In app purchase. I purchased the three wave plugins for $7.99 each. The bundle price is $19.99. I was charged a total of $23.97. Why couldn’t you just give me the bundle price instead of charging for each separate plugin?

Crashes, can’t get anything done. I imported a 90 minute recording of a piano performance and tried making some simple edits to the file… Thought it was working well, until the program just crashed… When i load the project up again, all the edits are gone. This has happened several times. I’m thoroughly unimpressed with this software. The only reason I tried it is because it came as a “freebie” with a Korg keyboard I purchased. What a waste of time! There’s no way I would pay for the full version if it’s anything like this.

I like it. But I would like to know what is the difference between Cubasis le2 and Cubasis le3 ?

Not about music. About money changing hands.. Just offer it to use like normal demos. Being in bed with product manufacturers makes you look like money grubbers. Remember, it's about the music. Come back from the abyss! Just let us use it for a while like other apps. I don't want to buy a piece of equipment to try your product. No, your so called demo mode is not letting us try it for a while. Be more generous. It will return to you.

I feel cheated I paid 50 dollars for the app plus extras for more accessories then I spent 50 more for Cubasis lE 3 because supposedly it is a more complete app but oh surprise I have to pay again for tools that I had already bought in Cubasis which really bothers me really really disappointed

Please add support for the irig stream. I downloaded the app ready to check it out. I was ready to unlock all the features but I couldn’t because it didn’t support ik multimedia irig stream. So can y’all please add support for the irig stream?

AMAZING, but. I purchased the UR 12 audio interface, and the manual says it unlocks the full access of the app once connected to my device, but it does not. Am I doing something wrong???

Now it is on my 6s Plus, and I'm super happy!! Just curious: my fully loaded Cubasis LE 3, is it now the same as Cubasis 3? Or I've missed something from the full version? Need a midi bluetooth device to upgrade !. I don’t have a midi bluetooth device, how do I unlock the in app upgrade from LE2 to LE3 ? Update: The automatic reply from the developer shows that they didn’t listen to my question. Update #2: I try to unlock demo mode by connecting an iRig Bluetooth Midi Blueboard but it seems that this device is not supported even though almost every other iRig device is, very frustrating, I paid $50 for Cubasis and now I have to buy useless hardware to unlock it ! Reply #3 to developer, Your question was; what hardware did i use to unlock Cubasis Le ! A: I didn’t have to, I just paid the $49 on the App Store and installed it on my iPad.

Issues!. Bought a Steinberg UR44C which came with Cubasis LE. I upgrade because you can’t do anything serious with the very gimped LE. Cubasis 3 crashes with just Ravenscroft 275 loaded on one track! I switched back to Cubasis 2 and I have NO ISSUES! What??? This is a Steinberg interface! Please fix this!

I dont know what difference LE has from the standard Cubasis app ,but this app crashes every time i use it ,a real inspiration killer- finish recording a session click to another-crash Close a synth to open another-crash Finish recording a 3 min take-crash,and nothing recorded😧 Listen to session than click to another,just listening no recording -crash Im using it on an ipad pro,with no more than 4 tracks at once,with fabfilter reverb and eq on-4 tracks ought not be a problem! Every single time ive used it-its crashed-i mean EVERY.SINGLE.TIME.

Latency issue. Simply put Cubasis 3 has a latency issue that Cubasis 2 did not have. I’m not new to Cubasis. I owned the original and the Cubasis 2. Running on iPad Pro 2nd gen. I have no latency with Cubasis 2. Cubasis 3 performance is so sluggish that live monitoring is impossible.

Please add Output Device Selection to iOS version. I’d love for the developer to add Audio Output Device selection to the iOS version of this app. I currently have a usb c dock with usb for my audio and I’d love to have the HDMI output for video output only. Currently with both plugged in, the audio automatically routes to the HDMI. I’d like to have more control. Is this possible? Love the app btw. Correction/Update Using Apple’s USB-C A/V dongle, you can have HDMI video and USB audio enabled simultaneously. Other hubs don’t automatically detect this. It would still be nice to have the option to select this in iOS. Perhaps this is an iOS feature that needs to be enabled. I’m inching towards a 5 star review. Just need to add Markers in the DAW and I’ll upgrade my review lol.

Question for Dev. Question guys i have a titan 50 Ekit and wanted to use cubasis to record midi forbmy band. Will this app work with that kit using bluetooth and or iphone to midi cable? Thanks in advance guys

Garbage demo. 1st nothing is unlocked that’s fine but to have a demo that expires where nothing is unlocked is just garbage every feature has to be unlocked if you have a expiration period I was going to buy the full version but after that little stunt no thank you I paid enough for Cubase AI LE Elements 9.5 full version would be nice to have this though but without testing it I can determine if it’s worth it or not I mean does it connect with my pc or not I couldn’t even tell you

I might be confused. It doesn’t make it obvious that you need supported hardware in order to use this app. I believe that I just paid 30 dollars for something that is now useless, I am giving you five stars still because I am hoping I’m wrong and I know you make solid products

Changing My Review. So I reached out to the Cubasis developers and they found out that the note skipping is caused by issues with the AudioKit FM 2 AUv3 implementation. Thumbs up on the prompt response. So I’m giving Cubasis the 5 stars it deserves.

Upgraded to Cubasis 3 but still very limited. When you record the cursor gets hidden after passing the right edge of the project window in other words in record mode auto scroll is missing. There are other limitations for instants there is no 68 time signature there’s no linear and musical mode andThere’s no time to stretch to stretch the recorded events and many other limitations.

please add search to media. i bought the full version of the app and i love it so far (i migrated from garageband when logic came out) but i only have one thing that really annoys me. there’s no search function in the media hub and it’s a pain. please add that in asap

why?. I wanted to give this app a try to see if the full version of Cubasis was right for me, but nearly every feature I wanted to test is disabled. And on top of that, you can only use the demo for 30 minutes.

It had so much potential. Using the app is great, was easy to find out how to write midi and arrange and just what I was looking for. If this had more functionality on a demo, it would be perfect. Coming from someone who has used and purchased Cubase for 10 years, the demo limitations in this mobile app are a complete joke. 30 minute demo timer doesn’t even give you enough time to learn how to use the mobile app. It took me 5 minutes to find out how to start writing a MIDI track. You can’t start a new project, all settings revert after 30 minutes, you can’t export MIDI in demo. The only reason I would ever use my phone to track or write music is when I am on the go so I can get an idea written and translated so I can export or copy into my desktop DAW when I get home. This demo app doesn’t allow me to do that. I’d be willing to spend a few bucks on the app for sure but I am not buying a hardware license to use my phone to track ideas. I don’t know what subset of people record on their phone but this isn’t really what I’d consider a “Lite edition” (Cubasis LE). Maybe if they make a true LE for just tracking ideas and charge $3 I’d buy it.

I’d like to utilize iPad and iPhone capabilities... Why do you need to make sure I have money in my account just to download an app that I already paid for and use?

Frustrated. I would like to try this app for sound effect design, but I have a zoom h6 which is not one of your listed devices. It did come with a key code for for Cubase LE on a desktop machine, but I am trying to be more mobile with my editing. I have no way to import a sound in the demo mode. There is not a way to determine if this will do what I want it to do. Super bummed.

Thanks and an opinion. I‘d like to thank Lars for his help transferring iap from Cubasis 2 to 3 LE. And it‘s a stable app and working for both iPhone & iPad. My only complaint is that now the price of Cubasis 3 is 33.99$ and upgrade from 3LE to full 3 is 29.99$. Not so much difference if you had a supporting Hardware device such as Steinberg Sound Cards. Wish the upgrade would be more reasonable. Especially considering I had paid previously for Cubasis 2.

Upgrade processor. No more glitches. I had to focus my understanding to avoid track glitches, 4 or 5 tracks can shorten ones hobby time. Now everything Cubasis has is available. Great! I have all my workarounds plus a properly functional recording system. 10 to 14 tracks just as good as 40 tracks of that other waifu DAW

Love this app! Please add stereo flip and graphic eq?. I’ve been using app in some version for the past two years. I find overall being able to record in pretty high quality using just an ipad allows me to over look most of the few short comings it has. Historically I haven’t been a cubase user but I’ve found myself pretty happy using it to the point I will probably stick with it That being said I would love if they added stereo flipping and a graphic eq.

More!. This made me so mad I had to write more. So, I go to use Bias FX 2. Nope! “This version doesn’t support doing that.” Really?! A trial version can’t insert an amp modeling app to see how it functions in your software???? ZERO stars.

Cubasis le 3. I bought a Yamaha AG06 mixer which was supposed to give me access to more features. It’s worked in the past, but all of the sudden it tells me I can’t export my mixdowns from the cubasis app to my files. Maybe I’m just missing something, but it won’t let me share my track or download it unless I upgrade. This is very ironic to me because we’ve paid the $30 to upgrade previously, and the app wouldn’t restore my purchase. Why can’t I export my mixdowns if I have a mixer which is supposed to give me access, and we’ve paid the $30 upgrade price in the past? If I’m just overlooking something please let me know

output options. I only wish I was able to export/share mp3 format. I’m a voice actor and auditions can only be mp3. Why? Dunno. There are plenty of formats that are suitable, but it’s in their court and mp3 is what they require. Please add mp3 as an option.

Crashes but enjoyable when works. I’m a big Steinberg fan , heavy Cubase user so wanted to expand but feel this app isn’t optimized for iPad. Some great features like freezing , automation, chord pads, and IAP make it an solid tool. But when I use IAP it often freezes or takes forever to load. Which isn’t an iPad experience, you want something quick and light I don’t expect a full fledged daw but a stable one at least. Also surprised there isn’t scale assistant as thats a huge Cubase feature. So having to use other apps to do that function also adds to the load. As a premium offering in the iPad ecosystem I expected better performance it’s one of the slowest music apps I’ve used. I do enjoy it at times but it proven to be unreliable and frustrating to. Hoping for more stable efficient updates.

Not a review but a question. Currently I’m on iPhone. I plan to upgrade to ipad soon so Question 1: If I purchase this now I’m my iPhone will I be able to transfer it to my ipad when I upgrade? Question 2: currently on GB.. some of my plugins have bad latency because (if I gather right) because the sample rate is low. Is this software likely going to overcome that? Question 3: “Supported Hardware” I don’t see my keyboard on this list. It is a Casio S360 dig piano but with full weighted, and usb with an interface (focus rite). Do I need a dedicated midi controller for this or is the Casio just not on the example list? Thanks in advance :)

Don’t waste your time. If the app was free it would be basic but okay, the level of support with virtual amps etc is very average at best. Effects you add on tracks sometimes works sometimes doesn’t. There is no support from Steinberg apart from a community forum so the chances of sorting issues is pretty slim as I have learnt with a major crashing issue through Cubase 11 and 12. I personally wouldn’t recommend spending money on the app.

issues of upgrating from Cubasis LE 3. need help on two issues 1, I downloaded the Cubasis LE 3 first, then upgraded inside the app during the Cyber Deal period. However, I was charged $34.99 instead of $19.99. 2, Also, the app icon on my iphone is still Cubasis LE, not Cubasis 3. When I go to the Cubasis 3 page in the app store, it shows that I need to pay $34.99, instead of just let me download and open it. It’s a very good app though. I would be great if my problems can be solved, thanks.

Get it. I starting using this program because, when I first start trying out different DAWS on my Microsoft computer (Cubasis 10.5) I had issues getting anything to work. When I did a little bit of research online to troubleshoot my many issues I found that Microsoft is no good for music production but is great for business type software. But.....I have an iPad Pro so downloaded this, and was making songs in an hour.

Great app, great support. A lot of the negative reviews are from people encountering activation issues or who are confused about the product offerings, which is not what reviews are for. But you can see from the responses that the product support is excellent. This is one of the fundamental apps of iOS music making.

NC2x does not activate the app. I connected my numaCompact 2x and it’s reading it as interface but not activating the app. Please fix this.

Can't connect to unlock purchase. The link to connect my supported amp doesn't work. Tapping on the link has no effect, I can't unlock the purchase with my supported Yamaha amp. This isn't a matter of Bluetooth working, the link in the UI is broken, ie doesn't do anything at all.

Why ?. Okay the fact that you can only unlock the app with a Bluetooth midi keyboard is kind of redundant. Like why ? What is the legit reason, I don’t own a Bluetooth keyboard and shouldn’t have to fork out money just to test an app to see if I want to actually by the full version for a hefty 69.99. So once again....WHY ?

user friendly. So far I am really happy with this app. Easy to use with my UR44 interface. No particular issue that I can tell after a few weeks working with it. I recommend reading Cubasis 3 forum, though. Thumbs up to Mr. Slowak who seems to put a lot of work into this project!

The best iPhone DAW. I use Cubasis mainly on my iPhone as a field recorder with or without the Yamaha AG06 and a shotgun mic (Sennheiser MKH 500) at 48kHz and 32bits. The most affordable and flexible pro grade recorder. This app is a must have if you are a sound designer/musician. Get it!

More fun than computer. I like to use this app for simplicity and fun compare to with computer. Perhaps i am not the best at using DAWs but i can get my work done on this app but why making the drum pads smaller than previous Cubasis LE 2?

Cubasis LE 3. These are terrible products that never work. I purchased Cubasis 2. To make it work with an IPAD, I had to then buy another Steinberg product, a UR22mkII interface. Then, because they don’t connect, I had to spend more money on a ‘Apple IPAD Camera Connection’. Of course, that doesn’t work either. Eventually I got the IPAD working with an IRig, but now I can only use one mic instead of multiple inputs (ie what the interface was supposed to do) So, now I upgraded to Cubasis LE 3, on the hope that these various problems would be solved. Nope. Instead, there is a new problem. I have to “connect to a Bluetooth supported device” to “unlock all Cubasis LE features”. Well, I don’t even know what that is, and now can no longer just plug in the mic, let alone use the UR22 contraption that (spoiler alert) doesn’t have bluetooth. (Notwithstanding that the Steinberg website states that it is compatible with the app) If you are still reading this I’d be surprised. Let me sum up so not to waste more of your time: Steinberg products don’t work as advertised. Don’t buy them. If there was a rating less than 1 out of 5, that’s what I would choose

LE2 to LE3. I just activated LE2 then realized LE3 is available. Firstly, it’s confusing why I have to see two different versions? I downloaded LE3 and connected to my iPad Pro. It doesn’t seem to be able to get out Demo mode. Do I have to delete LE2 to activate LE3? LE2 shows app’s name as Lae while LE3 shows LE3. Steinberg doesn’t seem to have solid rules for naming, maintaining download link, updating the information. My very first Cubase was on my Macintosh Color Classic 27 years ago.

THE mobile recording app.. I really like this app. Actually did a small YouTube tutorial on recording guitar in it. However, when I did the upgrade to the full package it still keeps the Cubasis LE 3 icon. Very trivial but just wondering why this is the case.

Garageband was holding me back... SO great to have folders for projects! Productivity wise garage band was really holding me back. Well done DAW here!
