It needs improvement but overall it’s good. I hope the can let the free users have more defensive options when by getting dox or something or someone trying look for your information or spam us. Great app. Is a great vpn app. But as lately, seems to glitch or other and should not. Bering was a adguard pro, adguard family and vpn lifetime investor’s. Although, all and all. The app is super quick and one of the best vpn apps of all time. Please fix recent glitch

I’ve been wanting this!. I’ve had AdGuard Pro for years and have always had to choose between blocking ads and using a VPN, but now I don’t have to! This was so easy to set up, and my data speeds are completely unaffected on both WiFi and 5G.

Something keeps tripping turning off adguard VPN. When I look at my settings I see Adguard VPN is turned off. When I turned it on 1 hour ago. I even selected “on demand” stay connected. Once I open up a gaming Apps. When I saw on the upper right corner shows VPN flashing next to the battery icon. When I checked VPN profile, it shows Adguard VPN is turned off. Someone or a bug keeps tripping the VPN profile to turn off. When I selected “On Demand” which means the Adguard VPN should stay connected. Yet when “on demand” is turned off. It shows someone is deactivating my VPN.

Great for playing mobile games in peace!. For anyone who’s looking for a VPN just to block ads in app games; this works great. So far I’ve strictly only used it to play some mobile games that have annoying pop-up ads and it works 100% Definitely recommend if you play a lot of mobile games that have ads.

life saver. I had data collection turned off for Google Analytics and ads for years. Thanks to this app I realized that that was not the case, and blocked them immediately. Even Apple’s sending tons of requests! If I hadn’t gotten this, my info would probably be in a data leak again😅

Just Fantastic!. I tried many different vpns to get connected from US to Russia and vice versa and nothing worked stable and reproducible. After about a year of multiple switches between different VPNs I was advised to try AdGuard. To my surprise this resolved all the problems!!! Practically no speed drop and it even woks at pretty low internet speed (below 5 mbs). Needless to say it easily accesses ANY site including those under a double firewall! It’s really fantastic! Just got app!. I’m trying this app for the first time and just purchased it. So far seems easy to use. Looks like it will be a great app to have/recommend.

I’ve had a lot of issues. With a ton of back door access into a lot of VPN including hidden apps and downloaded programs into my email along with many other security issues that I have made my device send malware to anyone that access my device. Is that illegal ?

Pretty Good. This is gonna be short (or shorter it seems) With this I would be able to browse whenever I want without annoyances getting in my way.

Huge Drop In Quality Lately. When this app and service first rolled out I was more than happy to jump onboard and dump Proton VPN, it worked flawlessly all the time, every time. But a little by little later, the usability of this app/service has dropped to near zero. I don't know what has happened behind the scenes but I'm tired of having to manually connect/disconnect the vpn just to refresh the connection to get it working again without leaving my apps and restarting those too. Sometimes nothing works until I restart my phone, I tried using Proton VPN again, and sure enough everything works fine. I'm done with this service for now but I really hope you guys can pull something together cause this is insanity compared to the masterpiece that is Adguard itself.

Server crashes. I really would love to give higher stars but I just recently purchased the AdGuard VPN and configured everything properly and even tested it leaving everything as is and recommended but recently been having every server listed crash on numerous occasions but other than that pretty easy and simple and enjoy when it does work

Works great at first. I noticed the speeds on my internet had slowed down drastically—like, dial-up speed drastic. Got rid of cache, closed unused apps, etc, trying to figure out what was going on. Then went to the VPN app and saw some notice about “speed lost,” or something like that. I immediately deleted the app, and now all of my speeds are back to normal. I’d never pay for this app.

Wasted money - not a fully developed product.. Works best when uninstalled, limited features, poor integration with their adblocker. Could not get anything done while installed, gave up after a few days, nothing but laggy connections and constant "no internet" errors. How do I get refund? no point having a vpn that needs to be turned off to get something done.

Best ad blocker I downloaded. I made the right choice to download this ad because I get A LOT OF AD POP UPS if this did not exist I would be going insane with all these adds

Excellent VPN. Having not had experience with VPN gateways, I did some research and found out that even my home Wi-Fi system can be hacked, so I had decided to put an additional VPN firewall, and I am pleased. I verified these locations through my Internet, speed apps, and the connections were all verified. I am satisfied with this service and the value of it!

AdGuard Guardian of your ads. Any company that says they don’t track you across the internet and allows you to hide your ip from trackers is great as long as they aren’t lying. I would hope that a product that is paid for actually provides the service they offer. Anyway great app and easy to use.

No service. So it was working really well for a couple of days. But then one day none I couldn’t connect to the internet. I couldn’t connect to the Apple Store. So I shut it off, and I had service again. It blocks my connection to the internet.

Force me to rate you, you get 1 star. The title of this review was copied from an earlier review by another person. In April of 2021, a paid user gave this app 1 star because the app asked for a rating before the user had a chance to use the app much. The *Developer Response* said that they had “passed this information to our developers so our developers can solve the problem!” So, the *Developer Response* wasn’t written by a developer. Maybe the devs figured that giving users an option not to provide a rating was solving the problem. I would not say that the app currently *forces* a rating, but the prompt for a rating came within one second of the first VPN connection. Also, the App Store info states that the free version has “limited functionality” with no further details as to what those limits are. If there is a data usage limit per day/week/month, then the writeup should say that.

Doesn’t work. The browser will say you’re in another country but the phone doesn’t. Apps still recognize your location and the whole point of a VPN is to change your location. Doesn’t actually work. Just costs $13 a month for nothing of value. Just slower internet because it needs to route you through their locations, but in the end everything still knows who and where you are. Waste of money do not buy. Only fools believe this works.

Connection stability - Incredibly slow - App looks good, Ninja characterer’s aesthetics. It pains me to give this app such a low review because I know, given some the time, these adGuard devs will knock this out of the park just like they did with their other products! So long as Apple can mind their own and not pull any of their weird stuff. However, it’s just not quite there in its current state. And I’d be very hard pressed to pay for the premium at this point in time. It seemed to be rolling pretty well but something was causing it to frequently get disconnected then connect again and so on and so forth. Which may have been causing the other issue of when it was able to get connected it was at extremely slow speeds and and sometimes unloaded and I had to get rid of it for now.! But I will be waiting on to come back and change this review once it’s where we expect it to be, in due time! Because as I mentioned, the app itself it’s looks very good!! I think it’s even cleaner looking than the original app(s). Which are vanity amazing! . The difference imo is the new face of the app. The ninja very cool footing backgtound . All I can say is I can’t wait to be back when she’s really ready to rock

It works but not in all cases. Well, the app seems to work for most of the cases, but in case when you use apps like Facebook it does not conceal your location. I can see that Facebook still see that I’m in USA even though the settings in the AdGuard VPN are set to a different location. Now even though I changed the location in the Facebook app somewhere in Europe it still sees as I’m located in USA so bunch of ads on my Facebook wall get based on my location. I mention that I have set the Facebook app to not have access to the location or anything like that. I tried different settings in the AdGuard VPN even in combination with AdGuard ads blocker and still not working to conceal the I.P. The ads are still coming in on different apps you might use on the iPad or iPhone. The issue is to block more than just web browser ads. For that there are different apps to do just that for free.

Effective, but also need improvements. The subscription is not expensive and there is no bandwidth or traffic limit. That already makes it a good VPN product. The Windows beta client almost never connects although the Chrome extension on the same device works without a problem. The PAC-like rule is handy, what it is now might be enough for browser but to be a global VPN, there is so much left to be done. The software really lags when you import a huge list which commonly works smoothly with a personally built socks server. I know China is not one of the regular places when judging a VPN. AdGuard VPN had been functioning properly a while ago but is getting less and less stable. It is common to see no available locations now. On Windows, I have a fallback v2ray server (based on completely free VPS, domain name, nat64 and CDN, so it not not going to be very reliable) which also helps it to connect to AdGuard servers. However on iOS, VPNs mostly cannot live together so the trick cannot be done and I haven’t figured out a walk-around.

Most functional vpn on iOS. I normally try to only use open source software wherever possible and I still use a wireguard vpn on my laptop but as far as an iOS vpn? This is by far the most functional one on the App Store. It's fast, easy to configure and as far as I've seen it's literally the only vpn on iPhone that has split tunneling. It works a little different than normal split tunneling but it still makes it possible to run this 24/7 without getting locked out of your banking apps, etc that normally block vpn connections. TBH I think you guys should really advertise this functionality more because I spent so much time trying to find a vpn that let me do this and I tried so many trials to so many other vpns and none of them had it but you guys. Keep up the good work <3

Not ready. When enabled, it disables all internet. When disconnected, it attempts to to enable itself in the system settings. It will toggle between cellular and known WIFI networks without allowing me to disable that feature. Overly persistent and unrefined execution. The main thing it has going for it is that it works with the AdGuard app at the same time.

Best VPN right now. This has to be the best VPN service at this moment. I am subscribed to more expensive VPNs but always had issues. Adguard VPN flawlessly works on all my platforms and the performance is great. I just hope it will remain this good.

Just all around amazing.. Its a cheap VPN that doesn’t sacrifice quality. Even gives good protection to those without a subscription. Was using the free version for about a week and happily bought a yearly subscription, 100% worth it IMO.

Force me to rate you, you get 1 star. I barely had the opportunity to click through half of the configuration settings, and I get a pop-up to rate the app/service. That really annoys me, but what's worse is that my ONLY choices were to rate the app (which I didn't feel like doing yet, I didn't have enough experience with it), OR report a problem, which took me out of the app. I didn't want to report a problem, and I didn't want to rate the app. But you forced me to do something out of the app. So 1 star, blanket policy. Do better, stop freaking bugging you users to make crappy ratings. If this were a free period, I'm probably just stop using the app, and you'd lose a sale. As it is, I paid for a year, so you having for that long. But you're starting with a negative score already, before I consider renewing next year.

Reliability. I’ve had AdGuard for a few months now. It’s reliable and prevents hacks consistently. Shows me detailed reports of where viruses or trackers are coming in from. Allows me to Understand how sensitive information is.

You should give me free premium. I love all the AdGuard stuff including the Adblock just makes sense I should get some type of deal I would love to have free premium for the AdGuard VPN I suggested this app to all if yo friends and this app is so helpful with daily situations Thank You!!!

Give it a shot. Signing up for a VPN can be daunting but it’s worth considering if you’re on the fence. What sets the VPN apart from its competitors, is that it’s open source! This company is community driven by many contributors who want to help make a great product. Although you don’t have big features like the ‘other’ guys. What you have is dang solid VPN. Also, if you live where you may have restricted or heavily filtered online experience. This app could possibly help you break through those barriers. Setapp introduced US (ADGuard). I’m new to Setapp, but my first impression is impressive & when you don’t think it’s possible to go ‘above and beyond’, they out-do themselves with this VPN in their suite. To go to the Setapp to get setup it’s like going to a dating site for a date, simple enough right? After being setup with ‘Setapp’ and ‘AdGuard’, it’s like their first match on the dating site is becoming my wife. I went to them for a specific reason, and they surpassed my expectation right out the gate! Thanks! (4 stars is simply because I haven’t been on the app for more that 30 minutes, and I don’t see anything that shouldn’t merit 5 stars, but when I get acclimated to things I will come back to confirm, deny, edit or repost a corrected rating. Too early to be sure, but I’m buying the ring)

I like the app a lot and it does help but my problem is ever since I got the app Ive not been connecting to wifi or data correctly I made sure my wifi is trusted on the app but I still can’t connect and as safe as this makes me think I am I rather be able to connect to wifi then have protection I may or may not need

Love it.. Works best on non-iPhones but does a fine job on Safari 95% of the time. I recommend you use the VPN and definitely turn on most or all of the optional filters. That’s important.

Great VPN / ad blocker for iPhone!. Works well, keeps the bugs away and out so far having no issues. User friendly for the most part. Remember to use the connect on demand button on iPhone for it to run continuously. It’s the only VPN and Ad Blocker combo I use.

Updated review... This disconnects to such an extreme, saying the phrase “a lot” doesn’t do it justice. It can really slow your phone down. I question the reviews here, I’m not sure Apple would allow fake reviews but I’ve used this on two phones and my iPad and they all experience the same thing. I don’t experience what these reviews are saying, so these reviews to me are questionable. iMessage doesn’t work properly, when switching from WiFi to LTE, messages won’t come through until you either turn on and off airplane mode or connect to WiFi again. Same thing with emails, they don’t come through when switching, or sometimes in general, WiFi or not. FaceTime calls are garbage when on this vpn yet not with others, so it’s just this vpn. The good: it works with your Adguard Pro..but why wouldn’t they just add what Adguard does on their VPN? So many VPNs have ad blocking features and many other things, paying twice seems like a cash grab. There’s times where it does work though, and you see it’s potential, so that’s that. Hope it improves, but I wouldn’t spend money on a yearly subscription just yet.

Has never changed in years. Same boring unaltering vpn app year after year that gives the same address every time you connect to a city. I could really complain about worse issues using this vpn like I have wanted to for years but it would unlikely work in my favor so I have kept my mouth shut. At least start using the money you make from google to start adding extra cities like in Australia & try rotating the addresses more often. A lot of people seem to mainly use it because it works with AdGuard, otherwise they would likely use a vpn that cares more about your privacy with it while it keeps dropping & restarting the connection. It’s the only vpn app that I know of that never changes. Let’s just say ‘Companies needed to be more careful who they hire, as AdGuard for example years ago use to put security way ahead,especially when browsing their website logged in. Even AdGuards dns sloppily uses google deceiving many who don’t know it

For an unsecured network. Ad guard is great for Safari. So many ads literally gone, VPN - I don’t need one for home, but an unsecured “Starbucks” network and just to play it safe you can’t go wrong. A lot of advanced options I have to learn, but it’s just a safe feeling even if you don’t need it.

The one VPN that doesn’t get detected by sites!. I’ve tried all the major VPNs you’ve heard of. None of them were bad, but…there’s just certain sites that most VPNs gat blocked by. Meaning the page won’t load, or at least you can’t log in. This is the ONLY VPN I’ve tried(out of a dozen) that I’ve had ZERO problems wit on ANY site. See their page on how they achieve this, and how their VPN works differently than the others out there!

Wasted my money.. I don’t know what I am doing wrong but, when I connect to the UK, the BBC and others know I am not in the UK. When I connect to the US, it is hit and miss. The integration didn’t work either, ads all the way.

GG to the devs. Willing to adopt Wireguard. The host file we need access to. - AdGuard IMHO is best alternative welcomed by all the pihole users, whilst root access isn't available. Excellent

Significant performance hit. Speedtest results show a significant performance hit when using AdGuard VPN, particularly on upload speeds. Kill switch feature doesn’t work at all -it does nothing. No way to specify a list of trusted networks or connection types. On the other hand, many apps and websites can’t detect that you’re using a VPN and so you’re blocked a lot less often than say with PIA or other VPNs.

Works well so far. Servers I tried worked well (US, CA, JP, TW). A function to add favorite servers would be nice! Hopefully CN server will be added in the future. It’ll be awesome if on demand mode is implemented too, but that’s probably more useful on desktop/browser extension.

AdGuard is a great app and helps keep you safe !. I really haven’t use this for long on my phone, but I have on my fire stick and it does a good job all the time .

Used to be good. I thought it just stopped working on Google-YouTube but both the Adguard AND VPN apps don’t like to work with other apps. With the insane lack of privacy on mobile devices and apps it would be much appreciated if this problem could be fixed. Seems to be a persistent issue…

Practically everything is blocked. Not sure what’s going on with their servers, but most sites and apps stop loading when connected to the vpn. The only “advice” support had was to uninstall and re-install and then they preceded to immediately close the support ticket before I can even let them know that it didn’t help.

Internet Connection Problems. Just bought a year subscription on sale and it’s been lagging my internet connection ever since. I’ve been using the original AdGuard app just fine for a while now but as soon as I installed AdGuard VPN on my iPhone XS, I lose connection to the internet sporadically throughout the day for about 10-15 minutes each time. Feels like a waste of money.

Integrated. When using the vpn and the ADgaurd pro do I need them both on in settings or only one on?

Not accessible for the visually impaired. After installing the application, a title screen pops up with what looks like a picture and some text and a button. Voice says that the button says continue, but you cannot detect what the images or read any of the text, and tapping the continue button does nothing.

Doesn’t give any adds. This app is so much better and it really doesn’t give any adds on other websites!

Great. Easy interface and setup. Made an account and got protected in a few minutes

Unusable. When I register it takes me to a captia then when I use the caoti it takes me back to me email and password screen. When I try and log in with Apple ID it takes me back to email password screen. When I click app support it takes me back to the email password screen. Completely unusable

today all of sudden it stopped working. today all of sudden it stopped working deleted and reinstalled but now i can even get the VPN installed. This app is glitchy and it gets unreliable as it goes. I am paying for this, if it doesn't work or connect. Need to talk to customer service or tech person at adguard to figure this out

I kept getting ads. I thought I had this. It seems to disconnect a lot. So I got it again today with high hopes. I may have missed a step last time.

Testing. I’m testing it out & may switch to this from Express VPN simply due to the much cheaper price. I am going to update this to 5 stars if it meets my expectations.

I just loaded it and you immediately want a review. Asking me to give a review immediately after installation isn’t helpful, and takes time that’s not useful. I haven’t even looked at it yet. So, 1 star since I have no idea yet what it really is. It’s annoying that I am force-directed to do a review by the app before being able to use it.

Works as it should in iOS.. No problems so far. ExpressVPN didn’t work with AdGuard blocker DNS on iOS, so, I was waiting for this. Works great. Integrates well.

Few issues, but very solid overall. I have run into a few sites/apps that have loading issues, but overall this does everything I expect it to.

Network issue. Network issue on VPN won’t allow me to disconnect. Wifi and cellular data show as unavailable as a result

VPN. I’m new at this I just purchased the App today and now the VPN as well which is very confusing. I thought once you purchased the Adblock App you were getting the VPN as well so I don’t understand why I have to pay for Adblock App and also the Adblock VPN too.???

Awesome team and with awesome products. I’ve been using AdGuard products for year and they have great support and reliability. On iOS the AdGuard Pro and VPN apps work together perfectly and I had no issues with setup. Was able to get two devices setup and connected with both apps integrated. VPN speed is good for my location and haven’t had any connectivity issues. Can’t wait for the macOS version to be released!

Not working on firestick. The app is not working properly on my firestick. The window is distorted or not properly aligned and navigating on the AdGuard screen is tedious and frustrating. I couldn’t test the efficiency of the VPN because I didn’t see it connected to do what it is supposed to do. So I’m canceling my subscription for a full refund.

Good but.... Some of countries are under hard net filtering and sanctions... iran 🇮🇷is for example. We haven't access and cant pay money unfortunately. We need to have free access to internet. Sos help & take our hands 🙏🏻

Basic Functionality. Add a connect to the fastest location button. Do you really expect users to search a server every time?

adguard vpn. I like it so far, have been using cloudflare warp. but as it does not let you use servers you want . i have been looking for an alternative. i tried nordvpn but it’s kind of pricy. so i’m trying this vpn.

Best ad blocker I downloaded. I made the right choice to download this ad because I get A LOT OF AD POP UPS if this did not exist I would be going insane with all these adds

Easy to use!. Simple user interface and is seems to be secure so far. No complaints!

Disconnects. It disconnects constantly all my locations disappear and my internet says no connection, as soon as I turn off the VPN everything starts working again. I payed for the full year so hopefully this gets fixed AdGuard ad blocker works great that’s why I subscribed to this unfortunately I can’t say the same
