Great APP!. The first I’ve seen for palliative wounds and so comprehensive. A great tool for everyone involved with wounds with thorough descriptions and pictures for easy identification. Valuable information at a low cost! Highly recommended!

Evidence Based Wound Assessment and Treatment Options at Your Fingertips. The Palliative Wound Pro App is very comprehensive. It provides descriptions, images, treatments and even case studies on all wound categories. By design, the App is user friendly, and outlines quick answers and rationales for any field clinician. The treatment recommendations include products found on the shelves of nearly all home health agencies. If I could rate this App higher than 5 stars, I would!

Update issues. Not functioning after iOS update- however the fastest response and solution! I didn’t realize how much I use this app as a reference until it didn’t work! I appreciate the fast resolution! This app is an amazing resource!

Hospice nurse practitioner. Wow!! This is the tool I have been looking for to address wound care for patients with end stage disease. The app is extremely helpful with photos and treatment plans for a variety of wound types. A+ site! Highly recommended!

Description is deceptive. This looks like a good app for anyone who is involved in Wound Care, BUT what the description does NOT mention is that you cannot view anything without purchasing a subscription. Please understand: I have no objection to subscription based services, but if one is required, that requirement should be stated up front.

Best wound care app I’ve found. This app is easy to navigate and provides a wealth of information through images and descriptions to assist with all stages of wound care. I continue to it as a quick reference to give the best care possible to my patients

Subscription now required. Very useful app, but frustrated that it was initially $5 for the app and it now requires an annual subscription.

Anyone in palliative/hospice care needs this app. I’m a nurse educator for a moderate-sized hospice program and I loved this app so much that we just added it to all of our nurses and aides devices. I have received very positive feedback from the staff. Now they have immediate assistance to help Dx a type of wound, stage PI’s and look up treatments all while they are with the patients. They especially like the pictures. It is also very consistent with our own formulary and has even inspired me to add and item! Great for varying levels of experience with wounds, even those very experienced who may need to “switch” to a more palliative perspective on wound care. Great job!

Great resource for any hospice home care nurse!. This is app is an excellent example of using tools in the field to better patient care. When I started in home care, I was not so skilled with understanding what wounds looked like at each stage and different treatment options. This app helps me understand a wound I see and helps me provide recommendations for the provider for wound care orders. Since using this app, I feel like I have resource in the field when I’m visiting my patients in their homes and need a quick reference. Right now this app is free, but I would pay for this kind of app or try to get my company to pay for it for my coworkers and I to use in the field.

Great app!. I’ve tried other apps which deal with wound care, but this is by far the best. Palliative Wound Care pro is easy to use, highly informative and has excellent graphics. I learned a great deal through reviewing the case studies. A description, image and treatment options are presented for each wound category. This app is a great resource for clinicians treating wounds and provides the best treatment option for a WOCN nurse practitioner.

Excellent App for nurses ❤️!. I love this app as I perform wound care on a lot of my patients! I’m a palliative nurse and I see wounds a lot. I love that this is very practical and helpful in knowing what kinds of wounds my patients have (arterial, pressure ulcer, venous ulcer, skin tear etc) and treatments for specific wounds. Thumbs up to this App👍🏻

Excellent resource. I am an FNP at a large hospice organization in NY. This app has quickly become my go-to for a quick and efficient wound care consult. The pictures the app provides as a reference point are intricately descriptive and often VERY relevant to what I see in the field. The app is laid out really well with easily accessible advice and the guidance on how to manage every kind of wound is always applicable to the situation, especially with regards to fragile hospice patients who cannot undergo aggressive surgeries and hospital debridement. Five stars!!!

Excellent Wound/Ostomy Resource!!!. This app provides the information a busy clinician needs to treat patients w wounds & ostomies!!! It also has symptom management options when the goals may switch to palliation ❤️‍🩹 I LOVE that it now has 10 CE credits for the healthcare team!!! (Nurses, NPs, physicians, PAs, RDs, SWs, psychologists…) All for less than a cup of coffee ☕️ $4.99 a year!!! It is a truly great resource for our nursing and medical staff. Our Home Care division is also planning to encourage their staff to use it.

Great resource for all levels. The app not only offers a great combination of principles in assessment and management of a range of wounds, but also describes and illustrates available products in an unbiased way. This makes it very practical. It is helpful for an experienced practitioner by expanding the range of one’s tools, as well as an instructional guide for someone new to wound care. OMG This is so clear and well done!. OMG I LOVE THIS APP!!!! This is my new go-to!!! I’m a palliative care NP and have to assess and manage wounds every day I work. This really clarifies evidenced based assessment, diagnosis, management, and ACTUAL products to use (without a financial agenda as to which product is chosen). The whole app is super clear and easy to use and I love all the pictures. Does every MD/NP managing wounds in a palliative care environment have this?!?!?! If not, they should!

Look no further. This app has it all for hospice clinicians diagnosing and treating patients with wounds at end of life. Comprehensive, easy to use with images of all types of wounds. Essential Reference for all Care Settings. Wound Care Pro is a very comprehensive guide to wounds and ostomies. This app has evidenced based articles written by an expert clinician and is not brand focused - meaning product examples are introduced by category in a neutral manner. (Very useful when working with a particular formulary based on what is made available by your employer.) This app would also be a great gift for a coworker or new graduate. I am currently a wound care nurse and recommend it frequently to new hires and coworkers- easily worth the price point which could be much higher imo.

Theresa Kempf RN,MSN,Np. Ann Walsh is an excellent clinician! This has been an excellent tool to educate staff and care for wound patients. The site is evidenced based and even provides references. I highly recommend this site for new grads and anyone who provides care within the wound care field.

Finally an easy to use app for wound management. As a long time hospice nurse this app is what is needed when you need to decide quickly what dressings to suggest to the MD when you call for orders. Because we all know our Docs depend on us to be their eyes and ears to know our stuff when it comes to wounds and how to treat them. Great app!
