Another Home Run!!!. I now own all of this developer's apps. And, all of them top notch. However, this one might be my favorite out of them all. The sequencer in this baby is insane! Very easy to set up exactly what you're after, but then hit the random buttons and tweak the probability settings, and you'll end up with magnificent stuff you hadn't even thought of. Highly recommended!

Oh my! Where to start??. Aagh. Words fail me. This is the best flippin' music app I have ever had. Not just on iOS, EVER! I'll admit I wouldn't know a real TB-03 from any of the various emulations I've used over the years, but I do know that this nails EXACTLY what I want, plus so much more. Everything about the execution of this app is top notch. Bram Bos has outdone himself, and that is saying a LOT. However, do NOT buy this if you're serious about putting a lot of music out, or if your parents / friends / significant other suspect you of substance abuse. Because you will spend hours and hours and hours and days and day just messing with Troublemaker with a totally stupid, stoned looking grin on your face. Kidding aside ... Troublemaker sounds great, is way more than a TB-03 emulator, looks great, works great, is fun to use, and just oozes quality. If you're into electronic music in any way, you will not be dissapointed. If you aren't into electronic music ... be prepared for that to change. [update 1/21/2017] Beam Bos updated again with a really nice added mutation: skip notes. With this and the other parameters, you can set up patterns to run with just the right amount of variation to keep them from getting boring - or make them go ape sh_*t. Very nice! [update 7/18/2017] Brambos does it again. He just released a patch to work around a bug in another developer's host app until they provide their own fix! That's beyond the call of duty!

Yeah this sh** be awesome. Two minutes with Troublemaker had me headbanging to my internal DJ and dancing at my own private rave. Love it, can’t wait to use it in my live set next week at the music convention. Looking forward to seeing how well it syncs up to some beat machines, but as it stands on its own, very fun indeed.

Active and Responsive Developer, Great Sounds, AUv3 what more could you want!. I own every product from this developer. I am in support of developers embracing the AUv3 standard, especially when it sounds this good. Lots of consistency and simple, but powerful control options. Lots of constant updates with new features. Highly recommended.

Instant buy and no regrets. So far i bought all of Bram Bos' apps and i love them all. This one is no exception and maybe even the best of all of them. You'll be grooving in a matter or seconds after you boot this one up. Super groovy and delicious. This one sounds like a beast and is super easy to operate. And it is made in Holland, the country where all great things come from. Grab it now while your money is still worth something...

Great acid synth. This app sounds great! It’s the best sounding 303 emulation I’ve found so far and the extra waveforms are really usable. I also like the interface because it’s easy to see the whole pattern at a glance. It’s much easier to use than the regular 303 sequencer. One thing I would wish for is cc mapping of the controls. From what I’ve read the values seem fixed, and they’re also fixed on my usb controller, unfortunately with no overlap. I’d prefer not to have to buy a new usb controller, but this app is so fun I just might.

Love this / much fun! <3. update suggestions: 1.) midi OUT (outputing notes/bends to other synths) would make this app a top notch intuitive production tool. (praying for this) 2.) scale templates to slide the notes into seemlessly

Double the trouble. This app is great.. especially in duo instances. Brams work is the best ;) Awesome Job on this one man.

Not working?. I don’t think this is working any longer for iPhone 11?

Fun and easy to use, missing basic features. I love the simplicity and random functions. It’s missing basic features that prevent it from being a serious plugin. Specifically, it’s missing - undo pattern change - octave control/switch - sub oscillator - filter attack - lfo destination (it only controls cutoff) - glide time Nevertheless, I still find myself playing around with it for up to 30 minutes at times. I can get a nice little pattern going very quickly too, which is it’s best feature imo. I would instead recommend Bram bros’s midi controller suite, which has troublemaker’s pattern generator as a midi controller.

Rarely does something merit the hyperbole & hype that it gets, Troublemaker deserves it all. Bram Bos is a class act who is friendly to the iOS music production community and always fixes any issues with his apps. When it was revealed his latest in the "maker" series of AUv3 primed soft synth apps was going to be a bass machine the buzz was instant, then beta users started putting it over & the first few videos showed up. Of course the 303 comparison was the easiest to make but I was more impressed with the genius note input system he came up with, showing that the skeuomorphic mimicking of hardware down to the last detail isn't always the best way of doing things. I am more a pop/rock/indie guitarist than EDM guy but I love all types of instruments, keys, sounds, etc. I got the app during the 3/03 sale and have been awed by its sound and versatility. The 'bass guitar' wave tone is completely usable but the other waves & especially the fine tune controls for shaping are just crazy. All manner of burps, bloots, fizzles, rumbles, reso stomps and wooly bass tones can be copped quite easily. I am seriously impressed and thank Bram for the sale. I hope others on the fence realize that on sale or not, this is an incredible app. Highly recommend.

Highly usable instrument. Sounds fantastic and is way easier to program than a classic 303. Ableton Link takes this over the top. I'll be using this regularly in my mixes. Awesome work by the programmers. One of my top 5 apps, easily.

Could easily be five stars if.... Loses one star for no undo on the random and variation features and loses one star for no patch save in the standalone version... Otherwise I'd have no problem giving this amazing app five stars.

Disappointed again. Nothing to see here. Just another lame 303 emulator that tries to add a new take but fails. Way too expensive for what it is. Maybe someday we'll get a good iOS 303 but not yet.

Added the acid 303!. Wow i thought this was an amazing 303 ish app before and now it has a pretty darn good acid bassline in the AU. Sticker was a nice touch, i feel we are all closer as one and all is love!

More than just a great 303-like bassline synth. The additional waveforms, the versatile sequencer, and best yet: The ability to export midi makes this a powerful a must-have. This is one of those rare apps that gets even better when you use it in ways you suspect were unintended. Also: Amazing support by the developer. I own all of their apps.

Great App!. Killer sound, just one caveat...I noticed on one of your other plugins that you added a radio option to adjust “step resolution” to other note lengths (i.e. triplets), not having this a standard feature across all your plugins is a major bummer. Hope this eventually changes! Keep up the great work

Great sound but kills your battery!!!. Sounds awesome but runs in background spinning the cpu and wasting your battery. Check the battery in settings and you’ll see it’s using energy even if you’re not using it! They need to fix this!

Not working with iPhone 7!. Does this work as a stand-alone app? It opens, I only get sequencer section not top synth section. Downloaded audiobus 3, still not working! Not happy. What am I doing wrong? Sorry I never got back to you. User error. Love the app. Love all your apps actually. Keep me coming!!

If it sounds like a duck. It's not a 303 but it sure as heck sounds like one. Great sounding synth with one of the most inspirational sequencer interfaces in iOS. This is the best 303 emulation I've heard even compared to much higher priced VSTs.

The Bass Line Maker. There are a multitude of ways you can play the app, via midi, the AU host keyboard, or the built in sequencer which has a random and mutation mode. It's easy to export audio or midi sequences directly as perfect loops to your other apps. The developer continues to add new features and improvements.

So amazing so close to 303. This is the fastest I have reviewed an app. Uh wow! No it's not a 303 it's an APP!!! Does it sound as good as the boutique re rerelease. YES!!! Nobody would ever know the difference in the mix. I see fun releases down the road. Peace! SoundCloud -microluv

Awesome app!. Great sound, easy user interface and ability to sync to midi makes this the best bassline app ever. I have been looking for an actual analog bass machine like the TB-303 but, now I am done searching. This synced to my TR-8 makes for hours long jam sessions.

Acid Bass Bliss. I have tried many TB-303 copycats, both hardware and software, and nothing comes as close as this. Burbles and warbles like the real thing. Dynamic sound, lots of control, and the sequencer is dead easy to use as well if you want to work in- box.

!. If you like making music.. I highly recommend picking up ALL the Bram Bos gear.

Acid Knockout!. There's an inexplicable clarity to how this app feels: the UI is brilliant and taking on 303 emulation is no small task but Brambos knocks it out of the park: Very convincing acid and beyond via a generous waveform selection and the amazing degree of expressiveness possible within this app. Cutting edge excellence for iOS which is top-tier essential.

Beautiful synth ZERO SUPPORT. Arpeggiator doesn’t load in Cubasis or Aum. Five days no reply to support inquiry. I had to buy Rozeta for another $10 just to have access to a decent arpeggiator, but found it had no randomization features. Developer has hobbled and hog tied the app with no explanation…I think a solution to my issue or a partial refund is in order cause I do like the sound of the synth part of the app. In fairness the problem could be with Cubasis and Aum. Cubasis has not responded either. This does not absolve this developer for blowing me off. I have never rated one star but now I get why people do. I wanna make music, what do developers want? Money? Not loyalty? Incredible.

Great app, awesome dev. Just wanted to say thanks, and that on a 3rd gen IPad Pro, you are one of, or possibly the only developer that is good enough that all of your apps are FULLY functional, I’ve wasted like 200 bucks on apps that half/don’t work at all on new devices/ios12. You give me hope that I didn’t waste 1400 bucks on an IPad that I mainly got for mobile audio production. Moog pooped the bed, sugarbytes pooped the bed, and so did most others, there are few apps that are fully functional and don’t have audiobus zombie background use and 70% cpu usage. I seriously have to hard reset brand new IPad after attempting to use 30 dollar apps. Thanks again keep it up, cuz you totally win at this point in the app game. You made higher paid devs look completely incompetent.

Abelton link. Tried to link trouble maker to Garage band and I could not get it to connect properly or slave to the midi due to the fact Garage band has not accommodated Abelton link yet. You can run it as a instrument selection through the plug in, but can't sink together. I would give this 10 stars if you can Garage band to implements.

Awesome. Great sound and UI, responsive developer. Just nails 'that' sound.

Vg sounding 303 emulator .... Great 303 style sound, but when saving user patches, the app does not save parameters (eg cutoff, reso etc), mutation setting, nor wave type, rendering most patches saved nothing like the original that was saved. Are there any plans to enable midi mapping to hardware in the future? This would be invaluable.

Not working and size on screen is weird. Hi this is not working on iPad Pro 2020. No sound, app Is at bottom of screen. Weird.

Need developers to respond. This is a standout app for the sounds it can create, but there’s still no ability to save parameters or to capture the correct octave when exporting as WAV.

Soooooo small on the iPhone. Pretty good. Small controls and somewhat limited but good for what it is. Sounds better than most which is what counts.

Great sounds. Very cool!

Battery killer. Runs in the background *without asking* and kills your battery. There’s no option to disable background audio. Every decent audio app that runs in the background tells you it’s doing this and gives you the option to disable it.
