Needs more work. I am a person that loves this game i love to so much i had to have everything unlocked every weapon every little thing. My phone broke and i needed it to be fix in fact i had to get a new phone i download the game again and i lost everything. You should have a RESTORE PURCHASES button to start were you left off and or from the cloud pla make it happen i paid 100 bucks for everything don't let it go to waste

Love the game it is amazing. I love it so much it is amazing the only issue is it needs to be longer and maybe some more weapons types for the colors

Peak 2013 game and still is but needs more updates. Hey half brick I just wanted to say thank you for bringing this amazing game back I loved playing it as a kid back in the day, i redownload it again and nostalgia hit me like a rock, still very fun but it feels exactly the same which is kinda bad I was expecting more powers and gadgets and even new places to destroy when you guys released it again Please take your take time on updates there is no rush, I want this game to be great as possible you have made some great games that aged like fine wine. No need for a rush take ur time I hope we get to see what your teams creativity has to offer! And from a. Veteran player for sure this game deserves to be updated.

Edit Menu. You can literally access the developer menu in the game if you go to the armory, and double tap with four fingers on the part where you select the segments

Old Reviews are bad. Most reviews are just “update the game” and “it’s so pay to win”. I just want to let anyone that sees this know that it finally got updated after 8 years and there are now no in-app purchases to be seen.

One and only problem. Awesome game!! I've been playing it for a while now and everything's great except for one thing. When I hit 11th prestige, nothing was added on to the prestige medal thing. Is there a cap??

Happy to see that it’s back!. It’s been 7 years and I thought we would never see this game again but I’m glad halfbrick proved us wrong. Absolute gem of a game.

In Need of Update. Y'know I purchased this game back when it wasn't free to play and it was fun for the first couple of times, but the campaign is extremely short there hasn't been many updates. Right now when I launch the app, a notice appears telling me there's an update, but this is obviously a glitch because there is no update. It's honestly insulting enough when a game you pay for goes F2P without any compensation for those who supported it beforehand, but the fact that this game has pretty much been abandoned by the developers is the most upsetting. Is it really that hard to add progression rewards? Like every 5 levels (from completing the game) permanently gain a gadget? Or maybe make a few new campaigns?

Desperate need of updates. Halfbrick, please, PLEASE hear me out, I loved playing this game back when it was free, and it was a great game, had a good concept, cool monster, and all kinds of things, but now, the game is feeling a little bit old, even though you just bought it back, we could use some more things like more color power cores, new gadgets, maybe even new enemies, or maybe even a new level like a new planet to destroy? Anyways, please update this game to the best extent, I am not saying this game is bad, it’s still good, but it could actually could use more content and weapons, that is all, Thanks.

Great game. I have no idea how to play this game, it seems pretty weird but I love the colors and I love blowing stuff up! This is a great time Wednesday it's fun for me and the kids

Crazy destructive fun. This game is like if you mix Godzilla with a snake and a battleship you would get Colossatron. It's a game full of charm and a Destructive madness. It's impossible not to pick this one up for your iPad or iPhone or any device for that matter it's just that fun. 10/10

Boring and confusing. You can't control much, so you're just waiting until a pod shows up and then dragging it to wherever is the best spot, which is difficult to know, because they don't lay out the pod combinations and it normally goes into a different spot than I wanted. It could be a good game with some major changes: allow snake control and have the game pause or slow down when you lift your finger to grab a pod.

Amazing. This is one of my favorite games now and I'm addicted to it really fun and just because it's old doesn't mean it's bad this game is worth the money (I actually got when it was free app of the week) I would definitely recommend this p.s the game has some pretty good humor at some times

It is as beautiful as the day we lost it. The gameplay is simple and fun, and hasn’t changed a bit. I love it

Fun but no replay value. The campaign is pretty short. After you beat it, there's no real incentive to play it again. It's mainly survival mode after the game is beaten, and that gets boring after a while too. Until the developers create new content for this game, I'll leave it off my phone.

Superb game! But questions arise. This game is addicting, quite challenging, and overall fun! BUT, now that its been re-released through halfbrick+ services is there plans for future content if ever?

No way to reset progress. This game looks cool, and I’d like to try it out, so I installed it on my iPad and left it there to play it later. Then my friend came along and played it on my iPad before I had a chance to try it. They were signed into my Halfbrick account, so all of their progress got saved to my account. Now I’m ready to try the game, but the developers provided absolutely no way for me to reset my progress, so I’m screwed. Reinstalling the app doesn’t work, since the progress is tied to my Halfbrick account. Pathetic.

Pls more worlds. I played the whole game but at the end I thought there would be more then i tried the surviving challenge but it was quite to easy

Destruction game with no end goal. If you’re in the need for some destruction, this is the game for you. The only thing is that there isn’t an end goal. Once you destroy all 7 countries, you earn a medal and go back to square one through prestige. Why rebuild the world just so it can be harder to destroy the next time? I’m not in it for getting a high score. Can you just make it a little more speedrun-able?

A great game by halfbrick studios. I’m so happy colsotron (sry if I can’t spell anything right) is back!! I beat it on one of my old tablets put then sold the tablet. I was so happy when i saw p 2 came out plus the og. The only bad thing about it is it keeps saying get half brick plus witch It doesn’t let me get out of the add, wasting my game time. That is the only thing keeping me from a five star review though. Otherwise great game and I highly recommend it.

Update. You should make it that you can battle against people

Boring. Semi fun game at first but gets boring very fast based off of the fact that you can't control the snake all you can do is add parts to it and there's not really much variety in the parts would be much better if you had any control really at all but you don't. (Side note, it's also very cheesy and slightly cringey but that's not something worth mentioning to be honest)

Glad to see it back, but the level of content could be more.. Glad to see Colosatron back in action, but the game is exactly the same as to how it was when it first released. It needs more. New weapons, new enemies, new upgrades etc. Just an overhaul on many things.

Fun game but has performance issues. I downloaded this because it was featured as the weekly free game. I have played various games from time to time and this is the first time my iPhone 7 plus has really struggled to smoothly play something. This is a really fun game trying to build up your "attack snake robot" with different turrets. When I get to parts where there are a ton of enemies around me the game stutters hard, like 1-8fps. I don't know if this game is running the Metal API but it's really spanking my phone

What’s the hold up?. I’ve played plenty of your games in the App Store this was by far one of the best yet it has no meat to it (or veggies)still no major update or even a tiny one? I get it maybe it’s not a concept built to be a money-making machine based off of p2p. Yet I do believe I’m not the only one who was sadly disappointed to not even be offered an expansion or sequel.

Misunderstood. There are many reviews complaining about the fact that you cannot control ur snake. That concept is actually a really good game concept, since the main gameplay involves construction and management of the pods and combining them. It always gets to a point where the snake gets so big and hard to manage that the snake freely moving is very helpful. there are also perks that allow you to control aim of modules or like focus fire. This is a very fun game that is misunderstood greatly by people who havent played this game to the fullest extent.

Sandbox mode. Add a sandbox mode where you can use what ever weapons you want and how many you want like if I wanted 20 black generators i could but you should not get any coins or prisms from it

One of the best. I have deleted and download this game many times and each time it is super fun. It has so much to offer great visuals and just great

Transformers meets SNAKE. A Michael Bay film.... lol, I've played this game before and while it is fantastic, it gets repetitive and slightly hard, for no reason. And as to why its a game of the week/ free app... why?? You still have to buy the gem thingies.... whats the point to a free app when you still gotta pay for the app purchases... sad, but oh well Half Brick games are the best.

So much Potential. It lags like hell due to millions of enemies and weapons onscreen at the same time, people complain about IAP(I didn't have that though) there haven't been updates, and the voices of the characters are repetitive and annoying. This game was really fun at first, but these horrible flaws ruined it. Unless the game is updated to fix them, don't buy Colossatron. It's a shame such a good game was ruined by so many things.

RIP Colossatron. I have been playing this game since 2013. It was a great time killer on long overnight shifts and very replay-able. Finally uninstalling after the dev started forcing account creation. I enjoyed the game for a consistent 10 years. This is a great game and it will be sorely missed.

The update. It just allows you to open the dev console so you can mess around tap it it with three fingers and do it twice

The return of a (lesser known) legend. I remember playing this game on some random tablet when I was younger, wasting away hours and hours. I was very sad on the day when I came to the App Store only to find a great game lost to time… But the Colossatron always finds another way… Another way to return and destroy… Another way to once again waste away hours and hours… Today was a good day, a favorite game I thought I lost forever, once again available for down load. The Halfbrick gods have smiled upon us And we are blessed Thank you Halfbrick, you did good, and keep it up

It’s a good game. Personally I’ve never had problems with this amazing game, I got it when it first released, and it’s still super awesome today, if I were you I would give it a try, it’s free anyways and you can always delete it later, happy gaming

Great concept but.... I really like the concept of this game. I like that I don't control where Colossatron goes and can use power-ups to assist with that. I like managing the power pods and what colors they will be, in what order and intensity. I like all the gadgets and the power-ups that you can find in each level. What I don't like is the news theme. I hate the "news updates" that pop-up in the middle of the game. I considered never playing this game again until I realized I can turn off the voices. Now I don't have to listen to the news anchors/reporters and general talk. I wish all of the news stuff was optional and could also be disabled in the settings.

Absolutely love this game!. Halfbrick is an awesome set of game developers. They got me hooked on their games with Jetpack Joyride, and they happened to mention Colossatron in one of their in-game adverts, so I figured I’d check it out. This game is absolutely beautiful in both gameplay and graphics, and it’s my new go-to each time I find the need to kill a few minutes. Awesome job to everyone at Halfbrick for a wonderful job well done.

Amazing work!. I was pleasantly surprised when “match 3” did not at all mean what I thought it did. I like how Colossatron moves on its own so you can focus on upgrades. Very creative and fun game. Also gave me the gold Colossatron in Jetpack Joyride.

Please Update!. Of all the games that have been released for iOS over the past 15+ years this one is in the top few of my favorites. Seeing it getting some new attention is awesome! Please update it so that it is formatted for newer devices and please please add some new content!

Please. When I first played this last year, it instantly became one of my favorite iPhone games of all time. However, I got a little bored of it because it got very repetitive. If possible, please make a huge new update with tons of new stuff, weapons, features, or even new game modes. Thanks a lot guys, I really love your games. God bless.

Is deserving of Five Stars but needs a update. Great game I love the gameplay mechanics of the game but it needs more content. Honestly if you add maybe a new type of colossaltron or a new campaign say in space it would make the game better.

Needs more power. I feel that if there were more colors to gain other than the six than there would be a much diversity and challenge to get through each level. There also needs to be more levels to play at least two more

Best game ever!. Best half brick game in the world!( wait I destroyed it) I have a idea for the game though there should be a team game mode you should be able to have friends by searching there user name and there should be a PvP mode

Super awesome but.... The campaign is kinda short, but here's a solution to this. Difficulties, easy, medium hard and extreme. Each with their own progress, and on the harder difficulties the weapons could do less damage, have less armor or the enemy could do more damage and or have more health, or just simply more enemies. Oh and also it would be super cool and awesome if you could mix three of the giant power cores to make massive core that takes 81 (3^4) norm power cores.

4 years old... geez... This is getting ridiculous... Whoever is in charge of content on the App Store needs to be fired. This game was already free at one point and it's super old. I love half brick studios, they make great games, but they haven't updated this dinosaur since 2015. When a game is chosen to be the free app of the week, it instantly skyrockets in downloads. This game was already popular, why not show some love to one of the new awesome indie games so they can get some recognition. I've spent hundreds in the AppStore like every body else now how about hooking us up by giving us something good for free. Your making millions and millions of dollars on downloads, you can afford to give the people a 5 dollar app or game for free. Also, I actually really liked the "what we're playing today" section, it was a good way to find some sleeper games, old and new, unlike the terrible "more games you might like" section with suggestions that have absolutely nothing to do with games you actually play. Another low point is the editors choice section, a "pay to win" packed crap-fest full of mostly big company money grabs and a few gems. I mean seriously NBA 2k17 and slash heroes??? Did you even play those games man what are you like 12? It just seems like it gets worse every week, can't wait for next weeks awesome 6 year old puzzle game. Yay...

Meh. game originally, new owner’s self-serving “update” just forces glitchy account. TL;DR: M-E-H, Meh. gameplay. Humor dies when dialogue repeats exact same lines every level. Simplistic, poorly designed UI ruins any tactical element. Gets boring fast. If you have prior game progress & came back for “update,” setting up the new halfbrick acct. will erase it. Oh, and requiring you to create the hb acct. Is the only thing the much hyped update does. No change to gameplay, no new content. Details: I just spent an hour+ for some reason rewriting my original review. It was 4 looooong paragraphs, I completely remade it, 1/2 the length and better said. Then the cat distracted me for over 5 minutes apparently; screen locked; and being the AppStore (unlike most anything else) that deleted everything. It was never worth this much effort and I’m not doing it all again. So here’s just the last lines of my original review. Boring game for oafs & children. Propped up by halfbrick to inflate their numbers by forcing new acct setup which may trigger unstated subscription to unwanted service. They’re not doing anything else for this, and already moved on to exploiting the name for their latest 100% clone game, again requiring acct. Don’t support this nonsense.

Interesting game!. A very creative way to play the game. Test more on your weaponry management than stressing you out with reflex. Love it

It's fantastic!. I LOVE this game so much! It's literally the best destroying game I've ever played! You just simply drag the parts floating around to the body and match the color e.g.red and yellow to get an orange body part to make it stronger! There's nothing to worry about and you don't have to come back and check in every day you just play it whenever you want!

Great game. Its a great game except the same context over and over again. There are only 7 levels with 4 mini levels in it so its a very short game get it and try it for yourself

A shame. This game, like too many others, takes a fun unique concept and ruins it by overbearing IAPs that leave a bad taste in the mouth. I want to have fun, not feel pressured to cough up some dough. Please don't ruin your games, Halfbrick. You had something good happening. I bought this without much thought based on your previous titles. Next time I'll be more cautious.

Good game. Its a pretty good thing. Its fun to see all the things get destroyed. YEAH!!!

Pay To Win. Whilst initailly fun, the IAP's become almost mandatory to progress once you hit stage 5 or so. This is because all of the enemies begin to hit harder, increasing the difficulty of even the earlier Survival stages. You need to upgrade every colour's armor to max, which takes a huge number of prisms. Also, you can be stuck with awful weapons that you can't change unless you, once again, spend a LOT of prisms. At this point, it becomes a ripoff.

-_-. You guys should have looked into it more I enjoy it a lot and like how it's not mandatory to buy the premium currency.

Worth a download. Really fun and addictive.. takes quite a while to unlock everything though..

A great strategy game. Sure, you don't control the Colossatron (much), but your job is to keep it alive/running and dealing maximum damage. Which weapons to aim for, where they should go, when they should be grouped and when they should be deployed all factor in to how well you can go. It is not at all necessary (or possible, really) to Pay To Win, it is entirely possible to get maximum upgrades through gameplay, and regardless of that, how you play is more important than how many upgrades/weapon choices you have. Only gripe so far is an issue with scores not updating to Game Center, hopefully that will be sorted in an update.

Great until you get to Prestige.. First of all. Your game isn't Diablo, it's not that replayable. Secondly, if you're going to get people to do the same 7 worlds again and again YOU SHOULD LET THEM SKIP THE OPENING THE SECOND TIME. Deleted the game once I realised I'd have to sit through the opening again.

Boring & easy. No real control over the snake, it automatically kills everything in its path. Only input from the user is to upgrade its guns/armour. Unchallenging and repetitive.

Pointless game designed for in-app purchases. I loved Jetpack Joyride but this game is awful. There is virtually no interactivity, just dragging randomly spawning pods into place while you watch the game play itself. Plenty of opportunities though to spend real money on upgrades though. Lacks the heart, humour and imagination of their better other games.

My Favourite Game. I love this game and the destruction, its awesome. I also love games that have difficulty in them, I play this game all the time and I am now at prestige '9'. If you could upgrade your weapons or customise the power cores that would be great or add different Colossatron skins so you could be something else as well, and I think I might have an idea to make this game even better, co-op mode on survival, that would be the best. Best of luck

Addicted. Wicked game, just need to fix a bug in which my gadgets didn't update from my iPhone to my iPad and now I haven't selected them and can't select them now I have hit level 7

Super addictive and fun!!. This new halfbrick game is super addictive, to no-one's surprise! The game is well made and very clever - love the general and that it's all told through the news reports. Also really like that it's a game where you have to really think and create a strategy, and not just tap madly at the screen to shoot at stuff. So much fun, even though I couldn't get past the first country (yet)!!

Good. Good but some things need to be better thought out. For instance level 7-2...what the heck is this 'military base' that we're supposed to attack? There are no target signs pointing to them and yet I'm somehow supposed to destroy 12 of them? I'm stuck on this level wandering in circles trying to find these dumb base things. The one time I beat it the game decides to go and sync to iCloud and erase all progress. Go figure. Also the prisms are way too hard to obtain without paying real cash. Upgrades can only be made in prisms so it's not like you can actually upgrade anything in the game without digging into your pockets. Overall a refreshing and unique game though.

Great game but how do you reset?. I'm not sure how to reset the game because I have screwed my self over with colossatrons upgrades. I can't finish the game without resetting. Can someone help me but the game is still great ;)

This game was great! Well, Almost.. I was having an awesome time, having never died before I got to the last capital city. The enemies all of a sudden have 10x better everything, and the final boss is almost impossible. He slides out of the way, jumps and smashes your parts AND he has two machine guns which will get rid of your armour in seconds. Come on. Halfbrick. Really?

Fun. It's fun it's just that it would be better if you could control it but I guess you need skill to stay alive but I have finished it so 😃

Not very interactive. It's a bit of a screensaver, the machine just goes where it wants and the user just adds the weapons..

Learn To Play First. There's a lot going on with this game and the tutorial didn't make it entirely clear how to play which is why it seems some players think they are just watching. Put the pieces together, match colours, mix for new colours, target enemies. It's a good game and a challenge, well done, something different!

Pretty sick. Good for wasting time on the train or bus. You won't be blown away but you won't regret getting this one. Especially if, like me, your pretty picky with the apps you buy.

Very promising. This game has a very interesting concept and is great fun to play. There is the occasional bit of lag but that's to be expected seeing as it just came out.

So fun!. Been waiting ages for this game, well worth the wait! Combining the segments to form more powerful ones is a great satisfying challenge, choosing to create more powerful segments or combine colors for different ones is fun! Grab it now, you won't regret it!

Great. But not faultless. I have really enjoyed my time with this game so far. Halfbrick have done another great job. My only problem with the game is the inability to drive Colossatron. Maybe this will be in the sequel. Everything else though, the upgrade system, the awesome weapons and amazing visuals make this a must buy.

Fun game.... ...but need to fix the issue where you spend currency to repair, reconfig etc, colossatron and if the phone auto-locks or you receive a call, when you return to the game you lose that currency yet colossatron is back to the way it was before spending. It's happened twice and I've lost big credits with no upgrades saved. Major put off in playing this game. Fix it and I'll give it a 5

Great game, could use some polishing. The game is great and all but you could have more levels and it repeats itself add some more challenge and difficulty give us more control over the snake and what's with the premium currency I paid for the game I don't want to pay more money so please make an update and make it a lot better.

Is that it, really?. Proves there are so many fake reviews in here: this game is very boring as you do not control the action at all. You are just supposed to watch the dragon do its action and that is it really, at every level... I warned you, the screens look promising but I was very disappointed.

Cool title. Think of it more as Tetris with guns and lasers. Great game, just be persistent and enjoy the destruction your planning of the monster is doing. Make sure you maximise your 'health getting' pieces as they will keep you alive on the hard levels! Don't need knapp purchase only persistence!

Poor controls. Pushes IAPs too hard. Clever ideas, but game quickly becomes unplayable without IAPs. I just want to enjoy a game I paid for (and I would pay more for this game as a once off payment), not feel pressured to continually spend more money. Feel like I purchased a demo, and now I need to buy a subscription to keep enjoying it. Very disappointing. Difficult to control when snake is too long (view doesn't zoom out enough).

How to Reset?. Hi love the game I thinks it's awesome blowing up stuff and how there's changing weapon types but I've made some bad choices in the game and it's getting boring and i don't know how to reset the game because there's nothing in the settings and I tried deleting the game and downloading it again but it saves the progress please add a reset button or someway to reset the game please anyway hope you read this and great great game up the good work:)

Put in the time!. At first I didn't like this game. But once you start to understand how it works you will really start to enjoy it. The tutorials could be a bit better. But if at first you feel like this game is just trying to grab your money, put a bit more thought in. You can really enjoy the strategy, finish the game, and not pay an extra cent!

Great. Real good game, played it when it was in beta or alpha and back then was still really good, well thought out.

Awesome App!. This game is very addicting and enjoyable with tons of replayability! I've noticed a few odds during gameplay (including the story) and there should be an update for them: 1) During story mode, how come Rick Dalton's newsroom is unaffected by Colossatron's destruction? It would be cool if it appears slightly damaged each time you destroy a capital. 2) The bombing squads can sometimes fill up the whole screen which makes it very difficult to not only see Colossatron but to also survive their attacks. 3) There should be a function to freely move Colossatron. Sometimes he can just wander into enemy fire and you can die fairly easy. 4) After you destroy a capital, you'll often receive the same number of prisms, regardless how long Colossatron was. 5) I noticed very few game crashing bugs during the game, but the frame rate will slightly go out when the screen is filled up with tons of enemies. Despite these issues, the game is definitely a must-own and I recommend this to anyone who feels like watching the world burn! 😄😜

ZM65. Idea for a future update: "Skyscrapers" These appear in Capitals and when destroyed give a large amount of money. Great game overall, but price for max armour should be reduced.

"The end is neigh!". HalfBrick have really outdone them selfs this time it makes me feel like a giant evil space snake bent on destroying human civilization, but it would be even better is you play as general mustache while fighting colossatron!

THIS IS NOT A GAME. All you do is connect things to the monster. You cannot control him or fire his weapons. I played it for about a minute and then removed the app. It makes me suspicious as to how it got app of the week. Don't waste your time. Lots of fake reviews I know how to play a game and this is not a game

Needs more levels. This is overall a great game but could please have more levels in the next update and if possible make like planets and more cities. Overall great game.

Typically Halfbrick addictive. I can't explain why, but I keep coming back to this game. The action, the tension, the power. It's just a load of fun!

Why?. Im glad this is back on the app store but it doesn't make sense that you cant control him you should be able to lead him to the different objectives and destroy the town yourself that would be more satisfying and fun

It definitely has some hard spots but with some strategy you can get over the hard parts Although 1$ for a hour of game isn't worth it if there was more room for input on what you want it to do it would get 4 stars I give it 3 stars because you get very little room for input Also it presses you to buy stuff

Great game with a few bugs. Whenever the game syncs with the cloud you lose your last mission progress. It has happened to me no less than 20 times. Please fix

Good game, but. I feel there are a lack of weaponry. Maybe something to teleport enemies away, a weapon that shoots back the projectiles that is shoot at it, or a passive core that speeds you up?

Nagware and no instruction. Nothing worse than paying for a game only to then be nagged to buy upgrades and starter packs. The game offered no instruction, had to do some searching before realizing you can combine the pieces to make patterns. It feels like it has potential to be innovative, but falls well short.

Great game!. I love this game a lot, it has a great variety of weapons, an interesting campaign, and the gameplay is simple! My only problem is the occasional advertisement that appears after some games, I mean I paid for the game, I shouldn't be seeing ads. Still good though!!!

Need a tutorial. Presentation looks great, but I have no idea what I am doing. It will be nice if you can do a tutorial level, or even hints or something (like combining certain colors will get you this power upgrade). Make it more user friendly.

five stars if you fix. it's a very disappointing prestige that makes the game harder and gives you no upgrade when it would be perfect to let you pick another gadget, making the game harder is a poorer option you should just and a hard mode button so the player can switch on and off and maybe add more like expert, insane etc

IDEA!. Now Halfbrick, I love this game. LOVE. I made my cousin love it. We both love it. But there's no content. WEE NEAD MOAR! I'd say to add a multiplayer mode and I love the weapons, but there's not enough. AGAIN! WE NEED MORE!

Really editors choice?. This game is weak I deleted it after two minutes in. You are a metal snake that shots stuff and you add mods that fly in. This is the type of game that was cool back in the previous smartphone world.

Virtually unplayable. Even on an iPhone 7 plus, the games slows to less than a frame per second when a bunch of enemies are onscreen and becomes completely uncontrollable.

Keeps crashing, won't start up!. After downloading this "free app of the week" it says loading and then crashes. Deleted and tried again with same result.

Please read this Halfbrick, I have only one thing to critique.. Colossatron: Massive World Threat is an exceptionally fun, amazingly addictive, and very unique game. The tower offense match three play style is extremely innovative, and though it is not meant for everyone, I believe that many people would enjoy it, including myself. This being said, there is one thing which I believe could and should see some improvement: the acquisition of Prisms. I understand that ideally one should grind the survival challenges, preferably the later continents, to receive Prisms, but frankly, the amount of effort put in and time spent is not proportionate to the rewards received. I have not played a great quantity of games, such as certain RPG's, which require obsessive amounts of grinding, but I am familiar enough with the concept to understand how it should work. When one grinds in an RPG, they are looking for experience, currency, or particular rare items, all of which can be received by defeating enemies. In an RPG, players are willing to grind for hours on end, because each enemy defeated gives them a sense of satisfaction. Experience gets one closer to leveling up, whereas currency gets one closer to being able to purchase better gear. Cash in Colossatron can be directly compared to the in-game currency of other games, receiving a certain amount of it depending on the enemy defeated, and experience doesn't play a part in Colossatron. Receiving cash from a tank or turret should ideally give one the same satisfaction as per other games, but it does not. Why? Because the only purpose for cash is during the campaign, and not much is needed to get through it, especially when you can always give a continent another try; Prisms are required for upgrading and specializing Powercores. Doing a survival challenge will guarantee one cash, but not Prisms, the currency which is more important for progressing in the game. I believe that either Prisms should be awarded to the player after a survival challenge depending on the continent it's done on and/or how long the player survives, or cash should be able to be converted to Prisms. Or, both of these options could be utilized, since they do not contradict one another. For the latter of the two options, I am not suggesting that two million cash should be able to be converted into a Prism, or else I would have well over four hundred Prisms. I do believe that maybe ten million or twenty million would be a reasonable amount, especially with the difficulty of gameplay after several Prestiges. The reason I give this game four stars is because Colossatron is a super fun game and I am able to get enough Prisms to make the experience enjoyable, but I would prefer to be able to specialize my build even more. Please consider my opinion if you read this Halfbrick, and thank you regardless.

Fun but Troubling. The game is fun, but I'm not in love with the concept of destroying cities. It locks things off with a humorous twist and is fun to play.
