Does not do large imports!!. I was really looking for an easy way to transfer all of my health data from an old phone to my new phone. This app looked like the ideal way to make it happen. However, every time I try to import the data the whole app shuts down and it has to be restarted. Tried this multiple times to no avail. The backup data is showing as 2.4m points so it may work for smaller transfers. For me, waste of my money and space on my phone!!

Thought it worked, but it didn’t. I bought this app because I had upgraded to a new iPhone and needed to collect all the health data from my blood pressure and heart rate from my old iPhone going back a couple of years. The app said it imported the data and then I thought “great!” But then I went to look at it and it was not fully imported. I could see a historical chart, but none of the data was there so something went wrong. There were no error messages and now I’m having to spend time trying to figure out what the hell went wrong with the stupid thing. Apple says there are software is just “supposed to work.“ But it doesn’t because if it did importing your health data from your old iPhone to your new iPhone using iPhone’s own health tracking app but to just work. Instead you have to pay money to use third-party software, read and try to follow all sorts of instructions, and then it doesn’t work. Frustrating.

Import file to large. I was able to export my health data but when I tried to import it with the app I received a message that the import file was too large and that I needed the splitter app to break the large file into pieces for import. Well, the splitter program is not compatible with my iPhone 13 - you have to have an iMac. I sent a customer service request 3 days ago and have heard nothing. I am out the $4.99 I paid for the app and have no way to import my data. I am very disappointed!

Quick. Easy. Works.. This app was simple and easy to use. I had a brief issue with it at first. When I contacted the developer, I heard back with a perfect solution right away. An easy five star recommendation.

Lifesaver. I have had one of the worst and most stressful experiences buying a new iPhone. After days of struggling to get all my old information onto my phone I realized that all my health data didn’t sync up. I didn’t want to start the process all over and found a blog that recommended this app. Literally could not have been easier. The whole process took under 5 minutes (granted I only have about 6 months of health data anyway) and all my information is now appearing on my new phone. I can breathe a sigh of a relief and feel so thankful for at least one thing going right throughout this whole process. Worth the money!!

Thank you!. This is the first time I have ever felt the need to leave a review. I just got a new iPhone and was getting more and more frustrated trying to get my health data on to my new phone. This was money well spent . Extremely easy to use. Thank you so much. I was really going to be disappointed to lose all of that data just because I got a new phone.

Can’t make it work. No... can too!!!. Not so easy... or not very obvious. Definitely not intuitive. Haven’t given up yet, but right now I just don’t get it. Have a ton of activity data on old phone. Would love to transfer my data to my new phone. Spent the five bucks... that part was easy. Watched the “how to video” which would probably be tough to follow if you’re geek. Not being a geek, well... like I said, “Can’t make it work.” All I can say is it was super easy, but I’ve no clue how I did it. But you gotta “export data” from old phone to iCloud (wi-fi) first. Then it pretty much did it (semi)-automatically.

Save your money. Purchased this APP to import my heart rate info to my new XS. While it does import other health data it does not import heart rate. Reached out to support who was aware of the glitch and blamed apple. If your aware of the issue why is it not disclosed on your app. 4.99 wasted. Was told fix would come when apple addressed the glitch. Hey Why don’t u tell the users that on your description. Upset, 4.99 lost . Never again user !!! SMH

Health data worked!. This worked flawlessly for my health data, but in the activity app, not so flawless. The workouts show in the days, but the rings have not filled out nor have my awards came back. Hoping it just takes some time?

Great program. A little snafu at first but tech support was great and straightened it out in hours! Worked like a charm after that. Well worth the money. Highly recommend!

Works for getting data out of a public beta. I decided after about a week of using the latest public beta that I wanted to go back to a less-buggy version of iOS. Using a tool that pulled my health and activity data from my iTunes backup didn't work, because the result was from a newer version of iOS. This tool worked great, though! Note that you'll have to pull a data export before purging the public beta from your phone.

Did what needed to be done. After hours of research I decided to spend the $4.99 for this app. I never spend money on apps but eventually realized this would be the easiest way to transfer just my Apple health data from a work phone to my new phone without doing a full iCloud backup/restore. I did not want any work or other unnecessary data imported to my new phone. I was able to successfully export and transfer my last 5 months of health data from my iPhone XR to iPhone 12. And it was quick and easy. Thank you!

Expensive, but worth it.. $5 to process 18 months of data, it’s expensive, but SO EASY! I had a backup for whatever reason previously, my phone died so I lost 6 months of data, super easy to import the old data. Very happy!!

Works like a charm. I didn’t realize my health data wasn’t back up on iCloud or my computer when i was trading in my old phone. I quickly exported the data, then used this app to save my months of data collection. It worked like a charm.

Didn’t transfer Apple Watch Data. I was trying to transfer my Apple Watch data... it was supposed to do so using the health data. It transferred partial information and just recover one day of apple watch activity. I wish I could get a refund. The description should specify it doesn’t work for Apple Watch activity

Restored 1.5 years of health data in a minute!!!. Thank you!!! I needed to reset my phone due to a bizarre ghost photos situation that was using ALL of my 65g of space! If I restored the data, the problem came back. I lost my health data but gained the proper space. Luckily, this time (this has happened before) I was able to export my health data PRIOR to resetting my phone. I just bought this app and imported that data in about a minute!!! 65k data points all back!!! Woo hoo!!! I'm recovering from an injury and that data is very meaningful to me. The progress of my body keeps me going on the tough days. Apple has failed in this regard and I am so grateful Lionheart Software took the time to write this incredibly useful app. ❤️

Successful File Transfer. This program enabled me to transfer The health files on my iPhone 7 S which are used for work to my personal iPhone it is great

Version 1.2.1. New version has fixed the crashing problem on iPhone 12 Pro Max. App works but one downside is that activity data/rings are not imported, but this is due to Apple.

Simple, effective & quick!. I was alarmed to realize big chunks of health data were missing when I upgraded from iPhone 6s to iPhone 12 mini. Apparently I hadn’t backed up all data to iCloud along the way before upgrading—all the data were stored on my old device. I was able to quickly export all my health data into a zip file and airdrop the file onto the new phone. Within seconds several years of health data were on the new phone. I just had to delete several duplicate data points that were imported from different health app sources. Very helpful app. Thank you!

Worked Flawlessly. Used to import 3 years of data. Whole process took 20 minutes. If you are concerned about privacy you can put your phone in airplane mode during the import and delete the app when you're done.

False Advertising. I bought this app to restore all the data from my apple watch to my new phone. After following all the instructions more than once, I still got limited data (just some workouts). There was no move or stand or exercise activity in the activity app and you basically wasted $5 for what you could have done by yourself. False advertising and I wish I could get my money back.

It worked for me. With all the 1 star reviews I was nervous about paying for an app that might now work. Thankfully I didn’t have any problems and my health data from my old phone was able to be imported to my new phone within 2 minutes or so. Be aware you have the option to import from health data such as iPhone or Apple Watch. Don’t choose both or you will have some overlapping duplicate info. It’s easy to delete from the health app and re import from one source. I imported from my Apple Watch, which had over 200k pieces of data. The numbers are ever so slightly off but close enough that I don’t mind. Be aware, this app won’t import things like closed rings and awards from the Apple fitness app. I don’t think the data points that you import count toward your trends (like comparing 2022 steps to 2023 steps, etc). But at least the data is here on my phone now!

Can’t import data. This app is good, but unfortunately my health data failed to import to my phone, the app kept crashing. I found it was my old iPhone health data that blocks it from importing. Is there any way I can connect with an engineer who can help me debug into the issue? Really appreciate!

The App I’m sure is great. I’m sure this app works great. The developer was very helpful in trying to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, the problem I have is not related to the app, but to a bug in Apple IOS not performing an export in the Health app on my old device.

Recovered data seamlessly. I used a Mac backup / restore when changing phones, but health data didn’t get restored, probably because my backup wasn’t encrypted. Enabling iCloud on the old device afterword didn’t help, so I exported the data, while I pondered the painful re-entering of the data (important due to recent cardiac recovery). Health Data Importer did it in seconds, seamlessly! Well worth $4.99!

It just works!. I had about 2 M data points so it took me about 10 minutes to export and another 10 to import, way faster than doing it manually.

Simply Great. The app does exactly what it states it does. Straight and to the point. I had a few questions so I emailed the developers and the customer support was outstanding. Quick and helpful responses.

After several tries didn’t work. I had 3 years worth of data and when I ran the app it stated that my file was too big! So the app create 6 smaller zip files. I imported one file at a time and after the app was done didn’t see but a few months of health data

It Works!. I was a hesitant to buy this app because some of the reviews but I can confirm it works with the exported health app files thank you!

Saved my activity awards. Restoring from an icloud backup didn’t bring my data or activity awards over when I migrated to a new phone and new Apple Watch. Luckily I exported a health activity backup from my old phone. This app imported it flawlessly. Over 2 years of data was brought back. Shame on apple for making such a shoddy way to transfer data to a new iPhone that doesn’t work. I only wish this one function app were not 5 dollars. It does only one thing but it does it well

I’ve been robbed.. I can’t believe I just paid money to have this app not import my health data. It imported some, but there’s a huge section of my data that was not imported, as in, YEARS of data that my doctor recommended I track. I’m very frustrated and irritated that the app doesn’t do what it says it does. If it were free I’d just shrug and move on, but it’s not.

Fantastic!!. 3 years of health data i thought was lost after being locked out of my old apple account. thankfully i was able to export and save the xml file and this app helped me re-upload all of my data. very thankful for this. 100% worth the money. uploaded over 180k data points in less than a minute. very impressed and very happy. thank you so much.

Not all data was moved. I just upgraded to an 8+ and looked for a way to import my missing health data. This app was able to import all my run/ workout info but did not import the activity rings or their data. Kind of a bummer and not worth the $5 IMO.

Imported a good amount. I was able to import all data sets from an old phone, old measurements from third party apps included in the export however Apple Watch imports appear to fail instantly.

Works ok except manual entries. Fairly efficient at moving over data. However, it was unable to move over raw blood pressure data that I had manually entered over the last year and only plotted the trend curve

Restored 3.5 years of health data. This app restored over 3 million data points. The only problem I had is the zip file wouldn’t unzip on the new phone, I think it was because my old phone was on iOS 11 and the new on 12. Once I updated the old phone to 12 it worked perfectly. Really happy with this app.

Checks in but doesn’t check out. Moved my data right over into HealthKit on my new phone but then you have to leave the app on your phone or it takes all the data back. Hide it in the back of the closet, that’s my advice

Does not move activity data. This app moved my health data over, but not my Activity app data. So if yer primary app that you use is Activity, look elsewhere. Very disappointing. The details of my workouts do not show up at all in the Health app. The only thing I can see in the health app is that there was a workout, but there are no details available with it in the Health App and absolutely zero data made it into my Activity app.

IT WORKED. It’s a long story but I ended up not able to use iCloud to sync over my health data to my new phone. This app worked like a charm and was visually appealing too! I exported my old data to one drive and was able to pull it right in. Thank you so much!

Worked good. Warning could be larger on the possibility of duplication though. I almost ran it with both iPhone and watch selected.

Works great - fantastic customer service. I bought this app because My health data didn’t switch over when I got a new phone (luckily It was still on my old phone). I had a problem trying to import the file because the zip file was to large. I emailed support and Dan emailed me back promptly. He offered to split the file for me, which he did. I was then able to retrieve my health data. It’s unusual to get personalized help now days, so I was impressed😄. Thank Dan!!

Perfect. I couldn’t get my health stats and workouts to transfer when I got my new phone, despite having my health data in iCloud. This App fixed the problem in just a few minutes. I rarely leave reviews. This app is definitely worth the price.

More or less works. Worked, except the weight data originally imported as all zeros until after a phone restart it and then it listed the weight data correctly. Weird.

Crashes on import. iPhone X.. For 6 bucks, and an app I only need every now and then, I was expecting it to save me time. Instead, I spent the time trying to work with this app, only to have it crash on import every time I tried. So I was left wasting more time since I still had to find a solution to moving my health data, and I’m out 6 bucks. Look elsewhere or save your money and just spend the time to move it manually. Sounds like others have had success, so try at your own risk. Wish I could get a refund.

It works. This whole process has been a pain to say the least but I am happy with the result. Initially, I couldn't get my old phone to export correctly. The share page would never appear. I updated the phone to the latest iOS and then it worked. I then imported everything in but realized there waa duplicate data for steps and whatnot. I didn't read the fine print about importing from the phone and watch. I deleted all the data and imported from the watch and it worked. I would like to see the ability to filter these duplicates automatically like Apple seems to do.

Worked well and got all the data. The activity rings in the activity app didn't all display, but the data is in the health app

Imports don’t work. My initial import didn’t work because it was too large and the app crashed. It warns you about this and tells you to email support to ask how to split the data into smaller chunks. I did, and a week later I have no reply. I decided to split up the data myself, and I managed to get it all the way to he screen where I pick what devices I want to import from (Apple Watch, iPhone, etc) and then the app errors out and says the import was cancelled. No other information.

Lost data. Paid for this app after upgrading phone and finding no data transferred in health app by itunes A few buck later and my body weight data wasnt transferred by this paid app Unimpressive

Did not work 😫. This app crashes at the end of a Health Data import. Wouldn't complete the transfer.

Used to work well, but keeps crashing. I used to use this all the time, but now it crashes when I try to import my Apple Watch Data. I really love this app, would be great it it could be made to work reliably again.

Works great!. So I bought this app after reading a guide on iDownloadBlog. Let me quickly say it works exactly as advertised, its quick, easy. Just read the app description carefully as I wanted my Move, Exercise and Stand Hours to be transferred but this app cannot provide this. Definitely recommend if you have a new phone or want to do a fresh install of iOS.

No health was lost after reset. I purchased prior to a reset thinking I could lose health data but found this app unnecessary no health data was lost. Prior Calendar data was lost.

Crashes constantly. Imports fail. Avoid. This app fails to import health data, crashes constantly and is all around poorly engineered. Avoid.

Great app but .... Great app. So easy to move your data over when you get new phone and don’t want to restore your old phone details and setup. But, it does not populate the activity section, the activity circles you get from Apple Watch. I have sent request and not heard back. 5 stars if it would do this as become accustomed to seeing the 3 rings and would love that old data to be visible.

Doesn’t handle ‘large’ XML. App complains about my health export (80MB) and tells me to manually split the files out on a computer and import multiple smaller files myself. I thought I was paying for convenience!! Not pleased.

Wanted to Sync - doesn’t work. Wanted to simply sync F45 Lionheart data into apple health app - either doesn’t work or is far too complicated to do. Don’t waste your money.

Painless Health data transfer. Despite being expensive, it does exactly what it says it does. It depends on you but $8 to get years worth of health data into my phone was definitely well spent.

Still crashes!. After the update I was hoping that this time I was going to be able import my old Apple Watch data which it had 800K data points. But once I pick the data source then tap on import, it still just crashes. :/

Responsive Developer 👍👍. Had problems with importing my reasonably large dataset in an earlier version. Dan replied to my support request very quickly and got right on fixing the issues. App works brilliantly, will happily use it next time I need to wipe a phone.

Health Importer. Worked seamlessly the first time, reading and importing a health export containing ~ 450k records. Nice warning message regarding data duplication (eg Steps) if you import both iPhone and Watch data. Suggested Improvements: 1. De-duplicate that iPhone/Watch data (coming in a future update) 2. Add the Activity data from the Watch app.

Excellent app to move health data to new phones. I googled how to move the health data from one iPhone to a new one and this App was recommended. I purchased it and installed on the old iPhone. After exporting the data I imported it on the new one. Everything is on the new iPhone and life goes on. Simple App to use

It worked!. Was very quick and very easy! I was able to transfer years worth of data over to my new phone in less than a minutes work. Why doesn’t apple offer this for free though? I feel like I shouldn’t have to buy a $7 app. iPhones should store this info when you make a back up of your phone. It’s not the app developers fault that apple sucks though, so still gunna give 5 stars.

Works perfectly. Wish more apps worked this well. It's pretty much a one time use but worked perfectly to transfer exported HealthKit data from old phone to new.

Very Disappointed. I paid for this app (which I was already upset about) to simply transfer my health data from my old phone to a new one, and it can’t even do that. Before the import completes it crashes every time, weather I transfer a few things or everything at once. Must be fixed!!!

Does not import activities. Bought this to move my health info over to a new iPhone, but it doesn’t import the move, exercise, and stand activities and achievements.

Waste. I should’ve listened to other reviews but I didn’t think my files were too big. It won’t download them- I contacted help, they offered to split the files, now nothing. No split files, no downloaded data and have not received a refund. Save your money .

Money maker. Definitely a way to take your money. Once you pay for it and download, error message comes up saying the file is too large and you have to use a Mac to download more software for it to work. What a waste.

didn’t work for me. After restoring my iPhone after unlocking, I was surprised that all my Health Data had disappeared. After looking through the App Store for a solution (even if I had to pay) I decide upon Health Import. Sad to say, after exporting my data from a back up phone to use with the app, I was greeted with failed imports. Email to support to date (installed 2/18) has not been answer nor replied. While $4.99 is not a lot of money, it is for something that failed to deliver.

Does not work for me. From all the reviews I though I would pay and give this a try. I have tried 4 different export files and every time the app crashes before complete toon. I have the latest iOS so there may be an issue there with compatibility.

Works Great. This is a somewhat useful app. Follow the very simple and clear instructions and it works. BUT, hourly data can no longer be viewed. Click on the "big circle" and nothing happens. A serious flaw.

Prompted to download another app because the file was too big for this app.. Prompted to download Health XML Splitter because export file was too large for this App to handle. Was not able to download the second app on my MacBook as instructed. Total waste of money.

Not helpful at all. Doesn’t give a max file size your data can be before it prompts you to buy a Mac OS only app to split the data. All the articles on this app is wrong in the pricing as it’s now 4.99 not the 1.99 or 2.99 all the websites promised. I still can’t get my health data and would like a refund.

Cannot be Used without a Mac. Tried to simply export my health data from one iPhone to another and the app said the file was too large and needed a Mac computer. So it’s completely useless and a waste of the $5 to buy it.

Good, but buggy. This app likes to crash with large imports. I had to import smaller files which meant less content.

Not pleased. Didn't move the maps of my activities over. Also duplicated all my workouts even though I followed the instructions and only selected one source.

Does not support athenahealth XML import. Just had a physical and tried to import lab results from the Athena Health portal for my doctor but the app does not seem to recognize the XML format.

Crashes during import.... I would be happy to improve my rating, however at this point here are my issues: I have an iPhone X 256G I have updated to the latest iOS (it crashed under the previous version as well) I have 2.6G of health points to import It begins the import, gets to 2.6G and hangs. Then the app crashes and quits. I’ve tried reimporting from my iPhone 7+ but it still crashes. I want it to work, so am looking for a solution, but will take the refund if absolutely necessary. Thank you for any help you can offer!

Good. Not great. Might help to let people know BEFORE THEY GIVE MONEY if they have to large a file that you have to split it on the computer through ANOTHER program you require us to download.

Does not import any activity data. Missing your rings? This won’t get it for you. Workouts are imported without much of the useful data (GPS, HR). Support says it’s an API issue. I can understand that, but the app should clearly spell these limitations out on the store page. I wasted $5 on this app. I wonder how many others did.

Not worth it. App evidently is for iPhone only. Shame when you have a 12" iPad to look at it with. Tried it on iPhone 12 Pro iOS 16.4.1 and just crashes.

Crashes when importing watch data. After claiming to process 70k data points from my watch, this app crashes before the data is moved to heath app. Sigh
