NEEDS TO FIX!. I absolutely love this game! I finished every single level, and it's alot of fun. The only problem is that only a week ago I went into the app and suddenly it crashes. I tried clicking the app and yet it still keeps crashing. I can never get back on the game because of this. PLEASE FIX THIS! This also happened to my other friend as well.

Update for new apple hardware. Update it or refund me

I love this game but.... On Pumpkin' Time Level 6 it ALWAYS freezes & I'm taken out of the game completely. This happens right towards the end of this level. The app turns off & I have to restart the whole game again. I hope that issue gets fixed, 'cause I really like this game. I have the iPhone 5. Idk of that helps

Crashes. I love this game but it's very frustrating- the pumpkin level 6 crashes everytime I get to a certain point near the end! Please fix, my three year old is going to have an aneurism lol doesn't understand gliches

Fun game. Side scroller with a 3d look. Very nice graphics. Controls are simple and work good. Comfortable very quickly. The joystick control is very clever. Levels are beautifully done and fun to play. There are boss levels like Mario. Fairly easy but I'm sure the difficulty will go up. And the price of 99 cents is great.

Okay. This game was really fun.. until every time I opened it, it crashed. Please fix! I've refreshed the app, and rebooted my iPod (which is 4th generation) more than once! I can't even play it anymore and if I recall right.. I payed for this app! Please fix!!

THIS GAME IS LEGENDARY. I used to play this in my child hood and a It’s still amazing. The animation style is great, the plot is superb, and the nostalgia is crazy. This game deserves all the love it gets!

YOU HAVE TO PAY????. I have been searching for this game for weeks. I finally found it and was so excited to play, instead I was greeted with a “yOu NEeD tO pAY mOnThLy TO PlAY OnE GaMe” sign as soon as I opened the app. Unbelievable, you took the best game I ever played as a 4 year old and locked it behind a paywall. You people don’t deserve a penny, take the subscription off and I’ll think about a one time payment.

Nostalgia is lit. I haven’t played this game in years but just remembered about it and it is pretty fun. I already bought this game so I am not sure how the gameclub subscription works. This game has good controls.

SUBSCRIPTION!!. 2022 UPDATE: If you have a device running iOS 10 or earlier, just download the game from there and it'll count as a purchase. you STILL need an account though which is absolute bulls__t. as a guy that played the original game, this update is an insult to the game's legacy. TL;DR: i'm upset about how an ios classic can and would be treated this way. it's disgusting. while i'm happy this game is back, why the subscription? no one's gonna buy your garbage subscription just to play one game. it's a shame too because future generations will have to pay for a subscription unless they have the technical know-how to manually update the original 32 bit app. you're better off getting a 32 bit device and downgrade (more like upgrade) from this garbage. i'd much rather pay up front then pay for a subscription. you brought back a classic, just to disrespect it's legacy by locking it under a paywall. you people disgust me. these idiots don't deserve a penny. if you want a remaster, check out recut. it's made by the same devs of the original, and you'll be actually supporting their work unlike these sellouts which i can only assume they bought the rights to this game. if you're gonna lock this game behind a paywall, the least you could do is include a trial/demo mode.

Upset customer. I love this game and I have been glued to it since I bought it! But when I get to the last level in the pumpkin time world I get so far and it crashes every time in the same spot! It happens on my iPhone and on my iPad! Please fix this so I can finish the level! Until then I will be giving it 3 🌟🌟🌟stars but if it was fixed it def. Deserves 5!

Recommendation. You guys should create a level designer where you can create and share and view other players levels

Update it. I love this game! It's one of my favorites, but I think it needs an update because it always quits out of no where and doesn't save ur game. It's really annoying so please try to fix the problem. Thanks! I love this game it just needs fixed:)

Does NOT work with iCade Core. I bought this game thinking it would be lots of fun for my daughter playing on her iCade Core. After many attempts including rebooting the iPad Air, the iCade controls still does not work. Other games work with the iCade with no problems. My daughter was very sad not being able it play it the way she wanted.

WHY?!. ok so I've played this game since I was like 5-6, and I love it I rlly do but I don't remember ONE part of me having to pay to continue????? Why?. I LOVE THIS GAME SOOOO MUCH i use to play this game a bunch when i was little but i don’t remember you had to pay to play. No wonder i only had memories of the first FOUR levels. I am kinda poor and i wanted to play something i really missed playing but i can not really play the rest of the game without paying. I understand that is how you make money but you can put that on buying accessories for the character but no you have to pay to play more then the first four levels.

I came back to this after 7 years!. So this game is still as creative and awesome as I remember, but I don’t like how now I keep getting pop-ups from the company...

I loved this game until…. This game was my favorite until the app developers stopped updating the game so no one could play it. I wish they would update it to the OS because it has stopped working and is very frustrating.

The best platformer yet. This is really good. It deserves a five star. You know why? Because it’s the closest thing to a Mario game you ever get (besides Mario Run).

Adorably fun platforms. This game is a ton of fun . Challenging and supper cute . One of my fav games . My only complaint is when I save and answer a text it makes me restart whole level .

Wonderful game that I bought way back when, but.... ...it was bought, originally, as a one time purchase. The sale and subsequent “subscription revenue model” for game club are a deal breaker for me. Not because I object to subscribing, outright, but because of the sense of a broken promise. Once sold as an indefinite license, it should remain an indefinite license. I have a budget for subscriptions and I’m not spending that budget on anything that breaks a promise. Because ... why would I? The number one issue with subscription models is trust, and if the trust is already broken from the outset, that’s a problem. There are ways to rework this such that purchasers of the original game aren’t forced into the subscription. It’s implementable in the AppStore, and I’ve seen it work. This then constitutes an unforced error on Game Club’s part, having purchased it from the former developer. Let me know if this changes. I’d love to be wrong.

Amazing like bomberman and Mario!. This game is so amazing I almost thought I was playing a ds game it reminds me of bomberman if they put him in mario world Nintendo missed this game it's actually more fun than a Nintendo game and I'm a Nintendo maniac!

Amazing. I loved Paper Monsters. I got it when I was six years old. It was so fun and addictive. But now a there is a monthly subscription you need to play this game. I have Paper Monsters: Recut, which is pretty much the same thing as this game. It has eye-catching graphics, addictive gameplay, and fun boss levels. If you are a gamer, you should get this game.

Update needed. I played this game when i was younger and i LOVED IT but now it’s saying i cant get it because the developer needs to update the game. PLEASE UPDATE IT, that would make me soooo happy.

GameClub ruined it. I love this game but GameClub ruined the entire experience. Remember when really liking the mini games but know I can play them. And the worst part about GameClub is they didn’t add anything new.

Pretty, but.... Although it's a pretty-as-hell game (looks beautiful) I found it to be repetitive and ultimately boring. Maybe it's not my kind of game, but couldn't play it for more than 15 minutes before getting bored to death.

yeah. I have mixed emotions on this one, very nice looking game, wasnt what i was expecting exactly, i wanted to be "Wowed" but it fell short of that. Maybe i gotta give it some more time, but for the price im sure you cant go wrong.

Excellent. I really wanted to hate this game because of all the hype and cutesy cliched look, but I can't. It's just too good ... the soundtrack is good, the gameplay is excellent, the controls are well thought out, the IAP that is has is really just an add on for cosmetics, it has nice surprises on each level, the list goes on. Just spend the dollar, it's worth ten times that.

Infuriating. Personally,I think this game was very annoying and challenging. I enjoyed the game at the start, but it takes quite a While To load up, and I soon got impatient when I died and the game took a long time to load up. Papermonsters. This game is pretty fun with diferent levels it challenges your mind to think infinite and beyond I just love collecting gold buttons and buying new outfits i recommend this game people 9-24 years of age trust me your 99c is well worth love this game.

Fun…for a minute…then ZZZZZ!. This game consists of walking across a 2D platform and collecting tokens, jumping on platforms and enemies, and little else. The concept is very old and tiresome. When you've played games like "Where's my water?" games like this just don't measure up. It may keep a 3 year old amused but anyone else will be quickly bored.

Paper Monsters. A great, enjoyable game. On the iPod 5th gen there's this little glitchy looking white bar on the bottom of the screen though, which is quite annoying and would be nice if it was fixed. That aside, I'd recommend this game to anyone who enjoys Mario bros or anything along those lines.

Good. I prefer the classic controls selectable in the pause menu, the virtual joystick seems to make fine movements more difficult. Also clearly optimized for the latest hardware. It's playable on a 3GS but only just. Anything less, forget it. And the biggest failing is the instant game over for falling off the screen. Harsh! Otherwise it's one of the better platformers out there with great style.

Just read the review people!. Ok I'm not going to be positive or negative I'm going to suggest something. Ok I love this app but it's always lagging and when I play the game it takes a long time to load. You could say that it is faster on an iPod while charging (True) but on one level I always get stuck when I'm jumping and die 😓 I love this app to, it's pretty good. Well I also suggest you make more levels! I've done all of them and I'm bored! I hope you will consider with my suggestions. 😳💜💗

GameClub. I wish you could just buy this app for a couple bucks because this is the only GameClub game I want. I don’t want to pay 7.99 a month for a bunch of apps I won’t ever play. Also I never knew this app cost money because when I was a kid and I played this it never cost money. Thank you 😊

A little bug but very fun. The boss in chapter4, when I jump on the button of the gun, I always game over. I don't know why. But this game is really fun. It's like Little big planet+Mario. I'll wait for your next update.

Not bad... Good for kids. Nice graphics and bloodless gameplay make this a good game for kids. However a lack of challenge, simplistic gameplay and the lack of bringing anything new to the platform table means that it's hard pressed to keep the attention of anyone over the age of 12.

Hmmm, waiting for the wow factor.. Considering all the rave reviews, not what I was expecting by a long shot. Nice enough app and correctly priced, but its nothing out of the ordinary. There are other similar games the kids prefer over this one.

Let down by controls. The graphics are great but the little on screen joystick thing is small and hard to use. It really let's down the game

A nice presentation for a bad game. Having played almost every Mario platform game since the NES and loved Little Big Planet, this game is really badly designed. Controls are good, graphics are excellent. Level design is atrocious. I see why they asked me to rate it after the first level, it was the only one that was any good. Glad I waited. If there is a game I have bought I wish I hadn't, it's this.

Not Good. Ok for starters this app lags horribly and on my ipod second gen I can't even get past some of the levels because it always crashes!!! I only did the first two levels and then it won't let me go any futher because all the remaining levels are locked until I finish the one that crashes!!! Not worth the money!!!! Maybe if they fix the crashes I will rate it better SAVE THE MONEY!!!!

Crashing. In the halloween part of the game the very last level crashes continually before you're able to finish it if the bugs wee fixed this would be a great game.

Beaufiful!. The design is lovely, and adorable, is creative, and I just love it! The game is a little tricky, but it just makes me tempted to play a little more ;] it wouod be cool if there was a separate world, in the same app, that let's you just explore the place :] and you don't die :p. 5 Stars!!

Child hood clasic. This game is a game I have come back to after seeing it on my old iPad from 8-9 years ago when the game first came out and oh my god am I living it it's all nostalgic when I got this game I was about 6-5 years old I am 15 years old now and still loving it I would totally recommend this game to anyone who likes games full stop this app is part of the og appstore when the apps were good but this this right here is phenomenal I would give it more stars if I could (also it's well worth making an account for even if your not paying for a subscription the adds are worthit although it's odd seeing adds on there that aren't cookie run or the new angry birds)

Problem. I was really looking forward to playing this game until I went to the menu screen and choose a level and then it went back to the iPod menu screen. This happened every time I've tried to play! Also I got the game when it was free, if I accidentally deleted it would I have to pay for it again???

Don't buy for 3GS. They should specify compatible iphone versions, gets a lot of lag on the 3GS to the point where you're dying because it keeps freezing, decent game otherwise, but nothing amazing. Well worth the 99c if you've got the hardware to run it smoothly.

Nice Visuals, Fun and Simple. Great Game, Great Visuals! Music/Sound gets really annoying! Instant Game Over after falling should be fixed, especially when you lose all your gold paperclips with it! But overall nice platformer!

Need more "proper" levels. Well, finished the main game and have tried out the new level pack.. Seems ok but please make some more "proper" levels, which could some how continue on from the 16 original levels.. Perhaps introduce new bad guys or something to breathe more life into this game.

Very Good. This is a very good game, and I've been looking for a game like this for awhile now. The controls at first may be a bit difficult, but if you change it to the control pad mode, I find it MUCH better. Overall a fun game that doesn't have you under the pressure of time. Like the costumes too!

Awesome. To put it bluntly... It's an explosion of cute and fun! Worth the 0.99$ I would even pay 2.99$ for it (if it had more levels)

Pretty. Good. Nothing like LBP.. Graphics are beautiful. Soundtrack becomes redundant. Gameplay is as good as it can be on a mobile device. In my opinion, games like this suffer terribly because of the lack of joysticks and buttons that can actually be felt. I lose many lives because I forget where my thumb is on the screen. Lastly, I don't know why this game gets so many LBP comparisons… levels aren't editable and isn't that what LBP is built around? If mobile devices had joysticks, if levels could be edited or created, and if the soundtrack didn't become so repetitive, I would give this game five stars.

Good idea, but not well implemented. This game tries to merge Little Big Planet and Super Mario mechanics. It falls short on both. The controls are too floaty, and collision detection is flaky to the point of being damaged inexplicably, or stuck enough to require restarting the level.

Lots of fun. This game is what it is....pure and simple fun. Most casual games get it wrong with the difficulty but this is perfect. Graphics and controls are great! I only wish it was longer despite having 16 levels and 7 bonus stages....

Great Game, Level 6 Crashes. The title says it all

Good with potential. Good game and lots of fun. Optional controls are a lot easier to use than the one that comes stock. There are a lot of areas that one can walk through that you shouldn't. The main problem I have is it REALLY stutters on my iPod touch which is a real 3G (32gig) makes it hard to time jumps and I get randomly hit in 4th area because I can't see the fireballs coming. Also worked my way to level 4-2, kept working at it to get all paper clips only to not be able to make it to the last pipe because I was not turned into the flying ladybug box thing. Pretty annoying to deal with everything and not be able to pass the level. I will raise the ratings when they update, which I am sure they will. Overall for a buck, good value but recommended with hesitance, again if they fix then no brainier.

Crash. Its a good game, but every time I go to the shop it crashes

Bad Controls. Pros: Art style is charming, sounds are just right and the level design is fun. Cons: Controls. Both sets are bad. Standard joystick just doesn't feel natural and the touchpad is too small. Also, just a small gripe, but the character is a bit too 'floaty' feeling. Seems like it should have a tad more weight. Verdict: I was waiting for this game and wanted to like it. It is quite good, but the controls really hamper my experience to the point of frustration. All of my deaths were because of the contols not working intuitively. Note to developer: Increase the size of the touchpad. Look at iOS platformers that do onscreen contols correctly: Robot Wants Kitty, League of Evil, Mos Speedrun. Thanks.

The update is only good for some. The controls on this game are very frustrating. I feel like half of the time the left control, the one that moves the character, doesn't work. I seem to die a lot because even though I am using the movement control it doesn't resond and I end up falling to my death. I was very excited when I saw that there would be new levels with the update, but I can't play them because I haven't completed the rest of the levels. I have been trying but am stuck on the second to last level. If they made the bonus Valentines levels available to everyone and then maybe I would rate this higher.

Great game. Great game, I have really enjoyed this. The only comment is I'm on the final level of the ruins level and the timing on the scrolling is not good and makes the level extremely difficult. I'd also like to be able to cut out the scene with the bosses in this level as i've now watched it more times than I care to admit and still haven't even come close to passing this level. The difficulty of this seems incongruous with the rest of the game. Overall, I still can't wait for more adventures!

Where are my buttons?!. This game is by far the best side scrolling Mario-like game I've played on iOS. The controls feel great! The pace and difficulty are on point! Well worth a buck! BUT... I'm having an issue. Every time I close the app, my gold buttons reset to zero! My place in the game along with the corresponding paper clips get saved but no buttons! Also the things I buy with the buttons are gone, so my character resets to his boring plain original outfit. Hopefully this gets fixed in the next update so I can give it a higher rating. Also, I wish there were cooler things to customize the character with. The outfits on there are pretty weak, but that's just my taste.

Lots of little glitches. I'm not sure why others are complaining about the controls as I had no problems whatsoever. But the loading of levels, random "skips" in the gameplay, etc. makes me think this game needs a serious update. I feel like I've paid to be a beta-tester, but the 99 cent asking price for what you get is pretty fair. (using iPad 2 which has plenty of horsepower). Honestly, I'd love to see Paper Monsters extend a bit further. The 4 worlds/ 4 levels each 16 total was really short. Great Platformers like Soosiz had higher difficulty and a great deal of gameplay. If the devs would work create a smooth paper monsters experience with higher difficulty, and 8 worlds/levels 64 total, I'd be willing to shell out 4.99 for it. Excellent concepts here, just not executed as well as they could be.

Nice game but..... I find this to be a beautiful, well designed game that I enjoy playing. I love the aesthetics and music. But I have experienced several bugs and glitches that keeps it from being completely smooth gameplay. I will keep playing and waiting for an update to iron out the wrinkles. The one suggestion I'd make is to make the items purchased in the dressing room worth more than just looks and give our little box boy some special protections or powers.

Great game. I really like this game, it is a steal for $0.99. Easily worth $10. The value for what you get, alone, earns it a five star rating. I have one gripe, though. I would like an "easy" or "casual" version with more hearts/lives. Kids, or slightly inept people like me, could use it. Right now I am on the last boss, and I've tried to beat him a couple dozen times, but haven't succeeded. Being stuck on a level like this can turn what was a fun distraction into utter frustration. I'm sure other people would like the challenge of a more difficult version, too.

Floaty Controls and Poor Level Design. If not for the $.99 price, the floaty gameplay, unresponsive controls, and poor level design would make this a real disappointment. Everything about the game feels unfinished, from the opening video that doesn't respond to volume controls (iPad 1) to tutorials that don't show up until after you've figured out how to perform an action. The level design is overly sparse and derivative (ex. Big open areas that end in zone-warping sewer pipes followed by… spotted mushrooms). What makes the game lovely is the art direction, which is well done. The paper monsters are genuinely odd and you WANT to stomp on them for being so weirdly aggressive looking. The use of 3D and perspective is nice, taking cues from other "Paper" titles. If they updated the app and really pushed the art style in their own unique direction, they could have a winner on their hands. Right now… it's not bad for $.99.

Awesome, but needs more. This game is amazing. The controls are good, and the retina display graphics on the iPad are great. This game could Really benefit from a level editor, as there are only 12 levels, and 4 boss levels, without the additional area and drag'n'dash. Also, if the player could access through tilting or using another control stick, the drivers for the head and arm movement would be way cool. Add maybe the ability to access the costume changing from a button in the corner of the screen while playing a level would be good as well, and maybe have every 25 silver buttons equal 1 gold button. Also, another small suggestion, add animations and retina display support to the loading screen, maybe the LOADING letters bulge and have the blue glow spin. And finally, make the story select (for paper land, drag'n'dash, etc.) have the icons look more drawn, like in the intro. Would be 5 stars but as of now the game has little replay value because of missing features

A very entertaining game for anyone. I bought this due to the reviews and I was not disappointed. This is a very fun, entertaining game that can be played anytime and by anyone. I highly recommend this game if you are looking for something to pass the time and have fun with. The graphics are excellent and while the controls took a bit to get accustomed to, are easy to use. Definitely recommend this game.

Great platformer!!!. Ok, this game is pretty great. If you've ever been a fan of the olds school non 3d Mario's, you're going to like this game. I love the style of the baddies, almost origami looking. Also the ability to choose between the two styles of d-pad was great, as the default style kept getting me killed. Only thing I would like to add/fix: more power ups!! And the ability to wear more than one item at a time, like sunglasses with a Viking helmet. I know this is pretty cosmetic, which is why it still got 5✨. Great game!!!

Like Little Big Planet. iOS platforming can be suspect due to the lack of physical buttons, but this game gets it right with its virtual joystick that centers itself wherever you lay down your finger. In this manner, lifting your finger leads to no worry of not landing back on an exact part of the screen. This is a good solution that improves game play, but the style of game play is still more Little Big Planet than Super Mario like I would prefer. Level design is good, not great, and game is too short to be 5 stars. I would rather pay a buck more for something like Sworigo, but this game looks great and would probably be more attractive to kids.

I first got this game back in 2016 and it was awesome and I really loved it and I have been trying to get it back again but first I could only find that other dark version or whatever and last time I tried that I couldn’t do anything now today I found the original full game and I was super excited but when I got it there was all this stuff about joining a club or something 😥 all I wanted is to play on game NOT sign up for a membership plan to play a bunch of different games, this is a mobile game but something like that kind of stuff belongs on a computer😠 and now I only have a choice of ether doing one month free or using the free tokens to play for 5 minutes, 5 MINUTES 🤨 r u serious and u only get two, TWO!! So I tried it and it’s really not good when your battling and the timer runs out and your being attacked and u can’t go back. Y can’t you just make it so there’s a version that you can play normally without all the perks this is unnecessary and I’m very disappointed 😒🙁😠. U can only play for 5 minutes HOW MUCH are u going to get done on a game like this in 5 minutes. Looks great, Solid Overall. Paper Monsters looks great. No doubt about that. Fluid animations, nice character models. The core of the game is also solid and very enjoyable. This game does nothing new in the genre but what it does offer is very well done. Minor bugs aside (like missing Gold Paper Clips in boss levels and seemingly useless check points because they don't save you're collectables, lag in levels on my 4s) the overall all gameplay mechanic works well. The boss levels are a nice variation also. I hope they up their game level difficulty soon and shake up the level design. This game is gorgeous but pretty straightforward and never overly challenging. Some may find it boring or unoriginal. Perfect platformer for the casual gamer or anyone new to iPhone platform games. For a buck it's a value, I hope they capitalize on the potential this title has. Currently it feels like a polished beta or a demo, I hope they drive the game experience forward soon!

Awesome Game. This is a really good game: Paper Mario with a little Legend of Zelda. The paper and cardboard effects and graphics are excellent. Also, the paper clips are usually hidden (sometimes, they are embarrassingly hidden). The Adventure Cards are really hidden most of the time (in Level 1, it showed you). The customizing area is brilliant. This is also a game where you don't need to buy in-game purchases which are usually horrible (not including Angry Birds), the golden buttons are just in the game. The opening cut scene has the perfect narrator. This game has the perfect story. It's also been App of the Day (or was it week?), which was how I was introduced to it. It is totally worth the 99 cents, so come on, what's there not to like about this game?

amazing... Sort of. This is the best game I had ever purchased! It's probably worth triple the price! The graphics are amazing, and it isn't that hard to get golden buttons. Each level is challenging, but not too difficult. I can't wait for more levels to come! Edit: minus two stars. Why? I'm stuck on a level, tried for an hour, died 37 (probably a little more) times, and still didn't pass it. It's the level before the last. Do you know how frustrated I got??? You probably never experienced my anger and unhappiness through this. Perhaps I should lower my score to 2 stars!

Fantastic fun for anyone!. This game is great. One the whole family could enjoy, Or you could hog all to yourself. It is similar to the Mario brothers games in what you do, but the characters are unique. The " joystick " controller that comes on the game is a little hard to use and I found the "classic touchpad" controls to be much easier. This can be changed in the pause menu. Overall favorite game on my iPhone now. Hope that they create new chapters soon. So happy I purchased this app, could be worth more than the .99 :)

muy bien. el de un mucho bueno gamea. it is very creative and adventiurous. im glad that u made the update because i beat everything on it and now u gave me something to do and i beat punkin time too. but ya my favorite is the cowboy costume although i do like the subglasess but ya great game not too hard or easy snd i recommend this game . so thanks for the update guys and kepp updateing cause u have a good thing goin here abd ya a great game and i dont care what other people say, this is a great game. 😜😜😜😜😜thanks guys!! also u should make it socwe could biukd our own levels and make platforms and things, that would be AWESOME!!!!!!😜

A good start.... The game is really good but not yet great. The level difficulty seems a little uneven and the controls are decent but not as fluid and responsive as they could be. Another recent platformer, Jazz: Trump's Journey, has vastly superior handling and responsiveness. In addition, as someone else mentioned, if you hit a ceiling while jumping, you get forced down awkwardly. Basically, the platforming is not as fluid as it could be and the default controller is not the best (classic is better). However, the level design is clever, the graphics are charming, and the overall gameplay is fun. If they can refine the mechanics, this will be a top notch platformer.

Paper Monsters feels complete, a brilliant game!. This game is one of those rare games for iOS that you can play and it feels like there is really nothing missing. You don't play it and think about what "could" be in it. You just PLAY it. The idea is as old as the NES, and yet it is entirely new! I'm playing on my iPod Touch 4G and so far have had no crashes or anything. Kudos to C.M. Games, there best in a while! Well done, and I WILL be recommending this.

Great platformer. Looks like LittleBigPlanet, plays like a 2D Mario game. It has great graphics and the controls are near perfect for a game without physical controls. I would suggest trying the other control scheme in the options menu, it worked best for me. Definitely worth the asking price and the IAP aren't necessary to fully enjoy the game. I'm glad I bought this at release, I usually don't buy games when they first come out and I hardly ever give a 5 star review but this game deserves it.

Like mario? not really.. If mario was much more adorable and had the ability to double jump then yes. It is almost like mario. Jeez just because you jump on bad guys and move from left to right doesn't mean it is like mario. Anywho, the game is a very cute collaboration of jumping and collecting items to make your little adorable paper man even more adorable with hats and costumes. The game is very slow paced, so if you need time to just relax and play some games while not worrying sbout a thing, this may be the game for you. Try the free version of the game first, just remember the game itself if only a dollar, and I'd say it is worth it!

Needs Work!. I love this game... BUT..... It needs work. I keep falling into platforms. It does not run smoothly.. It's very glitchy. Sometimes I will be jumping and while in mid air the screen freezes. Also, in some areas I will be looking for the paper clip and get stuck inside something that I thought I could go in. If it wasn't for these things I would give this game five stars. It is a lot of fun and entertaining. Easy at first and becomes more difficult as you proceed through different chapters. In one of the "boss" levels, I couldn't find any paper clips.

Little Big Planet of the iOS. This is a very awesome game. The game looks great on my phone and I think it is a must need for the apple devices. Keep the updates coming though and add some more levels. One problem I noticed that is ver minuscule is every once In a while after I would fall to my death the screen would keep moving in the upward direction. I noticed this on the level where you turn into some kind of flying thing and the final boss level when you have to keep moving up. Other than that minor problem this game is insanely addictive and reminds me of little big planet-but for the iOS

Too good to be true.. This game is great! I don't believe that this game was bad at all. I am a 2nd generation iPod touch user, and this is one of the best purchases I've made this year. Sure, it's laggy at times, but all I do to make it faster is restart my iPod. But, you really should buy this game. It's like little big planet and super Mario bros together, with something extra. Take it from me, the game is worth the purchase, and don't listen to the haters, the game had lots of effort put into it.

Excellent, here's what's missing.... This game is GREAT, and it's the best 99 cents I've spent in the App Store recently. You can read the other reviews to find out the great things about it (if you love Mario, you'll like this game a lot), so here I'll just mention a couple of "negative" things for the developers... 1. The graphics are beautiful, but the frame rate (even on my iPad 2) is not as smooth as many other games. Fix this and you get 5 stars from me. 2. The controls sometimes are not too responsive. It is not the iPad's fault thought, but rather a software issue. When the character is in the air, is hard to control it sometimes. 3. Very few levels. I've played the games about 8 or 10 times for a total of maybe 2 hours over the past 2 days, and I'm already near the end... However, like I said, this is a GREAT game which I HIGHLY recommend. It might very well be the best platform game on iOS right now...

Gotta Gettit !!!. If you don't grab this one you are definitely missing out on the best game at the best deal ever! You get the total game for $.99... No tricky buy-ins. Actually just the opposite. You get an extra in-app game for free! And you can even earn coins to style-out your Box Guy. Or be like me and just buy up a bunch to sport a new outfit with each level! I have this game on all three of my devices and choose to play them separately savoring each level threefold! I'm hoping to stall off until more levels are available (Easter? How 'bout it guys?)! I actually have an easier time with the controls on my iPad, but it is amazing how well that tiny packed platformer works on the iPhone! Harder for sure. I say don't whine about the harder controls... Accept the challenge!! This is the most fantabulously fun game you'll find... A platformer ...OMG... $.99!!!

Super cute, but doesn't click. It is a super cute game, with super cute graphics but the gameplay boils down to a mediocre platformer with little originality, also it has pretty much no story line to offer. I still like it, but it doesn't. Really draw me in. I think, to make a pun, this was an idea that was much better on 'paper' than in practice. Super cute idea, but I think there is a lot of room for improvement. Also, the paper theme is so charming, but could have been played out much better in the caracter's gameplay and abilities. It's cool the hero is paper, but ultimately we just end up with abilities that are a copy of Mario....

Best!. This is my childhood!
