Great app. As someone who is not afraid of flying and absolutely loves it this app is a must! It explains what is going on and is perfect for the curious traveler.

Last update broke the app. Worked fine on my last 2 trips. Did the last update now the app crashes as soon as I open it. Unresponsive. Even hard reset my device with no success. Running the most current iOS version. Please fix it.

Was good, now buggy. Redesign looks nice but flight setup stalls when you enter departure time. FIX THIS.

Subscriptions keep changing. I paid for unlimited service for this app twice now, and it keeps just disappearing and I have to pay again. I’ve emailed the company twice with no response. Quite the scam they have going. Save your money.

Don’t bother. The free version of the app provides almost zero value, tells nothing of what you’d actually get by buying it, and is essentially just a really complicated way to get no helpful info. To the app dev team, provide some clue first then ask for money. Also, any pathway in the free version totally resets your search...let my parameters persist so I don’t have keep entering in the same flight info again and again. Deleting this now.

It’s a scam Do not purchase. Nothing works. They charge you Acts like it will perform its duty and it never does.

Not helpful. This app is so hard to use. There’s no ability to go back. You get stuck in a virtual chat. It automatically fills info that you didn’t enter. Just completely frustrating.

Used to be great! Doesn’t work that well now. The old version was great! The new version is a chatbot that frequently has server errors or restarts.

Doesn’t work. I think the idea is great but it never found my flight. I had to invent a time and it really became like a Demo.. would not recommend to buy this st this stage. Wait at least 1 year.

Waste of Money. All the app would do on the plane was continuously power down. Needs some bug fixes. I was really looking forward to this app while flying, but ended up being very disappointed. I want my $ back. I would let the app run for about 30 minutes prior to the flight as instructed. Once on the air plane I switched to airplane mode as instructed, 5 seconds later the app closed and sent me back to my home screen. I would pull the app up again and after about 5 seconds the app would again close automatically and bring me to my home screen..This was very frustrating..Waste of money ! Wish I could get a refund and tell everyone not to purchase this app !

Great for aero phobia. It really works great during flight with constant information of what is going on -and is so accurate. I like to know what to expect. The AR feature is also cool. However, today when i had already purchased and started a flight the app just logged me out asking to log in again, of course no more WiFi because the plane was taxing. I paid for the feature I did not even get to use . That was a really bumpy flight and every moment I thought I wish it did not crash on me like this... 9 hour flight ahead of me I hope it will not crash on me this time. Upd: changing this to 1 star. No one got in touch with me regarding the app crash after 1 year. I purchased 10 flights, had 2 left. Will not be buying anymore and won’t recommend to anyone because the app is unreliable.

KEEPS CRASHING. I was very hesitant to spend my money on this app. I did and all it did was crash. Very disappointed.

Can’t Start App. Paid for and downloaded App. To begin using the app it keeps asking for “the code I’ve been sent”. I haven’t received a code despite many attempts to do so. So no way to use the app.

Save your $. Worst App. Constant crashes, does not pull up flight plan, crappy interface. I couldn’t get this to work at all.

Unreliable - server error. The estimated turbulence map from weather maps is great as a "psychological tool" to see roughly what to expect. However, the app is unreliable, many "server error"s and flight not found errors. Also the message-based ui feels like a cool experiment that is not very usable (it's very linear and cluttered).

Life changing. Pretty sure this app is the only reason I’m enjoying my honeymoon. Over the past few years I had a sudden fear of flying that was filled with dread and illogical thoughts. I came across this app a couple weeks ago since I have a lot of flights to go on this month. Having this app saved me from cancelling a month long honeymoon! I felt like I had a friend/pilot/therapist on the flight with me reassuring me about every sound and sensation, the safety , the tools , the sense of control is 10/10. Even explaining why there is fear of flying vs the reality of what is happening on the flight just makes me feel so safe and comforted. I haven’t had any glitches yet maybe once where it restarted and I had to re buy a flight but it was still worth it for me.

Never received code. I was really excited to try this app but I never received the code after I registered.

Doesn’t work. I downloaded the app, bought 3 flight credits, and tried to get information about an upcoming flight. It said the app would notify me before my flight, but it never did. When I tried to input the flight later, it then said it could not find the flight. I tried a third time and got this blank screen where I can’t type anything in. I deleted the app and tried to re download, but I get the same screen. Great in theory, but doesn’t work.

Idea is good but functionalities not working. I have paid for 10 flights and unfortunately it did not work , has a lot of bugs ie showed we are taking off while we were still on ground , could not find flights .... list goes on I would recommend it as a free app but do not lose your money

Will never fly without again!!. I have never, ever left a review for an app before. I feel that reviewing this app is so important because of how crippling flight anxiety is. I have struggled with a fear of flying most of my life but haven’t wanted to stop flying because I enjoy traveling. Recently, my tween children have started showing fears as well and I realized I need to truly get help. Medicating with Ativan and Xanax helps but only temporarily and leaves me groggy at the other end of the trip. Enter SkyGuru. I tried it on a whim, but was unsure because of cost and was worried because of reviews about it not working. Here’s some tips: Downloading will work right away, but the flight won’t access until closer to departure. The app says within 24 hours but I found it to be closer to 12. Also, my Delta flight needed to be entered as DL 9999 instead of just 9999 so those letters need to go first. As soon as it connected to my flight I began receiving the most interesting and helpful data regarding my flight!!! It knew when I checked into the airport. The history of my plane and it’s safety stats. I took a hair tie and anchored my phone to the arm of my seat and it calibrated to the plane. I put the phone in airplane mode when we began to taxi. I learned more about the flight than I ever have in my life. It told me all the feelings I was feeling and warned me of turbulence and how long I would be feeling it. I was able to share this with my nervous children and even with other passengers. I did all my usual things, earplugs, slow breathing, a small amount of anxiety meds (1/3 of my usual dose), but this app has changed everything. I am so grateful for this app. I feel that all anxious travelers should be using it and would readily shout it from the rooftops!!!

App doesn’t work. I downloaded a week ago and have been trying to input information to prep for an upcoming but the app just brings me back to the virtual SkyGuru asking “What times your flight?” Have tried deleting and re-downloading, but nothing works. Shame, was hoping this would be more helpful.

Thank you. The program is amazing! I have a fear to fly since I’m 15 and now I’m 24! I know about creator and I would like to speak with him about my problems in the future, because he is amazing psychologist and aviator! He did a great job to help people! Amazing App | Life Changing. I’m a frequent flyer but I have a crippling illogical fear of flying. All I can say is wow and thank you so much for this incredible app. It made me understand the procedures and different flight tactics that take place throughout the flight with a very impressive messaging system that updates you live. It felt as if I had the pilots ears and eyes and I knew exactly what was happening when it was happening. All I can say is if you have flight anxiety give this app a chance. Didn’t work. I paid for the 3 flights and the app didn’t work at all. Tried multiple times before my flight and throughout my flight. Wouldn’t even start the process. Needs to be fixed. Waste of money

Doesn’t work. I thought I’d try this, sounds like a great idea. I just downloaded the app and it starts with sky guru texting you asking you when your flight is, flight number etc. but then it says “please repeat your request on a day before your data” when the flight I input was for tomorrow afternoon. Love the idea, hate that it does absolutely nothing

Don’t buy this app. Charged me twice gave me no information about my flight. $12 down the drain

Keeps Crashing. Downloaded and paid for my current flight. Upon loading my flight the app subsequently crashes and upon reopening crashes again. Can’t get the app to stay open, once loading my flight, more than 5 seconds before it crashes.

Horrible. The only flight that worked was the first flight. I baught a set of 3 flights for $11.99 and all 3 flights when I submitted the flight info they didn’t have any info on the flight and used my credits. There is no email or phone number to get reimbursed or to get your flight credit. Instead there is an address you have to write to in Russia. Waste of money. Do not waste your money on this stupid app.

I really want this to work. I’ve been a user of this since it’s development. I’m an anxious flyer and it has helped me so much but recently neither of the apps (old and new version-I prefer old version) have worked well. I really want this app to work and hope the developers continue to perfect this app because it’s so informative and works wonders for anxious passengers. Please keep this app going!

App is stuck in a loop and not working. I tried to look up flight. First I entered the date. Then It asked for the time however when I clicked it again made me select the date and a loop started… I could not find a help button so I can only write a bad review for help

App does not work at all- no response from their “Support” team. As other reviewers have noted, the app does not work: in all instances I have tried to use it, I get the message “an internal error has occurred; please contact Support.” Of course, there appears to be no actual Support team. I reached out to them to request help, no response. I have had to file a complaint with my credit card co. at this point to get my money refunded. It is sad that these people are taking money from people they are promising to help. I call that “theft.”

Gam me changer but upset. I have used this app and it’s helped me tremendously. I went to buy more flights as now I feel I can fly to Europe. Well- it ain’t working now! Lol. Irony. I inboxed the app on Facebook. They replied they knew about the error and were sorry and asked me to try later. Well- my flight is at a certain time here - so anyway to get flight $ back I’m truly upset it isn’t working as this app has been amazing.

More than 2 years user. I like sky guru very much. It helps me a lot! I always buy several trips in advance. I do not know what is happening but I can not apen the app on my cel. I have tried to do everything but it is not helping. I wouldn’t want to miss my package of trips already bought can you help me? Thank you

2-year user. I haven’t used SkyGuru since my flights last December (Hanoi - Singapore), and there have been substantial improvements in the information shared during the flight and the quality of that information. I need to be able to glance and read what is going in as it is happening. This helps me calm myself much quicker. It’s annoying to keep a phone sideways an entire flight, but I do understand why this is necessary. As someone who hates to fly, I really appreciate this app as a tool used to help me feel more in control of myself while flying. Made it Hanoi - Taipei - LAX with only minor anxiety issues. Very proud of myself and thankful for this app (and Xanax and wine!)!

MUST download if you fear flying. So I am a terrible flyer. I get extremely anxious and the worst thoughts possible come through my head when traveling via airplanes. Take off is actually my biggest issue and where I endure the most fear. I was on my way back home to Chicago 3 days ago and has a pretty terrible anxiety attack to the point where I thought I might die (literally). It got so bad that I wanted to rent a car for the way back and drive to Denver. Well I spent the entire weekend reading about airplanes and my fear of flying and someone stumbled into this app. I can say with confidence that this app saved me from going through the same thing again. The app takes its time to explain to you every single step an airplane takes from the moment you get in to the moment you get out. It tell you when you should expect turbulence and how bad it will be. It explains to you why it’s happening and so many more things. I will continue to use this app for the rest of my life I can GUARANTEE YOU. It told me the altitude of the plan, the pitch, the roll, where in the map I am, it would tell me when I’m crossing points of interests like major airports and cities. It couldn’t get better than that. Yes, the app does have some minor flaws. It could be worked on and made better but I’ll still give it a 5 star rating. It did for me everything that I needed the app to do. Thank you developers for creating a tool that will help me fly from now on.

Simply does not work.. Never could get registration to work. I don’t need an unstable, non working, amateurish app on my iPhone. So called support unhelpful and basically ignored me. Do not waste your time and certainly do not let them take your money.

No humans to contact. I was so excited about this app which was helpful on a couple of flights. However, I purchased another flight before an international trip and spent 30 minutes starting over because it kept logging me out. There is no way to reach a human either. I was panicking because I was relying on the app to help me through the flight. Now I’m trying to get a refund. There is absolutely no way to contact anyone. I’m was do hopeful, so I’m very disappointed. I have a lot of specific feedback I could give the designers, too, but there’s no way to reach anyone.

Best App Ever!. This app is one of the first things to actually help my fear of flying! It was so reassuring to have all the information in real time during the flight. I have told all my friends about it! I will definitely use it every time I fly from now on.

It used to be good - now it’s too glitchy. The app used to be fantastic. I used it very frequently. However, now with ANY flight despite uninstalling, reinstalling, logging in and out, even creating a new account and purchasing more flights, it still says ‘error retrieving data’ and I cannot get ANY flight data, no matter the time. 5 minutes in advance or 3 hours, it doesn’t matter, it glitches. So disappointing considering it has so much potential. Please reconsider charging so much for flights if it doesn’t even work :(

Can’t even open it. I would love to try this app but I can’t even open it on my iPhone because it just crashes immediately. I won’t be buying the full version if I can’t rely on the lite version even to open! Would love a fix if there is one... otherwise really disappointing as it sounds great but I just can’t use it.

Frequent App Crashes. This app is great for anxiety and explaining the motions or sounds during flight, especially when there is turbulence. It was disappointing to purchase 3 flights and have the app continually crash on the 3rd flight. Even after deleting, reloading and purchasing another flight it still crashed. Not worth the money when that happens.

This app is incredible but you need to do the full course. The app was incredibly helpful. I am so glad I did the course and had sky guru to support me. I was astonished at how positive my flying experience was, I haven’t felt this good in an airplane in years! Yes, I was scared a little at some stages of the flight but I had Aleksey’s voice in my head reminding me that it’s just adrenaline and that I’m safe. And the app explaining and reminding me all of the technical stuff was like a protective comfort blanket. Thank you so so much! Even my husband (who’s suffered through my numerous panic attacks and tears on flights for years) said that Aleksey Gervash is an absolute genius😄 So glad I listened to the full 60 hours of the course and finally invested this time to change my life!

Sent three emails but no one replying. I've paid for this app and also the pro version but it's no longer letting me login with Facebook. I've sent multiple emails but no getting back to me to login. Would have been 5 stars but it appears they've taken my money and now aren't providing the service.

It just stopped working. Firstly I bought it and right after they said- we updated and u will receive subscription for 1 year only instead of full. Thats scam. Now it doesn't even open. I want my money back.

This new version is a huge letdown. I was a big fan and long-time user of the first version of this app, which worked great and helped me immensely on countless flights. Unfortunately, when I tried to connect to the previous app, for my recent flight, old app was completely bugged, like it wasn’t supported anymore, and I couldn’t log into it. So I went ahead and downloaded the newest version - that’s the one I am writing a review for. On launch, the app told me I had a free flight to get used to the new UI. Great. But after I had to restart the app, the free flight was ended (even though my flight hadn’t even started yet). Huge bummer. But I was a loyal user and I have huge flying anxiety sooo I went ahead and BOUGHT one paying flight anyway, to give the new app a chance. For the whole journey the app was buggy, it didn’t react to what was happening in flight, it was completely useless and laggy, it repeated the same messages time and time again and made my phone overheat. I deleted the app before the flight was even over. I am now applying for a refund. TLDR: Don’t waste your money. Last version was fantastic, this one is a joke.
