Well Organized. This app is amazing at keeping your progress. The issue I used to have with the vast available content from the Bible project was how hard it was for me to keep up with all my progress. This app saves your spot and also categorizes the videos in order of series, which makes it ideal for watching them in the order that they are intended. Also the podcasts can be fairly long, so being able to take breaks and return to the exact moment where you left off, makes it possible to easily go through the podcasts without loosing your spot. I would 100% recommend this app to anybody who has a desire to expand your knowledge and insight of God’s Word.

Must have!!. I believe that this is an amazing resource and Bible studying app for anyone! It’s easy to navigate, it’s engaging, and it’s full of so much rich information. At this point, the only 2 things I feel like could make this better is 1, having more translations of the Bible and 2, making it available for downloading on MacBook’s- these 2 things would just make it more accessible to people, at least more so than it already is. Easily my favorite new app.

Tim Mackie, you are wrong, teaching false GOSPEL. Tim Mackie...You said quote " It teaches that homosexuality as an “orientation” is normative; Christians can have strong, romantic, sexual feelings for people of the same sex. As long as they don’t actually have sex, they are not sinning.... " Truth: “But I say to you, that whoever looks on a woman to lust after her, has committed adultery with her already in his heart. Matthew 5:28 If you look at a a person with lustful interest (whether gay or straight) your are already sinning, even without having sex with them. Truth: Do you not know that the unrighteous and the wrongdoers will not inherit or have any share in the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived (misled): neither the impure and immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor those who participate in homosexuality? 1 Corinthians 6:9

LOVE IT♥️just a few little things. I absolutely LOVE the app!!! I have been looking forward to it and I just finished my first study on it. It was really nice! Also, before I get into a few things, the timing for the app release was nice: I go back to school in 2 days. I think it would be nice to have some soothing music when you open the app, but not when you're watching a video or reading the Bible. I think it would also be really nice to have a like linked dictionary to certain words, although it is beneficial for us to do some research on our own. I love how everything has a nice clean look and how it's set up though. Thank you!! I can tell you worked really hard on it and I appreciate it😊!

Wonderful. I never write reviews but I had to for this app. Not only did it make me happy that all features were of amazing quality and detail to help me actually study the Bible in detail, but it is all free too. Many Bible study apps limit your ability to learn and stay inspired because they ask you to pay for certain features. But here you have EVERYTHING you need plus little quizzes to make sure you actually learned something. Everything is organized and kept short. Absolutely love it!

Oodles of Content. Oodles, I mean *oodles* of content in this app. There’s so much content here that I still feel like I’m figuring the ends-and-outs of it all. So far I’ve completed a class (Noah to Abraham 👈 you even get a “Certificate of Completion” when you finish 🙂), and lately I’ve been working through the Torah Journey. All of the resources here greatly assist in my contemplation of Scripture. If you’re wanting to become a card carrying “Bible nerd”, this app is the first place I’d point you.

Thankful. The Bible Project app is wonderful and I always enjoy learning through it. It’s very helpful the way they have shown the movements in the Bible and the way we can work through the journey, skill, patterns, style and structure sections of the app. It’s fun to look for the repeated words in reading and collect charm or I forgot what they’re called, but I really like it. It helps me stay enthusiastic while I read and of course it helps me see the repeated words. I’m so thankful for the app and I highly recommend it to everyone.

Downloads keep disappearing?. Overall, I love the app, but I am having a weird issue where I download episodes of the podcast and then when I go to listen they are no longer downloaded. I like to listen on my commute so this is proving difficult. I checked it today at home and it said it was downloaded and then the second I was not on WiFi, said it wasn’t. Any suggestions? Because I love that the podcast is annotated and it would be a bummer to listen elsewhere.

A Review of the BibleProject App:. This app is a great app to use if you need help reading the Bible. There is (what used to be) a straightforward path that you can go on, and now there are rectangles… but I would like to see the path again! These are going to help you through the Torah (Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy) by having you trace themes throughout it. You can also access their video library, and also podcasts. There are more, but for all of you who are considering downloading this app, I’ll keep them as a surprise! That's my review of the BibleProject app.

See the Bible more like it was intended!!!. Not all of us are going to be taking theologian level classes or learning Hebrew and Greek, that once was a disadvantage to those that wanted to get a deeper understanding of the Bible. The question is how did the authors intend on us seeing and consume these masterful works. This App is opening a door of understanding and perspective that can help us all, do that thing we are all called to do, share the story of Jesus. We believe that the Bible is a unified story that points to Jesus.

Renewing of the mind. It is incredible that this treasure trove of knowledge is available for free and in such a creative, intuitive format. I have learned so much through the Bible Project in its different forms, and God has used that to deepen my relationship with Him and open my eyes to truth I could not have found on my own. But this app is also welcoming to non-Christians who are curious about the Bible. It provides cultural, historical, and linguistic context for these human stories and much timeless wisdom.

Next Level. Yesterday I hit a milestone of reading the Bible in a year. I had used The Bible Project’s one year plan found on the Youversion Bible app. While in the NT, I decided that when I was done I wanted to do an in depth study of Acts. Day 1 and this new app is already bringing my study to the next level. Multiple translations right within the app and embedded videos in the chapters and verses make this a marvelous tool as I grow in relationship with our God. A sincere thanks to all that funded and developed this hub of resources.

Awesomeness. The Bible Project has impacted many for years! They’re so scholarly and amazing at looking at the context of the Bible for whatever passage it may be, and context determines meaning. Most translations you read, be it The Message, NLT, NIV, KJV, NKJV, etc—as long as it’s faithfully translated and interpreted from the Greek as best it could be (I’ve taken Biblical Greek classes myself), or you’re background or experience, the Bible Project has made it simple yet impactful for people to experience the Bible in a powerful way. I love that they were finally able to make this happen! Can’t wait to start reading my Bible in this way and engage in increasing my passion and knowledge of the Bible—ultimately, further deepening my relationship with God.

Content Is Outstanding…App Is Only OK. First off, nothing has been more helpful to my understanding and passion for the Bible than BibleProject. Not even my seminary education. Their content is simply outstanding. Content is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ But. As an app, this is sub-par. It’s clearly some sort of web-based tech. React Native maybe? The podcast player is pretty basic and buggy. Back buttons are missing. I can’t sign in. It just doesn’t *feel* right most of the time. I’m a native iOS developer who’s really picky about some of this stuff, so I’m sure most people won’t care as much…but I care, and it makes me sad that the app isn’t as good as I feel like it should be. App is ⭐️⭐️

This is a skill based learning and growth experience!. I’ve been a huge fan of the Bible project videos, podcasts, and teachings for the past few years. Though out this journey I thought Tim and Jon gave us so many great resources within their creativity and skills. However, the Bible project app really took everything and compiled it into a very interesting structure. It is a skill based learning and growth experience! I started this app this morning and have actually wanted to continue it (not feeling tired,lost,or bored). This app is very helpful and useful to teach listeners to be good readers. I am appreciative for such a well thought through app that is extremely intentional with its purpose!

DOWNLOAD NOW you will not be disappointed.. This app is extremely creative aesthetically formatted (if that makes sense) it just doesn’t look boring, it’s aesthetically pleasing to look at. It basically breaks down the Bible so you can understand it. Especially the lovely video illustrations. Theres podcast videos, which is essential for when you’re doing a chore or something else you just listen to it while you are being productive and even includes the Bible that you can read on your own. It is ONE app with everything you need. It's incredible. It needs more recognition!

Praise Yahweh. I’m very thankful for the work you all have put in on this app, this year I overdosed on fentanyl and was found dead, I was later revived at the hospital and put in a comatose state to see if I was going to wake up. They tried for 2 days to see if I could breathe on my own to no luck. On the 3rd day I came out of the coma completely fine, now even better than ever that the lord has taken my addictions away and continues to add to my life. I am so thankful for y’all ,and great full to have an almighty god that loves us

Love the content but users need help. I’ve loved your content and support you all with enthusiasm. I’m wanting to make this app be the focus for my year. However, the navigation is a maze. Can you all help the uses a little on how to go about using it? It appears to take you in many directions and I lose track of where I am. I have limited time to do my study and want to stay focused. Perhaps that is not the intent of this app?

I don’t write reviews. This app is incredibly well designed. Just reading through and looking at features in awe of how well they have integrated helpful themes and organized the story into movements you work through at your own pace. Plus, deeper dives available if you want… clearly I’m geekin, but it’s such a gift to the biblically illiterate type of Christian culture that’s is predominant in America. Yet it’s not merely an educational tool… it’s inviting us into the story. To experience Scripture like it’s designed to be experienced. Absolutely, beautiful.

I never leave reviews, but…. Seriously, this app is really great. I’ve been reading the bible everyday for about 12 years now, but I REALLY appreciate the different perspective the journey part of the app gives. E.g I knew bible verses and chapters were added later, but I still habitually viewed the scriptures in that lens instead of attempting to view the scriptures in “movements”. I’m still new to the bible project app, but I am excited to explore what else the app has to offer. Side note to developers: Awesome UI, it is very easy to navigate. Dark mode is easy on the eyes 💯

Best Bible Study App Available. This app is amazing. The BibleProject has done a great job of cultivating a format that allows the user to “marinate” in Scripture instead of “microwave” devotional bites. The knowledge checks offer a way to monitor learning without seeming like you’re checking off boxes. The links feature paired with the videos and podcasts allow for a deeper understanding of biblical themes. In the future, I would like to see an audio option to listen to Scripture and the ability to invite others study in groups together. These options would enhance the learning experience while offering accountability and community.

Amazing resource, practically a free seminary education in your pocket. BibleProject has been an amazing resource for my walk with God. Their free videos, blog posts, podcasts, and classroom have taken my understanding of the Bible to a level that I never thought I would have. The BibleProject app takes all of these resources and puts them into a program that will teach you how to read the Bible in ways that can change your entire relationship with the Bible. I will admit it is a bit confusing to figure out what you need to do to start, but once you start the “Journey” and figure out how to get going, it is pretty cool to see the biblical patterns in real time as you read the Bible. The app works best used individually, but I’m sure some creative groups can use this app for group studies. I’m excited to see how the app grows in complexity as my understanding grows more, and BibleProject adds more and more cool stuff. If you desire to grow in your understanding of the Bible, this app is a must have!

Amazing and Cohesive! Would love to see an NRSV edition of scripture though. I have loved listening to the Bible Project podcast, watching their videos, and even doing their one year Bible reading plan over the past year of my life, but I never knew what I was missing until I finally had it all in once place! Not that navigating between apps and websites to view their content was a problem before, but I love that I can access everything at once, cohesively, and I also love that the podcasts have been sorted by topic. In addition to being a solid library of the resources the Bible Project has, the app is also beautifully designed and easy to navigate. My only complaint is that there’s no NRSV edition of the Bible, which I truly hope to see added in the future. Thanks for this wonderful and free resource!

10 stars. I am so grateful to have the Bible Project as a resource and it has meant the world to upgrading my Bible study. I am, for the first time, finding myself understanding what the message of the Bible is in a new light that has allowed me to grow so much. This app has been so wonderful and I now start every morning working through studies or just reading the Bible using their videos as guides. Seriously great work guys, I hope you understand how much of a blessing you’ve been to me and many others! I wish I could give more than 5 stars

Such a great study tool! Love the app.. I am the kind of person that likes to learn about the way certain scriptures of the text align and parallel to further reveal what God is communicating through the Word and this app provides just that! I get to read in many translations/versions, which is even more beneficial, with the “links” feature that describes in further detail certain portions of text through comparison, parallelism, etc. Those connections and themes between the text that dawn on you when a preacher brings it to your understanding is all highlighted within the “links” which I really appreciate. It helps me develop a much deeper and rounded understanding of the text, beyond simply what the words say. The podcast is also a really great way to help me learn and develop an understanding of the Bible the way it was meant to be. Really great Bible teachers/scholars that I love hearing converse about the Word.

Beautiful Way Learn and Grow in The Word. This app is an incredible way to connect, hear, and grow in your understanding of The Word. Such great resources that link patterns, styles and structures throughout the Biblical narrative to learn and grow. It is this generation’s connection to storytelling with the best tools and technology available to us, just as all the generations before us have had their own way of passing down the knowledge of our Creator, our Savior, and our own connection to the ongoing story.

A Long Time Coming. I first encountered the BibleProject on the Bible app through their earliest videos. To remember those (and how impactful they were) and then see what this app is today is nothing short of beautiful. I am baffled to see the transition of the content from semi-unconnected videos (except they all belong to the Bible) to an app that helps you work through links and themes in the Bible by putting the videos, podcasts, and blogs in the text for you. I am thrilled to jump into this app. I can’t wait for all that will follow. Thank you Jon, Tim, and the entire BP team!

Amazing for people with ADHD. I’ve been a Christian my entire life, but even as I’ve grown into adulthood, it’s always been a motivational struggle to open up the Bible and read. Just being honest here—where are my ADHD-ers at?! This app changes everything. It doesn’t change or add anything to the scriptures. It brings them to life! The quizzes and links are a great way to make the Bible reading experience interactive and engaging. It really is like Duolingo for the Bible. One of my favorite parts about it is that it doesn’t feel competitive or achievement-focused. I cannot recommend this enough. I’m going to tell everyone I know about this app. PLEASE keep going with this project. God is using you guys to bring His people closer to Him. My REAL rating is 10 stars <3

A true gift. I have been using Bible Project resources for a few years now, and each video, class, or podcast episode has been enriching and helpful. This new app is no different. It is well thought out, easy to use, and filled with amazing tools. HIGHLY Recommend. This app is by far the most helpful resource I’ve used in understanding the Bible. I appreciate the educational lens they use through word studies, themes and getting to know the Book itself. Additionally I have ADHD and it’s difficult for me to focus on written devotionals and lessons and retain the information . I love the use of the videos and visuals and how they provide the Biblical references throughout - it keeps me engaged. I’ve been able to learn so much through this format. They have found a way to bring biblical knowledge and truth to everyone in a way that is engaging and fun. It makes stories leap off the page and brings every intricate and detailed theme of the Bible into focus as one unified story. The Bible is the best story ever told and with the Bible Project’s creative and insightful journeys it is now accessible for all. Yay!! But please add ESV and dark mode. With delight and excitement, I just downloaded and started using the app tonight so I don’t yet feel qualified to write an adequate review of what I am imagining is an amazing app. But I do want to say I was very disappointed to find that the ESV translation is not offered in the Bible section. If there’s any way you can obtain the rights to add it, please do. From what I understand, it is one of the two types of translation you identify yet achieves an excellent balance between the two while also retaining a very masterly literary flow to the text. I pray he will add it as I hope to camp in your app instead of even though YouVersion app but I so prefer and daily memorize ESV translation scriptures so I am very disappointed your app is lacking the ESV. Oh and dark mode too. Please. Keeping fingers crossed for both additions. Thank you!

Work that Glorifies God. I’m very thankful for how God has used this project for His glory. The amount of thought and effort that is put into this app and quality content helps the young in faith to the mature in faith. I use the app for watching videos of the different books that I read and helps provide insight and context. I also believe the work you guys have done has been Spirit led and pray it continues to bless believers all around the world. May the Word of God go forth and penetrate the hearts of all men.

Doesn’t feel rushed. For the first time in a long time I don’t feel like I have to “rush” though the Bible. This app is very intentionally designed to read and re-read scripture in a meditative way. From it keeping your progress down to the verse in the journeys, to the short segments of Bible classes, to the links to podcasts and blogs. It currently doesn’t have that “check list” feel that many of us are used to when trying to build the habit of Bible reading. And that is why I keep coming back to it. It’s paradoxical, but true.

Incredible resource.. Incredible app - gorgeous, intuitive, informative, perfectly organized. It is so well designed and I love that the quizzes are included as well to help crystallize and summarize your learning at the end of lessons. The importance of this labor is staggering. We are so blessed to have the BibleProject. I am thankful to have the church in this form - may God multiply the fruit of this effort. So so grateful! Edit: also pleased to note it’s not simply a compilation or rehashing of previously shared content (which I and many are familiar with by now), but full of wonderful new & original content! Outstanding way of learning - please add CarPlay support. This app has rapidly superseded any other app to learn (even non Bible-related). I like the words that appear at every point during a podcast or video, what a gigantic work you are doing!! Feature request: I drive a lot and listen to the podcast in Podcast App instead of the BibleProject app since Podcast allows me to control playback from CarPlay. It would be nice if the BibleProject had CarPlay support. I know it’s wouldn’t be the full experience, but it would help keep track of podcast episodes when driving and keep on when not driving, so instead of using podcasts (when driving) and BibleProject (when not driving), just use BibleProject.

Such a gift!. I can’t imagine all of the planning that has gone into making this app a reality. Thank you to everyone who created such a useful, attractive, well-designed way to study the Bible. I have been listening to the Bible Project podcast and watching the videos for many years. Now, I can locate them all in the app and I can’t wait to explore the other resources to further my pondering of the scriptures. What a wonderful gift this Christmas season!

A New and Wonderful Way to Dive into Scripture. Very much enjoying learning from this new app! There’s a mind mapping type of aspect to the content which makes this such a fresh approach to studying Scripture. It’s richer than a typical linear way of reading and studying the Bible. The creativity and artistry in reaching learners of all types is outstanding. This is truly a fresh breath for such an important life-long immersion into better knowing God as our Father, Son and Holy Spirit and for drawing nearer to Him. I can’t even describe how very well done this app is, plus how much I appreciate The Bible Project and all the team has put into it. Thank you and God bless you! Keep on wowing us as you do so well. I’ve been such a fan of the videos especially and this app takes those and multiplies the creativity and impact to an nth degree. So wonderful!

Dark Mode! YES! But….. The purpose of Christ coming, the same Christ that the whole Bible is a unified story that points to, came to save men. And I find nothing in the app or can recall from a BP video or even Tims many sermons I’ve watched about HOW to become saved or born again. Exactly how does a person go from the domain of darkness to light? You rarely if ever mentioned repentance and confession or crucifying the fleas and obeying Christ with a desperate passion. Do a video on how a person that desires to do so CAN and WILL enter the “upside down” kingdom of God and have the Holy Spirit enter them. There IS an instant in a persons life when that happens. Articulate THAT! Love ya guys!

The Beginning of an Adventure. Thank you so much Tim and Jon (+ devs) for making such a beautiful tool to experience the story of Jesus! I have already watched many of your videos and podcasts, but organizing your resources seems quite useful to me. It’s a great relief to not have to scroll between 300+ podcasts and then lose my place on apple podcasts! I look forward to the new journey and Bible features. So excited for this!. The Bible Project has been my favorite resource for Bible study, as well as one of my favorite podcasts for some time now. I love the thoughtful, creative, intelligent way the Bible Project resources help me to see a unified story while also helping me to deepen my understanding of scripture. I’m so excited for this app because it takes all that content and makes it more accessible. The layout and design are beautiful! Fantastic. This app is overwhelmingly great. I love the ability to turn off chapter and verse numbers. The pictures along the journey and collectible links have been a really refreshing experience. I’ve also been enjoying the amplified version (first time reading it). Seems some people are hating on the lack of KJV but I’m just kinda like… God didn’t hand-translate the KJV and ordain it as the only acceptable translation 😂 if you want to get as close to the original text as possible, learn Hebrew and Greek. This app has given me a fresh joy in reading the Bible. Thanks for putting this app together my dudes and dudettes. It’s beautiful and very well done. The sound effects when collecting a link are incredibly satisfying 👌 Excited for the journey to continue!

By far the Best app I have on my phone. I’d like to start by saying I’ve never gone out of my way to review an app before this!!! The app is pure gold! Very easy to use, and amazing content! Some May view the content somewhat elementary, but I think it’s at a level where anyone can comprehend and be able to convey it at a more advanced level. It even tests your knowledge, and includes scripture to go along with the lessons…. love what these guys are doing! Wish I would have had this growing up!

A GODSEND!. ❤️❤️❤️ Loved the Bible Project for years now, and the app is absolutely beautiful. The Biblical studies and video summaries & breakdowns of the books are very well organized into different sections. There a quizzes, studies meant to sharpen your Bible reading skills, the UX design is gorgeous. The entire app lives up to the beauty that God has allowed the Bible Project to be over the years. No quantifiable amount of rewards in this world could accurately describe the impact you guys are having for walking in your calling. The eternal rewards await you in Heaven. Thank you for doing the work of our Lord Jesus Christ.

A Must Have!. I discovered Tim and then the Bible Project around the start of the pandemic. The videos were so helpful to me as I was struggling with significant frustrations with the church. I love Jesus and I wanted to continue to learn and grow in my relationship with Him while unpacking strong emotions associated with the church. I am so grateful for this app as it allows me to better understand the Bible. I also love how the focus is on understanding the history, culture, and literature styles to better understand the Bible. I have also learned that many people quote verses in their attempt to argue or condemn others yet they are taking the verse out of context and they do not fully understand the history associated with the verse, chapter, or book. If you legitimately want to learn and grow in your understanding and relationship with Jesus - and not get yanked around by the rhetoric in the media (especially social media) - this app is a must have.

A MUST HAVE. I have been using Bible Project for years in all their formats and this app just made it even easier to access all of their straight forward teaching. To use a food analogy they took all of their great WELL PREPARED food offered separately and put it all together at a buffet. It is going to make it so much easier to share with fellow believers and unbelieving friends that are willing to listen so they can learn and read the Bible as it was meant to be read. It makes so much more sense and eliminates a lot of the “why would they have written that” and the “that makes no sense at all”. They honestly do make it the Bible easy to see the big picture and how it’s one big story that points to Jesus. I was supernaturally changed in my late 30s so I came to Jesus fresh unhindered by years of limited teaching so there were numerous parts of the Bible that never made sense and there were so many dots that I couldn’t connect to see the picture that had been given to us and these guys continue to clear those connections up and every time something doesn’t seem to fit I look to see how I can read it to better understand.

Love the content. I have been listening to The Bible Project podcast for a little while now. I started using the app for the classes and extras. The content is phenomenal and thought provoking. I love how the classes have links to the related verses that aren’t up on the screen making reviewing the cross references great. The thumbnails for all the grouped content are visually interesting and it makes it easy to find the series you are looking for. Overall it’s a good app. Now my only qualms, which might be user error, are I don’t like that the classes don’t record where I stop. If I have to stop in the middle of a video I have to reopen it I have to search for my stopping point. Some of the quizzes take me somewhere else to create an account to take the quiz. And I would like to see the Bible reading plans on the app as well. All of those are minor concerns in the grand scheme of things.

Great UX/UI design but.... Great UX/UI design but why do you only have Evangelical translations? Why don't you have the NRSV, the NRSVue (which just came out), or the CEB? The NRSV is the most ecumenical Bible in the English language and the one preferred by academics due to its rigorous academic approach to translation. Would love to also see translations in other languages. I mainly read the Bible in Spanish, or if I read it in English I prefer the NRSVue or other ecumenical/mainline translation. That's why I don't use your app as much. I would use it more if you offered this. Still a stellar app, though. Keep up the good work!

Wow!. I’ve begun reading through genesis with this app, and I have to say I’m already so blown away by what this app is going to bring to my study. Missing feature. To all the crew, thanks for putting together this wonderful app however I think there is one key feature that it is missing - a sleep timer. I love nothing more than to lie back and listen to one of your podcasts at the end of the day but without a sleep timer it unfortunately stops me from using this app. Could you please add this feature asap. It’s awesome but not sure where notifications are... I love this app! It helped me read the Bible with more attention to the overall themes. One thing that annoys me slightly is that I’ve got a red “1” at the top right corner telling me there must be a notification of some sort but nowhere in the app can I find it.. maybe a bug?

The app is fantastic, one request. I love the content and the app is great, the only feature I’d love is the ability to autoplay the next episode so I can just keep listening as I drive. It would also be great if I could jump back 30 seconds instead of 15 and if the playback controls integrated into the default iOS player a little better. An amazing App. Over the years, I have made an effort to read God’s word the Bible and sometimes I have failed in my effort, not just in my effort to read but most times in the effort to understand. Having said that I got to know about the app through my subscription via email which I get every Wednesday and I went ahead to try the app out and I was just intrigued by a lot of things being said in the podcast because sometimes I just got the whole Bible story wrong and I am getting a better understanding of some passages through the movement in app. Also I have a great sense of achievement going through the skill set. The most important is God’s change in my life through the understanding of his word. Thanks for this great app.

A True Recovery. The team at BibleProject has done phenomenal work instrumental to my deeper understanding of scripture, linking together parts of the Bible I would have never guessed were connected, and enriching my reading and relationship with God’s Word. My Experience with TBP. It was in 2016 when I first discovered The Bible Project (TBP) through a YouTube search. It was the best discovery ever to say the least. I have enjoyed not only the short videos on YouTube but have also consumed the podcast, blog posts, and additional study materials. Not to forget “Classroom” which is turning me into a Bible Nerd and I am loving it. I can't get enough of everything done at TBP. To be able to get all of those experiences within an app is amazing and I can't wait...I have already started using the app today (December 21, 2021) even though I downloaded the preordered on December 10th when it was announced. App won’t work as it is intended.. Won’t let me reset password so that I can use my account on the app. I won’t be able to keep track of podcasts listened too. If they have a problem with me they should speak up and instead of being petty. This kind of behaviour leads to a sinful life. So the fact that I can’t use my account that I created on this app and that it has locked me out shows that the Christian community isn’t welcoming. What GOD say?

5 stars, it’s amazing!. I just started using it recently and it has helped me understand the Bible and it’s teaching. If you are becoming a Christian I 100% recommend it! It has been a good experience over all, It helps you understand things and tells you things you wouldn’t know. It’s amazing! The people who made this have done very well on to making this.

Fantastic content with a catch. The content in this app is worth 6 stars, but there is something off with the touch controls. Pausing, extending to full screen, etc, it's like the virtual buttons are too small. I sometimes have to press them 5 or 6 times to get them to work. Makes it hard to use when discussing with my family. Have never had this problem with any other video app and hope it's something that can be easily solved.

Translation. I love this app so much because I understand more the Bible now, and I learn more, but I’ve recommend so many people about this app but sadly it doesn’t have translation like Spanish and it would be better. So many people have asked me but I want to know if you guys can translate it

Engaging and promising. Need more time with this for a proper review, but very excited to see this evolution from the BP team! High quality app so far and I love the concept of tracking movements and themes to highlight the cohesiveness of scripture. *Really* needs airpod\earbud control integration as my AirPod’s play\pause button only controls the Apple Music App which then starts playing music over the BibleProject audio. I don’t know if I’ve ever downloaded a more functional and informative app. The creators of this entire project very clearly understood the assignment! So many different ways to get a better understanding of God and the Bible and it really helps facilitate a way to genuinely study the bible, which I’ve been searching for, for years!!! Only thing I’d maybe add or clarify is where to the start. I downloaded the app when there were less bells and whistles. Incredibly grateful for the various new resources, but maybe let me know or suggest what/where might be the best place to start? But anyways, Thank you guys! You’re all doing amazing!

How future generations will experience God’s Word. They’ve gamified engaging with scripture, developing reading skills, making connections between ideas and texts. The multimedia aspect is fantastic, you have videos, podcasts, scripture, and more as additional resources. It’s the most expansive Bible commentary ever created, and it’s FREE! Just like the gift of salvation from Jesus.

Blown Away. I am blown away by this app … maybe it’s by God’s ruakh … When I downloaded it, I anticipated the video lessons on Scripture that I was familiar with from The Bible Project. But the app takes this teaching so much farther, including podcasts delving far deeper into the Hebrew words, the patterns in Scripture, the movements of God’s symphony for us. It is an amazing app, and I am so grateful.

The Bible Equivalent to the IPhone. This app is a complete game changer to Biblical literacy and reading. As a Teacher of Scripture, I have struggled to find ways to communicate and teach what is now contained in this one app! Bible Project-you have done it again! Making the Bible accessible and understandable to those of us who are non-scholars. Thank you and May the Lord bless you and keep you!

Limited Versions. I would have liked to see more variations of the Bible such as the King James Version. It’s nice to be able to use the Bible you are most used to using. I love the podcasts, and the way they explain different chapters and sections. The ability to change the size of the words is a big help, and the little reading reminders are great!

Genesis Scroll was awesome, but…. …the app won’t display the Exodus scroll in the ‘Journey’ tab. Mostly everything up to this point has been wonderful! I’d appreciate a few more Bible translations when reading the actual texts, and I recently got a push notification regarding something the app apparently not displaying due to either user error (me) or a bug (app developers). Love the app fellas, but I’d like to move on to the Exodus Scroll in the ‘Journey’ tab, please and thank you!

Awesome!. I really love this app. Everything from the short clips to the study guide is absolutely stunning! The people behind Bible Project really put in the effort to make this a piece of art that teaches you in-depth about the Bible. I don't think there is a better study app out there. I previously had a “work around” where I had a home-screen link on my iPhone but it only linked to their website and sometimes my spotty service would crash it when watching videos. Can we get a KJV?. I just downloaded it and played around with it. It seems really interesting. I like the videos and explanations. Seems like a well put together Bible app. I kind of wish it included the King James Version since that’s what I grew up reading. Reading the other versions feel a little weird to me lol

Speechless…. I can’t recommend this app enough. I’ve utilized the Bible Project videos for two years now, but always struggled finding helpful resources for specific texts. This app is a game changer. I had been struggling for months now in John 1, and just 20 minutes reading in this app answered my questions I’d been struggling with. This app is great for everyone!

Very polished app. Found the Bible Project via the youversion bible app that had one of their reading plans. Beyond the incredible amount of work related to presenting the Bible and all it offers, this app is super polished for such a new app. Shows there was good work done prior to release because usually new apps are buggy and hard to bear. Highly recommend it, and the Bible Project as whole is truly awesome.

What they created in the past is any hint.. This is an unsolicited review...these people their work is amazing. Their past work has deeped my faith and understanding of the Bible but most importantly God’s caring word. I have a critical and sometimes cynical view of religion and how the Bible is used. For me their work strives to reflect the true blessing of the word without dogma. I look forward to what's next.

Great app but downloads aren't working. I love this app. It has tons of great content and podcasts and videos about the Bible and it has really been eye-opening for me how everything in the Bible is connected in tons of different ways. My only issue is that downloading doesn't work for me. I have the download option on videos it just doesn't do anything when I press on it.

A tool every believer should have. I honestly can’t begin to express how helpful this app has been in my independent study of God. So easy to find content and references and laid out so well. I believe an app and organization like this is one of the most important resources our world has. Worth the download, worth the 5 stars, worth supporting and endorsing.

Great App. My husband told me about this app a while ago, but I only recently began using it. It’s a bit confusing at first, but if you just take a little time to explore the app the “Skills” and “Journey” soon make sense. I love that it gives you a flexible plan to follow without making you feel like you get behind if skip a day. The different media (Bible reading, videos, blog posts, and podcasts) give a nice variety. I enjoy podcasts and it’s nice that my podcast listening can now tie into my Bible reading. I’ve only been using it for a week or so, and already I’m excited about reading the Bible again. I love the way it shows how the whole Bible is tied together. Thanks for the wonderful app!

I’ve been waiting. I have been following the Bible project for so many years, listening to the podcast, teaching my kiddos and other teens through scripture with Bible project content for so many years. Exceptional app. I love the app and your videos. The resources provided really help to understand the ancient literature presented. I have just one request, please add KJV. I’ve seen how certain verses are omitted in some other translations, and it may just be a dumb personal bias, but I really enjoy the KJV and hope you will add it soon. Works fine now.. I have downloaded the series multiple times I also downloaded each individual episode multiple times and I’ve tested in airplane mode that it works as long as you do not exit the app once you exit the app you have to re-download the episode again. Works fine now.

So Valuable!. The Bible Project has been an influential part of my walk with Jesus for many years. I’ve enjoyed the videos and this past year began to dive into the podcast. This app takes some of the mystery of Biblical interpretation and makes it accessible to the rest of us. I can’t wait to go through the full journey this year!

The developers did a marvelous job of beautifully intersecting all of the elements that The Bible Project has available. The app drew me in from the first moment I began to explore it. I strongly suggest for anyone interested in a deeper study. I would hope overtime they will add more Bible translations to the “Bible” section. Getting spiritually fed. I made a commitment to read the Bible in a year , so when I got to Leviticus and Numbers I didn’t see any purpose in reading it , it was quite boring and monotonous . A friend of mine recommended the Bible project app and it was definitely a Godsend . What a great description on what Leviticus is all about . There was definitely a purpose for reading Leviticus , it brings us closer to God .

Encourages engagement with scripture. Really loving this app! It provides not only a seamless way to access and go through the Bible Project content, but also read scripture right in the app as well. The Bible feature is actually my favorite so far and the one I have used the most, I love how simple it is, and is designed for continuous reading in a really intuitive way. (Seriously very impressed by the UI/UX designers). This makes sense, and fits with the project’s goals. The point of the content isn’t the content itself, but actually helping you engage with scripture. So of course it makes sense that the app would be a really beautiful continuation of that! Thank you BibleProject!

Dark mode + podcasts are great. I remember being really excited for this app on launch day, but had a hard time with the initial use because it didn't have dark mode. But now it does! And my eyes are very happy. It will only get better with time as more content is released. And for those who might want to wait, you don't have to: there's already a wealth of studies and such, and i'm excited with the 3 podcast episodes for Exodus that's currently out now. Suggestions: I might be dumb, but I don't remember where dark mode was actually set. Does it follow system preferences? Having that in the settings for people to toggle between light and dark would be nice. And to add to the list of requested translations, maybe the Tree of Life Version ?

GREAT TEACHING!. I love how they do the Bible stories and get in depth with so many different s parts of the Bible. They take such complex topics and make Ethan so much easier to understand. They truly put a new perspective on things and go in deeper in topics you thought you already knew about. plus, it’s all animated! It helps me keep focus and entertained. This app is amazing for studying all things Bible snd God!

Most accessible seminary level content. The wonderful people behind the BibleProject have created a “journey,” as they call it, leading us through the entire Bible. Starting at the beginning the highly structured, yet open to explore path is a seminary level education broken down into extreme accessible content. I have ADHD and struggle to stick with the same thing for more than a couple of weeks. This app not only never gets boring it is super easy to come back to even after being off it for a week or so at a time. i couldn’t be more grateful for what BibleProject is offering. The Bible is so much more than I thought it was and I feel like I am really connecting with this ancient text. Thank you.

Spanish version videos should be included as an option. This application is excellent. I use this for years In both languages English and Spanish. Please include Spanish version as an option for all Spanish speakers in USA and around the world an Latin America. Amazing. As much as we ALL want to help our children, grandchildren, students, etc…. grow in the lord and gain understanding of his word, let’s be honest, most of us are not as theologically educated enough to do so. These guys have given us an incredible tool. I’ve actually seen pastors use these short film clips to build powerful sermons. Kids and adults alike WILL gain so much from the Bible Project. No chapter or verses. I really like the idea behind this app. Definitely makes reading the Bible a lot less intimidating to read. What I’m not a fan of is that when you read the actual bible there’s no labeling of what verse or chapter you’re in. You can’t even save verses or highlight them. Also it’s not in niv or kjv. Again I really love the concept of it but what I stated above earlier is really important for me to able to do. I’ll definitely be trying to give it another shot but

I Love it, but... The only thing that I would change is the screen staying on (as if I were watching a video), when listening to the podcasts. Because of the word study information, etc. If I’m not constantly touching the screen it goes black. But, I suppose I could just set my iPhone that way. Other than that, this is an amazing app.

I hope many people will download it because their broad strokes overview of topics will help people dive deeper with a contextual understanding that is not easily gained by yourself or at church on Sunday.

Audiovisual Learners Rejoice!. The Bible Project has hit all the marks with their work and this app. Auditory learners, visual learners, audiovisual learners will all find studying the Bible in a deep, thoughtful way accessible with the teaching methods delivered through the content in this app. I have been learning from the Bible Project videos for a couple years and supporting their work as I use their resources to deepen my faith and teach my family and I am so grateful for this new resource.

Best App I have ever used.. This is, by far, the best app I have ever used. Download it. Go through the Themes. They are, downright incredible. I have never found a better interface and operating software (if that is even the correct terminology). What I mean is….this thing is insanely well designed!! Like, SERIOUSLY! It’s so fascinating how this app, in every nuanced detail or section is designed to help you experience the Bible how it was written. What an amazing thing to do. This was the perfect addition to the already incredible pool of resources. Oh my gosh it’s amazing, they create little links as to how the themes interplay with each other. Finally an App!. I’ve been following the Bible Project for years, and I’m so happy they took their time to release the app, what a smart, well thought out, new interactive way to study the Bible, incorporating all the things I love like the podcast and new things like skills to. I’m looking forward to incorporating this into this app into my daily routine!

Fall in Love with The Bible!!!!. Wow. These guys are so awesome. What a gift they are! I started really reading the Bible in 2019 and I started loving it but wishing I could understand more. This year, I signed up for an Old Testament reading plan from these guys in the YouVersion Bible app. They have these AMAZING videos before each daily read and I’ve been so blown away that I had to get this app as soon as I found out about it. Their videos make me cry. They do such an excellent job of capturing themes of the books of the Bible as well as capturing the story and GOD’S GOODNESS. Just download and see for yourself. You will fall more and more in love with the Word of God!!!!

Simply Amazing. Jon and Tim are absolutely amazing and brilliant. I can’t say enough good things about this app, it has changed the way I think about God and the Bible. I could listen to all the episodes over and over for the rest of my life and still learn some thing every single time. The organization is useful not only for navigating and tracking your progress but also for helping you encounter new content—movements and themes in the Bible—that you didn’t know you were missing! Such an amazing app!. Great job! I have been so excited for this! The podcast, Bible, explainer videos, and blog posts all in one app! Makes mobile Bible reading so much easier! Can’t wait for the next steps, only one thing; I can’t wait for the ESV to come to this platform, I have found it to be a very good word-for-word translation with easy readability. Probably the best there is. Seriously. Whether you’re a theological scholar or have just discovered the Bible, you will learn SO MUCH from this app. It’s beautifully designed, and there are so many different resources to keep it interesting and keep your knowledge growing. The BibleProject organization has given new life to the Word of God.
