Pictures not printing to scale. I’ve tried printing a few pics from my iPhone app to the camera. They look the way I want them to in the app but when they print it is a stretched out version of the picture that doesn’t even use 2/3 of the photo paper. Very strange.

Like this gift. Needs to reset it when I first got that should be something that would be said in the manual. Over all I am capturing the moments I want. Merry Christmas some many reviews where not fair I think people don’t know how to use it. Don’t believe everything you read.

Horrible product. This is an absolutely horrible product in design. It will not print correctly and consistently gives errors. Do not buy this product and less you want to pull your hair out and waste money

Constantly Disconnecting. Crashes frequently and constantly disconnects from camera, making it impossible to print more than 1 picture without getting frustrated. Such a great concept, so I’m very hopeful Polaroid will fix it.

One star writers are clearly technically challenged. This thing worked great! Yes I had to update firm ware but it took like 10mins and now my pop is printing everything! This is the coolest love it thanks

Don’t waste your time or money. This app is utter garbage and doesn’t function in the slightest. It’s WiFi connectivity function that it advertises doesn’t work no matter what I do. There’s nothing wrong with the camera itself, my phone is fine, but the app isn’t fine. It just tells you to go back and connect to the POP WiFi again and again even though it’s been connected the whole time. All I want to do is print a simple photo in a Polaroid fashion but this nonsense app hinders my enjoyment. My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined. Sincerely, an unhappy customer

Editing problem. I think the app would be good except that no matter what I do, the alignment totally cuts off half of my picture. It ends up printing only part of the picture (either cutting off the top of the pic or the bottom of someone’s chin). These are just standard sized pictures (whether imported from my phone or taken directly on the device), and as much as I can condense them or resize, it just doesn’t scale correctly to print the final edit as selected the in the preview. I’ve tried different types of photos as well (people, scenes, etc), I feel like I’m wasting my paper. Is this something that you can address? Thank you so much.

Newest update WORKS!. After much! effort I had the wireless printing working before the update but easily lost WiFi connection. BUT now it works consistently and easily. I like being able to adjust and size the image on my phone or iPad and print. Thanks!

Will not connect to app.. Won’t connect to the app via wifi even though it is connected in the phone. I have deleted and re installed the app multiple times with the same issue.

Not worth your time. Don’t bother even buying the product. It’s overpriced for some pixelated crummy pictures. The app won’t even sync with the PolaroidPop so even if you’re connected to it, it will say to make sure you’re connected with your PolaroidPop. Waste of time and money.

If you are looking for a sign to not get this, this is it.. App doesn’t connect to device at all. Have had for about 2 years and try to use the Pop atleast once a month have only been able to get it to work the first day I got it. Going to go find a more reliable app.

Can’t connect. I used to be able to connect and print my photos on my pop. Recently I got a newer iPhone model and can not connect with the app anymore. My phone and pop connect just fine, but the app continuously tells me that I am not connected to my pop when I am. Now I can’t print photos from the app.

Broke my camera. I tried to print a photo off of my phone, and it stated I needed a firmware update to do so, I tried to update it, and it broke my camera. It won’t turn on anymore. Money wasted. Don’t even bother.

Amazing. Having lots of fun taking pictures and adding what ever text I want to add. Get one you’ll love it. I can guarantee it!!

Omg fix it already!. Keeps asking for update. Then crashes the second you print a photo. Super disappointing. This is actually my second POP and the first one would not turn on again after doing the firmware update twice! Be careful. Take your own photos and avoid app until it’s fixed.

Crashes constantly. I just received my Polaroid POP. Every time I download the firmware, it does not work. It just asks me to download it again. I am not impressed with this product or app. $200 for this camera!? and the app doesn’t even work?

Works great so far!! Love it!. I read a lot of reviews and sooo many people complained about the filters stacking and it not clearing after each one instead. Polaroid is a photography company and has been longgg before digital photography came along. If you can’t figure out why they would give you that option then I would look for something more user friendly. Stacking filters allows for sooo many different effects and honestly how hard is it to scroll to the end and just clear it each time your messing around with it. For convenience I would ask that they add a back button so you could go back to just the last filter you added last so you don’t lose the effect they had prior to trying another but it’s whatever lol. Good job Polaroid it’s a lot of fun!

Easy Fun Way To Print. On the spot printing and super to set up

Keeps crashing. Wants firmware update every time you connect camera and phone. When I try to go to gallery on phone to print on camera immediately crashes. Really disappointing to pay this much and the app doesn’t work at all.

Collage. I love the collage feature . It’s fun and helped me to create amazing collages of my daughter birthday party .

Effectively Useless. I’m a pretty tech savvy person, but I have exhausted everything I can think of to pair my phone to the app and the camera’s WiFi only to— without fail— be told that there’s no internet connection, every single time that I’ve tried connecting. Between forgetting all other available networks I’ve previously joined, making sure the auto-join possibilities are turned off, trying to connect with both my Bluetooth turned on and off, and even factory resetting the Pop itself, nothing has worked or produced any different results and I’m stuck with the “No Internet Connection” message in my WiFi section when I try connecting to the Pop. Because my phone won’t connect, the app is completely useless for me.

Please fix firmware update message!. I love the camera, but the app is constantly telling me theres a “new firmware update”. I’ve updated the camera about 5 times already and the message keeps popping up. I can’t even edit the pictures without the message coming up 😢

Ughh. Website says the firmware can be download on app but I can’t seem to find it anywhere can’t use my pop it’s basically useless right now

Disappointing. Even though the camera recognizes my phone (I can see it on the display after connecting to the built in pop WiFi) and my phone recognizes the camera (it created a separate folder for photos to upload from the pop) there’s no transfer of the images in either direction. This is a fantastic concept that just doesn’t have the technological chops to be functional.

Doesn’t work with the app. I’ve been taking pictures with my phone to import from the app to print because of the lighting where I’m using the camera and it just keeps saying “make sure you are connected to a POP.” Well when I check the POP it shows connected to my phone and vice versa. This is so ridiculous and such a hassle. App is trash.

So slow and crashes all the time. I had an iPhone 6 and it use to be working really good and the app was so cool! But now I’ve got a 7 plus and it crashes all the time and the prints look 90% worse than what they did on my other phone. I also had to get a new polaroid because of internal damage I believe but before that the app and the pop was awesome!!!! That probably has nothing to do with it but PLEASE fix this!! It’s so slow and almost never works. The wifi almost never connects and ahhhh it’s so annoying because i really like this app!! PLEASE FIXXXX!!!!

It won’t connect to my phone. My Polaroid pop won’t connect and I’ve tried everything. Please upload a video tutorial on how to connect your device. I’ve printed from my phone before, but the app doesn’t seem to be cooperating.

When it works it’s great.. The app constantly crashes when trying to use it. That really needs to be solved ASAP! Love the camera and really want to print pics from my phone and it does work but the app is not consistent.

Trouble. I’m having trouble connecting the Polaroid to the iPad I am going to Wi-Fi settings but I cannot see “Your Polaroid POP WiFi network”. I should really be giving you 1 star if you can help I’ll update to 5 stars. SO ANNOYING 😡😡😡

Awesome app!!. I’m so glad that I got this app, it has made things a lot easier. I also like how it doesn’t cost to get the app, that’s one major problem I have with the best apps. But this is the best and it’s free. I don’t have any problems with this app!! Thank you so much!!!!

WiFi Won’t Connect. I’m not sure if it is because I’m using an iPhone7, or if my product is janky, but the WiFi will not connect to my phone. All my phone says in settings is “no internet connection” and therefore will not let me connect. Please fix!

No way to simply transfer photos from camera to phone. I don’t understand how to easily transfer all the photos stored on the camera card onto my phone. There should be a two-click way to do this.

Not working with iPhone 7 Plus. Keeps saying update firmware and once you do app crashes. It will pair with my iPad Pro however but will only send over pictures to Polaroid that were taken on iPad.

Amazing Polaroid pop app. It’s very fun to take pictures with stickers and being able to decorate pictures that you’ve already taken

Not user friendly at all. Takes about 20 tries before I can actually print out any photo. Disconnects constantly and paper is expensive. Camera screen is flimsy and tech/app is soooo not up to 2018 standards. Waiting for an update that makes this Polaroid experience amazing.

Awful. This app has so much potential to be so cool but it’s awful!!! It works once every 50 tries. Doesn’t update. Crashes non stop and won’t stay connected long enough to print a picture. So disappointed.

refuses to believe i’ve connected to my camera. after turning my phone, my camera, my phone’s wifi connection, and my camera’s wifi signal off and on again repeatedly, this app refuses to acknowledge what my phone’s wifi settings and my camera agree on—the devices are paired and in close proximity. printing from my phone worked once, the day i opened the camera, but it’s either incredibly fickle or has somehow stopped working. either way, this app not recognizing the present wifi connection is extremely frustrating and seriously limits the camera’s functionality, at least for me.

Quality. Sometimes it won’t let me crop the photos, but other than that it’s ok.

Worst. I have had this 3 months and it no longer prints. I never really do reviews but this time it is warranted. I have reset camera deleted and restored the app... nothing. The sole reason I purchased this camera is for the ability to print from my iPhone.

Wished it worked!. I just got a Polaroid Pop for my birthday! Love the camera and couldn’t wait to use the app for all the extra features! Sadly disappointed 😢. App doesn’t work at all! Loses connection to my phone cannot upload or print; keep getting lost connection or transfer mode lost (something like that) error messages. Hopefully this can and will be fixed!

App needs work.. App is a great idea. That all I have good to say about it. Crashes all the time. Keeps saying the firmware needs updated even though I have already done it multiple time for two different iPhones. Now the camera itself will. It power down. Very frustrated. Please beware of this app and the Polaroid Pop itself.

Booo. It stopped working after a while even tho I refilled the paper things it keeps saying it not connected but every time I check to see the wifi is always connected so now it won’t print anything 🙄

Not encouraging. Crash. Crashed on iPhone 7 during photo editing. Not encouraging, nor expected given the companies hype, but I am hopeful that they will work out the bugs. Big pluses- once it gets working it will be an awesome app that will augment the Polaroid Pop and turn it into a usable photo printer. The odd- limited stickers and odd near unusable color selection interface for "painting" or marking up the photos, but a workaround is to use a third party photo editing app.

Bug. it's a great camera i'm just having trouble connecting my phone and the camera together i connect to wifi and go to the app to continue it doesn't do anything

Can’t get printer to connect. Client have been trying to connect my printer to the app and it just won’t work. I called customer service and they told me an update was being released at the end of that week well it’s been 3 weeks now and still nothing. I used to be able to print before with the prior application and now nothing.

Prints and filters are terrible. The two basic important functions of the app don’t work. First, printing from the app doesn’t transfer wirelessly like it should, resulting in prints that come out beyond blurry and pixelated, like the quality turned into an extremely compressed image file. The second issue I’m having is with the filters. The way the filters work is very basic and not useful, almost like a beta version. You have to clear the previously used filter every time to see a different one on the photo. There’s no way to go back and the filters stack on top of each other. The execution of it just isn’t...good. Sliders would be much better. My prints also come out with an orange line on the top and response from support was that it’s a known issue and the only way to potentially fix it is to use the reset button, but otherwise you’re SOL. Why is the camera still being sold, then? Beyond getting poor customer service, I also don’t want to buy another Polaroid product.

Terrible. Terrible , friend made me download it for him because it only works for iPhone and has the worst time trying to access the machine, kept asking to connect to the device while I already was

Wow I’m impressed!!. I love the polaroid app and camera! I really love how you can print photos strait from your phone to the camera! (I have a iPhone SE.) I have gotten the cutest pics, and are very happy with the results!!😃

Works better on lower models of iPhone. I love this camera and I love the app! It always works great when I use it with my iPhone SE. I only have problems with it when I try to use it when I’m connected to another WiFi source but I don’t think that’s the apps fault my phone just wants to auto connect to the WiFi instead of the camera. Great app and great camera!!

Great idea bad execution. I love being able to print from this camera. The pictures have a great retro feel. The app is buggy however and the ios13 update completely broke the connectivity between the app and my phone. I called support and they said they were working on a fix and that it would be a few weeks. Yikes! Come on Polaroid.

Won’t work after the update. Please update this app, it has too many bugs right now, which makes the whole experience horrible. After every single time I preview the picture, instead of returning me to the gallery, the pop up redirects me to update the firmware which I already did! Quite annoying. Now, after the update, when I try printing a photo, there’s an error “lost connection, try again.” And then the app just shuts down! Please fix. Thank you.

Can’t connect. The iPhone is connected to the camera and the pop sees the iPhone. The app never registers that the two are connected. I’ve shut each down, checked for updates. The app refuses to connect. The camera is nice, the app is bunk.

pls fix app asap. app keeps telling me i need to update the software but crashes everytime i try to do so! the camera is great but it would be nice if the mobile picture printer aspect would work! please fix asap , the app should be working for a camera that cost $200!

What software??. The app keeps tell me to download this firmware that I have downloaded several times. The firmware is V1.15.18.08. I’ve done pretty much anything I could to download it. I got a sims card in it and everything it just won’t work. It just resets my camera. Theres nothin wrong with the camera. It’s the app that doesn’t work. The camera is great. The pictures that it takes are pretty cool but the app just won’t work with this. I don’t understand why doesn’t work I’m not an expert so I have no room to talk. But I think that y’all should really look into fixing this. When y'all fix this probably download the app again but right now I just have no use for it.

Not happy. I try to connect my iPhone to the Polaroid pop to print out picture from my phone and it asking to me update the firmware so I download the firmware and try and nothing for the price I paid for it is not worth it

App won’t recognize connection. The camera will be connected to my PoP WiFi but the app doesn’t recognizes that it’s connected therefore I cannot use it to print from my phone

Stoped working after a while. The app and the device where working just fine in the beginning then by now the device barely works and the app works horribly.

Features don’t work.. I have to shutdown the app every time I want to do something new. Borders and stickers don’t sync. Font is white and difficult to edit on pictures.

Impossible to connect. I was just simply trying to connect my iPhone 12 to the pop polaroid camera but it’s not possible!! It has the same screen and both devices and doesn’t even give me an opportunity to type in the code. I’m disappointed with the app. I enjoy the camera but I’m frustrated with this app. I was worried there was going to be issues because of what the other reviews said.

Worthless. Camera reports firmware version is v1.15.18.08. Every time I connect the app to the camera it tells me I need to update the camera’s firmware... to that exact same version number. No matter how many times I do that update, it still tells me that. And because it “needs” a firmware update, it refuses to connect to the camera, rendering the app absolutely worthless. Add this piece of garbage software to a terrible camera (1: press and hold off, and then I can’t turn the camera back on without using paper clip to reset the camera. Exact same problem on two different units. 2: picture quality is pretty terrible. Even my young daughter noticed, and now prefers using a camera phone to her gifted Pop. 3. Even on the old software, connections to the app continually failed) and it’s evident this whole thing needed more development time before being released.

Can’t connect. I wish I could give this app a good review, but I couldn’t connect it with my camera at all. I don’t understand the instructions. I hope they will be made more specific. Thank you.

Does not work after a few weeks. The app keeps telling me to connect using their WiFi and I do and it still says not connected

Terrible! Crashes!. Followed instructions. I’m running newest IOS. I deleted the app and reinstalled. It still crashes. I’m taking the camera back tomorrow for a refund. Terrible!!
