Doesn’t work. I entered all information into the account creation page, including the forced acceptance to their marketing emails, and it keeps telling me I need to fill in all the fields… so I can’t use it at all

Buggy. Choosing a month and year in the age picker is difficult to impossible. I get errors saying the age profile and age selected do not match when they really do. Needs some developer attention.

Good app! One bug!. Overall this app is great. One thing, looks like the timeline and the times on the graph are off by an hour. So for example if you take a temp read (or take medication, write notes, whatever) at 8am the profile graph shows on the graph as 7am. Please fix. Thank you!

Bug fixed and working perfectly: my previous comment on 10/26/2022 - "App crashes during ...". I gave only one star on 10/26, but would like to correct it to 5 stars now!! I reported the bug, development team responded with a fixed apparently - I just created my profile, paired with Connect 7+ thermometer ... everything works perfectly now!!! Do report if you would have a problem - they care and will respond!!! They deserve 5 stars now :)

Terrible app with lots of bugs. First, you have to scroll through pages and pages of terms and conditions and accept. Then you have to scroll through pages and pages of other terms and accept. You can finally create an account t after that. Then you can add family members. When setting a birthdate, it wants a month and a year, but the only thing available is a month picker. You can’t choose any moth that is later than the current month, because that would be choosing a birthdate in the future. Yet you can’t choose a different year because the year picker doesn’t display until after you choose the month, tap done, and then tap the exact same field you were on, at which point the year and month picker actually both display at the same time. I can’t add my entire family, as every time I add the sixth member, the app crashes.

Taiwan customer. Hi, We bought a Braun thermometer but we are not able to use the app to record the temperature from Taiwan. Please could you adjust this or let us know any app we could use it? Thank you very much Ruby Huang

Does not sync with Apple Health. The app does not connect with Apple Health. Tat makes the appnext to useless for me. Is such an egregious oversight that the I lay explanation could be that they don’t really support this app. The thermometer is good. The app, come on… Also, the signup UX is very bad. Whoever designed this app, has never watched someone actually go through the process of using it. You stub your toe repeatedly because of bad UX decisions. Braun should be embarrassed. They’re known for classic quality design. This is not that. This works like a cheap off shore developed app. Update: I emailed support, per the request of the developer, and unsurprisingly, no one responded. This is effectively an unsupported app.

No Apple Health & Security Concern. It’s only a thermometer but Braun wants your name, location, zip code, age, gender, device information, height, weight and your first born child. Sure they don’t sell your information that can identify you but they assign a unique ID to your profile. A unique ID, as unique as my name is going to anonymize my data…right, seems legit. Also, no Apple Health integration which seems like a major oversight with iOS devices. I hope Apple just creates a single point of connection, like HomeKit, where your can add your device instead of having an app for all the other devices just so the other companies can have my data. It’s not all bad, it does take the temperature from their device with it’s Bluetooth connection. A device that cost as much as a doctor’s visit where I can have a PhD/MD take the temperature for me and tell me what’s wrong.

Cannot Sign Up. The button to accept the privacy policy does not work, so I am unable to setup an account to use the app. Hopefully, they can fix this bug soon.

Work as described. Upgraded my Braun thermometer after 13 years. It is well worth the money. The app is very easy to use and make the monitoring so much easier. Love it. Bought another one for my friend as well.

Pointless. With no support for Apple HealthKit this app ranges from pointless to useless. Am returning my thermometer and getting the cheaper non connected one. (Also the required birthdate entry is broken first only showing month until a month is selected at which point it automatilay selects the current year, you then you have to go back in to select your birth year)

It works. I am able to use this app to sync with the device and retrieve the measured temperature records. I would love it even more if the synced data can be automatically imported into the Apple Health app.

Privacy Nightmare. The only way to use this app is to agree to let them sell the information about you and your children’s temperatures, sure it’s supposedly anonymous, but if you know anything about data brokers this is simply not true. Braun and the app developers are awful to require this use of your personal health info, in order to use the app. I might understand if they provided you an opt in option (vs agree or you don’t get to use the Bluetooth) but my family’s health info should not be a requirement to use basic features of a product I already paid extra for (vs the cost of a non Bluetooth version). Braun you should be ashamed.
