American Mensa Brain Test Comments & Reviews 2026
Fun for a little while, but..... Repeated questions are really annoying. I think half the point of an IQ test is seeing how well you can answer questions you've never seen before. Once you see how the answer is achieved it is easier to answer questions of the same type, which does not mean you are smarter. There are only a few types of questions here, once you know how to solve them the whole test is easy. That said, there are a number of weird arithmetic problems that are plenty solvable with enough time (just mess around with various combinations of adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, permutating digits, etc) but they are unlike any questions I've seen before on an IQ test and they seem especially out of place on a timed test. They mostly test if you are lucky enough to find the correct string of operations in a short amount of time than they test problem solving and pattern recognition. These are the hardest problems, but I'm sure once I see or find the solutions to them they will be just as easy as everything else on here.
Clearly not made by geniuses. This app has a ton of potential. The 5-minute, 5-question tests are fun but are severely limited in content. I’ve seen the same questions over and over on future tests. They don’t even bother changing the numbers for math related questions. So as soon as you see a question you’ve done before you will likely already know the answer. The correct answers breakdown is also flawed. They show you the correct answer but not what you actually selected. So you might not actually remember which answer you selected. If they added more variety and improved some of the limitations this would be a great app to kill time and challenge yourself intellectually.
Far outdated with no landscape function. Any app that can’t spend the minimal effort it takes to function in landscape mode and accommodate a huge number of potential audience/customers, automatically receives 1 star until this very basic issue is resolved. Plus, one of the training examples has a clear error in it and provides the wrong answer.
Useless and Unrealistic. These questions are very disimilar to the actual mensa test. The questions, in particular, finding the next number in a sequence, are frustrating, because they are not that complicated on the actual Mensa test, and there’s no rationale behind which pattern they’re choosing. They set them up in a particular way and you are left to try a million possible variations of equations (prime numbers?, multiplying?, subtracting?, divining?, a combined?, and finally one that had you add the first two numbers and then subtract the third number, but with the digits reversed...really?!) and hope that you find the right one that lines up with their logic. That’s not measuring your IQ, it’s just hoping that you get lucky and figuring out what kind of zany pattern they’re coming up with. There are literally thousands of possibilities and you could spend all your time going in the complete wrong direction. Very poor test and completely unrealistic to Mensa standards.
Better use of time than the average game. Answers to what I got wrong would be nice. However, then they would have to add more questions.....
bad app. really bad
AAAARRRRRRGH!. Great app except for the same complaint everyone else has: it won't show you what you got wrong or an answer key so can learn how to solve a type of question. So incredibly frustrating. I can save the screen on my phone and go back and solve it later at my own pace, but it would be nice to have a solution guide. I hope the developers read the same criticism over and over from different folks and take heed!
A good brain stimulator and aggravator.. I hope they continue development with new content. It called me a bright spark <3
Love it!!!. This app has helped access brain cells I forgot I had! It's been a few years since school and am hoping to take their written exam in the future, but I definitely needed to jolt up there to get back into processing information in this fashion. The questions are limited but it's more about knowing how to get the answer not remember the answer cause it's already cycled through. Thank you MENSA for offering this app for those of us that need just a little bit of brain boost!
I wish they have option for culture fair test. As a none English native speaker I found it’s difficult to answer vocabulary questions. I know Mensa USA has option to take cultural fair test (meaning no vocabulary question), and I wish this app has the settings where user can configure it to cultural fair or not.
Please update your app for 64-bit. Your app is no longer supported in iOS 11. Please update your app.
Pretty good. Entertaining for sure. 2 things could improve app: 1. An explanation of the correct answer on a wrong selection - but space in the app probably makes that impossible. 2. The'Training' is irrelevant. Each actual test has approx 15% - 20% word problems; each training test has approx 80% word problems. There are not enough updates - take a test every day or two and very soon it is mostly the same questions repeating themselves.
Paid for it and downloaded it doesn’t even open. I paid for the app and downloaded it. When you tap on the icon, it opens for half a second and shots. Cannot access it.
Scores are skewed and do not reflect ones actual IQ. I usually don't write reviews, but I felt obligated to write one for this application so other people won't be deceived by this app. After you finish a test, the app does not tell you what you got wrong, or what percentage you got, only a certificate that tells you what your "Brain Test score" is, which you shouldn't confuse with your IQ score. The Brain Test scores are skewed to reflect a higher IQ score. The actual IQ test is scaled so that the scores form a normal distribution curve with a standard deviation of 15 and the mean at 100. This means that a score of 130 should indicate that you are in the 95% percentile, and a score of 132 (which is also the approximate entrance score for Mensa) means that you are in the 98% percentile. Even though I am normally tested to have an IQ of 125 or so, my "Brain Test score" was a 150, which is twice the standard deviations away from the mean (note: a factor of two in standard deviations is huge). Being skeptical about my score and the test, I redid the test picking the first answer each time. Surprisingly enough (not really), my score was a 68, which is less standard deviations away from the mean than my previous score. Assuming the Brain Test score is equal to one's IQ, that means that for every person with the same score as me, there are hundreds of people scoring lower than if they took the test without looking at the questions. I find this very hard to believe. On the positive note, since I am not actually as cynical as I may seem, some of the training questions are pretty nice, until you start seeing the same questions from previous tests over and over again. This app is also pretty aesthetically pleasing and good at boosting your self esteem.
I love this App! Worth the cost!. I play this app all the time. Although it is a little pricey it is fun.
Some questions do not have a correct answer. Example : 2 brown bread loaves + 2 white loaves = 4.80 2 white loaves = 2 pasties = 3.80 1 white loaf + 1 pastie = 3.20 ..... bottom equation doesn’t compute answers left we’re a pasty costs 0.80 and above.... Needs to rework its logic. A lot of the answers have no basis at all. Some do or are approximations.
Repeats problems. The training mode just continually repeats problems you’ve already solved or attempted and already know the solutions to, so it’s pretty much useless.
OUTSTANDING!!!!!!. OUTSTANDING App!!!! I will buy any educational app you develop. This app is PERFECTION And has become my very favorite app (and I have a 128-GB iPad filled with apps). Thank you!!! I am learning a ton!!!!
Graduate Student - Math. I should mention something to those who criticize this as "not a valid IQ test." You're right, and it's not meant to be. It's meant to be a fun logic puzzle game, which allows you to practice verbal, spatial, and quantitative reasoning in a way that does not give anyone an unfair advantage when actually taking an official IQ test, such as the Mensa entrance test. This is why they call it "brain test," rather than "IQ test." Just have fun trying to figure everything out, and see how high up on the score board you can get. Try to find new efficient methods to solve problems that you already know the answers to if you figure everything out (btw, it is incredibly time consuming to figure out every answer, so that is a challenge, in and of itself.) Just have fun, and always take an imperfect score as a positive experience, as it allows you to discover new ways to improve your logical reasoning.
Can’t load. I cannot get the game to open. Support is not answering my query. I want my money back.
Needs iOS updates version. ... for the 64 bit architecture coming in iOS 11.
The app didn’t open at all!!. The app doesn’t open on my IPhone 11 and Ipad pro 12.9 inch(4th)
Snooze fest. Constant recurring questions Not worth the money
review questions are repeated with astonishing frequency. every 5 question review test will repeat at least one question from the previous review. one gets the sense there is a pool of less than 50 ?? question to sample from?
Brain games.. I really enjoy the tests but wish you would show the correct answers after the tests and explain them so we could understand what we did wrong .
Good. Wish it had more questions so that the test wouldn't become repetitive
Does not open. This app charges but doesn’t even open. I use apple phone.
The point of it. I actually like the fact that the correct solutions are not shown or explained or even indicated in your answers. I am aware of the questions that I do not have a correct answers for. I guess that what makes us different is the ability to recognize the patterns and extrapolate. The language portion is pretty easy and English is not my first language.
App doesn't open. App just opens and crashes
Immediately crashes. Can’t even open the app. Waste of money.
App crashes immediately. App crashes immediately upon load and Apple won’t refund it
Not worth $1.99. Per previous reviews, this app/game is frustrating. No feedback as to what you got wrong or right, so who knows if your score is based on the puzzles you thoughtfully figured out, or the ones you frantically chose as time ran out?? 🤷🏻♀️ I am a member of Mensa, and qualified by taking the official Mensa test, so I thought I would really enjoy playing games on this app... but, alas, I wasted $1.99. Maybe the other Mensa app I saw is meant to be more fun... (FYI, I recommend ordering the official practice test from Mensa if you want to get a more accurate idea of what to expect from the admissions test)
no results no sound off option. There is nothing that tells you what the correct answers are to the actual tests you take. so you have a score, but no way to learn from it. Also - you have no idea where you are or what your “score” means. Furthermore, you cannot turn off the sound.
Waste of money. The app couldn’t start on iOS 18.
App doesn’t even open. iOS 17.0, app opens for a second and immediately closes. Pls refund I paid 1.99 for this
APP DOES NOT WORK WANT REFUND. This app does not work give me my money back
Please let me see what questions I answered incorrectly!!. How can one learn when you don't have a clue which questions you answered correctly and which ones you did not answer correctly?? It's useless. The pre-test questions let you see the answers - and I love the "Why" option - I've learned a lot. I would give it five stars but I can't do that.
$2 and all it does is crash.. $2 and all it does is crash.
The app won’t even open on my iPhone 13. I just paid two USD and the app don’t even open on my phone. It just goes in and clicks out.
Want my money back — UI is so dated and barely compatible. Advertising this paid app on your website in the year 2025 feels wrong. Please either update the UI or make it free. This app was built for an iPhone 4.
App Keeps Crashing. I had this app for a while and I paid for it. I can no longer use it on IOS 18. I am really sad. Can you please fix it?
App Won’t Open. I just downloaded this app and payed the $2 for it because the online Mensa test wasn’t working I guess, and now the app closes immediately after I opened it. Maybe cus it’s old? I don’t know but not great.
Nice concept, but could use improvement. There are not enough questions to choose from. I keep seeing the same questions from previous tests reappearing. Ideally, there should be so many questions that the chance of that happening would be very slim. The training mode allows you to see which questions you got wrong at the end and offers a "why" button on the upper right to give an explanation. The actual tests do not. I wish the actual tests also had this feature. A few of the questions seem to be testing on knowledge rather than reasoning. For example, there was a question asking how many degrees are in an angle of an octagon. Although you could hypothetically figure that out with reasoning alone, that question would be biased in favor of someone who actually learned that recently. Also, some of the questions can be solved using equations that we learned in middle school but may have forgotten by now. I also would not recommend this test to non-native English speakers because they may not know some of the vocabulary words in the verbal portion of the test (and they will lose time looking it up).
App does not open after download. Do not waste your money.. No resolution. Will not open on phone.
Good but needs work. The app is good and worth getting but there are some aggravating features about it. 1. Practice test repeated same question very very often. 2. Because of number 1 it makes you want to just practice with real tests but the real tests offer no summary like the practice tests do. So you have no way to find out which questions you got wrong and no "why" button so you can learn what you did wrong. Because of the above the app ends up being less useful than I was hoping. Hope they can adjust these problems.
Fun. Good waste of 20mins
Don’t buy. The app constantly crashes. You can’t even open it. Clearly not being updated, and there is no support.
Lame. Take the test but nothing to help you figure out how to improve score. Becomes a waste of time
App doesn’t work. Downloaded the app and paid for it but doesn’t open. As soon as you click on it opens and goes away. Such a waste of money.
Doesn’t work.. I could not run the app on my iPhone which it iOS is the latest version.

Challenging. Would be great to see explanations of problems after one of the tests, though.
Four stars. One of the better quiz apps I have seen. I think I need to practice the number type questions as I have no idea what I am doing!
Ok but.... It's interesting and it's a great way to get my brain started in the morning but it doesn't tell you which questions you got wrong when you do the full test, or why you got them wrong. So I keep guessing on the same questions because I dont know how to figure out the answer and that bugs me. I want to known where I went wrong so I can get better. But it's a good way to start the morning
Tougher than other IQ Tests. It's coop to be able to say I got 151 in a Mensa rest, haha. The only issue here is that I have encountered many of the same questions repeatedly. And that of course lends to the reason why you can't see your answers after a test...because if you did, chances are they will repeat almost immediately and you'll know the answer. So basically more questions will solve that plus give people a challenge going forward.
Mensa a big stretch. A great app! I wish there was more choice in the training tho as u quite often get repeat questions. Love how in the training that they explain the answer. Wd b great if they did that in the tests too.
It was okay(:. It was an ok app(: results kept varying though! May reflect on the reliability of this test itself. I just got into mensa and bought this app on a whim. The first test I scored 150 while the 2nd was 76. And some of the ques given were not similar to the test I took. Rather diff(: but overall it was a relatively awesome app:D!
Accurate. Having sat the certified Mensa IQ Test, (amongst others), I found this App accurate, scoring me within 2 points of said certified test. I would recommend this as a warm-up for anyone considering sitting the Mensa. It's easy to pick those who scored low in the test as they're the ones lashing out with poor ratings. Sorry guys but knee jerk reactions to nurse that bruised ego isn't going to raise that IQ. Try sitting the test regularly instead. LOL.
Fun app!. Could do with a larger variety of questions. The questions do all make sense and anyone expecting more then an IQ test are kidding themselves.
Good. I like to improve my skills and this game puts my mind to the test. This game would be better if you could see where you went wrong in The final results. Further explaining the formula required to solve problem.
Fatal bug. This is a great app but half the time when i tap to end the test it crashe and i dont get a score! Its so annoying. You need to fix this asap!!
Great Game. To everyone who asks for more questions, if it is the official Mensa app it should just have the official test questions, not just some new made up ones cause you're bored
Simply great brain exercise application.. Fantastic application. I have failed the test interview for the big property company, after practicing on Mensa I have achieved results of 140. Great brain exercise. Loved it.
Good app. Great test of the mind but needs more variety in the questions to be a true test.
Good fun. Good fun, and challenging. However, the same questions get repeated too often and over time you can grow in ranking without growing in brain power.
Keep trying. The first time I did it on the couch with a glass of wine in hand, scored 99. I then did it first thing in the morning when my mind was fresh and got 139 which is close to where I have scored on other tests. So if you get a low score first time, keep trying and remember, someone has to get the average for there to be an average score.
Brain exercise. A fun way to exercise the brain. Could be less repetition of the same questions however as this makes it easier to score more highly.
Great app. This is a great, nice and challenging, I'm 14 and I got 127 which means it isn't too hard, but I was getting 90's before and I'd been doing a lot of training which shows that it gives it away a bit... Great app though!
Could this App leave a sour taste?. If your ever planning on doing a Mensa test, or any other IQ test. Eg. Work place assessment, then get this App. Might I suggest, if you get a low IQ score try again latter. Don't take it to heart and give this App a low review!!!
Challenging. But starting to get repetative
Update. I'm unsure of the new update. Training now offers the answers to many of the questions that appear in the tests. Yet to say the least the global leader board was a great idea.
A good start. I enjoy using this app but feel that a few improvements could be made. The training could have a wider range of questions. Repeating the same question allows the answer to be memorised, but a number of similar but different questions would help the concept to be understood. It would also be helpful to to have the option to train in a particular area - number, logic, language etc. The feedback during training is useful; it would be great to get similar feedback and explanations after a test. If the app could respond intelligently to weaknesses revealed through the tests and focus training sessions on developing strength in these areas, this could become a powerful learning tool!
Great app. This is a great app, only downfall is it does not go through and explain where you went wrong🐨
Matt. An OK app but 'training' question base is too small - very repetitive.
Why?. I really like this brain test, it's because you can tap Why? it's really useful for people who might not understand the questions! Was it $1 before? Because it think I got it for $1
Crash!. Seems it could be a fantastic app, however when you wade through the whole test only to have it crash when it goes to work out your score, it can be a bit frustrating!!
Great but more variety please. Enjoy it thoroughly although more variety in practice and test questions would be better. Also, would like to see test result answers.
Mensa pretty dumb. In principle this is a great app but, and it's a big BUT, there's no solutions on the tests and these's no way of knowing what answers are right or wrong. My score on the short test (20 questions in 20 minutes) was well above average but heavens knows what I got right and what I got wrong and what are the reasonings behind each answer. Pretty dumb app, which is pretty ironic considering.......
Great stimulus. To parrot so many others, needs to have answers/explanations available for the tests rather than jut the trial to move it to the fantastic level.
Feedback & variety please :). Great but I'd prefer more variety and also feedback as to which answers were incorrect and the methodology behind the answers (like the 5 question practice does)
Smart!!!. Great app to test your brain. Would like to know the answers though. Also, needs more random questions as it becomes a bit boring answering the same questions. Would also like to know how it works so we can better our scores. Is it time related and questions answered correctly? Do you need to attempt to answer all to get a higher score??? Anyway, a great app.
Fun test. Tests pattern recognition and math skills mainly. Fun to play, wish it had more questions, and some kind of help function to explain questions that you continually get wrong.
A fun way to compete against friends. For a $1.19 it's well worth it. This ap will give you at least a couple of hours of fun competition between you and your friends.
Wasted. The questions are not clear for ordinary people and this's not picture question for far. Wasted money time and energy.
Very very helpful but a guy got 999,999,999 points if you check the leaderboard.. That guy must be Asian gpt
Brain stimulating!!. Would be nice to review answer or at least see how many you got right. Repetitive practise questions, but a range of hard hard test questions!
Good idea. I love the idea of a brain training app, as do lots of people, this however is way too hard to keep me interested for so long! Clearly the market is there for a similar app just needs to be thought about a bit more!
Pretty good. It's a pretty standard IQ test. Only problem I can see is that the questions get recycled quite frequently. I was getting pretty consistent scores though, so that says something.
Pretty good. Some question get repeated but it is a well written app that is also fun to use.
Which ones did I get wrong????. Quite fun, except that without knowing which questions you got wrong, it cannot be a meaningful learning exercise. So the player needs to be able to swipe back through a completed test to see how they did on each question. Game needs a time-unlimited display for each question page which says 'Correct' or 'Wrong' or 'Unattempted'. Also, an option to eliminate the time limit when actually doing the quiz would be good for users who want to think for longer. A score penalty could be incorporated for this.
Ouch my brain hurts. Hurts my brain however the same questions keep popping too many maths questions otherwise fun to do
Terrible. There's a difference between puzzles and complete nonsense. The connections they make between the various circle and square symbols are ridiculously stupid and the only part of the test that requires some form of intelligence is the grammatical section where it says "blah is to blah as blah is to blah". All the rest of it is pattern recognition which apart from a little bit of brain power required is utterly useless and inaccurate at telling you any form of intelligence. Make a proper test app, Mensa.
Very nice. The app itself is well designed. I've never sat a MENSA test but I have done an IQ test and it was pretty close numbers. I have a lot of trouble with the number puzzles myself (the what number should replace the ? ones) so it would have been good to see more of those in the practice section. More variety of questions in general would be great for the next update.
Too many repeats. Good fun, but a lot of repeating questions. Would be nice to see what your score means on a global level. Test questions with the theory behind answers is good. Would like to see more of them though...or maybe another app just for training
Good fun. I don't know how seriously I would take it but it is amusing if you have a spare 20 mins. Some more variance with questions would be good. Maybe in the next update.
Mensa brain test. Good and challenging, but I wish I could understand some of the math problems better and I could view my answers
Good but limited. I have to say it is quite good but only for people who are good at maths. They are all logic questions but if your not good with numbers you will find yourself getting caught on some of the question. Dont be discouraged if you score badly, intelligence comes in many forms.
Nice if operating. Good app lol but doesn’t work cause developer won’t update it to iOS 11
Good. Is great. However. Repeat questions. A way to find out "why" the answer is what it is would be great in the testing area as it is in the practice exam
No answers provided. No answers provided, don’t waste your money
Excellent!. Loving this app. The ability to test myself with a MENSA certified IQ test whenever I want is in itself enough to make a top notch app. The addition of a training mode though, takes this up another notch. I'm always learning tips and tricks that change the way I look at puzzles... but there's just not enough. Ive played over a dozen training rounds and during this time I would be lucky to have encountered 20 different puzzles. An additional few dozen puzzles would make this a five star app, but until then i'll leave it at 4

Brain challenge. Would be better if you can see which answers are wrong and the right answers. Still, fun and challenging!
Good waste of time. Enjoyable and challenging, could benefit from larger question pool. No buyers remorse for me.
Fun!Fun!Fun!. Great way to keep your brain active and so much fun!
mensa brain test. poor. . .I expected much more from the folks at Mensa; same questions over and over, but no solutions; correctly answered all questions but one, very frustrating; I would say time (and money) well wasted, . . . I suppose I should say "well . . . wasted"
Good Tests, Would Like More Features. The tests are true to Mensa but the app is really basic. Would love more interactive tools
It crashes on open - doesn’t work at all.. Don’t buy this it doesn’t work.
Variety missing. The training repeats the same questions over and over - you memorize them after 2 rounds As for the test I would love to go back and learn the why as you can in the training
Won’t even open. The app literally crashes as soon as you try to open it. Completely unusable. What a waste of money.
Awesome app!. This is great! Now i dont have to worry about a test!!
Mensa brain test. Not bad.
Not a culturally fair IQ test. Questions are loaded so that people with a classical education are ranked high. A question like "if you using a 52 card pack of cards and pick an ace, what are you chances of picking another ace". Answers given: 1/13; 1/169; 1/225; and another one I can't quite remember - clearly the answer is 1/13 (or close to) because there is a presupposition that the deck has been reset without the first ace; but you could read into it that this is an overall chance; the question wording can be confusing if you are not careful. Also, their grammar questions are unusually hard using synonyms or words that may be related through a thesaurus as their answer choices. Only one is definitively right while the rest are close in meaning. Again, only classical intelligence is being tested here. STAY CLEAR OF THIS APP as it is not a culturally fair IQ test.
Mensa. Très bon.stimulant et distrayant
Fun App. Fun App
Decent test. Fun and challenging, but eventually becomes repetitive.
Challenging and ever changing!. I enjoy how the questions are always different!
Great ap!. Keeps me on my toes while keeping my mind sharp! Love it!
Tough, but fun. It's not an impossible set of tests, and it is rewarding when you do answer them. There will be quite a few 'ah ha' moments as you discover the patterns. The training feature does grease the wheels a little bit before you jump into the full tests. It is worth completing a few of those before beginning. I definitely plan on using this App plenty if times.
Marty D.. This seems to really be based on Mensa questions. It doesn't hold your hand or mollycoddle you. You will never see the answers or any hints. It's an honest way to find your true IQ. The questions are random and, although you can repeat the test over, you won't always get the same ones. They have a warehouse full. Your score can go up or down each time you take it. My hint: once you take it several times, your IQ will go up! It's absolutely excellent !
Enjoyable. Fun and challenging. It could use more variety in the training questions though.
Great app - well worth the price. Although questions do repeat after some time, the level and variety are perfect. It's what you would expect from a mensa book turned app that costs only a buck.
Good stuff. Good quiz, but it should have more questions in it. If you do the three tests, you will surely see some questions more than once. As for accuracy, it states pretty much the same number than other good tests.
Needs more questions. Needs more questions, and answers as to how questions are solved
GREAT APP!. If you love math, sequences, and problem solving, this is a great app for you! I hurt my ankle and held down the couch for weeks, and this was my favourite app for killing time in a stimulating way. In the short training exercises, the answers are supplied, which has been helpful in preparing for the main tests. It is unfortunate you cannot access answers for the main tests also. I was able to gradually increase my scores by writing out the problems that I couldn't solve on scrap paper. I could then try to solve them on my own time.
Repetitive. Does not show what questions were wrong or why they are wrong...would be nice...
Answers aren't right. Some answers I know are right but it says are wrong. Wish there was more questions too.
Good app. Really like this
Mensa. Challenging !!! But god brain work out
Awesome test.. Great test. Must have a different way of thinking.
Very well done!. Just beautiful.
Great. Good questions
Paid app only crashes. I paid money and the app won’t open. Give me a refund. iPhone 15 Pro Max so don’t blame the phone.
Decent app. Good fun. Initially more useful before memorization starts to kick in. Learning how to apply the same logic or thought process in other ways seems to be vastly more useful though.
Good reference point.... Having joined Mensa, there was still no number value assigned... pretty much because few people in the organization care. However, I had specific reasons for wanting to know. This app in particular provided numbers I could trust. I can verify that the questions are typical of ones you might find on the official entry exams. Of course, any one test is not a perfect measure. Be sure to try the short, medium AND long versions of the test. My feeling is that 3 attempts at each one, taken over a period of a couple of months, then averaging all the results, will give you the best idea. And hey... if you score 130 or higher on this, take the official test and maybe we'll see you at an event! :) The one thing the app doesn't do that the official testing does, is allow for people who's first language isn't English. If it did, 5 stars.
Adsterra is the most preferred ad network for those looking for an alternative to AdSense. Adsterra is the ideal choice for new sites with low daily traffic. In order to advertise on the site in Adsterra, like other ad networks, a certain traffic limit, domain age, etc. is required. There are no strict rules. Sign up!
Fun app.. Some good puzzles. And the scoring at the end is suggestive of an IQ score, so it's suspenseful seeing how your score adds up. I only did the short test version and after three game started seeing repeat questions. Not bad in itself, but sort of undermines the notion that it's like an IQ test. Still, a fun way to keep your mind nimble.
Not bad. This is a laudable application with many vexing problems, but I feel there are too few questions and after taking only a few short tests I began to see many of the questions again.
Mensa. A nice challenge. I would like to see correct answers and less repeated questions.
Fun app.. Fun for a while, would like to see more questions as I saw MANY repeats in just 3 tests. Inspired me to buy a book of puzzles, but should have been a better alternative to a book of puzzles!
Fun. I enjoy figuring out the questions when I have a chance. It would be nice of they did show the wrong answers on the tests, so we can learn from the mistakes.
Interesting , may need to add more questions. Very good, low cost May need to add more questions and if possible give review of answers like training section for the actual test too
Inaccurate. Many of their word comparisons use inaccurate synonyms or antonyms of words, the number problems are predominantly based on finding one possible pattern out of several (and hoping you are fortunate enough to stumble onto theirs sooner than later), and based on familiarity and rote memorization far more than intelligence, If you have a high IQ, the fallacies are quite clear.
Fun. I love brain games and this is fun. I just wish after it gave your score it would tell you how you fall on the average score. I average 100 and think it's good but in reality it could be below average, idk. But all in all it's fun.
A lot of fun. I don't know how close to the real thing this is but it is a lot of fun for someone who likes a challenge through puzzles.
Not really 'training' if no explanations are offered. The Training section of the game doesn't appear to offer any guidance or explanations, even after you complete it & get answers wrong. Sure, I understand that no help is provided during the Test portion, but why call it Training if no hints are offered?
Needs answer key. Would rate this 5 stars if it provided an answer key at the end of a test (as every other practice IQ test does). Just showing the score gives me no way to know where I need to improve.
Entertaining!. Wish the programmers would give correct answers to my incorrect ones or /and show which ones that I missed! Feedback of test results should be more specific!
It has been a while.... I took this app for granted, thinking I remembered how to answer these questions. The questions are all easy... of sophomore high school or lower level. However, it is as if I rode a bike after a prolonged hiatus. It is coming back. Although, it seems I am a victim of too much immersion into the madding crowd.
Great idea, but needs more.... The idea behind this app is great. But it needs a couple of things. Please put in answer key; show me what I got wrong. Also, it needs more practice questions; I keep running into the same question. After those two things are added, I will change to a 5 Star rating.
Simply brilliant. Love this app... I wish there was also a tutor of some sort though so we could learn techniques to improve here.
Can I get my money back?. The question bank appears to be very limited. I am a Mensa member and scored a 66 on a test? Did I just guess well on the Mensa entrance exam? I would love to know how to solve those "what # should replace the ?" questions, but as others have pointed out, that feature is absent. Maybe there are no correct answers?
Great app.. I only wish that there were more than just five training problems given at a time. Otherwise, it is a great app.
Fun, however... The mathematical questions are not a good indicator of intelligence. For example; I can understand calculus concepts quite well but I am still unable to do simple math in my head.
Some Problems. I'd like to have explanations for the test questions and a basic analysis of my intelligence. I also would like a little more variation witht the Training questions.
Cool App. I dunno if it's an official Mensa test, but the questions get easier with practice. I score 150 on the tests on my bad days. Seems a little too easy. Really interesting challenge until you get used to it.
Good app. It's good practice but it's really repetitive. They need to add more questions, especially to the training
Great fun!. Very enjoyable. One thing that would be helpful is a running count of how many you've already answered at the bottom- I often skip ahead if I get stuck. Nice app.
Repetitive training. The training mode asks the same questions constantly and does not prepare the user for the testing mode. I find this disappointing. You also cannot see which questions you were correct or incorrect on and no solution is offered. I like the idea of this app but if needs improvement.
The standardized test you can inflict on yourself/enjoy whenever you like. Training mode gets old FAST, but the longer tests (while I've only played through the short ones so far) suffer from way less repetition (though still a noticeable amount).
Recommend. Fun puzzles. Wish they provided explanations on the tests to allow you to figure out some of the tougher questions.
Worth It!. Very cool game and challenging! It makes you really dig deep often. Agree on an earlier review that it would help, like training, to know the logic on the testing answers but 2 thumbs up!
Should have more explanations. Some questions are arbitrary.
Decent, could be more instructive. Nice presentation of the test, but could be so much more. Anger set of sample questions and explanation of results, possibly even grow into a brain training program. More importantly, how can it better support Mensa mission/goal and membership?
Answers please!!. I would like to either have the answers to the question after taking the tests, or a better developed training mode. The training should be comprised of at least two of each type of question.
Great app! Perfect for training. This app is a great way to train. I'm hoping to get into MENSA some day and with this app I can train myself and see my improvement. An update for iPhone 5 support would top it off! :)
Like it... Stimulating app, but as many people already mentioned, it doesn't show your mistakes and many questions are encountered repeatedly. Hopefully a new update will come out soon!
Fun, but would like to review. I love a good quiz, but what fun is it if you can't see the answers? The review is much too short and I was very disappointed to find that on the actual quiz I couldn't look back at how I came to the wrong answers like I did for the review... Would be ok if it was free, but for a paid app I expected more.
Pretty good. Only complaint is that I wish the longer tests would explain the correct answers, that way I would learn even more.
Amazing app!. The questions are all challenging, MENSA level questions. This app is fantastic for regular practice of higher level intellectual facilities.
Well designed. Penalty for wrong answers. Some of the questions are brain exercisers indeed! Correct answers are not given...
Mensa brain test. I would like it to identify which questions I missed and provide explanations of the correct answers so it can be a learning tool. Also, I'm scoring in the 140s but have no way to compare that to how others are doing. Some ranking or chart of others' scores would be nice.
Love it. It is fun and stimulating! Just wish one could see the correct answers at the end of a test!
Very well-done. Clear instructions, good layout & graphics, and the questions do, indeed, come from the same set as those on the proctored Mensa admission test. Excellent!
Mensa Test. I enjoyed the challenge. In reading some of the negative reviews my guess is they were clueless when they took the test.
Mensa feedback. I did not realize before buy there's a reason that we can't see the answers
Very engaging!. I love this app! The questions really make you think, and let you test yourself. I like how it has options for short, medium or long tests.
fun but needs more variety. it's a great app with some challenging problems but I agree it's very repetitive. I've seen several of the same questions over and over. hopefully they will add more!
Love it!. Great training. Write down the ? You don't know to solve later. Answers aren't given or explained but once you see the pattern you know the right one.
Love it, answers?. I love this application, but as most here would like to see more in depth training with less repeat questions. This would be useful to see in both the training and the tests. I am using this app to prep for the test and hopefully it helps.
Lots of potential. This app has a good layout and core content, but is missing a few small yet important details. At the end of a test you are only given the number of correct answers. You aren't told which questions you missed nor why your answer isn't correct. It's hard to learn if you can't figure out why you were wrong.
Same type of questions. Fun, but after a while you realize that it gets old with all the same questions!!!
Great tests, decent practice. The tests are decently hard to keep you engaged until you get the feel for them...the questions aren't exhaustive so once you get them down you've pretty much used the app to completion.
Good Mental Workout. I wish it was made clear what the score at the end means. It's implied that its your IQ, but it is also never explicitly stated as far as I can tell. Either way, I like this app.
We'll done. I also like knowing that the questions were prepared by the respected Mensa group.
Test. Challenging. Would like to be able to see the answers.
