A Sweet Tea Sweetie!. My tea is always as I ordered it when using the app! Hardee’s is a true Dixie delight and a staple of the South! People need to realize that in the South we like our yunguns and tea sweet! Only issue I have is not all menu items are on the menu. That is also true from the chicken place with the A! My biggest complaint with the app is that it doesn’t support Apple Pay. It also needs a barcode scanner.

Doesn’t work. I just downloaded the app this month & when I tried to place an order for the 2 for $5 sausage, egg, biscuit or biscuit & gravy it wouldn’t let me do the 2 for $5. So I went inside & placed my order. Then I tried again a week later at a different location & it wouldn’t let me even place an order…at all. So I ordered through the drive-thru. This time I asked the lady at the window if they have an app to order from. She said yes. But I still cannot get it to work. And the 2nd location charged me regular price instead of the 2 for $5. Idk understand what’s happening? I use restaurant/fast food apps ALL the time. This is the only app that has not worked every time. Please help me figure out what to do. I love Hardee’s and would like to order through the app for the rewards. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

UPDATE…,,,App Shortcomings ….. I noticed that you have now change the menu items in the app to say sweet tea and unsweet tea but unfortunately, it does not translate when it gets passed to the store. The tickets at the store still say just iced tea so nine times out of 10. They’re giving you a sweet tea when you order an unsweet tea even now. Still wondering why you can’t order tea when you use your free beverage reward… I eat at Hardee’s quite often, and use the app most of the time, but there are two things that I see a short comings to the app… 1) when you try to order ice tea in the app, you have two options… Sweet tea, or iced tea… I think it would be better to list it as sweet tea and unsweet tea as nine times out of 10 when you order just iced tea, meaning, unsweet, tea, the store fills it as sweet tea anyhow 2) the second item may or may not be on purpose, but when you try to use the reward for the free beverage it does not give you an option to order tea… Only Coke products… Not sure if that’s on purpose just an oversight.

App menu is just ok. The app seems to work fine. It looks nice, and easy to navigate. As long as what you want is on the app menu, it’s pretty straight forward to use. Things could be improved though. You can’t order a plain bacon biscuit with the app. Also the drink menu isn’t complete in the app(at least at the store I went to). More drink options were available in-store as opposed to the app. Not sure if it was the store or the way the app reports, but two of my items were missing add-ons I paid for in the app. Food was pre-made and cold when I got it. Lastly, it doesn’t support Apple Pay, which is a bummer. I’m just going to stick to the speaker or going in at Bojangles for now.

No way to check in. I’m so happy our Hardee’s just got the order ahead app capabilities, but there’s a disconnect between ordering and checking in. The app says just tell them your name to check in, but the lady at the window says the training they just had says we are supposed to check in in the app so the food is ready when we get to the window. When I gave her my name, she said she didn’t even see where I had ordered. Very confusing and slightly frustrating.

Useless if you want information. We live in an area without a Hardee’s, so when we came to visit family near one of the restaurants, we all decided to try it. As with all places we try in 2021, we checked the App Store for their official app first. It’s usually the best way to build an order today so that we have a plan before actually going there the next day. But this app wouldn’t even let me look at a menu without creating an account, which usually means they get you on a mailing list or sell your personal information and data. No thanks, I’ll go elsewhere instead.

Do NOT get this app. I cannot begin to describe the absolute pain this app physically causes me. Every time the devs update/debug whatever they claim to do to the app, EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. All my info is lost. Stars are gone. Profile is gone. Saved favorites. The entire reason I got the app was to order in advance for my autistic son who only eats Hardee’s food. We go there every single day. It is devastating to consistently lose all my data every time. Forget the stupid stars, all my card information, my profile everything is gone. Idk what is the purpose of this app anymore. No one ever gets back to me to assist or restore. Is my card info just floating out there? WHY DOES THIS KEEP HAPPENING?! Not just once a year but every time there is an update. I only leave this review as a warning to others because I know no one affiliated with the app or Hardee’s will ever bother assisting. Devs can go kick rocks, this app is terrible. There’s only three ways to log in: Apple ID, Google ID or Facebook and all three failed.

Pleasantly Surprised. We probably haven’t ordered from this location in over a year because the food and employees had gotten really bad. On a Sunday afternoon I didn’t feel like cooking so we placed a mobile order for my husband to walk in and get and he said the employees were upbeat, very nice and the food was hot and ready. The food was great! I loved the hotdog and my husband enjoyed the chicken and waffle sandwich. He ordered a Frisco burger just in case he didn’t care for the chicken and waffle. He ordered the burger plain and it had tomatoes on it but he just took them off, that was the only thing wrong but as good as the other food was he wasn’t upset at all. Great job on the turn around Hardee’s, so glad for the much needed improvement for our little town of Swansea, SC. We will be returning, and by the way he ate both sandwiches!

It runs…usually. This is one of the worst fast food apps out there. It constantly logs me out, gives errors showing product information, never shows local deals that would save you money, and will not accept the barcode number from a paper receipt in order to add it to your rewards. It gives web API errors when trying to do so. The developers have a lot of work if they want this to be a usable app that will bring the company profit.

Not worth it. Like most fast food and convenience store apps, this is another one that is just not worth the time or effort. Only reason I use apps is to streamline my purchase , not to make my day more difficult and time consuming. This one does both. Also , the rewards and deals are very seldom worth the amount of of time it takes to get them. Either lower the standard cost of your meals ( which are usually as high or higher than local sit down restaurants, ) or give better rewards and deals on your app. Til then, my use of this app and Hardees is going to be as limited as it has been. Bottom line , for me this app is clunky and deals aren’t good enough to justify using it.

Terrible communication. Went through checkout process with the app. I go to the store to get the order and they do not have it. I have location enabled and the app confirms I’m here. The front line staff has no idea. The manager says she doesn’t deal with technology. I cancel the order on the app. Then I get an email asking me to click “make my order” This is after I leave the store. Ridiculous. How hard would it be to have a confirmation button within the app or at least a message in the app that you have to wait for a confirmation email. McDonalds, Chick-fil-A, etc. can do this. Very poor communication skills it’s Hardee’s. Update on June 12, 2023: On the previous order, Hardee’s charged my credit card even though the order didn’t go through. I contacted them and got a refund. Today I tried giving the app another shot. Same result. I placed my order, clicked the link in the email “Make My Order” but no order came through. It is really disappointing to have an app fail so badly. I guess I will stick to other fast food restaurants who have an app that actually works.

Not all menu items are on the app. My biggest complaint is that items at the restaurant aren’t on the app. Specials are hard to find and also some aren’t even on the app for instance a special at the restaurant won’t even appear in the app. Also there doesn’t appear to be a way to communicate with customer service and give feedback via the app which would be nice because last night I made a purchase on the app & picked it up at the drive-through, and the food was awful. The burgers were cooked beyond being edible. I called and spoke with the supervisor or manager I’m not sure which and all she said was she was sorry that that happened and sorry the food wasn’t good, nothing else, not “hey can I give you a voucher for something else or can I refund your money” just OK, thanks for telling me. It would be nice to be able to reach out to the app and that could be given to the franchise owner. I also didn’t receive the free sandwich for signing up for the app like it stated in the FAQ about rewards

Where are MY rewards points??. *Update* Bumped up the stars to 3 because of the response from the developer. It was an error and I can now see all my rewards and account information. Was disappointed though because my meal should have been free that day. It’s okay though cause I’ll just keep stacking points.* My app is showing 0 and I know I had over 1,000! And no they didn’t expire. It’s showing NO recent orders and I just ordered breakfast on the app a few days ago! It’s like my account was completely reset!!

Doesn’t work. I’ve not been able to use this app since I got it. It won’t allow me to redeem any rewards and when I finally gave up on that and decided to just check out it would not go from the bag page to the payment page. The loading thing just kept spinning and spinning but never did anything. I thought maybe a fluke so I forced it closed and tried again…same results. THREE times I’ve tried to use it to order ahead and all 3 times it wouldn’t let me use rewards or complete the order. 😠 hopefully this problem is resolved quickly, otherwise I will just remove the app if it isn’t going to work properly.

Not clear how to seek refund for canceled order marked as “picked up”. You can’t contact customer service within the app. I was charged for food that was out of stock. My solution was to check the one star reviews for advice, and I found it there. I left my own one star review until I got my refund, which I got about six days later. I placed two orders that same day, and the sandwich order was fulfilled quickly and accurately. The problem was just with the apple pie order since apple pies were out of stock.

Rewards. No one at our Hardies knows how you get the rewards . So we tried putting it in manually & our app & it still wouldn’t work . It would be nice if ppl knew how to get the points towards purchases . Employees always say I know nothing about how the app or rewards work yet I keep getting txts of great deals can’t use . Help

Three States Away. Even THREE states from home and this app continues to present “unavailable.” Your competitors get their apps right. Why aren’t you? I can’t believe you won’t even show coupons or deals until a location (unavailable) is picked. Can’t pick a location because it’s greyed out (unavailable). Someone maybe had a great idea to have and app, or maybe someone just though, “hey we need an app because everyone else has one,” without actually figuring out what makes a good fast food app. Spoiler alert, being able to see the menu and/or deals is a bare minimum. And you track EVERYTHING all the time? Gross!

App scams you. You’re better off with DoorDash. I ordered through this app multiple times for both delivery and takeout. Hardee’s does nothing if your delivery order is completely wrong or missing items. No refunds or anything. What’s worse is this most recent time I ordered for a drive thru pickup, I paid, pulled into the drive thru and they said they were closed at 4pm. Though every sign said they were open and the app let me place an order. And now I’m unable to get a refund on an order I never received. Spoke to a Gm at the store and got the runaround and Hardee’s feedback form has no place for order issues only feedback. At least with DoorDash they make it right and don’t fraud you out of money. Do not use this app. You will eventually get scammed.

Great Service at Store, App needs work. I love this store in Effingham IL. They always take great care of me. But I got a notification from my app stating if I bought a large fry I would receive a large fry for the remaining 177 days of 2022. The store had no clue as to what I was referring to, and the notification disappeared when I clicked on it to open my app.

Unhappy customers. I went to the drive thru Hardies in Emporia Virginia right off I 95. I live in Emporia so it is the closest to my home. I ordered 2 5 piece Nashville hot chicken tender combos. The receipt says N hot combo with tax over 22 $. Sit down with the wife to eat the two meals and we both discover neither of our meals were Nashville Hot meals . This is at least the third time I’ve either have to settle for something we didn’t want or have to go back to the store 10 min away and get what I ordered. The don’t seem to care what they throw at the customers and it’s Groton have to go back. Bad for business Another unhappiness customer

Could do better. Every fast food restaurant at this point has a mobile app (or they just don’t care about customer demands). It’s surprising that the limits on customization of orders are here. Ordered a Monster Angus burger, and my only options was to add more or take off: bacon, cheese, mayo. No option for adding other condiments (ketchup, mustard, etc) or even adding stuff like lettuce and tomato (even if there was an up charge). No place to add a note to the order either so I got to remove mayo and eat a dry burger. The food was great, but since this is a review of the app, I think there are some enhancements that could be made to make it even better. Also the lack of using Apple Pay as an option seems like a missed opportunity. I nearly just went somewhere else just due to that.

Can’t view what deals are. They give you 4 or 5 deals at checkout that you could possibly use. For example it says 20 dollar family Halloween bundle. Only issue is you have to add all the items to your cart but it doesn’t tell you what is in the bundle and can’t click on it to find out. Sometimes it shows you a picture of what the deal is in a buy one get one free but you have to try and guess what sandwich it is from the picture. Does the developer ever even try and use the app? This just pisses me off. Horrible.

Useless. Very difficult to sign up, single sign on doesn’t work with Apple , Facebook, or Google even though they are listed . Also, unlike McDonalds and Wendy’s , there are no deals to be had. I treat myself to breakfast very frequently but get a buy one get one free bfast sandwich every day at McDonald’s plus they are cheaper and taste better most of the time except for the days when the biscuits are fresh and I go veeeeery early. So far as the app, they are still developing it so if they start offering coupons to make it worthwhile, I’ll update the review .

App ordering. I did two app orders and got to the restaurant and they proceeded to tell me they didn’t receive the orders both times. They said they couldn’t fix the food or refund us our money and there si no number to call on the app other than the restaurants number they keeps telling us they can’t help us or refund our money even after showing the manager the money was taken out of the checking accounts. This issue needs to be resolved because I’m 100% sure I’m not the only one that has experienced this.

Shady and Suspicious Apple ID Login Method. The Hardees app allows you to create a profile using your Apple ID as many apps do. However. In order to use your Apple ID the app brings up an in-app web browser that has you sign-in to your Apple ID with your email and password. No I don't think so. They as a company can easily monitor the cookies and key logging and transmit that data to their servers because your accessing a website through their web browser. So shady and suspicious that it should be reported to Apple to see if they are doing just that. Why doesn't the app have a normal Apple ID setup that is verified by my phones iOS, just like every other app that has Apple ID account link. Very suspicious and needs to be looked into by Apple.

New Update Must Have Caused Issues. Not sure if this is an isolated event but I opened the app to order lunch today. My points balance showed 5,159stars and I proceeded to the rewards page to redeem 500 of them. An error message stating something about it being invalid and a metadata error. I closed the app and opened it back up to find I was logged out of my account. I logged back into my account (after a few attempts of the app acting as if my account didn’t exist wanting me to sign up) and the same balance was shown so I tried redeeming them again where I was met with the same message. I deleted the app and redownload it. It seems to be the case that my account was deleted or lost in some way because despite using the same log in information I have for the entirety of me having the app, the app is acting as if there is no account associated with my information. What am I to do about my lost points?

Rewards not available. Supposed to get a free sandwich for getting the app and joining the rewards program. Got the email that says I have it, but my location doesn’t have online ordering and apparently the only way to redeem rewards or get points is to order online. Both app and rewards program would be frequently used, but it’s a real let down when neither is available for my location. Don’t go to Hardee’s much due to lack of online ordering so was looking forward to this. Rewards should be available to use and accumulate in restaurant if you get the app and join the rewards program regardless of whether a specific location supports online ordering.

No Customer Service. I made a pickup order through the app but when I went to pick it up an employee told me that they were unable to complete my order. They said something about not being able to fulfill fried orders. I requested a refund given that I couldn’t eat anything else on the menu and I was running late for work. I was told that a refund could not be processed for mobile orders. I tried to find a help or contact us function in the app and there was none. To this day, I am still short my $10 breakfast meal. You all should fix this…

Pierre SD restaurant. I had an extremely bad experience at the Pierre restaurant recently. Placed a mobile order and went inside to pick up. Something went wrong and the order wasn’t in the system. I checked my phone and it appeared the order was placed and my credit card was charged. I asked the manager a couple of questions trying to figure out what went wrong. He was extremely rude and kept interrupting me. I asked him to let me speak for a moment and he interrupted me again saying that he didn’t know anything about the mobile app. I left. Called the company that owns the place, Northland Restaurant Group, and left a message. They didn’t respond. I won’t be going back.

Do they know they have an app?. Lol, I’m not even mad, because they made our order, but here’s what went down. We go to the Hardee’s in our town, order on the app, pull to the drive-thru and the lady says “I’m sorry we don’t have an app”. Lol I hope you do because I gave someone my CC for food. Anyway, we pull to the window, show her the app & that we paid & it is this location. The manager came over & said “umm I’m going to have to call my boss bc I have no idea”. They made our food, but y’all might want to make sure your stores know they have app orders available.

App Feedback. It seems that a bug or issue has started where, if I choose the category I want “combos, chicken, sides, etc” it will always jump back to the “featured” tab. It wont let me select anything else. As for a feature to add possibly, allow camera access to scan the receipt barcode as an option for star redemption?🤔

No way to pay. It’s great for getting the points off the receipts but no way to use it in the Hardee’s in the store and I can’t order off the app because there’s no way to pay it lets me enter my credit card number but doesn’t actually have a place to press submit or anything I’ve deleted the app several times and reloaded it to see if it needed an update or something was wrong but I can place my order use my points and then when I go to check out I enter all my credit card info and after that there’s nothing to press to send or submit or anything

The app and rewards are great but. Hi I wanted to give you some feedback regarding the app and the rewards program. I really like the app and rewards program. I use it every time that I eat at Hardee’s. Honestly I eat at Hardee’s a lot more now since having the app and the rewards program. I do however have some not so good feedback regarding the in store pick up process. The employees seem to put the online orders last. On multiple occasions, I have had to wait in restaurant an extra 20-30 minutes waiting on my order because they put it last. The whole point of order ahead and online is to skip the line and it be ready when you are there and that has not been the case. If that issue could be worked out it would be great. But again the app is awesome.

Thieves. I placed an order on the app and went to pick it up. They told me they were understaffed and I would have to come back in an hour. I said fair enough, can I get a refund and then they told me no they don’t control the app. After a lot of back and forth I go to try and cancel the order in the app that had gone from in process to completed. I couldn’t find anything not even an order number to put into the contact us feedback on the website, so now I don’t have a leg to stand on. I’ve since called my bank account to dispute the transaction and they are going to try and refund my money after the transaction posts. This is straight up fraud, and should be avoided. It’s sounds like they aren’t paying their employees either.

Absolute worst fast food app encountered. Had difficulty completing order in app. It required be to complete something below on screw. And the. Go back above it to complete that step. But that pales in the fact that the app requires you to check in from an email it sends you to tell the store to “Make my order”. First do not remember seeing in the app a message to look for an email confirmation to click on a link which then takes you to a web site and that is the only way the store is notified of your order. I ask you, why even bother with an app if I am still having to go to a web site to process order. And in app when I wanted to add something to my bag it made me choose a store location AGAIN even though I already had chosen one and was still in process of making order. Can’t delete this app fast enough from my phone. Feel sorry for the workers who are the front line facing people who are frustrated why their order was not showing, as mine was not, and they have no control over it or ability to help.

App is useless. The app is useless, it stopped working a while ago and now it won’t allow me to use close to the 4000 points I have acquired. Once I put in my credit card info it does nothing. There is no screen to go to next. I’ve tried calling in and emailing but have had no luck reaching anyone or getting a call back. Their prices are too high but I dealt with it because the chicken is good and so were the rewards. Not anymore, it’s not that hard to fix your platform. Get on it or continue loosing customers!

No barcode on receipts. Love Hardee’s, i take my meal break there almost everyday. i have App on phone, but cannot order using mobile app, And there is not barcode on receipts to be able to earn rewards☹️ Also cannot use any coupons, or special deals sent to me thru the App, I really would like to earn & use my rewards

This app is Fantastic. I had a few Problems with this app in the beginning of installing this app, not accepting my points. I’ve been going to Hardee’s mostly every Sunday starting in 2012. Fantastic Biscuits and Gravy, I wasn’t going to let the app problems or my problem figuring out the the app change my mind about their Biscuits and Gravy. I reached out to app people to work on my problem. They fixed it for me or I got smarter that now it accept my points. Now I have the best of both worlds, Best Biscuits and Gravy in the land and the points. THANK YOU to all that got the app to work for me.

Missing half the menu. I’ve tried to use the app twice but half the menu items aren’t even on the app. I have seen them respond and say that they only have their top items. I think the app would be much better and more used with the full menu. For example, a cinnamon roll is offered as a reward item, but they don’t even have the cinnamon roll on the menu to order. They don’t even have all their drink options. I would love to order ahead but nothing my family eats is a choice on the app so we end up just having to shut down the app and order at the drive thru instead.

Hardee’s App. This is one sad attempt to correct the profit loss of this company. This is definitely the most difficult resturant app to navigate. When you even attempt to view a deal, combo, sandwich, biscuit, you are stuck. The back arrow is imbedded at the VERY top of the left side of you’re mobile device. When you attempt to return to the main menu, you are stuck. This isn’t the only issue, when a deal is advertised, you click on it, it says it’s “Unavailable”? Why solicit or feature an item that is unavailable? I’m hoping that this wasn’t an expensive endeavor, what a waste of money!

Ugh….. I’ve used the app twice now, and was really excited at first. The app is easy to use and the rewards are great, however, the location I frequent has severely dropped the ball with online orders. The first time I used the app, the employees said they had no idea what I was talking about. I had to show them the app where I had ordered and paid, and then they had me pull up while they made and brought out my order. This last time has me infuriated… I ordered breakfast again this morning, only to get to the drive thru and not hear from anyone. There were two employees just sitting and talking in the lobby but not once did anyone address me at the order box, so I pulled to the window. Again, sat there with no one helping me whatsoever… for 10 minutes I waited on someone to come to the window and help, but nothing. I had to cancel my order on the app, but there was no refund. In fact, the app shows that the order had been completed… I’m beyond disappointed. I love Hardee’s breakfast and was very excited about the app but I highly doubt I’ll be using either anytime soon after today.

Frustrating app to use. This app was so frustrating to use. I tried to use it for the first time to order breakfast. It only let me order three items. The other items I tried to order it would say “added to bag” but the item was never added and the screen would just spin and spin. I tried exiting out, clearing cached data, and still struggled with ordering breakfast. It took me 30 min to order 4 items. I didn’t even customize anything. When I went to check out, it automatically drops down for you to pay with a gift card and you have to remove the gift card option to pay with a debit card. If you don’t remove the gift card option, it won’t let you check out because it wants a gift card number. So much work needs done on this app.

Notifications don't open app. I've been using this app for awhile and it functions well. The only issue I have and it's been present for me ever since I've been using it: clicking notifications open the app initially, then a browser window opens which then triggers an app store page to open to the Hardee's app, which obviously is already installed. Fix this and you'll get 5 stars from me!

Buggy app limiting offer redemption. -App is incredibly slow, and I have to re-login for it to recognize that I have stars earned. -You can only redeem 1 “offer” per order, which is in increments of 100, 300, or 500 stars on a very small selection of menu. -The app doesn’t recognize gift cards & credit cards as separate payment methods. I had entered gift card with slightly less balance than order total so I put in credit card, and should’ve only been charged about $0.10 but was charged as if I hadn't even entered the gift card.

Not good…. Breakfast is on the app at some locations but not at others…WTH? Also sometimes an item that is being offered for a special deal in the “offers” section isn’t even on the menu….you have to be able to add the item to your bag first in order to be able to redeem the offer….and if you can’t select it in the app menu, then it’s not really an offer. Also there are sometimes where you can add the item that is being offered, then when you redeem the offer, it doesn’t work. This app isn’t even a hot mess, it’s just a mess.

Oops no fries for free !!. I received an email stating that today is French Fry Day and to celebrate it with ordering a fry and I’ll receive a small fry for the rest of the year. That’s about 171 days they said . I go to my app from the email and there’s the advertisement so I go to order a fry and it’s not giving me any indication that I’ll be receiving free fries for the rest of the year. So I call the Hardee’s in my town and the very friendly lady tells me she knows nothing about it and never received an email about it. I Must be very special to have gotten an email for free fries and the managers haven’t even gotten one. What’s up with that please ?

Not all menu items. I love Hardees breakfast - the biscuit sandwiches are the best - but the menu on the app doesn’t include the whole menu. You offer the bacon, egg, & cheese biscuit. You have the sausage & egg biscuit (though apparently you have to “add cheese” for an additional 50 cents manually. No way to order a ham, egg, & cheese biscuit at all. Why would you have a somewhat functional app without ALL of your menu? Honestly, for days I don’t want to deal with ordering from the drive-thru or an actual person, I go to McDonalds because their app is easy to use & has their entire menu. Something to think about, I guess. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Really good but one small complaint. I really like this app overall, it’s super easy to use and the fact that it pings the restaurant to let them know you nearby is super convenient. However that last bit is also related to my one complaint, there is currently no way to order a soda without ice. I personally do not like ice in my drinks, if it’s too cold it hurts my teeth, but since the app automatically lets the restaurant know when you are close by, the employees have already prepared my drink when I arrive at the drive thru so they have to make me a new drink w/o the ice potentially wasting my previous drink.

Unable to place an order. You never know when the app will let you order! Sometimes it will tell you it is breakfast time when it is not, sometimes it tells you delivery is not available when you just want to pick up, sometimes it tells you that your location is 175 miles away, when you are in the parking lot. Sometimes your points are gone, next day reappear. Sometimes you have to search “chicken and more” when looking to order a $2.99 double cheeseburger. Unable to add an ingredient like onions to a sandwich.

Fraudulent Charges. On November 7, 2021 I placed an order online via the Hardee’s app. When I pulled to the drive through speaker, I was told that my order could not be completed because they did not have a cook. I asked about canceling my order and the young lady said that I had to do that through the app. I could not. I filed a complaint with Hardee’s through their web page. I have not heard back from them. …BUT THE CHARGE ON MY CREDIT CARD WENT THROUGH. The app showed my order as “completed” two days ago, which it was not. Now the order is not showing on the app at all. I have disputed this charge. But until it is settled with my card holder, I am out the money on a fraudulent charge. Customer beware!

Won’t use. Please change.. These days we frequent restaurants where we earn points and deals on their apps. Food is just way too costly. I want to order at the restaurant and scan my deals at time of purchase. I refuse to use an app to place my order and pay. Please allow customers to scan deals and pay for food at time of purchase at pickup. We will continue to go to Wendy’s, McDonalds and other restaurants that do this.

Some things do not change. I have avoided ordering because the past few times I have the burgers were barely warm and there was usually an error in the order. After boycotting for a year I tried again at the Warwick village location. Never again. The place was empty and they still gave me soggy cold fries. The burgers were not hot enough to melt the cheese. The prices have shot up and the quality has fallen off. Not worth wasting your time.

Offers in App?. I get emails advertising special offers with the opportunity to claim them. However the link doesn’t open the app. Furthermore the app does not show me the offers. I’m supposed to order and hope I get an offer. I would use the app and eat at Hardee’s more often if it was more informative.

Missing Menu Items. my local hardees in mullins, south carolina offers grits on their breakfast menu. i cannot find them anywhere in the app. can you please fix this so i can order some delicious grits on my mobile order? thanks in advance, devs!

A little bit frustrating.. I live right next to a Hardee’s. I intended to sign up for the rewards thing, but you have to pay with a credit card in order to get the rewards?! Why can I not place an order on the app, then go over to the store, pay with cash, then earn my rewards then?

Easy but needs work. The app is super easy to use to get what you’re wanting but the text messages split into four at any random order and splits the link up to prevent me from using it to tell them to start making my order. Not everyone is aware of their own app but I’m sure with time that everyone will get it figured out.

App takes gift card but can’t use it. I loaded a gift card to the app but when checking out there is no option to use the gift card. Maybe I can’t find it, but shouldn’t be difficult to use. Now I have no idea how to get my money back. Just don’t take the gift card if app doesn’t have option to use it!

Didn’t get my free sandwich. Annoying as heck to download the app and fill out the profile and spend 25 minutes to figure it out and… the free sandwich offer says not fulfillable even after doing everything right. App is also slow on my iPhone 6s. Frustrating as heck. Deleting now. Don’t want to go through this again.

Trouble with app. I really dislike the app. I got an e mail that I could order 1 Frisco burger meals but I couldn’t place the order. Even the employees couldn’t help me. She saw the e mail but when it came to place the order we couldn’t do it. That’s my favorite sandwich. It’s not the first time I had trouble I was supposed to be able to get free fries for the rest of the year I can’t do that either.

Shouldn’t have bothered. If you just want mobile ordering it’s probably fine. If you just want to earn rewards for your visits, good luck figuring it out. That is clearly an after thought or not something they actually want you to do. The option is buried and fairly hidden and if you do find it, you can’t even scan the barcode they put on the receipt.

Service Review. I went through your drive through today for breakfast at your location in Millsboro and the service was excellent. The lady that took my order was so polite and helpful. I had my breakfast order in a timely manner. I appreciate Hardee’s and there employees always so kind and mannerly!

Not so good now. I used the app alot before, however as of late it shows me anywhere from 300 to 1,500 miles away from the store. It will not let me order anything, due to the distance thing. So I went in and ordered, got the receipts. Went to Scan them, it said “service not available” . Sent in a few help to the app server and got nothing. This was over two weeks ago….

Logging out issue. I don’t even bother to eat at Hardee’s anymore because of this app. Every time I open it, I have to log in again. Then I can’t remember the password for this app that isn’t exactly protecting bank secrets. So I just quit using it because logging in every time is a hassle.

Worthless app. If you’re looking for the most useless app on the planet then you have found it. It won’t accept you information when you are trying to setup an account. It can’t even find it’s own stores even if you type in the full and correct address. Don’t waste your time with this app just order in there drive thu so they can mess up your order the old fashioned way in person.

What’s the point. Of being able to customize an order if it doesn’t show up on the tickets printed at the restaurant? Picked up an order this morning and said something because they always include hash rounds in the platter even when you say no hash rounds. They showed me the ticket and sure enough it didn’t say no hash rounds. I showed them my screen where it does say no hash rounds. App needs improvement!!!

Archaic. It’s so bizarre that Hardee’s is so far behind the times. You finally have an app to download and there is literally nothing that can be done on this app. Can’t even see a menu, the only option when I select the nearest store is delivery and it redirects to DoorDash. You’d think you guys might get on the ball with the whole online ordering business with more and more people opting to pay ahead and pick up.

App ripped me off for $20. Decided to try this app. First time using it, I placed a $20 breakfast order, got to the restaurant and NOBODY was there! 8am and the restaurant hadn’t opened. I was still on the receipt page and selected cancel. App said it was cancelled but in my order history the order was marked as completed. I immediately emailed customer service and still waiting on a response. The $20 came out of my bank account though. BEWARE USING THIS APP - shoddy programming, I deleted it and never plan on using again.

Needs more customization.. There is not anything necessarily wrong or bad with the app. It works the way it should. However, I personally cannot use the app, due to severe food allergies. There is a place to add, but not remove specific items. But at the very least, there could be a notes/comments section to make modifications. Until that is added, this app is unfortunately useless to me.

No payment options??. I’ve never left a review for an app but definitely feel like I need to. Finding the food options works well for me but when it comes to paying, it’s not possible. The credit card number and CVC fields don’t even exist. And it won’t let me add a credit card in the Account section or use Apple Pay. So how am I supposed to complete an order when I can’t add my payment information anywhere? This app is pretty useless like the earlier reviews have said.

No Menu. The way this app is set up you can’t just go look at the menu. You have to start an order. Every store in my area says online ordering is unavailable so therefore I can’t see what’s on the menu. I can’t even decide if the app is a good app or not because the only thing you can do is select where to order from. It would at least be nice to have a menu to scroll through like all of the other fast food chain apps.

Elkins Hardees. It was the best, friendliest eating experience I’ve had in a long time. GM Stephanie was wiping down surfaces. Crew Brittany Ryan was super. The restaurant was very clean and the food was great. I was such a great experience that I wanted to make sure they got the recognition they deserved so i ask for last names. THANKS LADIES!!!!!

Frustrating, customer. I usually stop by there 3 to 5 times a week for breakfast but the last couple of months they don’t open when they’re supposed to be open it’s very frustrating. Like this morning I went there half the dining room lights were on but the door was locked . So I tried the drive thru nobody. Very frustrating for a business to be.

Glitchy app. I tried 10 times to enter payment information so that I could complete check out and every time it went back to the same page and I had to redo the whole step. It never offered up any reason why like incorrect information or anything like that, it just reverted back to the same page with no explanation and wouldn’t allow me to check out.

Defaults to delivery can’t view menu. I just want to order ahead and go through the drive-thru and pick my order up. This app won’t let me do that. Defaults to delivery then takes me to the DoorDash website. It really shouldn’t be this hard. Really too bad. I hadn’t been to Hardee’s in a long time and was looking forward to it. I’ll leave the app on my phone for a little while to hopefully see if this changes but if this doesn’t change I’ll be deleting it off my phone.

Order marked “completed” but not in system. Downloaded the app and made my first order. It clearly says in email, app, and text to just say my name in the drive thru line. Instead im met by irritable workers who keep cutting me off saying it doesn’t have an order in the system and “you have to check in” even when I explained the app says I don’t. Now I’m stuck with a $30 credit card payment I can’t cancel. Train your employees and fix your app. Come on Hardee’s it’s 2022. It should be hard to use an app to say no tomatoes.

Slow and Buggy. When trying to order from our local Hardee’s I am unable to select “drive-thru” it just stays on pick up. Also when ordering I went to change the fries to curly and when I hit save it stayed on regular fries but when I added to the order then it changed to curly fries. Overall the app is pretty slow and buggy.

Size up drinks and side. When I choose the large option in the app, I’ve been told by the restaurant employees that it only shows on their screen the side as large and not the drink. I always have to show them my phone so they can see I picked large for both drink and side. Please fix this so the restaurant can see both items as what we ask for.

One of my favorite places. I always enjoy coming to Hardee’s. EVERY time I come here it is a combination of good food & good people. In the morning, when I am traveling I get a steak biscuit, at lunch or dinner their burgers are tops and their chicken sandwiches are about the best ever. I do have a little complaint, the web site is not easy. I have given up on using it.

The place order button disappears. I can never order through the app. Whenever I go to place the order the button disappears, only shows the card info and order info. I have to order through the website which kinda defeats the purpose of the app. At least I can check my rewards on the app. Get it together Hardee’s y’all falling off over here.

Unprofessional clothing to who this may concern!. That fast food Hardee’s was a consumer would go to get good food. Employees now looks like they just got out of bed. It’s has changed management several times Cut out tee shirts. Caps turned around boy that’s really looks Profumo. The company get your S!!!!! Together I’ll never attend this place again until you clean house. Get some white jackets with Hardee’s logo this hasn’t been right since Richard Allen was manager. That went everybody went Hardee’s. was a great place then. Let’s get it back Paul s

Unable to find a way to submit an issue with the order. I just ordered food for myself and coworkers order went through easy enough. Food showed up cold and with 4 out of the 7 items missing from the order all together. Went back through the app to try to find a way to submit a ticket but can’t even find that DD driver claims he only received 1 bag so I’m out both money and food.

Barcode. We can’t scan the barcode!?!?!? Really?!?!?! Also, as others have already pointed out, there are a number of restaurants that do not seem to care about, or are not aware of, the app and will not provide a receipt with a barcode to “scan”. So, corporate needs to get their franchisees on-board.

Not worth the download. From the start the app is just horrible. It’s slow and takes like 5-10 minutes to boot up. Then you get to sign and it just thinks 🤦🏾‍♂️the app overall needs to be redesigned and thought through and not just thrown together. It was so much of a hassle trying to get signed in and order that my wife physically ordered her food and got it by the time I was able to get signed in.

“Unavailable”. I kept seeing ads for this app online, so I figured it was finally working. It’s 2022 after all, right? Nope. I downloaded it and signed up only to see that my restaurant is not available. I also see in the reviews that many others have the same experience. It won’t let you access a menu or any other features unless you presumably pick an “available” restaurant, so the only thing this app seems to be capable of for many is gathering customer data.

Not fully ready. The app will not accept the paper coupon codes even though there is a spot to enter them. The app will not allow swapping or adding condiments unless they are already on the sandwich. Then you order at the store to get exactly what you want, but the staff doesn’t put the receipt in your bag, now you can’t collect your points. Should have done a bit more testing before release.

Doesn’t work. When I first got this app it worked fine. Kind of quirky but once you got used to it, I could work around it. Now the app will NOT allow me to place my order. I can add items. Modify items. Use my points even. But when it comes to the time to pay? Nothing happens. The button changes shade of color so I know I hit it, but nothing happens. Kind of useless at that point.

App. DO NOT put a gift card in the app if you don’t use the entire amount it stays in there until you can find something for the exact amount that’s left, otherwise you can’t use it. Also you can’t order for the dining room because it doesn’t give you the option so if you order it waste the bags

Overall Good. It’s a bit slow and the menu organization is not intuitive, but it seems to work correctly. Major complaint is that there no Apple Pay integration.

Location settings are horrible. I am a huge fan of Hardee’s, and we have a number of them around the city I live in (Pensacola, Florida). I was happy to finally see an app available, however, the location portion does not work at all. It’s impossible to lock in on one of the local Hardee’s, and as a result, I can’t put an order through. The app still needs a lot of improvement.

Kicked out of account twice. Not once, but *twice* now, I’ve been logged out of my account. Both times, despite the fact that my password keychain has all my login information saved on it, the app somehow *still* won’t allow me access, saying that my information is incorrect. Both times have happened in less than 6 months, and I’ve lost all of my rewards points twice now.

App no good. This app is useless. Tried repeatedly to place an order and app keeps saying unavailable. When I got to the restaurant I had to go inside to order. Wouldn’t be a big deal but I am on oxygen and walking any distance is hard for me. Drive thru window not very well marked and didn’t see it till we were leaving. The food was good but I think I will be crossing Hardee’s off of my list of places to stop for a quick meal.

More options. If I remove ketchup or mustard, I should have the option to add mayonnaise or vise versa. What if someone wants extra ketchup? There’s no option. I didn’t check but also an option for no ice in the drink. Or at least a tab to add packs of ketchup, mustard or Mayo or whatever other sauce they offer. Also, we need to be able to add tomato or bacon to a biscuit

Every things is good except. Does not have Apple Pay. Please implement Apple Pay then it deserves 5 stars it may have Apple Pay as guest but when I created my account, the Apple Pay option was not available. So I had to use my card.

They lie to get you to buy things. I got and email saying that it I spent $5.00 or more I would get 500 points. But when I purchased way more than that they didn’t give me the points. I emailed but never got a response. It’s just a scam. They won’t answer emails. Second time this has happened. When I went there again I went to scan my receipt for points but it said that I already got to many that day. That one was the only one that I scanned. They have no idea what they are doing.

Needs Improvement. I regularly use the Chick-fil-a, McDonalds, Dunkin, Dominos, and Starbucks app, but this one is severely lacking, to the point where I haven’t been able to get any rewards at all! I have tried entering the receipt and ordering ahead on the app, but it still failed to give me any stars/rewards. It was so bad that I gave up after 4 attempts to use it (4 separate visits). I suggest studying the chick-fil-a app as there’s is the best. I will gladly try again if the app is fixed/improved!

Alternative Payments. I only use the app to add stars from our tickets. Why? I don’t like the thoughts of storing my credit/debit card information into an application. Too many companies have been breached. Can you please incorporate Apple Pay, Google Pay, Paypal some alternative method without customers storing that kind of info in an app?

Could Be Better. The rewards are good and everything works okay. However, the app is slow opening and I have to enter my password at least once a week. Mobile ordering is supposed to speed things up, so those things are annoying!

Lots of work needs done on here. 1. Won’t let me order a chicken and biscuit on the mobile app. I can only order in person 2. It won’t let me edit what I want on my sandwich. Example: if I click that I want to get a ham sandwich I can’t edit it and add that I want to add mayo or tomato to my sandwich. It’s insane to me to have an app where the customer can’t edit what they want on it. 3. The rewards going through on the order is a hit or miss.

Ripped off. Recently I used the Hardee’s App to order breakfast and after getting to Hardee’s to pickup my order the Manager Willie was very rude telling my what I ordered was no longer being served and he couldn’t issues a refund I had to get a refund through the app which isn’t an option. Now a week later several emails sent and tried to call the only number listed and yet no refund or help. I DONT Recommend using their App unless you want to lose your money… very disappointed

Do the stores even connect to the app? Aka- Take the money and close. Placed an order for pickup, was charged, drove to the store. Pulled around and waited, someone came over the intercom and informed me that they were closed. Said I had a mobile order and maybe it was made- no response. So, I don’t think the stores honor the app or don’t keep consistent hours or something. Also, no way to register a complaint or try to get a refund in the app. So, how do I get a refund or credit? Not a fan of driving half an hour one way for nothing.
