It is ok. I got introduced to this app from my friend after i was using it for a while (not a while kinda) i realized there was a camera limit (i dont really know what to say)

Goodish PLEASE READ ALL. Okay so it is a good app and all but what I didn’t know when I was going to it I would have of certain amount of scans then you have to buy premium to keep scanning. I deleted it because it is kind of a waste of money for me right now but IT IS A GOOD APP if you don't mind using a few bucks on it. Overall it does what it says it will do and is a good app.

Scammy …. When you download the app it’s all free. Once you start the app you have to purchase a plan in order to use the app. That means you can’t find out if you like the app unless you buy a subscription. They offer a free week. I used that option to then realize it didn’t provide me a FREE WEEK at all. They bagged the whole year despite me cancelling the subscription within 5 min.

Terrible scam. It doesn't recommend an actual replacement for the products you currently use, and you have a short free trial and then they start charging you an absurd amount ($7/week).

Easy to use. Downloaded this for fun after testing out another app and having to pay to search. This was easy to use, I am laughing though. I’m an esthetician & searched for medical grade skin care products. It said they were all bad. I look through the recommendations & a few other drugstore brands. What did I find? They all had good ratings. LOL 😂😂 good thing it won’t influence me but could easily get others.

Onskin is a lifesaver!. Onskin helped me make sense of all confusing skincare products on the market. I’ve been using it for the past few weeks and it’s made shopping for beauty products so much easier!! Now, it’s like I’m in a different world with all these amazing recommendations and options! It’s also good to know that those recommendations are unbiased and this app doesn’t partner with any brands. The on-demand analysis of beauty products is incredibly helpful, it scans the ingredients in a product and gives me an overall rating on how safe it is. It’s really given me peace of mind when buying cosmetics and I would highly recommend this app!

Disappointed. I wasn't aware that you had to have a subscription to use, im not going to go through with the free trial because that'll be a headache to have to remember to get rid of on time. When I saw in app purchases I was assuming that it would be similar to Yuka and would only charge for special privileges like item look ups and what not, not for paying for the ability to use the app period. Deleting now.

Doesn’t seem to actually analyze some products. Scanned a few items in the store and only one came up with a rating and the other two have been analyzing for 24 hours now.

Great free app but not perfect. When I scan products, it tells me what ingredients are not safe , but when I look at the product, that ingredient isn’t even listed on the product?

Not accurate. Not accurate. I looked up a few products and there would be 2 exact products, one larger size one smaller size and the products would both have a different score but be the exact same product?? Doesn’t make sense.

I know nothing about skin care but this is so helpful!!. I know absolutely nothing about skin care so this app has been a lifesaver for me. Not only does it tell you whether it is recommended to buy but It tells you the reasons why you should or shouldnt so I’m starting to familiarize myself with products that I should and should not have, and then ingredients in them that I need to steer clear of.

Onskin app. I love this app! It’s such a nice app to see what’s good for your skin and what’s poor quality, you can get personalized recommendations for your skin and do a little survey on your skin type, skin color, skin quality. It’s such an nice cute little app!! I truly recommend!! 𑁍

BYOMA. I tested all of my BYOMA and they were all 90 out of 100%. I love this app so much it help me see what I was putting on my skin and I hope to get more of it because it’s so amazing.

Doesn’t show correct product. Since my skin has been much better, I thought I was using good products until I use this app. I learned not everything I was using, good. Now I scan products to use for my baby & for me which made easier to buy stuff. However, there was lots of product when I scan it, it don’t show the correct one even if I look up, it doesn’t show the one I’m looking for but something similar so it makes me have lil doubt on the app, If it’s accurate? or not. One thing I like about this app is that it recommends something better we could use. Also it would be nice if we could make the picture bigger to see the product better.

Grate app. I spent years fighting breakouts and I’m happy to see my skin getting better (finally!!). With this app it’s easy to check how safe the ingredients are, which I always do before buying a new product

Great but not perfect.. Every app is great but not perfect and this one is really good. The only reason I say it is not perfect is because it doesn’t have every product I’d like to see on it. And it’ll be “analyzing” for days and I’m still waiting on it. Otherwise it is amazing and has changed how I have seen products safety since I’ve been using it. It does great at showing me the products and there breaking down of the product’s ingredients. Overall it’s a phenomenal app that I use in my life.

This app is great, but…. Do you have to pay for it? This would be so amazing and it’s some of the sensitive skin. I love this app it is easy to use although I only wish they gave you customized recommendations to help you find what skin care and hair care works for you. You also have to pay for it and it’s like 46 bucks a year so I don’t know

New level of self-care. I’m thrilled to have discovered this app. I checked every single product I was using and it turned out most of them were not good. How easily I was tricked by beautiful campaigns of popular brands 😭 From now on, I’m going to check everything before buying with this app. Throwing away money on harming myself was so stupid. And I’m blown away with the fact that SO MANY products contain harmful ingredients. I told my friends about this app so they can watch out as well. They’re obsessed. Unfortunately, not all products could be scanned but I really hope over time more and more of them will be possible to check. Thanks for this great app! ❤️

Incredible app!. I was really excited when I found this app during my pregnancy. I was really concerned about whether or not the ingredients in my skincare were safe for my growing baby and OnSkin was sooo helpful in helping me figure that out! It was super easy to use and gave me so much helpful information. 10/10 would recommend.

Easy to use & provides helpful information. I’ve really been enjoying this app. As a makeup enthusiast I’ve had several products I had no idea were bad for me. Even if a product is not in their list, you send them a picture of the item with ingredients and I’ve gotten results within a few days. There is so much bad stuff in things we think are safe, just because of where they are being sold, but I’ve come to find out the beauty industry is poorly regulated, so this app helps me make more informed decisions on what and where I’m putting my hard earned money towards.

This app is inaccurate!. It almost always gets the product wrong and mistakes it for another. Many products aren’t even on here. And how is cerave bad for you, many dermatologists recommend it.

Super🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼. My teenage daughter has acne-prone skin, now she never buys a moisturizer without checking in this app if any of the ingredients can cause her breakouts🙌🏼

Not very accurate. When scanning the barcode, you have to compare all the ingredients to the actual label on the product. Most of the time they do not match. You have to manually search the product until you finally find the right one. Unfortunately, I did not realize until after I had already thrown away some products, because the app gave them a “bad” rating for having hazardous ingredients. I cancelled the subscription and removed the app from my phone.

Not worth the download. If you’re trying to see a rating of a product in store before buying, its best to scan the product, go home, then go back to the store in a week. I scanned two different products and its been over 24 hours and it is still stuck in “Analyzing.”

Get this off the App Store. Good idea but had a terrible experience, I signed up for the free trial but they charged me for the yearly $50 fee luckily I was able to cancel this through paypal. The worst part is the fact that I tried to scan two products while having the subscription one is still analysing after about 3 months! And the other finally gave me a rating after 3 months of analysing. The rating it have me is very different to online as well so who do I trust here the terrible app or online

Useless app. Doesn’t show a lot of products that are good, poor worse/bad for you, wouldn’t recommend. Would recommend this as a free app, however it’s a subscription and not worth its price.

onskin nightmare. this app is terrible. i got a 1 week free trial and cancelled it 3 days before the trial period ended because the app wasn’t meeting my needs. even with a cancelled subscription it charged me for a yearly subscription and is still trying to take money out of my account. this has resulted in me not being able to download any apps or make any purchases on my phone due to me not paying for whatever it is trying to charge me. horrible app seems like a scam to me.

Limited scans…. I really wanted to love this app. When I first got it, I really liked it as I could scan the barcode of any product it just take a picture if the full size product. I wanted to use it in the shops before purchasing skincare but I decided to scan some things I had at home. After about 20 product scans it asked me to buy premium to get more scans. So now I can’t use this app because I have no scans left.

Bad. I have products that I know are great and they sad it was bad but worst of all the app is hard to scan and hard to use do not use this app it is a scam.

Needs a larger database but otherwise it’s good. The whole reason I got this app was to see if “Kind collective” had any nasty chemicals in it due to it being a cruelty free brand supporting women. I wanted to see if it could check all the boxes. Unfortunately it’s not in the database yet since it didn’t show up when I searched for it manually. I hope to see this brand included soon so I can use guilt and cruelty free products.

Makes me pay for the free trial. 3 days ago I downloaded this app, I used it only one day to check 3 products and now they are making me pay 8.99 while on a free trial. The app is good but making me pay for a free trial is wrong…

Expensive. Cancelled the free trial a day early and was still billed, the app is nice otherwise

Actually really good. Usually a lot of apps like this make you pay but if you push the x on the top left corner then you can bypass it. Also gives you recommended products to use! Would definitely recommend.

Very Informative!. OnSkin is such a quick and easy app to use! I didn’t realize how many ingredients went into my cosmetics until I discovered this app! Definitely worth a try to test and see what ingredients you’re putting on your skin, and if it’s safe or harmful!

Misleading Information. This app advertises a free trial, however, I was charged immediately for the subscription. The actual information provided in this app regarding products is misleading and directly contradicts dermatological recommendations. I canceled it immediately and filed for a refund through Apple but was denied. Beyond displeased! Do not recommend!

Ingredients often wrong. I compared the list of ingredients on the actual product and they were often wrong. Not sure how reliable this is.

Honest review. I really like this app however their is a lot of duplicates and some missing or have the wrong ingredient added. I always have to double check the product and that defeats the purpose of the AI. IF they take all duplicates and ensure the ingredients are indeed correct, then this app would be perfect.

I dont know if you should use this app. I used this app on some products that I use٫ plus they are advanced and are recommended by dermatologists but it said they were poor products. Just for fun I used it on gold bond٫ and Aquaphor٫ but it said they were poor products

I’m good on the monthly fee. I don’t personally believe that anyone uses so many cosmetic products that they should have to pay a monthly fee for this app. Also, there is an app called Yuka and it’s 100% free and it allows you to scan not only cosmetics but any food items as well. It is far superior. Safe shopping everyone♥️

If your desperate. If your desperate to find cosmetics that are good for your skin then by all means go ahead but if your not then don’t get this app it deeply upset me and now most of my skincare is gone because of it. I hope your experience turns out better than mine.

MAD MAD. i was told on trhe app it was free it let me scan about 8-10 items before asking to pay for the app i thought it was just for some premum thing but no i clicked the ex on the corner of the screen and then i aas about to go scan some more items but then i asked me to pay for the app another time so everytime i go to scan another item it ask me to pay

Good but needs improvement. It’s a good app and I take its advice, but when I do the skin test, every-time it says that it’s a match, which humanly isn’t possible. I like the ingredient part rating, especially if you like clean skincare products.

Didn’t even get to try this app. So when I found out about this app I downloaded it thinking it would be good and all. But then I didn’t even get to try the scanner because it makes you pay for the APP! AMAZING. This is a great app it’s free and it helped me figure out why my skin was still dry after I used many products that where supposed to help dry skin. This app helped me find what is best for my skin and now my skin is glowing!

Absolutely horrible. So I downloaded it and scanned some of my products that I knew for a fact were good and it just kept on showing me low numbers. Also you only get a limited amount of scans which I think is absurd. For more scans you can sign up and pay however much it is. It’s just the worst skincare app I have ever seen.

Noooo just Noooo. It’s is bad and I know someone who tests skincare and makeup products and some of the products they tested was a good skincare and then the app said it was not good and I trust someone i know over a AI app, it’s not good it not worth it and it’s a waste of time and it only lets you scan five products and then you have to buy the premium and it’s not worth it. Don’t WASTE YOUR TIME.
