Highly recommended. Amazing tool, works just as described. The ability to see the map with the transmitter locations, stations and all the information on what's being broadcasted makes it super easy to use. The compass feature further simplifies the process.

RV use. This has become my go-to app when traveling. Once parked, it shows which channels should be receivable at my location. A particularly useful feature is as I rotate the iPhone/iPad so that the pointer aligns with the desired tower location, the top of the device points in the direction I need to point my directional antenna. This has eliminated the frustration from doing failed channel scans because the antenna was pointed the wrong way. It is good to see that the author updates the app.

Mr. The compass does not work, which was the only reason I got this app. Don’t wast your money if your looking to use the compass.

Just what I needed. I manage several conference rooms and we use OTA during catastrophic events. Instead of browsing website and feeding information I can open this app, finds my location automatically, choose a channel and shows you where to point.

Confusing. Upon few days of use, this app does not provide much information about stations and the map is confusing.

Perfect! Worked as advertised!. I had an antenna to mount in my attic space and in an area that was very difficult to get to. Bagged up everything needed along with the antennae and proceeded to climb, crawl, and balance. Mounted the antennae and aligned it with the App to hopefully never return. Perfect alignment and strong signal on almost 70 channels!! App worked perfectly!!

Extremely Helpful. Have found this app extremely helpful, pointing the directional antenna on our RV in the right direction in marginal reception areas.

TV towers USA review. I used this app to fine tune my antenna at my lake home located on a remote island near Canada. It worked great and reception is much improved. This should be utilized by anyone using an antenna for TV!

Great app. Great app. Shows where the TV transmitters are and points you in the right direction. Even tells you the details and distance of the transmitters.

Awesome. Far more intuitive and accurate than another app I began with. I increased the number of channels accessible in my area threefold. If you're cutting the cord, this app is a must.

A fantastic DX'ing tool. Love it!!. Generally Helpful app designers have developed three great apps that I use all the time. FM, AM, and TV Towers USA. A hobby of mine is DX'ing, otherwise know as the hobby of tuning in stations broadcasting from distant locations. These apps are very helpful because it shows your location and the location of other transmitters throughout the country. This app has helped me take my hobby to the next level. I also love how it tells me exactly which direction to point my antenna. The app works great and is well worth the pocket change that it cost. If your a radio and television DX'er, this is the app for you. If you travel a lot, this app will also prove to be very helpful in finding a radio or television station that you want to tune in. Great idea and very nice apps . I highly recommend them.

Crap. I bought this to set up my tv antenna and I only got 6 channels. I tried a free app and I got 63 channels. Don’t waste your money.

Must have for ATSC. I heard about this app on the HDTV Podcast awhile back and I'm glad I picked it up. With it, I was able to tweak my indoor antenna. The result is that many local channels went for 50% signal strength to 70+%. It even helped pick up some of the more elusive towers.

Terrific app. No more guessing where the TV towers are. With this app, I was able to aim my antenna in the direction of the towers and get all my local channels crystal clear.

Best app purchase... EVER. This app is great. The best purchase I’ve ever made on the iPhone App Store. TV towers USA Shows all of my channels and the compass even helps. Almost instant tech-support from the author. So many times I drop a few bucks and feel cheated with all kinds a junkie iPhone apps, this is not one of them. It’s worth 10 times the cost.

Great app. This all has a fair amount of nice features. I really wish they would enter the ability to see an elevation profile from the TV tower to the home antenna. I'd really like to quickly and easily find out if a hill could be the cause of poor TV signal.

Fantastic app. Has no comparisons.. This is a fantastic app if you need to point a TV antenna (or FM or AM with the developers other apps). Or see the distance between you and a specific station’s transmitter site. The interface is clean and organized, it looks and operates like a million bucks. Also the developer once responded to an email where I had mentioned a tower had moved, and within about a day he found some new way to update his databases to reflect it. Phenomenal. Buy the bundle and get all three. TV, FM, and AM. It’s a good deal and could be fun and/or useful!!!

It’s ok. The contours button doesn’t work. The compass won’t show stations further away than about 40 miles.

A Really Good App. I have used other apps in the past and this is now probably my favorite. I was impressed with how Glenn responds (quickly) to questions and suggestions. Another example of Glenn’s explanation was his discussion on the difference between True and Magnetic North (and how to switch the iPhone Compass app from magnetic to true North. Because this app uses True North. After those discussions, there is one enhancement that I think would be a good addition. In map, you can see stations any distance from you (by varying the zoom). But in the Compass tab, the app is limited to 60 mile radius. I would like to see the ability to vary the radius (from 60 miles) to other distances. I ran into this instance in Dubuque, IA where I was receiving stations outside the (fixed) 60 mile radius and had to use the other tabs/detail section to get a compass bearing. That is why I didn’t give it 5 stars (even though I feel it does deserves more than 4 stars 🙂).

Use of. Not very useful if you’re having problems with receiving antenna strength problems and a directional HD antenna.

Makes antenna aiming a snap. Use this with my RV, reveals the stations available in an area and call letters ( so can check listings online). And so easy to point the antenna- I suggest this app to other rv campers as a top time saver!

Great customer support. Bought this app and loaded it on both my iPad and iPhone. The iPad worked great but on the iPhone, the compass part didn't work. Sent a support email and got a response in minutes. After a few back and forth emails, Glenn instructed me to change a setting on my iPhone and it works perfectly now. The best and most timely customer service I have ever received over the internet.

Awesome for Finding Stations. As an RV’er, TV Towers is how we find local channels everywhere we stay. We know exactly which direction to point our antenna for best reception.

Awesome for finding antennas while RV'ing. We've been full time RV'ing for a year or so. Each time we stop I need to locate antennas. Before this app I needed to use 3 different tools to get the information I needed. This app does it all in one, and so far does it wonderfully. Thanks for designing this.

Great useful app for OTA users. What a great app! At first, I was hesitant and it would not believe it would work until I start viewing on channels that I know I had issue on prior to the adjustment. Thank you so much for the app.

ONE TIME. Just buy it. Developer will even answer questions they’re not obligated to answer. Give the man his two dollars...climb up on your roof ONE TIME...and be done with it. Don’t even mess around with the free apps.

Great App - good job developer(s). After upgrading my cell phone just 2 days ago, I wondered .... "Maybe there is a better antenna pointing App out there..." I had an app I downloaded years ago that was terrible. With the new phone I deleted that app and started looking for a new one that would help me point my rabbit-ears type antenna better. I found TV Towers. Having cut the cable years ago, I am fully committed to antenna TV. This app is THE BEST for visually mapping where the towers are, what networks broadcast from those towers, and how to point (again visually) your antenna PRECISELY to the tower. I love how you can touch on detailed info on a station/network and it gives you a graphic at the bottom that works with your compass to literally line-up (even more precisely) your antenna with the tower. There are many other useful tools built in as well.

Quit working on 2 iPhone. IOS 16.1.2 turned off compass calibration but the compass still worked perfectly only the TV towers app quick working on 2 different iphones. 🤷🏻‍♂️. Working again after turning it back on.

Does not cover Austin, Texas. Was installing an HD antenna to cut the cable and wanted this app to point my antenna. None of my local stations are covered by this app. Wasted my $$ on this one!!

Compass fail.... I’m not sure if it’s just me, but the compass function does not work on my phone. I look up the tower data and use my compass app on my phone to “aim”...kinda defeats the purpose. I’ll update if it starts working...

Very useful. As the author mentions, if you're an RV'er, this is a very useful tool to have. It would be even better if I could drop a pin at an arbitrary location in addition to measuring from my current GPS position.

Great app. Great app for RVers. I thought I knew which way the local stations were located until I loaded this app. Found out there were stronger stations 180 degrees from the direction I was pointing.

Junk. Compass is very inconsistent also can’t scroll down on list of channels on compass so if u are looking for a channel not on list u dono if you are actually pointing towards the channel u want worst 2.00$ ever would not let me rate 0 stars😡 compass is actually bout 70 degrees off w no settings

Huge Timesaver. I've been on my roof many times with a transmission tower map and a compass trying to get my antenna to reach its full potential. This app made it so easy! My signal strength went up and I gained four more channels in the process. Save some time and download this app. It's totally worth the price.

Cr@p of an app. Customer service is worthless.. Don’t waste your money. I contacted CS and of course they blame my phone. I have never had a problem with an app before now I do and it’s my phone’s fault. Garbage app with garbage support.

Very very helpful. I live in a rural area. I bought an antenna n I couldn't find any signal at all. Until I bought this app. It helped me find the one exact spot to get signals. App is worth every penny!

Extemely helpful. Purchased this app after seeing YouTube video. Had a little trouble initially with the compass feature. Wrote the developer and received a response quickly regarding a a setting in my iPhone. Worked great afterwards and used it to validate my OTA direction. Great app, recommend highly for “cut the cord” enthusiasts.

Delightfully surprised!. Oh my! It works SO well! I’ve been struggling with lining up my antenna for the last 2 years. Then I came across this app! At first I was a bit confused on how to use it but then found a YouTube video explaining how to use it…. So simple! Went out and tried it and with one twist of the pole I had all the channels from the closest tower! No rescanning, no running back and forth between the TV a and the outdoor antenna, pure bliss!

TV Towers App. I'm an antenna guy and I travel. This app is great for locating stations and their areas of coverage.

Which way is it???. This would be a nice app if it pointed in the right direction! Most of the time its sense of direction differs from the compass app. How can that be? Once in a while it will point in the correct direction.

Great for RV owners. The App is a great tool for RV travel. Just select the app, point the phone toward the tv towers, point the antenna the same direction as the phone. Just remember to stow the antenna before you travel. The app says it works with 5.1.1 (the last iOS for ipad1). I find that it crashes every time I try to start it on iPad 1. App works great on iOS 7.

Dave. Worst app ever. I paid for something I can get for free off the net. It says point and it will show. Doesn't happen like that at all!!

Save your money. Useless compass pointer did not work at all You can use the FCC website and iOS compass offset to point your antenna correctly.
