playing for very long.

Definite progression from the original. If you’re reading this, you probably loved Jetpack Joyride back in the day as much as I have. This game builds off the original in a lot of great ways. The only downfall to this game is that, unlike it’s predecessor, it definitely has an END. I played this game hardcore for 3 days straight, beat all the levels available and had all my weapons/vehicles/badges maxed out. **SPOILERS AHEAD** Now I’ve been logging in every so often to collect the rewards from the factory regularly and I have so much that I can do absolutely nothing with. If this game so much as added a mode for the endless running we all came to love, it would be perfect and easily 5/5 stars.

Truly an amazing game. I really really like this game I have never played the original before this, have always just seen it but never seemed fun to me then I saw this and it looked different. The graphics and gameplay is incredible but if you like the pixelated screen like the OG then this isn’t for you. As far as I know the OG is a endless run and this one has levels which I like. Again this game is a sequel with updated graphics and things like that so if you’re more into the OG look and style of that game then this game might not be the same for you but to me this is the easily in the top 3 Apple Arcade games

Some Suggestions. I really like the old and new game, however some things, like some vehicles being removed, aren’t very appealing. I understand that I could just play the original again, but I enjoy the gameplay this game offers, and I think that bringing them back to the sequel would be awesome. Secondly, I wish that the player would be able to access different weapons, like a shotgun that fires slower, but shoots three bullets in a column. It would help diversify the arsenal, and let players further adjust their gameplay. Thank you for listening.

Great game!!! Just one question…. This game is great!!! It might not be nearly as good as the original but to ignore some of the reviews here calling it “trash” it isn’t. This game has really good music and fun interesting new mechanics! At first I was like most of the people playing this game…I thought it was bad just because they did things differently than the original…but as I played through it more I really started to fall in love with the music mechanics and the bosses I also enjoyed the story too! I’m just curious though is there anymore after the final boss in Arctic industries or is that it? I don’t mean this in a harsh way I’m just genuinely curious of if that was the end of the game or if there is more to it…

Absolutely love it but need updates. I played the hell out of number one and now on this one am waiting for an update with 100k+ gold. I’ve maxed all vehicles and all but 3 weapons.

It doesn’t load. This game is great but sometimes the level doesn’t really load sometimes and I have to close and reopen the game but that’s the only flaw, overall it’s a great game

A-MAY-ZING❤️❤️❤️. This is best game I’ve ever played! It’s entertaining, fun and challenging!! I definitely recommend it.👍👍👍😆😃😄😁

review. game is good i love the new bosses but its lacking some old fetures (and some new ones) ill write down some here NEEDS ------- -add heads pants and shirts back -add some kind of season pass (so it doesnt get boring) -add some kind of high tier reward events for end game players -Mulitplayer mode -------------- Personal needs (things that dont need to be added but I want added) --------------- -Hazmat outfit (i love it) -more player icons -no gems just coins (no need for 1000 different curencys -Jetpack joyride 1 Home screen/GUI theme (it looks really good) -------------- Conclusion: Game is really good in general but lacks customizeablility other then that 10/10

The first game is a lot better. Some of the specials are worse than the pistol. The game overall is way easier, and there is no free play mode to get money fast for upgrades. Flamethrower doesn’t reach enemies on the far end of the screen. Some arcade modes are really easy while some are insane (looking at gravity suit). Coin magnet doesn’t work on bouncing coins. No way to skip the boss cut scene even if you have played the same boss multiple times. Game is very short and doesn’t give enough time to unlock many daily’s

Great but short game. Some great improvements over the original but can be finished in a day or two of medium play, very strange for such a high profile and anticipated sequel. Also seems to choke here and there on a 2 year old iPad Air (4th gen). Great game with awesome potential, hoping they release a ton of content and a proper infinity mode to keep us coming back.

is good. JJ1 didnt wrok so i have to play this garbage

Awesome, but a sound glitch?. This game is amazing, I play it almost daily. But I noticed recently that the music doesn’t play anymore. Even when you toggle the music on and off or delete and reinstall the game. The music is a great part of this game and it bothers me that I can’t listen to it when I play.

Needs more content. The game is great and a definite improvement on the original, but I’ve already completed all the levels. Please provide more content asap.

Jet packed over the shark a little bit. Maybe I’m out of touch, but the start stop of the tutorial kills the arcade action and pace of the game to the point I don’t even want to play. The original got so much right, I get that people want flashy effects and transitions and tutorials, but for me it distracts from the main event: the gameplay.

Great. Blew through this game and had a blast playing. It’s nice that they’ve turned the micro-transactions model on its head. Now that I’ve maxed out my Jetpack, vehicles, badges, and power-ups there isn’t really anything to do. I’d like to be able to replay levels again rather than just the last boss level.

Magnifico. Gran juego mejora mucho el 1 y sigue siendo entretenido

More please!. It's too short, I maxed out everything playing just a bit here and there over a few days... really enjoyed the game though, just wish there was more for me to do!!!

Good game but short. It’s a good game and improves on the original without being stale, however game is currently extremely short being able to complete all stages and hit max level all with thin 3-4 days of casually playing however I do think it will take a good month to fully upgrade all equipment and 100% it, hopefully updates with come frequently to mitigate the lack of content currently :)

Great game but needs content. The game is great but it needs some more content. Finished it in a few days except for 100% on all the items etc.

Fun but waaayyyyy too short. An improvement on the original in every measurable sense except for the fact the game is insanely short, which makes no sense as the premise is that it should be endless. Just add more enemies and more bosses and you could literally have an endless amount of levels. But now after a few weeks, I’m just collecting an absurd amount of coins, plans, and gems, with nothing to spend it on. Disappointing.

kinda good. i receomend you try it its not a scam

Feels half finished. Honestly just feels like a game that the developers are holding back content until they can aggressively monetise it. The game that’s there on Apple Arcade right now is fun but pretty limited content wise. This game can chug gets pretty slow frame times on iPhone 12 and 9th gen iPad.

how it is much better than the. Game is much better than the first version because they’re enemies and you can use guns it makes it a lot better I haven’t finished the game though I have level 2 autism The game is really easy but fun I don’t mind a lot of things going on

Crashes immediately. Since the last update I can’t play it on my iPhone at all. Works fine on my iPad but it crashes immediately on an iPhone 14 pro max immediately after the Apple Arcade loading screen. It has done this every single time and is unplayable.

Fun but…. Short and full of ads on the main screen. I thought AA weren’t supposed to have ads?

No end game. Great game but short and no real end game. Would be awesome to add infinite level like original as an option once game completed 👍

Crashes in bosh rush. Bosh rush unplayable crashes about 90% of the time

Good but…. Worth the download, it’s a good start on a sequel however.. - is way too short (finished it in 3 days) - need some open ended play - needs more from the original …. So basically… more!

Yeah didn’t have to wait for ads. Lots of action only wished it was free like it’s so expensive paying but it’s a good game

Awesome, couple glitches though. I’ve beaten the game and I can now access boss rush mode, but whenever I die in boss rush mode the game crashes. Other than that, it’s an awesome game and I would recommend it to anyone who liked the first game.

Good game, few suggestions. Fun game, with super quick story. Few things to add. 1. Free play mode - no limit on how far you can go 2. Quick play again mode on arcade games; remove game titles and load in animation - You spend half the time loading the game. Other than that it’s a good game, keep up the good work!

Black screen and froze after opened. Unable to play with black screen and the app is frozen.

Fun game, but is too easy to complete 100%. You can easily finish all achievements on this game in three weeks, and that’s only that slow because one of the achievements needs the reward from Day 21’s daily reward. No infinite mode is a big miss.

Crashed. The game keep crashing on me

I hate this Game. Its so bad you should never play this

This is NOTHING like Jetpack Joyride. I'm surprised they changed so much about the already successful formula, but my friends words speak for it better than I do so I'll Just say "It's so different that It's cursed"

Good Premise but a sensory nightmare to play. I enjoy the premise of this game but there’s absolutely too much going on on the screen at the same time. I absolutely would not recommend this game to anyone who has issues with sensory sensitivity, overload or overstimulation. I have never had a problem with any of these while playing a game, but this one left me with sore eyes and a headache after 10 minutes. The general visual noise is bad enough, with there being a thousand separate parts spinning around the place at any given time, but the worst is the creators seem to think that having the whole screen flash bright white is a great idea. There isn’t even a beak in between games when you’re just in the menu screens either so it’s just non stop. I really wish there were a way to turn down the intensity a bit. Cut out some of the extra flashing and some of the more irritating noises. Or at the very least reduce the flashing but there’s absolutely nothing.

Version 1.0.13: bug report + excellent runner/shooter game + how to make it better. BUG: Game will sometimes freeze at the start of a level (pressing the home-button, then opening the game again, solves the problem). Please fix. PROS: Terrific animation and sound effects - it’s like playing a cartoon. An improvement over the graphics in Jetpack Joyride+. Great game mechanics - for example, if you’re struggling on a level, it will provide more green health-gems. I like having levels, instead of it being an endless runner - there’s more purpose to playing. The missions provide another incentive to keep playing. The factory reminds me of playing Fallout Shelter - but without the in-app purchases that made Fallout Shelter hollow. The weapons and vehicles are a joy to use - stand-outs are the homing-pigeons and the Big Stomper. The mini-games provide a way to improve your control for the main game, as well as being a means to getting elements to upgrade the badges. Daily rewards that don’t cost anything or require you to watch an ad. It works great with a wireless controller. HOW TO MAKE IT BETTER: Add an endless-runner option, so that we can earn coins/gems that way too, instead of replaying the final level. Add the option to replay earlier levels. Remove the white-screen flashes - they’re unnecessary and can overload the senses. In the mini-games, like Footbot, show a countdown-timer instead of a stopwatch, so that we know how much time we have left to beat the mini-game. Also, in the gravity-run mini-game, make it clear that there are three laps to complete. Add more vehicles that are in Jetpack Joyride 1, like the DeLorean Time Machine and the Ecto-1 - currently there are three vehicles, which is too few. Add more outfit-skins and jetpack-skins, and make them available to purchase with in-game coins/gems. Make it easier to get elements to upgrade the badges - the mini-games can be a grind. Add the option to remove red-dot notifications from the badges - once you have maxed out the badges you want, it’s meaningless if the other badges can be upgraded. Put the badges and power-ups in alphabetical order. CONCLUSION: An excellent runner/shooter game, without the ads and in-app purchases that usually ruin this type of experience. If you liked this review, please long-press it and mark it as “helpful.”

Wonderful!. I’ve had so much fun playing this game, a great way to reminisce and kill some time. I love completing all the challenges and making my way through the levels. I am hoping for an update soon though, I am desperate for some more gameplay! Thanks for making such a fun game 🥰

Finally an update!. Should’ve included more content since day one… good game but gathering material for badge upgrade can be tedious with mini games

Unfair, makes the game too frustrating.. So I unlocked arcade mode and had an achievement to get 80,000 points on a game. That fruit ninja game is pretty much a roll of the dice if you will do well. Every single time I’d get in the 70,000s and run out of time. Almost every game I’d get one maybe 2 clocks I could try get it honestly feels impossible. Some games I’ll get one bomb and others they will throw 5 at the same time which will instakill you, how is this fun? I was getting very good at controlling it and getting the fruit but still I failed. I play games to relax not to get mad because the game is based on chance. If it were skill based it would be fine. Why not make it so you get the same amount of clocks and bombs each level? Why make it completely random?

Good Game, Fix these please.. All in all, it is a good game, but… it’s too short and need more content. My concerns are mainly small because I know this game is fairly new, but I have them nonetheless. Firstly, to start off, game needs more content. I say this only because I played the game myself and managed to beat it In 2-3 days, mind you I was sick and did have time off, still, if the game wants me to play for longer it’s going to have to get more content in it. I’m not confused as to why it is this way, but if you want to get all the achievements for the game you have to play for at least 21 days(to get all the jetpacks) and I don’t think this is good for retention when the game is this short. Secondly, the game has minor bugs that can be annoying but I don’t know if it is a problem only I have with the game. The problem entails try to play a run of the story mode(only story mod exists at the time of writing this I’m pretty sure) where the game will load and not start the run. To fix this all I did was exit the app and enter it again and it loaded. Thirdly, last notable issues and things about the game. The green tokens that you can attain from missions and the factory are pretty broken as to how much money it gives you per token use. The money rewarded is about 500-600 coins, now this doesn’t seem like a problem until you look at the tasks you can perform in the factory. You get a random selection of tasks that you can order and within a set period you can claim your reward and set another one. My issue is with the time spent on coins in comparison to tokens, it’s a bit broken with getting 3 tokens takes less time for 1500 coins and adds cards for upgrade weapons on top. All in all good game and I hope that Halfbrick can continue to build this game up more and more cosmetics like the first one.

Ideas for the game.. The game is very good, but i think it could use some improvements. 1. A random costume button. 2. Multiplayer. (seriously though, what ARE the accounts for?) 3. There is some glitches with the vehicles. (mostly the dino) 4. A countdown after you unpause the game. 5. Pressing the letter "p" to pause the game. I wish you could do more than 5 stars because i cannot express how much i love this game. :)

App is now crashing on my 9th gen iPad. The recent update restore the game on my iPhone, but it's no longer working on my iPad…

Half baked game from HalfBrick. The graphics are amazing and the new additions to the game are really fun, but there is little content to play through. This game is story based, but there is only 3 chapters and after a few days they were all completed. There are also a few arcade games but not much, and they didn’t even include an endless run mode which is absurd considering the first game was only an endless run game There is also 3 vehicles and a handful of jetpacks and outfits, most of which are locked behind a daily reward system. All-in-all it will provide some fun a few days but you will quickly loose interest doing the same few levels over and over again

Good but…. Good, an improvement, but why on earth did you keep the unskipable animations for power-ups, factory, etc. By the time you have seen these 10 times, they are AMAZINGLY IRRITATING. Please add an option to remove or skip the animations in the character screen (e.g. for power ups, the factory, arcade, etc. - no animation, or let players skip them) Apologies for the harsh review, but they are annoying enough to make playing not worth it. I have no idea if others feel the same way…

It’s ok.. The levels get longer and emptier as you go along. Betty and Barry randomly switch in cut scenes irregardless of who you use. The hero skins are mainly for Barry. For mindless fun, it’s ok.

Give me more!. I love the game, but after about a week of playing off and on, I've run out of things to do! I've reached Level 50 and done all of the available adventure levels. Vehicles are fully unlocked and leveled up. Same with the power-ups. I'm just finishing the upgrades for the last remaining badges--the ones I don't use anyway. I'd love to see more adventure levels, more vehicles, more cores, and an endless mode!

Not enough to do. The levels and story are a great addition to the original game. Same for the forward shooting mechanic and all the new power ups you can level up are great. The additional arcade modes are very very boring in my opinion, especially once you get a perfect score on all of them and they become a very slow, no action grind to try and level up badges. The last thing is, there’s a lack of an endless mode. I have most things packed to the max level except a few badges and power ups. I wish there was an endless mode so that I could enjoy to grind out the resources need to level up the garage, power up and badges. Please for the love of god, add another way to add materials for badges. The mini games are a dreadful 3-2 minutes and 1 badge upgrade requires you to play multiple times.

Great game, but not perfect due to last update.. The recent update introduced on November 24 2022 came with some pretty bad bugs. So far I have encountered multiple minor glitches, but one, in particular, is preventing me from progressing mid-run. On occasions, after a combat encounter with some of the minions in the newest stages (regular mode), the game will simply stop registering any further progress during the run. The gun will not automatically stop firing and the score counter will simply stop. The only way to get out of this infinite loop is to quit the run and loose all accumulated experience which makes it very tedious to progress since the bug can occur at any point during the run. If you are only starting the game now, I strongly recommend it. It’s a great upgrade from the original game. The customization content is very limited and there’s only 3 vehicles, but, overall, it’s a lot of fun. The stages and enemies are very varied and there’s a lot of potential going forward. If it wasn’t for the limited content, the unpredictable yet rare bugs and the repetitive end game loop. This game would be worthy of a better rating.

slurp. this game is waaay better that the 1st it don't even compare

Even better than the first. What a great game. Love how you have a health bar now. The game suffers from frame rate issues, especially when a lot is happening on screen. It happened on iPhone 13 Pro and now even my iPhone 14 pro. Please address the frame rate issues.

No cross save between iOS devices.. Terrible that this game has no cross save between devices. If I can’t have a saved profile between my iPhone and iPad, then it’s garbage to me. Deleting game now! Being on Apple Arcade and not having cross save is a joke.

Please update!!. I love this game! When will the new map be available????

Disappointed. The guns you shoot forward make no sense. And there’s a campaign. AND YOU HAVE TO SPEND FOREVER TO UNLOCK CLASSIC. just what happened to the classic arcade game

It’s not the same anymore... It’s kinda fun, don’t get me wrong, but its just not what I expected Jetpack Joyride 2 to be, I was very excited when I heard this was coming out and I was little bit disappointed when I played it for the first time, I’m about 15 stages in right now and I’m already kind of bored of it :/

Easter event bug. The progress just stopped before lvl5 cannot find any eggs in all game modes

Great Game but poor support. The game is fun to play and well designed! Works for all ages. I rated only two stars because I lost several hours of game progress and support is unreachable. I’ll update if they ever get back to me on this.

It’s okay. Daily check in rewards? A huge portion of Apple Arcade games from racers wanting you to grind for upgrades so you can get to a point were you can play the game competitively, or this one where there’s daily check in rewards seem like there just trying to keep your attention like a free to play game. Which makes me wonder if there is some serious flaws in Apple Arcade’s business model, makes me wonder if Apple still hasn’t figured out how to pay there developers in a way that doesn’t encourage them to make there games less enjoyable, in exchange for more attention. If that’s the case when it comes to some of the AA games, then we really don’t need Apple acting as the middle man. Apple Arcade’s failure to serve as a good middle man when it comes to gaming has driven me towards cloud gaming platforms like Stadia which I’ve spent over a thousand dollars on so far, in other words AA is going to have to do much better than this type of behaviour to get my business back. Update: Wow did that Stadia reference ever and blow back into my face. At one point I would have loved Apple to build a gaming platform like Stadia, but it’s clear to me at this point Apple is only interested in building businesses that they can use to force greedy Subscriptions on to people, so I never thought I would turn to the Nintendo switch for gaming, because it seems like unnecessary hardware, since we have the Technology to play even the best games on iPads, iPhones, and Apple TV’s. Unfortunately shame on us gamers for not supporting a gaming plat form like Stadia that gave us a chance to own the best video games in the world and play them anywhere on any device and made cheating in video games a thing of the past in the process(tell it shuts down of course), and it’s also disappointing that an insanely wealthy company like Apple can’t even make a simple little Indy game like Jet Pack Joyride 2 enjoyable without greed getting in the way, even after players agree to a forced subscription. I’m starting to think humans don’t deserve video games, the industry really didn’t have to be this way. As far as the actual game play goes, it’s okay, not great but okay as far as being fun to play, maybe it’s something somebody would enjoy when they just got up in the morning and are not in the mood for something too challenging.

No playtesting?. Who playtested the challenges, not only is it legitimately unplayable but it is all randomized so in most play-trough it is simply impossible. How is this game even supposed to be at the very least enjoyable. I know who the developer of this game is and I know for sure. Please make this dumb subscription that is Apple Arcade a little more worth it.

BOSS RUSH CRAsh. I recently completed my first prestige in this game. I have unlocked boss rush which never get finished after I die. The game/app Keep on crashing. I have recent version of the game as well as my iOS.

A lot of fun but upgrade path is slow. It’s a lot of fun and a great improvement on the first game. The biggest letdown is the arcade where rewards are tiny and it takes forever to upgrade any of the medals. The arcade matches are interesting but not that enjoyable. They are also too short. I highly recommend looking into adjusting those. Other than that, having a blast and we need some more costumes.

The first one was better. The addition of guns you shoot forward changes the game dramatically and makes it much less unique than the first. Moreover, the game has the structure of a gacha game even though there are no IAP in the Apple Arcade version. This means loot boxes, a lot of different currencies, and daily logins. Game also ties to trick you into enabling notifications by giving you "Yes" and "not right now" options but no "no".

très bien. ce jeur gratuit est fort appréciable

Crashes on boss rush after 6th boss. Boss rush crashes after 6th boss.

Good. Goodness

Wow!. Great improvement on the first game! Great work!!

Bugs with last update. Game is good, but several bugs since last update this week. Factory production time is now 17hrs for a level 10 upgrade. Wasn’t like that before. Also when playing new levels you have to exit the map and then go back in to play each new level.

Fun, but extremely limited replayability… so far.. Sure, this is fun, but there’s so much broken or illogical. Why does the Super Magnet badge claim to grab coins… but it doesn’t grab ALL coins? Why is the Boomerang an “epic” weapon when it’s just dreadfully awful to use? Why do mobs still drop XP tokens at max level? Why can you only replay the final stage and no others? Why does the end of each run or mini game still take an extra moment when counting XP “earned”… even though you’re at level 50? Why does the “explode 10 missiles” mission not count all missile explosions? If it’s meant to be “shoot down 10 missiles” then it should say that - if I intentionally run into a missile… I’ve exploded it and it should count. It doesn’t. Why are some of the mini arcade games crazy difficult and some are pretty easy to hit 100k points on? You would have to be almost pixel-perfect to hit 100k on the Gravity Suit mini game… and the taco game is just terrible with that awful cannon. Why do you end up with a glut of blueprints and gems at max level but coins are stupid hard to grind? The game needs a lot tuning and re-balancing. That being said, it IS enjoyable.

5 mins in disappointment. I don’t even really want to play anymore. What made the first one good was that it was really easy to pick up and play and now everything is locked behind upgrades and you can’t even just see how far you get. I expect this from freemium games but Jesus as an arcade title? No thanks . I’m sure I’ll hear “it gets better “ but honestly I’d rather play the first game some more

Ok but needs better control. Too hard to maneuver charectar

Needs some qol improvements. The game is fun but doesn’t have a lot of respect for your time. All the upgrade hub stuff has a bunch of menus and unskippable animations, and the levels themselves are way too long and get longer each time.

This game changed my life forever. This game is life changing. It made my life so much happier. It got me off my substance abuse issues and I’m back to being a proper member of society. My kids will finally get their father back.

Fun on iPad, crashes on TV. While the game is great fun (if a little on the easy side), it won’t open on my Apple TV, which is the reason I have Arcade. I hope that can be fixed soon!

Brings back memories!. Love the game! I like how you can upgrade your Jetpack now. ——— Edit: After spending some time with the game and getting to Sector 8, I’ll give a better review in the hopes of seeing some improvements of the game. First off, there is A LOT more to do in the game than the first one which is a huge plus! I love that there’s lots of things to collect and upgrade, from your Jetpack, Power Ups, Badges etc. The Sectors do feel about right in terms of how long they take to complete for quick sessions. Though there are times where I feel it’s way too short and I wanted to keep playing (even at full health). Just to see how far I could go. I wish there was an endless mode after clearing a sector or a “Continue” and get x2 Rewards but the difficulty gets cranked up the longer you survive. Would like to play with the different Power Ups more. Maybe even reaching that stage, when hitting a Power up, you get to choose between 2-3 and they are random each time. An endless mode would be awesome! Now they do have an Arcade mode which is similar to what I was hoping for, but it’s limited to it’s own game mode. Would love an endless mode when completing sectors, your choice to continue or go back to base. That’s not to say Arcade Mode isn’t fun, I’ve had a blast playing it and seeing how far I can survive and playing the different game modes keeps the game fresh and entertaining! Big Stomper does need a bit of work I feel, jumping and gliding in the air is hit or miss, timing it is difficult, not my favorite garage power up. Galaxy is a BLAST to play! Almost wish it lasted longer Haha! That’s my fav so far. Looking forward to trying out the rest as I progress! Here’s hoping the game will receive updates and expansions! You all did a great job on making this sequel of a classic game! 👏😄

Good but don’t like the last update. In the factory u have to wait like 17h for something, it was like 1hour and half before the last update.

Help?!. Game doesn’t open on my iPhone 14 pro max after I’ve tried re-downloading it and restarting my phone Whenever I can fix that I can confidently say this game is amazing

gg. good game

The 1%. I am amongst the top 1% on the leaderboard. Fear my greatness.

bugs and more bugs. still a bug on the sticker 22 of the last patch that even if you defeat the boss it doesn’t unlock. Also UI on appleTV is a mess even with a controler

Poop. Poop

Upgrade broke the game. I can’t play the Christmas update. The game crashes upon loading every time. That’s a shame. I enjoyed it while it worked.

GET. THIS. GAME. NOW.. It is a pretty fun and entertaining game. ESPECIALLY if you played the original Jetpack Joyride. Then I recommend it. It takes up low storage, good for all those GRANNIES who’ve already taken up most of their memories. If you have an Apple Arcade Subscription, GET IT. NOW.

New Update = Broken Game. Fully upgraded newest core and game crashes whenever I press play. I can play other game modes.

Keeps crashing. The last update fixed it, but it only works for a few times and then after that the app started crashing like it previously was before

iPhone 13 Pro iOS 16.2 crashes on launch now. Fix your game

Good but weird. It’s a great game but sometimes when I’m playing the game thinks you should be dead and things get increasingly difficult for example it gets faster and all rockets one shot you but besides that everything else is good very nice improvement from the first game.

Good but update. It’s very fun but you should add new gear, vehicles and levels

Why is upgrading everything is so tedious?. This game is a blast when you can actually play it. I love the new enemies that show up as you progress. The levels are fun and look great. The arcade modes are a fun addition. I love that you can upgrade your jetpack, inventions, and vehicles. My biggest frustration is that all the animations and screen taps you have to do for the upgrades. It’s excessive. Spend tokens? Three screen taps (in different places). So if I have 10 tokens I have to tap the screen 30 times (you get tokens a lot). Upgrade inventions or vehicle? Bright white screen flash then an animation individually updates 3 stats (and you do upgrades a lot). Redeem missions? Tap the screen 3 times to cycle through rewards. More clicking to redeem stuff in the factor (imo the whole factory portion could have been left out. It doesn’t really add any value). Basically everything in the game is like this. Why? So much time is spent tapping the screen and waiting for animations to play through. All of this distracts so much from actually playing the main game and arcade modes. It honestly becomes a chore and keeps me from wanting to play more. When upgrading the jetpack it’s a single click and it’s instantly done. No long animation. All of the upgrades should be like this. I’m really surprised there’s no endless mode as that’s the original point to the game.

Endless Mode. Thank you for adding endless mode 🙏

Fix your Easter egg in the lab.. Easter is done.. does anyone look at the game on your side?. All above

Excellent. Great follow up to the original.

Jetpack joyrides return!!!. This game was part of my childhood and I was addicted to it. Then like 4 years later, they made A SEQUEL?! I was soooo excited to play it. And when I did, I was MIND BLOWN. They have a story and dialogue now?! I know you guys just made it, but at some point I hope you add some more skins and robots. Specifically the robot dog and the zombie T. rex. Ps I love the little fruit ninja reference on one of the jet packs. Another great game. So yeah overall great game 10/10!

Awesome game to play on the toilet lol. I love playing this game especially when I’m dropping the browns off at the Super Bowl. Good upgrade options just wish the Jetpack would change appearance and start to increase in size for better dynamics! Or something along the lines of that. Wish the area after Arctic was available because at this point I’m just maxing out my upgrades and at this point I’m almost ready to delete this and move on just saying! Get wit it and drop an update already!!

Great game but Gravity Suit is SUPER bugged. I have been playing Jetpack joyride since the first one was fresh. I love that this one has story missions, an endless mode, and several things to unlock. However, my biggest gripe at the moment is that the Grav Suit is very buggy. I will tap the screen and arrows will pop up indicating he should switch sides, but he’ll continue running in the same space. Please fix as this can ruin some pretty good story and arcade runs.

Fun game, needs more to do.. This game should not have released just yet. I understand updates are on the way, but here I am with 800k coins, 600 gems, 800 blueprints, and absolutely nothing to spend them on. The game took me a little over 1 day to complete and after that I only had the few mini games to 100 percent which wasn’t much a challenge at all. I can’t help but feel if this was a “freemium” game it would have more content at this point because there would be an opportunity for the developers to make more money, instead of the flat rate that Apple Arcade pays.

The game we all needed. As this was a game from my distant childhood, seeing this once again almost made me cry. Instantly I bought Apple Arcade and got the game, this added new limits to Jetpack joyride that even I never knew I would enjoy so much. Not that very Grindy on the gems side and you find yourself in the arcade too much for you too handle. Also with story that is not that very bad (unlike almost every other mobile game) and a classic side scroller I found myself unable to sleep at night. I would rate 6 stars but the limit is only five

Fun and challenging, but…. Super fun game with lots of leveling up and different choices on how to do that. Smooth streaming and good graphics as well. What is super frustrating is that the progression is pretty much upside down. Every time I grind to level up, enemies level up even more, to the point that I’m getting less than half the distance on Endless than at my first couple levels. It keeps you playing, but at the expense of feeling like spending on leveling up is pretty pointless. The best games I’ve played keep you feeling powerful while still having some challenging elements as you level up. This one falls a little flat there.

I missed this!!. I played the original so much and this is definitely a nice hit of nostalgia. I wish that in arcade there was a sort of infinity mode where you just see how far you can go like in the original. The main missions are nice and I appreciate a good background of the overall story, but I could do with a little less dialogue. I already finished the levels and am waiting for more, come on halfbrick give us more!!!

Disappointingly easy. This game has much of the appeal of the original but I have to express my disappointment at how easy it is. In just casual playing, I beat this game in a little over a week, with only the final boss fight giving me any real challenge whatsoever. The game promises more levels in the vaguely defined future but if I continue to play casually my character will be nearly unstoppable as I collect money and power ups. It’s entirely plausible that my character will have maxed everything out by the time new levels are introduced.

Felt Rushed but now a year or 2 later it’s perfect. Back when this game first came out there were barely any levels and the game didn’t even have and endless mode. Also when you finished the game you had a bunch of resources laying around with nothing to do with them. All of the reviews about this are out of date because they have found solutions to all of these. In my opinion this game is nearing perfection with the recent updates.

I highly recommend. The game is as good as the first, and it has more too instead of just pressing a button and going and customizing a jet back now it where u can upgrade which is amazing in my opinion I like how there is more instead of just dodging the lasers and missles now it’s where there are bots which are after you which makes it so much fun I thank the creators of this game for making it as fun and maybe more fun then the first one

Fun but the endgame needs tweaking. Mostly a fun game. However, once you beat the last boss and max out your level, there’s not much to do beyond grinding out more levels for power ups. That alone wouldn’t be terrible, but there’s no level select so you are stuck replaying the same level and boss. It would be nice if you could select a level to replay or if there was a boss rush or something like that. Edited to add that there’s also an endgame issue with the missions. Currently one of my missions is to upgrade my jetpack. However, I already have maxed it out so I’m stuck with the only two active missions.

Non-endless runner. Great game and a fun continuation of its predecessor. However, easily completed within a few days. Your level is capped, as well as stage selection being unavailable, endgame is simply replaying the last level over repeatedly to max out gear. Also, animations can’t be skipped so a lot of time wasted every time you close a level or even upgrade equipment. Definitely fun to play, just short and in need of an update.

Pretty good. I’m enjoying the game so far; pretty similar to the old one if you played that one, with of course more variety. Still very fun. The one thing I’m not enjoying that seems weird is how much like a free to play game with microtransactions this feels like. There are at least 4 currencies and wait-to-upgrade mechanics and all the things that free to play games are known for, just with no purchases. Bleh.

Solid game but lacks the magic of the first.. This game is fun. The controls are as simple as ever but the gameplay remains satisfying. I enjoyed the story mode but without some kind of endless mode the game lacks longevity. The arcade mode is amusing, but gating upgrades behind arcade modes is annoying. I really wish there was only one or two currencies. There are effectively 5 or 6 (more?) with “parts” needed for certain upgrades and two types of gems and of course coins. It feels like a free to play model but without the free to play. Not a bad game, but if you have never played the original jet pack joyride maybe start there instead.

Best game I can possibly imagine. So this game is super fun and also it’s easy to share and when you get the hang of it you get a lot of this and it’s exciting because also you can get a Santa Claus suit and Christmas isn’t even to close but I still love Santa who wouldn’t love Santa OK beside the point though this game is super fun just I need to be a little bit more harder because I keep on winning basically my first try without even dying

My Second Review!. Hello! This is my second review for Jetpack Joyride 2! I just want to say that this update has just about EVERYTHING I wanted to see! I love the stickers, the new suits, and especially the new Wild Wild Rex vehicle that is basically the Google Dino game. If I didn’t already say in the last review, this game is one of my favorites on my IPad. I love it and hope it lasts at least a few more years. Thank you! Bye! 😀

A great sequel, but why Apple Arcade only?. Okay, this is a great sequel to the original, and I love everything about it, but the fact that it’s exclusive to Apple Arcade may leave a really bad impression for a few. The original game is loved by many, and making its sequel a apple exclusive and behind a pay wall will just leave people with a bad taste. But that doesn’t stop the game from being great and in my opinion, worth 5 stars. progression is great, the gameplay is great, everything is a upgrade to what the original is, and I really recommend trying it out.

Not much replay value. So they took a classic endless runner and gave it an ending? The new gameplay and items are fun and a wonderful update to the original, but there’s only a few hours of gameplay here. You’ll finish the game long before you finish any upgrades on the new item system. You can repeat the final level as many times as you want, but even with moderately upgraded weapons/vehicles/power ups it’s a trivial encounter. Didn’t even get through the first week of daily rewards before I had nothing else to do in the game. Was great fun for the few hours I put in, but there’s nothing to come back to after it’s done.

Almost there. After more than a few hours of play, I’ve managed to max upgrade all of the vehicles. Why do I have a mission, that can not be removed, that says upgrade a vehicle? There is no endless mode and I’ve beaten Mik so many times that I let myself die at that point. Jetpack core is maxed, most weapons are maxed. Arcade mode is so dull I don’t want to upgrade the gadgets. Still, I find myself coming back to this one over the original several times a day. The game isn’t the cash cow the original has become but it still needs some love from you guys.

No complaints. UPDATE: finished the game so far. THE BG MUSIC FOR THE ARCTIC LEVELS IS A BANGER! I legit want to download it to play in the car. Use headphones with bass to hear the full glory of the song. Definitely keeps things interesting and makes it fair and easy to upgrade and progress… but some minor and unobtrusive bugs like switching characters between Steve and Betty randomly for some dialogue bits. Overall well done. Wish there was a “claim all” or “skip all” button for more than 3 tokens, as well as mission tracking so you know how close you are to knocking over 180 scientists.

I wish that Apple would knock it off. Apple should stop green-lighting games that have IAP busywork elements. No one is willing to pay for an Apple Arcade subscription just to play a game that has the same exact “free to play” IAP elements that many terrible games have on the regular Apple Store. Wasn’t Apple Arcade birthed from the idea that people should be able to actually enjoy games that are ad-free and IAP free? I’ve spent upwards of $30 dollars on a game that a development team put many hours and work in, a development team that doesn’t care about ads or greed or IAP. It’s about time for an App Store and Apple Arcade deep cleaning, otherwise the store will have a lot of junk scattered about similar to a hoarder’s home. The original Jetpack Joyride from many years ago was a blast. This newer version “ain’t it”.

What a good sequel. Usually sequels never live up to their predecessors but this is an exception. There’s so much to do in the game and the level based system is so much better in my opinion. Especially because they didn’t outright remove the endless mode that the first game was based on and instead just made it optional which I 100% agree with. Definitely worth playing

This is a Mobile Game I’ll play till 2a.m.. I’ve been playing this game since I can remember. Feels like a decade! When I got notification that a second one was coming soon I was so ready! They. Did. Not. Disappoint! 20minutes in and I’m obsessed. Cannot wait to continue this! I wish there were ways to spend all PowerUp Tokens and the PowerUp Upgrade Stat animations could be sped up slightly since they aren’t skippable

Blast from the past reboot. I played the original for hour and have done so with Jetpack2. A great game with fresh updates and stages adds to the fun. My only complaint is that once you clear a stage you can’t play it again. I have gotten to the end of the game at this point and can only play the last stage over and over which has gotten boring. Hopefully the developers will read this and unlock the previous stages.

Jetpack Joyride 2 Review. I’ve played countless hours playing the first one and had a blast playing it. I have only been playing the second one for maybe an hour and am IMMEDIATELY hooked. Very fun and lots of different gear to play for unlocking and upgrading. Each run feels unique in its own right and has its own pairing challenges you unlock for MORE MATERIALS. Truly well done. 🫡

Awesome game so far. Only just came out, played a few hours today and really enjoyed it! Been a long time fan of jetpack joyride and this was by no means a disappointment. My only worry is all the “coming soon” that I’m seeing, but like I said it just came out and i’d imagine there’ll be frequent updates so it’s whatever. Great game definitely check it out!

So frustrating. As soon as you start up the game you are greeted with an un-skippable tutorial. Why?? It’s a 10 year old game with very simple mechanics. Just by playing the game for 10 seconds you can learn everything there is to know. You don’t need exposition and dialog to explain how this game works. It even explains what the score counter is! Even non-gamers have heard of this complex concept. I get that complaining about such a small section of the game is kind of silly but it is your first taste of the game. Why can’t I just start playing the game and having fun? I promise I can figure out what score, bosses, and power ups are. Sometimes it’s even more fun to learn by doing.

He’s back!. Super impressed with this so far. They seem to have kept the stuff that worked from the first game, expanded all of it, and added a bunch of new content. Only problem I’ve had is performance gets a little frame-skippy on my iPhone 13 Pro when a lot is happening, which can be tough for a game based on movement. Looking forward to playing more, with the added bonus of it being on Apple Arcade, so no predatory MTX (so far anyway.)

Fun game, but needs an option to turn off the fully immersive mode. I can’t use any other apps or see my environment while playing this game. That wouldn’t be a bad thing if the fully immersive environment were crucial to the gameplay, but it’s just to enhance the aesthetics. I like having the option to play the game in that environment some of the time, but I’d play the game a lot more if it allowed me to still have other apps open and also had pass-through support.

Great Game with a new twist. Love the original Jetpack joyride. This game brings a new story mode and an actual purpose to the game which the first one didn’t have. Love the concept and product. Personally, the bosses are WAY to easy. The only mildly difficult one was Mik which is the last boss. I would love more of a grind rather than plowing through the campaign with no resistance. Overall, I recommend this game. Very fun.

Needs an endless mode. The game has been out for 2 weeks or so, and I say it’s a pretty great game. The only problem I have is that once you beat every level you’re stuck fighting the final boss over and over. If Halfbrick added an endless mode or some form of level selection screen then you could do a different level because beating the same boss over and over can get repetitive and boring. Overall it is a fantastic game and I would have done 5 stars if there was an endless mode.

Fun, but…. Needs MAJOR update to expand missions. ENDLESS mode is also enjoyable but becomes increasingly and impossibly difficult with faster enemies and missiles. If you’re going to give us an ENDLESS mode, actually make it endless by keeping the same pace, or, allow me to spend 3 gems to continue the game more than once. This game has potential, but right now it’s repetitive and boring. UPDATE 12/17 - Game won’t open on my iPhone 13 Pro. I usually play from my Mac, but it would be nice to play it mobile.

Fun, Quick game. The game is fun and can tell improvements have been made. The story/play is rather quick to beat and your left playing last level over and over again. There is an arcade mode that can help rank up vehicles/abilities once game is beat and you max out at level 50. After completing game it's pretty much pointless to play. Should be an endless mode to complete with other players or just more modes. Decent game just don't expect to play for to long as beating this game is very quick with no multiplayer or other achievements.

Extremely good sequel, just some questions…. I REALLY like this game, I wasn’t really a fan of the original Jetpack Joyride, but the whole upgrading system here is honestly really good and gives a bit of a refresher, similar thing with the whole Story Mode aspect, I just wish there was a way to switch between that and the original endless runner. I do have some a question though. First of all, why would you put this on Apple Arcade? 4.99 per month is a bit much for a sequel to a free game.

Love it!. I’ve always been a big fan of the original game,so when I found out they made a second one I was so happy. This sequel has hreat gameplay and addictive level design. This game could not be better! Just hope that more content is being developed because I’ve almost completed the game on the second day of playing it!

So far so good. I’ve played the original Jetpack Joyride since its release. This one takes the same beloved style and formula , and brings so much variety and added charm. The graphics are improved just enough while retaining the cute style of the original. The dialogue is a blast and fits well. And the level structure is great, providing nice incremental goals absent from the original “endless” style of the first. I can’t wait to spend more time on this one!

A perfect game?. Just so much fun. Controls, graphics, pacing. All perfect. Only wish is the ability to play older levels from the map screen. Once completed, you can only play the same final level over and over (well, plus the arcade stuffs). Would be great if we could pick any level, just to mix things up. Actually, a couple of other small wishes. 1) bigger fonts (I’m old!) and 2) claim completed missions automatically.

Best Arcade Game!!!. I don’t usually write reviews for games, but I had to for this one. Jetpack Joyride 2 has many improvements that the first one didn’t have. The graphics are great, and the gameplay is smooth. I love how it has sectors (chapters) and boss battles. One thing I will suggest is maybe and free play mode, where you can do the classic endless run style and different maps. ( this wouldn’t count for xp]) Great Job Halfbrick!!!

Best sequel. Jetpack Joyride 2 is AMAZING I almost have all of the beach getaway items! I like how you added characters and costumes the best part is the story mode and I like how you added back endless mode I started playing this game ( which I mean the first 😅😅😅) when I was 3 or 4 I am nine now but I like this game and it’s fun so yea good bye halfbrick make more episodes of rock opera and that try doing some jet 2 vids to

The best game ever not like Roblox though. I get four stars first because it takes a pretty long time to get a new power of upgrade. Second on factory why can’t I get any coins?? third there’s not too many suits for your character. Also why does it take such a long time to get arcade and The different thing. I like Roblox the most because it has like infinite games I hope Roblox reads this writing. Last why are some of the clothes ripped??

Even better than the first. I loved jetpack joyride 1. I had several hundred medals and all of the gadgets. Then the new content riddled with cmicro transactions came. I stopped playing right about then, checking in every once in a while just to see how this game I loved was doing. But this, this is the game I wanted. I love the new direction in side games and set distances for a level. This makes the game much easier to play. And the subtle changes that come when micro transactions aren't a driving design factor are evident throughout the game play. And I love it. Well done halfbrick.

I love this game but... This is for the devs, the power ups are almost a power down except a few of them, with the last core/weapon upgrades, the damage output from the powerups scale down instead of up and some firing mode makes you miss some enemies/rockets and actually makes it harder to survive, for some reason j can't unlock the new upgrades from the latest patch, it says in the marble book i have to unlock new things and defeat new enemies but there's nothing new in the game?? Please fix the power up issue or just rename it to power down

Great game, bad power scaling. I’ve been playing this game since it dropped. Content takes a bit longer to release than expected. Also would like to see more cosmetic options! My biggest issue is spending coins to level your Jetpack core to max, then the next level you play everything immediately scales to a difficulty above the core, super annoying. The whole reason I spend coins to upgrade the core is to make levels easier not to have everything immediately scale and be just as difficult as it was previously

Several times better than the original!. I played a lot of the original. The sequel is so much better in every way: better graphics, humorous story, the ability to upgrade your Jetpack, health, and attack, additional power ups. Just this game alone is worth the subscription to Apple Arcade. Great job, guys! 👍 The only complaint I have is I’m right handed, but i have to use my left thumb so I can see what’s approaching

The same event over and over is not adding content. I loved the game but found it short. You actually added additional levels, bosses, stickers. Now the only thing you do to update content is put a slightly different holiday skin on the same stupid event. I don’t need to chase pumpkins or lights to complete missions ~ that is already into the game. You know you are cheaping out. Since this is the only game I play with Apple Arcade I will be dropping the subscription. Also the new interface makes it very unpleasant to go from endless mode back to the missions. Why add the extra screen. Half brick used to make great games. Please stop screwing around.

Too easy too short. Huge fan of the original and enjoyed this one at first but realized early on this is a watered down or at least incomplete game. The levels are short, the bosses easy, and I maxed out everything in a fairly short amount of time. A limited amount of vehicles, jetpacks, etc… I hope updates come more quickly in the future otherwise it’s too boring playing the same level or and over again

Where are the jetpacks?. I was a huge fan of the first jetpack joyride and when I saw this I got really excited since its been a LONG time since I played the first. The game is fun but one of the most important things is missing. ALL THE JETPACKS, as far as I can tell this game has been out for a while and there is probably only 10 jetpacks you can use, this was one of the most fun aspects of the first game where you could unlock all the fun jetpacks but seeing that there is so little here is super dissatisfying.

Amazing sequel, needs an update. I LOVED the original game, and absolutely LOVE this sequel! I feel it’s hard to find a good game that has a good sequel that comes after it. The only complaint I have, is that there needs to be more levels, and more sectors as I’ve already maxed out most of what’s there! There also should be an endless mode, as a callback to the original game and maybe some more arcade mode options as I feel I’m repeating the same thing over and over.

Great game, updates needed!. This game is a great new addition to the Jetpack Joyride series and I have been glued to it since it came out! The only thing I don’t care for is how short the story is so far. I’ve maxed out every stat, every power-up, and I’m working on the last few badges. I’ve amassed over a million coins and gained every achievement and once I finish upgrading the badges through the arcade games I’ll have nothing left to conquer. I know it takes time and I want y’all to do it right but we need more content please!

Great game over all. Great game over all I love everything about it! I only wish you could revive yourself multiple times instead of just once when you die like in the first jetpack joyride There is one problem with the newest recent update to the game when playing in mission mode you get to a certain point in a level where there is a glitch where Berry keeps going but enemies stop appearing and Berry’s traveling distance stops being tracked on screen please fix this
