Great game but the sound is inbalanced!. I really like the game but after I updated recently, somehow the sound effects and the music of the game is unbalanced. I have my iPod touch 4 volume at a decent level and I barely here the music yet somehow I can hear the sound effects very loudly. Please fix this up, it's a good game.

Godly game. This is probably my favorite game. Everything about it has such a high quality! And I love how it still updates its content!!

TETRIS PARKOUR. I’ve always wanted to play a game where Tetris blocks fall from the sky and you have to dodge them. Unfortunately I could never find a game like that until I discovered this game! The only reason this is a 4/5 is because it’s one of those pay to complete games.

Great game. It is a very good and addicting game. Unlike a lot of my games, it doesn't glitch or lag

One of the best. I usually do not write reviews, but this game deserves it. I used to play this game all the time when I was little, and I still do because it's AWESOME!!

Wonderful entertainment. I've had this game for about a year now, and I've loved every minute of playing in this fictional universe where 8-bit heroes embark on the treacherous ascent towards safety. Endless entertaining, and wonderfully stylistic to boot.

For the win. We all know this is a great game and we all want all the characters so here half bot my honest rating is 5/5

Inspiring game. It was so amazing because it was so simple but I thought up like a million strategies.

THIS GAME HAZ SPACE LEMURS!. Seriously though, it does. You can play as a blue robot that can turn into a gun, you can play as a duck WITH guns! You can play as A DUAL LIGHTSABER WIELDING SITH LORD SPACE LEMUR. You can also die by falling ten feet onto blocks that have already been placed. This is a great game, with cool retro graphics, a simple goal, and a lot of replayability. The devs appear to still be adding gameplay features,which is impressive, because I got this game a while ago. But there is one issue I have with one of the game modes. Specifically, arcade mode. The floor rises up two fast, so the "towers" of blocks end up being only about four blocks tall. I prefer to have a bit more height to work with. All in all, a great game. Some would call it highly addictive, but I think I have a short attention span, so if you get me to play this game for one hour at a time is impressive. Nice job halfbot. P.S. Keep adding space lemurs.

Fun game. I don't have a lot of games on my phone but this is one of them. It is fun if you just need to pass a little time, I recommend it.

Classic iPhone game. This is one of the better games to come out of the app store. Fun graphics. Wish the controls were a little more responsive ala league of evil or other platformers but they are still right up there. Recent update for iOS 8 and the taller screen makes this an A+

Original. It's simple, climb on the blocks as they fall, but don't let them crush you. Great game.

One of the few greats of the AppStore. When I first saw the game I thought that "by halfbot" was part of the name..... Then I realize the game is by Halfbot.... I don't know how to feel about this.... My life is a lie!

Thank you... Now while I partially did this for the character I just wanted to give my thanks for this game. I have now owned three Apple devices; without fail this game is in each one. I have loved it from the start, and I hope to continue playing it until I finally get all the characters xD so once again; Thank you Halfbot for this amazing game.

Awesome game!. I love anything these guys create! Old school and awesome! This is one of the games I like to always keep on my phone. Love the soundtrack too! Old school baby! Old school! Get it! I bought the extra game mode for .99 just to give these guys some money so they can keep creating good games!

Probably still my favorite iOS game ever.... I don't know why it's so captivating, but more than a year later TBC still has my attention while other games have come and gone through my phone's screen. The addiction of climbing higher and higher and the need to go "just one more time" for a high score is unmatched. Such a simple concept and yet challenging, I hope everyone loves this game as much as I do. Thank you, Halfbot.

Intriguing. This game satisfies my urge to simply "game". When you don't want to start a story line and just play a low-pressure, fundamentally logical game, it is curiously satisfying

Halfbot Knows How It's Done. Despite there being so many new games that have amazing graphics or big names, this game still is among one of my favorite games and I just wanted to say how good Halfbot is for coming out with their amazing game.

Bam! One of the top iOS. Games of all time!!! Haven't played in a while and it's still refreshing to hop around and get higher than before. It's just a working piece of genius that is self containing. It will be a classic... no debating.

Great concept 4/5 execution. The game is fun to play but can be a little slow to start. The controls are a little bit awkward but they're not that bad in landscape.

Solid platformer but controls are pretty annoying. Solid pixel graphics, awesome music and fun (if slightly repetitive) gameplay is worth the 99 cents if you can overcome the poor button placement.

Judging by the cover. It might have an 8 bit appearance. But games were more addictive and challenging once upon a time. This reminds me of classic gaming in every respect. Especially the classic game/watch thing.

Fairly good. This game is simple, but at the same time pretty good. They've taken an idea which has been used before and added to it, such as the ability to destroy blocks and unlock able characters with different abilities. I think once more game modes and characters are released this game will be much better. (it was also a pretty good idea to make people write reviews for characters because they will always rate 5 stars because they do not care)

Cute game. Blocks is an excellent and well polished game. It's various modes are fun to play in and the collectible characters with their different statuses are entertaining to play with. A good recommendation if you are looking for something to buy your time with, again, thus is a very polished arcade game. Well done to the developers!

A fun little indie game.. A nice looking game that is both difficult while also being fun. The inclusion of characters such as Mr. Destructoid and Jim Sterling is a nice touch, and each unlockable character brings a new ability to the table that makes you change up the way you play.

Awesome. All features should be unlockable eventually!!! and money is easier way to get there

gr8. Fun and addictive.

The pace is a bit off. I rarely feel like the controls are the reason I screw up so it has that going for it. I don't feel like the different modes add all that much since the main mechanic doesn't change. I'd say that by the time the game start dropping blocks quickly I'm already bored and am hoping the blocks smash me soon. If I could "start" at a higher speed that would be nice.

I like it. This is a good game. I have spent a good amount of time on it but I hope there could be powers for the characters but you would have to unlock them

Blocks cometh. This is a well thought out tweak on the 'falling blocks to climb' game type (much like Avalanche, a good online flash game). It's very well polished and has some sweet features in different game modes. Pretty solid in its current build, hoping for additional content in future updates. __________________ Played it a bit more now, and although its unlikely anyone will see this, this game needs: • 4" retina support • Reimagined controls (adjustable location, less obtrusive, simpler and easier to use - the area of touch response needs to be larger, it is way too easy to miss a directional button) on screen d-pads work, but are far from ideal. This isn't an original game type, it would be good if you spent time perfecting it. • The time it takes to be crushed needs to be increased slightly. Just now I was killed by a block falling next to where I was standing. Blocks should only be able to kill you if they land directly on you. This games either needs more time to get away from blocks that have pinched you or needs to automatically realign the character away from the in between. Great game though, with those updates it would be perfect for me, so solid effort. Get it.

Fun game. Fun challenging game, the locked characters give you something to aspire to, the updates adding new characters also keeps me going back. Would be nice for an option to move the jump and shoot buttons to our liking though

One of the Best. My favorite iOS game at the moment. Possibly the best implementation of touch controls for a platformer I've come across on an iOS device so far. Great work, Halfbot! Looking forward to what you do next.

Great game but..... This is such a great game and should definitely not be missed but if you are playing it on the iPad the controls may annoy you when you start playing. Because the left and right buttons are so close tOgether you will usually press left instead of right. There is a tilt option but the sensitivity is a bit to high for me. I'm sure you could turn it down if you wanted some how

Okay game. Not really worth the money

Fun, but my thumb hurts. I would just like to say: awesome graphics. The d-pad is really cramped, so unfortunately I'm going to give this one a pass controls are improved. Which is a shame, because I really like the game. It would be nice if there was a widescreen view which would give you more room for the controls. You might need a different leader board for that, as it would change the dynamics of the game considerably (less warning of falling blocks and wider area). I tried the tilt mode, but the left-right swinging motion didn't work for me. How about using a lateral roll like in Doodle Jump, as opposed to swinging the device left and right?

Simple and fun -like a lot of good games. The blocks cometh is a platformer which goes right back to basics, just an endless rain of blocks which the player must jump on to get as high as possible! Great fun, and especially with a new update which adds many new characters and some new modes. Definitely worth your time and money!

My review. I give this game a rating of 4/5 because it is really frustrating to jump and to jump onto of the blocks, but either I like this game because it's fun teehee :)

Really fun. Really fun easy controls, simple goal with unlimited replay ability. Lots on unlocks means you always feel like you're gonna get something new with each play.
