The best. Marvis is the best music player I’ve found for the iPhone and I’ve tried quite a few. It basically operates as an improved interface to the Apple Music app, so, if I’m not mistaken, it has the same limitations to music quality (AAC files). However, if that isn’t an issue to you, this app has a very nice looking interface, intuitive swipe gestures, customizable screen and colors and lots of options. Well maintained as well, it’s always worked flawlessly for me. Since I got it, I’ve never felt the need to use any other music app. So good, many thanks to the Marvis team.

Wish I could edit genres.. This app shines for what it doesn’t have compared to Apple Music: the clutter, the dark patterns pushing you away from your library, the queueing nightmare. It brings its own complexity in the form of extensive settings for power users, but these are optional. The one limitation I’m still frustrated with is Genres, specifically the inability to change them. Apple Music is terrible at assigning genres, they’re all over the place and often outright wrong. But maybe there’s a hidden setting? Developer response was very good, updated review to 4 stars. But I wish there were in-app help to save us all some time.

Get this app now if you have Apple Music. I have been using this app for about 3 years and let me tell you this app is a life changer. Imagine all the things that you can’t do in the native app or wished you could do. I’m pretty sure this app will let you do just that. This app is basically 100% customizable and also has lots of info you can access and sort by. This app has improved greatly between the first time I used it. The updates just keep making the app better and better. I appreciate the dedication the developer puts towards this app!

Very good, needs MV support. I’m very impressed by Marvis. The layout and functionality is surprisingly customizable. I have a number of filters and sort criteria on the home section that streamline navigating my library while also being more aesthetically pleasing than the stock music app. I have only a couple of negatives to mention. One is the lack up support for manipulating the “Up Next” queue. This may not be something specific to this app, but rather a limitation of iOS. It’s tolerable though, since the drag-and-drop option menu essentially functions the same way. If I only want to hear a single song, I can tap and hold a song and drag it to the “Now Playing” option, rather than being forced to swipe left on every individual song in the “Up Next” queue that follows it. Another thing that would improve this app is music video support. Currently, I can play music videos from my library in this player, but only with audio. The video is replaced with a still thumbnail image taken from the video. I reopened the stock music app for the first time in several weeks because I wanted to watch some of my music videos. Other than some small bugs and desirable features, I thoroughly recommend Marvis. It is completely worth the price I paid for it, and it’s several times better than Apple’s Music app.

Number One Scrobbles for Apple Music!. So much greatness about this App, I could spend a while talking about it. The simple fact for me and single best feature is the Last FM Scrobbles. The detailed information it shows on your music is unmatched. The immediate link to everything in the Apple Music App is excellent. Awesome App! I came back to add, I knew nothing, so many more features its phenomenal ! You really need to dig in, but that is what makes it so awesome, you'll soon realize as I have, that Marvis is hands down the single best App on iOS Im not kidding, I'd rather have Marvis than settings if I had to choose 😂

Fantastic App! Unbelievable interaction and support!. I was looking for an alternative to the base music app. After spending some time searching and researching, i stumbled across Marvis on a blog online. I read the article then the comments on it. And to my absolute astonishment the creator of the app was there talking to people and building on their feedback and ideas. I then noticed how almost every if not every single review on here had developer feedback. I looked at the reviews and purchased the app. Within 1 hour of downloading and using the app i ran across a problem (that turned out to be user error on my end). I DM’d the Twitter profile for this app and had a response in 5 minutes. Me and the person i was talking to trouble shot for 15 minutes until i realized my error. I do not have enough kind and supportive words for this app and it’s developer.

HANDS DOWN THE BEST iOS MUSIC APP!. I have been dreaming of a day when I can finally stop looking for decent music player app and I am excited to say my search is finally over. This Is the best music app I have ever used on iOS. Every detail, every action, every aspect of the app has been painfully designed with care and is natural to the user. Thank you for this stunning app. Please everyone buy this and support the author. Tip him and tip him often using in app purchases. I am a very pleased customer who finds beautifully designed software so blissful to use. There’s only a handful on iOS and this is one of them.

Thank You! Love it, but I do have one issue. This makes my Apple Music experience much improved! However, in the app on the Home Screen, the top left three lines to click to get into the main menu is cut off and can barely just see the edges of those lines to click to get into…. Using iPhone Pro 13 iOS 16.3 - I try to rely on the swipe gesture but even that seems like it’s detection might be cut off or something as I have to do the tiniest swipe from the exact edge

Best alt stock music app out there. Love how it looks & how there’s a bigger focus on album artwork in this one. There is some issue though, when the app is in the background for some time, it seems to freeze up the playing controls, I can skip or go to previous songs fine but it won’t play any song again until I restart the app. Haven’t come across any other issues so far.

Great app, lyrics broken.. This app works really well and does what it’s meant to, it looks a lot nicer than the OG music app and serves as my main music player. I have installed and setup Musixmatch, but whenever I press the lyrics button, it first shows the share sheet, where I then have to manually select Musixmatch. Which is annoying, and I hope that there is something that the developers can do. So that the only option that shows up (Musixmatch), is automatically selected. So when I press the lyrics button it just opens the lyrics in the Marvis app. Rather than opening the share sheet, making me select Musixmatch, then showing me the lyrics in the Marvis app.

Best out there. This app is the best Apple Music player out there. There is so much customization available it seems almost endless. UI and UX is amazing. Just from the user experience alone it is one of the best not just exclusive to music apps. There have been continuous additions made since its release. To top it off the app’s dev is probably the most responsive and open to suggestions one I’ve come across on the App Store. I wish this app and developer much success.

Nice player. I appreciate the iPad version, but it seems like a lot a wasted space left of the player, especially in landscape view. I would like to see some layout options. And the appearance options seem to be either black or white - I thought it would be more ‘colorful’ like the previous app. But all that aside, the player does work well and is certainly better than the Apple app.

My favorite music app!. This is the best, Apple Music companion app I’ve ever used, and I’ve tried pretty much all of them. I consider myself a super user, and I can pretty much customize just about every single thing about the app that I want to. And it doesn’t have any of the things that I consider annoying from Apple Music like advertising and pushing artists that I don’t want to listen to. It’s really fun to fit it to my exact needs and wants and it has unquestionably helped me enjoy music more.

My new favorite. I've been using another music app for years, and to be honest, it's been great, and I have been (and am) very happy with it, and with its developer. And yet, I have to be honest, Marvis has completely blown me away by being all that and more. It is very nearly everything I've ever wanted, or even imagined wanting. With apologies to my other music app, Marvis has stolen my heart away. Marvis's developer has been outstandingly responsive, working with me to help me understand all of its nuances and taking time to understand how I use it, and what I'm looking for in a music app. I didn't really "get" all that Marvis is capable of at first, and his attention to my concerns really made a world of difference in helping me get the most out of it and understand what it is capable of. I'm very grateful for that. The one thing that stopped me, especially at first, from making a wholesale switch to Marvis was the lack of support for iPad. In my view, that's really a must-have. There is a beta that does support iPad, and that's what I've been using. Once that's generally available, honestly, this will be the new standard-bearer, as far as I'm concerned.

Powerful alternative music player. This music player is very powerful. It can feel busy at times, but if you scrutinize, rate, organize your music experience then this is for you. The ability to have landscape mode is a great addition. My only thing I would like to see if some way to differentiate songs when viewing music in the drop down option. It’s hard to tell where the last song of an album is before the next one is. Perhaps highlight the songs in a different gradient to its easier to see. Other than that. I love it.

Need option for list view of artists. I get that it looks nice to see either the artists or album artwork when looking through your library but if you have a large library this makes for very slow scrolling. I can see six artists per screen whereas in Apple Music I can see 12. I don’t need large images for scrolling through the Artists section. Either small images like AM has or no image would be fine and the latter would likely allow more to be visible.

Best Apple Music and local music player!!. This is the best app to play your local MP3’s for the iPhone if you are tired of the design of the Apple Music app! It’s extremely configurable as far as sorting of music and viewing it in different ways. For instance I have my main album screen sorted by artists. On the screen for a selected artist, the albums are sorted chronologically. If your picky about your music apps this will likely be the right app for you!

My New Favorite App. After being disappointed with the native IOS 14 music widgets I was curious if there were other alternatives. This app is it! Not only does it have widgets but it also displays music stats such as most played songs, albums, artists etc. You can basically customize every aspect of this app, except actual widget customization. Hoping to maybe see that in another update. I would also love to see the Full Player use the entire screen in the iPad version of the app, and I’m DYING to see a music visualizer feature. With the hyper customization available through this app, having a super customizable visualizer would be a dream come true. Excited to see future updates!

Great app! Just one recommendation. I love this app! It’s definitely the most reliable and cleanest music player app I’ve found. It would be great if you guys could add an equalizer. I would definitely pay for that as an additional feature. I’m not really a fan of apples built in presets since all headphones, speakers and monitors sound so different with the same EQ preset and would love the option to create our own EQ presets. Thanks a bunch for the great quality app!

Hands Down the Best Music App. I am continuously impressed by the features I keep finding in this app. As someone who listens to entire albums at a time, it’s great being able to create a playlist full of albums I want to listen to, then group it as actual albums instead of songs. Every single bit of this app is customizable, but in an approachable way that doesn’t overwhelm. Couple that with a very responsive developer and this is one of my favorite apps of all time.

An oasis in a sea of crappy streaming apps. I’d been reluctant to migrate to Apple Music from because of how the library treats songs and albums, and how the native Music app doesn’t allow for advanced sorting. Marvis makes Apple Music usable. I get to build my own interface with as many custom queries as I want, the goal being to reduce taps. - Loved tracks, instead of having to rely on a smart playlist that updates whenever - Loved playlists, to keep my faves within reach - Albums, but only ones that have all tracks saved (as the gods intended 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹) - Apple Music algorithm suggestions, which I can bury at the bottom If you’ve been struggling with the stupid UX/UI decisions that other streaming services keep making, switch to Apple Music, get this, customize the heck out of it, and never look back.

The best Music experience on iOS!. This is what the music app from Apple should be. I have a huge collection of music that I’ve built over the years. Over the past few iOS updates it seems like Apple is less focused on allowing me to browse my own library of music and more focused on pushing Apple Music. I love this app because it finally makes it feel like I can easily browse my library as easily as the original iPods. I especially like the ability to build a custom homepage of your music which includes pinning albums and playlists. I highly recommend this app to anyone with a large library who wants to take control of their music!

Closest app I know of to the original iPod music app. Unlike Apple’s current music player app and other apps that strive to emulate it, this app shows the number of songs played in a playlist along with the total number of songs. This allows the number of remaining songs to be easily calculated. This capability helps ensure that songs are not deleted or repeated, which has been a common problem with recent versions of Apple’s music app since IOS 8, which this app successfully avoids. This app also shows relatively large album art on its screen compared to more recent Apple Music player app versions. Cesium used to be my third party music player of choice up until its recent versions eliminated the ability to see the list of upcoming songs, thereby eliminating the capability of determining if songs have been skipped or repeated. Mavis is now my music player app of choice and I highly recommend it for those who long for the simplicity of the original iPod music player, which can no longer be obtained from Apple.

Packs a ton of options under the hood. This app gives you the ability to use smart rules to filter and extract songs from both your music library and Apple Music, which unlocks music discovery and organization just the way you like it. The customization options are plentiful. Most limitations of the stock music app go away by using Marvis. If you love music and wish to rediscover your library, as well as amp up new music discovery on Apple Music, this app is for you.

Best music player ever!. I usually don’t write reviews but I had no idea there are music players for Apple Music until I randomly found out about this app. It beats Apple Music’s default player even after the iOS 13 update and I don’t think I can go back to the default one. Great job to the developers and big thanks! Music is a big part of my life and your player made it so much better! One thing I couldn’t figure out is how to manually reorder tracks on a playlist by dragging and dropping but I’ll play a little bit more with it and hopefully figure it out. Also, that extra step for the Musixmatch lyrics is a little annoying and I hope it can be removed in the future, but I’m sure it can’t be done at this point because of the way Apple has set up things. Once again, big thanks to the developers and sorry for the long rant but this app made me really excited!

Disappointing. I feel like I paid $3 for night mode only. The same functions I use in the native iTunes app take additional clicks to perform. Ex. Picking a playlist. Menu>playlists>desired playlist. And it freezes up regularly. Have to cold boot my entire phone to get it working again. Which means I loose the order of songs that I am currently playing though. Overall I find joy in seeing my phone in dark mode while listening to music. Especially while driving at night as my phone rests in the cradle on my dash. So I typically set up what I am listening to in iTunes then switch to Marvis while listening. While I think it was not overpriced for what it promised, it was overpriced for what I got. I’ll still use it as the money is spent and it serves a purpose to some degree.

Best music app I’ve ever found. In the decade or so I’ve had an iPod and then an iPhone, I’ve struggled with the ups and mostly major downs of the native music app. I’ve probably worked through five or six various replacement music apps over the years. With the ios13 update rendering my most recent app unusable and the native app still unacceptable, I gambled on this one. Unequivocally it’s the best music app ever I’ve tried. It just simply works, is intuitive, and can very likely be customized for your personal tastes. So many choices!! Highly recommended. I don’t think you will be disappointed. I wasn’t.

Great at everything I wanted to do!. I wanted to be able to view playlists by artists, see a count of the number of artists in playlists, and not waste a lot of space on a huge header when viewing playlists as album covers, and this app does a great job of all of that. I also love being able to customize the home page: I’m currently displaying a few playlists, recently added albums, recently played songs, and most played artists. Creating a shuffle playlist of album covers and pulling down to refresh it to get some random albums to listen to is also really nice. It looks like it could handle anything I might want to do in the future as well.

The best way to use Apple Music in iOS. It’s really nice to be able to open a music app and not be bombarded with whatever political affiliation or fringe ideology that Apple wants to shove in our faces. Are there some bugs? Sure, but they’re almost always entirely the fault of terrible iOS functionality. One day Apple will learn how to build an actual operating system, but Marvis will fill the hole for music in the meantime.

I couldn’t ask for anything better. this is honestly just a praise for this app. it’s everything i’ve wanted and been looking for. I can organize my playlists on a grid and in multiple rows. how’s the developer even going to update an already perfect app, I don’t know but i’m so excited to find out. why are you even reading this, it has 5 stars and it’s literally free. 🫶🏼

Worth every penny. If you’ve been using the stock Music app for long enough, eventually you run into things you wished it did better. Widgets behaviors you wished you could tweak, UI layout doesn’t fit your specific needs, things you have no interest in but can’t remove, elements and metadata you’d rather see, etc. This music player lets you fairly easily handcraft a music player that fits your precise needs in terms of features and aesthetics, and I have yet to feel any wonkiness or clunkiness despite all the customization options. This is an absolute gem of an app.

Everything I’ve Wanted. This app came highly recommended on Reddit. Just got it today and already it’s one of my top 5 apps. It offers almost everything I’ve found lacking with the Music iOS app. Tons of customizations, listing track count at the TOP of playlist, even on outside of playlist, now playing notifications, and an actual live, working widget just to name a few.

Must have for Apple Music Users! A couple suggestions.. App is great but please add playback speed like other players have. Edit: Proactive developer responded to my review. Wish I was using this app years ago. Stop thinking just buy. Review changed from 4>5 I absolutely love this app after months of using it. It is a must have and really the only reason I keep an iPhone. Worth every penny. Please make lyrics automatic when the song switches so I don’t have to hit the button every song 🙏

Great App! A Few Suggestions.... Is it possible to have a search bar at the top. This way it avoids a swipe and tap to search a song? This option could be turned off and on in settings. Another suggestion is for the New Releases and Coming Soon, can we customize it to the genre of music we like? Also, I've noticed if I'm playing a song in the background and I open the app, the time where it shows the song at is wrong, the time bar has to catch up. Can it be changed to show the correct time right away? Can the volume bar at the bottom be longer? Thanks! I totally recommend this app!

Buggy. I'm driving to work listening to music on iPhone iOS 14.2 and half hour in it cuts off but I'm at work so i turn car off and go in. After work it works fine again I'm driving home and half hour in the music cuts off. I use apple CarPlay and I checked a million things, even turned phone on and off, and tried Bluetooth instead of CarPlay but nothing was working. After wasting half hour trying to figure it out I finally just open the regular music app, press pause, then play, and it's fixed. Other than that its a 5 star app. Had to give it three stars until that's fixed UPDATE: thanks to the developer for responding. They kinda admit it's buggy. the issue persisted and the pause play fix stopped working as well so i looked for a different app and found "Soor" and it doesn't have the problem i had with CarPlay so I have requested a refund for marvis pro. Let me know if you fix the issue and i will re-rate. Thanks

Absolutely fantastic!. Skipped a latte last week and bought this instead, and I use it dozens of times a day. It’s absolutely gorgeous, and the gestures and animations inside the app are a joy to use. If you love music, then loving the app that controls your music only makes the experience better. Highly recommend this, works perfectly with my Apple Music subscription, and has found the holy grail of places on my phone - the dock. 😍

Amazing Apple Music Integration. I’ve been using the stock Music app for the entire duration of my iTunes/Apple Music usage, but recently I wanted a little more leeway in terms of filtering my library to rediscover old music. I took a chance and forked over my five dollars only to discover a much more elegant and customizable Apple Music experience than what I thought I’d be buying. I absolutely love the ability to create new sections on the Home screen, to which you can apply rules, filters, and reorder every time of item in your library. The first thing I did was make a section for weekly releases but from years past. Even though I’ve never played around with other AM clients before, I was amazed. You can also customize the Home screen by lifting sections from AM’s For You and Discover tabs, which is amazing for putting everything you actually care about on one page. My current Home screen setup has sections for Recently Added, releases from previous years, Hot Tracks, New Releases, and Music By Mood. I don’t care much for a lot of the sections that the stock AM app has on each page, so being able to pick and choose is mind blowing. The only problems I’ve encountered so far with this app are that you have to open the regular AM app to delete songs from your library and that when you open the default AM app, closing it resets playback in Marvis. Aside from these issues, this app is PERFECT.

Exceeded my Expectations!. I’m so happy I found this app. Marvis completely changes how I access & discover music. I love the many customization options and the slick, clean UI (the gestures, in particular, are very intuitive). I also love the ability to export/backup preferences and configurations. This provides peace of mind in case I ever need to reinstall the app or reset my phone. It also allows me to easily keep the setup in-sync between my iPhone and iPad. The stock Apple Music app has been replaced with Marvis on my primary iPhone Home Screen.

Amazing, what Music app should be!. This is what the Music app on iOS should be. The amount of customization options is mind blowing. I’m usually not one for excessive customization, but I think in the case of music, everyone listens to their music so differently that it just makes sense. The design, polish, function, and features here make this app an absolute must-have for music lovers. Thanks to the developer for so much time and care. I think the only thing I would change is the sidebar, which is often finicky to navigate and I think I’d rather have a customizable tab bar at the bottom in its place. But everything else is just so incredible about this app. I’d recommend it to anyone.

Best App I’ve Purchased. My love for music (particularly heavy metal) is to the point of obsession. I’m always listening to music, building up my own collection with classics and new releases, or keeping my finger on the pulse of what my friends and the larger music community are listening to. Marvis Pro gives me all of the resources I could imagine to streamline these processes. With a little fidgeting, I was able to create a “radio station” that constantly pulls 25% from my personal library, and 75% from other playlists, such as Apple’s “Breaking Metal,” which is a good way to find new music. That’s just scratching the tip of the iceberg. I can’t wait to jump back in and figure out similar tricks for other circumstances. For example, I’m already planning on making similar stations that mix my tastes with those of friends and family, which may make long car rides a little easier! On top of that, as someone who spends a lot of time in music streaming apps, the amount of customization options are fantastic. Being able to move every section around, enlarge, shrink, or collapse various images, and even customize the background itself with a load of options was a ton of fun and looks great! Further, having everything I could want (all playlists, albums, artists, songs, custom stations, etc) on one screen is something I can’t imagine ever going back from. I just love this app. Well worth the price. Best app on the store, in my opinion.

I don’t usually write reviews, but.... This app is truly a work of art. I was on the fence about buying it without trying for $4, but I 100% made the right choice. There is a ton of customization you can make on this app. If you’re wondering if it’s possible, it probably is. There’s more customization than I actually needed, but it’s nice to have the extra options and I’m sure people will be using the options I don’t. The app runs very smoothly with no bugs that I’ve seen yet. The app icons are a nice touch, and the aesthetic of the app in general is pleasing. Lastly, the developer is very responsive on social media, including reddit. He was happy to help me with any questions I had, and went into great detail explaining how his app works regarding my question. I am more than happy to spend $4 to support a fellow developer that’s doing a fantastic job! All in all, this is a must have if you’re a power user for managing your music library. There’s a reason this app has overwhelmingly positive reviews!

It’s a good start. There are an adequate amount of customizations. Certainly better than the default music player and I would purchase it again. BUT, I wish the default setup was the way I have mine now. I also wish we could use animated GIFs as the custom background. Randomizing background images. Maybe random photos of the band or artist playing as a background image. Even background visualizations would be next level. Move all options above the keyboard or at the bottom for one hand use. Watch, Mac apps to control the phone, and CarPlay app integration would be nice for a $10 app. Like I said, the app is a good starting point. Update: The new side bar is ugly. Way too much clutter. The literal opposite of what made the previous sidebar so beautiful and enjoyable to use.

Absolutely essential for those who've long hated the stock Music app. this app is nothing short of amazing, albeit embarrassing, in comparison to Apple's breathtakingly underwhelming and non-user friendly stock Music app. it does everything you've wanted the Music app to do for years, and even more. the level of customization is nothing short of critical for us (digitally) neurotic organizers who were stranded and left ignored by Apple long ago when it came to "Music". this IS the only solution when looking for a replacement to the ridiculously dumbed-down and offensively un-customizable stock app we've been stuck with for so many years. there is almost nothing negative to say about this app; don't waste time testing any other free music players or managers. this is the new flagship for a music library (both Apple Music, and local) on the iPhone. money more than well spent.

Pleasant Surprise - Best Player Yet. I’ve been searching for a full time music player ever since Apple took all the functionality out of the Music App. I was a long time user of Cesium until the app became completely unstable and regressed. After much searching, saw this app creep up the charts and took the plunge. It has nearly EVERYTHING I’ve been looking for, in some form. The new Smart criteria allow me to start a lengthy playlist and resume whenever I please or organize my 25,000 song collection without the help of iTunes. My 100+ playlists are a breeze to navigate and sort. I haven’t even talked about how simple and beautiful the interface is. You can customize almost any view from the menus, to the navigation, to the player itself. Kudos to the developer. This may be my favorite app in the 11 years I’ve owned an iPhone.

Incredible music player!. Highly recommend! Top 3 requests for developers: - Make option for song star rating to be visible along with song info at all times rather than toggle- there's plenty of room. - Have option to have a playing now screen with upcoming songs instead of album art - Give option to enable more fields (biterate, audio format, etc) or just a metadata viewer - bonus stretch: would be omg amazing to have a seekable waveform bar displayed, like soundcloud does or like music bee.

A fantastic app to organize your music. It took me a while to understand this app, but once I dive in I fell in love with it and my music collection again! It’s extremely customizable to the point of being a little overwhelming to setup, but thankfully there’s a decent community online helping others figure things out. Once I got my Home Screen setup the way I wanted, I found myself diving back into new and old music much more than I used to. Music became a part of my daily routine in a way it never had before. I took off one star simply because I wish it had shortcuts integration, but the widgets are close enough to what I’d want. I also think there should be an easier way to add specific playlists/albums/artists/etc. to a Home screen without having to add a filter for its specific name. Little things like that make it cumbersome sometimes, but otherwise it’s an extremely good music client!

Best Music Player. As the title says it, this is easily the best music player out right now. The customization is limitless and completely replicates what most computer software can do. I especially love how I can use specific filters and smart rules to create random mixes on the fly. Not only that, but the people behind this software have excellent customer service. At one point I wanted some help and when I reached out I got a response within minutes. I have no complaints at all, only praise. My only desire is if crossfading was integrated when it’s not dependent on the stock app. Other then that Marvis is amazing! Thank you so much for this great app!

Wonderful Music app!. The organization of this app is fantastic! I love the ability to change my search features and display, while still being able to use my personal library. The widget is also fantastic to use! Displays the current song and it will even allow you to turn on notifications for when the song changes (which is great when you are zoned out and want to know you song choices)! Thanks again for some great development and can't wait to see how this app evolves for the future!

Great Customer Service. Well let’s just say I may have previously prematurely rated this app and gave it two stars. But after finding the “contact” button in app, I voice my concern and in five minutes that changed my entire user experience. Now, this is the only music app I will be using to discover and listen to music. Everything is customizable to what I want to see and how I want to see it. Well worth it. Can’t wait for future update (widget customization )

Great app, but somewhat broken. Marvis is by far the best music player I’ve used since 2009. Super fluid and customisable user experience, truly top notch. Unfortunately the native music app sometimes won’t play nice with Marvis and can cause some occasional issues, but overall the UX is far above and beyond Apple’s default music player, especially on iPad. One thing I would like to see in the future is better support for the slide over-size window on iPad. For some reason in that small window size, album art/artist pics etc are the same size as the full window, which can be cramped in that small space.

Solid app. Solid sound.. At last! This has the best sound of any music player in the app store. And believe me I've tried loads. Just needs cue/up next feature and I'll be happy.

Fantastic app. Got it to view playlists of albums but the UI as it stands is just fantastic.

Marvis Pro. Simply the best music app out there. A joy to use. Looking forward to the native iPad version. Can't wait 👍

Best app ever. Marvis Pro is truly the best app in the App Store. This is the reason the App Store was created in the first place, an amazing developer scratching his own itch and creating something so amazing that thousands of people now cannot live without. If you use Apple Music, either the streaming service or just with your own library (or both), you need to get this app and then join the official subreddit. It’ll transform how you interact with your music and you’ll realise just how bad the Apple Music app is. I can’t remember the last time I opened Apple Music and I pay for the streaming service!

Where has this app been all my life?. So much customisation!! This app makes it so much easier to get straight into playlists I regularly listen to, and really make use of metadata. Love it

Superb. An outstanding achievement in design and functionality. This app satisfies the most demanding music fan with seemingly limitless customisations. I’ve been looking for something like this for years. Looks great on the iPad Pro screen. This app makes my library fun to use again. Congratulations.

Fantastic!. Does EVERYTHING and more! I love being able to customise every aspect of the app but the best part is being able to sort playlists. Thank you to the dev!!

Amazing. Just awesome. Lets me set up my Apple music interface the way I want

It’s a 5 star experience…. The player however is just not it, like no. I’m sorry the album art should be centred with the text to the left please 🙏 also the lyrics need to show up in app like how Spotify/Apple Music do it. If that was changed I literally wouldn’t use any other music app. As a side note idk if y’all can do this but the ability to use chromecast as well as airplay would be pretty groovy!

Value. Levels of customisation that aren’t available elsewhere on iOS.

Almost Perfect. I really think this is one of the most efficient and useful music players I've ever used, and only have two things I would want added, which is custom EQ and waveform visualiser. I know it’s stated as not possible due to the lack of raw audio data, but me and others included use Marvis with mp3s from iTunes, so therefore it should be possible. It might be asking for a bit much to add these features for a small portion of users but then again I paid $15 for Marvis and would be willing to pay like an extra $5 for those features. Or maybe I just like winamp too much.

the best money ever spent. marvis is simply worth the $35 or so i dropped on it to have last.fm integration and an overall better music player for apple music. it’s customisability to fit literally any aesthetic drives home just how versatile this app truly is. 12/10 would drop $100 to buy again

Fresh. Nice customisable Apple Music client that’s bound to be Sherlocked sometime in the future .

As necessary as Apple Music itself. Marvis Pro’s last.fm support is enough. It’s hard to find a working Apple Music scrobbler, and this one is good: it consistently catches those that could have slipped through with other live scrobblers. The customization, nice use of colours, widgets, icons and more are gravy, too.

Brilliantly made, brilliantly played!. No, I don’t know what it’s supposed to mean. IT RHYMES, AND YOU KNOW IT RHYMES! ADMIT IT! Oh yeah — this app is the teets, my dude.

One App to Rule All Apps. The best of the best so far. Now even better with live activities. Just FYI there’re some minor bugs with the meta in the live activities though (time left stopped when the song is repeated, or lyrics doesn’t show anything…) but I’m sure this amazing dev will squash them all.

Please bring back old sidebar. I love this app and have used it for a couple years now. It has been given many new features overtime which is awesome, but for an app that prides itself in being highly customisable, it is weird to me the recently changed navigation sidebar can’t be switched to its classic version. I’ve used the new sidebar for a good while now so I’m used to it, but I still don’t like it. Also, with so many settings now present, a settings search would be highly beneficial if possible to implement. Those are my only suggestions, otherwise an amazing app that I highly recommend to anyone who uses Apple Music.

Amazing, Full featured music app. Full featured music app. Can be configured so many different ways. Highly recommend. Works like the native iOS music app should. **** There was an issue with how the app worked on my phone, and the developer ran through some trouble shooting steps with me personally, and identified the issue was in my iTunes. They suggested a fix and it is working fine. *******

Fantastic app but lack some feature i want. Alphabetical slider within the playlist, and option to make it always show.

Best music app ever. Apple should make this the stock app

Much better than stock player. Much better designed and with the ability to customise this is a must have. I only wish it had the symbol like Apple Music does to show which songs are most popular on an album.

Simply the best. Every day I wonder how I lived without this app. Apple should be ashamed of the state of the stock music app, and learn something from this developer. Marvis provides very intuitive controls with innovative solutions to navigation with the sidebar for example. It even provides more information than is viewable in iTunes on desktop! 10/10 app, literally indispensable for me now.

Crashes on “view details”. App was working fine since I got it but for the last few weeks, it crashes every time I press “view details” on a track

Can’t stop using it.. This continues to be the best player for playing music on iOS, by far. Now not only does it have Apple Music integration, but it also still offers crazy amounts of customization on visuals and sorting. There’s little things like metadata that I always appreciate as well. Thanks for letting me beta test the app as well to work around an issue I was facing. The issue is resolved, and the developers are super responsive and friendly on Twitter and are at the ready to fix issues. My favourite app update was the one that included an issue resolution for a single user running iOS 11. That’s dedication. Looking forward to the little upcoming changes like true black Dark Mode and artist/playlist/album banner art. The developers have even mentioned that dedicated iPad and Watch apps are in the wings. Watch app and complication would be a game changer, and I can’t imagine just how beautiful this app will look on the new iPad Pro.

Way better than the Apple Music app. Lots of options, looks nice, easy to use. And I love that I can scrobble albums without actually listening to them—I use this when I listen to an album on vinyl. Such a great app.

Money sell spent. My new default music app! I have moved the Apple Music app out of my dock. Great music application.

Amazing. This is honestly one of the best iOS apps out there. The functionality and polish is amazing and the updates are frequent. It’s easily replaced the Music app on my home screen. My only request would be for a more native iOS UI style, like Cardhop has achieved.

macOS app (or at least compatibility with iOS app), please!. Just downloaded this to help me better tolerate Apple Music, but I was disappointed to see that the app won’t run on my M1 MacBook Air, which if I’m honest is where I have the most problems with Apple’s horrendously clunky and poorly designed Music app. If this could either be fixed or the iOS app ported to work on Mac, I’d be endlessly grateful!

Must have for Apple Music users. This takes Apple Music to a whole new level—so many customization options to help you experience your music just the way you like it.

Literally the best music player on iOS.. It may seem a little expensive since your music player comes free with your phone, but the customizable UI has made me never want to touch the default music app again, since this one is so much easier to navigate.

SO GOOD. Oh my goodness this app is literally the best thing I’ve ever experienced

Best music app. Excellent

Nothing Less Than Impressive. Clean, DARK MODE, can turn off or on icloud (I don't like using data), tonnes of customization options but simplistic in layout. Well thought out and worth the one time price. Finally something great! I hate the default app and apple's music service in general

Wow. Right off the bat, I'm incredibly impressed. So much detailed precise control is offered in such a clean and polished interface. That's not easy to do. And this app does exactly what I have long wanted: the ability to categorize my /albums/. Not just make playlists of songs. To anyone who is particular about their music and has a lot of it, get this app. You won't regret it.

This app is amazing. You can customize literally everything and make it your own. I love adding my own photos to the sidebar and the whole app itself

Best app I’ve ever spent my money on. This app is the reason I’ve grown to love Apple Music. While I love the design of the stock Apple Music app, absolutely nothing beats the shocking amount of things this app can do. The two things that made me fall in love with this app was built in and background Last.FM scrobbling (I bought the Last.FM+ IAP) and the gestures used to navigate between the pages in the app. It’s so convenient to swipe right and hold to navigate through the app! Plus, you can customize your app and pages literally however you’d like. Thank you dev for this beautiful app!!

No control over AirPlay. I hate not being able to reorganize playlists, but I understand that MusicKit is fairly limiting with what you can do. However, whenever I AirPlay from the app, it plays through the Apple TV but I lose ALL control after that. Everything must be controlled from the TV or the stock Music app. EDIT: Switched to a 5 star for awesome developer response explaining why. :)

Amazing music experience. Outperforms the stock Apple Music app in pretty much every way. The customization is seemingly unlimited and the possibilities are endless. The UI is great and the ability to customize a home page with elements and folders to your liking is an amazing feature. My favourite thing is changing metadata on the full player screen to show the most important information to me such as a release date, the genre, album, artist, device I’m playing the song through, etc. overall an amazing music experience.

Awesome. My music how I want it. Lots of choices but result is ideal views for each grouping. Would be even better if plex was a choice as well as Apple Music.

Freezes & crashes. I like it but it’s unusable sometimes! Lots of freezing and crashing 😞.

Great app. If you want to customize your music listening experience, this is it. Period.

Love it, but. dozens of crashes. I keep my rating high, as paying for this app; &, a tip, prob helped many others via Apple Music's app(Classical). I'll try this app; & Music Harbor app, again, if I ever upgrade my old iPhone SE 1 & 2. All software is buggy, but no podcast crap mixed in, here, so 2-3 stars, already. ;)

All-Time Favourite Music App. Thank you for making older versions available for all of us “iPod Touch/pre-iOS 16” users! There was a brief window following a device reset on my end where an older version wasn’t available to reinstall; that time I spent using other apps really drove home how amazing all the Marvis features are in comparison. This is one of the best music apps for managing my music library: choosing my own artist & genre images, integrating with Last.fm in live time (also the killer plus features), accessing in depth details for all my tracks, albums, and artists, and generally being able to display the metadata that matters most to me in a way that’s aesthetically pleasing. For users who use Apple Music or have newer iOS devices with widget functions — Marvis is an extra level of seamless integration. It almost tempts me to get Apple Music, which is saying something. The only area in which it lacks somewhat is the ability to edit & remove playlists while in the app. That’s an issue stemming from the original Music app though.

Just WOW!!. This is hands down the best music player app that I have ever come across. Money well spent on an awesome & amazing music player app that gives me so much happiness. I’ve tried plenty of Apple Music player apps but nothing comes close to Marvis pro, a spectacular music player app for iPad. Two thumbs up!! Keep up the good work.

Absolutely amazing, must have music app. Hands down the absolute best app to play and discover music on iPhone for Apple Music users. The Home Screen offers an unbelievable amount of integration with Apple Music and is totally customizable. I’ve been using this app for the last 4 years and have rarely opened the native music app since. The developer is dedicated to continuously improving the app and user experience and I’ve been pleasantly surprised with the number of updates provided. My only suggestion is possibly adding an option to have the search bar on the Home Screen? Not sure if that options exists and I just can’t find it, but it’s really the only improvement I can think of. Absolutely no lag, songs and playlists that are downloaded via Apple Music appear instantly. Using on iPhone 13 Pro Max Absolutely flawless execution all around- Apple needs to seriously replace the music app with this!! Bravo!

Amazing. Worth every penny.. I’ll admit I was hesitant to buy the app at first. But it was worth every penny. I like keeping my music offline, and Apple continues to limit the functionally of the default music app. This solves every single gripe I have! My only recommendation to the developer is to put together some documentation because there are so many features and some of them can be a little hard to discover.

Scrobbling inconsistency. Why do I continuously have to "renew" my apple music token to get accurate scrobbles? Seems like my scrobbles aren't always active, but can be refreshed periodically from within the settings

The best music app I have ever used.. Title says enough. It’s the best. This app gives you absolutely everything and every customization you could ever dream of. All in an elegant and beautiful package.

Almost perfect. One key feature missing: ability to download songs from within the app Would also LOVE a small cloud icon on the top right of the homepage to toggle the local/iCloud songs without having to open the sidebar. But overall this is incredible. Can organize my music exactly how I like!! Edit: thank you for the developer response!

Excellent!. This is the best music player app period. So much customization and options. Spectacular interface and you can customize that as well. What a real music player is all about! Huge kudos to the developer. Well done!

Amazing. What I’ve been looking for! What a solid app, works way more smoothly than the default Apple Music app. Airplay is way more solid, and the customizability is insane. Impressed!

Excellent music app upgrade. What a great app. This doesn’t replace the stock app but more like a highly customizable pane of glass into the music app. The developer is active, responsive and listens to suggestions from his users on how to improve the app experience even more. Kudos!!!

Awesome app. Great Apple Music interface alternative. No real complaints beyond the limitations iOS has that Marvis is held back by

Confusing interface, lacks basic features useful to musicians. I bought this app based on other reviews, but I was sorely disappointed. The user interface is confusing. It's hard to know where you are. Navigation gestures seem inconsistent. Want to jump around in your playlist? Not easy. Want to go to the album on which the current song appears? Can't do it here - but Music can do it.

Great app!. Great review but I wish there was a way for you to sort playlists by last played.

Does Not Work. The UI is totally frozen on my iPhone 12 mini running iOS 14.6. Totally useless and a complete waste of my money. Buyer beware.

Love this app.. I use this all the time on my iphone and love it, it just keeps getting better. Would be fantastic if this app ever made it to the mac.

The New Reigning King Of Music Apps!. Infinitely better than the stock app! So highly customizable in every part of the app. There are literally too many to list! I can’t say enough about Aditya, the developer! Always open to ideas and feature requests and will converse with you on how to best implement it (when possible). We’ve had many conversations bouncing ideas back and forth!

Great 95% replacement for the stock Music app. Pros: a stellar interface (take notes, Apple), dark mode, customizable home screen Cons: a couple of features are not supported like creating and adding to playlists, but not a big deal because I can do that through the stock app

could use a couple things. would benefit from a better music discovery, perhaps a different page selector to choose from as opposed to the swipe and a more accurate star rating feature an Apple Watch app, even a very basic one, would make me use this over the stock app much more that being said, it’s the most advanced and well designed player for Apple Music to-date.

LOVE Marvis!. I absolutely love Marvis and am thrilled it’s made a return to the App Store - completely fresh feel to it and very well done. I do miss the prior background option and the animated “song playing” dot, those were both great - but overall the interface is clean and easy to use. Five star app that’s very well done by a developer who cares about quality!

Changed the game. This app completely changed how I consume music. I don’t know what I would do if it wasn’t available. Check out the subreddit for a lot of helpful information on how to set it up. Thank you!!

The should be the stock music app. This is absolutely, hands-down the app that Apple should have made. I get that Apple does not like giving the user a ton of Customizing options, however; they really should purchases app and make it the stock app.

Love marvis, not a fan of the new sidebar. Marvis has been my default music player for ios for eons. That being said, the new sidebar doesn’t really gel with the rest of the design of the app, and on its default settings makes it a little harder (more steps) for me to get into the menus I want. I do like that it’s customizable though; I ended up just recreating the old menu style with custom tabs. Overall still a great app.

Not impressed. App seems to work fine for me but I don’t really understand why I would need this when comparing it to the Music app. I feel like I paid $5 just to be able to play my music on a different app. Maybe I’m missing something but I don’t get how this is supposed to be any different than just using the Music app. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Truly Excellent. This app addresses all of my frustrations with Apple’s current Music app and it has actually made me enjoy my subscription more. My only wish would be to have Apple podcast integration in the menu screen!

This app rules. Marvis is so good, it’s everything I want Apple Music to be. The UI is gorgeous and completely customizable. BEST of all, the album artwork is bigger on the now playing screen than Apple Music’s, even just by a small amount but it makes a world of difference. Keep up the great work on this wonderful app.

Good with some issues. By far the best app I have ever spent money on. I just wish there were blending options for text transparency, and that the app was much less buggy. The bugs are a big problem. Crashes occur occasionally, and items will start flickering. With that said, if you use Apple Music as more than just a casual listener, I highly recommend this app.

Amazing!. Incredible and very reliable replacement for stock iOS app. TONS of customizable features and gives you the freedom to make the app your own. Aside from a few missing features I would want, this app has it all!

Doesn't solve problems from Apples native app. Marvis is fine but not what I was hoping for. Any time another app plays music or video, Marvis won't continue playing the song you were listening to when you go back to the app. You have to restart the app and lose any playback order you had previously arranged. Marvis also does not always save the last song you were listening to, which is the main reason I looked for a music app other than Apple's native one.

Finally!! Marvis Pro is here and it’s awesome!!. If you want a great, comprehensive music app that’s a better alternative to the iTunes music player then you’ve found it. The GUI and the aesthetics of the app are the best plus there are many features that lets you customize the groupings and playlist. If you seriously want the best music app in the App Store then get Marvis now. Apple developers can definitely learn a few things from this app.

A very great app. Only few suggestions. Over all the app is very good. Only a few suggestions to developer. Is it possible to use its own player? Even I close the app, the music is still continuing. I need to click the stop button. It’s quite inconvenience. And also it will be great if you can provide us more app icon. May be also add an app name customized feature? Lol...

Too many consistent bugs. I’ve been using this for about a week and really want to like it. When you use the app for the first time in a while and select a song, it will begin playing a different and random song. Not sure why that is. The app crashes on a regular basis as well. I may give it another shot after a long while when hopefully it can be less buggy but for now it’s far to frustrating to keep using it.

Life changing. Amazing.. If you’re here, you probably are thinking the stock Apple Music app is really bad. If you’re here you are probably looking for a better Apple Music app. It requires learning, but once you get it, it changes the Apple Music experience.

AMAZING!!. Landscape solved! One time purchase — check! Tip jar? Deserves tip! It’s hard to believe Apple won’t do Landscape mode but for driving and orienting an iPhone in Landscape for Maps … to have to physically rotate is such a bummer. Until this. UPDATE: Couple days later … this is my all time favorite music app. So worth the money!

Having some difficulty. So i made this purchase without being sure what to expect but was blown away at the design and over feel of the app. However I’m currently encountering the issue of once i pause a song i cannot unpause it :/. I love everything else about this app and would appreciate support. Edit: everything works fine after a restart. Thanks for the support

Worth the price. I bought this app specifically for the last fm feature, and I have to say this this works better than the official last fm app. Lots of customization as well. Overall I’d say it’s better than the default music app.

As a fan of the stock iOS Music app, whoa.... This app rules all. I love the customization options it brings while staying super minimal, design and UI wise. The MVP feature though is drag and drop. As someone who likes to “curate” songs to shuffle through daily, this is an absolute game changer. I no longer have to waste time making temporary playlists. Brilliant.

Widget Issue. I want the widget to display music controls. I edit the widget and turn on that setting, and it works. For a while, anyway. If I stop listening to music for a while, the controls disappear from the widget, and I have to edit the widget again to bring them back. On a free app, this would only be a minor annoyance, because you get what you pay for. This isn’t a free app. Or even a $2 app. For $6.99, I expect more.

Literally the best music experience I’ve had. This has made music streaming such an enjoyable experience again. The audio quality of Apple Music mixed with the customizable interface really lets you make it exactly how you want

Some widget update error. Thanks for the update! I wish the small widget could rotate itself with the new release/top tracks list instead of just showing the top one!! The same track stayed on my widget for over two weeks now 🤪 Thanks!!! —————— Love the editable widget but the new update still didn’t fix the following bug!!! Error: My apple account is U.S, when set the widget to display China/Taiwan New Releases/ Top Tracks, album art won’t show at all. Also I hope it can display the international language(Chinese/Korean) instead of just all English. Hope my suggestion makes sense. Thanks!!!

Needs more widget options. App is pretty good, does want I need it too—which is have widgets that can display and play curated lists of albums. Problem is there’s not enough options for what to do once you click an album—the choices are basically play the album (and open Marvis app) -or- don’t play the album (but open the Marvis app). I would LOVE two additional options, (1) play the album (and don’t launch any app) -and- (2) play the album (and launch Apple Music to the ‘now playing’ view). Hope you can make it happen and make these widgets even better!

First 24 hours truly impressed!. I bought this after much research on third party apps for my music and it’s been a dream. Why is this so good? One word only, customization! You don’t like how your library displays? Cool then you have the power to make it exactly how you want! The only improvement would be the addition of an equalizer to play with the audio fidelity. Besides that it’s everything i wanted.

Great app and beautifully designed. Even though there are some things I could improve, I see the dev is active on the subreddit so makes it even better to know my voice could be heard. Incredible app, haven’t had any bugs or problems and the design overall is very intuitive and snappy.

Great but no sync of settings/config. The app is really great, the one thing it's currently missing is the ability to sync your settings/config across your devices with iCloud. This is particularly frustrating for a user with multiple devices, iPhone, iPad, Mac etc. Please could this be reviewed for future inclusion in the product?

Smart player. Love this with WidgetPod - keeping screen active when playing makes CarPlay expand to an extra screen. Customizations are smart and functional. Well-done and an app I use daily.

Bugs with smart playlists. Like most of these music apps, this has serious grouping bugs. If I open a smart playlist (for example, the playlist of the 200 most recently added songs, manually created in iTunes excluding unchecked and non-music items) and do Sorting by Album, it somehow replaces the songs with ones that are not in the playlist.

Wow. Thank you so much for this app. Just to be able to sort by date added within playlists is something I’ve been wanting for probably over a decade. And the rest of the functionality is tremendous too !

Underpriced. This app should be worth at least $20 and should replace the original Apple Music! I’ve been looking for an app that can allow me the customize my music to each detail and here it is. I appreciate the work that has gone into making this app and you guys deserve more for it!

Awesome app. Earlier I wrote a 4 star review with feature suggestions. After exploring for a day, found that whatever I requested is already available. Developer also responded to my question promptly. Thank you.

Five stars until. I would rate Marvis five stars. I find the Smart Playlists are anything but smart! I don’t like not being able to customize the Smart Playlists. Can’t even move or remove the Stupid Playlists. Not intuitive if they can be customize or removed. Not even listed alphabetically! Personal is before Smart! Last time I looked P is before S in the alphabet!

Excellent Music App. I have been using Marvis for years and love it as a replacement for Apple’s mediocre app. I have a lot of music files and have been disappointed with Apple’s focus only on their streaming service for music. Marvis provides a wonderfully rich yet simple user interface that is worth buying the app to experience.

Wast of money. Don’t support Mac. They rudely only support the newest generation of Mac. My Mac is good enough to run every hight-tech program, yet this silly music app is not supported. Also the app really disturb the Apple Music experience (if you open it while listening to a song it will repay the song from the start or skip to the next one) . Wast of money, I wish I could have a refund. It worse very bad with siri or with driving. I am very disappointed because I had high expectations.

Almost perfect. I rarely write reviews but this app really shines in making the music app better. The customization and intuitive nature of using this app plus the support of the developer and the community is really something. My only complaints would be the lack of music video support and the Mac app existing but basically not working at all for me. An Apple TV app would also be nice.

Awesome app. It’s basically a perfect app for those of us who still like downloading music. It reminds of the the old pre-Apple Music iOS music app, but even better. Also, I haven’t found many iOS apps at all with this level of customization. Highly Recommended!

Dynamic!. This is an extremely powerful music app, wow! Clean interface but a ton of features under the hood. Love the ability to create custom filters for sections on the app Home section. I wish I could automatically skip songs that are marked as dislike and aren’t in my library, but I understand the Apple Music API creates limits. Definitely a valuable purchase!

Fantastic Application. Makes the Music App on iOS usable again for me! Big thanks to the developer(s)! The native Music App is no longer designed to play YOUR music, it’s designed to access Apple’s Streaming services. This is a great app, especially if you manage your own music and expect basic UI customization, sorting, and search options!

Amazing, BUT. The app is amazing. Everything is perfect. The ONLY thing that could improve the app is this: An equalizer. Boom, an app here with an equalizer, does a fantastic job at improving sound quality. The user interface is garbage, though. This app has standard sound quality, the same as the stock app, but with a gorgeous UI. If you guys could add an equalizer, just as good or even BETTER than the one I mentioned, this app would be absolutely perfect. You’d have millions of customers for life.

Incredible. Great for your rips and for Apple Music. You can’t lose however you listen. Only downside is that this app offers so many features that you need to invest in a large but joyful learning curve!

You can create a list of "Favorited" albums!!. I've been wanting for a long time to be able to "pin" favorite albums for easy access and Marvis lets me do this by creating a home section of albums I've "Loved" in Apple Music. Ingenious!! Just wish I figured it out sooner.

So powerful AND beautiful. This is the stock music player all grown up and fully realized it’s super powers. Hands down this is my favorite music player on my device. It’s extremely configurable and lets me manage my library how I want it. The developer is very responsive and helpful.

Everything I’ve Ever Wanted. Very customizable. So comprehensive. You can adjust the entirety of this app from the icon all the way down to the sizing of the information displayed and how it’s organized. The provided themes are absolutely wonderful, with light and dark modes. Thank you for returning a cover flow feature to my listening experience!

Not the best for me. So this app is not bad. Sathorn, Soor, and all the other music apps lack a dedicated volume button but this does not. I would like a bigger volume rocker. The volume rocker does not have to be bigger than the current one. Also I would prefer a horizontal menu layout. The side button is difficult to use. The volume button for me would be better if it didn’t zoom in and out when I would use it. Thanks.

Thank you!!! Group by artist. After years in the wilderness with unorganized music I can finally group and sort the way I do I do my record collection, by artist. It’s astonishing that Apple hasn’t realized that that’s how people sort albums, not by the album title!

Great App but still has some bugs, could be perfect. Sometimes when using the search bar and trying to return, the only solution is to restart the app. Otherwise you’re stuck in the search screen without even a search bar.

All problems solved. I have a lot of music from various sources. The Apple Music player doesn’t get it. Songs and artists, if grouped at all, are split into a different album for each song. It’s a nightmare. This app fixes everything. It all flows easily and makes sense. Nice work fellas.

The music player of my dreams.. Personally prefer this over Cs, but I'm thankful they both exist and we can customize this stuff. It's a tinkerer's ideal, but you can always hit "reset" and the defaults are great. Plus you can export settings for another device or backup. Well done.
