Cool app. I had this wild-looking rock, snapped a pic, and bam! Identified. My rock collection just got way cooler!

Terrible. Gave me a diamond answer for my Moldavite. I used natural lighting and latest iPhone camera.

5 stars. Identified stones in my yard in seconds, really easy to use. Love this app

This is not a free app.. You responded that you offer a free version of the app with certain limitations. I don’t want to email you. The free version should be easily identifiable and access to it not hidden. Fix that.

Not good. This app was terrible kept saying diamond and gold it’s not even close!!!

Will charge you no matter what. Used the free 3 day trial. Cancelled the subscription same day. They continued to charge me for weeks after that.

I like it but…. I like it however, I’m not sure how accurate it is, the first one I took was iron stained quartz but the color was of from what it showed but over all I like and I’m happy I found but creator who made try to make it I little more accurate.

Not accurate. After trying different times, couldn’t read my rock. I have a moldative and can’t even recognize the name if i type it.

Inaccurate Results!!!!’.. I’m a rock hound and took great photos of basic specimens I have like amethyst, fluorite and several others and except for citrine every result was wrong. I want my money back!!!!

Not working or operator error?. Keep taking clear shots of a turquoise ring however I just keep getting a message that says to place an object inside the box, which I clearly did and nothing happens

Multiple scans, all wrong. I’m using this for identifying rocks to polish. Every time I scan a rock it gives me a bizarrely wrong response (eg. Says a dark, igneous rock is quartz). Not reliable and not useful. ChatGPT would probably do a better job.

Couldn’t find a rock it could identify. Tried several samples in raw, cracked, and polished form and all identifications were wildly off. E.g. an open and clear piece of gneiss with pink, black and quartz clearly exposed was identified as a piece of ceramic tile - literally a piece of white ceramic tile. The similarly named Rock Identifier has about a 70% success rate for me.

Was recommended to me. I kept getting recommended for this app, so I downloaded it tried it myself and it doesn’t tell you if it’s real or fake it’s a scam. If you want to have fun with it that’s all you can do don’t recommend it

Not good. Didn’t identify almost all of my crystals and I had like 16 that’s ridiculous

Not accurate. Checked my GIA certified diamond and it says it’s cubic zirconia because it’s internally flawless🤣unless my jeweler secretly swapped it out, the app has to be wrong.

Ridiculous. When I try to take my fourth photo, it says that I need to pay 19.99 a month which is ridiculous!!!!

Not good for gems. The integrated camera in this app is horrible, takes a very out of focus picture for small gems which make them impossible to identify. Might be ok for larger rocks, but not gemstones.

Its good but its wrong. I gave this a 3star review because first I did rainbow quartz it said titanium aura,next I did opal it said a random rock name

A little iffy. I collect gem stones and do shows, and I have found a few stones that I wanted to confirm on what type of stone it was. I had a raw cut lapis Lazuil, but It told me it was a sedimentary rock, so I wanted to test the product. I grabbed a rock I know is red jasper, but it told me it was carnelian. I would not trust it. Positive note, it give a lot of information about Rick’s, but the pictures does not match both times I attempted. Maybe the app was having a off day.

App not so good. Some rocks are identified incorrectly. Larimar, for instant, is not in the list. Other rocks, which I know what the stones are, get identified as something else. Rip-off

Does this app really work?. I just want to know how accurate this app really is. I have so many rocks I’ve found out at my family’s country house but I’m not sure how accurate this is with identifying the rocks I find.🤔

Engagement ring, second ring was a Ruby. Saying my engagement ring is cubic zirconia—it’s certified diamond. Ruby came up as diamond. Maybe rocks on the ground are more identifiable. It did not work for me

Rock ID stone identifier. The first stone I identified was a $5000 insured blue diamond. It identified it as a Topaz 2nd Ring was my wedding ring with 10 diamonds. It was identified as zirconium!!

Horrible…. I attempted to identify at least 20 different rocks, minerals, stones etc… and this app was wrong on every single one. I have a obvious piece of petrified wood and it said it was a thunder egg…. I may not be a expert in identifying this stuff but i know enough to know that this is not the app to use if you want accuracy…

They just want you to upgrade your membership. I tried about 10 rocks and somehow this genius app decided that all of them were flint, every time. Eventually i guess I ran out of free runs with it and wouldn’t show me the rock unless I upgraded my membership. Overall this is a waste of time and irritated me to actually write a review. Take that as you will.

Trash app. First, it says it's free, but then demands you pay. Then, it identified a moqui marble (dense iron concretion as quartz. Utterly worthless for identifying minerals.

More like a false identifier. I’ve been a rock collector all my life and learned from my granddad and this app is very un accurate period an app can not identify a rock a gem stone like a human eye I don’t recommend downloading

Worst app ever. I bought the app, it would let me take pictures of the crystals and then did nothing. Trying to get your money back is a joke. Don’t waste your time, has to be one of the worst apps I’ve ever purchased. It gives you nothing.

lol. App is a joke, saying white diamonds are black obsidian. Said a natural ruby was a brown quartz… My favorite was it said my other white diamond was AMBER. lol 🤣

Is not accurate at all. It is a great idea in theory, but their delivery blows.

My rating. I like this app but the main reason I downloaded it was so it would tell me it’s value for free and it doesn’t do that and I want to know how much it costs because when I look it up on safari or google it doesn’t give me a clear answer

Doesn’t work can’t even identify. This app tells me my tourmaline is an amethyst and you have to audacity to ask for payment.

Bad. This app is not very good. most of the rocks it identified were very wrong. I can't believe you have to pay for this.

No trial. I downloaded this to try as a free trial and it charges by $50. The app identified my dog as a rock.

Terrible app. This app is identifying jelly beans, and people as different types of rock. So it is very, very inaccurate. I am going to delete my app and would like a refund

Incorrect identification. The same picture returned different results. Also inaccurately identified as non-magnetic while the stone is actually very magnetic!

Does not work. I downloaded this app, and tested it on Crystals I have to see if it would accurately match. Not only did it not match it was WAYYYY off. It identified moonstone (white with black spots) as moss agate( completely green). Terrible.

Too Blurry. That is the only identification I got. Tried different backgrounds, better lighting, etc. Does not work
