Keyboard no longer works. Worked fine for about a year but recently, the keys Board stopped connecting to the iPad and when I open the app, the app force closes. I don’t know if it’s the keyboard or the app that is causing this issue. My keyboard is still is very good condition so I would like to guess it’s the app but because the app force closes, I cannot say for sure. I am very bummed about this.

Does all I needed it to do. My Slim Folio wasn’t working well with the new global iOS 15 shortcuts. Decided to look for a way to update the keyboard firmware, found this app, updated the firmware, and so far my keyboard is feeling much improved and the global shortcuts now work properly.

Keyboard freezes. I purchased the Logitech folio for iPad Air 4th and the keyboard freezes a lot. This can be the just the trackpad or just the keyboard or both. This can be really frustrating when you are in the middle of something. Also not sure if the app is truly working. I never had an update since the purchase and I’ve had this for also a year. All It says that the software is up to date. Has there been any updates since last year? Maybe this can help the keyboard from freezing up so much. Thanks.

Simple Functionality. Seems to do exactly what it is suppose to do; check for firmware updates and offers to install them. Will alert you to new updates if you give it permission.

THIS APP KEEPS CRASHING. This app thats supposed to update your keyboard is really trash and keeps crashing. It keeps closing out the app when I try to update my keyboard and you need to fix this app because I’m trying to use my keyboard for something and it’s not working also fix all of this because I see a lot of negative reviews and I am one of them.

Firmware Updater for Logitech input devices. The reason there are so many negative reviews is this: Most people are ignorant. This goes for life in general, not just in the App Store. This is not a weak insult, just a fact: People for the most part just don’t think. The negative reviews here confirm this. This is a firmware updater for compatible Logitech input devices. For some reason, the vast majority of users here believe this is a place to review their actual Logitech keyboards and mice and trackballs. To these bastions of intelligence: This is an app that checks to see if your Logitech product’s firmware is up-to-date. If it isn’t, it downloads the appropriate new firmware, and installs it into the circuitry of your hardware. And this is all without having to lift a finger. This will in theory address any incompatibilities with current iOS upgrades that may have been unforeseen. Placing negative reviews here for whatever annoys you about your keyboard is like posting a bad review for your library about how awful a book was.

iPadOS 14.5 breaks Logitech Folio. The Logitech Folio loses a lot of functionality with iPadOS 14.5. Logitech and Apple, please work to get this problem solved! With Scribd, the keyboard seems to go to sleep and various workarounds are needed to get it working again; I’ve found that turning the pages more frequently (even if just to next then immediately back again) to keep the connection alive is a workaround. Hoopla is much worse: neither trackpad nor arrow keys will turn the pages, and tapping on the trackpad doesn’t zoom into graphic novels as it should. Basically, in Hoopla, Logitech is non-functional, and any interaction with the app requires finger on screen.

Works fine, but backlit up key ‘stuck’. Really like the case and the keyboard, but noticed that my key to increase the keyboard backlight goes to step 2 and then stops, so basically I have no backlit keyboard. All other keys work fine, but not this one which is frustrating as I see it as one of the major functions of this keyboard. Not sure if iOS is causing this or the Logitech firmware, but a fix would certainly be appreciated. Using an iPad Pro M1 12.9

Connection Issue. I have love the Combo Touch Keyboard for my 7th Generation iPad without a problem. Until I updated the firmware, my keyboard isn’t functioning properly after disconnection the magnetic keyboard and reconnect to continue typing, still doesn’t work. This doesn’t require Bluetooth connection. Only need to attach the keyboard to the iPad. What is the issue with this app? I deleted this app and download this to check if my keyboard will function better, still not working properly.

Combo Touch Case Malfunction. Similar to all the reviews here, about two weeks ago my combo touch key board completely stopped working. Every time I opened the control app, it would instantly crash leaving the key board completely useless. I contacted LogiTech about the issue and mentioned many users are experiencing the same issue. After going back and forth with trouble shooting steps the decided to issue me a new key board as I’m under warranty. I really did not think this would help since the logi tech app was useless leaving the key board useless. My replacement key board just arrived and this one is working. I have not opened up the logi tech control app and I am reluctant to do so as I am afraid it’ll ruin the replacement key board. I did contact them to see if I should wait until the app has been fixed before ever opening it up again so I will update my review once I hear an answer. I suggest if any of you are looking to solve the keyboard, contact logi tech for a replacement, save yourself the time from the trouble shooting steps because none of them worked for me. Overall, this was a frustrating experience but I will say Logitech support did work seamlessly with me to resolve this. 5 stars to Logitech support but the one star on this review is reflected to the app and developers for not fixing it.

App suddenly stopped working. It was working perfectly fine, no issues with the keyboard or anything, but literally just today the keyboard stopped working entirely. no backlight, no input, nothing. all out of nowhere. i tried to go into the app to fix it, but as soon as it shows the connection screen, it crashes. I did not pay for this faulty garbage.

Perhaps Not Logi's Fault. I used their keyboard/trackpad accessory with a 7th gen iPad, and with iOS 13 it worked great. iOS 14 was glitchy but I could usually make the keyboard work properly if I force restarted the iPad or removed and added the keyboard repeatedly Now with iOS15 the keyboard only works with Apple's apps, and then it isn't always 100%. If I could leave a review to Apple for their latest version of Baby's First Tablet/Phone OS I would do so. I can only hope their ears are burning with all of the unkind comments I'm happy to share with all and sundry about the 'joys' of trying to use this iPad with anything that isn't made by Apple. While the comments about this app are true about it not doing anything other than downloading the firmware, it does that well enough.

Doesn’t work with Rugged Combo Case & support clueless. Sooooo, I work at a school and am trying to 1) Find out what the current firmware is for the Logitech Rugged Combo 3 case and 2) update the firmware if necessary. I tried to chat with logitech multiple times—they never actually responded. I called. I asked support what the current firmware is for this logitech rugged case—long story short—they don’t know (and it’s not posted anywhere on Logitech’s website). They said use the app. I download the app on some school devices. It doesn’t get past the ‘connect your case’ screen. It’s connected. I took the iPad out, put it back in. It’s connected. Nothing. Stuck on the opening screen. Did I mention that no one at Logitech can tell us the current firmware number of their device!? So, I’ve gathered that Logitech is either 1) Run by robots or 2) Run by 3 people in the back of a van down by the river. Which, if either is true, is actually pretty impressive. Look at what they have built! Sigh.

Pretty good hardware lame software. Expected this app to do more than just check the firmware. For instance it looks like the ability to change up the pointer has been disabled in ios so I hoped I could use this to change that. It’s constantly one size and won’t hide even when watching video in full screen. Addressing this would have been enough for a positive rating let alone all the other things this app could do if devs were giving the free range to make something more useful.

Update does not work. Very frustrating that this app to update firmware does not actually work. Have been waiting a long time for an update, which is specifically mentioned in this app description (fixing an issue with the slim combo keyboard for iPad Pro 12.9). Previously I loved the Logitech keyboard but after an IOS update certain keys stopped working. Have been waiting a long time for Logitech to fix this, and this says it addresses it, but the firmware update does not actually work, it says it has completed but the firmware is not updated. I have wasted so much time reloading and installing this over and over again. Prior to this I was a big fan of Logitech but am now wary of spending money on products that you realize that can be turned into a useless brick by a software update. Really disappointed that Logitech don’t stay on top of this and keep updating the firmware to make the products work. When I contacted Logitech they basically had zero interest, and said once it’s beyond the 1yr warranty it’s not their problem to fix anything.

I like it!. I bought a new iPad Pro. Then, I bought the Apple Magic Keyboard. Great if you use it as a desktop unit, but try reading it as a book while lying down, or using the Apple Pencil with it. I traded it in for the Logitech keyboard and case. Much better. I wish it had better instructions, such as what does the ‘World’ icon do? And the ‘Option’ icon? Not everyone is a 4th grader with computing skills.

Working Fine. The keyboard has been working fine and haven’t had any errors since I got the workaround fix for the trackpad and app the first time I use it.

Sometimes the cursor just doesn’t work.. There is this big annoying bug where I’m scrolling with my combo touch keyboard and the mousepad just stops working. I have to click on something to type and then the mousepad will work again. It’s really annoying cause sometimes it only happens once a day and then there are times when it happens 7 times an hour. Will change my rating when this is updated and fix.

Suggestions for improvement. I have been using this the folio case/keyboard on my iPad Pro for almost two years now. I love the way the case looks and feels. It is very slim and efficient and stylish in my opinion. The keyboard is responsive and has a lot of useful shortcuts. The only downsides are very minor. In my opinion the speed at which you can backspace is very limited and slow. Normally on a computer when you are holding down the backspace key the rate at which text is deleted increases the longer you hold the button. This is not the case with this keyboard. Maybe there is a setting that I have missed (I sure hope this is the case!), but I wish there were a setting that would allow me to choose if I could increase how fast text is deleted when using the backspace. The other thing is that sometimes the cursor freezes and sometimes the keyboard itself freezes. I have found that I have to lock my iPad and open it again for it to work. I can also hit the space bar to unfreeze the cursor. Hopefully something can be done to fix these two concerns. In all honesty, I love this case/keyboard and I am very happy with the design and versatility of the case. It is a very intelligently designed product and I am very happy with my purchase.

Reported, No Fix. Keyboard suddenly stopped working. Attempted every troubleshooting step recommendation from Logitech, nothing worked. Submitted a support request. They had me *repeat* every troubleshooting step again. Nothing worked. App keeps crashing. The keyboard is useless. It has been TWO MONTHS.

Trackpad/cursor issues? FIX INSTRUCTIONS. If your cursor keeps disappearing, open app. On the picture of keyboard on the app’s screen, hit Q W E OPTION (yes on the picture) and then tap the greyed out “up to date” button, and at the bottom you should see “unlocking firmware”. If you’ve done this correctly, an update should pop up. This app is only for updating, it doesn’t do anything other than that. It’s unintuitive and impossible to figure out unless you’re lucky with a google search. For tap to right click, you want to go to your ipad settings -> general -> below keyboard option you should see a trackpad option. Instructions woefully unclear, stuck in ceiling fan and what not

Some Functions Don’t Work. I am on iPadOS 15 on an iPad Air 3. This app works well with updating firmware (I suppose that’s what it is supposed to do), but in every tutorial and video I see about this product, it has the option to change the duration of the keyboard backlight. There is no such option anymore. In addition, I can’t click with two fingers when Tap to Click is disabled. Can this be fixed in a firmware update?

Can’t download the update. I just got the case today and was prompted to download the app. In doing so, it gave me another prompt for the update after opening the app. I tried 3 times and still can’t download the update. I had it connected and on the table with no other thing inferring with it. It’s also a brand new iPad with plenty of memory.

Never buying products brand again…. Feel like a waste of money buying a con artist product. Scam product. Lacks quality and efficiency…. Don’t waste your hard earned money on any of these company’s products …. No update available…tech support chat is just a waste time …. Never told me how to reactivate my keyboard. Followed every tech support direction multiple times. Still nothing. Products are meant to fail just after the 1 year warranty (lol) expires of course…. Joke is on the purchaser so that company tricks purchaser into buying another one…. Fool me once shame on them, Logi Tech… fool no twice… shame on me ( not happening again )…. Logitech is unwilling to support their keyboards.. There has been a recurring issue among owners of the Logitech combo touch keyboard for iPad. At times, the trackpad will become totally unusable and irresponsible. To reset this you have to hit the space key on the keyboard. This sounds like a minor issue, but if you have any hopes of using the trackpad on this keyboard it will quickly drive you insane. This app advertises “firmware updates” but logitech to this day has not shipped any firmware fixing this bug despite its widespread prevalence by other users. It has now been multiple years and and yet there is no fix on the horizon. Do not buy logitech hardware expecting software updates to fix current problems. TLDR: Logitech software is garbage and they are apathetic to their buyers. Just pony up the extra money to buy the first party Apple Magic Keyboard for the iPad instead.

Not compatible with 9th gen IOS 15.4.1. I really shouldn’t have to write a lousy review because your app isn’t updated to work with the latest gen of iPad hardware/software, yet here I am. I’ve tried this multiple ways, but no matter what, when the app launches and tried to update the firmware, I get an error “this accessory is not supported.” You guys need to fix support for 9th gen iPad using IOS 15.4.1!

The app doesn’t recognize my Combo Touch with my iPad 9. I’ve tried to no avail to get the app to function, but it doesn’t recognize my Combo a touch on my iPad 9th generation running iPad OS 15.7. Not to mention the keyboard hasn’t been acting up and because I can’t use this app, I can’t even use the keyboard. Please update the app so the keyboard can be properly updated.

Firmware Update Process - Keyboard not working. There is an issue pertaining to the software. It keeps asking to update the firmware and once it’s updated, the update doesn’t seem to kick in. I wanted to update it because the keyboard stopped working a couple weeks ago for no reason, even though the keyboard case hasn’t experienced any falls, or bumps, or any kind of damage. And judging by all the other recent reviews here, I’m not the only one. Logitech - this is a clear pattern of a recent development that has happened to a lot of people who suddenly see their iPad keyboards not working all of a sudden and without reason. Mine isn’t an isolated issue. Fix this. These are great but expensive cases. We expect a firmware update.

Yes, it’s just a firmware updater. Does what it’s supposed to do!. The app simply checks for the current version of the keyboard firmware. It will also alert you of an update, if you give it permission. Yes, that’s it! So, it checked my new keyboard, and found it up to date. I gave it permission to alert me if there is a future update. This is a GOOD thing. I know of no other keyboards that have this ability, especially the various Bluetooth keyboards on the market. Pay no attention to poor reviews because it doesn’t do anything else - that is what Apple’s keyboard and touchpad settings are for in your Settings, so it really doesn’t need to do anything else!

M1 iPad Pro 11”. Downloaded this app to increase the function of my new combo touch, but the app crashes on launch. The keyboard itself is amazing. The app, however, is not. Waiting for an update to fix this. I need to tweak some settings, but cannot. I’ll gladly change this to a higher star rating if the app would open to allow usage. After repeatedly deleting and downloading the app, it seems to work and states my keyboard is up to date.

physically very nice but no way to adjust settings. No complaints about the keyboard itself but doesn’t seen to have any settings to adjust. I guess that would be ok if it didn’t randomly change how it acts. sometimes it capitolizes for you, sometimes it doesn’t. the caps lock quit working on the keyboard but it works on the ipad keyboard. it’s an expensive keyboard and it is totally impossible to communicate with. I will not buy anything from logitec again and am sorry to be stuck with this.

Turn on Bluetooth to allow Logitech Control to connect to accessories. since updating, i get this message at least two or three times a day. when i open the app to see if there are options i can change, it returns the instant it's dismissed. in System Settings, Bluetooth is disabled. and Bluetooth is turned off entirely on my iPad. my device is a ComboTouch, which doesn't even USE Bluetooth. not even sure i need the app at all.

What is the point?. I am not sure what the point of the app is. I just got the keyboard yesterday so I downloaded the app but it doesn’t control anything. Literally a screen that asks if you want notifications about firmware updates that tells you if you are up to date. That’s is. I mean, great, the firmware is up to date…..but otherwise it just takes up space. I have read other similar reviews, citing it is related to recent iOS updates….but man…for the price of the keyboard I was expecting more.

App is Broken. My keyboard works fine(when it wants to), but when I downloaded the app to check for a firmware update, the app fails to recognize the attached keyboard(which has been explicitly mentioned in the compatibility section in the App Store and on the Logitech webpage). Thus, the app remains on the same “Connect your supported Logitech keyboard/Bluetooth enablement screen”. I wish I could give it zero stars, but that’s not the way the world works. Additionally, the keyboard has a trackpad issue, where it will “lose” the cursor. It’s great. Planning to contact Logitech in the morning.

is this real life?. echoing other comments - app does literally nothing beyond firmware updates. literally. i am so confused. maybe its a function of recent updates to ipad OS which will be fixed eventually (i see another review suggesting it was a recent update that broke the logitech customization options) - but, logitech - i was clicking around the screen trying to find the secret spot that would actually make the app do something for a beat before coming here.... can you not even be bothered to add a notice to the app explaining as much?

Haven’t been able to use it so… It’s useless.. Downloaded the app to try and see if this app could help me customize some keybinds for the extra key caps on my Logitech Pop Keys keyboard. Turns out, the Logitech app can’t even recognize its own keyboard while it’s paired. I can even use functionalities to prove that it’s paired, such as the voice-to-text button, while the app insists that I need to pair the keyboard to the iPad to move on. Pretty embarrassing for the software.

paperweight device after update 14.6. My keyboard isn't working properly. I’ve already updated the app and your iOS version 14.6, and followed Logitech's cleaning instructions, Im not sure if its a hardware issue. The trackpad isn’t working as well. My productivity is important, and having a functional keyboard is crucial for work. Im disappointed in the device since its worked well in the past.

Should not bail on the user if they are not already paired. Should be more polite, because they may have pairing issues and not be an expert at resolving them (I’m a computer scientist, not an expert at every product).

The hardwired keyboard less reliable than bluetooth. By using such poor quality connectors (two in series for the Combo-Touch) Logitech has managed to make this keyboard worse than bluetooth after only a few months of use.

doo doo water. i got a logitech combo touch keyboard case for my ipad 8th gen, the packet inside told me to go to a website, the website led me to this app, and the app doesn’t recognize my keyboard at all. just says ‘connect your supported logitech keyboard’ BUT the keyboard doesn’t need this app for anything but firmware updates, and the keyboard already works great, so the app is entirely useless. just would expect to have a working app to accompany my $130 keyboard case

Faulty Operation. I have noticed several bugs with the logi keyboards. The most annoying being the loss of spacebar functionality. I think a new firmware update would fix this. There have been 3 or 4 major patches in IOS since the last logi update. Great hardware, but whats the point if the firmware is broken?

Didn’t work past 2years. App and keyboard was working, just fine until it just shut down completely and only works when the iPad is flat on a surface. When I open the app it says “connect your supported logitech keyboard” and it obviously is connected. It also says something about Bluetooth which makes no sense because this device supposedly doesn’t use Bluetooth. the app offers no solutions. If you read the other reviews, this seems to be happening to everybody who purchases this product, and they give no solutions.

useless app from Logitech. The Combo Touch keyboard is a very good product, aside from the fact that a few keys do not type the correct item (instead of a quotation mark I get this « ). But this app offers nothing but a button to toggle on if I want to know when there is a firmware update. Deleted. I was able to re-program another key to correct it, but I have not found a way to do this for the quotation key, which i would use regularly.

It was good until the most recent update.. I have the iPad Pro 11 inch M1. I bought the case with the detachable keyboard, was working fine, the pad was working normal no issue. Until today, I updated the firmware on the app everything was working fine until I updated. The keys are working perfectly fine as am typing this down, but the mouse pad has stopped working completely. Before the update the mouse was working perfectly no issue. Now I can’t use the mouse pad. Really disappointed.

Huge disappointment - Combo touch for iPad. This is the worst experience i had! It took me already few hours to figure out how to make it work and its not over yet…reading reviews and it seems that people have similar issues, really strange. It was really a very bad deal expensive and not worth it. Apple products also expensive but simple and easy to use.

Worked great for a day then crashed. Worked for less than a day with iPad Air 5th generation but then after I disconnected keyboard once it never registered it as connecting again even after troubleshooting … so disappointed.

App won’t open and my keyboard does not work at all. I downloaded the app and it keeps on crashing, deleted and then reinstalled and same thing. The app won’t stay open for more than 5 seconds. Currently none of the keys work nor does the trackpad, and there is no where to put in batteries or charge the case because it is supposedly a wireless case

App isn’t clear what it does. I know this app is for updating firmware only, but unless you know this, you won’t understand what the app is for. The keyboard loses connection with the iPad a few times an hour while being use on a stationary table. Overall the keyboard is fine, but software/connection are poor. I would not buy again if it were to die or I upgrade to a different iPad.

Doesn’t Work. I updated my iPad months ago and my keyboard hasn’t worked since. You can’t force start the firmware when your keyboard doesn’t work and it doesn’t pop up when I open the app. I won’t be buying another Logitech keyboard. It’s been months with no resolution. I do suggest that the company do an update and add in a touch force start to the firmware. I will say when my keyboard worked I loved it.

No scrolling on wake-up. I’ve had this keyboard about a week. I purchased it instead of the Apple board because it was a nice design and feel, a little cheaper and I had used the previous model on another iPad for some years and found it functionally good even though the case did start to delaminate badly towards the end. This board is an attractive design and seems like the case would last better. There is however a major functional problem. On wake-up from the lock screen the scrolling function of the keypad fails to work. Cleaning the contacts and checking the seating does not help. The only way I’ve found to reactivate scrolling is to shut down and restart the iPad. Very unsatisfactory and I hope is not a prelude to further glitches. Logitech seems entirely silent on the problem. Don’t know if firmware can fix this and other reported faults. This might just be a poorly made dud keyboard which is surprising considering the usual quality and reliability of previous Logitech boards.

Key pad isnt working……. Bought this in August 2021 for my iPad Pro 11inch…. Worked fine for a while but now the space bar randomly works SOME of the time….the left right up and down keys don’t work and I keep finding other issues……contacted the help line and after about a week I finally get a response asking me to do all sorts of things…I get it that they would be fault finding but…..they so me to try some sequence of QWE and the globe key to force an update and I gave up holding the keys down after 5 m8nutes with nothing happening….. this is NOT the first Logitech keyboard cover I have had for different iPads but they have all been great with this one exceptional difference……NOT HAPPY…

Why doesn’t it work. When i first purchased this keyboard, it was working amazingly and had no regret of buying this product. i downloaded the Logitech app as it was recommended. When i went in, i had to update the keyboard, this update took a very long amount of time, and unfortunately my iPad turned off during the update. I quickly turned my iPad back on and went straight back to the Logitech app, I realised that the trackpad didn’t WORK! But before i updated it, the keyboard was great. HOW DO I FIX THIS!!! I want to fix this as soon as possible, as i need to use my iPad as one of my tools for studying. Please reply.

Keyboard. I have the folio touch that’s compatible with my iPad Air 4th gen and one day the keyboard just stopped working. I tried everything in the website to updating my iPad, cleaning the connection area. It only worked on flat areas and now it doesn’t work at all. The keyboard may need an update but my keyboard isn’t even connecting to the app so how am I suppose to see if there’s an update.

UPdate your dumb app. I bought the combo touch for iPad pro 11inch and the trackpad is appalling. In files it doesn’t show the bar that goes between the words. Which is all available in the apple magic keyboard. SO LIKE UPDATE YOU DUMB APPP. I reported this on the website but i didn’t get no reply. SO IM GONNa sue. JK

Doesn’t work at all and service is woeful. I have just received my new Combo Touch for my 2021 IPad Pro. I immediately downloaded this app. Every time I try to open it, I just get a plain grey screen. Okay, so what do you do? You try to contact the elusive Logitech support via their website. First you “speak” to a moronic robot. Then I was directed to a support website. I received a docket number and was invited to reply. I did so by return email only to be advised by email that that support email number is no longer available and I was directed back to the robot. Does Logitech employ any human beings? For goodness sake please show me how to get my problem fixed.

The app doesn’t work.. All you get is a static picture and a message saying the keyboard is updated. I cannot make any changes to the settings.

Trackpad is not working. So i saw i needed an update on the app so I downloaded it and guess what? The trackpad stopped working. Logi tech please do something about this issue it is really not pleasing to deal with

Keyboard faulty. Expensive Logitech keyboard works intermittently with space bar failing and having to use the iPad Pro12.9 device keyboard. Rebooting the iPad sometimes works for a short time until multiple faults recurring. The App is only to check for software updates but there is never an update particularly an update to fix the keyboard.

Works beautifully!. Put the iPad in, it asked for the app to be installed - boom! Perfect. I did wonder about the settings, but they are in General/Keyboard or General/Trackpad. This is an amazing piece of kit that I wish I’d have bought much, much sooner. Wonderful to type with too!

Combo keyboard not working ,don’t buy,no support available. Not happy with combo keyboard, purchased from apple website with iPad. Waste of money and time. Keys intermittently not working?. I really like the whole design, but there is a lot of intermittency in the glitchiness of the keyboard. Sometimes it requires a really hard press, the globe key has stopped working and the only way to get it to work again is reseating the ipad on the keyboard. And the space bar requires at times a double tap for it to register. Not sure if it’s the keyboard itself as its only three months old, suggestive to me that there’s a lot more work to be done on the firmware.

Trackpad. Hi I purchased the Folio touch for my iPad Air gen 4 when I fish connect the case the mouse was working then it did the update with the app that it asked me to install and now the trackpad isn’t working please help as I really need this to work asap.

using combo touch for ipad air gen3. as delivered it kept locking up and it was almost unusable. An update to ios 14.0 made it better and then a firmware update to the keyboard fixed it. That is unforgivable in a mature product. The keyboard has been on the market for a few months now. Worse, when I went to the logitech site for help they pushed me to Chat. That lead to a paid support site that wanted $66 / month for support. Big fail Logitech.

iPad 9 gen. This app is not recognising my combo touch keyboard on iPad 9th gen. FYI am in Australia.

Update your app or something. I have to reset my ipad each day as the ipad air folio trackpad stops working leaving me unable to scroll but the mouse still works. Sometimes the mouse cursor fails to disappear. For a keyboard and case that is nearly as expensive as buying a laptop something like regular updates shouldn’t be too much to ask for. I really don’t want to have to go and take this further to fair trade in Australia.

Works for Me. I have a Logitech ComboTouch Keyboard for the iPad 10.2” (9th Generation), and was able to easily update the Firmware for it using this app. Which is only the purpose of the app. You used to be able to use the app to control your Keyboard’s backlight level and other stuff, but those settings are built into iPadOS now so once you’ve updated your Keyboard those features aren’t available in the app anymore as they’ve moved to the iPad’s own settings app.

Trackpad not working. Just got my new Logitech combo case from amazon today. Trackpad was working and as soon as I updated with this app the trackpad disappeared. I am greatly annoyed at this. This is bad service I just got the case today how can the trackpad not be working.

Issue an update, please. With recent OS updates, something is badly broken with the keyboard driver. 1/3 of the keys do not work, and it cannot be possible that so many keys go bad at hardware level all on on a sudden. This is back to two-year-old broken state, it seems.

Immediately broke trackpad functionality. After connecting my brand new Logitech Combo Touch everything seemed to be working, including trackpad support. It prompted to download the app, then update the firmware. The firmware install experience was horrible, and it failed multiple times. After restarting the iPad and reconnecting the Combo Touch, the app indicates that the keyboard is now on the latest firmware, but now trackpad is completely unresponsive. Very disappointed... Will try to return/replace.

Bon clavier. Les caractères en français sont un peu difficiles à trouver sur le clavier que j'ai reçu et il n'y a pas de manuel facilement trouvable sur Internet qui explique comment les utiliser. J'ai dû chercher moi-même les trouver et il est dommage qu'on ne puisse pas changer les paramètres pour que notre clavier soit similaire à un clavier normal en français canadien et cela prend un temps d'adaptation pour bien maîtriser cette manière d'écrire. L'absence de manuel d'instructions, autant dans l'emballage que sur l'application, est la raison qui me fait enlever une étoile à ce produit. Je n'ai pas encore beaucoup de temps d'utilisation sur cet appareil, mais jusqu'à maintenant, tout va bien. Il est beaucoup plus simple d'écrire sur un iPad avec ce genre d'outil que sans. P.S. Pour ceux qui se demandent quels sont les commandes pour écrire les accents (Si vous avez le même modèle que moi) : À côté des flèches, il y a un bouton option. è = option + le bouton avec ~, puis cliquer sur la lettre é : option + e, puis cliquer sur la lettre ê : option + i, puis cliquer sur la lettre ç : option + c ë : option + u , puis cliquer sur la lettre Je n'ai pas encore réussi à trouver comment marchent les guillemets français ( pour les ouvrant, option+ le bouton sous delete, mais je ne sais pas comment les fermant marchent)

A whole app for notifications?. The keyboard is great, I’m using it to type this. However, the app… Is not good. I saw on reviews of the case you could control the backlighting. The only option I have is for notifications? Waste of 10.1 MB. UPDATE: I just figured out that you can change a bunch of things in setting under Accessibility. It’s better now. But still, The apps a waste of space.

App crashes at launch. With the latest update, I am not even able to open the app since it crashes at launch. I am using the iPad pro 11’’ 2nd gen. With the app not working, I am not able to use my keyboard at all.

GARBAGE, AND POORLY SUPPORTED SO FAR. I bought the combo touch keyboard for my iPad Air 3, and paid $230 Canadian from Logitech directly. The keyboard constantly disconnects, and reconnects a few seconds later, just to do it again a minute later. It completely ruined the use of the keyboard !! The app won’t keep the settings that I put in either...if I choose 60 seconds timeout, and leave the app, It will be a different value when I go back into the app. The fade out transition control also won’t keep the setting I choose either. It’s absolute garbage. Renders the whole experience useless. The app was recently updated and made NO difference. Either Apple or Logitech has failed their customers.

Hello, I just bought the IPad Air 4 and the Logitech folio keyboard and I updated the app and iPad and the track pad stoped working, I googled a whole bunch of options but it looks like I can’t get the track pad working. I tried the QWE + alt and it doesn’t work. I really hope they fix this because the keyboard is really nice over all

2021 September BEWARE!. The product sucks and truly does nothing I download it and still having connection issues with my apple 8th generation iPad. The app goes no where and just shows you a logo . Don’t download this product and Apple should band the developers for creating a crappy app .

Finally supports the slim combo. After updating my slim combo keyboard I haven’t experienced any disconnection issues so far... Now if only logitech would make a firmware update for the combo touch to prevent the trackpad from occasionally disconnecting... UPDATE: The firmware update for the combo touch does not seem to fix anything... I’m still having bugs where the trackpad and the keys do not register input although the shortcut keys and backlight still works. Other issues I’m still having: - Trackpad pointer won’t automatically hide - Using the trackpad to access the dock or slide-over apps sometimes doesn’t work -Unable to use the “double tap to drag” accessibility feature -After the pointer disappears, the trackpad can stop registering input. To fix I need to press any key and the keyboard will “restart” (the backlight will turn on)

Fix Minor Bug. Once you do the QWE+Option sequence ( On iPad Screen ) and see that "Unlocking Firmware Update (Trackpad)" grey text at the bottom left - hit the "Your keyboard is up to date!" button and it'll allow you to reinstall the update

Need support for Logitech Slim Folio pro.... Only for the combo touch? What about the slim folio pro, for the most popular ipad on the market, and the actual ipad that should have gotten a trackpad lol.. backlight is quite aggressive at night and the 2 settings are practically the same, both quite bright we need more versatility. And an app to remap some buttons would make a lot of sense, Brydge was clever enough to include the ipad brightness control on their function keys instead of of the keyboard backlight. Hope this app starts supporting other products for all Logitech clients.

didn’t function well on iPad Pro 3rd generation. after update, the ipad doesn’t recognize logitech combo touch well. Most of keys work fine, but “hardware keyboard” doesn’t show up in settings\keyboard, on-screen keyboard keeps on screen, it won’t disappear, and some keys do not work (left/right/up/down, auto caps locks). But after power off the ipad and power it on again, combo touch works fine.

I have been trying for3days to get keyboard back on iPad9. Havere done firm ware now 4 times this if not corrected is a total waste of money, it should not be advertised as compatible to an iPad nine until such time does function.

Broke my touchpad. Purchased a new Folio Touch for my iPad Pro that had no issues until this app pushed a firmware update and now the touchpad doesn’t work. No option to reapply firmware or rollback to a previous version.

Not recognizing iPad Gen 9. I just bought a combo touch for iPad 7th, 8th, 9th and while the keyboard works this app fails to recognize my new iPad Gen 9. Opening the app displays a ‘connect your supported Logitech keyboard’ message and nothing else to do.

Why doesn’t this work with Keys-to-go?. Keys-to-go globe short key doesn’t work natively. Why haven’t you updated via this app or some other means?

Echoing others comlaints. The keyboard often goes to sleep in apps. Sometimes I can enable it with touching a key but oftentimes the trackpad just fully disables. In some apps The keyboard glichtes, such as enlarging pages without my input. We need a firmware update for more stability!

Latest iPad update renders keypad useless. I’m using my keypad as an iPad cover as it no longer functions. The logi app crashed on launch and the keypad doesn’t work. This needs an update asap.

What is this even for?. I got this app for my Logitech keyboard for updates, and my keyboard is lit up and connected, but the app says to connect my keyboard. I thought Logitech would fix this issue despite the bad reviews, but no. Logitech is a very good technology hardware company, but not that good in software.

Weird response. Hi, Tha main issue I have is with the response of the brightness indicator window when changing the brightness with the keyboard. Instead of it showing it for multiple seconds the brightness window flashes, its quite annoying. Also, I don’t like that I cannot reprogram the home button key on the top left of the keyboard of the folio keyboard like I can for the globe key. Thanks.

Useless. Downloaded this to check and get a firmware update, but it drops out consistently after 1-2 minutes of connection time. And yes I am not touching the unit and it is stable on a table. What a waste of time.

Good hardware - horrid software. Software rarely works - - firmware updates stall (I haven’t been able to get a single one to work.). Just garbage and frustrating for a not-so-inexpensive keyboard.

Awful. It used to work but all of a sudden, my ipad started giving an error message that the keyboard wasn’t compatible with my device and the app crashes the second I open it, the keyboard doesn’t even work anymore.
