Love it. Similar to a strobe tuner and has a graph to help represent the shape and/or quality of tone you are making. Not really a Fourier transform, but something like it.

Helix tuner. I am not sure what they want to accomplish here. I downloaded this app because they talked about just tuning vs. temperament tuning in youtube. However, my eyes get tired. It is weird and not easy to use. Is this supposed to be a toy. I just wasted $5.99. Worse than the free app.

Music is heavenly now.. You likely heard the adage, "it was like I took a blanket off my monitors". This tuner had the same effect on my guitar in the room. It's amazing what effect a tight tuning spec can have on complex chords, but the real test is hearing simple triads sound so sweet. The psychoacoustics actually come to mind (what did you just call me?) Helix tuner makes the popular clip on tuner sound... Well just saying well worth dealing with your phone. Automatic mode it's so simple. Just turn it on and forget it.

Best tuner on the App Store. Thanks you so much for providing this super accurate and well designed tuner! Maybe add „sweetened tunings“ as in-App purchases? That way users could support the ongoing development…

Incredible tuning accuracy. Gets my guitar perfectly in tune without any hassles or delays. One suggestion: it would be even better if it could go to landscape orientation, especially on an iPad. Thanks for a great app!

Very cool app. Super responsive support.. I love this app. The approach and implementation are simple yet deep. I leave the app open while playing and have been bouncing between Helix and Drone Tuners. This feels like more than a tuner.

Actually....better...?. Coming from a high action freak - this is the only “tuner” that gets me anywhere near this close to spot-on in tune across the fretboard. I don’t get how or why but it’s amazing. If this developer ever finds a way to get this pre-loaded onto a future Snark tuner or something through some sort of partnership, I’ll be first in line to buy. The only downside is that it’s on my phone and not a clip-on!

You think you’ll be using your eyes to tune? You’re wrong. Get an acoustic that’s out of tune, put your phone in front of you, start tuning. The visuals of this kind of allow you to half close your eyes to concentrate on the note pitch while being positively ‘guided’ to the correct pitch by a swathe of colour and movement. And I know it sounds like my headline title is contradicting what I’ve just said about ‘not using your eyes’ but here’s the thing, when I use this tuner it seems as though my ears get ‘positive reinforcement’ from the visuals so that they are actually doing more of the tuning now, far more quickly. I like this a lot.

Outstanding. Totally psychedelic, and by far the quickest and most intuitive way to tune anything from guitars to pianos. I also use it when practicing the saxophone since it provides immediate visual feedback. The only I'd wish for is quicker pitch tracking in automatic mode.
