Nope. When ever I download a game and then you ask me to sign up for something in order to play your game then it’s not happening. I’m not going to pay a monthly subscription to play a game.

Not having it. I was going to try it but it went A payment method upfront which I’m not doing up front

How is this not some violation of Apple’s TOS. Maybe they just haven’t caught wind of this, but this is deceptive at best, bait and switch at worst. Ban trash apps like this from the App Store.

Terrible Model. If you ask me to sign up for something (even if it’s a free trial) the second that I open your app, I’m deleting it immediately. You’re going to have much better luck letting your customers play your game for a bit before you ask them to sign up for any subscription. Especially since you’re a company that most people have no idea about, hence you have no reputation for us to rely on when it comes to signing up for a service. I was actually looking forward to playing your game, and possibly paying to play if I enjoyed it. But because I opened the app and was immediately hit with a sign up screen, I unfortunately won’t be trying it out. Whoever is in charge of your marketing/sales should really rethink their approach.

Subscribe to play. Second I open the game and it asks me to subscribe. Just fill the game with ads or something, or charge me through apple. I am not going to pay for a subscription to even play a game. If it was a subscription for something within the game that’s fair play, but to need a subscription to play? Nah. Don’t bother with this game unless you want to trust this developer with your credit card.

Poor subscription model. Looks like a good game. Not good enough for a monthly subscription. Didn’t even try the actual game. Don’t give them your email. It will simply offer you a free trial and subscription. Boo!!

Subscription based. Dont ask people to subscribe to your service without them being able to even try it first. Im not going to go through all the time it takes to sign up for something (free or not) just to be spammed by your company without even knowing if im going to like your game or not. Come on...

Game is definitely not free!. So while other games will make you sit through ads. This one wont even let you play it until you buy it or a gamesclub subscription or whatever. Total con, so dont even waste your time downloading!

Garbage, scam don’t download. I signed up and subscribed it only let me play the game for 10 minutes and then says I need to subscribe again. Won’t let me login either, I enter my email it sends my a code I enter the code get a thumbs up and STILL says I need to sign up. As a developer you guys are garbage and should be ashamed of yourselves.

Not free. How did this get past apple’s review process? This is bypassing apple and makes you buy the game on a website.

Used to love this game. I used to love this game as a kid. It’s dumb how they’ve turned a game into a subscription. It’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen. Honestly does a disservice to the game.

Free... But needs Subscription?. So first let me get this outta the way by saying it’s a trail game, the “free” version that is. I’ve seen some other ratings that the devs have replied to saying that this is just a trail and you need a subscription to play the full. Secondly, I didn’t even get a chance to play the game as when I opened it, right away it asked me to long into their game club and get the subscription. I haven’t a clue what’s going on here but definitely deleting it

Absolute crap. If the game isn’t free to play, it shouldn’t be free on the App Store. If I’m going to have to pay for it I want to know up front, not be tricked into downloading it for free and then asked to pay to play.

You’re gonna have to subscribe to see anything.... I don’t know if this game is good or not. I didn’t get to play it because the first screen was a request to subscribe to game club, and I’m not interested in that type of decision making. I can see their point. “We make good games, but you have to subscribe to see them.” Maybe this developer is among the rare few that can actually make a good mobile game. But, on the balance of probability, that’s not the case. So, why would I create a hassle for myself? There are so many other choices that I’m not even going to pretend to play ball with this kind of shenanigan. Sure, you do get a free trial, but then it’s my responsibility to unsubscribe. No thanks. Not worth the trouble. At least let me play the game before committing to something. Wouldn’t that say more about the quality of your games? Developer response update: apparently, you are supposed to be able to skip the sign up and play with out any data entry. Try as I might, I could not get this function to work. I am willing to consider updating whatever is required, but I just don’t see any way to bypass the sign up screen. It’s either not obvious, or not possible with the updates I am running. Sorry. I want to try your game, believe me, I do.
