Gospel Library Comments & Reviews 2026

True. I took a little over two years to travel and I had a one goal in mind. I wanted to find a church that worshipped Jesus Christ with an undeniable passion. I will say I was a bit taken back. You see, I found that church. A body of individuals who are true believers. Individuals with an ability to believe that life continues. Life that transcends our human state and evolves into a divine spiritual one. I was already amazed with their passion for Jesus but then I realized something better. These people are the kindest, smartest, most beautiful hard working people have ever known. They are so truthfully kind. This Christian denomination did it the right way. They correctly adhered to the commandments of Christ. His two great commandments accompanied with lots and lots of love.

One suggestion. I love this app and it is the greatest tool to help us with quick access to the scriptures, General conference and all the manuals we could possibly need. I just have one suggestion. I think that a lot of us use this app for our scriptures, yet some of us might still be using the hard copies of the scriptures and we might be writing our impressions as insights in a study journal of sorts. Is there any way that we might be able to implement our notes we write on paper, can it be traversed into our notes in the app or can we at least take pictures and upload them to our personal notes? Either way. I love this app and I love the scriptures, mostly the book of Mormon.

Excellent Reference System. I love having this app to keep all my insights and notes organized with linking options and tagging options. I love to use it and the library is massive, everything I could ever want to look through in regards to LDS topics is there, especially the newest content released by the church, like general conference talks and worldwide devotionals. My one desire is to know if there is a way to sync my notes to different devices? I have an iPhone and an iPad and it would be awesome if we could link the app across the two so I can add things to my notes and tags on both of them. There may be a way to do it all ready, I just don’t know how, but if there is not, that is my one suggestion for the next update ;)

Help please. With the new update I can no longer open the app. I have tried on different days at different times, but I just get a white screen. I also tried deleting it and downloading it (twice) which seemed to work until I switched to look at a different app. When I tried to come back to gospel library it was again just a white screen. Not sure if there’s anything else that I could try or if other people might be having similar issues to mine... Also, I will always give the app a 5-star rating even when I have issues because when it is working it is one of the things that keeps me going and growing.

Audio Issues. I have had this app for years, updated regularly. I’m using this on iPhone. Listening to general conference talks is what I would like to use it for more than I do. It will not hold your place if you pause it for more than a few minutes. It also spontaneously stops and resets to the beginning of the talk every few minutes if you try to do the audio alone. It makes it mostly (but not quite entirely) useless for listening to conference talks. This has been a problem for at least the past five years. I still use it when I’m driving listen to talks but have to look down and find my place again every 5-10 min. (Not the safest thing and fairly annoying). Seems like they could have fixed this by now. Grateful that this app exists. They’ve clearly put a lot of thought into app development over the years but I think people would be a lot happier with fewer bells and whistles and just making sure basic functions actually function.

Thank you for pointing to Christ. The October ‘21 update brought lots of useful new features but the most meaningful change for me was changing the image for the widget. I love Joseph Smith but I just don’t need an image of him on my Home Screen— he isn’t the one I worship, and seeing that there just made me feel guilty about my struggles to engage with this year's study of the doctrine and covenants. I was delighted, and about a week later I continue to be overjoyed, when I open my Home Screen because it is a gentle and loving image of Christ there instead. Now when I see the Library app I am reminded of Christ’s love for me AND my desire to follow HIM. I cannot thank you enough for this update.

Keep Moving Upward!. This app has come amazingly far and gets better with every release. There are still some areas that I have come across which would make for a more incredible study experience. 1.The Study Plans are such a good idea! What they need is a bit more customization. For example, this morning when I was going to start one I was going to choose the book of Isaiah as the topic. It only let me go as far as he Old Testament and then went straight to choosing a time frame. This works great if someone wants to read the whole Old Testament, but otherwise the other option is more preferable. I can still choose the whole Old Testament, but I have the option to continue to specify. 2. It would be so useful and such a better experience to have support for the Apple Pencil and Google Pixelbook Pen so that instead of typing out notes there could be a section on tablet devices with larger screens where you could write your notes and have them directly attached to your scriptures. Right now I take notes in a separate app, which works quite well. However, the experience would be much more seamless and enjoyable if it was all contained within the Gospel library app. Thanks for doing great!

All good except listening. For years I’ve been using this app for listening to scriptures and conference talks and the glitches continue to abound. Please, please, please do something to make listening a smoother experience! I would like to listen to scriptures in my car on long drives without the app randomly stopping and not moving on to the next chapter. Lately, the app won’t play more than a single chapter at a time which makes it useless in the car, because it’s too dangerous for me to try and get the next chapter started while I’m driving. At the moment, I can’t get the app to play audio at all, and for no apparent reason. It just simply won’t play. I like to listen while I’m driving, exercising, cleaning, and other activities, but this app is making it impossible and I am so frustrated!

Not mad about some of the updates. I love the gospel app and I’ve used it since the get-go. But I’m not really stoked about some of these new things They’ve added. The home screen is a pain now. It just adds one more step that’s not needed. And I don’t want “verse of the day.” Meh. The worst thing is they at first took out where you could have on the right side when you were reading scriptures your own notes showing and the related stuff. But luckily they fixed that because it’s working suddenly. Phew! Please, please, keep that feature! It’s my favorite feature of the whole app. I love being able to write notes and access them quickly and see them on the side as I read my scriptures.

Forgot my password 😓. Haha didn’t have the energy to try and remember another password. And thought it was my old one but it didn’t work. Tried figuring it out and that didn’t work 😅 my phone number recognized me as my Great Uncle Dean and ANYWAYS my point was I was curious about some of the updates on the app. But because I couldn’t remember a password I wasn’t even able to just “explore” It made me think about visitors who are just curious maybe they heard about the “LDS community doing this” or so and so said that and they found their way towards this app and I don’t know maybe just like how we order food their’s a “guest user” But instead of “guest” it could be “visitor” just like what we have on our buildings 😁 Anyhoo had a moment of inspiration and was blocked by not remembering a dumb password. And I can’t help but think about my sister who tried exploring the website forever ago and she couldn’t find her answers (probably not the right time) but she’s very impatient and has since not tried to “explore” Not even sure if she has an account but if there was just a “visitor” option on the app maybe later she’ll try and explore once more 😁 I know my password is saved on my laptop but don’t have the energy at the moment to do all that. I just hope that moment won’t be lost forever.

Latest update 5.2.0. There seems to be a lot of problems with this version that I did not previously experience. It is now so incredibly slow loading and scrolling through scriptures. It is very difficult to highlight and tag verses. Scrolling and highlighting scriptures to add to my study notebooks is so incredibly frustrating with the new 5.2.0 update. It is just hard to even describe what it is doing now. Let’s say I want to highlight and tag several verses at once...the scriptures rock back and forth and will not let me target just the 3 to 5 verses I am trying to highlight and tag. Audio of the conference talks take a very long time to download. I have adequate space on my iPad but this new version just appears to have a lot of “bugs.” Before this update I gave it 5 stars.

Better than any other app. I use this app more than any other for my most important personal growth and intellectual development. I credit the titles enclosed with my ability to reason, learn, lift and love. Truth fills this app and helps me understand and act on the world around me with happiness and real effect. I recommend the study of the materials here to all who seek God and salvation. If the rating system had as many stars as heaven itself, I would include all of them. It is ever expanding and deepening with the knowledge of the Lord and and creator of this world and our savior Jesus Christ from sources ancient, current and will surely update with all future knowledge of Him from his ordained Prophets and ministers.

Wonderful content, but the “narrators” need to be fixed. First off, I love the content and quick access. I only have one issue, and it’s with the computer generated narrators, they need to be changed. I listen to the Book of Mormon while commuting, and when I cannot sit down and read. I am not sure why the narrators were changed to synthesized speech but the synthesis is not fluid and lacks proper inflections. Synthesized speech has been shown to reduce a persons ability to recall what was said (Ive noticed this with the new narration), this is due to people being used to normal human speech patterns and inflections, which a computer does not do. Synthesized speech is great for very short messages, not books. Luckily I still have a copy of the original narration from several years ago.

I love this app. I love everything about this app. I love being able to access scriptures and talks wherever I go. It’s so great. There is one feature I wish you had tho. I wish that when I made a selection of text there was an option to make it into a photo quote. Similar to the picture quotes you can share in to Book of Mormon app. Just have some basic picture selections and then some fonts and colors and allow us to make a simple picture that has the scripture or conference quote on it. It’s more visually appealing than screenshoting a page of scripture and making it your background or sharing it with a friend in need. Thanks for your time and I really hope to see this in the future.

Why does it take so long for Ensign audio?. March1: March Ensign audio is available but still no sign of February. Oh well. Time to move on. Latest: It's Feb 25 and the Feb Ensign audio is still not available on the app. It's been available online for weeks, but not here. Why? I've deleted the app and reinstalled 7-8 times hoping that might do it, but no luck. It seems like every month it takes at least a couple of weeks. Why? I even sent feedback through the app, but no response. There was an app update a week or so ago, so I was hoping it might be in the update, but I was again disappointed. Update: I finally deleted the app and reinstalled it. Now it seems to be working fine. I’m not sure how much data I’m going to have to download again. I shouldn’t have to go to so much trouble, but glad it’s working better. Update: Now I can’t get past the what’s new screen. 😡 Very unprofessional to have an update for an app used by so many people with so many errors. Initial review: I really want to give a high rating, but the latest update is a bust. Not only did I lose all my screens, but after restoring them and closing the app, they disappear when I reopen the app. I’ve tried restoring them a few times and the same thing happens every time I reopen the app. I don’t understand how so many bugs were not caught before the update and how it could take so long to fix. Please, please, please fix it.

The most recent update: awkward. The scripture library app has always been an incredible recourse and has had many awesome updates. The most recent update including a Home button that opens a side page with “quick links”, “quotes of the day” and “scriptures of the day” feels awkward. A home button should simply link to the library dashboard, where those secondary inclusions of quick links, quotes, and scriptures can still be housed. The home button and side page feel like an undesired middle man, causing unnecessary steps to be taken simply to get back to the library. Despite this relative step backwards in ui, the scripture library works well. Would still appreciate the ability to freely mark up scripture pages with the Apple Pencil or other tools.

Needs to keep improving!. I love how accessible it is and the design is very sleek and usable. There are a lot of bugs in this app, however. It crashes a lot. The link feature annoyingly doesn’t work very well (links don’t show up, they take you to the same page you just came from, etc). Switching between languages only works sometimes. To access the library in Spanish, I have to delete the language and then re-download it (otherwise it will show the only options available in that language (it happens with all Languages ) as only “manuals and callings.”). I will continue to use it because there is no better scripture/resource/conference app out there, but these issues should really be fixed!! Additionally, the “search” feature is better, but still inefficient. It would be nice if it used the same kind of search algorithm as Google

Disappointing Search Issues. I’ll leave my original review as it stands. I fixed the search results. When you type a search keyword, the results that pop up are as I stated: hymns, topical guide, and dictionary. However, if you tap on return, the true search completes. This pop up info is what has been introduced with this version. Changing app behavior like this is incredibly confusing. The release notes don’t even address this change in behavior. I find this change in search behavior more complicated and less intuitive than before because the new contextual shortcuts appear to be search results. I can’t be the only person confused by this change. ⁂ I don’t care about the GUI update. Search has either been severely hampered, or it’s broken. I have come to rely on the power of this app to find all references to a keyword in every downloaded document on my device. Now search only shows results for hymns, topical guide, and bible dictionary, or it shows results for articles not downloaded yet, but it shows NO RESULTS for scriptures. This is stepping us back over ten years, which is how long it’s been since I used the Topical Guide to find a scripture. Surely, search isn’t meant to be this useless now?

Love it! Have a suggestion!. I absolutely love this app. I have had it ever since I have had a phone. I love all the resources you can get with just a touch of a button. I have one suggestion: so my first language is Spanish and my second English. I usually read my scriptures in English to improve my speaking abilities. I have always had a hard time with the names of Cities and other words that we don’t use on a daily basis. So I think it would be a cool feature if, when you highlight a word or phrase that you don’t know, there would be an option to hear that word or phrase out loud instead of having to skip over the whole chapter to find how to say that one word. I think that would be a great tool to have if you are learning a language and you are using the scriptures to practice. ❤️

Love Content, wish it had CarPlay. I love the access to so much inspired content. I use this app every day. If it wan’t for the content I would have given it a 3. My two biggest frustrations are. 1) It has a lot of problems downloading the audio files. This has happened on all of my devices. We live in the country and I travel around the world and often don’t have a signal, so when it will not let me download offline content, I miss out. I drive a lot, and don’t always have a signal. I would love it to work with CarPlay. Needing to look at your phone to choose content or change it is not safe, so then I just listen to something ells. If it worked with your car stereo, it would be a huge upgrade, especially if you could download all content for offline use. Third, I wish all of my tabs would be synced between devices.

Worst Update. I never leave reviews, but I just need to communicate that I hate this update! (6.5.1) When redesigning the app to “focus on content rather than user interface”, it eliminated some of the most helpful and useful things about this app. I can read scriptures on paper or online- the point of the app was the user interface!! To get specific, when I updated it deleted all of my open tabs which it’s never done before. Something is broken with my search function so it only works about half the time, and that has been very frustrating. Worst of all it redesigned the Notebook so it only shows me previews of each saved verse and then I have to click on the preview to view the whole passage and then go back. That seems trivial, but it eliminates the ability to view verses side by side in my notebook or compare the notes that I made on each one easily. It also doesn’t let me highlight words anymore (on an iPhone) to easy look up the definition, within the Notebooks.I appreciate the thought, but the functional user interface is the entire point of the app!!

App is great but i don’t like the new home screen and it constantly crashes.. I wanted to adjust my review so I don’t discourage people from trying it. Issues aside, the app itself and all the content it gives you access to are amazing. You can cross-reference scriptures, conference talks, church magazines, hymns, and any other church published content. You can also create links and notes. I highly recommend giving it a try. Hopefully they are able to fix the sync \ crashing issues. Current Issues: The tiles on the new home screen are too big pushing most of the content down the screen and when I try to scroll below it, the app crashes. I’ve restarted, deleted and reinstalled and nothing fixes it. It still crashes when scrolling below the tiles. Tiles were the worst thing Microsoft ever did. please don’t follow their lead. Please give me the option for the old home screen. I use this every day for my scripture study but it is unusable right now. I’m on ipadOS 17.6.1 on a 12.9” 5th gen ipad.

Full screen works!. This is a great app for studying the scriptures and I use it a lot. I have been having a problem with the most recent update where while reading you can’t go full screen, leaving borders stuck on the screen. For me this makes it really hard to concentrate on the scriptures. This happens on both my phone and my ipad since the update and even the allow full screen option won’t do anything. This needs to change and I would really appreciate a response as to why this is happening or how to fix the bug. Edit: you can go full screen by double tapping. I didn’t read the update screen. 5 stars!

Quotes and scripture references on seminary glue in cards. I love the gospel library app. It makes studying and cross referencing so easy. I really like the way that the tags and notes section is organized. I am able to easily cross reference through topic with the tags and notes features. One thing I would like to see added is to be able to upload pictures of different quotes to your notes. I have many quotes and glue ins from many seminary teachers and others. I would like to be able to put pictures of these quotes in my notes so that I can have the additional insight and inspiration always at my fingertips. So far I have not been able to transfer the contents of these paper glue ins in a feasible way. I think allowing the uploading of pictures to the notes would be an excellent way to remedy this problem.

A Life-changing App!. This app is very well done and gets better all the time, especially with the recent addition of study plans. I use almost every feature of this app every day... being able to sit in the quiet of the morning and study with so many resources that I can cross-reference is incredibly enlightening! I sometimes wonder if my notes will overload the data capacity of the system... but it seems to do fine. I would like to see the ability for multiple copies of a book, such as the Book of Mormon. I’d like to read an unmarked version for different experiences and purposes. For example, I’d like to read a book and only highlight references to Christ, or for any other special purpose, but keep my original version with all its markups. A little more basic formatting and editing ability added to the note taking would be nice, but I still love what you have. Thank You for a truly life-changing App for me!!

Needs more stability. I’ve used this app for at least 10 years. And it’s obviously great for many reasons, the main one being the content it makes so easily available. But recently I’ve found myself wanting instead to just use a browser to read scriptures on the church website. I don’t understand what happened to the stability of the app that it had about 8 years ago. I have never had to program a huge app like this of course but I do have some programming knowledge and I swear there is a memory leak in this app. I have no other explanation for why the app takes up 4GB of space on my phone when inside the app itself it says I don’t even have a GB of downloads. Switching screens just doesn’t work either. It always forgets what part of the page I was on and goes back to where I was weeks ago. I wish I could downgrade to how the app uses to be years ago. Maybe I’ll just read online for now.

AUDIO IS NOW HORRENDOUS. The audio used to be fine with just one word pronounced very wrong. Now this female (sounds like a very bad AI) “reading” is as flat as a six year old learning to read—no pitch change or inflection. Normal-use words are pronounced wrong more than before, the worst of which is “Yea”. This is pronounced like the flat inflection of a gaming/TikToking teenager fobbing of their mom telling them to get off the phone and do their chore—“yeah yeah” Audible’s AI for children is better than this; pay the royalties!! Also for some indeterminable reason it will often start with the male voice and I’ll think “Okay I can just keep listening like this!” The next chapter the female eye is back on and I have to turn it off after two or three verses. The Church usually has far better quality than this, PLEASE find a human who can read English, or pay for FAR better AI!!!

21-Jul-19: Please reactivate version 4.4!. Current review (11-Aug-19): (Downgrading from three to two stars) I’m about to use my outside voice. PLEASE STOP SHUTTING DOWN THESE APPS ON IOS 9! Of note are Gospel Library and Member Tools (formerly LDS Tools). Something has happened at headquarters and these apps are no longer able to function on iOS 9. That means some of us are CRIPPLED unless we’re ready to shell out for new iPads and iPhones. My iPad 2 is one of my favorite devices and I am more than displeased that (a) I can not download CONFERENCE TALKS in iOS 9, and (b) Member Tools just plain don’t work anymore on iOS 9. PLEASE FIX! Previous review (21-Jul-19): Three stars is harsh, I know. But I still have and use iPad 2, iOS 9, for which version 4.4 was the last updated version of Gospel Library. In particular, I see that current conference talks (April 2019) are not present in this version of Gospel Library. I was notified that Saints Volume 2 is now available, but again, not available on version 4.4 of Gospel Library. As such, I am not expecting next year's study manuals for Sunday School, &c, to be available on version 4.4 of Gospel Library. My iPad 2, iOS 9, being my preferred electronic device, therefore, I have to consider Gospel Library v. 4.4 as not very useful - and expected to become even less useful by the end of the year. Not willing to run out and purchase yet another iPad, I'm thinking that three stars may be a bit generous...

Could we have layers of masks to highlight different perspectives?. Everytime the app is getting better. The more it can be like accordance Bible software where we could search for complex searches and graph results would be great. Also for the notes I look forward to it being a Apple pencil friendly experience. Like having multiple copies of the book of Mormon except you could have one base text and have different layers like they do with overlays in mapping or like Photoshop does. That way I could have one for teaching one for my historical insights one for themes and one for PDF that I could draw on and have a more natural experience then how apps that are not PDF have to have highlights be free foemed. Not sure if that's more sense. Thank you!

What happened to note?. Update: 2020. It seems every couple of years this app develops a bug and I lose everything—all notes scripture chains, markings, everything. I sync when prompted to do so but suddenly something happens. It appears to occur after some type of update. I haven’t been able to open app for over a month. I tap in iPad icon and it enlarges to larger church symbol. The 5 second later it minimizes and doesn’t open. 2016 I used the previous version for more than a year. Loved it! I updated to the new version to get access to manuals and magazines. And like a dummy ended up wiping out all my scripture cross references and notes I'd kept for YW Come Unto Me. AND the new version has no place for notes! So I'm going back to my paper scriptures so I can write in the margins. I'm heartbroken--I've lost a dear friend. (2015) Augh!!!! Here it is 2017 and it has happened again. Was sitting in gospel doctrine class following along in the lesson manual. Clicked link to section 121 and the section came up, but I couldn't scroll below verse 3 and I was stuck on the section and couldn't get back to the manual or move to anything else in the library. Had to delete the app and start over. Lost everything again.

The Most amazing app and Resource. I want to say that I’m still new to all this, and for always being a seeker of the lord and looking for source material on scripture and it being Cannon; I have to say that in all my years have I ever seen such an organized app for scripture and source material, videos, and you name it all in one! I’m so glad that the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is so organized and interested in the welfare of the world to put out such a complete and complex app out there for free! Thank you for sharing the tools ad resources in here to help me on my journey. I thank the Lord for thinking of us all. I thank the church for giving this to the world. Amen

Two steps forward, one step back. I’ve been using this app daily for about nine years. Over time I have noticed that every time some new functionality is added, old, good functionality is lost. Specifically disappointing is the following: 1. Many links to verses say that “content is not downloaded,” but it clearly is. I have tried deleted and redownloding the app, the links still don’t work. 2. Many links I have made to institute manuals no longer work. 3. When I tap on a highlight the notes attached to a verse used to stay in order. Now the order constantly changes, which means if I want to delete a note I’m never sure if I’m deleting the right one. 4. In the last update about 20% of all my notes were changed to a very unattractive font. That means I have to change literally hundreds of notes back to the original font. 5. There is no customer support. There is no one who will answer my concerns. I will be very interested to see whether anyone responds to this post. Why can’t you just leave well enough alone? This app could be so good. It really falls short of the mark. The sad thing is that I would have given it four starts about two years ago. It just gets worse and worse. Unfortunately, there’s no competition, and no incentive to create true excellence.

One star for attention. In the last few months my app has been struggling to open. I have to close it and try opening it many times and pause for 10 seconds to see if the blank white screen eventually fills in and it opens OR it crashes and I have to try again. This is frustrating as I need to open it at the start of class as a Sunday school and seminary teacher. Also, the search feature should not just be for exact wording but KEY words, so that different talks and scriptures related to those words (not only including directs quotes of your search) show in the search results. Also, there should be a way to search a specific category (or categories) BEFORE hitting search so it doesn’t have to load all 100,000,000,000 results before you narrow it down. Sometime I just want to search “commandments” in the Book of Mormon and conference talks not in all the gospel library content known to man.

Key features missing — bring them back!!!. Please bring back the browser-style back and forward buttons that used to be in version 4. Gospel library has so much incredible content — it is a lot like a browser. Being able to move back and forward through that content in the same manner as an internet browser is a critical feature!!! If you don’t bring those buttons back, then PLEASE at least activate a forward feature with a right swipe. Second, PLEASE restore the ability to make full screen an optional thing. I KNOW I am not the only person who inadvertently double taps and unwittingly activates the full screen feature. V 4 used to make that feature optional in settings. Please please bring that back!!! Note that the Book of Mormon app still gives you that option.

Few Small Ideas. First, I love many of the new changes, the effort that clearly goes into this app, and the content within. If any of the developers see this, I hope you make it so that closing a tab doesn’t automatically reopen the next most recent open tab. I would also enjoy having a way to save a collection of open tabs and put them aside. With these features, I can finish a long study session and close all of my open tabs at once, or put them aside to switch from studying for one lesson or subject to another, and then come back to the first subject or lesson.

Notifications. The app is great, but with the new study plans I noticed that notifications haven’t been working like they’re supposed too. It’s not just me either, I know several other people who have the same problem. That’s the only thing I wish you could fix. Other than that, I think the new study plans are a great addition to this app. I do wish they would work a little bit harder to try and add new features and improve the little things in the app to make it as user friendly as possible. Because this app is so important to so many people, I think it’s important to keep it updated and convenient. Still, I love everything about this app. Keep up the great work.

Thank you for such a marvelous tool and the constant improvement. I am so grateful for those people who had the vision to create this app, for those who originally created it and those who are working on improving the app. This app has improved my gospel study, conversion to Christ and improvement of my relationship to Heavenly Father. The tab and note functions have allowed me to easily do things which would have taken years to do with paper scriptures. An example is first searching The Book of Mormon for each occurrence of “Repent” and it’s variants, tagging each occurrence, being able to make notes at each occurrence of the word to identify and categorize the major usage of the word and then making an index in the Notebook identifying which verses can be classified under each major usage category. Using the split screen function on a tablet allows me to have one side open to the tags and the other screen open to the Notebook allowing easy classification of verses into categories. This has been a most enlightening exercise in the mercy and love available from our God.

Latest update. I love the gospel library app, we can listen to the articles in the Ensign while driving or doing other chores. Also we can look up scriptures quickly and reference any of the content we wish to find. However, in the latest update for Apple, (January 17, 2018) all the audio for the January Ensign has been removed except for the conference notebook article. The icon at the top says the audio is downloaded, but the icon for each article does not appear. I have an iPad2 with iOS 9. I have also noticed that some articles in past issues do not have audio for the entire article, there will be some at the beginning and some at the end with the middle of the article not narrated, or some articles that have no audio.

Great app that could be better. This app is really wonderful, with so many resources, and information, a spiritual powerhouse! The issue is when you write notes, the notes pane covers the whole scripture or the talk you were trying to take notes on, which makes it very difficult to review what you just read. One way to get around this somewhat is by doing split screen, which is only available on iPad. Otherwise, the notes pane covers the entire page when you are trying to compose a note and then you cannot see what you were writing about. If this fix we’re finally completed this app would be a five star for me. Love so much about this app though! Great job!

Why did you make the new font so ugly?. The thing I liked best about using this app to study over my hard copy of the scriptures was the experience I had when scrolling through the text. The last font, spacing and layout was very well done from an aesthetic point of view. It was pleasing to the eyes and made for not only a great tool but also a pleasing experience. Now the text is small and harsh and goes to the far extreme of both sides of the screen (where are the margins?). Yes it provides more content on one page but that content is too small and difficult to use. Yes you can manually change the size of the text in tools but that only works for that one chapter. You have to repeat the process every time you advance a chapter. The irony is when you pull up the footnotes they are in the old font and size while the main text is in the new aesthetically challenged font. It makes me want to read only the footnotes. Why can’t we have the best of all worlds, more info, pleasing aesthetics, pleasing font and for heavens sake some margins. All I know is that my study was more rewarding and spiritually focused in the last version. Isn’t that what we are striving for? I look forward to an improvement in the next version. That or let those who want revert back to the old way or at least have that option.

Inconsistent. I have had nothing but audio issues with this app. It seems the audio is working on every account until every other update or so. Then, I lose all audio and have to reinstall the app several times before I get it back. We shouldn’t have to reinstall an app after updates in order to get the full features of the app. Funny thing is that my husband and I have the exact same phone - same brand, model, everything except color. He never has issues with his gospel library giving him audio - yet, I do. We have compared our settings and they are exactly the same, too. Over the last year, I have had to reinstall 5 times! Seriously, thankful you don’t charge me for each install. I just want to be able to listen to my scriptures, magazines, and other lesson materials. I am able to read my scriptures for my daily studying as I believe reading them helps me more. But, I don’t have hours to read every Ensign article, books, lessons, etc each day. Please make audio available on every device, every monthly issue, every possible way with every update!! Also reinstalled on my son’s iPad and it will not allow him to log in at all! Doesn’t even give him the option to!!! Aggravating 😡

Feast upon the Words of Christ. This app is why smart phones were created. The word of God is more available to us now then ever before. The scriptures, words of modern prophets, and other resources can be studied, searched, linked, and ultimately, taken into our hearts. Tools to listen, mark, and tag enhance my ability to understand and apply the teachings of Christ. Other apps are great supplements, but this app allows us to feast on the words of Christ like no other scripture study app I’ve ever tried. Other resources may give more of a guided approach to scripture study, but those often dumb down the word of God, exclude modern prophecy, or interject the philosophies of men. This is the perfect study tool for those who want the word of the Lord.

So frustrating!. We have had more problems with the stability of this site than we have had with ALL of our other apps combined. Now, All past magazines that had been downloaded were lost. When attempting to download them again the entire site crashed...not once, but three times. It becomes necessary to delete the app and start over again. Repeatedly. Other issues are equally frustrating. In the past you could do a subject search and it would search through all selected resources. Now it only searches material that has been downloaded. (Such as the magazines that cause the site to crash). Furthermore, in the past you only had to click on a year or month to get the download. Now it opens the index and you have to click again to download content. Who thought this was an improvement? Well, doesn’t matter since the site crashes anyway trying to download them. I just don’t understand why our a church site works more poorly than any others.

Still a great app. I absolutely love the LDS Gospel Library App. It does now state that it is for iPhones, and iPads, but I loved it (albeit briefly) on my MacBook. Having the interface of the phone/pad, coupled with a mouse and keyboard, made it the ultimate study combination. Typing notes was easier than ever. I just got a new MacBook and was thrilled that Gospel Library was working on it. Then I updated and lost it. I hope someday it might comeback, but I understand that trying to keep up with so many different techs and platforms can just be overwhelming and you have to just choose where the greatest good can be done. So grateful to have so much at my fingertips. Never has so much scripture been available to easily to so many....The Lord wants us using it. Thank you developers!!

This app is awesome. OK yeah this app is so awesome I love the ability to search for what exact book you were looking for and what place in the book that is so cool especially for visually impaired people like me this app is compatible with voiceover and has audio to read it to you instead of you having to read it and you can also make the text really big so you can read it yourself that is a very nice feature and because I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ I love this app because it allows you to read without having to carry a book of Mormon with you and without worrying about ruining it because if you ruined your scriptures on your phone you ruin your whole phone and it feels a bit better than you’re not ruining an entire book of Mormon

Widget Recommendation. I was stoked to see that a widget was being added to the Library app, but was a bit disappointed by the execution. It seems to be a static “study now” link and doesn’t seem all that engaging. I think for now I’ll just stick with the app icon on my home screen. I definitely don’t know the first thing about programming the widget, but what would be similar, but more engaging would be a combination of the current weeks lesson image with either the the covered scripture material and or the accompanying tagline, this weeks being “He shall come into the world to redeem his His people”. Either seem like a better hook to pull you into taking action than a static “study now” link. That being said, additional widget options that would be great would be a scripture of the day, possibly from the current weeks lesson material? Possibly a conference quote from the last conference, or a quote referenced in the current weeks lesson? Again, no idea of the difficulty level of any of these, but thought I’d pass along the suggestions. Thanks for a great scripture library!

New formatting of Gospel Doctrine manuals is a problem. The new formatting of the Gospel Doctrine manual makes it much more difficult to use when teaching from an iPad. The special fonts and abundance of white space are beautiful but greatly decrease the percentage of the lesson that is visible at one time. Because teaching only permits an occasional glance at the device, it is essential that a person be able to see as much as possible at a time. Decreasing font size to allow seeing as much of the page as with the previous format makes the words themselves difficult to read. Since the biggest challenge in teaching from a tablet is having only a tiny part of the lesson visible at a time, having that portion made even smaller is not a good trade-off for eye appeal.

Unwanted interface updates. I appreciate all the development that goes into this free app that puts such desirable and applicable information at my fingertips, but I am constantly frustrated by changes in the interface that don’t seem to make any sense. With the most recent update, the “Screens” function has been mostly broken for me. Instead of the list view which I had previously, which presented each screen location completely and legibly, I’m presented with a bunch of thumbnails that have only partial or completely illegible references on them. Instead of being able to see which pages I’ve left open, all I can see is a very small image of text text too small to read.

Love this app but would like to see more. I absolutely love this app for many reasons of course. The list could go on and on. Something I would love to see in this app is an option to load a “new copy of each scripture or talk.” With a hard copy Book of Mormon, for example; I am able to mark one of them with a certain theme or goal in mind which leads me to mark it with a very specific lens on. When I have read it with that lens, I pick up a new copy and read it with a new lens and mark it in a different way. Each time I read the scriptures different things pop out at me due to the mindset and circumstances I am in. I would love to see the option to have multiple Books with different annotations for each. Thank you!

App not responding- tech support not helping. My app freezes when I open it, screen remains white with only icons at the bottom. I tap on an icon and it doesn’t respond. Screen remains blank for 20 seconds then locked me out. This has been happening off and on for months. To my daughters app too. I’m sick of it and I’m having to access scriptures through the website instead which is so much more lengthy and does not allow me to switch languages as I need. I call church office for support and I’m told that support for the app is only done via email and the department does not accept phone calls. But the email support they give answered once asking for the version of my phone and the app but after I replied, they haven’t responded for 2 weeks. I need assistance now. Screen is still frozen. I’ll email again. Hopefully I’ll get help soon.

Good app. Can we please have the option for a sleep timer. Continuous play is good but I’d like to stop at some point.

New version won't work. I have an iPad 2 and recently uploaded the latest version. It fails to load and then drops out. Is there something that needs to be fixed ? The app is wonderful or at least the earlier versions were.

Language setting problem. Somehow, the Chinese language can not use, and it makes the scriptures disappear.

Change Moroni back to Gold!. I like the gold Moroni. This new update makes the app look dark and dreary. Please make Moroni gold again.

Enjoy gaining knowledge of LDS. Very informative, can't think of anything that's missing. I enjoy being able to be anywhere, anytime & read something from this well organised & well thought out app. Thank you

Most useful app ever!!!. Being a Mormon is hard with physical scriptures, this is easy and really fun to use. Thank you for the new updates and the app❤️❤️❤️💕

Update confused. After updating and displaying changes, I can only read the lower parts of the notes, not the whole scriptures. So I cannot see edit options. My device is iPhone 7 Plus. Is that any opportunity to fix this problem by myself?

Gospel Doctrine 3. I don't know what I would do if I didn't have this app on my iPod. I use it all the time and now I have been called as a Primary teacher it is invaluable to me. The improvements that have been made since I first got it have been wonderful. It is the best app that I have.

Best app ever. This app has everything I need. I can read the scriptures and highlight anything that is relevant for me. Also, I truly Love the inspirational videos and the magazines 💙💙

Crashing. Ever since updating the app, I have been unable to open the app, I have deleted the app, re-downloaded and restarted my phone but it keeps crashing. The app attempts to open and immediately closes. Can anyone help? Please!

Gospel Library Three. Appreciate updates, and continuing improvements in presentation, audio per scriptures allows me to formulate in my mind and to understand what's being said by the prophets, rather than I having to concentrate on what I am reading.

Shows no content. I’ve deleted the app and downloaded it 4 times today and it still won’t show any content.. is it not compatible with iPhone 6s anymore?

Great app. Love my scriptures app. Are you going to release a version for the Apple Watch?

?? Not working on my iOS 12. I’ve downloaded & deleted - to re download and it does not budge? Am I the only one? I’ve never had this problem before... & kids are downloading apps all day, I’m removing them all night! But no idea what’s happening with the gospel app? Please help

Raymond Peddell. It’s a great app for me to get for being able to read the books of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Continuous playing. To whom this may concern, Is there a way that you can make The conference videos continue playing?

Great except for crashing. I love the app! It provides an easy way to access all the gospel elements, plus so much more that I never would have known about otherwise! I especially love the ‘Church History’. However I have been experiencing a rather frustrating problem where the app crashes whenever I open the Institute manuals section. The app then continues to crash every time I open it until I delete the app and then re-download it. I don’t know why it does it but it’s quite annoying. Otherwise, thank you very much!

Loving the changes!. Love your work guys. It’s been great watching the app evolve and reading a few reviews about the changes and what does and doesn’t work for your users. Thanks for listening to us. I’d like to raise my hand and mention I’d love to see the ability to merge Study notebooks. Or move one item I've saved in one study notebook to another. At present I have to basically go back to the original source, rehighlight and add to the alternative study notebook I want the material to be present in. Then delete from the original. If you’re wanting to move across multiple notes… it’s a big fat pain in the but that often takes more time than I have to do. Would love to see this feature added. As time rolls on with these new features and people dabble figuring out how we like to use them, there’s generally a point where you want to fix up or delete or merge some of your original efforts. So would be great to see this taken into account to allow for that flexibility. Thanks for helping us study the gospel and keep our efforts organised and recorded 🙂

Works great on iPad, not so great on iPhone. For some reason the links to some if the books on the iPhone don't work. I keep getting the error invalid link, can't take you there. I can't access and Ensign, teachings if the prophets and the leadership manuals and handbooks. Can you please fix this bug. Thanks!

Newest update not great. As another review stated, the new update has changed your tabs from a list format to large squares that you have to scroll through. It’s not user friendly and gets confusing because there is too much going on. Also for some reason, not sure if this is some user error or not, but since the update, I will get duplicate tabs that open, so it makes it even more frustrating having so many to go through, and now to delete as well.

Worth getting. The gospel library app is so easy to use but there is one thing missing and that is the gospel art pictures. Also if one could tap on the pictures of the lessons to display the full size of the screen this would be helpful.

Excellent. A wonderful resource to have at hand to help me learn about God and what is wants for me.

Sort Notebook by Newest. Best app ever!! Please add the ability to sort a notebook by the newest created note as each time you have to scroll a long way to the bottom. Thank you

Crashing. Ever since updating the latest update (May 2019) I have been unable to open the app on my iPhone. I have deleted and redownloaded the app, restarted my phone, and still the app won’t open. It goes to the loading page with Moroni for about 10 seconds and then closes itself.

Great New App. Huge change for the better. I'm really enjoying the new app, I'm learning new things every time I use it. It makes preparing for a talk or a lesson so much easier. Everything is all in one easy to use app. My bag is so much lighter now without carrying all my much needed books for church. Thanks so much for making it easier to learn the gospel😄.

App is crashing constantly. I use the Gospel Library app every day. The last few days it has started crashing. I’ve turned my phone off and on again, deleted and reinstalled the app, but still have problems. The app won’t stay open long enough for me to give feedback that way. I resorted to logging in through the website to read my scriptures but trying to add tags was a nightmare on my phone. I love using the app to read my scriptures and study my lessons. This crashing is messing with my schedule 🤪

Debugging staging living scripture. Have continued to get this message every time I try to play anything. Help pls

Not backward compatible. Unfortunately this new app is not compatible with my iPad. Recent changes crashed the previous app so I deleted it and tried to reinstall but to no avail. I can't afford a new iPad and have lost years of highlights. Hopefully the developers will look at this issue.

Love this ap but can’t open it after latest update. Love this ap and it has worked perfectly over the years but since latest update 2 days ago I can’t even open it without it crashing

Love it - but has suddenly gone blank? After automatically updating?. Fabulous and love the colour and design. However after automatically updating this morning everything has gonee blank?? Tis has happened before and seems to right itself eventuLly - so I recommend people don't get rid of their older version - for me 2.5 - so you can use this as a backup in this event.

Love it!!!. I love the new layout, and the bookmarks, as well as the ability to have multiple windows. It's so easy to use & makes my daily scripture study both easily accessible & enjoyable. Now I can read when I think of it, wherever I am instead of trying to remember later. I also love that I can sign in & sync my notes & colour marking/underlines with my iPad. I'm really really happy!!!!!

I would give it a 5 if:. I would give it a 5 if the search inside the app was more refined. It says a word or phrase is in a chapter but it doesn't go to the specific verse. I much preferred how the search worked in the old gospel library I was able to find things then.

Fabulous gospel study resource. Great app, excellent work! Suggestion for improvement would be to allow changing the order of resources in the main library, eg, to keep this years manuals/regularly used books at the top. Thank you!

LDS LIBRARY DOES NOT OPEN. I lost count of how many time I download the app and tried to open it but it does not work. I tried uninstall and install it again but nothing, I even turn off my IPhone and turn back on, re installed but still nothing. Please what seems to be the problem cos it is very frustrating and I need this app.

Great upgrade. I love the latest version of LDS library. Being able to annotate as well as tag scriptures and quotes creating my own reference library is fantastic and I enjoy having all media, manuals and magazines at my fingertips, having audio/video/text versions available for general conference talks. The only negative thing for me is navigating. When flipping between different documents/books, the back button doesn't necessarily take me back to the previous document, but to a previous page in the latest document.

Good but problems with app. Wonderfull app, though lately has been crashing every time I open the app without loading anything, just about a minute of loading page then boom closes. If that bug gets sorted then it would be perfect

Help! Update killed my ap. I can't use this anymore since the latest update on my iOS 9.3.5 device!! This device cannot update anymore it's reached its iOS limit. Please fix this ap to remain compatible with older iOS!!

Please don’t take options away. A recent “upgrade” means my open scriptures are now tiles that I cannot read rather then a list I could read. If someone asks for tiles great! give them tiles, but don’t take away my list. I hate the tiles.

New update. I don’t ever write reviews but this new update just makes me want to comment. I appreciate this app, and I use it frequently as a Church employee and as a member of the Church. An update was just created whereby quick links were added on a new homepage and saved pages were changed into a different format. The saved pages are so big that there is endless scrolling involved. The quick links show three links that are at the top of the library home page anyway. Might you kindly consider adding the ability to personalise the homepage so people can choose to add features they will use and remove ones they will never use? For example, for me, I will likely never use the study helps or quotes on the home page. I will use the study helps as I study. Others might find this really useful. The ability to personalise this would be an excellent addition. Might you also consider adding the ability to change the saved page view with different options, such as a list view as it had before? It is way more user-friendly for me when many pages are open and I am teaching multiple lessons in one day and I don’t want to lose the pages I have open and need to find quickly. I would consider the tile view update is very helpful for other scenarios. I appreciate your innovations, and feel this and other updates would cater to the different needs of people and the way we all use this tool in different ways. Thank you!

Love this App. Struggling though to save any new notes. It won’t allow me to save them. I still have access to y previous ones before the update, however cannot create new ones. Also when I do any search’s the app crashes and just closes on me. Other then these issues, it’s the best tool for keeping a bounteous spiritual feast on my table ❤️ Thank You

Still updating?. I have not been able to use the app at all since I updated my phone two weeks ago to the new iOS. I even reinstalled the app. I don't know if it is because the app is being developed, or because it does not work on my phone, but it simply will not update. It sits on the "updating content" page permanently. I've had to go back to using the v2.5.

Brilliant!. Everything has been enhanced and made easier to navigate and use. The layout is beautiful and there's so much more content such as video and audio. Would be hard pressed to find a nice app out there! Well done and thank you for all the improvements.

it would be good if it would work. it wont work on my ipad every time i log on it just crashes plz fix this so i can use the app

Love it. I love the app, with its ease of use and new study scheduling. A quick question regarding the women’s RS declaration which the prophet encouraged us to consider in the last general conference. I couldn’t find it in the library surprisingly, and wonder whether it could be included.

Great!. It’s Getting better every day

Update not working. Like others who have complained on here, since the app update, the app is no longer compatible for certain versions of iPads. Why should we be forced to purchase new iPads just to be able to download the app, especially when the iPads we have are in perfect working order? This implicitly supports needless consumerism. Please fix so that it is compatible for all Apple devices.

It's Soooo Good!. This latest version is soooo much better with so many enhanced features. I love reading the scriptures, conference talks, etc., in different languages alternating verses in multiple windows. It helps me learn the language of the mission I'm preparing to serve in. The enhanced marking & underlining in colours broadens the number of the categories of meanings to those markings. Keep up the great work - Andy Schwabe - Melbourne, Australia

marvellous gospel tool. I prefer this test version to the last. I love being able to jump between scriptures when studying. It is easy to use. Also love that most manuals are also listed and just as easy to access.

Best APP ever!!. Seriously this App is my life! Easy to use and I’m loving all the new updates

Great but.... Really great how it is set up now. Really easy to access footnotes, audio, and other materials. The only thing that I could complain about is the search. I miss the 2.5 version of gospel library. If you fix that, then this will be a brilliant version and I will then delete the 2.5 version. But thanks to all those who worked on creating this app.

My app never opens. It just has a blank page with the options at the bottom I’m lucky if anything else shows up. I can barley ever get it to open properly. I really want to use it. I don’t know if there is an update coming but this has not only been happening to me and it’s been for a while now.

New update doesnt work. Says cant load starting content because i do not have internet... but i do have internet. ..

Update? Or downdate. Nice thought on the new control over tabs(or windows if you will). But, why is there an option to “close other screens”?and how do I move these things anyway. Also, why is there no warning or “are you sure you want to permanently close all these tabs you have open to read from daily as part of your routine and lose for ever” button? Why?

Daily verse notifications?. Kudos for finally adding daily verse to the app. One thing that I wish we had with daily verse is the ability to set up a daily notification for the verse. Please and thank you. God bless you all.

Excuse me. Seriously 😐 it doesn’t support iOS 12 any more I love the church And I pay my tithing and it looks like that tithing was wasted on cutting costs for a new update that doesn’t even support my device 😭😭

Won’t open. The app won’t open.

Colours please.. Still looking for some color on the icons on the right to make it possible to see selected tags and notes. Without color they are hardly visible. Please please please.

Program won’t open. About a week ago when I tried to open the program it showed the angel Moroni and then everything disappeared. I tried deleting the app and reloading it (about 4 different times) but the same thing happens. What do I do? This is the first time I have had a problem.

Unhappy sort of.. This new update has not been very good. We used two different devices and when you scroll, in the scriptures, the text is super jerky. The old version never had this problem.

Gospel app Changes. I love the improvements. Thanks so much for always keeping things up to date. Teaching with these improvements will be amazing!!!!

Application original. Jaime 7 application car elle garde texte la où chu rendu

Updated 2 days ago now the program will not open. After the update my i pad is trying to connect but drops out of the program before opening but my i phone as well as my wife's i pat and i phone work well the geek squad at best buy cant fix it we tried every thing it has to be with the program Can you help me with this problem

Not working. This version does not load unto my iPad. I have no previous versions to use, so I cannot use the one app I got my iPad for. Not happy at all.

Not thought through completely. While I normally love this app, my kids have discovered a way to access inappropriate content through it with the pop up browsers. So now, while l love the content, I have to block it on my kid’s technology.

Best source for spiritual guidance.. Just get it and use it…

Grateful. I love this app and use it daily.

Language change is buggy. I use the app in Spanish and English. Sometimes I have to redownload either language. Now I only have burmese available with no option to get any other language. Tried many things with no luck so far.

Fixed!. I’ve changed the rating from 1 to 5! It works wonderfully now! Thank you! Ihave tried every conceivable way to get this app to open on my ipad mini 5. My friends with older minis have the same problem. Please fix it or share a ‘work around’? Thank you! I love the app!

App. There seems to be a glitch with the update on the app . Can you fix it please Sarah Davidson

Buggy. As much as I like this app when it works, it frequently drives me crazy, either freezing temporarily, or locking up so badly that the only way to rectify the issue is by completely deleting the app and reinstalling it later. I don’t understand what the problem is with Church’s IT department, but I often have issues with the Church’s websites as well. I’ve been told it’s because I run them on a Mac, but I don’t buy that; if most other sites have solved these problems, why not the Church’s sites?

Does not work on new iPad. Running IOS 13.3.1 on new iPad 7th generation. The installed app opens to the splash screen and crashes after a short delay. Still runs on an older IOS on older iPad.

Rough scrolling. On an iPad A1489 running iOS 12.1.4 scrolling the scripture verses is really jerky with this update. I’ve rebooted and it’s still happening, but only in this app. Very very jerky scrolling. Like 5 FPS

Constantly glitching. I don’t know what’s wrong because I never had any problems (or very minimal ones) with the app. But every time, I open the app, it shuts off after a minute or so even if I’m actively using it on my phone. Would be a good idea to look into this problem. Maybe it’s just a recent problem 🤷🏻‍♀️

iPhone 11 troubles. I so badly want this app to work on my brand new iPhone 11. I even tried the update that was made a day ago. Still it refuses to work. I’ve had to go back to reading scriptures on paper... gasp! Please fix it so I don’t have to haul my scriptures to church 😁

Great. The greatest app you can download on your phone.

App won’t open. I LOVE LDS library, but since the new update, it won’t open on my iPad Air. What’s going on?

Study plan problem. When I am using the study plan, and I have to so I want to finish the Book of Mormon by the end of the year. So I noticed that some of the days repeat, like March 25 ,26,25,26,27,26, that sorta thing. Also I set it to give me notifications to read but it doesn’t do anything, I looked in my settings and I have it so I can give me the notifications and how it says it would but nothing.

Needs an Update. This is my go to scripture on the go. But its not working properly for me as a user. We should update this app constantly for easy use.

Continuous play. Library app audio I like to listen to the scriptures through the audio player in the library app. Lately it’s not seamlessly player chapter to chapter. It will play one chapter then stop and return to “ study plan”. Then I have to push play again. This happens when my phone is in “alive mode” when my phone goes dark into “sleep mode” it will play continuously. This just started happening recently.

Not running on all devices. Historically, this has been a great app. Ongoing problems with the new version though - won’t run on my old iPad mini and now it won’t run on my brand new iPad Pro (Gen 3). When will this be fixed?

So grateful for this app. The only thing I would change is the person reading the scriptures. Since I have ADHD I don’t have the focus to read the scriptures so listening to them solves my problem. The only thing is that I get tired of hearing the SAME voice everyday so then I stop listening to the scriptures. It would be SO appreciated if different voices could be choices.

Amazing!. I love this app! Now wherever I go, I can have the scriptures with me. I can access anything I need to and it’s super easy to use and to find resources.

Gospel library. I have downloaded this app on my I pad but can’t open it. Anyone have any ideas why. Thanks

The best app. It’s great

Used to be really useful. This is an app that I have always loved. It was possible to download all my scriptures and study manuals, and have them at hand for the times when I didn’t have easy access to the Internet. The screenshots are what my app used to look like. So I could click on my scriptures at any time and give them—or anything else in there library a good study or refer to them. it was really and truly useful. The last two updates look nothing like the screenshots. I can get a few items, but they don’t even include my scriptures. When not online, I absolutely cannot use my electronic versions of scriptures, but can sometimes access CFM lessons. It’s not dependable at all. Even when I am online,I cannot simply find the new testament and look up a scripture. If it is not a scripture or reference that I can look up in the CFM manual, then access is not even a thing. I cannot have access to it. I don’t see a place where I can even provide feedback privately to the developer. So it’s with great reluctance that this rating and commentary are being offered here, for lack of another place to do so appropriately. If it is possible to get help with this, to sort it out and make it useful again, I’ll gladly revoke this commentary and rating, in favour of ones that reflects the level of functionality after the help rendered.

Problem with Access. Since the recent upgrade of the App I have not been able to access it on my iPad. I get a pop up saying I can no longer access this App and that I must now pay for the App. I hope this can be fixed soon.

Long-time fan. Love the content on this app - beautiful and inspiring.

Having issues. Every time since the last update the page that open up has immediately been skipping to the end and won’t let me get a proper read in because I have to keep re scrolling to where I was over and over again

Just no. The user interface is beyond mental and you basically have to be on the spectrum to get anything close to what you went on to it looking for. My advice is to hound leaders for a paper copy of anything you’d go here for and if they can’t get the book just ask for them to print it out.

Not working. The app wont even open. I click on the app, it begins to loon like it’ll open then back to my original screen.

Amazing app, but very buggy! Hi! i ve this , but in this will date, I not’t ver. Hi! I love this app, but I can't open anything because the update screen won't let me click the done button. This app is very amazing. Keep up the good work.

awesome app!. love this app I can bring my scriptures wherever through my phone 🤍🤍

Truth on Christ. Prophet Joseph Smith is a Great Writer and Even His Ways of Writing Holy Scriptures. The Only Correction I Would Write is that We All as One Should Pray to Christ Crucified and to FEEL and EXPERIENCE the Divine Love and Healing that Pours Forth from His Holy Wounds. Christ Suffered in Our Place, and that is the Place of a Sinner. Holy, Blameless and Spotless is Our Lord and King, this Alone Would Take Knowledge and Understanding. How Could this Be? It’s deteriorating. I remember when I was a kid and most of us had paper scriptures. We would race to see who could find a verse fastest, and the kid with the phone almost always won. Later when I finally got a phone I downloaded every part of this app because it was so small so I may as well. Now it takes forever to find anything simply because every page needs some time to load, every time I open the app something wants to show me the newest features and now it needs *update screens?* not to mention that me having maybe a third of the stuff costs me a whole gigabyte of data. It didn’t used to be like this!

Love it, just one thing.. The Library is very responsive. My only issue is when I use the search bar I don’t receive any results, I get a continual loading que. I’ve been having this issue for about a month now. Thank you.

Audio stops now.. I love to listen to the scriptures or saints as I drive or do things around the house. It used to continue playing if I had to go out of the app or my screen locked but now every 3 min I have to unlock my screen (a feature which protects personal information) in order to continue listening. Not to mention having to stop whatever you are doing every few minutes just so you can continue listening.

Having troubles. This app has been my mainstay for organizing my lessons. Suddenly it stopped opening. I’ve deleted it and reinstalled it but the app still won’t open.

Remarkable resource....... Imagine having as a close personal friends, as you study the Gospel, a scripture scholar, and a media expert. Well.......having this APP is just that.....😊.....what a difference this APP will make for so many of us as we study.....:)

Voice App integration?. Thank you for all your efforts in developing the App! What do you think about integrating Speechify or similar apps into Gospel Library? For those with disabilities or those who driving it would be great to be able to just listen to the content, not just General Conference or Scriptures, but the Handbook and other materials as well.

Can’t paste. Why can’t I paste within the app? I used to be able to paste into notes for scripture that I highlighted. Now I can’t.

Latest update is a step back in usability. I couldn’t find any way to provide app feedback elsewhere - this latest update harms app usability significantly albeit in two seemingly minor places: 1. Text line spacing is now much larger and displays far less text on a page, and is non-adjustable. I find this to be a fairly jarring change and strongly prefer the old line spacing. I understand that some users may prefer the new spacing but if that’s the case please make it adjustable. I have to scroll a lot more while reading scriptures now. 2. The new tab screen looks pretty, but is much harder to use when jumping between many tabs. Now I have to scroll to see the tabs AND I can’t read the full title of the tabs so it’s much harder to quickly find the tab I’d like to switch to. Using a thumbnail for switching between tabs that are often primarily text doesn’t make such sense to me. Please give an option to revert to the old list behavior for faster and easier tab switching again. Although these may seem like nitpicks, these are the two primary things I do every day in the app. Please consider reverting the changes or adding more configuration options for “power” users. Thank you!

5 stars!

Excellent app with one burning wish!. I use this app ALL THE TIME! The content is great and is constantly being updated. I love that. One big feature I would like is to have the underlining end at the end of word or sentence, rather than bleed into an open space or even the beginning of the next word. Exactness is better since I want to underline something specific. If I underline multiple words in a paragraph or scripture verse, and they are next to each other, it appears as one long underline. That’s frustrating. Again, exactness and being precise in my underlines or highlights is what I need. Badly. Please please please!

New version does not recognize many footnotes.. I have used this App since it’s inception. I love it and I have become dependent upon it to read, mark, add notes, etc. I use most of the tools and features in the App on a daily basis. After the most recent Update, I have found a recurring issue when accessing footnotes in my Scriptures. An error message comes up that reads: “No Related Content”. Below this confusing heading, it explains: “The content for this reference is unavailable in English.” I hope that someone will fix this problem as soon as possible! Thank you!! I am also multilingual and wish that all my scriptural markings and notes would transfer to other languages.

Good App but I’m Stuck!?. This app is good and I really enjoy being able to read the scriptures even without a book. But still, I am having an issue where I had gone to the notes page and was scrolling through, but then the app crashed. After I started it back up, I was still on the notes page, but the arrow to go back was not working. I tried going back to the main page through bookmarks, the search bar, and all other things, but whenever I tapped in the they would not work. I’ve tried it with WiFi, without WiFi, and with 4G but nothing works. I’m still stuck on this page and I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but I’m still stuck.

Recommendation. I love the app. Maybe this setting is already in the app and I don’t know how to find it. While listening to the scriptures have a setting where the page moves along with the recorded voice. If you could also turn on (or off) a highlighter that would highlight the word that is being read at that time. Those two things could be a helpful tool for people who struggle with reading and processing what is being read. Sometimes comprehension is easier when you can hear and read along with the recording. It could also help people who are trying to learn/read in a new language.

Best app in the Church. I love this app. So many wonderful resources and keeps expanding. One recommendation. Today in church we were discussing Hebrew 11. I read verse one and the instructor asked me what the JST said. Had I known which of the three footnotes added more clarity to the verse I would have shared. So my recommendation for a future update is for the JST footnotes to be a different color so I would have known which one to click on. Here is the verse 1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Substance was changed to assurance and having that JST footnote green or red or whatever what have helped me. Keep up the great work!

Accessibility of new hymn book. I think the digital hymn book is well designed but I ran into a slight inconvenience when using the new hymn book. At the bottom of each hymn there is a “scroll to top” button, so you can sing the next verse. However, in songs such as “Little Baby in a Manger” that have a long coda after the final verse, there’s no quick way to get back to the top after singing the other verses. This led to me missing some of the lyrics when I sang it. I propose moving the “scroll to top” button for those types of songs, placing it right after the repeat sign

Love the ease of use. Possible to link accounts to share notes and bookmarks?. This app continually is getting better and better. I love how easy it makes my scripture study and that my notes are searchable. Recently my wife and I have started using the same account so we have access to the same family bookmarks and notes. With the most recent update with study plans and reminders, it didn't make sense to keep using the same account. Would it be possible to link accounts with the option to be able to share bookmarks, notes, highlights, etc.?

Please read this I have feedback!. Hello, I am a user of your app with a visual impairment, I need a larger tech size to read the screen, and luckily your app accommodates my zoom text feature on the settings on my iOS device, and iPhone 15. However, unfortunately, when I go to read actual text of something such as. The book of Norman or anything like that I am unable to do so because apparently when I go into settings, there is no text size option, but since this app has been updated, I don’t see one anymore. I left the app for a little while. and when I came back to it, there was no option to change the text size.

Add a lock option to the Notebooks?. I recently started keeping a prayer journal in the app in the notebook section. I love that it has this notebook feature!! Today I realized it’s WAY too easy to delete a notebook. Could a lock option or a prompt “are you sure you want to delete this notebook?” option, be added to that section?!?! I love that I have and can make these journal entries available to me at all times wherever I am & what better place to have them than in scripture app. But I’m so scared I’m going to accidentally swipe left and in an instant they will be gone!!!

Can’t escape some screens. I have an iPad Pro. Right now, I’m stuck in the Bible Dictionary. The usual menu at the top of the screen does not appear. I went there trying to escape a talk that also would not display the menu. I’ve tapped all over the screen to no avail. If I close the app, it opens in the same place. The only way out is to reboot. Otherwise, the app is awesome. I especially enjoy the pop-up side bar to read references and related materials, and the human voices reading the scriptures and other materials. And the integration of all the scriptures, magazines, videos, etc. I also appreciate being able to listen to the scriptures in my mission language. Thanks 😊

App won’t open (Update: Problem fixed). I’ve used this app for years, but now on my iPhone 8 it won’t open. I’ve made sure everything is updated to most recent updates, but the app just shows me the screen with the angel Moroni for a few seconds and then crashes. This has been a problem with the past three updates of the app. I keep hoping a new update will fix this issue, but I’ve had no luck these past few months. Update: Apparently it was a problem between the app and Apple’s iOS. Apple sent out an iOS update, which I just installed, and now my Gospel Library app works just fine. I am now running iOS 12.3.1.

Love the app, suggestion for update. I find myself saving upwards of 20 screen for different talks, articles, scriptures, handbook sections, etc. It would be great to have the ability to create personal folders so we could organize our screens in things like FHE, Quorum, My Calling, Favorite talks or whatever else we fancy. Maybe a long tap when you hold a screen and it says "rename screen" and "close other screens" you could drag it over another screen and prompt you to create a folder? Or maybe we could touch the + and it could prompt "new screen" and "new folder"

The latest big update is annoying. A couple things were changed in the latest update. 1. When I view all the current screens I have open and I close the one I was last in, instead of continuing to show all the open screens it immediately opens the second to last opened screen . Often this creates another step for me. Especially if I close a screen I was reading and it automatically takes me to the second to last screen. 2. When I close the app and open it again it duplicates the screen I had open. This is pointless and results in many duplicate tabs. 3. I don’t like the new home page. I can see why some would like it but it creates an extra step for me. Maybe create the option to disable that?? 4. This isn’t so much a change, but often when opening a new page within a screen (maybe clicking on a definition within the Bible dictionary) the new screen is grayed out and I can hardly read the text. Most of the time closing the app and opening it again fixes this but results in a duplicates tab. I don’t see why these changes needed to be made.

Usability downgrade in Screens switcher. I’m *really* missing the old Screens switcher functionality. It used to be possible to quickly switch from one screen to another with a simple list, where the title of each screen was large, clear, and complete. Now, the same task is an aggravating exercise in scanning all around a bunch of different squares—up, down, left, right—squinting at teeny tiny title text, and trying to guess which abridged title is actually the thing you were looking for. I know you were trying to “be like Apple” with that design, but sadly, Apple’s way is increasingly not the most user-friendly way. Grids-for-everything is a perfect example. There are probably folks out there who like the new grid layout, but for the rest of us, please at least add an option to switch back to list view! You might be surprised how many make use of it. At least I haven’t updated my phone’s app yet. Since I use the Screens switcher all the time, I’m going to stick with the old version there until the UI improves!

Easy to use and amazing!. This app is very easy to use and a wonderful tool for members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Without having to bring your printed copy of the Book of Mormon, you can access it here, along with the Bible, Pearl of Great Price, and the Doctrine and Covenants. You can also access other great content, like many videos, such as the new Book of Mormon the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has released. I’ve seen quite a few reviews about this app, but I use it almost every Sunday in church. There are also some interesting features, like being able to change the size of the text and the theme of the screen.

Bookmark feature changed. I love this app but today when I went to make a bookmark, like I always do quite frequently, it wouldn’t let me immediately rename the bookmark. I figured out how to change it later by looking at the bookmark list, but I always rename them by subject right when I make them and it was so simple to do! I know this is what you can do with tags, but I like to do it with bookmarks much better. Is this a change you made or just an error that you can’t rename bookmarks immediately? Please, please change it back if this wasn’t an error.

Great content, please fix glitch. I use this app most days and really enjoy the regular updates to both content and app performance. Thanks for that. Since the most recent updates two weeks ago, I can no longer remove downloaded audio content. Tapping the trash can when I have the chapter/talk open on the screen does nothing. Going to settings -> downloaded media -> audio content shows there are hundreds of megabytes of audio downloads until I drill into Audio and then it says “No Downloaded Audio.” Didn’t have this issue until version 6.5 and 6.5.1. Please fix soon as my phone is low on storage.

Needs chapter navigation controls. The Mac app doesn't seem to have any chapter navigation controls. In the iOS app, you can simply swipe forward/back to move to the next/previous chapter. But in the Mac version, you have to navigate back to the chapter list and manually select a new chapter. That might seem like a small thing, but you have to remember which chapter you last read so you can select the next chapter. It should be trivial to add forward/backward buttons (and/or simply map that functionality to the arrow keys on the keyboard).

Great app. I have one suggestion. I love this app! I think it’s absolutely wonderful and easy to navigate! I use this app to listen to the scriptures and to conference talks quite often. While I’ve listened i thought it’d be wonderful if i could see what paragraph/verse was being spoken. A press and hold feature on the microphone toggle might be good for this! A feature like this would really help me remember lines and verses, make it so much easier to mark things and write impressions about certain lines, and add lines to my study notebooks.

Bad update. UPDATE: all seems back to normal so I’m thrilled. I use this app for all my gospel stuff. Everything is organized and neat. I have things I’ve been slowly studying for years. Everything syncs up great. I’m glad it’s working right again. Original: regret updating. It’s so glitchy. Yesterday all the pictures in the Ensign were huge and there was no way to exit out of it. Today all the content looks like a web page that tried to have a mobile version but failed. I can’t keep the night theme, because the color scheme has changed and it’s unreadable. I hope it’s all fixed soon. I miss using this app

Bug report. I love having my scriptures and other gospel study resources in my pocket all the time. I love that I can mark them up just like my hard copies too. One issue I’ve noticed is that sometimes when I tap and hold to highlight a word, if I drag the highlight too slowly to other words, the page jumps to the top and every time I try to scroll back down to where I was, it jumps back up again. I have to close out of the app and reopen it in order to resume studying. This happened on my old iPhone SE, as well as my current iPhone 6. I understand these are both older models, but I’m hoping that this bug can be fixed. It will greatly help the flow of my studies!

New Full Screen Experience. • Added a new full-screen experience in the reading view (top and bottom bars will go away when scrolling down, and reappear when scrolling up). I find this new feature a bit annoying. I liked how before you could double tap to make the bars go away (and keep them away) and double tap to make them reappear. It’s distracting now when if you scroll up even the slightest amount the screen shifts. Maybe you could add an option where you can choose to revert to the old feature.

Best Scripture app out there. There isn’t any scripture app that I have found that compares. You can take notes you can listen Mark and come back to your spot. You can have as many different windows open as you would like. It gives you so many resources and helps you grow so much closer to the savior. I have this app as well as others and non come even close to how amazing this is. It has evolved so much over the years and I love the music. It includes as well. Such a wonderful resource. Any bugs the app experiences are quickly fixed.

Love it!. I study the scriptures regularly and absolutely love how easy it is to annotate and cross-reference scripture and prophetic teachings on the Gospel Library app. I am deeply grateful for this resource and consider it one of the “tender mercies of the Lord.” There are some occasional glitches or bugs regarding searching or the app closing unexpectedly, but these issues are insignificant compared to everything the Lord offers us through this marvelous gospel via the app. The ability to quickly go to various scriptures is unparalleled. What used to take a minute or 30 seconds to find now takes 1 millisecond!

Too finicky. Over the years I’ve had quite a few problems with this app. Sign in seems like it’s always a problem or saying my password was wrong. Updating or synchronizing would take days. Now I cannot login at all. It’s asking for biometric authentication and I get a qr to scan. I’ve scanned it and the phones connect and it says no id. I use the latest iPhone I have great data connection and it wifi connection. I have many apps for banking and other secure apps with multi verification so it’s not like I don’t know how to use my device or secure apps. I’ve held many callings where it’s important to have this app and I’ve learned too get by without it. As a seminary teacher I cannot do attendance without being able to login to lds.

Screens. I love this app and use it all the time. I just got back from my mission and I have been using it on Samsung until now. There is one difference between the two that annoys me quite a lot and it’s that every time I open to app, it makes a new screen that’s a duplicate of whatever the last screen I was on was. This makes it so organization of screens is hard, and it bothers me quite a bit. One other issue I have is that when you highlight a verse, it won’t let you change the limits of the highlight. So if I go back through my scriptures and find that I want to add another sentence or two to my highlight, I physically can’t change the highlight to include anything else because I can’t select the borders of the highlight. It’s a lot easier to accomplish all these things on the Samsung version, so obviously the changes are possible. That’s my only issues with it. I love the scriptures though and I think this is one of my most used apps ever.

Fantastic app; lousy search engine. I am still amazed that I have such quick and easy access not only to the scriptures but to lessons, magazines, handbooks and more all on my phone. I remember the old days where if you taught a lesson you had to lug your scriptures, a manual, and possibly a magazine to church. The search engine is poor. I can type in key words in the search engine and either nothing will come up or I’ll have to wade through 30 conference talk results only to find what I’m looking for has not been found. Enter the same words in google and the talk I’m looking for is most often the first result or in the first page.

Stop making things worse. Every update seems to change the way things work. For example. Now full screen mode toggles on and off with scrolling. How about go back to how it was? All I want is the content to show up without overcomplicating it. This app runs heavy (which is annoying when all it does is show text). I can feel the iPad chip heating up in the back and it slams the battery. If. We could go back 5 years, I feel like the app was significantly more streamlined and worked much better. It didn’t have all the random tools etc. it simply showed text and let us highlight things. That’s all I want and now it struggles. Most church apps are like this. They all struggle.

Makes study easier. I love this app for so many different things! It makes studying the gospel so much more accessible. I would love to be able to set a stopping point when listening to things according to my study plan. So if I need to only read to verse 15 it will stop there for me without having to pay attention to where I am in the chapter while driving. This goes for the scriptures or any other text I may be reading. But that’s my only suggestion, I love everything else about it! And I’m grateful I even have access to it like I do, but that improvement would help my study a lot!

Amazing App But One Big Bug On masOS. This app is amazing I've always loved it! But on macOS when you go into a chapter or anything like that you can no longer scroll. When you try it just highlights everything. Every other scrollView works though. But it's that way thoughout the whole app. For example, I can scroll on the main Library view. Then I selcet Music. I can scroll here too but once I tap on a song and it takes me to that view I can no longer scroll. Annoying bug that needs fixed ASAP.

Multiple Copies of Book of Scripture Would be Appreciated!!!. I love, love, love this app. The features keep getting better and better, and I love that I have all the words of the prophets, both ancient and modern, at my fingertips. The next feature I would love to see is the ability to mark up different copies of the same book. With us studying BOM this year, I wish I had a clean digital copy to go through. I would love to be able to title these different copies, like with “2024 Study” or “Hightlighted with Faith and Hope” or something!

“Save for later” feature request. I love the Library app and I use it daily! This is just a feature request. I often am recommended a talk or come across an article or something that I want to read later. I have no way to “Save for Later” or “Add to List” it so that I can come back and read it later. It would even be nice to be able to create a list of good articles or references (for specific verses in scripture to save for later as well) that is shareable. That feature would be used a lot by many people. Thanks for considering this feature!

Latest update. The most recent update is so bad! Please change it back. My biggest pain is the hymns sheet music page. Instead of a pdf style of the hymn book page it now digitally renders the music on the screen. The scroll bar on the side is unnecessary for such a small page, and when I try to scroll down my thumb catches it and randomly scrolls all over. The sheet music page also lacks any verses beyond 4. I like being able to read music at the bottom of the old pdf style and still reference the notes. Now to sing verses 5 and beyond I need to switch over to text only and I miss out on the music. Finally, the update is glitchy, and sometimes the lines rearrange themselves randomly while I’m singing and it is obnoxious.

Opening Notebooks. When you initially open your Notebooks, the notebook titles are the only thing shown and then you can open the actual notebook, that’s great and I love it. But, when you go into one of those notebooks it has every one of your notes opened simultaneously. First, it makes it a pain to find anything and second, it makes the app glitch out because there’s so much data opened at once. If it were the same mechanism as what I described in the first sentence that would be great. It used to be that way but then it changed tô this format at some point.

This App is trying to do too much 24/7. In the last few weeks the Church has sunsetted the Sacred Music App, now requiring use of this app to access the hymns digitally. This has created a scenario where you get visually blasted just trying to quickly find a hymn during sacrament meeting since EVERYTHING is now exclusively in one place. Maybe at 34 years old I’m just hitting early onset grumpiness, but the clutteredness of this UI is a bit overwhelming. When doing a dedicated study session, it works fine, but it is tedious to navigate during active worship at church. Considering that the app already utilizes my membership record to pull my local info for sacrament hymns and EQ lessons, perhaps the inclusion of some context detection that streamlines the UI for Sacrament worship and lesson participation would help? While the devs are at it, a feature to create multiple “profiles” for different activities that can be readily toggled would help a lot. One last thing as well—make it so that I can toggle “History” on/off. It doesn’t need to permanently take up half of the home menu.

My favorite App. This is by far my favorite app. It presents to us much of the best information available to us in our day. Certainly it deserves 5 stars, and credit to all those who contiually work on it to keep it up to date and helpful in every way possible. I just wish the scripture playback mode would continue when my phone goes to sleep. Perhaps this is a phone setting. I listen to the scriptures, especially the Book of Mormon when I run or workout and would like not to pause my workouts to continue to listen. It used to run continuous but now doesn’t. Thank you again though, still my favorite app by far!!!

Amazing wealth of content!. Still working out a few minor bugs but the app is an amazing and useful source of just about anything out there related to the gospel. One thing I'd like is some improvements to the search so that I could filter for media type. Great job though guys. Keep it coming!!! As a footnote; it is embarrassing to me to read the reviews for this app and to see how much complaining, whining, and demanding there is. Obviously this is a “cultural” issue and is not reflective of our doctrine but it looks so petty. This is a free app folks. No one is forcing you to use it. Also, if you had any idea of programming challenges contained in an app of this magnitude you would appreciate what you have been given. The amount of content at your fingers is staggering. What would the pioneers think of you complaining that you have to deal with a few glitches? I’m all for making CONSTRUCTIVE comments and suggestions but unless you are doing your part to improve the situation then be happy with what you have.

Lovely app!. Scriptures in both text and audio format is great! I showed my mom and grandma the audio feature and they loved it! Great way to listen to scriptures on the go. Also, being able to choose many languages and download various languages for the scriptures has been an excellent way to both share the scriptures to my friends around the world and to practice reading in languages that I want to learn. Lastly, I really like all of the notes and bookmark features and any other great features that I may be forgetting about this app. Thanks for making this!

Great resource. I have a suggestion, though.... While I understand the King James Version of the Bible is the de facto translation the Church uses, I would really like the ability to compare multiple translations. I think this would provide readers with a better understanding of the scriptures, and would especially help those who can read the Hebrew and Greek versions—versions considered so important that they’re frequently referenced in footnotes. I imagine there’d be some legal and structural problems that would arise in implementing something like this, but I would love to see it!

Suggestion. I really like listening to general conference talks while I do busy work or when I am actually at work. This got me thinking. I thought it’d be very nice to have a queue feature. Sometimes, I like going through and listening to talks in a specific order or by a specific person. But If there was a queue feature, then that would be more efficient to simply add talks to a queue rather then exiting out of the section in order to find the next one. It’s a minor idea, but I feel like I wouldn’t be the only one to benefit from this. We could queue songs, hymns, and certain talks in a specific way. It’d be extremely beneficial.

Fix Linked Scripture Content. Others have commented but I will add my own. Love the app. But in some recent update the linked scripture references now only show book and chapter not the actual scripture snippets. That was one of the most useful features of the app. We could could quickly review the content of multiple references in one place and then go to the book and chapter for more in-depth study. Now clicking the book/chapter link opens in a new window (with the referenced verse highlighted) but this is not as useful as the previous functionality. Please go back to the previous, useful functionality.

Latest update is terrible. The latest update is frustrating. No matter what open page I’m on when I close the app, it always opens to the default home page instead of the page I closed. The last page I closed is an option at the top to continue reading but when I click the link nothing happens. When I go to the all windows view, the page I want to go to looks like it’s there in the thumbnail but when I click the thumbnail, instead of taking me to that save page it opens the default home page. Again. I have to literally start all over to get to the page that’s supposed to be open. Please fix this terrible change! I want to go back to paper scriptures and the old Ensign with this version!
