Best reminder app I’ve ever used and seen. The user interface is absolutely beautiful. It looks like it was designed by Apple themselves. The abundance of features that come with the app without any micro transactions is amazing. I can’t wait to see all the new features coming soon. Wonderful job and I hope this app gets more recognition.

Rapidly improving. My initial problems moving notes and editing notes have already been resolved with the latest update. It would be nice if there was some indication that a reminder has a note. Otherwise this suits my needs for now. Thank you!

I never used Reminders.... ...Until now! Memento is an intuitive and polished app that makes using reminders actually interesting. As a visual person, the card layout is most effective for me. Also, the app has great, responsive support which is always a huge plus!

Amazing reminder app. I believe this app is a must have for those who need an reminder app to quickly add new reminders as well as take a quick glance at everything they have planned for the day. Very fluid and smooth app. A couple things that I believe would take the app over the top would be a drag option from the main screen to be able to quickly add a new reminder to which ever list instead of having to press the + sign in the top left hand corner. That would make it quicker to add new reminders. I would also include natural language support to make adding a task or time of the task more fluid. Outside of that I believe this app is a must have if you own an iPhone.

The best simple Reminders app. Simple, clean and beautiful. I use reminders a lot but they're for very basic text based things. Most of those ones I've tried have either too much going on with their UI or they have way too many options that I don't need. I didn't know how useful creating lists could be until this app, mainly because of how it's implemented across the app, it's genius. The native reminders app is not bad, but Memento simply has a way better UI and is way more useful. I specifically love the For You tab, it's so nice being able to see all my reminders chronologically. If you're looking for a simple yet useful reminders app, this is what you want.

The stylish partner to Apple’s own Reminders app. With the overhaul to Reminders in iOS 13 I went back to using Reminders, which meant I also checked out Memento again. I love all the little features in this app, plus it’s gorgeous. The overall layout is stunning, and I’m one of those people who likes my apps to look appealing. I also like the ways in which you can customize options for Alerts and Notifications, and that these settings quickly sync across devices. My one concern is getting reminders with a due date, but no specified time, to show up in the For You tab. I have a lot of reminders for household and teaching tasks that are due on a day, but don’t need a time. I hope the next version addresses this issue. I know that Good Task and Fantastical have worked around the issue by simply having those reminders show up as having a 12AM time, but I fortunately don’t get an alert at 12AM!! Thank you for some beautiful and powerful software. It’s like getting the power and style of Things but built onto the built Reminders framework!

Beautiful App, A Better Experience Than Stock Reminders. A beautiful application, embarrasses iOS 12’s new design language well. One of the few apps that does a dark mode well. In case other are wondering, this does use Apple’s Reminders. So reminders in this app will show up in the stock Reminders apps for macOS and iOS. One thing I’d like to see changed, either the app should default to open on the Reminders View, or there should be an option in settings to set it to open there. Currently it open into the Lists View, which seems unintuitive when trying to quickly create a new reminder. Overall though, a great improvement over the default Reminders app.

Doesn’t fix Apples reminder app. I purchased this because I was looking for a replacement for Apples reminders app which Apple managed to break some time ago. This doesn’t fix the problems since it uses the same information as the remiders app. I don’t understand why Apple hasn’t been inclined to fix this since the reminders app, the hardware I run it on and the cloud the data resides on is all theirs. This app just makes a slightly more usable interface to that system. The updating is still so slow that you don’t know if it recognized your touch and it changes the day right under your finger tip as you are trying to get it to respond. I was using these apps to mark off that I have taken my medications, so that I don’t miss any of them. I will continue to look for a replacement for reminders, this wasn’t it. The problem is Apples, not this app.

Adding some features.. Loving how beautifully designed this app is and how it makes me excited to look at my reminders! Would love to see the ability to add/substract days/hours/mins more seamlessly than creating presets. I've used Due for ages and while I like the look and feel of Memento more, I miss being able to add days/hrs/mins to my reminders quickly. When I set a present to +1 hour, the app adds one full hour but does not allow adding more than that by clicking the preset. To make a time edit that does not have a preset, you have to open the time/date wheel, which is cumbersome. Also, would like to see gestures implemented (e.g. create a new reminder by pulling down on the screen vs. having to reach up to the + button). I'd love to be able to fully switch over to Memento but these are the small (very convenient) things I like about an app like Due. Appreciate you, keep up the great work!

Location alerts and general bugginess. The app is fine, but I was expecting some sort of calendar view. Of course, that isn’t really factoring into my review, just that I didn’t know what I was getting into just from the store page. Regardless, I’ve been having strange issues with the app simply not saving my location alerts. I initially thought I was doing it wrong, but I realized that it would save location alerts for the tasks before forgetting that I had done so as soon as I exited the list. The other strange thing is that I keep trying to delete a certain list, but it’s persistently coming back into existence not long after I thought I had deleted it. I’ve tried in-app, out-of-app in Reminders, and it just doesn’t want to go away. I circumvented the issue by just renaming the list to whatever suited my needs at the time, but it’s regardless rather disheartening that I would be beset with so many damned complications even after I bought the app. Other than that, it’s very intuitive and easy to move the tasks around. It would be rather nice to be able to schedule dark mode, but that’s just my two cents.

Amazing. The app is so beautiful and intuitive. It made made me start creating reminders again instead of just creating events in my calendar (which I found easier do to Fantastical 2). But now this app is among the top apps I use. I hope they create a Note taking app too. Plus the native integration to the iOS notes app makes it even better.

Growing More Useful. I first began to use this app as I wanted a more visually updated replacement to Apple’s stagnant Reminders. That’s been there since the first version. But what has kept this app on my home screen has been the constant and useful updates to the functionality of the app from the developer, particularly the new For You section in a recent update. While there are still small areas where growth might be needed I’d recommend the current version of this app to anyone looking for an alternative to Apple’s native Reminders.

Simple and Highly Efficient. The app is very simple to use, has no annoying ads, is not sold as a subscription and has all the features you will ever need in a todo app, namely time-based and location-based reminders, as well as an option to create different lists to group items together

The Reminders app Apple should have built. Reminder is amazing. This is what Apple should have built. Feels native to iOS, doesn’t have a stupid card paradigm, and has multiple methods to view your reminders. If you’re like me and have multiple lists, switching tabs at the bottom makes seeing everything due vs list by list vs all together an absolute breeze. It’s also crazy fast due to the presets - this is exactly how I always envisioned a reminders app. Thank you!

Much better than iOS Reminders. I like that Memento uses the same database that iOS’s Reminders does, so there’s no siloing - if I decide later that I want to access reminders through iOS’ Reminders, I just go there. I like the UI much better than the native app too - much more modern. Nice. One feature that would be a big improvement on both the current UI and Reminders’ UI is in setting geofencing locations. Sometimes my phone gets a little confused on exactly where I am, rendering “remind me when I leave here” unusable. But the text address option is a lot of work - I often know where I’m going, but I have no idea what the address is. Having a way to just drag the map under the blue dot (or drag the blue dot on the map) and just put it where I know I mean would be MUCH more intuitive. Overall, a very nice app. Well done.

Great except for bugs. I really enjoy this app and how it syncs reminders from the ios reminders app! However upon first downloading it, I sat down for about a half hour syncing reminders, making new lists, and setting up all my timed tasks into the app, but it crashed and didn't save anything! 😞 I hope starting over from scratch is not something I have to do often.

Rip off!!! DO NOT BUY. This app seemed great until all of my reminders were GONE! I loved the option for multiple lists, different colors, times, etc. I put all the things I had to do in what I named “To-Do”, and moved on with my day. I went back to the app not 2 hours later to find all that I had done gone. Erased! I thought this was only a glitch, so I put it all back in, and even left the app and came back to check, and surely, it was there. Then later that day, I look and see that yet again, it was all erased. Apparently this app doesn’t keep your reminders! Not what I had in mind when I paid $1.99. I don’t think I even cleared the app (like on iPhone). Rip-off. I would give zero stars if I could!

Thanks! Love it. Great design and works as it should! Dev was super friendly on Twitter. I used it on TestFlight for months and finally got around to showing some support. I’ve tried lots of the free reminder type apps. This is by far my favorite! You won’t be disappointed. =]

Almost perfect. Love this app. Only thing holding it back is the lack of a way to add a reminder from the For You page. This is my main view and there’s no reason to have to flip between screens in order to add a new task. Please add this feature. It seems fairly easy.

Pretty, but for me it lacks ability in adding context. Works great for simple task titles and todos. However, many of my todo’s have notes attached. I’d like to be able to see all of a note, rather than the first, teeny-tiny bit of the first sentence in the note. Good work so far people. I’ll be back to check in at some point.

Pretty good. I do enjoy this app, it’s not MUCH different than the native app but it’s aesthetically pleasing, as well as having dark modes and whatnot, I do have a suggestion however, allowing to customize the arrangement of the icons access the bottom would be really helpful, as well as integrating that so when you open the app, it opens on the tab on the bottom left, so that I can set it up to automatically open to the for you tab. Thank you developers it’s a great app!

Won't install on watch!!!. If gladly give this 5 Stars but I only paid for this app to use on my watch, and that's the only thing wrong with it. I've tried EVERYTHING to get this app to list for install. Everything from erasing my watch to deleting and reinstalling the watch app itself. My watch and phone both are fully updated and have plenty of space. PLEASE fix this so I can give it 5 Stars....

It’s worth the $1.99. The Good: - design and fluidity - no complicated actions - syncs with native Apple Reminders - Handoff Wishlist: - tap to expand (to see notes) - more tones - streaks for completed lists The Review: I bought this so I could more easily remember all the things I have to do (I have a bad memory) and it’s much easier to navigate than the native Reminders app that Apple puts on our phones. The overall design and fluidity of the app is simplistic and minimal. There are no complicated actions to sort through so you can get a notification when you arrive at home or at 5:45pm. I also like how it syncs to the native Apple Reminders app. If either of those apps somehow disappear off my phone I have a backup. And the Handoff feature is also useful, so I can write a reminder on my iPhone and check it complete on my iPad. It’s a good app. It’s worth the money.

Gonna have to put this one in the revisit bin for the meantime. This is by far the most polished, well done, beautiful UI IOS reminders app. It’s almost effortless with one big problem (only applies to ONE scenario) I am not sure if it’s a bug or software limitation but shared reminders do not work. I have a work list reminders shared with my boss and I get every single reminder on my days off even though my boss completes them on the Native reminders app. I’ve grown tired of receiving reminders on my days off when I really shouldn’t because I guess the App doesn’t deal with shared reminders. Case in point, if you share any list with a boss or a significant other like a shop list, them completing the task will not remove it from your reminders. You will still be reminded and have to mark it completed yet again. This is a five star app and I will update once this has been fixed

Works best for organizing your reminders. Unfortunately hamstrung by ReminderKit limitations. I love how reminders are set as icons. It makes it really easy to organize them. But it’s too limited by the api to be as useful as I want it to. The app lacks the ability to view URL’s, tags, and smart lists.

Perfect-o. I like this app. It’s perfect for quick, one-off reminders and to dos, stuff that you don’t want to clutter up OmniFocus or Things with. The input is fast, it’s a heck of a lot more functional and better looking than Apple’s Reminders. No need for over complication of #hashtags. Create a list (it’s like a #hashtag anyway), put reminders in it, and off you go.

The way Reminders app should be. Apple’s Reminders app functions well but lacks refined UI. This app is worth the money just for it’s looks to replace the Reminders app. The developer is super quick to update and add features as well as respond to his customers. Keep up the great work and improvements. Edit: This app just keeps getting better.

Great app. This is the really great app in the matters of the design and functionality. I have one wish which makes possible to assign the location reminder to all reminders which are placed at the specific reminder list automatically. For example reminder which are created in the “Work” list be assigned location trigger automatically.

What the native reminders app should have been. Great little app, it’s quickly become my work horse to do list app. Gorgeous interface with great notification integration. 100% what the native reminders app should have been like. Excited to see what other functionality comes especially in the OSX app.

Very useful app. I’ve been using Memento for a few years and it’s my most recommended app to people. It’s on my home screen and I check it everyday. The most useful feature is receiving a reminder that I set months and even years in advance. The App Developer is also very responsive to suggestions. Thank you!

Widget feature is obsolete. This app in general is great and easy to use. It’s more interesting than the original reminder app on iOS. However, the only thing that I expect the most and also quite important to me is the widget, and it doesn’t work at all. I cannot get it to appear in the widget page. Please fix this so I could give this app a five stars.

Good start but needs more. Nice interface and looks useful. Better than the default iOS Reminders apps. But, one of the features of the default app that I use the most is to remind me of something when I get in or out of the car (Bluetooth connection to car). If you could add that feature, it would be a complete replacement of the default app for me. Thanks and keep up the great work.

Everyone Read This!. Ok, long story short: I had an issue with the apps location reminders now working, they weren't going off. I emailed Mark and he replied back within the hour! Amazing. So he emailed me back saying "we're gonna fix this" So he asked me for some info and asked me to check some things. Nothing worked!! Then we hit an AHA! Moment! He asked me to check my location settings, I had a specific setting turned off! This is the best app now and it works so awesome and is so clean and simple! He has the best customer service he doesn't just make apps he helps you out. Thank you, Mark.

App is getting better now! 1 MORE THING. Can you please give an option to have a sort option? While the blocks look neat, having a list view would also be nice. Also, is it possible for notifications to stay of lockscreen like apple’s reminders does?

Just what iPhone tasks needed.. The main beauty here is in two areas . One is app design and the other is the compatibility and reliability from the native Reminders app data it uses. Think of it as a superior interface with dark mode optional. Without a doubt one of the best app purchases I’ve made in a while.

4 to 5 stars. Please turn off autocorrect. I don’t write full sentences for reminders and abbreviate or shorthand memos. I am constantly fighting autocorrect. This would move you from a 4 to a 5 in my book. Also, but not critical, offer ability to move memos from one list to another. Thanks!

More Apple-y than Apple is. Truly a baseline for how apps based on the Apple style guidelines should be. Lovely to look at and lovely to use. Much easier to setup, manage, and edit reminders than the actual reminders app. I was hesitant to spend this much on a reminders app on a whim, but I’m so glad I did. I would love an option to have a list view (the current layout is wonderful though) and an Apple Watch complication. A simple app that simply does what it does, perfectly.

Better than the built-in Reminders app. I really like how simple and clean the interface is but it would be nice to have a status update. What I mean is if you could mark tasks as started, in progress, etc that would be helpful. Also if you could add levels of priority to tasks that’d be nice

Frustrating. I am frustrated by the alarms in this app. I had a task set for today at about noon. I decided to change it to tomorrow. I opened the task and changed the alarm from noon today to tomorrow morning. So far, so good. Now I look at the task in the “lists” view and it still shows the alarm as today at noon, while the “for you” list shows it as tomorrow morning. I had to restart the app to get the times to update. Things like that drive me crazy. I can never be sure when or if I will get reminded, which is the entire point of the app!

Made me love reminders again!!. I was never a fan of reminders in the past. The app looked bad it was cumbersome to navigate and just didn’t like it. Then I saw this app and I wanted to try it out. It’s so clean and looks good. I can appreciate the dark mode and the alternative icon color!! The list mode is great and overall the app works very well. I use it as simple reminders to do things and as sort of pick up list using the location based alert. For instance if I need to pick up aspirin the app will remind me when I am near a pharmacy. It’s so easy to set up too I love it. The only thing that this app needs is an Apple Watch and Mac version, but otherwise it has earned a spot on my phone.

Needs work on organizing features. The only advantage over Reminders (IOS 12) seems to be the ability to add category lists. My major gripe is that the Todo items should be sorted by date! I have a reoccurring reminder at the top right now for Feb 21 followed by a bunch of non-date-specific reminders and then something due for Feb 18th at the bottom. This sorting problem is also on the Apple Watch. I would expect to see earliest date reminders first (maybe even a smart feature which is if the date falls within the next 7 days, sort it to the top). It's less useful to have to scroll down to the bottom to see a tall that is quickly coming up.

A great app a couple years ago. This would have been useful two years ago. Today it’s a slightly less functional rehash of the built in app. Yes, it uses the same reminders database...but doesn’t support all the features (like nesting). I thought “Maybe I can drag items to different due dates to change when they are due”. Nope. Same klunky time/date interface from built in reminders. Accidentally marked an item complete? There is no delay for you to change tour mind. Proceed with showing completed items and unmarking your task.

Perfect app, just minor adjustments could be made. When I click on a list, and I want to go back to the main list of all my lists, I have to press the “< Lists” at the top right. I should also be able to do this by just pressing the square that is labeled “Lists” at the bottom left. Would be very convenient. And dragging and reorganizing items in a list can be a little more fluid

Amazing app!!! Just needs a few more adjustments. I had recently purchased this app and it is WONDERFUL. I'm a college student and it really helps me with remembering to do assignments. I also am in love with the minimalistic design. However, please please please add a feature where there is a start and end time. It would be extremely helpful. Also, it would be great if we could sort out tasks within a certain list (ex. A-X, by date, etc). And lastly, reminders! Reminders where it could remind us a week before or perhaps a certain amount of hours before the actual due date would make this app perfect. I hope to see possible updates with this app because I believe it can go very far.

The app is ok. Was hoping Memento would sync with caldav via the calendar app, but essentially it just sits on top of the reminders app; eg. enter a reminder in either reminders or memento and it will show up in the opposite app as well. Therefore with issues of Apple's reminders app not synchronizing with caldav is carried over to this one. I will say it has a better UI than reminders, but since the sync issue affects this app too, then it's still not going to work for me.

Stopped working. Can no longer drag reminders between days without it bugging out. I remember when I first downloaded it it was for this purpose so I can easily take a reminder that wasn’t completed one day and move it to tomorrow. Please fix this Yes it is for the for you view. It goes directly into the force touch menu. Idk if this was an added feature or just recently the sensitivity was changed. But I’d rather drag my reminders around than any of the force touch menu options.

Great! But there is one thing.... This app is great! The UI is so nice and simple. The reminders are super convenient. Now that I can use Siri everything is easier. There is one problem. When I use a Siri shortcut the app opens but then it just crashes. And one thing that I think should be added is the ability to have a reminder remind you on just weekdays.

Okay. With the update to reminders, I can no longer sync between devices because my mac doesn't have Catalina. This is an ok replacement but I wish you could do custom reminders, eg every third day at 9 pm. I do so appreciate the developers fast response to my comment, thanks!

I wanted to like it!. The app is really nice and polished, but I have serious concerns about the privacy policy as it is presented on their website. I should have read it before purchasing. I did not realize the amount of personal data the app is reading, processing and allowing the developer and third party to read. Unfortunately I found it not appropriate for the current times. Great idea, bad privacy. I decided to delete it again as that was the only way of opting out. Sad to see it go.

The *real* Reminders app. This app looks and feels more like an Apple app than Reminders does; Mark really knocked this one out of the park. I never used Reminders before, mostly because the UX just isn't to my liking, but Memento has changed that. And even more importantly, it has helped my partner and I stay on the same page with our grocery lists and to-dos. On top of that, the dev was extremely helpful in troubleshooting a problem I had that turned out wasn't even an issue with the app itself. This app is worth every penny, if not more, and I'm super happy to see that it's been a success 👏🏻

It’s got a couple of small things missing. Very good app, but missing a couple of things that would make it a replacement for Apple Reminders. - Flags - Priority levels And two things it does have that get a little annoying: - The default launch screen should be ‘For You’, or at least user-set. It’s the List page right now, and that isn’t useful - Setting a date/location reminder to an entire list is great, but... when it fires you get a notification for every reminder inside the list. If you’ve got many reminders in a list, it creates a mess. A single reminder per item, including a single list, would be best

An excellent reminders app. I've been using Memento on a daily basis for a long while now. Easily one of my most used apps. It is refined and polished, and mighty capable. A truly delightful complementary app to Apple Reminders. You will not be disappointed, I can say that much.

Great app! However.... ...would be great to have the ability to set which screen will be there on app launch. For instance, I want it to always open up to the Reminders view instead of the List view. Otherwise awesome app. 😊

Freezing and crashing from the beginning on both iPad and iPhone. A total and utter waste of money in my case. It seemed promising due to the other reviews but I can’t comment on it’s usefulness as it hasn’t worked at all on my iPhone 7 and iPad Pro.

Very useful. Excellent and easy to use. The addition of being able to password protect would be appreciated.

How have I not found this app before?. Have been waiting for a reminders app that isn’t terrible (like Apple’s) but still uses Apple Reminders data. This is app amazing and immediately replaced the built in app. It’s well organised, looks great, and is easy to use. Thank you to the dev! 🙌

Such a gorgeous app. It’s stunning and I wish I could use it. Critical missing components for me unfortunately - ability to search (and preferably save the searches), and it’s permanent warnings about being associated with an exchange account (I like being on an exchange account!) Lovely look and layout to this app though, would be a pleasure to use.

Modern, light, but some finesse needed. Overall feels pretty fresh, particularly when editing geofences for reminders. I have a few minor hang ups that may not reflect broader user base. For whatever reason I can’t quite warm to the super rounded cells in close proximity, like when the list view is applied. I wonder if making everything look like a contained button is the right approach, such as the show and hide button. With the grid view, the information is too densely packed when I want to be able to scan things fairly efficiently. Perhaps a 2-across could be better with a slightly increased text size and grey text contrast boost. On the opposite end, the watch app cells are a little spaced out, and I think reminders does a better job there. For example when I’m at the supermarket I want to scan through the list of at least a few items rather than scroll the crown continually. Hope the feedback is useful, it’s a terrific app overall and look forward to future development.

Good but Room to Improve. I do like the App and will continue with it. There are a couple of areas where I feel improvement would be beneficial though. Firstly in reminders u can, in ‘edit mode’, reorder the list however with this app I cannot see how that can be done so therefore the list can be all over the place and not sequential. Secondly when creating a new reminder it would be great if the reminder box/rectangle space could be larger for typing the entry in edit mode. Thanks, John

Not clear how this is superior to Reminders. I fell for the reviews that said this app has all the great stuff of Reminders, but is more elegant and "modern". It appears to be neither, and also omits several Reminders features that I rely on. The look is only slightly different from the native Reminders app (main difference being "tiled" items here). Nothing UI-wise that has made the experience superior to using Reminders. For whatever the purported "simplicty" is, one gives up features of Reminders that are vital to me. Most importantly, DUE DATES!!! None of the dozens of due dates I have set up in Reminders are acknowledged by this app. That's a showstopper for me. By extension, also no recurring due dates, etc. If you like associating a URL or photo with your Reminders, that's also not here. A great recent addition to Reminders is sub-lists. Ignored by this app. Kudos for launching with an all-platforms app, but this is far from feature-equivalent to Reminders. Which itself is a fairly lean task-management app that I came to appreciate the simplicity of vs. OmniFocus.

Nice App. It’s a nice approach to a Reminders App but to basic... Even the Beta version did not offer any additional functionality. Needs more elements to make it something worthwhile using.

Alarme imessage. J’ai acheté cette appli pour pouvoir envoyer des rappels sur imessage comme indiqué. Une fois à l’essai, je réalise que mes contacts ne peuvent pas y avoir accès sans payer et avoir l’application ?? Achat mal investi honnêtement.

Doesn’t work. I can’t use it. It doesn’t feel the tactil touch, so totally useless for now. (Sorry for my english)

Excellent UI. This app has a really nice user interface. It is easy to use and it naturally syncs with your iCloud reminders. I just wish it would be possible to drag and drop a reminder from one list to another.

Notifications aren’t coming through. I love this app but recently most of my reminders aren’t notifying me at all. It’s not until I open the app that I see the expired reminder. Restarting my phone temporarily fixes it but eventually the notifications stop again.

Not at all an alternative to Remonders. Deadlines do not sync with Reminders; tedious and complicated to add new reminders, very disappointign given recommendations I've read. Have requested a refund from the AppStore.

Fantastic Work. I’ve been looking for an app like this for so long. Pros: - Reasonably priced - Intuitive design - Excellent UX - Constant support + enhancements - Proximity reminders (amazing!!!!) What’s your next project!?

Unresponsive. This app crashed. No response to edit, add, delete functions. This app is just a glorified reminder app from Apple.

Good app but needs a Mac app. Good app for memos. The géo-location and it’s tie in to reminders app is very good. Which there was a Mac app though so I don’t have to take my phone out each time I want to enter a memo.

Great App. Great App, like the features..one thing I cannot get my badge notification to work....please fix

Help! Customer service member please respond!. I paid for this app and still when I try to set a reminder for when I arrive or leave location I get this error “proximity based alarms are not supported by this account” HELP! I would have contacted support but the only way to contact is by Twitter and I don’t use it. Would love someone from the app to message me and let me know how I fix this error message and use the location arrival/leaving reminders. (It’s the ONLY reason I paid for this app!!)

Love the layout of the reminders. The layout on my reminder looks like an individual card. It has a dark mode. Hope the developer is working on Apple Watch app.

Beautiful Design - GET IT. I love the design and functionality of this app. Well worth the money! I love how it syncs well with my other devices and the way it works with Siri.

No repeats shorter than ‘daily’. It would be useful to have repeats hourly but the smallest repeat unit is daily.

Looks great, missing Apple Watch. Would really love if there was an Apple Watch complication for this. Also wish there was a way to set multiple reminders Otherwise great looking and easy to use app.

Couple of updates. Drag reminders from one list to another, 3D Touch to expand card and have edit options and rearranging reminders within the dame list by dragging them arround

Why are my “Today Reminders” showing you at the very bottom on the page. Great app, but all of a sudden my “Today Reminders” on the “For you Page” are showing you at the very bottom on the page so I have to scroll past ALL my other reminders to see them

Super easy to use. Everything is super easy to use. Only suggestion would be to have a view of all reminders sorted by their reminder date/time similar to the stock Reminder’s app Scheduled view. That would allow me to see which reminders are coming up.

Terrible app. Deleted it right after it downloaded. Not useful at all. Don’t waste your money.

Great app, simple to use and frequent updates. I love the reminders app! It’s easy to use and allows you to toggle between different formats based on how you like to organize your lists. The best part is that the app gets updated frequently with new features!

Beautiful but.... Much nicer looking than the default. But doesn’t continue to send daily reminders if you fail to complete them once. This is bad news for using this for habits.

Layout and dark mode 👌. Love the layout and dark mode on my IPhone X. It’s easy to quickly scan and organize my reminders. Very helpful in staying on top of things. Apple Watch notification is great. Looking forward to more features.

Much Improved UI for iOS Reminders. Makes me actually enjoy checking and organizing my reminders, and love that Siri and location alerts and so on still work and it syncs to the stock Mac Reminders app!

Puts Apples Todo list to shame. Almost makes me angry how much better designed this is than the stock Apple Todo list app is. It's clean, easy to use, simple clean interface - this is a fantastic app

This app is.... Slick and stylish! I love it. Fantastic app and beautiful layout and the widgets are probably the best I’ve seen so far.

Doesn’t work. I wanted to like this app but my time alert and note never got saved.

Not great -. The UI is fine but iOS reminders is better in several ways. Ability to create a reminder from a web page with link. Can’t view details within a reminder. No enter key if you want to space out notes. Very small notation area. Reminders is also free. I would like a refund.

Review for Mac OS: Unusable. This is a fantastic app on iOS; I like the way it arranges my recurring reminders. But, on Mac OS it gives an error message and won't pull in my reminders at all. On GitHub the developer said they were investigating the issue back in June, but it's January and there still hasn't been an update on a fix. Save your time until you see an update that's newer than January 2023.

Layout is great, but.. It would be nice to have the reminders in order by date? I have many yearly reminders and this mixes then in with ones that are due tomorrow. Am I missing something?

Great app!. “Better than the standard reminders app. If you like being reminded in a great way— this app is for you!” -Teflon Tom

App doesn’t work. Paid $1.99 for a crap app. It only allowed me to make two only two reminders and I needed to make four. So I guess you get what you pay for. Will have to delete to actually find a reminder app that works.

Nice overlay. Simplifies the native reminder app. Works great. App developer is very responsive to inquiries.

The best try it. CNt lose with this app

Stands above the rest. Great take on reminders. Highly recommend.

Stock App 2.0. This app nails the stock app feel. It should be what every apple-guideline-styled app strives for.

Latest version crashes -. Launches and immediately crashes. Deleted app. Again downloaded - now seems ok. On a side note, is there a way to sort reminders alphabetically?

Horrible app. 1 - Dark mode glitchy visuals. 2 - Holding 3D touch glitches. 3 - App crashes 5 minutes from installation.

Very primitive. There are many apps available that do a much better job of this for no charge. This is missing many features and does not stand alone. You must use Reminders.

This is a Great App!!!. Amazing application. Beautiful themes, very clean and well coded, fast loading, beautiful font typography, good design

Gorgeous, broken app.. This app if gorgeous and the UX was well thought out. The only fault is that it doesn’t work at all. Just crashes.

Almost Perfect. I do love the simplicity and dark mode. However it would be nice to have a START AND END TIME for each tasks or reminders. Also, a calendar view to see a bigger picture of all the tasks and reminders would be great. It’ll show the overlapping tasks because some people can do two or three things at the same time. Otherwise this app is my number one task organizer.

Get this app! It keeps on getting better. My go-to reminders app. The dark theme on my X is excellent and now with the updated layout, it just kills. The developer is awesome - listens and assists when needed.

Notifications. I’ve turned off every possible way for Memento to send me alerts and reminders. But I have a constant alert on my home screen from this app. I don’t know what else I can do ???

Might need a force quit on first launch. If you don’t see your reminders from the built in reminders app, you’ll need to force quit Reminder and re open.

My new reminders. I just wish the basic reminders that comes with apple was like this one. I am able to keep on top of my job tasks and keep me on track during my shift.

Favorite Task Manager. One the best task managers on iOS! Feature request; please build in an option to export all completed tasks to csv or doc or pdf.

Same old with DarkMode. What’s the difference between Apple reminder and this one? NONE I confess I got very excited about the app after reading some articles and its layout, but after downloading it, I compared both and nothing is worthy the 2.99. The app does and offer the same service as the Apple reminder. Ok ok, The only single difference between them is that one has dark mode and the other if for free.

Love this app. The notifications and customizeability of this app make it fantastic! And I love that it still allows me to use my native reminders on my Mac or see them in iCloud if needed. Thanks so much!

So much better than Apple Reminders. I love this app, fantastic design, excellent themes, and the customizable actions for notifications are killer. Thank you for making such a great app!

Well worth the cost!!. So many features!!!!!!

Simple & Excellent. This is a terrific app for somebody who wants to organize their day into tasks but doesn’t need the immensity of something like Things or Todoist. It feels light on it’s feet and well made. Highly recommended!

There’s a new reminder in town!!. It takes a certain app to leave a review. It takes a unique app to take the place of another and Memento is just that! I’d been using Due for the longest to capture quick reminders because we all know  own reminders app is a joke. However Memento uses its foundation and puts on a polished and robust feel to make it my new go to. Future Update Add-ons: * Please fix: an easier way to access notes * Make the the dark app icon appearance to be TRUE BLACK especially for us oled users! * When marking a completed reminder, have the app automatically initiate an action (call, text, visit website) before completed * Need this... more URL Schemes to launch a new reminder quickly when not using Siri * Clean up notification pop up instead of time presets just on top of each other * Ability to change layout on Apple Watch (give me stacks so I can see more) * Ability to edit a reminder in Apple Watch * Ability to create a “new” reminder in Apple Watch using pre-assigned templates (time and location) *Attachments anyone? PDF/jpeg (now we’re talking) This may seem like a lot and yes it’s the small stuff, but for a power user it makes life easier. All that said and done this STILL beats out everything so hats off to you dev. It’s a dull place in the App Store and you my friend deserve accolades. By the way this went from #76 when downloaded to #6 the next day. It’s getting lots of looks and play and I can honestly say I would pay upwards of 4.99 to 5.99 and still be happy! We start adding major Apple Watch features Its jumping to 9.99. You get 1 app for three devices! Get yours dev!

Not bad at all.. Apple should have acquired y’all instead of ripping off the design but that’s Apple for you.

The best. The absolute best. I’ve tried every planning app out there and I do mean tried them all and I only use paid version apps. So I have them all. This is my absolute favorite. I use Kondo for my long term planning and goals.

Horrible. No date to add very misleading

Clean and simple. Nice upgrade to the default iOS app. It’s clean UI keeps me focused on creating a reminder and moving on to more important things.

Love it, but one huge glaring flaw. Notifications just do not fire sometimes. It’s not at all reliable. I have a nightly notification set for 7PM. I get this notification maybe 3 times a week. Sometimes I do not get it for days at a time. Notifications need to be solid.

Disappointing. Not worth the money.

Something very close to my dream reminder app. Loving it

Not Usable. I have been using it for about a few minutes and I purchased specifically for MacOS but it doesn't seem to be working. Upon launch, I'm getting an error message and nothing seems to sync. It appears that it is not optimized for MacOS use as it also says "Fix Local Account" in which the directions are specifically made for iOS so there isn't much I can with this app.

Incorrect badge. The badge notification only seems to include overdue reminders. Not location based reminders. Please fix.

Upgrade. This app is a great upgrade to the slept on reminders app. I'm sure apple will take notice and beef up their native app.

CANNOT SEE NOTES. It's sort of a hassle having to click on a reminder to see the NOTES pane. Hope the app could have it displayed together with the reminder itself.

Beautiful.. Really nice app. Easy to use. Recommended.

Location based reminders do not work.. I’ve been using the default Reminders.app for location based reminders which was worked consistently. The only problem is that it didn’t show notes after updating to ios 13. Memento does show the notes in the notifications but it’s never triggered! All the permissions are correctly set but still nothing. The odd thing is that if the Reminders.app is installed, location reminders do trigger but twice. Once from Reminders.app and another from Memento.app. Update: I’ve been experimenting and tried again with Reminders.app removed but I still get the double reminders. Not sure whats going on. All I need are geo reminders that shows more information than the default Reminders. They are all generated in bulk through Shortcuts. Second update: blocking notifications from Reminders.app prevents Memento from triggering. Enabling it for Reminders then Memento triggers *sometimes*. I have read the FAQ from the website. Everything is configured properly but it's still not working consistently.

I broke down and it was worth it.. I recently switched from Android to iPhone so I NEVER used to pay for apps (luxury comes at a cost I guess lol) when I saw the UI for Memento though I broke down and bought it. And boy was it worth it. As most people know iPhone Notes is super boring and just no fun to use, Memento was a great solution. I absolutely love the simplicity, especially the color schemes. The setup is super easy and everything is just a tap away. The only "negative" thing about it is I don't really understand the "For You" tab but I'm pretty sure that's just an "operator error" issue lol. UPDATE 3/3/19 WIDGET?! Does memento have a widget?? Why won't my widget show up?! The option is there sooo....send help lol

NOT a stand-alone app — must be linked to native iOS Reminders app to use at all. Saw this on Product Hunt and liked the overall design, simple UI/UX, and simple features. However, upon buying it and downloading it, I found out that this currently only works by connecting to the native default iOS Reminders app. It CANNOT function as an app on its own. It has to import everything from the IOS Reminders app and everything you add/delete in this app also happens in the iOS Reminders app. That is really a major detail that I wish was clearly advertised. It would’ve been fine as long as it is clear before buying. Personally for me, my iOS Reminders app has been filled with random notes that I left for quick access/reference. My actual to-do lists and reminders lives in other to-do apps (which is why I would even consider buying another to-do list app). So this required linking functionality to an app that I have filled with random information that I can’t delete makes this Reminder app totally cluttered and useless to me. I know that’s specific to how I chose to use the iOS Reminders app, but that’s what I’ve done for years and why I’m interested in separate to-do list apps. I’ve never had to consider how I decide to use one app might affect some other separate app I might want to use in the future. I’m sure the linking is not a problem to most people and even convenient to import and make sure it’s all synced. It’s a great option, but to me it’s incredibly problematic that it’s not actually an option but absolutely required to even use at all. If this was all clear to begin with, I’d be happy to keep an eye out for the update later and buy it then. But since it wasn’t clear to me in the description, it has been a very annoying experience to find out immediately after paying that I can’t use this app. Perhaps it’s my fault to some degree that I didn’t read more of the reviews to find out, but also I’ve never had to even consider whether any other app I’ve ever bought might possibly be fully dependent on linking with another existing app. It is a detail very much worth explicitly spelling out. I don’t think the developer, Mark DiFranco, was intentionally misleading or deliberately creating false advertisement. Unfortunately, it’s still an issue in any case. Looking forward to any potential updates in the future where this finally can exist as a stand-alone app. Until then, this 1-Star rating from me remains.

A E S T H E T I C. So far it is truly far superior to the clunky unattractive iOS reminders App. I find it aesthetically pleasing and extremely efficient in getting my tasks recorded and then.... "reminding me" haha.

Good app. Thanks.

Mmmm. Was hopeful but disappointed. App is not intuitive at all.
