Best Thermometer to Date. I received this thermometer free from Influenster to test and give my HONEST review on. I have two kids. Boys, at that. I love how easy it is to keep track of their fevers when their sick and having everything right here on my phone so I can refer back to it. I also love that I can write down when they've had their medicine, and track if their temps have gone up or down. Truly if I hadn't gotten this for free I would've bought it. So easy to use. Thank you Vicks!

Not bad orally. The underarm temps are off but the oral temps seemed accurate. In my experience, it's been a good product! The thermometer itself is sleek and nice looking. The app is designed to sync with the thermometer so you can track each temp taken. You can add each member of the household. There are three options to take the temp: oral, rectal, or underarm. I found the underarm is not reliable with this product. The oral was the best route. The cons of this product was that you must have your phone to know what the temp is. Not good if your phone is dead or you left it in the other room. On the flip side, the phone is keeping track of the temps for you so you're able to organize the time and better gauge the time a fever has elapsed. There are flaws, but I think overall it's worth having. I received mine free for testing purposes. I would recommend it to a mom for sure!

inaccurate !! terrible !! total crap !!. 1st: having to give a star for this crap is one star too many for this useless thermometer! took temperature 5 times in a row and got completely different results each time ranging from 95.9 to 98.7 and all that within 15 minutes. I then used a classic mercury thermometer twice in a row and both times I got 98.9. If a fever thermometer cannot give you accurate readings well then it's just useless, plain and simple, no matter how nice the app is; the thermometer does not work. after reading all the wonderful reviews on here I thought that maybe my thermometer had been broken so I returned it and purchased a new one. The same happened. I just took my temperature orally 5 times in a row again. Every reading was completely different. I got temperatures from 97. 5 too 100.8. (!!) I honestly do not understand these good reviews of the product. It is totally inaccurate and 100% useless. Sure, the app is nice and shiny and looks good but what good is that if you're trying to find out whether you've got a fever or not and instead of an accurate reading you get some random readings that have nothing to do with your actual body temperature. Very, very frustrating. Advice: DON'T BUY THIS PIECE OF CRAP FOR IT IS A WASTE OF $ and time with a dash of extra annoying. FEEL BETTER Y'ALL !

Not Accurate. I like how much quicker it reads the temp than other thermometers, and I also like how it keeps track of your whole family's temps on one app, but I found that the readings were not accurate. I took 3 temps in a row and none were the same, or even close to being the same.

Love it. I received the Vicks thermometer for free to try out from Influenster. I think it's great. I haven't had any problems with the app or the thermometer. The readings I've seen have all been accurate. I love how convenient it is when going to the Drs for my kids and giving her the specific time, date, and the temp reading.

Parents Choice!. My 5 year old got sick Saturday. I received the Vicks smart temp thermometer from influenester to try out not to long ago for free. This was first time I had some sicklings. I loved I could monitor her temps, medication, set reminders, and do the same for multiple kids. When I talked to doctor I was very informed and not oh crap when did I do this. In the middle of the night I knew when and what I had to do it was in one place!

Accuracye, great tracking. This app is so easy to use, I actually received this product to test from influencer. I ended up actually running a fever shortly after receiving the product the app let me track my temperatures to see that it was going down. I compared to another thermometer at my house and the Vicks app and thermometer are very accurate! Love this product and app. Recommend !!

Love this app/thermometer combo!. This is such a handy thermometer and app. I love how I can have a different profile for each family member. It keeps a record of the previously record temperature readings, so I can use those to compare. I also like how it has the color coded readings. It gives you an idea right away if the the temperature is normal, elevated, or in the feverish range.

Great product. I really liked this thermometer. The app and the thermometer itself seemed to work great and was very accurate. Although I still would've like for it to have the reading on the thermometer itself because when all three of my kids were sick, of course I could not find my phone lol.

Very handy. I love this thermometer and app. It stores my entire family's temperatures and allows me to input symptoms with each reading. The readings are color coded so you know if the temperature is normal, mild, or high. For the kids my preferred method is under arm. I've compared readings with other thermometers and this is accurate. The readings are very quick and even my squiggly 14 month old can stay still long enough. Only downside is there isn't a display on the thermometer itself so it must be used with the app. I received this product free for testing purposes.

Extremely Blind Friendly!. I appreciate the overall simplicity this app provides. I am a blind individual. It has always been a chore to tell my temp. I had a thermometer that had differing audible beeps. This was to let you know an approximate of your temp. However, then I would need sighted assistance to know actual temp. Along came the smart thermometers. Great idea, which provides the blind community it's independence. I first purchased a much more expensive unit from Withings. Couldn't even activate the thermometer. The app didn't work with a screen reader... So I couldn't even finish activating my account. Along comes the Vicks Smart Thermometer... The app is completely accessible for a blind individual to use. Not only that; I didn't have to open an account... Then build a profile. This app just has you start a profile. Building a basic profile and activating my thermometer took less than 5minutes to complete. Then was able to take first temperature reading. I can now follow my temp when not feeling well... More importantly, I do not need to bother someone to read a temp for me when running a fever. Highly recommend to those in my blind community... Easy setup with directions already in the app. You can't go wrong!

Works fine but no health app integration. The thermometer words fine and has no problems connecting to the phone nearly every time without any fuss. However, there is no health app integration.

The new way to take yours and your kids temp. Hello my name is Natalie. I am a mother of 2 ages 4 and 5 years old. When they are sick taking their temp is no easy task there's looking for paper or if none writing. The temps in my arm to keep track of them. It's just crazy and my kids are getting impatient because they already dont feel well. I was lucky enough to be part of a social testing group called influenster that lets you test products that match up to certain surveys you take. I was matched with this very thermometer whichever me tell you came just in time! My daughter had suddenly came with the flu over night and having a thermometer that links to your phone and every time you take the temp it reads it and stores and let's you I put the symptoms is every moms best friend . We already naturally have our phones with us or our child is playing games on it so access to the phone a snap. I grabbed thermometer used the Bluetooth connectivity and took my child's temp and there it displayed the temp and showed me through out the day what the different temps were and at what time I even emailed with the option to To my husband her almost chart so he can see her temps it's great for sending to doctors or saving for the next visit letting them see how the child been feeling I'm a huge fan and recommend for those moms that need a fast way to take temp and keep organized

Great App & Thermometer. I love this new Vicks SmartTemp app. It records all the readings you want & for each person separately. Let's you keep track of symptoms & all the info you need to share with your dr for you or your family. It has definitely made my life easier in this way. The only things that are a little annoying is you need the app to use the thermometer & you have to activate Bluetooth each time. Would be helpful if you could authorize it to automatically activate the Bluetooth feature. Otherwise I HIGHLY recommend this app & thermometer!!

Great concept however...... I love the concept of this app. I really loved the individual profiles so you can keep track of multiple temperatures. It seemed like every time I tried to take my daughters temperature it would start and stop before I was ready so I think all of the readings were inaccurate. I got frustrated after a couple of attempts. I think it has great potential but seems too inaccurate right now. I received this product complimentary for testing purposes.

Handy, but needs work. I love that this app can store past temps for different family members. We have only used it orally and under arm, but it took too long to get an accurate reading on my busy 2 and 4 year olds. If the time it took to take the temps was quicker I would have given this 5 stars!

Great with kids. I love everything about my thermometer and this app. I got the thermometer to try for free through Influenster. So glad I did. I'm able to keep track of both of my daughters temps on an hourly basis without writing down anything. Love love love.

Great product/app. I received this product free for testing purposes and all opinions are my own. The thermometer itself is easy to use. It has nice design that isn't bulky. As for the app, I love that I can input all of my family's info into it. It keeps track of the temp, syptoms, when they had their medicine and when they should get it next. It really is a great thing to have if you have multiple people that are under the weather. As a mom of 3 I definitely recommend this product!

Great app and thermometer. The app is so easy to use. My son normally doesn't care to have his temperature taken with a standard thermometer, but with this one he gets a kick out of watching his temperature display on the app. I love that multiple members of the family can be included. I've made the thermometer (and app) my go-to gift for my expecting friends.

Love the features!. I love the Vicks SmartTemp thermometer and app! You can set a different profile for each member in your family and keep notes like medications used and the time they took it. Which is great for this momma of 3. To get the actual temp is pretty fast and the thermometer lights up green or red depending on the temp. I received this free for review and testing purposes.

It doesn’t work. I bought this thermometer because it seemed like a good idea to be able to track your fever when you or your child have fever. I really disappointed because it wouldn’t work for me. I download the app, then tried to add the device. It won’t connect with the Bluetooth on the app. It won’t register on your phone under Bluetooth Devices, so the only way to connect is through the app. After trying for at least 15 minutes I gave up and I’m going to return it later today. Such a waste of time and money.

Such a great product to monitor family temps. I'm a first time mom and the one thing I was told most often was to make sure I have a reliable thermometer for my family. I love how easy to use the thermometer and app are. I can measure our temperatures and keep track of everyone in our family. This is such a great idea and makes it very useful when I can show the Doctor the data. I highly recommend!

Love love LOVE. I got the thermometer for free from influencer and my daughter ended up getting fever within a week of receiving it, I loved the tracking option, so I could watch her temp, and remember what time I took it and what time I administered meds. Another cool feature was to be able to have a profile for each family member! Thank you influenster and Vicks! I've been tellin all my mommy friends about you ;)

Great product. I have received this product for free from Influenster for testing purposes. It came right on time for the cold and flu season. The Vicks Thermometer works so well on my 2 little ones and it's so easy to use. You can take it on the go!

Good Tool. I received a Vicks Smart Temp Thermometer free for testing purposes. As a mom, I love that this app stores temperature data, including when and how I took the temp. The oral reading is tricky, any movement makes it hard to get an accurate reading. And the data does not sync to multiple devices - so if my husband wants to use the thermometer, he also needs the app and the data is not available to me. It’s easy to use, easy to set up profiles for each family member. The ability to share data or have it store within an account would make it a 5 star app.

Love!. I received the product for testing purposes from influenster. I am a mother of two children and if your like me, when both your children get sick at the same time you are constantly checking temperatures and writing them down on paper. Well now you don't have too. When using this product you can take child A's temperature and place it in their profile. Then you can take child B's temperature and do the same. This thermometer is a life saver!!!! I highly recommend!

Ruthie. It worked great until I updated iphone. Now I have to turn blue tooth off and back on again to get it to connect. App support link takes you to website very difficult to navigate. Still haven't been able to find app support on that site. I love my thermometer but it is frustrating since update.

Best thermometer I have ever used!. I got this thermometer free in the mail to test, and I am so happy I got it! I had never heard of this before and was excited to try it. It is the quickest read of temp I've ever seen and keeps a history of each persons temp readings and I love that I can have separate profiles for each of my kids. I've already recommended this product to so many of my friends and family.

Awesome for busy moms. I received this product for free to give my honest opinion. I Absolutly love this thermometer. I am able to keep track of my 3 toddlers temperature when they get sick and can get notified when to give the next dose of medicine. This is very handy when you go to a sick doctors appointment and they ask what how long your child us been sick and symptoms and temperatures. I love this little device so much! It really has made things a lot simpler for me as a busy mom who works from home goes to school full time and cares for 3 children under 4 years old.

Love this! Very accurate. I absolutely love this thermometer...I went to drug store to get my sick daughter some Motrin for a fever...my thermometer is old and outdated so looked at this contemplated on it. And the price is not bad at all considering all it does...I read the reviews and they are mixed reviews so I decided to write a good one because you really should get this it hooked right up to my iPhone and keeps track of all fevers it's just something you should consider if you need to get a thermometer

Great app. I love this thermometer and app! They sync up great and can even sync without the app being on and it still records it. I am able to separate temps on family members and it tracks time and temp which helps when administering meds and keeping track of when you took temp. So handy!. I love all of the options I have with this thermometer. One tool can do oral, axillary and rectal temps, eliminating the need for multiple thermometers. It can also track temps over time and record when medication was given to help track frequency of dosing. Easy to use and with so many extras, the app and thermometer together are a dynamic duo. I love how quickly it produces a reading and the colt coding to help tired, frazzled parents translate what the number means in terms of fever severity. This tool provides important data regarding fevers, all automatically recorded and easily accessed n case of need for reference, which is really handy for a long-term illness and any reporting one may need to do to a physician.

Best thermometer for your young ones. I was very excited to receive this thermometer from Influenster for testing purposes. I am a very busy mom of a 5 and 3 year old boys who hate their temperature to be takin but love to play with my iPhone. So when I combined to good with the bad the results were amazing. I linked the thermometer up with the Bluetooth on my phone after I download the Vicks SmartTemp App and the boys had fun watching their temperature rise on the app. It reads quite quickly and is very accurate. This app also keeps track of all the boys readings in their own personal profile. Couldn't ask for a better way to stay organized when we live such a busy lifestyle. And now that my oldest just stared kindergarten it seems like he is catching everything under the sun so when he's feeling a little under the weather we grab our new Vicks thermometer to find out if we need to take a dose of Tylenol.

A very great app and thermometer. I received this thermometer free for testing purposes from Influenster. The app is a very useful app and it actually makes me relieved that I can track temperatures and not have to remember what the highest temp that was taken. It is extremely easy to use and/or figure out. I love that there are multiple profiles so that you can remember the whole family's temperatures. I am a mommy and this definitely helps me during the most stressful times which are sick times. With this app I can easily answer the doctors/nurses question easily and accurately about my families symptoms and temperatures. I like when you take a temperature it tell you how severe it is based on the child's age.

Awesome. This works perfectly with the thermometer easy to use and easy to pair I will definitely recommend. Also your able to have up to 4 profiles. And it tracks all 4.

Waste your time and money. At the beginning you might think this is a nice idea to track everything in your phone, but it turned out to be a terrible idea. How ridiculous is that a thermometer has to connect to a Bluetooth in your cellphone then will be able to use??? And I followed all the instructions and turned my phone and Bluetooth everything on and off for half an hour, this stupid thermometer still didn’t work!! So please don’t waste your money and time on this thing!

Great app and thermometer. I wanted to off set the poor reviews with my actual experience. The thermometer and the app interface appear to be accurate and working well for me. The person who wrote that values can't be entered manually didn't read the very easy to understand FAQ section that explains how to do this or maybe it wasn't available at the time of their review. The only thing missing from the app right now is the manual. I was hoping it was actually there under the heading "Manual" so that I didn't have to keep the small paper foldout that came with the thermometer. Hopefully, this will be added soon in an update. Setup was finished in about 1 minute. The app even shows how much battery life is left. My battery life shows 82% even though I just purchased this. The thermometer didn't come with one of those plastic strips - that you remove upon first use - that would decrease battery drain before use. I gave this app and thermometer 5 stars because it does what it says it's suppose to and appears to do this accurately.

Great app, few glitches. I've been using this thermometer and app for several months now. I received it from Influenster for testing purposes and it has been a useful addition to my medicine cabinet. The app works pretty well, doesn't crash, and is easy to manually enter anything you need. It keeps a great record. It does struggle with communicating with the thermometer from time to time which is why I can't give it 5 stars. Since the corresponding thermometer doesn't display anything, this can get frustrating when you're taking your kid's temperature multiple times. I love that you can enter in medicine dosages and you have a clear record of everything so you can reference it as needed. Overall, a great app!

Great concept but thermometer wasn't accurate. I was excited when I received this thermometer. I got it for free to review. I loved the app and cordless functionality of the thermometer, as I have another thermometer that's iPhone compatible, but requires a cord. Unfortunately, I found this thermometer wasn't accurate. I tried it on my toddler when sick, and myself to determine it's validity. Compared to the other thermometers in the house, it was a few degrees less every time. I'm hopeful that the thermometer I received was malfunctioning, and that it's not a representation of the majority of these thermometers. I've had other Vicks thermometers in the past and have always been pleased. This one just didn't cut it.

Good, except for one thing.... I would love this if it reliably connected to Bluetooth... it took me a long time to realize that in order for the thermometer to connect, I have to TURN OFF Bluetooth in my iPhone settings first—and then turn it back on—BEFORE turning on the thermometer. If you don’t do that, the thermometer never connects. Other than that glitch, it’s perfect.

Easy & so helpful for a family of 5!. We love this app. It allows us to have a profile for everyone in our family, and it keeps a record of our temps for our convenience. The thermometer itself is very good, accurate and very quick at getting a reading! We really needed a good & simple to use thermometer and this is a great one!

Love the concept, but.... This is GREAT concept, I love the profiles and the temp tracking, but it has major flaws when it comes to kids. It is inaccurate! Maybe it was just my son but we had to attempt for the thermometer to work several times and I finally just gave up and used the temporal thermometer we own.

Super easy and intuitive!. I was so impressed with this app. It is super easy to use and navigate around. I love that you can get history on when the last fever was and the trend with it. I also like that I can log medications and symptoms. Love it.

Easy and and handy. It was a great way to store temperatures during her week long virus. When we visited the doctor, I had a record of her temps on my iPhone. I will use it again!

It’s ok when I use it. So I got this for free from Influenster for my honest opinion. It’s a good thermometer. However it will not work unless it’s synced with your iPhone. So if you’re doing something, or don’t have your phone for some reason you have to get it. Seemed liked an added step. I do like that keeps a history of temperatures which is nice to be able to track when your kid is sick. But I usually end up grabbing another one cause of the extra step.

Wonderful!!! LOVE IT ❤️. I absolutely love this thermometer! I've had it for a couple of months after receiving it for free to review and it's the only one I use! This app keeps track of my whole family's temperatures and makes it super easy to relay information to the doctor when we get sick! This will be my go-to until it no longer works, but then I'm sure I will go out and buy another one!

It works still.. I found this thermometer in a clearance bin at tj max a few years ago and it have served my family well. I don’t use it for anything else but taking temperature, it would be nice if we could get a update on the app so it doesn’t become useless at some point.

Amazing. I love this thermometer out of ALL(which I have like 10) thermometers this one is the one I go for. It truly blew me out of the water! I'm not sure if there are other apps and thermometers out there like this but I would say Vicks innovative! The app is easy and so awesome!!!!!!! Great app. I’ve been using the app for 2 days since my son developed a fever. It tracks the individual which is great if you have more than one child, tracks symptoms and medications administered. Also you can set reminders for meds or temp checks. I’m really liking this app!

Great For Health Tracking. I'm a gadget girl and love that this thermometer seamlessly connects with my phone. My youngest used to get chronic ear infections and I was always talk her temperature. Trying to chart it was difficult but this takes all the work out of it! And I love how I can set up multiple profiles!

Super convenient!. I received this thermometer to try out and I absolutely love it! I have used it under arm and Orlando on both of my children and I can confidently say that it's accurate and efficient. It's very convenient to stick the thermometer in my diaper bag and I always have my phone with me! All I do is open up the app, switch over to my specific child or family members profile, take the temperature and then it's logged! I really love that it logs each thermometer reading so that I can go back and reference! Any parent knows that it's helpful to be able to gauge a variety of temperatures when your child gets sick. I have tried this thermometer and compared it with my other thermometers and really believe that it's very accurate! I feel like the thermometer is a good price and I love that the app is free. The only downside is that if you switch phones you have to reset up all the profiles and you lose old information. Not a huge deal though! You can export them though if it's really important that you keep all of that health data for some reason. That said you can also set reminders so if you need to give Tylenol or other medication to your child or family member it will set and an alert! You can create profiles for temperature for specific members or take temperature without a profile, too. That said, although I was slightly reluctant when I got it about how accurate it would be or how much I would like it I really am impressed with this thermometer and the Vicks app!

Nowhere it says how much this costs. I downloaded the app and it charged my account $21!!!! Heck no! Filing a dispute with my bank ASAP!

Terrible product. Good idea. Purchased thermometer then down loaded the app. Bad on/off switch design. Will not stay paired with my iphone. Threw away packaging. Couldn’t return thermometer ...threw away thermometer !!!

Not accurate!. Just bought a thermometer, nobody in my house is sick so we just wanted to check how it works. But the thermometer showed 100-104(!) for anybody in my house, we tried oral and under arm. So its pretty cool idea but it simply doesn't work correctly. And the package for thermometer is made so you cant return it, you cant take it out of box without destroying it.

Must have Bluetooth thermometer. I didn’t know that I had to purchase a Bluetooth thermometer in order to use the app. You also must consent to sharing the data with KAZ. No thanks.

Haven't updated in a year. The competitors are leveraging items like oxygen blood levels, blood pressure, automatic sleep tracking including beats per minute… This app has had one upgrade in a year and a half Somebody could tell me where this thing is going that will make it more than just a thermometer on the thermometer app that would be great

Tech meets temp. We love this hand tech thermometer. The features are so nice. Works like a charm.

Force closes. This is a great concept to keep track of your temps online. I have to record my morning temps on a daily basis, but I cannot even open up the app. It keeps force closing. Please fix the bugs so I can use the thermometer (it doesn’t tell you on the actual thermometer you have to see it on the app)

Awesome!. I love that this thermometer has an app! How convenient! The most amazing part, is that it has multiple profiles. This is perfect for my family of four. So often with young children I was taking temperatures and documenting during teething, and flu season. Now, I have an easy and modern way to keep track of all of the information! Works okay. Works okay but it would be better if it could sync with my health app that came with my iPhone.

Not accurate at all. I thought this was awesome until it was ready to use. My daughter woke up burning up so I decided to give the new thermometer a try. It gave me multiple different readings. None of which were accurate. Sometimes the old way is best. Thermometer is a waste of your money do not buy it.

STUPID. There’s no point in this! Readings are inaccurate and all over the place. App won’t connect to thermometer on my phone, only husbands. Button is terribly difficult to hold down. HORRIBLE!!!

Is this app no longer supported?. This does not seem to synch up with apple health anymore and even the size of the canvas in the does not match the latest apple devices. Is this app dead? It is a shame cause the smart thermometer is fairly nice.
