Fun game but.... If you could stop the song from restarting at the beginning of every segment, it would make such a huge difference

Don't listen to bad reviews. Once used to controls. They're perfect. So fun and entertaining and tons of replay value. Definitely buy it

Not the worst game I've played. Controls are fine if touchy but the learning curve is out if control. Super frustrating falling off the level constantly. Graphics are cool though. Enjoyed it for free but will delete before I sync again so I don't have to delete it from my pc

Good, but needs more modes and iPad support. Fun game, but it needs more modes. For instance, I'd like to see a mode where the fuel gauge is disabled so that we don't have to worry about picking up cans, that way we can just concentrate on the time and taking the corners how we want. Would be fantastic if this was optimized for the iPad too. Please add this! I'll give it five stars if you can add stuff like this.

Cool little game. I like the silly graphics. The game has a certain appeal to it. The controls are a little difficult but they're no harder than the games from the era that this game evokes. The maps have variety and the game has some very nice touches in execution. Give it a shot.

Awesome game.... This game is just awesome. At first i was thinking " what a waste of money" but after playing it a while im finding myself more and more addicted to it. The controls are good, game play awesome and challenging. The whole no guard rails just adds to the challenge and almost forces you to drive perfectly. Great time waster. Over all i give it a 4.5 out of 5

Not enough.. I got this on free app day but even then I had to delete it. The controls are as all the people say is awful. I think the worst part is that you blow up after hardly touching anything and you can fall off the track. And after you finish a track the "next race" button should be on the right. It's a game that feels it's 70% done. Cool idea though.

Fun x a million. Once you've mastered the controls, this baby is addictive. Almost becomes a game of memory as every advancement yields additional sections. I've learned that my memory caps out at about level 19, and I keep coming back for more. Good job, nocanwin.

GREAT GAME!!, This is pick up and play done right.. This game is as great as I thought it would be. The controls, music and graphics all work flawlessly. I like the way you use the touch to make a 45 degree turn, it fits the game perfectly. Thanks for making an excellent game that is fun for a long play or short bursts. This is a game that when you play you know the Dev cares about the game, it is that well made. The Dev. is also on the TA forums and is taking thoughts about the game from those who play it. These are the Devs we need to support and it is easy to do so with a great game like this.

Should add multiplayer. It's a awesome game never gets boring and it's fun but to complete the perfection of this app they should add a multiplayer so u can race with friends.

Simple, Addictive and Challenging. This game is easy and hard all at the same time. The controls are simple and out of the way. Its a lot of fun drifting the little car, but provides enough challenge to keep it interesting. The tracks start of simple but can prove to be a challenge the further you go. There is a lot of variation between tracks and the more you play, the better it gets. It is a great game to pick up and play for a couple minutes and then put back down again. I have played a couple nocanwin games, and they just keep getting better! Keep it up. If I had a criticism it would be to put a quick help screen when the games loads, The first couple laps I was avoiding the yellow gas cans thinking they would make you loose gas or something like that, it wasn't until I accidentally hit one that I realized they were a boost! Overall, Full five stars for this game!

Very simple and fun. I started to grow very fond of this game. Given it's very hard to get used to the sliding of your car but honestly without that the game would be too easy to play. So I think that makes the game more challenging. I like the overall styling of the game being it all 8bit and such. I like the design of the car and the animations of the car when you ram into objects on the track. The only reason I gave this game a 4 rather than a solid 5 stars is because this game is VERY HARD. No game is perfect there's always going to be a flaw somewhere but I still love it.

A good start but.... - Wish the view was zoomed back a bit. - Controls are too hard for a view that requires fast reaction time...especially since the levels are randomized. - Option to reduce respawn time (ie 3 secs to 1 sec) A great start though. ;)

Need level builder. I got this when its free, it's a realy fun game, but it would be a WAY better game if you could build levels for other people (and yourself) to try.

Great game. I don't know wether to ask for new features or beg for a new game. I love the way the var looks so of course I want to see more cars. Like others have said how bout a race mode, Bluetooth/wifi, and different difficulties. Oh and please add tilt and steeringwheel instead of arrows. Worth the money as is!!

Finicky controls!. There are no guardrails, and your car goes flying out of control easily, so it means you wind up going super slow. I hope you like the first 20 seconds of the music track too, because it starts over when you start a new race...which is often. With something to keep cars on the track, this game could have been fun. As it is, it almost feels less like racing and more like super monkey ball.

The original CRR!. Jared's released a few games in the CRR series now, but this one is still my favorite. Great control, retro graphics and tunes by 8 Bit Weapon? What's not to like?

Challenging and fun endless retro racer. Totally love this game. I was a little nervous about how the controls would handle after reading so many reviews about them being difficult, but I have found that its not too hard to get a feel for them. While I am far from being a pro at this game, within a few plays I was competent enough to complete many races and start unlocking new track sections. I have a lot of practicing ahead to get great race times, but I am still able to make progress and have a great time while doing it and learning how to drive better. The graphics are fun to look at and a great throwback to older days while still being interesting to look at. A great little racer and worth every penny!

Redline is better. Jared, Your other Redline game is totally fun and visually delightful. However, this game is kind of disappointing. The vehicle response is clumsy, the graphics seem fuzzy, and the tracks aren't as fun. It's just not as good as Redline.

Crashing!. Game keeps on crashing on my iphone!!!

With improvements it would be perfect. If u could add stuff u could put on your car and make your car not die so fast it would be cool try to add it with an update

This is a classic style game. Very fun for short play. A little difficult. Not for kids.. I like this classic game style and perspective. The game remembers which track you left off on, you don't have to start from the beginning every time you start the game up. It's difficult to maneuver and I wouldn't recommend it for younger kids under 10. But, then again, it's been a long time since I was 10.

Great start, needs updates!. 1.The arrows on the bottom left of the screen are too close to eachother. 2.Add a race mode that lets you race two or three players. *3.Add a simplified editor mode that lets the player pick what sections are on the track and what order the player wants them to be in. 4.Remove the sheep sections off the game: they promote luck of timing rather than skill of coordination. "This is an awesome start to a game, but it feels empty. Without updates I'm afraid this game will die fast. I am writing this review to help you improve this game, so please do not take this review in a negative way." Listen to your customer's constructive critcism and your game will prosper.

The game just went to 11!. While initially very impressed w/ v1.1's Redline Mode...Sweet Baby Jesus, it doesn't hold a candle to the hidden mode (nor should you hold a candle to the back end of the hidden mode unless you're willing to risk a nasty flame thrower effect).

Great Game!. I think this one is much more fun than Redline. And it fits the iPhone 5 screen, but could better graphics.

Secret game. There's a secret game where you have no brakes and just go. When you're on the homescreen tap on the cows head on the right of the redline game bar

I loves it. I can't put my finger on why but I really like this game. I've never played the same level (tho I never play any app a ton) twice, the graphics are great for the concept, game play is smooth, and its very challenging. I like the concept of having to collect gas cans to keep going on longer stages adding to the difficulty since the car isn't the easiest thing to control (not that it should be in a rally). My only suggestions are to give the car the ability to drift like a rally car does and drop the price. I think it'd be more fun if the car drifted and make controlling the car in corners easier since it'd be more predictable. I also think $.99 is more of what the market expects for a game like this.

Level Creator. This is one of the best racing games I've played on my iPod. It would be so cool if you added a level creator so we could create our own courses! That would be super awesome!!!

Loving it + A few requests.. CRR is a blast to play, with randomized tracks (segments are unlocked with every new race finished), tight controls, and perfectly fitting retro visuals. This game kept me saying "One more try!" over and over again. Some additions I'd like: - Being able to see your replays - Build your own tracks (this would be amazing!) - More achievements - Unlockable rewards (change color of your car, paint jobs, different spectators, little things like that) Overall, a great release and worth the price for me already.

Spam. Game is crap. Had to sign up with my email and now I get hundreds of spam emails.

A unique ride.. This is a great title. It's retro graphic style is interesting, and there are plenty of tracks to race on. Though other reviews claim the games controls are bad, I disagree. I think that the controls ad a challenge to the game. I give this game a 4.5/5

Just a thought. The control scheme could be greatly benefited if you change the "left right" buttons into one slider. It would provide an almost identical experience but with more nuance and subtlety to the turning. With a slider the car could change directional gracefully and could lessen the learning curve.

Some people are confused about control. Everyone is saying "make It less sensitive when turning." but the way he designed the game is to TAP the steering buttons, the car only goes in eight different directions, like with a real 8 bit game. Releasing the gas is essentially braking, however for some reason when slowing down after a turn the car will wobble side to side. I understand that it's emulating a car shaking, but it sometimes causes the car to fall off an edge. I enjoy all three game modes (tapping the cow in the bottom right takes you to a fun non stop game), but I believe there IS some error with the friction on a turn. The car really does slide out of control despite most efforts to correct it. It took some getting used to simply tapping for steering, but once I realized how the game really worked it became very fun. The gas cans in the middle of a turn are almost impossible to get when sliding, rolling to a complete stop first seems always necessary, which is unnecessary. Otherwise, this is a tight, well made game, and I applaud you for it.

Love it. At first I didn't like the controls but now I'm addicted, iv probably played it for 15 hours already and it hasn't gotten boring

Try it out!!!. Don't listen to the people who say that this game is too hard. It may be at the beginning but after you master the controls, which won't take long, it is super fun. I am addicted to it. A one of a kind game! :)

/. Good game kinda. I get the retro feeling but the obstacles shouldn't kill the car I a single touch at a high speed. Like seriously, you guys have alot of work to do. Oh and the controls aren't that bad if u have gotten reckless racing. The controls are considered good compared to SpeedForge also. 

hard to master. It's pretty easy to pick up and play, but it's really, really hard to drive the car. It just doesn't feel right. Sometimes I'd turn too much or expect to slide around the corner. It's not really what I imagine. Also the isometric view kind of makes it a bit hard to process. I think a over-head view would be a superior gaming experience.

Well done. Polished graphics, fun game! Retina update?

Potential. Nice start. The game's visuals are what will/won't push you to keep playing. Turning is only done at 45 degree angles. Adding more of an analog steer and a tilt option would be nice. Not bad, but could use a few updates to polish it up.

Awesome.. I didn't know whether I should buy this game because I've seen a few reviews saying the controls are hard & stuff like that, but I decided to buy it anyways because it looked fun. I have had no trouble at all with the controls. It's a great game. Me & my younger cousins love it. If you're thinking about buying this game, you should. It's worth the 2 dollars.

Time for part two!!. Don't change ANYTHING!! just add more cars with different handling. A time trial mode against downloadable ghosts from other players. And more tracks... Maybe an editor... We are now waiting!

Tons of fun for a Rally fan. It's no WRC, but Cubed Rally brings that frantic you vs. the environment feel to a very playable portable game. As you progress the levels become longer and longer and it takes a combination of memorization and adaptability as you strive to navigate the various obsticles in your path. The challenges are pretty consistent though occasionally the random nature of the game gives some very challenging combinations. Overall an awesome game that constantly challenges you to get better and better. My only complaint is that some obsticles (such as the tunnel) feel a bit too touchy (too easy to die). One of my favorite games though. I love rally and most portable rally games are not very good. This pushes it more abstract and comes out a winner. Thanks!

Cubed Rally Racer. Great retro game, but the controls were difficult to get the hang of. The game would have fared much better if there was more forgiveness with the controls as they are very sensitive. Also, the car crashes on impact, no matter how slight. It might help users' learning curve to allow the car to have the occasional bump and nick rather than getting demolished at the slightest hit; additionally, the reset and subsequent meddlesome countdown at every restart prevents a quicker reset from happening for re-engagement back into the game. I just wished the devs updated the game since September 2010. This game would probably have some long-standing buzz if tweaks were made. But, at free (as of the time of this post), it's still worth a shot...

If RC Pro Am and Canabalt had a baby.... It would be this game. While it takes some time to get used to the controls, the gameplay shines through.

Impressive. A simple arcade game - get from start to finish without crashing or running out of fuel. The controls are simple but sensitive which makes this game hard and even more addictive. I hope the next update will include more sections, a level editor and some kind of multiplayer.

If you like Mario kart you will love this. This game is awesome! Just like Mario kart but a lot harder to control! Area to improve: longer track, play against computer (ghost car) or other player via Bluetooth

Cubicly challenging! . Fantastic game! Terribly addictive! Sensitive yet intuitively gratifying controls, fab graphics and the charm to tie the package together! Highly recommended! 

Just one more But don't be fooled when u have 3 fuel tanks in a row, cause a cow will be there waiting TO PRODUCERS (past this line) ---------------------------------- 1) multiplayer would be great 2) so would car customization 3) level editor would be the best

Not great now but has promise. I actually don't mind the cubed graphic style. But the falling of the map and 1 crash death ruin the playability. Could be worth another look after a few updates

Great quick fun. The perfect "I have 3 minutes spare game". I love it and have been playing it like crazy. I hope they keep upgrading and eventually add different coloured cars and extra stuff to make it just a tad more varied. How about a track editor on the iPad?

Controls? Bah who needs them right?. This isometric racer should Be tons of dun but the controls - ergh. They're far too sensitive for the physics system and game speed. Simple turns are a struggle and so the game is unplayable. The graphics and track generator are good but it's let down by poorly planned controls.

Okay. Fun for a while, but definitely needs more music tracks.

Amazing. The control scheme is probably going to be hard for people at first but stick with it! The car only moves in 8 directions which makes turning easy with a quick tap. Each track is randomly generated and yes, they're short, but they're meant to be. This isn't Colin McRae rally an I'm glad. Cubed Rally is simplicity perfection.

shows promise. I can only assume all the 5 star ratings are from friends if the developer. I'd probably give it a 2 but I've dropped that to 1 to even the score a bit. it's certainly not a 5 star game by any stretch if the immagination, and it's overpriced. the game is still rough around the edges, it lacks any real structure and the tracks are too short. it needs a co-pilot if some kind, like the arrows in powerdrive. with some work this could be a good game. I actually like the way the car handles and the style of the graphics.

Love it!. Great game! Later levels could get brutally challenging, but its all fun! Can't understand the people giving this game a low rating. Tracks too short? Just wait until the later levels! Little replayability? I could play Redline mode forever! Difficult or too sensitive controls? You're supposed to tap on them, not press and hold!! Thank you for making such a great game!

Challengingly Addicting. The game itself may be a bit bland and not the best graphics out there but it will get you hooked to have one last go after you lose, but then you keep trying over and over again until you get to the next section. The reason why the game is hard is that the controls are quite hard to master and you will keep sliding off the map and may be frustrating press the retry button over and over again, also in the way is lots of obstactles, I wouldn't recommend this for 2.49 ,but maybe for $1.19 just because its addicting, if its just the graphics, i only recommend it for free. Edit: When you double click the options button,you might 50% press the delete saved data button so you need a warning, this game doesnt have a delete save data button so i lost my openfeint stuff and my progress. Not happy :( Edit: I would like to see customizable car colours like the ipad version VS mode has split screen multiplayer and one car is red. Ipad price is same as iPhone. Icon of the game:

Way too frustrating!. If the track had 'walls' so you didn't go flying off into space every ten seconds, this might actually be fun to play!

CubedRRacer. 8-Bit Graphics in a rally game. The world is gonna end in 2012! good app. The key is to tap the buttons instead of holding them.

Addictive. Although there is a learning curve and much frustration from occasional falling from the track, the feeling of completing a track while getting all the gas tanks and pulling off smooth curves is all too satisfying. I mean, who completed all the levels in super Mario world on the first try?

Level creator pleas read. With this game you could go far with these simple yet fun graphics you could create a level editor so that no one will ever be board again! With the level editor you could make endless levels and if you could make a little place in the game where you could download levels that people published that would be grate. In the level editor you should be able to add trees and make the track or use a random generated one so you could make this game possibly the best one on the app store I would really like it if you did this it would be the opening to a good and maybe the best game on the app store. Pleas put what I sain into consideration... PLEAS

Get it while it's free!. Awesome, addicting, controls become awesome after a couple of rounds but overall made nicely!!!!!! Should get it before you have to pay for it!! And one suggestion is to add a mode where you can race a several computers that would make it so much better!!

Not worth $1.99. *sigh* I want to like this game, but it's nearly impossible to play as the contols are just awful. Seriously. Terrible. Loading is waaaaaaaay slow too, and the sound is subpar. Do yourself a favor: buy lilRacers instead - it's half the price, has way more features, and is actually fun to play. Without a significant update, I wont be playing this one again.

Not perfect, but fun.. This is indeed a pretty good game, with random sections to keep it from getting repetitive. Controls take some getting used to, until you find out that tapping is actually better than holding the arrows down. Overall, this is a good game to waste a couple of hours on in my opinion.

Has potential. Would have been a great game if... - make gas pedal contact area larger, my finger keeps slipping off. - remove running cows. Causing too many choke points. Tired of restarting. - most of all, add acelerometer steering.

Disappointing.. Terrible controls. Would be far better if you couldn't fall off the world and obstacles didn't instantly kill you.

Fun for a couple of games... But it loses its fun factor very fast due to the controls.. No subtle damage to the car...or better stated.. The cube with wheels. If you bump anything, three, cow, ground hog.... Or whatecer... the thing falls apart like a lego figure thrown against the wall. I did not find it playable past the first couple of games...

Good idea poor execution. Really want to like this game,it is a good idea but the controls or complete lack of control ruins the game. Make it less sensitive and add more guard rails so you don't fall over as easily. Until then only 2 stars.

Bad. Controls are horrid. Ruined the whole game

Controls = . Cool little game but the controls are horrible and their worthlessness is exasperated by the fact you can fall off the map and need gas to continue. In other words, you have to drive very careful because the controls are  so you don't fall off the stage and are able to get gas to continue - but you run out of gas in seconds because you are fighting the controls and trying not to fall off the stage! WTF?! Everything is against you!

컨셉은 좋았는데.... 게임성이 많이 부족하다. 박스 스타일의 캐릭터 디자인 하난 높이 사줄만 하다. 하지만 조작이 너무 까다로운데다 낭떠러지까지 있어 쉽게 게임을 포기하는 경우가 생긴다. 좀 더 디자인과 조작성을 쉽게 다듬고, 여러가지 성취조건을 포함한다면 좋은 게임이 되지 않을까 싶다.

Amazing. I don't see why people give this bad reviews. It fulfills what it was meant to be, a quick arcade racer, so of you want or expect something else then look to more complex games. This game has addictive gameplay, an amazing revived 8-bit art style, and almost a new track every time you play!
