DYNAMITE. Brambos straight hit it with this one: mind blowing results immediately and an original concept brilliantly executed. This app (and developer) deserve all the 5-star reviews. Stop reading this and start jamming on Ruismaker Noir.

Not up to par with professional drum apps yet!. Was hoping for ableton link + midi support in the update. Really disappointed! Have to keep using it to half of its real potential as an AU. For the record, some live musicians use real guitar pedals with ruismaker and ruismaket fm. Not with this one, because it won’t sink with anything else as standalone, not even bram bos apps!

I never downloaded or purchased this App. I did not download this app on my. Could there be some sort of glitch that Apple is using people’s credit card save on file to automatically push paid apps into your phone without your knowledge or consent.

Another Winner. A very efficient app capable of a wide range of sounds with suitable controls. Lots of fun to play this synth and get a groove going.

Intuitive and sounds great. I got this after watching haq attaq’s youtube review. I’m using it on iPhone. Within seconds I had a wild sounding loop. Super fun and easy to learn. I’m excited to use this in some upcoming productions.

hipsteruseless. totally a waste of money $9.99 when the hipster intelligentsia producers/supporters and emusician toadies don’t even offer a glimpse of how to change the BPM. i guess you have to meet a hip quotient to understand, because the manual doesn’t. stay away, stay very far away from this.....shame on emusician and ruismaker

DAAAAAANG.. This is an immensely impressive synth. The range of flexibility and variety of sounds I can make on the fly is astonishing. And the possibilities for hybrid dubstep drum/bass lines are... incredible. Great work Bram Bos. Definitely recommend for any musician’s toolbox.

One of the best. One of the best iOS music apps by one of the best iOS music app developers. Dark and gritty sounds and an experience that rewards digging in and experimenting. Flexible enough to go beyond drum and bass sounds - try using it with a MIDI keyboard. A "must have".

Best App/Developer. A few months deep in my iOS music making journey and Ruismaker apps are not only the most stable in Cubasis for me they’re also the most inspiring. Developer also responded to multiple questions with lightning speed. 10/10 all around

Becoming a staple in my arsenal of tools. I Love, love, love this drum synth. I really don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like it on any platform. The creative stuff I get from it is worth every dime I paid. Keep up the great work.

another gem. Innovative and sounds great! I honestly didn’t think I needed this app with the drum machines I already have in my workflow but was oh so wrong... Nothing on iOS creates noises like this with so much ease and creativity.

Supreme IDM beat generator. Ok, so it’s a tie with Ripplemaker, but this is my favorite drum machine for synthesized type crazy beats. Seek beats is also fabulous and I imagine running them together. This thing is dirty and weird but has a unique vibe so it can be showered off for the lady’s if needed; haha really though I just need to try the midi but if that’s ace then we are piloting a grand synthdrum ship. Hails mate, keep up the innovation. Ps- jr hexatone was IDM king but it no longer runs or is updated.

Bram is da champ!. This app is less than 3 MB but provides infinite creativity. Stand alone mode, presets can be used as switchable patterns and master level interface. Thank you Bram!

A true original. There’s no other app like this. A weird hybrid of a monophonic synth and a drum module. It can be used as a new-school bassline synth, a drum machine, a glitchy noisemaker, and anything in between. It’s especially good at harsh sounds and edgy dynamic sequences.

Great “O-Coast” like synth app. This is a great app, like all my other Bram Bos apps. Good interface ergonomics, logical layout. Easy enough to learn, complex enough to keep me interested for hours. Great sound quality, my friend says it sounds like his Buchla.

The definitive 808 bass synth. This lets you make some very professional-sounding distorted 808s. It comes with a wide selection of presets.

Resolution midi please. Can you add better buttons so I can tweak the real time resolution for drum rolls easier as the screen goes away or a knob per resolution ?

App doesn’t work. Do not buy this app, it does not work on a IPad Pro 2020 at all I want a refund. It also doesn’t work in GarageBand as an audio unit.

A creative playground with hella depth. It’s hard to stop creating on this app, Auv3, all kinds of modulation!

Mind. Blown. Seriously.. Oh my, this app is soooo good! Just when I thought I had every drum / percussive app I could ever use, Bram Bos has managed to come up with something so different and deep, but somehow so easy to get fantastic new and inspiring sounds and grooves that I’m literally blown away! I NEEDED this in my life without even knowing it. Awesome, awesome, awesome. ❤️ The only thing I miss a lot is the multiple patterns and the pattern tools such as left / right shift, that are present in Bram’s other sequencers. But, even missing that it’s still a five star app if there ever was one.

Similar to Moog DFAM.. I recently picked up a DFAM, so luckily I was introduced to this type of experimental drum synth already. It operates under the same basic idea of rhythmic patterns that are shaped primarily using pitch and velocity levels, but the modulation and filter stages are where the similarities end. You can tweak almost every important value based on the sequencer pitch and velocity levels. Granted that the DFAM sounds absolutely powerful in its own right and can quickly become chaotic when beginning to use the patch bay, but it is well suited to produce more natural analog drum sounds. The Ruismaker Noir can get super dirty without much effort. Multiple options to provide drive and distortion on the output of the synth using the FM feedback or the other one next to it (bit crusher I think). The only thing it is missing is the modular patch bay, but of course I rather do that on hardware anyways. I wouldn’t be upset at some more modulation routing options in the future, though!

This is Bram Bos at his finest. Ive been searching far and wide in the ios drum world for an app suitable for making techno..no, not that techno, but proper techno. it has arrived in the form of Noir. but this app is so much more, percussion, bass..industrial tinged rhythm at your fingertips. this machine belongs in a darkened warehouse in Detroit with flickering strobes and a funktion one system. I would buy it twice if i could. well done, sir.

Techno Monster. It’s easily my favourite music app. The sound quality is fantastic and it’s really easy and intuitive to use. It’s very versatile but where it truly shines is making dark industrial sounds, if you like hard techno you NEED this drum synth. I’ve always been impressed by Bram Bos work but this is something else, they really pushed it to the next level. I can’t wait to see what they’ll come up with next :)

This Update . . . ,. Apparently (according to the update info) this update deals with some minor shenanigans. Yes, but what about the hi - jinks! They go together y'know - the shenanigans & the hi - jinks. Everybody knows that, right! Anyway - 5 Stars!

Rythymic heaven. NOIR is unique and highly versatile. My go to for starting a rythym that has never been heard and easy to pair. Those tones wow!
