My preferred pollen app. Overall, I find this app to be the best pollen tracking app. However, as someone who actually pays specific attention to the numerical pollen count, I’d love to see this added to the app ... in general, a “high pollen count” means nothing. Because a high count in WA state is 100pcm, whereas a high count in GA is 6000+pcm. Why does this matter? Because I use it to determine whether I can open my windows.

Great! But.... I think this app is very useful. I can always get the type of pollen and the low medium and high warning. The pollen list is in order of it’s intensity. This is my first go to app in preparing my day of the possibility for allergy medication. The limitation that disappoints me is not being able to get this information in an area I’m not currently physically in. I want to check the pollen in Eugene, OR when I’m home in Oakhurst, CA. If I could get that information from this app I would give you a 5 star rating and be telling everyone about this app not to mention how helpful this would be to me personally.

Decent app. Pro version needs more push notification capability. Nice app. Visually very clean. And provides necessary data in app. But for the Pro version, I'd really like to see more push notification capabilities. Allow me to receive alerts based on what I want to see, such as >medium pollen count for the current day, for tomorrow, at the time I want to receive them (morning, etc).

Useless for me. I can’t trust it. I live in the southeast and the only accurate reading I can find, is observing how much yellow dust is accumulating on my car. This app says low pollen day, my swollen face disagrees.

Not international. Hello I bought the pollen pro thinking it was international However after I paid the money and downloaded it the city I live in Paris France is not covered. Please refund me ASAP Thanks

Doesn’t offer much info. I get more details from the allergy reports in weather apps. I paid for premium hoping it would include more, but nope…wasted money.

No dashboard or complication. Unlike other weather apps, there are no iPhone dashboard panels or watch complications that can be added to the watch. I figured a paid app that lists WatchOS would support a widget. Nobody wants to have to search for an app and open it to access information that for allergy sufferers is crucial on a daily basis. Are these features in the works?

Daily check. I check the pollen levels every day

Excellent... but. More Apple Watch functionality. Siri watch face data source integration needed. As well as ability to enter the diary from watch with symptoms. Otherwise great. Happy to support the pro version. Keep the updates coming!

So helpful and amazing.. Love this app, check it every day and use the widgets. Would love a feature on being able to add what I know I’m allergic to, to get personalized notifications on days those allergies are popping. Like an extra, “look out” warning. Because some days can be medium, but nothing I’m allergic to. Definitely love the app though, as is. :) highly recommended on getting the paid version too.

Pretty Great. I just wish the notifications would contain the pollen information so I don’t need to open the app constantly.

Almost no information at all. An overall score for the day (high, medium, etc.) and a list of three pollens, but no breakdown of quantity or time of day impact, etc. I want a refund!

Assistant controller. This pollen app has been excellent since I’ve started using; it is always accurate and such user friendly to use. A definite pleasure to use everyday of the entire year.

Decent information, but needs more.... I’d love to see settings for notifications by pollen type. Also, please add support for the Infograph watch complications.

Does not work. The pollen numbers are not correct. I have been comparing them to the local allergy numbers. The local numbers are high mold, grass, trees. The app says it’s low to medium. This is happened several times. I in fact I’ve had it for two weeks and the app keeps saying it’s low to medium. I live in Austin Texas. What’s known as the worst allergies in the country. It was a waste of money.

Simple utility that I couldn’t wait to pay for. It does what it’s intended to do and it does it well.

no buy. will not work at all if you do not allow full device location services. does not allow for any form of manual location entry, like a zip code. should be ZERO stars.

Inaccurate. The free version seemed to work well, and I wanted it to show up on my Apple Watch, so I purchased the “pro” version. Wish I hadn’t. Mine always shows “low” allergens, even when I’m experiencing symptoms of allergies. I finally started checking the allergen count on this app against other sources, and I found that this app is wildly inaccurate. Mine has yet to change from “low,” despite this past entire week being high in several areas. I’m connected to my home WiFi and am positive the issue is not with my phone or connection. I think this app is a rip-off, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Would benefit from historical pollen information. Would be great if added historical pollen lookup for days that were missed in the diary. There’s days we know we had bad allergies but didn’t record, now it’s too late to see what pollen type was bad that day

Broken. The app is totally broken. It thinks my location is in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. I live near Seattle. I tried to manually set my location, doesn’t work. I want my money back. I’m surprised Apple allowed this non-functioning junk in the store.

Good, but would like to write a note on it.. This is a good app for Seasonal Allergy / year round Allergy is sufferers. The map is very helpful, and I can use it on my phone when moving place to place. I like the ratings on how high allergens are, and also like seeing the names. One thing though: it would be helpful if the app allowed me to write notes about the severity— or not— of my allergies. It says “Diary” at the bottom, but the app only allowed me to leave a date along with some information— not much— for that day.

Pro vs Free Version. What’s the difference, really? It’s not particularly special in any “ooh, lemme pay for that!” aspect. I had d/L the free version first. Simple enough, but has a Google bar on the bottom of the map screen. It’s very banner-advertising-esque. Unappealing to me, so I figured I could pay to have it go away, like ads. Nope! So far, I can’t find any difference between the paid version and the free version. What’d I pay $2.99 for, exactly? *waits patiently*

Nice but can’t change location. I try setting a “Custom Location” to see what conditions are like there. The map pops up, but I can’t select a location.

pollenPro. I would like color explaining for, "very hi, hi, moderate, low and none". This would clarify on the map better.

Past pollen counts. I am curious if it would be possible to see a visual on past days even if I’ve not entered an entry every day. I know the pattern I have and don’t always enter information but seeing what forecasts have been for a given day or week last year or a few months prior would be super handy to have. If this is a feature I’ve missed please let me know. Thank you!

Disappointed. Purchased app based on screen shots. First off, it IS helpful for seeing what pollens are affecting an area during the day before going out. However, adding “journal entries” to track how you were affected by the pollens that day only gives you the ability to choose a 1 through 4 sad to happy face rating. It doesn’t keep track of the pollens that were active on that date. Tapping on older data only prompts you to change how you were feeling that day. Being in the military we move around a lot and I can’t know every seasonal pollen in the US that could possibly affect me. At least if I could add to a text box for the date I was tracking and add what the pollens were that day, so I could then go back and read it, I’d have an idea of what was bothering me. But really, what would be more ideal is clicking on old data should show me how I was feeling that day AND what the pollens were.

Diary Entries. Is there anyway to show a 12 month history rather than the present 9? If so, then this app would be perfect!

Great app but cannot save more than 1 location. Great app but I live in one area and have to keep going back and forth between two different places. I always have to constantly reset custom location and should be able to set several like in weather apps. Is there any way to save several different places on this app? Would save a lot of my headaches. I live in one area but work in another most of the week.

Under Performing. Initially when I bought this app, it performed well; however, currently it appears to have forecast limitations that greatly reduces its useability.

Waste of money. Don’t bother

Needing some features ASAP. Review Update: 1. Needing widget 2. Option to save locations Review 2019: The app is very intuitive and easy to use, however, there are some things that are missing that could be very beneficial for the users. 1. I will be nice to have a widget to access the pollen forecast on the fly without the need of opening the app. 2. Option to have the ability of saving locations by zip code, etc. , this option could be very useful when traveling. Also, the user should have the ability of deciding when (time) to receive daily notifications, and or filter notifications by the severity of the forecasts. In addition, app notifications are not working at this time.

Hmmmmm. I used the free version for quite some time. I finally upgraded to the “pro” version to support development, etc. Works pretty much the same, with our ads, which is fine. My only ‘wishes’ are that 1) you could review a few days (maybe up to a week or 10-days?) of history, and 2) the diary had a way to review the conditions on whatever day you make an entry... or, if this does exist, I wish it were easier to figure out how to use :)

Why only one Allergen?. I live in an area where Mold and Juniper/Cedar are high at different intervals. This app only shows Juniper as the only pollen in my area AT ALL TIMES. Why? There are other pollens or allergens besides juniper. I’m frustrated I paid for this app.

Favorite Allergy App. I really like the map with an indicator of where I am, anytime. It also has a diary to keep up with your symptoms, thus have fair warning as to what time of year you will, most likely, have them again and can be prepared. This app is how’s you exactly what is prevalent along with photos so you can steer clear.

Don’t like!!. App does not give pollen count or a key to map... have no idea what colors mean! No sound alerts! Don’t like this and I paid for the app

Best App for Allergy Sufferers. Price is well worth it.

I paid money for this app…. How would you feel if you opened the weather app and asked how hot will it be today, and the app gave no numbers, no specifics—it just says, very hot. That’s how I feel when I open this app. I don’t get any useful information, not even on the Apple Watch app. I know the pollen count is high. I want to know how high. Using metrics. Numbers. You make me sad.

Not as useful as it could be (and maybe inaccurate). The app is simple to use and generally fine at documenting/forecasting high pollen levels. I say “generally” because, compared to the daily pollen counts posted by Atlanta Allergy Center (1) The exact numerical pollen count is not included in the app (understandable for a forecast for the following day, less so in day), and (2) The major pollens are off. The app has been saying Elm is the major pollen locally, with Juniper and Maple also being high, whereas the pollens observed by the Allergy Center are Oak, Pine, Juniper, Maple and Birch. Elm is not listed, which makes sense because Elm trees are not as common here in the Atlanta area and in the South as they are further north (there are some for sure, but likely not enough to make Elm pollen the major contributor to the pollen count or forecast). Additionally, grass and mold pollens are not noted in the app. Maybe they will be as they become more significant contributors. Grass pollens and mold are actually present in low quantities now (again according to the Allergy Center) which is important to know since I am sensitive to some grasses and mold. I am shocked that there are not better allergy apps available considering the millions that suffer year around. I will say Pollen Pro, at least functionally and design-wise, is one of the best of a very weak crop.

Repeated information. This app shows the exact same pollen maps repeatedly for several days in a row before updating. I wonder if it uses history to project what the coming week or month should look like instead of using actual day to day data?

Molds. There is no mold count if you are allergic to it. I reached out to the developer. They said they would look into it.

Nice app for allergy sufferers. I like this app to get details of pollen forecasts. It helps me identify which allergens are in the air and what’s could be causing our symptoms, especially during the Covid outbreaks.

What did I pay for?. Waste of money. Accuweather’s pollen section offers more information. Truly not worth it. I deleted it. Don’t even want to give it space on my phone.

Doesn’t work right. Purchased the Pro version. The map shows one level of pollen count and the daily forecast shows a different pollen count. I also only ever see the daily forecast, never anything in the future so this doesn’t help me.

Free version works best. I paid $1.99 for the Pro version and none of the features work except for the map. I go to the free version to check the temp, types of pollen, etc. Highly disappointed that I wasted $1.99.

Pollen Pro Is A Handy Tool. If you are concerned with ragweed allergy, Pollen Pro gives you general pollen levels daily during hay fever season.

Great iOS app, Needs Complication support for Watch. Great iPhone app that’s easy to use with a good UI (and much better than the other popular pollen tracking app). The map is fantastic for travelers especially. However, I’m bummed that there isn’t a complication for Apple Watch, at least not one that I can find. Something that would show the current pollen count or level. Above and beyond would be infograph complication support to show the current and forecast counts (like weather). That would make it above and beyond the best pollen app out there.

Needs iPad Widget. If the app had a widget that i could use on my iPad, it would be perfect.

Liking so far.... I really like how simple the app is. No fluff needed. I would like to see a widget on my iPhone so it makes it that much easier to use the app.
