What is firstnet assist app? FirstNet Assist provides all primary and extended primary first responders with support tools at their fingertips. This app provides access to Customer Care using multiple methods, as well as providing real-time self-diagnostics based on your device brand and model. In case your device is uplift-ready, the app allows you to request uplift from the field to any current uplift request within 50 miles radius of your current location. FirstNet Assist requires a login to the FirstNet portal.

The app is so bad. I dont know why there even is a app because once you download it and try and do anything on it, it just sends you to the web browser and takes forever to load. I don’t understand how AT&T/FirstNet is a billion company and it feels like they put zero effort in their app.

Horrendous!!. This is, by far, the worst app I have ever attempted using. I use the word “attempted” intentionally because the app only sometimes works. This is what we deal with as first responders?? This is supposed to be a perk?? What a joke. I can’t get their website to work half the time and the app usually never works. This looks like it was created in a Kindergarten classroom. I will be going back to Verizon for this reason alone. AT&T, keep your garbage. You should be ashamed to put such a horrendous “product” out.

Faces ID Needed. App works ok, but a little hard to navigate. The biggest problem, it needs Face ID to activate instead of having to remember a password. This is a must to be able to launch the app fast, after all this is usually needed when things are hectic.

It’s developing. The app is evolving over time they are making great leaps in developing it . It still has a couple hic-ups but it’s becoming respectable ..

Never can pay, no links work. The app just takes you to a webpage, and I can never “manage my bill.” I can’t ever pay online, I can’t even view a bill, I don’t even get a bill in the mail. FirstNet is truly frustrating, so I’m not surprised the app is the same.

Terrible Service App and Service. The customer service representatives don’t know anything. The app and the website won’t let you view your bills or even pay your bill. The sales associates at AT&T said the watch is $10/month, but the FirstNet sales representative said its $25/month. No one knows what’s going. My bill is almost triple what it usually is and the sales associates don’t know what’s going on, neither do the phone representatives. The app is useless. The website is useless. Any option you click, it takes you to a screen to “Upgrade your device”. AT&T messed up big time by releasing this service and app before setting anything up. It’s better to pay more and stay with AT&T then to switch to FirstNet.

Terrible customer service. This app doesn’t even work. I haven’t been able to login, “user ID is not active” for three years and people keep telling me to change my password. Your support is a joke and this app is useless. Three years and nothing. Thinking about going back to Verizon.

Just stick to business. It would be nice to be able to go into the app and pay my bill without being forced into participating in a survey. Speaking of app, needs some serious work.

Worthless app. I was able to log in only once and that was it. If you need to look up information about your account, it opens up a web browser page instead of the app and the app links take you nowhere. Total garbage. Shame on you AT&T and FirstNet for making a completely useless app. I am not surprised.

New version of app performs much better. I’ve used the app before and the new version is so much better than the earlier versions.

App is trash. The app is overall low budget it doesn't have any features like you would in the AT&T app which I don't understand why you can't just merge with them to make it easy for customers to pay and purchase items instead of having to open a browser link anytime you click on something!!!!

Worst app. By far the worst app to pay your bills. It doesn’t work half the time and just redirects to different internet sites. I think ATT hired a grade school intern to design this awful excuse for an app. You can tell how much effort they put into an app for first responders.

Horrible, made by AT&T nothing the same. Horrible, can’t pay bill on app or on line regular site often. App takes you to a site with multiple pages showing over each other and when you navigate that you still can’t make a payment. Just like the regular website. AT&T’s site is easy and great. Made by the same people? Can’t be

Step it up. The app could be more like the AT&T app, this app looks dated it is sluggish and you can’t see your account information like in other apps. The app could be better and should add ease of use such as paying your bill on it.

Please Fix The App. The app is terrible. I can’t even log on to pay the bill. Then when I call in the reps have never heard of firstnet. I’d like to see my installment plan as well. Simply put just fix the app or integrate it back into the ATT app.

Completely useless app. Customer service is never up, can’t pay my bill on it, can’t do anything on it. There is literally no point in having this app at all. It just takes up space and serves no real purpose

Lazy app. All this app does is open webpages. If those webpages ever load. This is horribly slow and clunky. Admin functions never load. This is supposed to be the ‘go to’ service for emergency response. But they can’t get it to work when it’s business as usual. I’m guessing at&t just threw this together to satisfy a requirement from the FirstNet authority and the contract, with no real intention of actually being useful or helpful to the end users.

Complete crap! Waist of storage space. This serves no purpose. When you open this App it immediately Opens your web browser to the first net site where you then log in and use your web browser for all transactions. Absolutely no point. Unless your too lazy to open it from your favorites.

No bill Access. If you can't access bills then the app is useless... soooo, this app is useless. It WILL direct you to the website where can also be disappointed by not having access to your bill... doublely useless. Actually more like useless squared... Useless to the Nth degree.

Feeling First Scam. They saw my hospital badge and thanked me for my service and then sold me a scam. This was just this week. Billing is messed up and given a second phone number and bill double what I was told. I’m going back for a face to face as this app is Sh^*. Haven’t seen one reply to these comments.

An APP that sends you to Safari. I want to write a manifesto pointing out all the deficiencies in this app but the chief complaint is how lazy the developers of this app are. A bunch of little buttons that leads you to safari instead of having the service within the app. I have been an AT&T costumer since they bought Cingular (for those that know…know 🥹) and I have never experienced such a low budget application. The fastest way to pay your bill is by calling because of all the steps you must do between the app and safari. Sad. Solution? Concentrate on the overall convenience for the customer. The regular AT&T app has all kinds of thing to check your account. Maybe mirror the app. This app just makes me think that I’m getting what I’m paying for…bleh.

FirstNet Assist….horrible app, useless. This app is horrible. It has ZERO interactive options. It’s simple a bunch of PDF references to parts of the app that do not exist. No way to manage your plan in any way. The only option is to go to the AT&T store or call customer service. Quite possibly the worst service support app. They would be better off not offering an app at all instead of throwing a half-baked app to market.

Horrible. We were encouraged to switch from another carrier due to my spouse and I both working in healthcare. After verifying our employers, I was told after 13 years in the dental field, I was not considered a healthcare worker. I would love for FirstNet to revisit the rankings that came out during the Covid outbreak – because my career was ranked the #1 most at risk profession in healthcare. Yet someone who just works the front desk at a hospital qualifies for the discount. It’s absurd. Now I’m stuck with a higher bill and I really wish I would’ve stayed with my previous carrier. Would never recommend FirstNet to anyone.

Poor App Functionality. I’m a first responder and it’s honestly the worse user experience for an app it’s a struggle to even manage to pay my bill because the website appears to have several issues I’m surprised they haven’t sorted this out yet since they are under the branch or AT&T.

Hopefully it works one day. I would have been better off sticking with AT&T. Not sure why they were so proud to “Support First Responders” considering they clearly care much less about FirstNet than they do AT&T. Would love this app if it would just work. Won’t even allow me to sign in even tho my information is correct. I can sign in to my account on the website, however I apparently do not exist on the app. I wish AT&T would just continue to take care of the FirstNet customers.

App has significantly improved. The performance of this app has really improved since the last version. That chat feature is now consistently available and it’s easier to use. I can easily access my account and pay my bill now!

App overhaul. The app is not very user friendly at all. It kicks you to a web base screen; after login to an app screen; and then becomes a nightmare. Need a serious revision for functionality of the ease-of-use and access more streamlined... When paying a bill it errors out every time. Developers involved need to be at the forefront to help responders as the regular AT&T app works better me writing about this one. It’s frustrating to know that a better solution is available but developers have not updated this to a more stable platform. I give it a zero star however forced to rate this until a revision comes out its not functional!

Need Biometrics For Sign In. App is getting better but really need FaceID and other biometrics to login in to app. Having to login every time just to view an alert isn’t efficient and could affect PS operations. Thanks.

Firstnet still can't make a working website. Can't view or pay your bill online, and this has been going on for as long as I've been with them. Get it together

Horrible. The app doesn’t let you do anything, you can’t look at or pay your bill! So then you’re required to call in and then get charged a fee to pay your bill!! The customer service agents are lazy and don’t know anything! Looking at getting rid of FirstNet all together!

NOOOO!!!!. Where do I start. This app is HORRIBLE!!! It never works. I can’t even log in to see anything. AT&T is WAY BETTER. The developers of this app are just plain PATHETICALLY LAZY!!! This is the main reason why I am going to switch back to AT&T. Firstnet need to focus on this app and make it better. I went on my laptop and guess what… yep…. Same dang thing. Slow, not responsive and utterly a pure waste of time. I had to leave Atleast (1) star but I really don’t want to. This app needs negative stars because I absolutely HATE CANT STAND DESPISE THIS stupid app!!! Have to call in to pay the bill. Don’t even bother with this app people.

Absolute Disappointment. By far one of the worse apps I’ve ever used. As soon as you log in it takes you directly to Safari as soon as you click on anything. The system is slow, doesn’t work half the time and basically requires you to sit on hold for hours at a time to change simple things that the most basic apps can do. It’s sad to see that this is the service that is provided for first responders and military.

Worthless….. This app is worthless for about 90% of users. The only thing it’s good for, half of the time, is redirecting you to web based sites. It seems there is nothing you can do directly from the app, granted I use it mostly for pay my bill. But as I stated before half the time I can’t even do that.

Worst App I’ve ever used. I, just like everyone enjoy being able to pay and manage my bills through my phone but this app makes it impossible! I usually have to try to login several times and keep refreshing the login page. Then, when it finally does log me in, I keep getting an error when I try to get to the pay my bill option. Never had these types of issues with my AT&T app

Worst app ever. This app is complete garbage! The crazy part is that it comes from AT&T…. Their normal mobile app is great, this one is awful! ATT you really dropped the ball with this app! Every time I try to pay my bill via the app, it usually requires a ton of reloading and refreshing and half of the time, that doesn’t even work! The cell service is great but the app is total garbage! Whoever built the att mobile app needs to get after the first net app!

Terrible Website and App. The website and app need major work. You can’t pay your bill and I’ve signed up for auto-pay several times and although it confirms it’s set up, I’ve been charged late fees. I want refunds for the late fees. The AT&T app performed better and so did their website. No problems for many years. If First Net is the infrastructure for emergencies WE ARE IN SERIOUS PROBLEMS. Refund my “late fees.”

Terrible. This might be the worst rollout I have ever seen. I had to go to the store 3 times just to activate my first net mobile account (after I was already approved and had a firstnet account). I’ve now had 4 calls with customer service and still can’t access my account info. It’s clear that att did absolutely no training for any of their customer service personnel or sales people. Only their most experienced people have the vaguest clue what is going on right now. That still doesn’t help. I hate this because firstnet is potentially an amazing service.

Not user friendly. This app is poorly designed. You have to go through hoops to see and pay your cellphone bill. Some days you can’t even see or pay your bill. It’s so frustrating. Do better!!

GET A BETTER APP!!!. You can’t see your Bill!!! I don’t understand what’s going on with this app!! Customer service doesn’t know!! I agree with the previous comment!! No notifications on your Bill..I can’t even pay my Bill. If it wasn’t for me inquiring about my bill, I wouldn’t of known when to pay it!!! I see why the app only has 1 & 1/2 stars.

Terrible interface. I don’t understand. If this is an At&t service why not allow the same site log in? If you want to keep FirstNet and AT&T subscribers separate at least keep the interfaces the same, especially if it’s a “how can we save the most amount of money by making the least user interface” scenario? You can’t just copy the same AT&T layout that’s already done and just change the logos to FirstNet?

Handy App. New version is easier to use. Now I can pay my bill.

Getting better but.... Better than the original app but not what it “should” be. The first thing users need to know is that you MUST HAVE a FirstNet compatible device and you MUST HAVE a FirstNet sim card. What worked when AT&T and FirstNet were the same system won’t work now. Your device may work but without a FirstNet sim it simply won’t work. Once you have compatible hardware this new app does offer a better interface with the website. For example I’m using an XR w/iOS 14 and a FirstNet sim and by using the app to access the website it has eliminated the error filled slow load I was getting before. Also this app interface streamlines access to specific functions like paying your bill. It bypasses the “rabbit hole” of links you get when you login directly through your browser. The biggest issue and/or problem with the app is that “Face ID” was not included (or made available) in this latest version. The app is getting better but it’s not quite where it should be. If the developers would add Face ID to login and “Pay Bill” button on the splash screen (1st screen after login) the app would be far better and useful. Additionally a check hardware and sim compatibility function at the download point would eliminate a lot of problems noted in the app ratings and reviews.

Clunky and malfunctioning. This app used to work, albeit poorly. Now it doesn’t even launch after entering login info. As in the “continue” button doesn’t turn active, so that you cannot get into the app to pay bills or check account status. Disappointing.

Useless app…. Just use internet browser. This app is beyond useless. Literally everything you click on takes you to the internet browser. There’s no reason for this app at all.

Terrible App. This app only allows you to shop for a new device and you are not able to review or pay your bill. Complete waste of time. The AT&T App was so much user friendly. It should be the same app!

Billing ?. They still haven’t fixed the billing issue. The app does not allow you to see your bills or pay them like it states. It prompts me to sign up for more lines when I go to manage my bill and doesn’t show my current line. I hope someone fixes these issues soon.

Pretty awful. I look at the reviews from one year ago and they are complaining about the same broken features that plague the app today. It’s pretty obvious AT&T doesn’t want to throw any money into making the app better. To do anything technical like pay a bill, it just switches you to safari where you get the typical AT&T rendering and redirect pages that breaks their websites.

Don’t do it!. First off….can’t view or pay bill on this app or even the website! They talked my husband into signing up for this crap. We would save money. Bill is $100 a month higher! This is just sad!

Horrible App and Website. Takes forever to load and constantly crashes over the year that I’ve been with them. Shocking that AT&T hasn’t addressed this or at least just allow us to pay everything through the AT&T app (when you have multiple lines on ATT but only one is First Net eligible they force you to pay them on separate apps). It’s insane

Chat or bill pay. You can see your payment that is due but cannot click on it to take you to att to pay for it. Just reopening the same page. Also the chat doesn’t work.

Terrible App. This is possibly the worst app experience I have ever had. It's like being on hold with the cable company trying to fix your bill while your dentist drunkenly gives you a root canal.

No Point?. I’m not sure the point of this app. All it does is launch various websites that are slow and unintuitive. Logs out all of the time so you have to waste time reauthenticating. Seems like minimum viable product just to say you have an app.

Worthless. This app is basically just a redirect to the main FirstNet Website. I see no added functionality.

App doesn’t work. I don’t know what’s wrong with the app but it use to work and now I can’t log in anymore. I deleted the app and redownloaded it. But still no good. When I put in my username and password the continue button is not lite up to continue to the next page. This had been going on for several months. The developers obviously don’t care about us as customers. I always have to call the number to pay my bill.

App Crashes. This app crashes. I believe it’s not even compatible on the iPhone 14 Pro running iOS 16.1. Can’t even open it because it crashes automatically.

Terrible service. Refused to help me verify my account. Waited on hold for 2 hours on and off and ended up just being send to the beginning of the queue with no help. Send my ID in several times with additional documentation and they simply won’t help.

Terrible. Wow I’m ashamed with Whomever came up with this, I don’t want to say it was ATT, as I was with ATT fully before switching to FIRSTNET. I switched almost two years ago after getting notification for healthcare workers and a discount. I was advised service would exceed any other as we would be above all else in the event of disasters, emergencies etc. what a joke that was. My service is worse now. Then when I just upgraded and got a “FREE” watch based on the flyer through my employment - what another joke no where on the flyer did it indicate installments or what they started doing on my bill! I was being charged for my FREE watch each month told it takes 2-3 billing cycles for promotion. No there is no promotion or cycle the flyer said this so own it! Don’t lie- you shouldn’t be lying to what you put this service out for to begin with ie - police military, healthcare, emergency personnel etc! How we would be viewed if we all lied like this the way they do sucking us in to buy their service! Terrible terrible service! No one has answers - they get the number wrong to call me about an account they have the number on! My number for my account! And tell me the manager is going to call me this morning - still no call from the manager - what a surprise! Luckily I emailed my sales consultant who I should have from the start than messing with the chat - he applied my credits like that no questions asked since he knows! And here it is 1 pm still no call from manager! What a joke! Terrible service from certain areas in this company clearly - I stated I’m no where trying to be rude but if I’m unhappy and things are going wrong and misleading ya I’m going to say soemthing and as long as I kept being led wrong your going to bet I’m going to complain. And here we are continuing down that trail. My sales consultant has been terrific though - if your in New York - ask for Justin Fitzgerald! Phenomenal!

Decent Mobile Service, Awful App. App seems to work only about 5% of the time. Need to start from scratch.

Fancy pictures. Doesn’t do anything but just take up space on my phone. Doesn’t do billing, can’t connect chat support. I mean seriously??? At least a “hey guys sorry about this app! We have no idea what it’s supposed to do, but thanks for downloading”.

Not an App at all really. This app really isn’t even an app. It basically just routes you to an internet connection for everything you try to do. Recommendations: 1) allow fave recognition 2) make it function like a try app 3) increase the speed of the “app” to something faster than a dial-up connection

Embarrassment of an App. I can’t even access my billing information through the app, nor make any payments online?

Does Nothing. What is the use of having an app that does nothing? Integrate with AT&T’s app so that we can have useful choices such as paying the bill on the app.
