Sky Tonight - Stargazing Guide App Reviews

I’m doing this so you know the truth. I mean, it was a good app to know information and stuff, but the problem is when I point the direction of the camera. It shows the completely wrong thing so like if I’m pointing at the moon, it’s somewhere else that is not the moon or near the moon but otherwise, if you can fix that, it’s pretty good

Highly recommended. Also needs a sort option.. This app is great and includes recent articles on astronomy and related topics. I read it every day! The only flaw I could find is that the articles aren’t sorted by date, which is a pain if you read it every day and just want to see the most recent items. And, there’s no manual “sort by date” option. It seems like it would be a fairly simple fix. Is that something the developers might consider doing?

Good but...... It's all good don't need to. Pay to buy but u. Need a subscription to read and. Look at some of the. Facts and I really want more free options like on. 🌑 lunar /solar eclipse and when we're. What. Will happen in future I highly would. Like this app to add more details plus it said Wikipedia (I mean Wikipedia ain't that bad but people can change it so I don't. Exactly trust this app)

The best. I’ve used a ton of different star gazing apps, but they are all expensive and don’t have nearly as much features as this app. The UI is amazing, as are the features. The ability to say that you only want to see objects that are visible to the naked eye is amazing. Also being able to get into on showers occurring in the future is exactly what I wanted. I love this app.

Freakin awesome. Very user friendly, awesome information, nice graphics. I love the nebulas and galaxies. The constellations have their “Visions” drawn out on top of the star networks to help you to also “see” them. I’ve always been drawn to the cosmos and it is super fun to be out on a hike with friends and be able to confidential identify the bright stellar occupants of the night sky.

My daily go-to app to plan my stargazing, with one annoyance. I use the Visible Tonight feature daily to know when there is good seeing coming to my area. Great feature! That said, I find the sorting / filtering on the list of celestial objects visible to be annoying. I want to see what will be visible when I’m planning to view. I can’t find any way to sort by the time when objects become visible, meaning PM and AM hours are mixed. I would think “Date” would do what I want, but today’s PM and tomorrow’s AM are mixed in a way which makes no sense to me. Can you please provide an option to either sort by time visible, or to filter based on planned viewing time?

Ads ruin experience. Not sure what happened to the review I wrote it vanished. The ads are entirely disruptive to using this app, any time you push a button they are forced on you. I will never buy these dumb games no matter how many times you force me to watch these ads. This might be a good app I couldn’t tell bc I can’t get through the darn ads. What ever happened to having a quality app that people are glad to pay for instead of paying to shut off annoying ads. That is no way to do business. Too many scammers are doing this and selling apps that are not even working properly then they don’t refund customers and charge them over and over. Please don’t be that person. Have some integrity or don’t sell your app.

Amazing!!! Really impressed. This App is sooooooo amazing it tells me all the great spots to go stargazing and I can look at a bunch of planets when I click on it it shows me the information about it. I would recommend this app if you like space and want to learn more about galaxies, planets, and even stars etc.!!!!!! This is great for kids and grownups

Awesome App. Stellar app! 😉✨🌌 It’s so cool how it allows you to see the constellations in your own night sky. My brother and I were wondering what a bright orange “star” was in the sky, and we found out that it was Mars from the app. But indeed it has much more than star and planet identification. The app gives so much information (and random fun trivia) about everything you see in the night sky. Just click on Mars and the app tells you innumerable tidbits about its whereabouts, orbit, planetary information, etc. Then, you can scroll in, and suddenly Mars’ moon will come into sight, and you can find tons of information on that too. Truly a brilliant app. P.S. I forgot about the constellation info that’s super interesting, and also the app gives you a night sky calendar, which includes everything from the lunar schedule to when you have the best odds of seeing meteors ☄️from your own backyard.

Life. This is an amazing app man!! I look at the app everyday and it gives me the ability to see things I can only dream of! I’m on pscylociben mushrooms for my mental health and I was on my way to Jupiter and was watching the sky seen the actual stargazing shower, a mushroom that was dedicated to that actual shower! Was beautiful to watch I love this app

Best in class. I am an amateur stargazer and I have to say this is one of the best stargazing apps that I have tried. A while back I had an app that seem to be good, but the developer never took it anywhere and it is no longer useful. This app is so easy to use I have my family using it. Thank you for making the night sky come to life.

First. It’s my first time using this app, and it seems very great and informative. I’m just facing couple of issues which I’m not sure if they are common or I am making a mistake: 1- The app acts well with my location and camera projection. However, time and date are not set automatically, I must go to the upper panel and update them. 2- There are some visible satellites, that the app wouldn’t define.

Pretty sweet.. Very nice touch to an evolving app but curious why I need to keep buying a new app instead of updating these features within star walk 1 and 2. A few suggestions- I wish the stargazing index would reference and show how it is being calculated, do you use CSC data? I would also love to see nebula or other DSO listed on the visible tonight list (as the settings ask for magnitude range I would love to see darker objects added). Add a setting to increase panning speed while searching, it’s too laggy. Don’t let these suggestions take away from the utility of this app. It’s been great, love the trajectory of selected objects with hourly tick marks! Makes it easy when I should go outside. Thanks!

Show and tell. Wherever you point your camera, the app shows the sky in that direction on screen. The stars, constellations sun and Moon are all highlighted, but that options to customize the way they appear. There is also an option to select a date and look at the state of the known universe from that date. It would be nice if there was an option to show. Only the stars that are visible with the naked eye or at least include that in the already very detailed description.

A really good star gazers app - but a few things to consider. This app does exactly what it says on the box. You get a pretty good view of the night sky from your part of the globe. That all said - there are a few things I would like to see: 1) ISS updates. Sometimes the app will show you where it is expected to rise, but then sometimes doesn’t update and then you end up easily missing it if you’re not careful 2) reminders sometimes fail, and even if you enable the notification, you may not get it until minutes later. I’ve had this happen twice. Lastly, the main screen needs to have an automatic return to location with the last viewed object still being pointed out. If I view the ISS for example, it will redirect me to its last known rise and not most recently updated location relative to your GPS. And this ends up causing a user to actually miss the location while they try to scramble to find the object they were searching for in real time.

Not accurate. Ok, I had to make this same review for another app called Night Sky and I don’t know if this is just how the app is, or what. But it’s not accurate. I like how it gives you info about space events this year in my location, but when I let’s say point my camera at the moon, it shows the moon isn’t there and that it’s in a different spot. (No hate tho, the app is fine!) just pls improve! 😋

Great app. Love that there is an option to see it through your camera so you can pinpoint bright stars and planets without a telescope. I use this app every night and haven’t paid anything. Upgrading has amazing options but I just rather use only the feee options on apps since information that’s free is a great learning and starting point.

Sky tonight!. I always asked my dad ‘’ What constellation is that? But we never knew so one day I was searching for a app that would tell me and I found this I opened it up and looked at the starry night sky during a new moon and I saw planet Jupiter! This app also tells you what constellations are out I search when the cancer sigh is and u see it! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND SKY TONIGHT thank you for your time 😊😊

The Most Amazing App Ever Developed. I have always been an Astronomy freak, never had the opportunity to develop my knowledge of Astronomy, until now!! Every night, I can discover new stars, planets and the app lets me know if there is something out there for me to discover… Thank you so much to the developers of this App, I cant get enough of this app!!!

I’ve learned so much already!. I’ve always been fascinated by the stars and I pull a lot of my power from them, but to learn about the night sky in such depth and in such a beautiful way is so appreciated! I love knowing exactly where I’m at in reference to the constellations and the music makes for a calming experience. I just moved to a new apartment and was sad about losing my old view, but my new view is the perfect stargazing opportunity (as far as living in a city goes) and my night isn’t complete without sitting by my window and learning through this app! AWSOME so far. Actually just got the new app 😁 I didn’t things could get better than the star walk 2 App. But I’m sure it will be evan better! Love all the apps !! So enjoy full !! Mixed review. When I first downloaded the app I immediately got the free trial to see if it was worth it, loved it & worked perfect at first, then I paid 8.99 for a limited offer the app has instead of 1.00 usd a month. Stopped working as soon as I paid. Won’t let me track any stars in my location,only lets me check out info about each star and I have to manually look it up with the name of the star. I really hope they fix it,I loved this app!

Seems like a good App…however. I like the work you’ve done with app. After reading all the app information, the one that convinced me was the listed a “Lifetime Access Sale for $4.99”. After I downloaded the app the first thing I did was to find the “sale” and subscribe. I was disappointed that it could not be found. The only thing I found was a “Lifetime access for $8.99”. If there is a “$4.99 Lifetime Access Sale”, would you please advise me on how I may accomplish that purchase? Thank You

Awesome App. Feature rich, easy and fun to use, this app has it all. It makes it easy to plan my telescope time. It gives me all of the information I need, so much so that I find myself using it even when I don’t plan to do any stargazing. I am so glad that I found this absolutely terrific app. The developer did an amazing job here. Highly recommended.

Love it!. This app is so good! I love looking at the sky to see different constellations and this one and sky guide are perfect! I may say I like this one better though because it allows me to see every constellation and identify the stars in it, it even got the constellation hydra to be there which is the biggest so I wasn’t for sure if it would be there but it was! Overall I’m very pleased with this app, and I would so recommend it to anyone who also loves to stargaze!

Meteor shower. This app and site are fantastic, I did not realize that I could send a text from this site to my Lady so she also can look for the meteors tonight. Believe me when I say that this is very user friendly if there were going to be problems setting this up I would have had them because I am not to savvy about this stuff but to my surprise I got through it the first time and it was very easy...Dan

I love this app. Ok honestly this app is so cool. I’m a 15year old high school student and I’ve always loved the stars. I would look up at the stars but never know what I was looking at. Then my friends would tell me “dude did you see the shower last night” and I would be like no… so now I get alerts to tell me when they are, what planet are visible and where in the sky.

Cannot find things in Compass is way off. I’m just glad that I didn’t pay you the $13 for this app when I’m looking directly at Orion and it didn’t identify it or the big dipper I’m glad that I tried to before I went camping wasted two hours I’m gonna find my app for what my buddy has and his was free forever. I should bill you guys for the two hours. I lost. Went to your Tips. We’re not helpful at all. Try to fix the Compass the way it said would not work 20° off. I’m real glad that I did not pay for this. And when you put your ratings of how many stars you should get zero should be one of the options. Your tech team was no help whatsoever. And I’m glad I didn’t have to use this in a real world emergency … my advice is if these guys were mine, they will be kicked off the job. ASAP I’m just glad I had enough friends to try this thing out first. And I can’t really believe that your compass is off by 20° and then could not find Orion. My God you can get somebody hurt with we doing dumb stuff like this. You get a big zero for your stars.

If you want to find out what you see in the sky this is your app. If you want to see some thing in the sky you heard about online, this is your app. If you want reliable notifications for things you might want to see in the sky, this is your app. If you want your kids to love astronomy, this is your app. It is an amazing way to learn about God’s beautiful creation!

Sky Tonight. Sky Tonight is one of the best and most immersive Astronomy apps out there. I would certainly give the app 5 stars. It is fun to use, educational, and very accurate. Any time I want to locate a constellation in the heavens I turn to Sky Tonight. This app is the pinnacle of what I have found in night sky apps! Thank you for developing it! 5 stars certainly!

Just amazing. I am just a 70-year-old man living in the Philippines that likes to look up at the nice sky in all of its splendor. This app absolutely blows me away at all the details and graphics and information that these astronomers have put together and share it for free with us, that know nothing about the stars in the heavens in the cosmos it is beautiful and thanks to whoever made this app

WOW!!. Man this app, so far is GREAT! And the subscription price is insanely cheap to boot! Been looking for one I liked for while now that I didn’t need a degree just to understand how to use it, etc, & at a price id be cost okay with. Also, I was actually wow’d by how I ended coming across this app, which was after got I read what info the app I was using had I saw something where could find out more about it. Link went right to it and a few sentences in, I literally stopped to see what app it was on, didn’t recognize it, so checked that it wasn’t already in by ‘queue’ of apps I download, rather than reading about, cuz besides how exhausting that gets, as I’m sure many of you can relate to by now IF you’re still reading my review, haha, anyway this app rocks. Plus couldn’t believe how cheap it is and just keep liking it more ‘n more. Anyway, I think this app is great! Thank you!

Detailed and Thorough. this app is really amazing. the level of detail in each heavenly body is incredible! they have orbit trajectories, peaks in the horizon as a function of time, data about the stars and planets, size, distance, visual magnitude. It’s frankly overwhelming how detailed and well made this app is. On top of that, the augmented reality is extremely accurate and responsive and the constellations are artistic renditions that are fun and interesting while still allowing you to see the star formation and lines behind the art piece. just an incredible app overall and i recommend everyone download and just have fun with it for a few hours.

Warning: You will get hooked!. I had a different stargazing app for a while because it’s something my son and I like to do but it wasn’t holding up. I download this app and my son, who normally hates mornings, will get up at 5:30 AM to sit on the balcony to see what we can find. We are obsessed with all of the features!

Amazing !. I love it, it’s so detailed about every star and constellation. I also really like how you can move your phone around and it shows you what the stars look like from that point of view. If you point your phone to the ground then it shows you the stars and constellations on the other side of the earth. Another interesting feature is you can click on a specific star and learn different properties about it. Such as the absolute magnitude or how far away it is. Not only can you learn about it but you can see events on when you would see it in the sky. I think that the way you can see shooting stars and zoom in a ton but still be really good graphics is amazing. I learned about this app several years ago from my great uncle when we were star gazing who died sort of recently and I decided to download it.

Most Beautiful Skies. I love this sky app, it is completely free and gives detailed (recorded) history of the stars, planets, zodiac, and galaxies. I’m still new on my journey, but I’m grateful to have an application that allows me to view the beauty of the universe. I highly recommend this application. Aids for Rookies. Is it possible to have links for easy to understand instruction on degrees, hours/minutes, distance, units, how to orient my position to the planets, constellations, etc., just about everything associated with finding out when to see a particular planet, how time influences location. I am a Rookie but I have always been fascinated with Astronomy. You ask me to write a review so let me summarize this way, I open up Sky Tonight, Star Gazer. I do not know the first thing about how to use the app to know what I am looking at and how to find a particular planet constellation etc. Other than yhat, I commend the App people for developing an amazing tool that can be used on my cell phone. Amazing app. So the whole reason I downloaded this app is because I seen a bright star and I didn’t know what it was and with this app I found out it was Jupiter ! I love the night sky so, when I seen this app it looked really cool so I tried it out and i am AMAZED so when you first open the app they have a really good deal where you can (totally optional) pay $ 13 for a LIFETIME. Which I was like wow so I got on the app and it had so many features like they will send you notifications (if you allow them to) on when space event will happen and it has this setting where wherever you move your device it will show what is there and it also will show you where satellites are! This app also has a calendar where it will show you space events and where and when you can see them at! not only that it helps you keep track of the moon phases which love and they have way more features you can have fun with!!! I love this app and I highly recommend this app

I love stars when I was five I ate a whole star because I was so hungry and then my mom said don’t do that Ethan and I was like momnimnrunning away okay and then I took all my stuff and I followed the stars I was like five then so I like couldn’t actually go anywhere until I hopped on a train at this point in my life star apps weren’t a thing so anyways I met a bear who took off my leg but as I was bleeding out I saw the Big Dipper and that made it okay so I’m recommending this app because it saved my life

The best stargazing app ever!🤩. I currently have 2 stargazing apps, and this one is the most accurate. I love the features it provides, and to be honest buying perks really isn’t necessary in my opinion. I’ve had the opportunity to see most of the planets thanks to this apps :) Also relevant notification, like Aprils constellations etc.. I’ve seen stars like Arcturus ☄️. This apps amazes me!

First timer. I’m 70 years old. This is my first time seeing anything like this. I truly am intrigued and in awe. I can’t afford much in life and I’m thrilled to be able to use this app for free. Tonight I’m looking at the moon on a clear night sky and just found out that the star next to it isn’t a star that it’s a planet. ….Jupiter thanks!

Very rare is the app that makes you feel like a kid again!. When you’re as old and jaded as me, most apps are strictly utilitarian. They serve a purpose, maybe make something easier, but that’s about it. THIS thing takes me back to my childhood- freezing outside while searching endlessly with my “Sears Best” telescope. I understand the technology behind the app AND the hardware, but I’ll be damned if it doesn’t still impress me every time I start this app, point it at the sky, and satisfy some random curiosity. It isn’t magic, but it still kinda ‘feels’ like it is!

THIS APP IS THE BEST!!!. I have several apps to explain what I am looking at but this app goes way beyond the others! It tells you what you are looking at automatically facing the direction that you are at the correct time & date. If it is light out it asks to access your camera & you can photograph what you see with labels of items!! Information is available for each item in the sky! It sends you alerts for what you won’t want to miss. There’s no app (even their others) that are so informative. I can’t say enough positive about it, and highly recommend!!!

A great app for finding things you’ve never heard of before. THIS APP IS SO COOL!!!!!!!! (No, I’m not being paid to say this) I really love this app because of how much stuff I found in the sky that I’d never heard about! I heard about this app from my uncle who was looking at the night sky with it and thought that it would be interesting to try out. Now, I’m not the kinda person who leaves a review for every single app I download, so this is rare. But do check this app out!

Oh my. It is very hard to figure out. And when you pointed to the sky, you’re not sure whether you’re seeing what you’re supposed to see or not. Because when you pointed to the floor, you still see some type of store arrangements. I’m so sure this thing is even working.

I love but also don’t like this app a bit.. See I love this app a lot! But sometimes it is wrong with where some stuff is in the sky like where the moon or sun is, etc. I pointed my iPad to the moon and it said the moon was on the whole other side for some reason. And it also makes it so it lags me out of my iPad and makes it so I can’t turn on my iPad for a few seconds. But great app overall! Love it!

Awesome tool. I am in the oil fields of ND. When I am on a pad (without a flair) this app makes it easy to identify what’s in the night sky and to see what’s coming into view in the next few hours. Highly recommend it to anyone who is not an astrophysicist and needs some assistance in identifying what’s out there or what shouldn’t be there….you see some weird stuff up here :)

Easiest to use. My kids and I adore this app. In the last five years, I have downloaded four or five apps that I hoped would let me point my phone in the sky and the app would tell me what I’m seeing. In my experience, “Sky Tonight” is the easiest. After 30 seconds, or so, it works perfectly. The image on the screen tracks how I move the phone. I haven’t had as much luck with others.

This app blew my mind… because it’s SO BAD. So this all started in New Mexico when my parents and I saw tons of stars, the Northern Star, Orion, and the Big Dipper. It was so pretty that my mom suggested that I get an app to identify stars. So the day after, we drove home and I was looking for apps 2 days later. And I found THIS. Looked decent, 4.8 out of 5 stars, mostly rated 5 and 3. So I got it, and these are my 5 biggest complaints about this. 1. A freaking ad pops up every 10 seconds 🙄 2. I can do barely ANYTHING without a freaking subscription 😭 3. Doesn’t even recognize the town I live in as an actual town, so it’s probably tracking stars from like towns away 😠 4. It’s so freaking confusing to use 😤 5. Won’t let me zoom out/ in than just a little bit😡 To the publishers: You really could of done better, not loading up 50 ads an hour for games no person wants. Give these poor people more access to the app without a subscription that you need to do almost ANYTHING. Let people zoom in/out more to a smaller/wider view. And last, give like, a tutorial to stuff so it isn’t confusing 🫤. And if you respond to this, publishing guys, you BETTER improve the app, and not just send me a response that says to visit your website.

Can’t calibrate. Doesn’t work. Can’t even calibrate on my iPhone. Looks really nice, had the old version before, but can’t test this one because of calibration failure. Deleted.

How the hell do I rotate the screen in landscape mode.. All other geo spatial aware apps rotate screen to landscape automatically. This app only shows in portrait mode. Shame on developers scamming for a premium version of star walk 2 and giving a cheap quality app ?

Not Frustrating. Too clever by far. All I want is to point at the night sky and learn about what I’m seeing. Not all the add ons.

Not updating. Pointed the app at the almost full moon and it didn’t show … it was still suggesting the sun was still up and hour after sun set …

Too many ads!!!. I know you need to make money. I get that, but maybe sponsors would work better? I’m also not that into this to pay a monthly or yearly fee.. You’ve lost me…

Who needs a TV. Love this app makes the sky at night so easy to explore. Can’t wait to get away from the city lights to see more of what is up there.

Half the world gets ignored or a brief mention. I check the stories too see a lunar eclipse or some other advertised event only to find it’s a northern hemisphere only thing ! All the stories & descriptions are northern hemisphere biased. Where are the special celestial events for the South? How about some Southern Hemisphere writers for the other half the worlds observations

Stay alert. Scam ads pop in between usage. Very annoying and disturbing. Lost my trust.

Very Good but a few things to add. so basically, I really like this app , but could u add more space events on the calendar like , planet at maximum brightness , micromoon, wolf moon , pink moon , snow moon , blue moon , yellow moon , Planetary alignment, Galaxy Visibility, Nebula Visibility, Supernova , please add these things onto the space calendar!

This app is simply the BEST option on the App Store for casual use. The competition is either bugged to oblivion, demands a costly subscription, or is missing features that I deem critical. Heck some of them even have the audacity to charge $60 upfront and then demand a subscription on top of that! No other app has as clean of a UI, clearly inspired by Apple’s own design language, with as well written of an events forecast and calendar. This app will even tell you where the next total solar eclipse is years before it happens! The AR is also leaps and bounds ahead of the rest, and it has a proper red light night mode unlike a certain other well known open source stargazing app. The best, please don’t take away or double paywall any premium features I have already paid for!

Almost got hacked. The second I opened the app I got one of those fake pop ups that tell you that your iPhone has a bad virus and that it needs to scan your phone. Luckily for me I closed it and didn’t press scan or else I would’ve been hacked.

Notifications for what???. I can't say that I don't like the app because I do like parts of it. But what are the notifications for? I get them almost every day but I have no idea what they are for. There is no explanation whatsoever. This app could definitely be improved.

No Landscape mode. Not having a landscape mode makes this useless for me.

Auto renewing sub? No thank you.. I have star walk 2 and its a great app. I paid for lifetime sub because it was worth it to me. I would consider it for this app, if reasonably priced. But a monthly or yearly renewal fee? No thank you. I’ll keep using starwalk 2, even if some of the features aren’t the same. Consequently, I deleted the app from my iphone. Too bad really, looked like it might have been useful.

Loaded with commercials .. uninstalled. Whilst I understand commercials within an app if it’s free .. this is so ridiculously loaded with commercials it’s too much

Deleted within 5 minutes of Trying it.. I have Starwalk2. I thought this would be a great augmentation to Starwalk2 that I did pay for. This is not a free app and I don’t expect apps to be free, BUT I do expect to be able to have a decent evaluation period before I decide to pay for apps. This app looked great, but within the couple of minutes of launching, I had to sit through three adds - two of which were the exact same. No thanks…. I don’t have patience for that. Deleted immediately.

A great companion to star walk!. I’ve been a longtime user of Star Walk and I just love the focus on the calendar of object of sky tonight! I just have one question: what do the red dots represent in the calendar? Sometimes there’s one, two, three or none?

I recommend it but I have some wishes. This app is good and all and close to one of the sky tonight. I do wish I could do maybe more things like a trivia. Like you could guess the constellations and planet's. But even tho I don’t have a lot to say but this is really all ok guys have fun

Meteor showers. I’m a novice, but this app reminds me when and let’s me know where things are happening. We are just a planet in a very large solar system it’s incredible when you start learning about it!

The app is off. I was looking for the super moon tonight. The app was saying it’s to my left and I went to stand on my back porch and it’s directly in front of me. Big as heck. I hope you all can fix this. Yes my location is on and usually it be on point.

Calibration is not consistent. Great star map and it shows comet Lenard. I wish there were some more detailed directions on how to use- took a while to get the compass calibration correct. Still, great app

Amazing App. I normally don't write reviews but oh my gosh, this app is amazing. I'm using the free version so there are ads, but they barely show. The graphics are amazing and the database of stars and constellations is impressive. Good user interface, ideal for beginners/novices.

Very handy app.. My MIL grew up in cities. Could not remember ever having seen a planet. Used this app to show her Venus and Mars. Looking forward to Jupiter and maybe Saturn. Seems almost magical to her.

Best outdoor game ever!. So I was watching the news and it said that I will see planets outside, at night they didn’t know what planets were there but I got this app and I went outside at night pointed it up at the sky and i saw Mars, Mercury, and Jupiter.

I saw a commet. I love this app so much. I got to see a commet with my naked eye. I know that’s kind of hard to believe but it was a very bright commet and I got to see it for like 15 minutes. I am super happy with this app.

Very fun. This app you can see all of the telescopes an all the planets. You can even see the shooting stars on the app, I’ve always loved space so my dad told me to get this app. Thank you for making this very awesome app.

Obtain display of galexies. I saw a little cardboard box that came in the mail flat and once folded together sat on top of a light bulb and when screw in the accompanying receptacle and the 2’ extension cord would show all the different stars and give a good idea of the galaxy in the nighttime Where can I find something like that to get children and their parents interested in watching the stars? Mine boggling power. Incredible application. Point it at the sky and it shows you all the constellations. Tap on it it’ll tell you the star. The application is mine, boggling in its power, a true gift to humanity from its creator.

Almost right. Good app that’s been ruined by lengthy apps that you can’t skip and at times redirects you to the App Store. Nothing ruins a app more then this fatal flaw. I understand apps have to have ads but making someone sit through a minute long app and then funneling them to the App Store without a reason is just criminal in my perfect society.

Amazing app for stargazers. I love this app because it informs you of stargazing things that are coming up. You can point your phone camera at a constellation or an illumination in the sky and it will identify what it is.
