App icon glitch. I have the pro but when I click for what the app icon is, it doesn’t actually change the app icon.

Very useful app.. My only issue is that whenever the app is updated, stuff disappears from launch center. It seems to come back after restarting the phone.

Best launcher of them all!. This is the most amazing launcher app I've ever used. There are other good ones out there, but they can't compare to this one. Not only is setting up apps amazingly easy (they even download the icons for you), it gives you all kinds of options to set up your contacts, apps, customize and much more. And the UI of this app is beautiful!

Very convenient. Nice to keep most used apps in one place, and still keep the app in correct folder.

The second time to lose the classical widgets after update…. Be cautious about updating, that is what I want to say to bro who want to update the app, I lost classical widgets twice, and the solution is restart the phone.

BEWARE: Updates sometimes a pain!. App is useful, perhaps best in class. Developer responsive to feedback, releases updates that serve to address concerns from past feedback. Release notes don't give details about changes -- i.e., when a feature has been removed, release notes give no warning.

Still awesome and works well. Despite Apple's new restrictions / removal of 3rd party access to system utilities, this app is still great, and still totally worth it. Seems like all app launchers across the board have sufferred the same fate. But I still like this app and still find it useful. I use it to quick launch the things I want most rapidly - dark sky, uber/lyft, wallet, waze/google maps, 1password, duo mobile (2F authenticator). Although the removal of quick access to battery settings is annoying, I still find this app indispensible. Furthermore, very quick/responsive support. I emailed dev asking to add an app (their in-app support references extracting the URL scheme from the ipa, however I couldn't find the specific one since the app had multiple). He responded requesting a file from inside the IPA, sent it over, and it was added to his repo for shortcuts within 6 hrs. Pretty ridiculous and awesome.

Great app, super configurable and stable. Yes, this is for real- this app actually works. No ads, quick, doesn't crash, has many, many configuration options available, supports multiple widgets, allows lauching many system preferences as well as 3rd party apps. It makes it easy to create custom launchers (for example, to email a particular individual). It supports geofencing for particular launchers as well as schedules. It allows easy-access iconified system preferences launchers available at the top of any of the various provided widget configurations. It also supports "micro widgets" within the Magic Launcher widget- for instance, one can display current CPU utilization or altitude. This is one of the best apps I've purchased in the past couple of years- it's a real hidden gem. BTW, I have absolutely no affiiliation with the author or company that built this app.

Good launcher. The update erased all of my settings and it was frustrating getting the app to work. Had to delete the app and redownload to get it working again.

Need location on/ off. You have to improve accurate compass, also need shortcut location turn off and turn on , improve fake call quality,

Awesome launcher!. Do you have more than 2 home screens full of apps? If so, you need Magic Launcher! I have found that with my gazillion installed apps, getting to some that I use but not frequently enough to warrant a page 1 or 2 location, Magic Launcher saves the day! I can put apps in app folders on a back page and easily get to them with Magic Launcher. Super-simple! Couple that with (as others have mentioned) super-fast and friendly developer support, making this an awesome app. Of course, I’d be much happier if Apple relented on “settings shortcuts”, but that barely detracts from Magic Launcher’s usefulness. Get it NOW!

Like it so far. It is a good app. Developer sure put a lot of work into it. You have multiple options.

“Rate app” nag. When an app asks me to rate it, it gets 1 star only.

I give up. I give up and deleting this app. I just can't figure out how does it work. I wanted just to add quick shortcuts to my widgets screen but this app is so hard to use that it's better to carry two phones. There's a short video that shows how the app works but I'm not sure the video is made on iPhone. Sorry.

Deadware. No updates for over a year. Way too many unsupported apps. Used to be good, now it's something to delete and forget about.

wifi ssid doesn’t work. the magic launcher to show the wifi network name doesn’t work. it just says n/a

More apps shortcuts please. Apps that do not show url link are too many. Please add feature to find shortcut urls.

Magic Launcher Pro, a great app!. I’d love to find an owners manual for this magical app, it has so many obvious uses and so many more i have yet to discover, but sooner or later I’ll figure them out each day as I play with it. Even with iOS 11’s improvements, this Magical launching gem beats stacking numerous apps in numerous folders (who’s counting). Sad Apple restricted some functional items but perhaps they’ll see the light some day. Each day I find more things I like about it, and nothing that I don’t. Good work gents, keep at it & thank you!

Unknowable. I have spent too much time trying to get this app to do something useful. Each attempt has resulted in an error. The apparent total lack of help text, beyond the minimal explanation of how to set up the app, certainly compounds the mystery of how to use it.

Great App But Many App Launchers Missing. I really like this app, as it really helps me keeping my iPhone's shortcuts organized and tidy, while being able to get quick access to my frequent apps. But instead of adding more features, I'd value if the developer could focus on adding more apps to the luncher. New features are not very valuable when you can't use them with the apps you use the most during the day: Banktivity, CHMate Pro, Working Copy, GoCo Edit, etc. I've requested these apps time and time again, and I get disappointed to see that every new update fails to include them.

Big deception. System shortcuts are not working anymore since iOS14...app is becoming almost useless

WOW 81 apps in widget (on home screen!). WOW 81 apps in widget (on home screen!) This app is amazing. It allows you to get so many more apps on a single widget than I’ve been able to with any other app. The developer needs to showcase this in the screenshots, rather than clock widgets that are not so unique (by comparison to the app launcher feature!) So why 3 stars? Seems a little glitchy. Sometimes it gets locked up. I emailed the dev and hope he can troubleshoot the issue… If not, I may delete the app, reinstall and set it up again from scratch. I guess that’s the “cost” to customize your phone…

What a handy app!. I just bought this app after seeing in mentioned in a MacStories article, and it easily fixes a series of irritations that I have long wondered how to solve. For example, I normally have my display set to a 30-second lock period, and this is usually sufficient. When out geocaching, however, I prefer a 5-minute period so the screen stays live. Sure, it's simple enough to navigate through Settings and make the desired selections, but that requires several steps and is not always convenient to do on the move. Magic Launcher, however, takes me immediately to the right settings screen--all with one tap. Very handy! At home I have several potential bluetooth devices for playing audio, and if my phone doesn't automatically connect to the desired one, I have to navigate through Settings to get to the proper screen for choosing a device. But with Magic Launcher, that selection is just one tap away. I know that's I've just touched the surface of the app's deep set of features and am looking forward to seeing how else it can be even more of a benefit. The developer is extremely responsive and has already helped me resolve one issue. Plus, he's promised to consider a suggested feature to add to the PRO version to make it even more flexible. Bottom line: I'm quite happy with Magic Launcher PRO and highly recommend it!

Magic Launcher Pro. Very convenient widget utility to not only efficiently launch apps (which Siri does by default); but also to have some handy applications (timer, clock, etc.) and handy info (battery, etc.) about your device available at the swipe of a finger!

Great app. Use it daily. This is a terrific app. I’ve used it for several years now. I love having all my favorite apps in an easily accessible space. I was launching an app in the Apple store using the launcher and the tech who was helping me out thought it was pretty cool and asked me how I got that like set up like that.

Instructions would be nice!. I haven’t a clue how to use this app. The AppStore description details all the terrific features available, yet there is no help once installed. I see a menu list includes “App Launcher”, “Magic Launcher”, “Magic Contact”, “Web Launcher”, “Custom Launcher”, what’s the difference, what do they do, where do the go, how does this work. I didn’t spend my money on an app to have to try and figure out how it works by trial and error. Would it be so difficult to write up a brief tutorial (not that silly little video tut of how to add a widget), one that explains the app, it’s functions, and how to best set it up. And please don’t tell me to go to Facebook or Twitter to find the answers. I don’t use either of those social media plagues on society. Get a real website and help page. So disappointing.

Impressive Developer Response. Magic Launcher Pro is an app that I have been using since widget app launchers came out, had skirmishes with Apple, and then were later permitted again as regular apps. Magic Launcher Pro soon became, not only the best app Launcher, but the most versatile. Just about all of my apps can be launched with simple set-up. With a simple swipe down on my iPhone or iPad screen (one reasonable charge by the way) and a tap, I'm using the app I want regardless of what app I'm working in. I am also able to separate my work apps from my 'home' apps, depending on the time of day. I also have a few of my favorite pre-set launchers for contacts and how I wish to contact them at the moment and Google Search. My review today is prompted because one of my apps will no longer launch. I used the Magic Launcher Pro app to send feedback and within an hour or so on a Saturday night, the developer emailed the he would check it out. Before dawn on Sunday morning, he emailed again that it was the same result for him. With apologies, he explained that there were changes in the app in question that no longer would work with Magic Launcher Pro. Stuff happens, but I haven't seen that happen before. TOTALLY IMPRESSED with the developer's response. He's a top-flight developer with a top-flight app. Buy it, you won't be disappointed!

Not perfect but not the app's fault. This is one of three top candidates for launcher apps. I chose this because it is relatively feature rich compared to the others & has no obstructive in-app purchase. Although all 3 apps do what they advertise they are restricted to doing it the "Apple" way, meaning that you cannot just add any app you have to the launcher. You can only add apps that are on some sort of list that I believe is tied to the App Store. So you won't be able to add an app that you have to the launcher if it's not on said list. Aside from this annoyance which is not the developers' fault, I think this app is the best of the 3 I tried.

Dangerous App. Installed the app and my phone immediately crashed. Over half of my apps disappeared. Restarted the phone several times. The app would not uninstall. Eventually was able to reset from my laptop. $1.99 app cost me an hour to undo the damage and never even opened it.

It is still a brilliant app!. It has continued to grow and grow in functionality, and it freed me to arrange my home screen in the most aesthetically pleasing way. I don't need to worry about what's on the front page because every app I could possibly want to use on a moments notice is available at a swipe. Super interesting use cases from a workflow point of view keep popping up as well. Very happy to support this developer with his more than fair in app purchases. Just a supremely satisfying app - thank you!

What about ios 16 home screen app launcher?. need refresh

No better than what I already have. I purchased this app a long time ago and deleted it because it just wasn’t up to par. Fast forward to now, I was hoping that it had improved and would be better than the launcher app I’ve been using. Not so much. When you go to add an app to the launcher widget, it only lists stock Apple apps. If you want to add one of your own apps, you have to search for it using the search bar. This is quite the inconvenience considering the other launcher app that I’ve been using lists all of the installed apps that it is able to launch, both Apple apps and others. And after searching a few of my own, it can’t launch the same ones my other launcher can’t. Was hoping this one could launch more, but no go. I tried using a couple of the built-in widgets, like gyroscope and the wifi network monitor, but when I launched them, it returned me back to the Magic Launcher app and all I’d get was tiny thumbnail sized versions of those. That’s useless. I’ll stick with what I’ve been using.

Complete mess now!. This update has completely screwed up this app! The classic widgets no longer show and the new ones are garbage. Well done for destroying a great app!

Update broke the widget. Was one of my trusted app for the widgets space. Yesterday’s update broke the way widgets are handled. No good to me now.

Problem at ios11.2. Hello. Unfortunately, the recent updates to the program have not had any effect on the correct operation of the program. The program is not compatible with ios 11.2. None of the options works to get different parts. I really expected this program very much. But it does not matter to its users at all. It's been nearly 4 months since ios11 came. But the program has not yet been able to match. I ask you to take care of your users and do not allow the money to be lost to buy a Pro version. thank you

Very frustrating. Very frustrating when I tried using it with iOS 12 on iphone. Needs to provide much more online help and to slow down the brief tutorial video it does provide. It went so quickly I had to watch it several times and all it show is how to install the widget. I couldn't find any help on how to use Magic Launcher Pro within it. Once i finally figured out how to add several apps to the Launcher, I found that some basic ones didn't work and many others couldn't be added to the Launcher at all. The description sounds great as do many comments but it didn't work out for me so I undeleted it.

Always good the have an alternative up your sleeve. For those of you who like to configure things and have them just the way you like it, then this custom theme and multifunctional app will delight and allow you to stop using a few apps in favour of this "Swiss Army knife" of launcher apps. I like seeing the hierarchy of the folder paths that my apps reside in after I put them there and I like having circular launching icons instead of the usual square ones. Great to get it as the "App of the Day" for free when it is this functionally rich too. Well done guys!!

Last update disabled iPad Pro .... 90 days later Magic Launcher has been fixed on the iPad. Thank you. Thursday, March 22, 2018 The last update of this app rendered the iPad Pro version of Magic Launcher unusable. I immediately reported it to the developer and he/she responded right back apologising for forgetting to check the iPad Pro version for a known glitch and promised to resubmit it to Apple immediately so it would be a few days for Apple to process. Now over 2 months later the app has not been fixed. I have not been able to use the app for over 2 months. Very poor form. I had become heavily reliant on this previously excellent app. It’s getting two stars only because up to this point it’s been a fantastic app. Otherwise it would be one. Very disappointed

Works fully with ios10. This app is the best! I was using a another launcher but some URL schemes did not work with ios10. This launcher works flawlessly. And the app developer returned an email about a requested enhancement within hours! If I could pass on 6 stars, this is the app that would get them!

Lots of broken bits in ios13. Doesn’t work well after ios13 update. I hope it gets fixed soon

Unbelievably AWESOME!. If u don't have this app then u haven't lived yet. Period. I've used other 'launcher' apps before, but NONE can match this one with it's incredible customisable notification centre widgets. This blows em all outta the water. If I was going to suggest anything for this app - it would be to allow adding multiple recurring schedules to a launcher icon. Awesome work devs. Keep it up!

Really good. It's a really useful set of widgets with a really nice interface, you can even have the contact widget link to a persons Facebook messenger chat box which is awesome

Interesting app: Mostly useful, but still very broken. I was initially excited with the app after having set it up with a single widget, with various shortcuts and system indicators (namely air pressure, altitude, speed, and data network). However, over time the widget's behavior became erratic, where the panel would show up blank, or one of the indicators not showing. Tapping "show less" or "show more" didn't change anything or resolve problem. Have since removed app.

iPhone Low power mode toggle?. I bought this app thinking I could toggle the Low Power Mode on and off from widget... but can't !!! Can you add the iPhone Low power mode toggle?

Time saver means life saver. Thank you. Undoubtedly you don’t need to customise your device after installing this app. The app is worth purchase. I have rated 5 star before because it had a feature of opening every setting with just one click (in iOS10) without going into iPhone settings. With the restrictions of apple in iOS 11 Security somehow they have to pull out that feature. Not the app fault though.

Great. It gives me control of apps to launch from lock screen rather than depending on Siri suggestions. Still need to learn how to remove apps I've added.

Iphone settings widgets not working!. The wedges for the iphone setting like Touch ID, personal hotspot, caller ID , ect... are not working!!

Must have for all users. Altitude, compass, quicks settings, links, wifi info, upload, download,cpu, memory, speed you are going at, gyroscope, weather, world clock can be all seen at one glance. Very powerful app.

Classic Widgets Are Still Broken. The Classic Widgets do not show up on the widget screen (‘Unable to Load’) and the app crashes when tapping on Classic Widget to customize them. I have deleted and reinstalled the app but it is still broken. Please fix it and I will change my rating. Thank you.

"Launch" is ironic. Will this app ever update without errors and failures and issues?

Extremely customizable. This app gives you access to a number of useful widgets that are all extremely customizable and decently easy to figure out. It's awesome once everything is set up and working! Great app!

Endless possibilities. Tons of great built in shortcuts and the ability to create your own. Worth every penny.

Needs proper directions. Has tutorial for enabling Widgets, but no help whatsoever on how to then set those widgets up with apps etc. Wallpaper setting doesn't work either, it only shows one scrollable pic full screen with no way or options to get to or select any others in your library. (iPad Air2, iOS 9.3.3)

Now Useless!. Was great. Loved the app shortcuts, but loved having access to steps I’ve taken and wifi network names too. For over a month none of the app icon show. Ever! Super weird because they still function, but just cannot see them. This is a pain as I have no idea what which I’m pressing, so I went back to a competitors app even though I didn’t like it nearly as much. Please fix!

Excellent app!. The app is great . It can launch many apps as well as system utilities. Excellent developers where the reported issues have been fixed quickly. Thanks for all of the efforts. A truly five star app. As of June 2023 Every time the app is released with new update, the widget goes damage where I have to shut down the iPhone and restart. Moreover, the battery icon does not work any more. Within the app, it shows the %, in the widget. It shows n/a

what the crap what happened?. all of a sudden launcher is no longer a widget option in the notification centre. Tried all support solutions, none have fixed it. whats the point of this app if thats gone?

Annoying Spam Glitch. Opened endless "Open in app" pop ups rendering device unusable until reboot.

Needs the old month/week switch back!!. Almost perfect but needs the month/week switch in the Notification Center back!! There are so many other great apps worthy to work with this app launcher, I'll send the request thru the in-app service, tks for making our lives easier! And again, plz bring back the month/week switch!!

Lack of controls. The app should be able to control the personal settings directly instead of taking you to the settings. Example, privacy setting, should immediately toggle the setting to OFF or ON instead of taking you to there. Along with all other settings as well. Otherwise, this app is absolutely useless for what I'm trying to use it for.

Great productivity app. You don’t have to be a programmer to find this a useful app, especially if you have a device without 3DTouch, like the iPad. I use it every day.

Great and very useful App. I installed the app but was very skeptical as to its added value. After playing with it and added it to my widgets, it became very clear how useful it is giving instant access to the apps or contacts I had selected. I strongly recommend it. Well done Magic Launcher team.

This is the only launcher you’ll need!. I tried many others before I found this one and thanks to the constant updates and all the useful features I am happy with this one and it’s permanently on my iPhone. Try it, you will be happy.

Wonderful! But 1 major flaw, for me... I really like this launcher! It's stayed up to date, and has many display and functional options. I wanted to replace everything on my home screen with it, and it works very well, except it often (~30%) just display an error similar to: "Unable to load." It will also often not respond at all after the 3d-touch menu comes up. If this is Apple's fault, I'll bump the rating up to 5-stars.

Phenomenal!. Absolutely phenomenal app. I can't even begin to tell you how much this app has changed my iOS use. It should be a mandatory install for every iPhone user..

It is a Must have Widget.. It has a broad set of Widgets which even works well on iOS 8.1.1.But personally I find the Quick Settings Option most useful.

Great launcher app for basic uses. It has beautiful UI which looks better than other apps. The feature of Magic Contact is useful, it makes calling/texting my friends easier and faster. I don't have to open apps then searching for the person I want to call/text. Supports URL scheme, but if you're an advanced user it might not suit you.

A Must Have App. A lot of apps I use are not available from the apps list and launchers are limited but I still love this app and don't know what I'd do without it. No app is perfect and I would hope future updates would include more apps and launchers however I find this app the best of it's kind.

Nice approach, but falls very short of functional. I like the option to have a dedicated launcher like this, but when all the apps on your phone are not available it makes it hard to find this functional. Great approach, don’t give up. Just get more app access.

Two suggestions. 1)Please add wifi on/off button to the widget. Because Control Center is not working properly in iOS 11. In fact, WiFi does not become off completely in Control Center in iOS 11. 2) External IP is not shown in widget often. Please resolve it.

Pretty good so far -. Shameous, are you sure that your device didn't already have a problem? My device was already having problems before I loaded this app. It doesn't seem that mine is causing any of the crashing. I do love the convenience of being able to launch not only settings, but I can launch things within settings such as keyboard.

The best. There are a lot of good launchers available but after trying so many of them, I find this one to be the best. It's quick and easy to use and set up and has much more in the way of apps.

Where are quick settings?. So, the most useful feature of this app was removed in the last update. ABSOLUTELY AWFUL. I do not have easy access to battery, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or Cellular Data in settings anymore. The app just shows statistics now and although still can open other apps, that's not at all why I mostly used it.

DOESN'T WORK. I'm running v10.2.1 and after the last update the Launcher is either a blank widget with nothing in it, or shows the "unable to load" notice, or it's totally frozen the few times it shows the apps icons. It's totally unable to launch anything even after rebooting my iPhone. Please fix it!

The most advanced widget for iOS!. This is the most advanced widget for iOS! Gives several options to customize and increase personal productivity.

You don't know what you've been missing till you use this app. Got loads of widgets like different timezone clocks and days left till that special event etc. Having said that i wish it supported all of my installed apps like calcfast(calculator)

Sick of Apple and Their Restrictive Ways. I was bummed to see the Settings shortcut bar go but this app is still amazing. Apple is going backwards and it's pathetic.

Handy widget. Its a great product but as the owner of the pro version I feel I should have the "magic launcher" label removed. In the end I don't care who is providing me with these shortcuts, and it feels like it's an advertisement to the product. Remove the label and you get the 5th star.

Useful tool, excellent support!. I couldn't live without this tool. I encountered a small problem, and got a nearly instant response from my support request, and it resolved my issue.

Nice!. Mostly I use it to quickly communicate with the people I deal with most. Makes it very easy to make that phone call or send that text. Plus instant access to the settings I frequently need, like wifi, Bluetooth and display brightness. Love the 3d touch access.

Great shortcut app. I use Magic Launcher for quick access to settings; for this purpose it is great. Fast way to change in/out of low power mode and turn VPN on/off: Netflix for example won't work with VPN on. Haven't tried it for apps so no opinion on that.

Update to latest ios. Need update to latest ios. Currently quick setting not showing and not working Magic launcher 1 is not found only 2 and 3 is there. Once we press any other dock/launcher the main launcher disappears. Need fix

I haven't found a better launcher!. Does everything I want a launcher to do, including apps, key actions (e.g., msg/call/facetime contact), and settings. Customizable and regularly updated too.

Good app. This is a very useful app and one I’m glad to have found. Downside is that I can’t figure out how to add more main launchers for categories and delete individual launchers like messages and calendar

Love this app, but one issue. The “settings” app no longer works in the launcher. I noticed it a few days ago, I’d tap on the icon but it wouldn’t work so I decided to try and remove it then replace it. Now there is no icon at all, even in the magic launcher app itself. It’s completely invisible. Hopefully this gets fixed soon :)

Needs tweaked after iOS 11. Most of my applications won’t launch anymore, and after reinstalling the app, I’m not able to add anything from the Settings application.

Handy, but.... Been using this for years, but some updates appear not to finish downloading, and leave the app unusable. After the last update, the app crashes immediately after trying to launch. Ironic, for an app called "Launcher." I don't want to delete the app, because then I'll have to rebuild my settings, yet again, from scratch.

Useful. Efficient. Highly customizable. Ignore the 1 stars for removal of quick settings. Apple forced all apps to not have any quick links. That's disappointing, but the app is still worth it.

What a timesaver!. This app is a great example of adaptation to the real-life needs of the average user. Though perhaps a tad confusing to navigate, and lacks universal implementation for all apps, this is still a most useful tool.

Incredible access. it has a great full access to make your phone work easier than before, also have some fun things like knowing the storage and compass sooo quick from the widget ...

Compared. I compared this app (will call it Roxwin) with the one made by Cromulent Labs (Cromulent). Both have the same name and both are good. Roxwin offers all in one price while Cromulent includes extra options as IAP. Nevertheless, Cromulent is easier to use and the icons in widgets are resizable and are better aligned. I personally prefer Cromulent but then it is a matter of taste. And yes I recommend this app.

Really good. Does what it says. It's so nice to have the functionality to go straight to a particular setting without having to tediously go --exit app--home--settings--wifi

Can't upgrade with 4.3.8. This 4.3.8 update has been "stuck" for over a week. iOS fails when trying to update this app. All other updates succeed but not this guy. I like this app but it seems something is broken iPhone 6 Plus, max memory, iOS 10.2.1 Fix this & you earn 2 more stars from me. Ignore this issue & you will lose a star every week for this app.

Fantastic app. Extremely useful app and the developer is very responsive. The Magic Contacts is worth the price of admission alone.

Must have for everyone. The best launcher I've used until now. Easy to setup with many customized feature. It even works perfectly on my old iPad 2.

Best I've used. Even the free version beats the competition. Easy, complete, and glad they've restored the quick settings since Apple deprecated deep links to settings in latest iOS.

Terrible, went downhill very fast. I used to love this app, but then it went downhill. First it lost the ability to have settings shortcuts, but this apples fault and I won’t ding them for it. Otherwise it doesn’t format well for my iPhone at all. If the icons are large them only 6 fit in the widget and the rest get cut off. This needs to be updated to work on the iPhone X.

Awesome!!. Very useful, especially now that Apple has removed any hope of a decent quick dial on iOS. The settings shortcuts are also a HUGE time saver if you frequently access Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and other settings.
