Best pinball game for iOS hands down. I've been a fan of the pro pinball series for years. I have timeshock, Big Race USA and my favorite Fantastic Journey. All 3 are easily the best pinball simulations ever brought to video games. No other pinball game can touch their physics engine. So realistic it really feels like real pinball. This iOS version continues that trend. After just a few minutes playing Timeshock I could tell they hit this one out of the park. I have several other iOS pinball games but I've never found one that truly feels like Pro Pinball. So glad they ported this game over. My only wishes would be to put more table controls such as table tilt to slow down or speed up the ball speed. The PC version had that and it was a great tweak. Also I wish you could change the table angles like the PC version but that might be too much to ask for a mobile version. All in all I couldn't be happier. Now just do the same for Big Race and Fantastic Journey!

Pro-Pinball the best since early 90’s. I have every Pro-Pinball game and play them on old computers and emulate them on the new computers. I played BRUSA about an hour last night on a 2003 Mac. I am maybe more excited than anyone that this series is out for the iPhone and iPad. My iPhone is a 4s and I just downloaded it and it works great. I can’t wait till I can afford to upgrade to the 6plus as I use my bifocals for my 4s. My favorite in the series is Big Race USA (BRUSA) but I love all of them. Not sure when this came out but I saw it on FaceBook today since I liked the Pro_Pinball site. I had to buy it today and I am so glad their project is going forward. I hope iTunes ranks it better on their site. It may be that they rank based on sales, I don’t know but though there are many good pinball games on iTunes and I own all of the best ones, this one deserves to be at the top of the list. (I own at least 30 iPhone pinball games)

No updates?!. Doesn’t work on iPad mini 5. iOS 12.2 Don’t buy!

Cannot purchase. I would love to purchase the full version as I did back in the day on the PC, but the keyboard is forced portrait and it is only 1/2 a keyboard, so you cannot type your password. Is there any other way or buy?

Update needed. I am unable to play. The game nags me to watch a video and then it crashes.

Incredible, despite a few launch issues. This game is absolutely incredible, from the graphics to the physics and all the way down the rule set! It's also incredibly challenging, but it doesn't ever feel cheap either, and I'll be striving to reach the wizard mode for a long, long time to come. That said, there are a few issues right now that need ironed out. (I am using an iPod Touch 5th Gen running iOS 8.1.2) The main issue is that, when I hit play and the game starts loading, it usually crashes, and the only way to fix it is to restart my iPod. Restarting my iPod every time I play is definitely impractical. (Though it's still worth it! :P) Also, the DMD looks very strange and is hard to see (especially during video mode) on my device, so improvements to that and an option to simply overlay it on the top of the screen, rather than having it actually in the back box, would be great. One other nice tweak would be putting an "Are you sure?" screen when trying to activate the operator's menu during a game, because once I accidentally ended a game by accidentally tapping that, when I meant to change the ambient brightness. Anyways, thank you for such an amazing game guys! Glad I backed this on Kickstarter, despite the long wait! Edit: Well, now, no matter what I try, I can't get the game to load at all... I really hope you guys can fix this soon!

One of the best pinball tables available on iOS!. I am a big fan of video pinball games on mobile and this is currently one of the best tables available on iOS. The developer should work on app discovery, as it was near impossible to find.

Best table on iOS. The amount of thought and effort that went into this table (Timeshock) really shows. The physics, the lighting, and the gameplay are all just superb. Out of all the pinball apps, this is my favorite. Absolutely incredible!

Pinball Arcade step aside, new #1 in town!. Step aside Farsight, this machine and programmer schooled you and your crew. This sim is absolutely incredible and while it took a while to release, there are no bugs! I own every pinball out there and this is the best hands down. Ball movement is spot on. Tilt functionality is perfect. There are a million customizable things you can do. The music soundtrack is really cool. The camera angle is perfect. Nice to see pride in craftsmanship and I hope there are more to come! I'm soooooo psyched Pinball Arcade not only has completion but someone that actually did a way better job.....this is win for the pinball fan and consumer

Physics!. In this one the physics takes it to the next level. If you don't want commercials, then just buy the table for 3 dollars. It is well worth it. Thank you for such a gem

Timeshock returns from back in time!. This is, with very little lost detail, the exact same Pro Pinball: Timeshock that was available for PCs years ago. The sounds, the physics, the graphics, the board itself… everything is the same. If you're willing to pay the full $6.99 for it, you can even get the simulated operator's menu, same as in the original. The only detail I think has been omitted is with the plunger. I seem to remember that the PC version would allow pulling back the plunger with any amount of tension, like classic pinball. In the iOS app, it's a push-button affair. I will admit that my memor could be wrong about this. The game is kind of tough on a small screen like the iPhone 5s's, because important game features are hard to pick out when shrunk. But it's still a blast to play. Here's hoping Barnstorm ports the other Pro Pinball titles to iOS!

You basically have to pay to even use the app. The game is good, but after one game, it prompts you to watch a ad. The issue is it says “there are no available videos” and then it offers you to buy the table without ads. So basically you can’t even play the game unless if you flat out drop $3.00 on a single playfield.

Excellent. I'm an aging pinball guy from the 70's and this game brings me back and with muscle to keep the game interesting. If your looking for a great old school flavored pinball game, this is it. I hope the developers of this app continue to support it in the future 😀

Best single-table app in the store. It's a recreation of a table that never physically existed—the original software table was so good that fans demanded an HD remake for mobile. Timeshock has a VERY deep ruleset, some truly epic shots, and now STUNNING visuals. The playfield looks real, the lighting effects are amazing, and the crisp DMD display setting puts video mode on this table into a whole new level. Buy the IAP, without hesitation. Amazing work.

Has potential but currently crippled. I purchased this for my Mac and iPhone. But for some reason on my iPhone it insists I watch a video first. When I click the link it says there’s no video and gets caught in a loop. So that’s a major bug. But on my Mac it’s a beautiful recreation, one of the most realistic pinball simulations on the market. I’m hoping their three other tables get similar treatment. All were really fun.

Amazing. Just as perfect as the original. Game plays so realistic to real life, lighting is perfect and love the setting to adjust ambient light. By far the most realistic and best looking pinball simulation ever made. To the person saying it's too expensive: you can't afford $2.99? Yeah, that's really breaking the bank... I can only hope they succeed in their efforts in turning into a real machine. If they made it commercially available it would be the next game in my collection for sure.

The other pro Pinnball tables. If you really love Pinnball then you know that this is the best Pinnball game available! The physics are outstanding! This is the closest you will get to playing a real Pinnball machine! I played it back in the day on my computer and they really nailed it! My only complaint is that they don’t bring the other tables back! If you haven’t tried this table on an iPad you are really missing out! I thought Pinnball arcade was the best until and they were until timeshock was released! Please bring the other pro Pinnball tables out! I will buy all of them!

Best original virtual pinball. No wonder that that Silver Castle Pinball choose this table to be build as first into a real physical machine which is a copy of a virtual one. This iOS one is a good upgrade from the 1997 windows one. Same game, just better graphics although the matrix display on an iPad 2 does not look real. Forgot to add the raster? One wish, please support iCade and Pinball DUO controllers. The latency of the touch screen is just to high to get the same scores as on the windows version.

The king of pinball sims is BACK, baybee!. Timeshock set the standard for how a computer-based pinball sim should look and feel nearly 2 decades ago. To date, no one, and I mean NO ONE, has met the challenge to meet, much less beat this game for how incredibly accurate the physics are and just how much it feels and plays like a real machine. No one, that is, until now. These guys have topped themselves with this updated version of Timeshock that sets a whole new benchmark and makes every other pinball sim for iOS (or any other platform, really) look like amateur work. It looks and plays just like the old Timeshock, but with higher-res graphics and a couple other enhancements that just knock this out of the park.

Back and better than ever!. Pro Pinball: Timeshock has been the best digital pinball game since it debuted on DOS many years ago. No game since has matched it for physics. This updated version polishes that already fantastic gameplay and updates the graphics to boot.

This. This is pinball.. The Pro Pinball games got me into real pinball. The original PC Timeshock broke my keyboard. Twice. And this is so much better -- honestly photo-real lighting and an improvement on what were already unbeaten physics (I'm pretty sure they changed the rubber, waxed it and hand-polished the balls in the intervening years). The capper is that Timeshock is one of the greatest tables ever, real or otherwise. Get this.

Still not playable on a lot of hardware. Seems to be abandonware. Plays ad and then crashes.

Solid table, great physics. One of the best pinball sims available for iOS. Lots of customization in pro mode. The adjustments interface in pro mode is clunky and frustrating though. Still, good bang for the buck, and better than most.

Gorgeous, but not perfect. The graphics here are amazing, and the physics are good, but they could be better. The flippers could also be more powerful. This is great but I still prefer The Pinball Arcade. However with some tweaking this could become the best pinball sim on the market. This certainly blows Zen pinball away no doubt about it, Zen really has poor design and physics.

Only one machine and ads. The game makes you sign in to have access to one machine and ads for every game.

Very Realistic. Didn't know anything about this pinball table. Thought it was a real physical table since it looked like a simulation based on an actual machine. But it's not and I'm very impressed on the physics and the realistic lighting and models! All pinballs on iOS should take note! The lighting is what sold me.

Nostalgic. Ah pro-pinball you guys use to be the legendary computer pinball game co. I remember way back in the day when I first played Timeshock. When my grandfather bought this pinball compilation called Pinball Madness 3 it had a lot of pinball games but one stood out from the rest, Timeshock. This pinball game blew my mind back then. Then when I saw it was coming back I was speechless. After playing your other pinball tables, (Mainly The Web and Big Race USA) I wanted to go back to Timeshock, but I had lost the disc it was on. Thank you Pro-Pinball for coming back! Now how does this port fair? It's incredible! The look, music, sound effects, and most importantly the physics it's all there. But the only gripe I have about this port is the feel, it doesn't feel right on an iPhone or a small device. Other then that this is a solid remake of a classic. Now could you also add the last remaining tables not as paid DLC but as a free update? Thank you for reading and thank you Pro-Pinball for bringing it back!

Never thought I'd find a game as good as Far Sights pinball simulation of real tables. However this game is great. To you people who are giving 1 star bc the game isn't free???!!!! Are you kidding me? Best $7 I ever spent, and yes I bought the pro version just to support them!! Just like I do each month on the pinball arcade.

No no no. I bought it for my iPad Pro and MacBook Pro. Loading problems, making you watch badly produced commercials to advance, and other problems. Very disappointed...

Not free after all, totally bogus. I played once for free. Then after it won’t let me play unless I watch an ad. Guess what? No ads!! Catch 22. And we are supposed to pay for a single table? So the only way to play is to purchase. They should simply state that up front and make this a paid app.

Bait Tease & thanks for your email address. Get the app then join their club, then pay 3$ to play the games. Free app so you can join, give your email address, then have the "opportunity" (to pay) to buy a game. I wasn't even allowed to try it. It seemed that I would have been able to AFTER I joined. But no. Now they have my information. The people that love these games... the graphics are fantastic. Maybe the physics are astounding as well but the cheap way of baiting me into trusting that I would be able to play (to use my app), that makes me not care about any of what that company is selling. It's not there. What they are showing isn't what you get when you give them what they ask for. You get the opportunity to buy what they're showing. Oh boy. Goody.

The king is back. I've played this game till my fingers hurt back in the day. The old DOS game still looks great, and this version looks even better. This is by far the best pinball sim ever and the table itself is tons of fun. I'll buy this for every platform twice over if I had to.

MORE!!!!. Wow! After playing Pinball Arcade for quite a while, this is a beautiful change of pace. Beautiful art, great physics, and it leaves me wanting more! Hope to see more tables from these guys.

Fantastic pinball table. This is an absolutely top notch pinball simulation with great graphics, seemingly perfect ball physics, and a complex and entertaining table. There a few minor flaws that I hope get addressed eventually: no Game Center support (although leaderboards are available via a web site requiring you create a login) and only a single and fixed camera option. If you love pinball, download this and buy one of the "full" versions to support it!

Don’t bother. You have to pay $3 or $7 (standard or deluxe) for the table unless you watch an ad. But when you try and watch an ad, it says none are available, meaning paying is your only way to play! Spending the money doesn’t seem worth the risk of the app still not functioning as it doesn’t appear to have been updated in 7 YEARS! Very disappointing.

Still the best. This is still the best pinball simulator I’ve ever played. I really hope the other tables will be produced soon!

The game is awesome... But 4 star awesome. 5 stars is for a game that is basically perfect... This game is good... But it's not perfect. I haven't played it extensively.... And I make my comments with having an actual pinball machine in my home to compare it to. The first thing I did notice... Is that the ball doesn't make noise when it rolls... That's a big issue if you call your game "Pro Pinball".... It could easily be called "Ninja Pinball" because it bounces from here to there so silently you could a church mouse and a pin drop with ease.... I will make more comments on this game later... Graphics, physics, icade support are above par!!!! Some of the comments that have 5stars next to it were obviously written by kids that have never played a real pinball machine before. A pinball game on an Xbox or ps4 doesn't count as a real pinball machine (just my view).

Crashes on newer iOS versions (Update: Working again!). Guessing there was something server-side they fixed, as this is now working both on iOS12 and 13 again! It seems the dev has abandoned the game, so beware when purchasing.

Don’t waste your time. I usually don’t write reviews but I wasted 15 min of my life and wanted to save you the headache. Difficult to register. Then after verifying my account thru email I finally get to the game and it says I can’t play until I watch a video. Fine, I get it. But there are no videos available. I’m not going to spend money on an app that Is this poorly designed. DELETED!!! One star is too nice.

Beyond excited to play this again!. I wondered if anything would ever be so awesome that I would bother writing a review. Years later this is my first... I loved this series in the past and I just fell in love with it again! Totally immersive game, awesome attention to detail, crisp sound effects that don't get old. ProPinball were always the best pinball games and nothing has changed. Make big race USA next! Pretty please :)

Best Pinball Game To Date! Amazing Detail!. By far the best pinball game to date. The detailed graphics are amazing. The flashers and light show are extremely realistic, right down to the displays reflection on the glass. I have a lot of the "pinball arcade" tables but this simulator makes the others look like cartoons. I look forward to the next table ProPinball release.

Weak sauce. Need to give them your email to get access to leaderboards. Points are limited if you don't pay them money. Loading a game takes ages.

The best iOS pinball title, hands down.. I was not familiar with Timeshock in its original form. But this game is a revelation. Great physics, great playability, excellent sound. If you think the price is too high, you're a cheap weasel-faced numpty. I think it's an absolute bargain. If you like pinball in any form, buy it. Buy it now.

Was an Outstanding pinball simulation. Now crashes on iPhone X This is the closest to a real pinball experience that I have tried. I have 20-30 PC, Mac and IOS pinnies and this is the best by far. Real depth of gameplay, genuine physics, brilliant lighting and a soundtrack that is really, really good. Early version and there are some minor improvements to come, no doubt. My expectations surpassed !!!. I was a huge fan of the pro pinball series so I had high hopes for this IOS release and to my surprise the port really looks fantastic, better than I expected. The dev has promised more updates to refine this game even further such as more views and an improved physics engine... But in that area I don't see how, as the current physics are really quite awesome. Other pinball app developers: the bar has been raised, it's your move :)

Keeps Crashing. Playing the ad supported version the app continues to crash. Ball physics and table design are very decent - the app did work for a few games before it started to crash. Disappointing because I would have played this for a while...

The best!. So much to say with so little time. This is the game everyone has been waiting for. The physics are the best you will ever experience in any pinball simulation,the graphics are unbelievable with amazing gameplay. I'm sure Barnstorm is extremely happy with how this game has turned out, just an absolutely incredible game,great job Ade and the rest of the team. Very pleased that I backed this game!

Why bother with free play?. It's free to play, but during the first game I reached the points limit and was forced to either buy the game or quit. If your looking for a free pinball game, this isn't the one to get. Also, the graphics are nice but it was difficult to see the ball at times due to the darkness of the single table they have.

Balls.. Start having fun and then it's like.. Yo foo you gotz to buy more tables brobro. It's not free. Fraud mofos.

Pin-tastic!. Stunning play field and great lighting. Very happy this finally came to iOS. You have to build another playfield as this title should have a sibling! Please don’t let this app fall by the wayside, as many do! Let the silver ball roll on!

Pretty good. Not bad, I've played all the best pinball apps on the iPad and this is up there. 3 stars because it needs work, glad they finally got it out though. Can't wait for it to be polished up some and please have the option to play in landscape mode.

Very best of the kind. But only one machine ? It also lags, mini freeze from time to time on my iPad air 1. I will pay when more machines get unlockable. Full screen machine would be nice too.

A Tremendous Sim. This looks and plays worlds better than even Pinball Arcade. The IAP is a little steep for the deluxe version but I want to support it to see Big Race USA. I'm can't get over how great and totally adjustable the lighting is!

Beautiful and awesome. This has been my holy grail of computer pinball. They nailed it. Physics: perfect. Graphics: gorgeous. Gameplay: ultra-deep.

Superb, update adds quick restart!. Unmatched in terms of graphics, lighting, and nudge. Just a bit long with loading times. Bought the deluxe version. Feels like a simulation.

Four stars for the perfection of it one off for Apple. Crashes on my iPad Pro after playing the ad. I’m totally unable to playThis is the best of the pinball simulations. Zen pinball his amazing and fun. But Pro pinball plays exactly like a real machine. And I do mean exactly. On rare occasions the ball can even leave the surface and hit the glass and make a clank sound just like the real thing. It’s not just a gimmick uses real physics. My problem with it on my large iPad pro tablet 12.9 inches is that it is still too small to play in a vertical format.This prevents me from being able to fully appreciate the quality and detail that went into the creation of this machine. On my PC it is wonderful.You feel like you were looking at a pinball machine On my tablet it is like playing with a toy.I’m looking almost straight down at the table. I’m I am unable to change the viewing angle. And I don’t see where that’s an option if I pay the money for the fall game. Zen pinball remedies this by giving you a lower viewing angle win the tablet is turned sideways. Even though it is Almost an exact replication of the PC versionIt’s not as fun because everything appears too tiny.

The best pinball simulation ever made.. The Pro Pinball series has always been the benchmark for quality in terms of virtual pinball, and this IOS port is the best version of this product. Stunning.

Almost .... Back in the days I used to play the hell out of Timeshock Pinball on PC. Naturally, I was very excited when it finally came to iOS. It looks amazing, but two things are just not OK: First the time it takes to load (iPad Air) is simply unacceptable. It takes ages. Second, there seems to be only one camera setting and I don't like it. Needs more settings and maybe even landscape. As it it, it is just too expensive at the moment. Fix this and I will gladly buy.

Return of an old friend. Great to see this back again on a current platform. Had this back on Win 95. Excellent pin.

Good start. Solid game play made me buy it. Multiple camera angles, directional nudges, configurable touch zones, and faster loading times would all be very nice. The remaining games in the series being available soon will help as well. Has the potential to beat TPA, even if the tables aren't "real."

Just ok. Portrait mode only is deal breaker for me. No fun to play on phone because my hands cramp. I mean, graphics are so so if you want to compare to the better pinball games out there. I'm sure this was pretty dank back in the day... Music is typical lame guitar rock from the era.

Great update of a great table. Only issue is the tilt mechanism remains too easy to unintentionally activate. Would you consider changing it be activated by shaking the device instead of swiping a finger?

Realistic physics. I'm amazed that the physics are actually better than pinball arcade. Try for yourself.

Best Pinball Lighting. Graphics are by far the best ever for a pinball game. Everything else looks like a flat 2D toy compared to it. The attract mode light show has to be seen to believed. The glass off mode is very fun! Only one camera angle is major miss and despite what people say its not the best physics ( it is no better than Pinball Arcade). Looking forward to the future updates which the developer says are coming. This is an Amazing feat of dynamic lighting and modeling.

Great pinball!. I love playing pinball on my iPad. This app only has 1 table at the moment, but it's an excellent one. The physics and gameplay are top notch.

Insanely Good. Really unbelievable table. As realistic as you will find. Super cool look & physics. The glass off mode is pretty wild with the upgrade, too - imagine flinging the ball around the table with your finger - awesome idea. Ball moving too fast... It's so difficult to play, so unnetural

Wow. There's almost nothing else to say. This table is breathtaking. Timeshock makes those other iOS pins look like they're running on an Atari 2600.

Time shock. Tilt is far too sensitive. Upper table too dark. Maybe these problems can be adjusted in the full version but I see no indication they can be adjusted so I must pass on this one time favorite game.

Not free! This is a demo up to 30,000,000 pts. If you are going to spend money on a pinball table go with zen studios. The flippers are too far apart on this table. There is only one camera mode. This hasn't been out long enough to get out the kinks. Zen is amazing!!!!

Quick and fun. It's quick, but it's very fun. I've played a few others...this has a ton of things to do on the board, way more than others.

Registration: Can't connect to server. Not a good impression when I can't create a new account to access leader boards, etc.
