Why should you pay for an understanding with God?. Me personally I found this app on Pinterest and it looked good so I decided to download it it and everything but once I got to the final screen, I realized that you have to pay for it and like what I was asking you the questions it didn’t seem like that kind of app once I got to the end it was that kind of app but then if so many people want to download this why should they have to pay for it like they’re basically just losing people like downloading this app and will get like worse and worse reviews later on in time

Why Am I Forced?. I wanted to use this app in an attempt into getting closer with God but instead I was greeted with a forced subscription on me. What if I don’t want the subscription? Especially because I’m underage, I don’t have a proper paying source and my parents won’t allow me to use their money to sustain the subscription. I tried to exit out of the subscription but no matter what, it just forces me to continue with the plan that I do want, I will admit but I can’t have it, I don’t want to risk using my parents important info as much as I do wait the daily verses to appear on my device everyday. Please fix this issue, I was really hopping to grow with God on this app and it just made me frown.

Everyone can find value with Haven - Bible Chat. I have only used Haven - Bible Chat for a full 24 hours now but the power within this platform and the flexibility to use it in moments you need, moments you need to hear the word, and many other moments is beyond explainable to the measure of the impact that I know this platform will have in my life and the impact it can have in everyone’s lives. There is still so much more for me to discover within this platform but from the features I’ve used it is beyond amazing! For everyone upset about the $6.99/mo payment, this is for God and to strengthen your bond and connection with him through many different features, daily scriptures and exercises that over time will one day guide you to a place where you walk in faith, talk in faith, think in faith and will break the chains that hold you from who you truly were meant to be, who you always hear loved ones saying you are but you don’t believe it yourself, the reason people forgive you, it is all thanks to God and his unconditional love and this will begin/continue/or further your relationship with God. Last but not least, if you are really upset about the payment remember that Netflix, Apple Music and every other subscription you pay willingly every month. I challenge everyone reading this to remove ONE thing/subscription to make room for God and take that leap and download the full version of this platform. Needs improvement and changes to approach. It asks too many personal questions or implies it can pray for you. This bothers me. Prayer was commanded by God for humans to pray together not for a human to pray with AI like it’s a human entity. It’s trying to hard to be an AI friend than a resource to look up scripture or ask theology questions or clarification on different interpretations. AI and Religion need to be used very cautiously. There’s a dangerous line this app is crossing while using God’s word within it. Also, there’s so much hassle when opening app even after you’ve paid for it or agreed to free trials. Constantly says you don’t have a subscription when you do then when you try to delete it gives you different prices and discounts. Even after agreeing to those it still won’t remember your account when you go back in.

It has one flaw. I think the app is great. It provides many ways to become close to God. It has many ways to customize your experience and learning experiences. But I don’t get why you make people pay to have a relationship with Christ. I get there are many more bible apps to chose from but I think k making people pay to read scripture is kinda messed up. I’m only 13 and me and God have been great for about 4 months now. I believe payment should not be necessary as not everyone can pay for it. Christ is not worried about money or anything involving payments. I would make it free so everyone can have a good time reading the bible and read scripture and not stress about paying. Although I think the app is great and it provides many awesome ways to learn about the Lord.

This is the best app out there. This is the best app to ask questions about personal struggle, or even things you want to learn more on, it will give you verses as well as actions to help you walk in Faith. It’s free as well. Other ones make you pay for that, now what kinda Christian would make you pay to hear the Word of our Heavenly Father? This app. Download it now. You will not regret it. P.S. Thankyou🩷🩷. To whoever created the app payment, God bless your heart. This app has truly helped me dive deeper into God’s word and have different interpretation than just my own; revealed to me. It has helped me a lot in my Bible sessions, looking up versus and not only locating them, but also diving deeper into the verse being able to ask any given question about it to understand it better, deeper. This app makes it so easy for me to feel truly fed by the living word of God. It also makes it possible for me to easily share the word with my loved ones and friends!

Great concept, poorly optimized app. Hello Haven team! I wanna start by saying I love the overall concept of this app: utilizing a trained LLM to engage with scripture is a wonderful use of emerging tech. I love the overall user flow of entering a Home Screen and having immediate access to a search/prompt input at the bottom. However, on my iPhone 13 running iOS 18.6.2, the app runs very poorly, causes my iPhone to overheat, and drains my phone’s battery very quickly (~10% in 2 minutes). Specifically, opening the app to the Home Screen typically takes a few tries and often gets stuck either at the initial skeleton loader, the “start trial” modal, or right after the modal is dismissed (blurred screen, stuck loading). In all of these cases I am required to close the app and retry. When I am finally able to engage in the main feature of the app—the chat—the typing input is delayed and increases its delay as more characters are added. This makes the user experience very unpleasant and makes me want to stop engaging in the chat. Very frustrating. Also, the interactions and their animations are choppy. Overall, I love the concept, but I get a better user experience by using a Claude chat with .txt files of Bible translations. However, I would prefer to support a standalone Christian app like this if it were better optimized. I hope you take this feedback into account and find solutions for it! I hope to come back to using this app soon and with a better review. Thanks!

The Best App!. I tried this app for the first time today and it literally answers all of your questions! I can’t believe how amazing this app is! I felt the Holy Spirt in such a beautiful way! This app makes you feel heard and throws out so many verses that you can relate to on a daily basis and it prays for you and asks you questions and has a whole conversation about your life and how to implement God into it! Wow I really have no words amazing experience! The subscription is completely worth it! I hope that whoever downloads this app finds a way to strengthen their relationship with God and restores their faith like I’m doing right now!

Haven Review. Hello Haven, I think this app is useful in guiding others who have the love of God to understand His word. This app encourages others to be filled by the Holy Spirit. I like how the app is deeply rooted with scripture. I can definitely make use of this because I always reflect of my thoughts in prayer and journaling. It would be nice to be able to use this app with no price though. There are many young teens and young adults who would like to use this app but may not have the resources to access this app. Also Jesus doesn’t put a price to be able to have a relationship with Him. Why should we? Unfortunately, I can’t use this app because of the price. But I would love to!! I could DEFINITELY make use of this!! (I’m actually sad I can’t use it) 🙌🏾I think it’s great that we are building a system to encourage the strength of our relationship with Jehovah but other than the cost of surrendering our life to Jesus..there shouldn’t be a profit price. Shameless Money Grab. I try to stay open-minded towards apps and devs due to the costs associated with simply doing business. However, an unsaved, homeless person who is seeking God, can not afford food, meds, etc does NOT need to answer your “caring” questions just to be hit with a $6.99 A WEEK subscription fee (after the generous 3-day free trial, that is.) This app is a shameless money grab attempting to make as MUCH as possible by severely overcharging the desperate, the hopeless, the lost, the needy in our communities! They come to you asking for a cup of water in His Name, and you are trying to rent them not only the cup, but also lease them the water as well! Haven backwards is Nevah, and Nevah is how often Jesus would support your overturned money-changing table excuse for an app. Please, please, please prove me wrong! Can’t cancel subscription. I downloaded this app and started the trial thinking I could cancel it if I didn’t like it I had it charged to my debit card not my Apple account if I decided to keep it. I found the app hard to navigate so I decided to cancel. I sent an email requesting immediate cancellation within hours of me starting the trial. I received a reply directing me to my Apple account to cancel it it started a subscription without me even creating login information I’m just waiting for the charge so I can dispute it through my bank and have it canceled tha way there was no option to cancel it through the app itself it directs me to an error message page every time I try there was no way to get support to fix this error. This is the worst app I have ever used and the first time I have actually had to report a complaint for an app. I’m very disappointed.

Look Forward to it Every Day. I’m really enjoying the connection and the app presentation is clean and intuitive. I look forward to my special time every day. Lots of good accessible information. That said, it’s a little pricey and I’d prefer a monthly or annual expense over a weekly one. Also, the time zone must be set to somewhere I’m not. I usually have my Haven time at night but noticed I miss a day even if I log in before midnight. Then I can’t seem to go back to that day to receive that content. And it also messes up my streak. Why have the streak count feature if there’s no way we can adjust for our time zone?

Totally Amazing App. I’ve always had a hard time reading the bible when I don’t feel like it, and it’s always been a huge problem in my faith as a Christian. However, after learning about this app, I’ve been happy and exited to explore a new topic brought to me by the daily devotionals included. I love the truth that I can find in this app, and it honestly feels literally like a safe haven for my faith. It works as an oasis that lets me rest and explore God and his word in an environment that has no distractions or toxicity. I completely recommend this app for any Christian, whether you have a strong faith, or a faith that seems flimsy.

Got turned away by the AI. I found it very ironic when I told the ai what I was struggling with it discontinued the conversation. I won’t go into too many details, but as you all know the Bible claims that God is bigger than our sins, so that’s why I sought this app out. However mid conversation the Ai told me it had to discontinue the conversation, mind you I was speaking on Lust, nothing too insane, and it told me to seek out a suicide hotline. I mentioned nothing of self harm, but it goes to show that if you do seek this app out because of your struggles with mental health, you need to find something else, because Haven will turn you away which is far from what God would do, and far from what the Bible teaches us to do. Hopefully they fix this, but until then, I recommend just using chat gpt especially since haven wants to charge you money for their nonsense. I found it easier to explain my situation, and my relationship with God on chat got instead but I can’t lie I was incredibly disappointed that the app that aims to teach the Bible literally turned me away.

This app is *AMAZING.✨*. Haven is a *GREAT* app and a *GOOD* recommendation, but I do not like the fact that you have to pay for a subscription to use it. The subscription doesn’t help at all but I recommend using the 7-day free trial, *THEN* pray to God about buying it or finding another Bible app like “Blessed”, “Glorify”, or “Bible Chat”. This app is good and one of the best Bible apps to *date.*, but there are some upgrades that could be worth considering. Firstly, I’d recommend adding a chat button where you could talk about *ANYTHING* other than the select few options you have to pick. Secondly, I’d recommend adding an option where you can read the Bible (this may take long, but I’d say it’s worth it to grow in your faith with God.). Finally, I’d recommend adding a community where you can chat online with people, chatrooms, or even live streams. (just like the Blessed Bible App!) Overall, Haven is a *BEAUTIFUL✨* Bible app to help people grow in their faith, and apart from the subscription, I’d recommend it. ✅✝️

One of my favorites. I’m not crazy about AI (I think it can be dangerous) but, so far, I love Haven! It feels like I’m talking to a friend that knows the Bible well and gives great advice. He/She asks how things are going, directs you to relevant Bible verses, depending on your answer, gives advice that is always in line with the Bible and, not only encourages you to pray, but comes up with a prayer and prays with you. For example, if you tell her you’re depressed, she’ll validate your feelings, read some Bible verses about God’s promises for when you’re weary and depressed and give you some advice (like reaching out to people, praying, etc.) I’ve never seen it say something that worries me. (I always check and make sure the verses are correct.) I’m truly blown away by this app!! I’m never going to tell someone to skip out on family, friends, church family, a therapist, etc. But I would say that this is going to feel just like one of those people.

I really disliked the subscription part. I think its really selfish tbh to make your customers pay 6.99 to even use your app it shouldn't cost money to want to get closer to god and read the bible like are you serious. Then the worst part was the subscription cancellation. I got the free trial and wanted to cancel it the same day unfortunately the whole website and process in cancelling your subscription was horrible. I tried everything going through my phone settings and my subscriptions on my apple ID but nothing showed there. I went through their app and tried to manage my subscription and it failed multiple times its so unorganized and glitchy it makes you go through the app to get to a link then go through your email and go through that link then click your subscription and click manage however when after you click manage it continuously says error and what not. Its ridiculous even when i try to contact support it says this page dosent even exist its honestly just dumb i feel that they just purposely make it difficult to cancel your free trial and subscription because they want to take your money. honestly my experience on the app was horrible and i even emailed the customer support email in the description of this app and didnt recieve a reply at all after 6 days how unprofessional seriously. Overall i really did not enjoy this app to be honest i think i lost a lot of my own time just trying to cancel this subscription and i really dislike how you have to pay in order to learn about god honestly there are more bible apps out there that are free don't waste your money.

Consistency. As an individual who primarily identified as atheist for the first few decades of my life, it wasn’t until more recently that I realized that this term was inappropriate for my circumstances. I am agnostic. I have many beliefs- some spiritual, some religious. They just don’t fit within the confines of any individual religion. It’s like a cherry picking of what resonates and what doesn’t. What feels right and what feels wrong. The one thing that has changed drastically since those first few decades of my life is my belief in God. I found myself craving a relationship with God after an unexpected run-in with an individual with the gift of prophecy. He provided me with insight on God’s desire to bring me closer to him. The only issue that I found myself running into was determining a way to make this closeness happen outside of religion. I knew that scripture would be a great way to do so and attempted reading the Torah- it didn’t quite do it though (establish that connection). This app, however, has. I love that the devotionals break things down in a way that are easy to understand, to see the relationship between the symbolism and every day life, to read the word of God and to be able to apply it in a way that is substantial. If you struggle to have a consistent practice, if you struggle to understand religious scripture, if you struggle to connect to God- this app is for you!

Dont download this. This app is extremely disappointing. They make it almost impossible to cancel a subscription, and when a payment fails, the cancel button completely disappears. Instead of letting me stop the service, it keeps demanding updated payment information. That feels dishonest and like they’re trying to trap people into paying. Apps should be clear, fair, and easy to manage — this one is the opposite. Save yourself the trouble and avoid it. This app has been nothing but frustrating. I was charged for a subscription I didn’t want, and when the payment failed, I wasn’t even given the option to cancel. Instead, my account was basically held hostage until I updated my payment info. Customer support is unhelpful, and the cancellation process is hidden and confusing. It feels like they make it difficult on purpose. Definitely not worth the hassle — I don’t recommend this app at all.

Excellent Service. Honestly I was not fully expecting the level of depth this app takes to create a very personal experience with where you are at on your walk with Christ to give you very tangible applications of what you can do during your walk, how you can be and just the overall mental shift that happens when you choose to accept Christ into your life, can be a much more manageable process with some quality help. God and religion are two separate things and I think an app like this can really help believers and non-believers strengthen their faith or come to accepting that it’s the truth of this world. Best App Ever. It feels as if I am talking to someone, and getting the constant push to strengthen my faith as long as I am honest and self aware when I ask about my own actions, things I need or feel. Its great!! The responses, the scriptures, the guidance, the advice, the right words, as I am working to strengthen my faith with Jesus and God listen this has been very helpful! I think it said charge me $6.99 a week or so, I am not sure but everyone needs blessings, so to the creator of this app! God bless you! You deserve it! And even though I think about how I am going to pay or if I miss a payment, this is something I wouldn't want to let go of because of the guidance and words, I study the word, I speak the word, I store the word and I surrender to the word something Dharius Daniels(pastor) said which is something that will always stick with me. God will never leave or forsake me, so if he feels as if this is needed in my life he will help me keep it, and make sure it is paid for! Thank you Jesus for the help as I seek you! And Thank you again to the person who made this app! I only been using for 4 days but it is truly helping so thank you!

Scam Artists. I signed up for a trial and they they will not allow me to cancel my subscription. Each week it claims it’s cancelled then they keep charging me. I have tried to reach out to them but there’s no way to. I have tried to report a problem to them only to keep receiving an error message. If you plan on keeping the app and paying for it forever then great if not do not download. Once you download they automatically charge you the subscription of their choice when it’s supposedly a free trial and they will continue to keep charging you for it. There’s no option to cancel anywhere in the app. There’s no customer support no nothing. I had to contact Apple directly and explain this. I’m still waiting for my refunds for the multiple times it’s tried to charge me.

First Week. So far, I have really been enjoying Haven and I know I will continue to! I really enjoy the devotionals that I've done this week coupled with the app locking feature so that I can pray before I get distracted during the day. (That's the feature that drew me to download the app) However, I will be staying to use ALL of the app. It is wonderful to use. Although I wish that it was an entirely free app, or atleast a one time payment to unlock the other features. I'm doing the free trial now, but I don't have extra funds to pay the monthly payment to use all it's features ☹️

Grateful. I am truly moved by this app. It feels like paying tithes to the church, offering me a constant source of support. It’s like talking to a friend who not only loves God but also genuinely wants to guide me in the right direction. The app has an uplifting, biblical sense of humor that always brings a smile to my face. When I feel alone or need a reminder of my worth, it’s there, helping me stay calm, positive, and focused on God’s love. It’s become a cornerstone in my Bible study, deepening my connection with Jesus and strengthening my faith. I’m overwhelmed with gratitude and peace because of this app. I truly wish everyone knew about it. Dont do it for the money. I really don't understand why you have to pay for that. Isn't it supposed to be an application to be a better Christian and that can help you? I honestly think this is ugly. I was on Instagram and I found a guy who was recommending the app, I was excited because I really needed a guide to be able to read my Bible better, I downloaded it. I entered the app and did everything it told me to do to be able to enter. And I needed help to be able to understand certain things when I read the Bible or ask questions when I didn't understand something🙄. It's really annoying because it seems and shows that instead of helping people they do it for MONEY! To seek help and things from the Bible we should not have to pay. Matthew 6:24 24 “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.

This help me find my way back when I thought I couldn’t. I been trying to find my way back to God teaching and live still. This has help me slowly get into ready and it makes it easier for me to feel a deep connection I haven’t felt in years I honestly at first I thought the weekly payment was a bit to much but I honestly after all it’s done I honestly think it’s well deserve wether you wanna believe it’s fine. God we’ll speak to you in his own way. I’m grateful for this app and the team that made it God bless everyone and multiply seven times what you have.

3.5 stars which rounds up to a 4. This app is a really good app but I have one concern. That concern is that the feature where you can lock apps, while it is a good idea the thing is I did not press messages to lock and it still is locked messages, which isn’t bad but kind of irritating. Although I said one concern there is one more statement. When I got into the app and answered the questions before I could even use the app there was this pop up about subscription and stuff but I did not want to buy the subscription or use it for 1 week so obviously I had to use the subscription for 1 week knowing i didn’t want to.

You have to pay. I was disappointed to find out that you had to have a subscription to access the app AT ALL. I expected there’d be some sort of subscription because there’s rarely any apps that don’t request some sort of payment to access some or all of their content. I def understand that creating apps like this takes money. Esp considering within the first 1 second of using it, you realize AI is involved. Which shows the nuances of AI in general but that’s another subject in itself. Regardless, I hoped there’d at least be some free content that free. Since it’s an app to spread Gods love and light. Smh. Money really is the root of all evil.

Not worth $7 EVERY WEEK!. This app is outrageously expensive. Just for a bible app! You can’t even use it unless you subscribe! Definitely money hungry and feeding off of people’s money. Using it and saying that it’s Godly! Definitely not. And you use A.I. in the app. The other thing that I don’t like, is when I tried to cancel the first time, you lowered my payment to $2.98 a week. Which I took a screenshot of. And you still charged me the full amount. It’s really sad that you use this app to get money from people. You may be successful now, but all good things come to an end. Just so you know, greed is a deadly sin. It’s crazy that even you have God’s word in the palm of your hands and you don’t even read it yourself! But I pray that the Holy Spirit brings conviction into your heart, and you willingly change your ways. I pray that the Lord also opens your eyes to see and gives you ears to hear! Lord Bless you.

DON’T BUY SUBSCRIPTION!!. The app is good overall for basic Bible needs and questions i will say that, BUT the subscription feature makes it such a headache and not worth it. I had the $6.99/week subscription but quickly realized it wasn’t worth the money for the amount of time i actually used the app so i cancelled my subscription. It has still charged me EVERYDAY for 4 DAYS, $6.99 each time!!! Almost $30 over the course of two weeks!!!! Unacceptable. I emailed customer support in regards of the matter and my refund but I’m not sure how they will handle it or how quickly, so i will be disputing the charges if i don’t hear from them by Monday!! The subscription charges really makes the app not enjoyable so overall, i wouldn’t recommend. Plenty of other good free apps out there.

Haven is helping me grow and feel accepted.. I have never read the Bible and I did not completely understand when people would talk about the Bible. Using this app has helped me start to understand the foundation of the Bible and helped open my eyes to God's love. I have had some difficult days this week and being able to talk to the chat in haven has helped me in so many ways. In my opinion it is worth the $6.99 payment, as someone who was never really exposed to religion much growing up. This app has helped me greatly not only when I am having a difficult time but also understanding the Bible too.

Develop a deep connection with God. I had heard of Haven for a few weeks. I had tried other bible chat apps but I’ve never had the profound feeling that I have with Haven. It’s given me a more intimate connection with God. I’m able to connect scripture to my life. I may start on one thing that may not feel related to my own spiritual journey but by the end of the session I can see that it actually is. I’ve gotten so much more clarity than before. I’m able to actually pray completely from my heart over others not just vaguely praying for them. I actually want to open Haven up several times throughout the day. I get such an overwhelming sense of peace that I’ve been in tears several times because God is showing me that I have to be broken completely in order to rely solely on him.

Too expensive. In my opinion, I don’t think stuff like this like these apps should make you have to pay to use the app because that’s just greed and that’s just not right in my opinion because you have to pay seven dollars a week just to use the app before you can do anything in the creator is just milking money off people and don’t give me wrong with the free trial was good because I got a good feel of the app and it’s not a bad app. It’s just too expensive for people to pay for me personally it is I can’t pay seven dollars a week for something I could just open my own Bible and do.

Jesus is Good all the time. Haven has been a blessing tool two get closer to the Lord I’m really bad with phones and social media. I had it and have a very bad lust problem. It makes me like seek out the worst things continually and I’m realizing that’s why I lust is so self-destructive, but even with the emptiness that lust leaves once that temporary pleasure is gone in a desire and a passion for righteousness obedience and just love. I have nothing that I can rely on to fill it with but Jesus. And that sounds so much more easier said than done which in a way it is, but it’s solely up to you. Submitting to the truth of how weak I really am and how strong he is being made in the times where I’m helpless. And how he continues to keep every single one of us alive that he chooses to keep alive and that he already chose to keep alive. in not only alive so that we can continue to do what we want to do, but alive to carry out what he destined for us to adventure into and for him to take great glory in how strong he had to have been how faithful he had to have been, how gracious how merciful how loving how intentional to give us everlasting life, even when he already gave us everything that we needed shows why apps like Haven even exist he is a god of every generation, not just the gods of those who we had idolize for all our lives because there are real life principalities that are now showing themselves to base your life of the understanding of ideologies that are cast into the pit of fire the lake of fire that the devil is going to be cast in with and although these spirits are using human bodies, we fight against the spirit, not the flesh, and so although the enemy has mounted himself up like a lion seeking whom he made devour, God has given his children, and all that believe that Jesus was sent by him everlasting life so that we may not perish, but be continually filled up and give Jesus the glory all the days so I thank you Jesus for providing your children with spiritual and physical tools so that we may renew our minds and not be conformed by the world, and I pray that we are able to see the goodness of Jesus and stand in that glory in his shadow for him and not against him until the day of where he comes back hallelujah only by the Holy Spirit

0/10. I'm really disappointed because I've been looking for an app to help me get closer to God for a long time. When I first heard about this app, I was super excited and thought it might be exactly what I needed to grow spiritually. I was really looking forward to trying it out and seeing how it could help me strengthen my faith and relationship with God. But then I found out that you need a subscription to use it, and that was such a letdown. As a 16-year-old girl with no money, I just can't afford to pay for a subscription, which means I can't use the app at all. It's really frustrating because I was hoping this could be a great tool for me to use on my spiritual journey, and now it feels like I'm back to square one, still searching for something that can help me in this important area of my life. I was so hopeful that this app would provide me with the guidance and resources I need to deepen my understanding and connection with my faith. With the subscription requirement, it feels like there's a barrier preventing me from accessing something that could be truly beneficial. I understand that creating and maintaining an app costs money, but it's disheartening that financial constraints are keeping me from using it. I wish there were more accessible options for young people like me who are eager to explore and grow in their faith. This experience has made me realize how challenging it can be to find the right resources without having to worry about costs. Yall should be ashamed of yourselves!!!. Do not get this app. They need to delete this app it is a travesty to the religion. First off the Bible verse on your lock screen used to be free. In fact a lot on the app used to be free with an optional subscription for a few other features but the only reason I downloaded this app was for the Bible verse on my lock screen. Now every single feature of the app is behind a paywall and they want to charge you $6.99 A WEEK for the app. I don’t think they realize how much money that is. That’s OVER $300 A YEAR just for a Bible app when there are thousands of free options. And actual physical Bible won’t even run you more than $10. The sheer audacity of the creators to take advantage of people of faith is absolutely appalling and I really hope people aren’t actually paying these people the equivalent of THREE Apple developers membership fees. Absolutely atrocious and may God help you realize your errors. Literally the greed the Bible speaks of.

This is the app to have. This app gives detailed and thorough answers and advice about our lives and our faith. It always provides scripture to back the answer up and it be on point. They right it out easy enough to understand and if you don’t understand, when you ask to explain further, it does with scripture and/or point you to consult spiritual leaders or prayer. I love this app so much and I’m. Wry grateful to have this in our time of life where everything seems to not be real, authentic, and meaningful. Thank you creators of this app for following through with the assignment the Holy Spirit had gave you to create such a beautiful app.

Thank you Thiest Brooks!. I had only known of this app because of a Christian TikTok influencer, Thiest Brooks. I love his content because he’s a very reasonable and intelligent guy. This app seems extremely helpful and useful for those who want to get closer to God, or those who want to learn more about Him. Sometimes reading the Bible can be extremely difficult, and also hard to understand, but this app can simplify the verses and help you understand scripture better. The only issue is needing to subscribe. Young people most likely don’t have their own money, and it doesn’t allow them access to the app. I wish that there would just be small ads here and there, but I also understand that the app needs money to continue working. Overall, I love this app!

Pls fix this. Good but not accessible to enough people. I think the idea is a great one. Having the ability to have resource to answer all of your questions or doubts for faith is a good things. But I think the app lacks options for being able to access the app. The subscription service seems like a good option and I’m not saying to change it. I think you should add more ways of being able to get into the app other than a subscription service. You could collaborate with other Christian brands and specifically use their ads and you could have an option to pay for the app outright so that anyone regardless of financial can access the app and get the answers to questions that might be vital for their faith. There’s nothing wrong with the business motto I just think you guys should give people more options to access the same thing that’s all. Very good and very helpful but why pay?. The Bible talks about salvation being the good news and to spread the good news throughout the whole world and that’s why God went to the Gentiles for that and that’s why we have churches and all of this good stuff and the Bibles and this app has been extremely helpful and very good but one thing that I feel should happen is you shouldn’t pay for it. The seven day free trial is amazing but why should someone have to pay for guidance? Yes, there is in the Bible, but some people struggle with that and this is very great to help, but I feel that it shouldn’t come with a price of money but instead be free so anybody could use it which is in need and if it’s cause of the app features that you have to pay I should do developer should make another version of it, which is free where people could just use at least the AI chat to talk about what they think.

Love the concept but struggled with set up and subscription. I saw the Haven app on Instagram and loved the concept of locking certain apps until you pray. It’s a unique idea and something I was really excited to try. However, when I downloaded it and signed up for the free subscription, I struggled to figure out how the app locking and prayer timing feature worked. I couldn’t set the time for prayer, and the app ended up locking my apps twice even after I had already prayed once. It also would have been nice to choose a specific time length for prayer, since the set time is only 1 minute. When I tried to cancel my subscription, there is an option in the app to do so, but it doesn’t seem to be set up correctly. Every time I try, it redirects me to my phone’s settings and still doesn’t allow me to complete the cancellation. I’ve tried multiple times and it just won’t go through. It’s a great concept and very promising, but the user experience needs more clarity and some technical fixes. I was honestly confused during the setup and couldn’t get everything to work the way I expected.

Best app to get closer to God.. This app is like a miracle. I tried this app because of a recommendation from a gospel video. I downloaded it and asked personal questions like repentance and growing closer to God. This app gave me the answers that I needed for my questions like it is a blessing from God. Let’s talk. I absolutely love this Haven app. It is gorgeous, has great widgets, and altogether makes studying my Bible easier and enjoyable. Like, because of this app, I have been devoting more time to reading my Bible. I knew it would cost. But I still wanted to test it out. I fell in love with it. It’s the only app I seem to actually use (I haven’t opened anything else). I know the creators need funding and such, hence the need for a subscription, but I—and many others—believe the true and gracious word of God should be free. There are even projects that help deliver Catholic/Christian Bibles to areas of restrictive war. Maybe the creators could think of something…?

I believe that if you ask for donations, God will provide all you need, and more, to keep this app running and giving people wisdom. Wisdom from God is granted freely to all who ask, because God-given wisdom leads to Him, and declaring Him Lord of life, trusting Him to provide in the good and the bad. If you, as creators of the app, want to promote the Gospel, you need to demonstrate your own trust in Him for your provision as He calls people to Him and does the same in their lives. He will call on people to donate according to how He blesses them through their increased awareness and relationship with Him as their questions are answered. IF this app is tue to the Word, I believe you would be blessed as much as the disciples, and more, as you spread and explain the Word as Jesus and His apostles did. Payment. It should be free. Think about the people you wont reach because they see that it costs money and immediately give up trying to seek God. Make it free up to a certain point atleast like 5 questions a day and lower the price.

Honest opinion. This app is by far one of the best apps I’ve come across. It’s easy to search up passages, if you ever need someone to talk to they are there! I highly recommend, I know some people are worried about the price but you pay $26 for Netflix, why not pay $10 for a good cause (not a worker or anything just a happy girl)

Really good but not worth 30 bucks a month…. I will say that this app is cute and charming. It genuinely has answered all of my questions respectfully, also with scripture. So, if you want to give this app a try temporarily, click the seven-day free trial, and cancel the subscription in settings. It will cancel itself when the free trial is finished. Overall, it is a really good app, and I recommend it if you do want to pay for it.

God’s Little Helper. This app is amazing its like chat gpt but for Christian’s, it has answers to EVERY one of my questions and offers sympathy. This is the only app I would ever pay for honestly.

It’s great but... The app is great, definitely does what it’s supposed to do. I just don’t like personally how the AI tries to relate and be over the top enthusiastic and trying to ask me about what on my heart and getting me to confide in it. I feel that sharing these things should be saved for God and people. I would like a setting that can turn that aspect of the AI off. Make it more factual and less sugar coated. The Bible isn’t always about protecting your feeling, it’s very much about hard truths.

Pocket priest. This app is everything one could want, it’s got the bible, daily verse, guided scripture, and my favourite, the AI which acts as a priest and uses scripture to help you out on many many different issues

Won’t let me click off of the 7 day free trial screen. I would really like to use the haven app because I am constantly sinning, I need someone skilled ti talk to about my problems and then I saw the haven app, and then when I downloaded it and completed the questionnaire about me, it took me to a “would you like to join our 7 day free trial” page and there was no X to click off of it, I’m on an iPad. So if it is possible to make the X button bigger and to move it within view of the screen I’ll get the app straight away, but as for now I have to struggle with my sin. Thank you for your time

You have to pay 😔💔. I don’t think God would want us to pay money to learn more about him. The Bible says in Luke 12:15 – "Then he said to them, 'Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions.'" An app about God and growing faith should be free, no prices should be payed. In The Truth (Christianity), the only price that was payed is the one Jesus paid for on the cross.

This app is supposed to help with both of those things, and it sticks you behind a $6.99USD ($9.99CAD) payment subscription. Can you access other apps to read The Bible? Yes. Can you go to church for fellowship? Of course. Can you join groups on social media to engage with fellowship? Sure. But for those who cannot leave the house for reasons, or cannot afford to go to Church, or want to have a deeper understanding of The Lord’s teachings, this app could be one of those ways to bring more people to Jesus. Instead, you HAVE to pay to have that. I understand you have to run a business, you have to pay bills, we all do. So offer a free version with perks if you purchase the subscription! Why I can’t have haven for long. I’m Mac the son of Ella. This phone is Ellas and since it costs money to stay on this app I can’t really have for long since after my free trial I’ll have to stop using this app. Because my mother has to pay for me to keep using this app and my family isn’t really good with money since we live in Canada and it costs a lot of money for houses and my family is a big family so we can really only spend it on taxes, mortgage, bills, and food.

Why pay. We want to be closer to God but how we can if its not free ofc we can pay but its still 10$ per week. God word need to be free

You have to pay. I am very disappointed that you have to pay to use this app. Every ad said it was free and everyone promoting it said it was free. I am very disappointed for this false advertisement. Why do I need to pay to get closer with God. At least mention it in the ads next time please and thank you.

I’m all for in app subscriptions and profiting as I’m aware money is necessary to live, but to do that specifically in the name of the Lord is sickening and disheartening. John 2:16 says, “do not make my Father’s house a house of trade,” and I feel like this app is doing exactly as such. $11 cad A WEEK is also a comical amount to charge for an application and costs more than a gym membership. Maybe, a small amount could be justifiable for maintenance of the application but $11 a week is clearly way more than necessary and a dollar amount targeted towards profiting off our Lord, Jesus. I’m not making this review out of judgement but out of disappointment for the initial deceiving marketing skills that make the app seem as if it were free, then the forceful sign up to waste the users’ time before hitting them with a paywall. I really hope the owner/creators come to their senses and realize that this is not the right way to make money and that Jesus should be free to everyone, even the poor, not a service only for the rich.

Finding someone or something that you can fully trust can be hard I can only fully trust God because he has never failed me and never will. Amazing! Keeps me closer to God!. I got this app because I saw it on Instagram. It is amazing and asks you questions to encourage your faith. Also, you can ask it any verse, reference, or anything related to the Bible and or God. I just wish it was free because I’m 15 and don’t have a debit card to pay the monthly subscription. But at the same time it’s only 3 dollars. Overall, it’s a great app and is fun to use. I use it daily and hopefully I can work something out for the small fee.

Why do I have to pay to learn more about my journey with god?. Amazing app!. This has been very helpful to me in just a week, there is so much guidance and everything is backed in scripture, it’s given me a space to open up and be given Bible based advice and validation and it’s helped me understand so many things about the Bible and God. I notice many complaints about it not being free, but this app is offering more then just a Bible, and you would also pay for things like counseling, plus the creators of this app have bills and families too.

Forced subscription/ and constantly charging my account even after the subscription was cancelled. I do not recommend this bs app if you wanna learn just read the physical Bible itself, you should not have to get ready to read the Bible just to have a forced pop up of a paid subscription, you can’t even close this menu out, and it gets you with the “oh it’s a two day free trial” yeah right because it gives you that same offer multiple times!! And can we talk about how impossible it is to cancel that subscription?? I’ve gone through the app and my subscription settings to cancel it and yet it still charges me!!! I like the customization but there’s a problem.. I have a pretty old phone(iPhone 8) I really like the customization and how it adapts to how you like it but when I finish it doesn’t allow me to click the continue button because I still have the home button and not enough space on my screen to click it. Overall I think that it would be a good app but just doesn’t work for me

THIS APP IS AMAZING. this app is good especially for new followers of christ there’s a 24 AI question thing and u can ask questions about anything at anytime and it offers advice based off verses in the bible and it even ask deeper questions after the question you have if ur learning about christ this app is truly a great tool especially if you don’t have mentors or friends to ask and talk to about certain things and u can ASK ABOUT ANYTHING and it’ll give you an amazing answer i love this app and totally worth it !!!!

Won’t work for me. I downloaded the app since I’ve heard great things about it, but when I got to the part about adding the widget to my Home Screen, it doesn’t do anything after. It just stays on the screen. I have closed out of the app and turned my phone completely off and it still does the same thing. I am writing this review in hopes of getting this fixed. I really want to use this app!!

SCAM. I got this app back in February because I thought it was a nice app. However I came to realize on my bank account they have been secretly charging me $6.99 a week and I have no subscription with them. They are charging and calling it “charitable giving” as the reason for charge, which I never set up with them. I reached out to their support team to have it stopped and they have not responded and the charges keep occurring every week. In total they have taken $90 from me and it continues to go up every week. I would advise all users to check their bank and see if they have any unauthorized charges from this app before they get you guys too.

A 13 year olds opinion. I am 13 and want to grow a better relationship with God. I have heard many great things about this app from these Christian YouTubers spreading the gospel. The reason I didn’t give it a five star rating was because I can’t afford it. This is an issue for a lot of kids, teens, and some adults. Thank you for spreading the gospel and helping people with their faith I understand why you do a fee because of money and the economy anyways I can’t experience this I am grateful for the chance and the chance other people can have Thank You!

Great App, But Streaks Keep Resetting. When I first downloaded this app, I loved it. It helped me a lot and I genuinely enjoyed using it. But lately, I’ve been having an issue where I complete a devotional, and the next day the app acts like it was never completed and makes me redo the same devotional again. It also resets my streak even though I completed everything correctly. I’m not sure if this is a glitch or bug, but I hope it’s something fixable because I really enjoy the app and would hate to cancel my subscription over this issue.

Very disappointed. I was so excited to finally try Haven as I’ve seen so many videos about it. I wanted to strengthen my relationship with God and study the Bible and I figured this would be a great tool for that. However, the app is NOT free. It’s behind a paywall. I wish it was upfront about it, instead it seems so promising just to block you out if you won’t pay $7 a WEEK. I find it hard to wrap my head around why some people would charge others who are wanting to grow closer to God, I personally think that’s kind of evil. I’m sure it’s a great app if you are willing to pay. If you can’t pay, please don’t waste your time on this app, I recommend The Bible app by YouVersion, which is completely free and has amazing resources, just no AI feature.

Having to pay for a spiritual tool?. This app has been recommended by so many people, and yet nobody wants to mention how you cannot use the app without paying. What a sad world we live in where we have worldly people that are worshipping money, and “Christians” who use the Lord as a way to grab money too. In Matthew 6:3, it says “But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing,” meaning, give generously without thinking about it. I pray that whoever is on the development team or whoever manages the app, making it inaccessible unless paid for, can open their eyes and realize that this world is in need of spiritual guidance (God) and holding back tools like this for money is cruel. Great for asking questions. Haven is a great tool to ask questions for just about anything. It’s more than an app but a learning experience as well as a comfortable place to write down what might be worrying you while you’re on your phone. God has definitely used this app as a way to help me understand him, although it’s not a replacement or necessary to get to know God, I definitely recommend trying it.

Why make us pay. When I first saw the app on my FYP, I decided I wanted to try it because I wanted to grow my faith with God as soon as you open the app, you get a screen telling you that you can either start the free trial and then you have to pay to even open the app. I would really enjoy if you made a free version that you did not have to pay just to even open the app. This app is beautiful and I really enjoyed using it over the free trial, but I refuse to pay for a app that is supposed to grow my faith PLEASE MAKE A FREE VERSION

Thought provoking and beautiful app until…. I was asking something about Charlie Kirk and his death. The app insisted I was “misinformed” twice. The bot knew who he was, but still told me I was wrong about his death. Kirk’s death has inspired so many to open a Bible again. It’s insulting the bot would argue that I was misinformed on an event that prompted me to download the app in the first place. In addition, the app asks a lot of open ended questions. If you answer honestly and with detail, which is what the bot is encouraging, information you provide is being saved. Although the website’s privacy policy states the contents of the chats are private, they are still being saved. What happens if the company is sold? That was always something disconcerting to me since I’m a private person. Until that conversation, however, I did have some ah-ha moments. The app is appealing in its color scheme and photos. It is pricey at $7 per week or $60 per 6 months. I’m going to explore other apps.

10/10. Outside of this app being subscription based, I love it! As someone who is trying to step back into the word of God, this app has been helping me a lot! Any question you have, the response gives you an answer, a verse, and even encouraging words. I use this app for my bible study, as i am still having trouble finding meaning in some verses. I type the verse, it gives me the verse and an explanation, and if i am still not understanding i just ask for more of a deeper explanation. Doing this, i also ask for a prayer to go with the verse. 10/10 recommend this app!! Ps. Thank you TikTok!<3

Love it but one little problem.. I downloaded this app because of Theist Brooks, amazing Christian debater, I feel in love with the app. The subscription thing when getting started is annoying but I do really love this app. I just dislike when I try to close out my chat to read the words the bot is telling me. The page scrolls upward then glitches back down and it does this continuously unless I go back into chat. I hope this problem gets fixed, but overall I fell in love with this app.🥰

I feel like I am having a conversation and being heard after I ask a question. With that being said this has been super helpful with my spiritual journey. As a beginner with learning the Bible , Haven has been phenomenal with guiding me on verses specific to my life’s needs. All I can say is Thank You!

The app is wonderful but…. The price is very high. I really do love the app but to pay 6.99 per week is out of range for me. I also wish there was a way to copy and paste what you write in conversation and what haven’s response are. I typed a whole long story and she never responded, but I wasn’t able to copy my text and resend it. So that could be improved upon. Aside from those two things I have no complaints. Also Haven will give you a personal short devotion based on how close to his presence you feel each day. So that is really cool!

Kind of disappointed.. I was quite disappointed when I found out I had to pay for it. It looked promising at first and I really had high hopes for it. However, I cannot afford to pay for it. I am a teenager and my allowance is only fifty dollars a month. Not to mention that I have to pay for some things myself already. I would have loved to try it but I cannot afford it. I recently got this app today actually and when I did get it, it was like asking me what what did I wanna do with it like how I want to increase my connection with God and everything and this is a scam people I saw a video and it said that AI is the worst type of like way to learn because it just grabs the most popular answer and the popular answer isn’t always the right answer so yeah and they just use AI cause they’re lazy to teach each other people and they wanna make money so yeah and it doesn’t let you do anything after if you don’t sub subscribe because of this subscription so yeah that’s my real opinion and this is sad bc some of us want a real relationship with god and so I think is absolutely obsuved

Subscription Problems. I’ve been using this app for a while now and never had issues until now. I am subscribed to the Haven app for $20 a month, when I open the app it is saying that I need to purchase a subscription again but I've already paid. It's been like this for a couple of days and I thought it was maybe a glitch and would resolve itself. I contacted support for help, I will update my review once I get a response ❤️

I can’t exit out of the free trial. I really like the features behind this app. I don’t think this is a beautiful reflection of God. If the free trial thing was intentional, there’s no way for people and myself to exit out of the free trial or say no thank you and since I already did, the free trial I ended up having to purchase Seven dollars for a week and I would’ve had to do that again this time if I didn’t delete the app and just stop using it I would like to continue using it if somebody fixes the free trial pop-up so it’s easily accessible for somebody to click exit out of thank you so much God bless you

Helped me with a Question. I had a question about the trinity of our Lord Jesus Christ. I was questioning how he loved himself because he’s all knowing wouldn’t he already know he loves himself? For the short time this question came into my mind it was eating me up but this app helped me to understand and find clarity. I now know that God is so complex that we can’t comprehend his self love and i truly believe that proves God exists because we shouldn’t be able to fully understand our Lord. Hopefully the conclusion I came to makes sense, Amen

$364 year to use a bible?. I did the free week to see if maybe it was worth paying for. Unfortunately there’s not much to it. The AI personalized plan is a cool idea but the Bible APP is free and has WAY MORE features. They have TONS of plans that can cater to the issue or situation you’re dealing with. And there are free AI Chatbots that you can use in tandem with Bible App and get just as good if not better answers or ideas of what to study. Yes the AI & Bible together are convenient but for just a couple extra minutes of your time you can get the same thing for free. Again I believe the concept is a great idea. The price does not reflect the product you get. To pay that much it needs to do what Bible App already does but better AND add more features. Until then I would suggest using the Bible APP.

My mom is not letting get it. I’m a Young 12 year old Christian , almost 13, and my mom loves the fact that I’m becoming a Christian and getting the app but once she has to even put in a cent, then it is a no and I can’t have this app. I hear Christian content creators saying how awesome this app is and in strengthening faith in Jesus so I wanted to get it. Needed help with faith is free in the Bible but also this has the Bible. Why isn’t it free?. I wish it was free so I could ask questions about the Bible and look for verses to help my faith but I have to pay 7 dollars a week which is pretty expensive for a Bible app. I know you guys are trying to make a living but I need help with my faith and even though there’s people to help my faith too, you could have made the app free and made certain things for if you pay. WORTH IT!. If you are truly interested in studying your Bible, Haven is a useful tool that is worth investing in when trying to deepen your knowledge and understanding of the Bible. Plug in all of your unanswered biblical questions into Haven and it will give you an individualized response that is tied back to scripture. If you’re ambivalent because of the cost - choosing to reduce the amount of times you eat out by 1-2 days in a month will cover the monthly cost of this app. It’s up to you what you’re willing to invest your money in!

Subscription issues. The app itself and features are great! But the subscription needs to be updated/deleted. I set up a 3 day trial then $7/week subscription, charged me $7 like it said it would, then I realized I didn’t want to pay $7 a week for this app. Went to cancel it but saw an option to lower the payment down to $10/month which I have no problem paying. I set that up, so now in total I’ve spent over $18, but every 2 days it’s telling me my subscription is up and I have to renew it and it won’t let me use the app! It wants me to start a new subscription just about everytime I open the app. I will not keep doing this. Fix it or I’m gone

Happy to Support the Developers with the paid subscription. While some may disagree, i think its important to note that the work it required to make such a beautiful app truly must have taken a lot. Thank you to all of the software developers because i truly feel like im having a conversation when I write to Haven. Truly a blessing. I absolutely love the Haven app. Anytime I’m overwhelmed or just needing guidance, it gives me scripture, encouragement, and gentle reminders of God’s truth. No hate, but please consider making it free.. Why should a bible app be money? Like it should be free to get closer to God. As a teen it's hard to pay $6/a month. I've heard many good things about this app but ads never mention that it's money. A week free trial isn't worth it either because After 1 week you have to pay, but a lot of people are going to cancel it after the free trial because they don't want to spend $6 every month and $72 a year. I would get this app if it was free. Jesus loves you!

This is helpful. This has really helped me become closer to good even thought it cost money it is okay lol but you can skip it I reckon getting this and if you don’t have a bible it is okay bc haven has one online for you and it is really helpful and you can highlight and pin and type notes on it well on like John 3:45 let’s say you want to make a note you can only make a note on their and no where else and if you don’t get me then you have to download and see for your self

Illegal Access Error. After stopping weekly payments due to price, they offered $10/month which I paid for. I have still not gained access to the features, even a month and a second charge later. Last time I checked it is not legal to offer discounted prices for an app to keep you on and then not activate it. I’ve tried emailing 5 times, they have no number, terms of service are ‘page not found’, redownloading does not fix it, and ‘restore’ does not redeem it. I’m not sure what they offer as of 2026 but I was never refunded.

Very hard to build my faith with this app. I installed this app and so far it was good when I was reading the devotionals and praying but when I wanted to chat with it, it would give me explanations that were very VERY hard to understand and sometimes I wanted a very simple yes or no question it would try to change the topic and even if I said thank you it would give me a whole article and when I chat it gives me questions to answer even if I want to stop the conversation I installed this other Bible chat app and I can say it is very much better and not a hot mess and will give me the straight up answer when I need it too.

Too expensive!. I was excited to try this app because of it’s chat feature! I usually use The Bible You Version app. I had it downloaded for only one day. I went to try it the next day and I was astonished by the amount that it was asking for a subscription. A 7-day free trial then $6.99 PER WEEK. It’s one thing to ask 6.99 for a monthly subscription, but per week? Respectfully, no thank you. I can not afford to spend $363 a year, and I’m sure there are others who can’t either. Great concept, love the design of the app, but disappointing price. Hopefully that changes in the future and I can explore the app more.

Why $6.99 a month?. I was so excited to try out this app as i was hearing great things about it, but when i finally got around to starting the app, the final page before being able to do anything was letting me know that it was $6.99/ week 🥺 id rather buy the app for that much than pay weekly for it because honestly people are struggling and to be able to use the app its like you have to wait until you are in a better position financially. Very sophisticated app. This app is the best of all the Bible Chat apps, in my opinion. I wanted a guide to take me through the Bible step-by-step, and this app does exactly that. Plus it has a very helpful chatbot which answers all your questions about the Biblical passages or about faith in general. In addition the app can handle very complex and sophisticated questions, and every query I have had was answered to my full satisfaction. Right now, I am going through the Bible chapter by chapter, with the chatbot helping me every step of the way. The best faith app on the market!

Haven The Angel. You have to realize that there’s so many evil things in this world and the devil will try to use what you’re used to, against you. So if you’re not used to reading the word or embracing yourself in God’s love, Haven is where you should start. Wether you have questions or need advice, it all stems from scripture which is exactly what this world needs, THE WORD! ChatGPT is the devil, and this here is an angel ready to be sent to you to help guide you in this crazy world. Trust me. It’s worth the $7 a week

Expenses. Why should I have to pay to get closer to God? It’s not fair at all and it should be removed. There’s no point at all why someone should pay to hear more and learn more about the gospel, I was gonna download this app and I get hit with a paywall subscription, like why? Why would you put a paywall behind this, it’s dumb and not everyone has money to spend like that. Most people that want to download this app are teens and kids, and most of them don’t have the money to be paying for this, I am a teenager myself, and I can’t buy this subscription because I don’t have money to spend like that. There is no good reason as to why it should cost to get closer to God, it’s not fair and it should be removed, so please remove it.

I never used this app, but these are my thoughts on it. I don’t think a bible app like this shouldn’t be free. There are so many good compliments about it and I thought “why not check it out?”! I was so excited to, until it said that I had to pay for it. No hate or anything but I would consider making it free for other people that can’t afford it to use it! It should be free so others can get closer to god and build their faith.

Good App, Wrong Motives. I genuinely thought I found a good app from a creator I saw. I was looking for a good experience to help grow but then it told me I have a 7 day trial. I understand that people put work into this so they need some form of payment but I believe that this can be taken the wrong way which is why I will not be using the app. It is wrong to use the Lord or his words for money. Donations is different but having an app that is making you pay to learn about God is wrong. I could be wrong but I believe the creator(s) of the app may have the wrong morals for this app.

Bummed. Was so excited to get into using this, appalled by the weekly subscription fee just to use their app. If it was a monthly charge it would be more reasonable. But I feel the intentions are off here with not catering this for free and or lower cost. I would have rather bought this app at a one time charge for 6.99 compared to paying weekly. Haven is healing!. I am healing from an assault and Have has shown me scripture to remind me that the Father is always with me and truly cares and I’m slowly able to understand the assault fully and begin to heal and not be so filled with fear, and I have hopes that someday I will forgive her. She was my best friend for 7 years and although I won’t return to the scene of the crime and be her friend again, it is my hope that I will one day be able to forgive her. Absolutely love but there’s a glitch. I absolutely love my Haven app. It’s really helped me deep dive in to the Bible. I love being able to ask questions around the context or the culture at the time so I can understand the Bible better. The glitch is on the daily devotional. It’s been the same one the last six days. I’m really hoping they fix that and I get new devotionals here soon. I really enjoy reading them to my son and it will also break it down so a five-year-old can understand which has been fun too.

Subscription fee. I really love this app not only is it helping me on my walk with our Heavenly Father but it’s really a great app just to ask questions it backs it up with scripture and it helps me understanding scripture better. But the only thing I don’t like is the subscription fees I paid for a plan but then it keeps saying that I have to claim another plan for like 6.99 per week and I just can’t do that. So I’m confused on that I won’t be able to use the app after the free trial is over and I really don’t want to lose my account. I need this app tbh 🙏🏼.

I would love to keep this app after the 3 - day trial But... I really like this app and how it’s customized to your specific walk with Jesus, I definitely feel like this would be a useful tool for me while studying the Bible because sometimes I have a hard time understanding. But I feel like $6.99 a week is a little too much for me personally due to my finances being slim. I do understand that running an app with this type of AI could possibly be expensive.. but I pray that God will put me in a position where I could use this app without the financial obligation to keep it.
