The game has unmet potential. The game has potential, unfortunately it doesn't quite meet it. The player should be given extra credit when extra words are spelled, and if not extra credit, the words should at least somehow be acknowledged. I was given 3 letters t a r and needed to spell 3 words- rat, art, at and the obvious word tat was rejected.

“Word Blob Review”. The twist where the “golden letter” must be in every word is a nice touch in setting this particular word game apart from others similar to it. This and that it is just an overall fun game, period, is why it gets a five-star rating. Thank you ever so much for making such a wonderful game. Please keep up the wonderful work.

So far so good. First several levels fairly decent. I like word games so so far so good. Will edit later if I find glitches Edited: watch out if using for kids. One of the ads just showed A cartoon version of a woman finding her husband/boyfriend cheating on her with someone else. Suggest paying to get rid of ads if using for kids

Unlike many board games, they actually have all the words in the dictionary!. Most word games omit so much that you can’t practice for scrabble, or do anything useful with them because you’re not gonna learn those relatively rare words that win games. But this game has them all. It really challenges you and I like that!

Aunt B. I do love spelling games; however this one wants only the words it has designated and will not take another that also follows the rules and ysed the 'magic letter'. So am wondering why, when it is a viable word? Will continue playing however.

Find a word is great!. I just started but it is still challenging even with short words. I have been doing very long words in other games but even the shorter words jog the memory and as you get into it , it is addicting to keep going.

Fun but lacking.... The only reason for giving this game a 'four-star rating' is that, in some puzzles, more words can be found, yet they are not included in the options. If the object is to find words, then any and all possible words should be accepted. Example: The puzzle gives the letters "N, I, and T" but accepts only 'Nit, It and In.' The word 'Tin' is not accepted. Huh???! Makes no sense... PS: I will be deleting because as I progress through the levels, more ads appear; there are ads between EVERY level. This ruins a potentially great game. :(

Enjoying it, and spending isn't mandatory. Unlike many "free" apps, there are a lot of options. Coins to help with clues are gained by completing puzzles and doing daily challenges. This is a fun game, and often surprising on which words they have chosen. Along the way, when you spell real words that aren't the "correct" words for that puzzle, you are still slowly building towards additional coins.

Kikibaby. I've been plying this game for awhile and I like it very much, but after trying to solve the last word I got it right and it went away so quick I never knew what word it was. That was very frustrating. It should remain for awhile so one can see the last word.

Fun. This is a good vocabulary builder for people of all ages. For children, it's a good "tool" to help with motor skills & eye-hand coordination. It's a fun way to improve spelling skills, as well. Be sure, when playing, that you have the time because the time goes by quite quickly!!!

Games. This game is fun and educational - keeps you wanting to play - can’t wait each day to play more of it - I love doing the daily puzzles too - my kids and husband even love it - I like it for my youngest because it has an educational value to it too - she is understanding how to spell her words - and how to make new words with it !!!

Good game. Just started playing and it's a fun game. Have noticed it mixes up the order of the letters I swipe, so if I'm not paying attention I don't get the word even though it's correct. This bug is okay for the small words but as the game gets challenging it will get discouraging. But I'll see

No Brain Freeze Here!. This is a great game to keep you thinking. I just started and already I have a hard time putting it down. Ads are annoying, but you gain points if you watch them. I don't like spending money for games, so this works out for me. And if it wasn't for the ads, I would never have found this game to add to my small collection!!

One MAJOR Problem. I love this game. My daughter and niece enjoyed playing along with me. But, the buttons seem to be placed to completely screw you over. The Reveal a Letter and show where the main letter is seem to be placed to completely screw the player. Even my great nephew at 8 months cost me coins just touching the screen. I can't even number the amount of times I have accidentally hit one of those buttons. As you are running a finger along to spell a word; one wrong placement can cost you. I like the game, but this seems designed to cost you. You don't even have to agree to use coins. That is so infuriating.

Fun and challenging. Well I've only played a few rounds, but it was entertaining. Nice to play a game that isn't all about buying stuff to keep playing. Great alternative if you like using your brain to level up.

Sandor23. This is the first time I’ve ever tried word games and I picked yours cause it interested me. I love it. Some curl my hair as I try to figure out what works. If I can’t get them all at one time, I put it down and do something else. But I find myself thinking about the letters and come back to play some more. Thank you for such an interesting game.

Annoying ads. Fun game and I don’t mind an occasional ad...but in order to get hints you also watch ads...but it annoys me when I do watch the whole video or ad to get extra coins...and then a message tells me I have to watch the whole video. But I just watched the whole thing. That happens at least every other time I try to watch. So I’m watching videos for nothing ! Fix the game !

Great amazing. I started playing not knowing how good this game could be now I can't stop and it is addicting it's a game u could never get sick of also sense you have to make words it's actually helping you out for like school or something so say you're on summer vacation you can play this game and know that you're actually like getting an education in it well having the time of your life playing it download it right now you won't regret it

So far a great game. So far it's a great game. Even if the word isn't on the list you get credit and once you fill up the vile it gives you coins. Only problem is I wish you'd get more coins or the revealing of letters didn't cost as many coins.

Sorry it ended. I started playing this game almost from the onset and about 3 years ago I made it to the end. I was so sad to see it end and keep hoping for new levels but ALAS! I still do the daily challenges, hoping some day we will get new levels. This game is great. Beginning easy and progressing to longer words. A great way to pass the time and strength your vocabulary.

Fun so far?. So far, so good... I get annoyed though when we are asked to give a rating so early in a game. It would be a much more honest rating if more game play was aloud especially if the game becomes progressively more challenging. You might have received a full 5 star rating from me right here and now but I haven't played the game enough to give truly sincere opinion.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️+. Word Blobs is a terrific time filler for waiting on pickup from school, scout meeting, and especially at the airport. You can stop and resume with little to no problem. None of the “Where was I” or “What was the last play” because it is right in front of you eyes! Great game development and thanks for giving us something more than another crossword type game!!

Addicting.. I paid the $7 or whatever to get coins AND hide the ads. It's worth it. It's a simple game to learn, but it challenges your brain to come up with the "right" words they're looking for. You get a small reward for wry ten words you make up that are NOT the ones asked for. I find myself saying "just one more level... just one more level..." for an hour at a time.

So much fun but. I like the game so far. It's very fun but it's way too early to be asking for reviews. We are hardly in to playing the game and really finding out what it's all about. If I was able to play longer before giving this review it definitely would be 5⭐️

Fun for the Family. Cute game. Makes you think. My 11yo even likes it and he isn't a fan of reading or spelling. We even use the concept of making words from letters on signs etc. when we aren't playing on the app.

Fun but lacking. Fun to play but could be better. There are a lot of words that I've made with the magic letter that aren't in the puzzle but that I don't get coins for guessing. It would definitely make the app more fun to play because not only are you working towards finishing the puzzle but you are working at getting those coins.

Wanted something new. I saw this game and decided to try it. I like it, only wish that it didn't only use specific words. For instance, I could make a 3 letter word and a 2 letter word using an otp, so I spelled to and top and they would not allow it because the game wanted the word pot. Other than that, I like it.

Great game but there is a problem. This game is great and I would have rated it five stars but there is a problem that really bugs me. That problem is that in the daily puzzle after you guess about two to three words, the game automatically closes and your back on your home screen. And after you repeat the same process again, it will do the same thing again, over and over again. And when this doesn’t happen, then the game just fills in every answer but one for the daily puzzle. Also the prices for all the hints is a lot. You have to pay 95 coins for one hint while you only get 49 coins for each daily puzzle you complete. Unless the creators of this great game fixes these things, I will most likely stop playing this game. I really don’t want to because this is a great game, but I will if this isn’t fixed.

Fun game!. As you progress, the words become more challenging. It goes quickly and helps one stretch their vocabulary. Only downside, many words will work it won’t accept, yet will accept proper names it says it won’t, and frankly, some words accepted are not English, or are slang. Otherwise, lots of fun and be sure to do the daily puzzle everyday to build up points.

Brain candy!. This game is lots of fun while keeping your brain exercised. It takes a little bit for the words to get challenging, but it's still lots of fun to play at the easier levels!

Great Word Game. I am so glad I found this word game! The graphics are quite good - sharp with vivid colors. Letters are given and the player seeks words of various lengths. Each word must contain a specified letter, which is a different color from the rest of the letters. When a legitimate word is formed that is not one of the words that completes a blank, the player still benefits by gaining points. The game challenges players to find less common words, which I particularly enjoy. I recently had a problem and contacted the game makers. Their response was courteous, prompt and professional. If you like word games as much as I do, you might find that you have a new favorite! Linda

More fun than licking frozen door knobs!!!. This could possibly be a 5'er, but haven't had much time to play it. Only on level 1. Maybe they should wait to offer free coins until after you've finished a few levels. If it continues to be fun and challenging I may upgrade it to a 5.

One of a kind word game app!. So far no glitches and have only been playing 15 minutes; already addicted! Fast game play and really gets and keeps you thinking and better graphics than most word games! U do have to pay for hints but u get a lot of free hints too plus you can watch videos! If u like word games and fast thinking, then this is for you:)

Word blobs. It's a cute game. I have just started playing. Good for all ages. Two extra stars if you have school age children and you need another way for them to learn how to see new words. It will serve as a great brain teaser for them.

True brain workout. I love this game. One would think it easy to make words out of 6 letters but you would be surprised! You will never get bored. You will learn new words and best of all you will be challenging your brain while having fun. So much better then merely aiming and popping balloons. The folks that came up with this are brilliant!

Word game. I love word games of all types. This is a very cute game that makes you think from easy to difficult. I've just downloaded it and played only a few games so far, but I like it. I will update my review as I play it more. Rosalie

Dolly52. It is fun to do. However, it does not recognize some words that could give extra word bonus. It will give you a bonus on the words that are extra that program does recognize. It said arm was one of the words but did not give extra bonus for mar.

So far fun!. Just d/l this game and so far it's a twist on another word scrambled game. I like these kinds of games, so we'll see how this one rates as we trek forward. Still like this game. Believe me.. it gets harder. Words show up I haven't seen in years!! Great mind bender.

Husker me. I love this game!! It is a good word game and the graphics are great. I updated the app to get rid of the ads which was well worth the money. I also love the daily game as a good way to collect coins. I am about to the end of the levels. Will there be more added in a future update?

Fun so far!. So far it is a fun game, but it is only at the beginning. Hopefully it won't become too hard later. I noticed it has in game purchases. I haven't encountered them yet, so I don't know what that is all about.

Almost perfect. I've only completed 3 levels so far and I'm already about to delete it. It really makes me sad because I do love the game and I have a lot of fun making words and trying to think fast. With that being said; the amount of pop ups telling me to do this and that coupled with an ad every other game is really annoying. Im already about to delete it for the ads alone. I can understand an ad maybe every couple of levels completed. But it's every other match won I get an ad that i can't skip for like 15 seconds and then every time I win or close a match there is a pop up telling me to earn mroe coins or rate this app or use hints. It's more annoying that the funness of the game.

Enjoyable. I play this game with my kids and it is definitely a family game so we help each other out when we don't know the words. Fun all around I even have my husband playing it too!!!!

New game. So far so good however I just started so not sure how I'll feel down the road. What I've played has what humans need now a days like spelling, thinking, reading and smiling because you use your brain.

Beginning levels super easy. I like this game and wish there were more like it for people like me that want fun down time games that don't create undo stress!! It moves along quickly. I dislike crossword or chess game-like puzzles that tend to bog you down like SpellMania and Word Brain in the higher levels. Let's hope it continues. I gave it 4 stars because of uncertainty of higher levels.

Not worth my time. I love word games but this one is definitely slanted to the developer's point of view. There are many words that can be made but unless your words conform to the preselected words that are programmed it gets a bit frustrating. The beginning levels are pretty easy, but as you go up in levels and there are more choices for words to be made and perfectly acceptable words are not allowed to be answers. Deleting game.

DO NOT UPDATE! Word Crimes. Been playing this game for a long time and enjoyed it. This is a good app and a good word game and it doesn't go crazy with ads. Sadly, they've ruined it with the latest update. They tell you that this update increases coin rewards, which is a lie. Instead, they've increased the cost of 1 hint from 19 coins to 95 coins -- that's right, NINETY-FIVE COINS, 5 times the previous amount. Rewards for watching a video are reduced too. A really nice game ruined by the greed of its authors. So sad.

Another game. I play another words game called word connect but I don't like it because you make a word but they don't use it to fill a slot they keep it and hind it and you can't see it so you have to keep coming up with more words. So unfair I deleted it I like this game so far let's see if I keep it after I play for awhile

Fun but a bit frustrating. I really like this word game, but I get a little frustrated when I can't figure out the words… Some of the words are very obscure but overall they are common words mostly… I like the game, but it would be better if you could earn more coins easily because I can't afford to pay for them.

Don't be cheap. This game is fun and is very addictive. All games come with ads how do you think the developers get paid for what they do? If you do not want the ads popping up, you can pay the 99 cents to get rid of them

STRANGER DANGER!!!. On level 218, I am used to the ads that pop up every 4 to 5 levels. However, as I closed this last ad the screen went purple (more on that in a moment) and proceeded to open my iOS mail app. ?!?!?!!!!! Explain. Why is Word Blobs or it's advertisers opening my mail app? I'm not getting into your van no matter how much candy you may have. The momentary purple splash screen that happens when opening the game is what I am referring to. Since about level 170, maybe every third ad, when I close the ad, the purple splash screen for the game will freeze and lock the game app. I have to double tap Home, swipe Word Blobs out of the back ground and then reopen the game app. As well, what is the point of having an off setting for the game if it is just going to play sounds every 10 - 15 ads. I am not writing the review for coins. I have no idea and don't care what the coins do anyway.

READ THIS. UGH! This app is REALLY bad. That’s right, in capitals! First off, I spun the wheel. I was supposed to get 75 coins, but instead, nope, this app give me 50! Then it’s REALLY glitchy. And with TOO many adds. I highly recommend people to get it- only if they love glitches and ads and wrong prizes, and things like that. What’s going on ?. I play this game every day but the last while it is not giving bonuses or points if you find a word that is not part of the puzzle. If you all are that cheap I have no more need for this game I will delete it.

Excellent Brain Exercise!!. I love the way the game makes you think about which words need to be formed. It is challenging and stretches you to fine the solution. Better than scrabble and words with friends!!

Great game!. Makes you stop and think. Bet you'll wish we had this in school. Teachers wouldn't have had nearly as much problems getting us to study spelling.

Penny. This game is a lot of fun and easy to play. It makes you think, so it's a good "easy" brain exercise. I might have been able to give it 5 stars, but it's too early to know. I can't afford in-app purchases, so if I can't continue to play for free, I'll delete the app.

Worth your time. This is a very fun word puzzle game with gorgeous graphics and an easy interface. If words are your thing than this is a game for you. What are you waiting for it's free.

Started out fun, but .... At the higher levels, things start repeating. I only downloaded this game because WordWhizzle wouldn't let me play the new levels until I did. It's taking forever to finish WordBlobs, but I expect to be able to play the new levels of WordWhizzle afterwards.

Fun!. I play a lot of games and most of them rely on being in a clan or a coven or a group. It’s nice to find a simple, fun game where I can just pass time and decompress without having to follow a chat stream or plot.

Fun to play. This is an interesting game to keep me engaged, and makes me think quite a bit. While the lower levels are easy, it gets increasingly more challenging.

Cute, but not accurate. This is more of a guessing game than a word game. I experienced several levels in which it did not accept real words such as "spa" or "mane". This could be detrimental to younger players just learning to expand their vocabulary. If they're spelling words correctly and the game doesn't take it, they may think they're actually wrong.

Very Enjoyable. I like apps that make you think but in a fun way. I just started playing but am enjoying this immensely. The graphics are colorful. The game seems to be well thought out.

Awesome!. I have been playing with this app to see if it will help my daughter. So far I love it. She has been struggling with reading and pairing up basic words. This app looks like it will really help her and encourage her to keep trying.

Fun and educational game to pass time. This is a brain game as it helps you to think and learn. It is fun, interesting and easy to play. It also helps to pass time during the day.

Liked it at first. I'm a word person, but I found a number of things about this game very frustrating. It doesn't accept many legitimate words that can be formed from the letters, but it does accept abbreviations and slang that I would not consider real words. Example: from the letters rpoe, it accepts repo, but not pore. After many such annoyances, I've deleted the game.

Wow!. This app is awesome! I think it's really cool that if the word isn't on the list then it goes in the potion bottle and when the bottle is full, you get coins! Love that! I rate this app 5/5 because it is soooo fun and addicting to play! I totally recommend this app! :)

FunFunFun. I love this game, it's easy and simple and makes you think! So far so good no problems. I enjoy playing while sitting in waiting rooms, it's keeps my brain engaged and is very addicting to say the least.

Hard to give a great review without further play. I just started this game, and don't really know where it will go, difficulty wise. It would be fun to play with grand kids or young kids if it my experience continues to be the same.

Fun and challenging. No glitches, game is fun and gets harder to solve as you move up the ladder. Coins fly away fast and too many ads so wait for a cheap deal to get rid of them. Some words are weird and unusual...

Keeps me Sharp. I like playing this game because sometimes I'm seeing words that I've never seen before you have to look them up and it keeps my mind sharp

Great game. I love the game but I DON’T like that you keep changing the “cost” of a hint and now you’ve also changed the way to get free hints and we don’t even get a full hint per video watched. Some of us can’t afford to spend $25 on a game

Good game!. It's challenging in a good way! You can earn extra coins easily. However on some levels, the answers required aren't really words so use your imagination.

Kind of early to tell. I played the first round with three and two letter words... so I really don't know yet. I have noticed that there are words that I can spell and it doesn't recognize them to be at words. Weird. It wants specific words that it wants. Seems OK, as it gets more challenging I guess I'll know if it's great or not.

Just like old times. My teacher use to write a word on the board and we would have to make as many words out of it as possible. Love this!

Ad Banner preventing access to all features. Game said after buying a pack of coins all ads will go away....well I have an ad sitting in bottom of game that is in the way of Shuffle, hint and another I can't see. Game would be fun if ads were taken away as promised. Will be calling iTunes for refund.

Favorite Word Game. I’ve tried several of these word building type apps and this is by far the best! Easy to learn and play. If you like these types of puzzles, I highly recommend this!

WordBlobs. This game is pretty fun to find out new words that you never heard of and great to play with all your friends. I recommend this to little kids who struggle so they can use this game to learn words more clearly now. (:

Love This Game!. I really enjoy playing this game and moving up the levels. Great practice for your mind. Great graphics and can at times be challenging. You should try it. I think you’ll like it!

Enjoyable and keeps my mind active. Can't wait to play this with my kids as we wait places. We play hangman on the phone and we have a mad line book. This should be fun to add!

A quick blast of a game!. For a quick game. Needing a change of pace! This is the game for you. It keeps your mind active and fun to play too! Hope you enjoy it as much as I am!

Terrible pauses!. I like to play the daily challenges. Recently they’ve b come almost unplayable because of a long period where the game freezes. This usually happens right after the spin for a gift. Sometimes it doesn’t freeze until The puzzle loads. Eventually the game starts up again. But the wait is extremely aggravating.

Advert Sounds Bypass Settings. Love the game, but can’t be sure I can play whenever and wherever I want, because even though my iPad is set to mute, and the game settings for sounds are off, some of the ads bypass those preferences and play at full volume. Fix this, and there will be more stars.

Fun Game. I just started playing this game and so far it is lots of fun with no issues that a lot of games have that make them annoying to play.

More words available. I am only a few levels into the game and what I have found thus far is that it is fun but there are words available to spell with the letters provided that are not correct answers.

Great word game. This is addicting and frustrating! How many words can you get: many! It keeps you playing to se just how many words you can get with each set of letters.

Love the game but...... Love the game, is a lot of fun but way to many pop ups. After a couple of levels, they could/should ease off some. As for the ads, that's a free choice, pay or don't, ads or no ads

Best word game ever..... I absolutely love this game. The format is great. After I found this game, it has become my favorite as you can tell by the length of time I spend playing it. If you love word games, this one is for you. It’s FREE too.

Best word game. This is one of the best word games I have ever played... my only complaint is it takes a long while to get to some of the more challenging puzzles. Other than that 10/10

Love it and so much fun. This app is so much fun with a similar feel to Halloween year round, and I like it better personally than word cookies, while that app is still excellent and fun but this one is more my style since I love Halloween 👻
