Best GTD Capture App. This is the best GTD capture app I have found. It can be setup to send from your own email instead of a third party server which also makes it more reliable. Works great on Apple Watch too. I am hoping I can get transcription working as I mainly message myself audio notes and it would be nice to read the transcription and then listen if the transcription is off.

Quick notes. I’ve tried many Apps to take quick notes and this the one I ended up using the most. I’ve paid for the lifetime.

Absolutely essential app. If you use your inbox as a to-do list, as I do, this app is the best thing you'll ever find. When you come up with a note or thought of something you need to do - just type it and bang, it's there. You can also add a couple of other people - a spouse or co-worker - to email just as quickly. Honestly the app I use most on my phone, and it's constantly upgraded with small finesses that don't get in the way. Perfect.

It just works. Tried many alternatives, this one just works. It’s one of those apps that you use many times per day, saving lots of time, and it ensures you don’t forget anything to follow up. Worth every penny.

Best note taking app. I can't always speak so I use this to communicate and write down things. This is definitely the fastest way to send quick emails. My number 1 app on my phone. I love the simplicity and that it relies on email to save all my important stuff. Another thing I appreciate is that the aesthetic is customisable for free. Mine looks just like a notepad and that's lovely, and also after some messing around I set it up so you can't really tell what part of the screen is greyed out when guided access is set. My one nitpicky complaint is the font selection. It would be nice if l co change the font selection.

Most used app. This tool is something I’ve come to rely on and use multiple times each day. It’s quick and easy for jotting down a note or sending myself a reminder about something. Well designed and it works smoothly! Highly recommend

Extremely Useful But…. UPDATE: The developer contacted me & suggested that I try the “restore purchases” option under the settings menu, which solved the problem! ====== I use this all the time on my iPhone. But it doesn’t want to work on my iPad. Keeps popping up a subscription window, recognizes that I already have a subscription, but won’t let me send.

Fantastic single purpose app. I am previously a Noto 2 user for the “email to self” functionality but when it became abandonware i searched for a replacement. I tried them all and Email Me is the best of the bunch! It maintains a simple and clean design while offering a full feature set for a focused app. Particularly useful for me is the ability to set a “primary” destination which is where your notes go when you press the send button, but you can also send your note to alternate destinations if you long press on the send button. Spoke with developer and they are implementing swipe-to-send in the next version, which will make this app 💯

Fantastic. I used to rely on an app called “Mail to Self” (no longer supported or available on the App Store) which did the same thing but with fewer features and less ability to customize. I was so happy to discover this substitute! Email Me strikes a perfect balance - fully-featured but without unnecessary feature bloat that would render it less useful. What it does, it does so well.

If you have a Watch, you need this. Trust me!!. This is a great option for iPhone or/and Mac. BUT if you have an Apple Watch, IT’S A MUST!! It has a mic for recording notes or reminders and sending them to yourself from your watch to where you’ll always find them. Unlike all the other reminders and notes you put in the sea of apps on your iPhone or Mac, only to have them get lost in the mess that is your phone or PC desktop; these notes go right where you can’t forget them or hide them from yourself: YOUR EMAIL. Brilliant!! Only caveat: now you can’t ignore them either. Download now. You need this. You’ll see. You’ll thank me. 😉

Indispensable app for my GTD workflow. It is simple and very reliable. Tried a bunch of similar apps and this one is the most usable.

The easiest way not to forget things. I love this simple app. I use it on my Apple Watch to send myself emails whenever I don't want to forget something. If you are anything like me is about 20 times a day. I use audio recordings because they are more reliable than Siri transcription. You can literally leave yourself a note in two taps. One to open the app and one to hit send.

Love It. You won’t find a better app for the price. It’s a great app, and has a great Apple Watch feature. One suggestion: on the Apple Watch, the only way you can edit what you are saying or typing is by using the scribble feature. Is there a way to change this so you can review voice to text? Other than that, this is fantastic app and is invaluable to my work system.

Great app but bugs are a problem. I really loved this app and used it many times a day for thoughts, reminders and such without having to open email. Unfortunately, the emails sometime don’t send which is a problem if you’re writing important reminders. The developer recommended using a custom SMTP, which I tried to do, but got an error message. It’s just become too time consuming. It really could be awesome if bugs were fixed.

A must have an app on every phone. One of my most used apps. It is essential. I’ve tried several other versions of the same type, and this one is hands-down the best.

So easy to use. I’ve tried several email-me type apps and I’ve settled on this one. Simple user interface and easy to use. Also, when I reported a bug, the the developer responded quickly and fixed it within a week! I’ve hooked up this app to send me an email to my to do list which auto creates an entry. Makes it easy to quickly jot myself a follow up for later.

A fast note taking app. It works really fast to help record everything just in seconds. It is one of my most used app for office work now.

PS: Sending Emails has never bern more fun when you use send button. Because it simultaneously vibrates the screen and plays sounds. Its so much fun.

In love with this App. I've been using this app for a while and I keep it in my dock. It just makes my life easier. Being able to send notes to different groups of people helps me to delegate work much faster than sending emails.

Great but crashes sometimes. Don’t expect notes you write (but have not sent yet) to be there when you come back. It crashes and loses them sometimes!

Love this app!. See the title of my review! I use it all the time. I look at my email much more frequently than I do some list applications. I can put more detail in my notes to myself and follow up with details when I need to - especially from my inbox. At least that is my routine…

Very helpful with Adult ADHD.. I see so many tiny bits of information that I want to memorize and retain. However, I try and respect that we all have limits in our capacity to memorize important matters. In today’s world, we are inundated with so many images and pieces of information that can strike something in us. This app doesn’t allow that to go to waste. It allows me to save all ideas, hopes, dreams, informational articles, reviews etc. It is so minimal yet, incredibly supportive for the way my brain works, on a daily basis.

Must have productivity app. I use this multiple times a day and it’s a joy to use every single time!! This app is my primary to do item or idea capture method.. whenever I get an idea or thought or todo item worth saving, I quickly email it to myself.. so later when I check my mail, it’s all there for me to catalog it into an appropriate place in notion.. the app is super easy to use with an intuitive ux, so I can get in and out of the app quickly without jumping through hoops.. if there ever is a problem (very very rare), the developer (Manuel) is extremely responsive and fixes it in no time.. this is probably the highest ROI money I have spent on any app in my life!

Essential - I use it almost daily. This is the best app. I use it so many times throughout the day. Personally, I find when I have various thoughts, it’s best to make a quick note about it so I can return to it later. Using this app - particularly with the watch - allows me to send myself the briefest email to remind me of the idea later.

One of my favorites…. Email Me is a ‘must have’ tool in my productivity stack. As I serve multiple clients, on the go I can easily email myself a Siri-generated note through Email Me that will land in the appropriate inbox for follow-on action. This workflow frees up tremendous headspace and allows me to execute with precision. I also use the app heavily with recording personal items that need action. I recommend the app often!

Thank you for getting it right!. I don’t know how long I have been searching for an app that does exactly what this does! I was chasing an app that would do a voice recording, attempt to transcribe it to text, and send the text Plus, the audio recording (as a backup) to a predetermined email address with one button click. Many applications I’ve come across will do some, but none that I found did all of these features in one. Then I came across this tonight, tried it for about two minutes, and purchased a lifetime subscription immediately! Thank you for getting it right, and having and all in one package!!!

Excellent. Lovely simple design, it “just works”. I use this every day and it’s seamless. And excellent customer support — received a response from the author within hours when I had a query! Highly recommended.

Doesn’t send all the time. Messages sometimes sit “pending” and are sent much later. Yes, I’ve checked that I have internet connection. I use my regular mail app to send instead and that works fine. It mag have something to do with the app’s own SMTP server. I’m not sure if I want to use my own SMTP server because I don’t want to compromise my server password over this app.

Does the job. I use this app to email me remind myself with links or images. It does the job. Thanks to the team. However, user interface interactions can be improved. Sometimes it’s confusing.

Perfect easy to use app. I organize my business life from my emails. Yes including my to do’s reminders, meeting notes, notes to file etc. This app fits! I can make a little note and poof it’s done. I realize I could use gmail myself but somehow this is much easier. Thanks to the guy who realized this was needed.

Near perfect iOS app; watch app needs pruning. Really love this app. EmailMe allows me to use my in-box on my office computer as my to-do list. So glad there’s a 64bit option for the new OS. It’s even better now with a cleaner interface and no jet sound effect. No ads and no fees!!! I was intrigued that there was an Apple watch version of the app. But I found the the options were getting in the way. Hard to imagine I’d send an emoticon or even a sketch to myself(!). I think it would be better if it went straight into dictation the moment the app opened and then just sent it. Maybe pressing the crown activates and deactivates the dictation. Functioning in this way would be VERY convenient as many is the time I don’t have two free hands I just want to send myself a quick note. In some ways, it would be better than the iPhone app.

Used to work great. This was little great much needed App/ utility, and it used to work great. The latest update has 3 problems: - it’s isn’t a quick, one click function App anymore. Now I have to pick up my email (why? I have only one) before sending. - It got slow. Takes 5-6 seconds until it loads - the emails simply doesn’t get sent. Instead, every 5-6 emails I try to myself, it suddenly send ALL of them

Indispensable. This app is indispensable. I use Email Me a dozen times per day or more to email links, tasks, reminders, screenshots, and notes to myself. Pro tip: you can use your own email sending server settings (I use GMail's) for additional privacy/security, instead of using the built-in default email sending option. Email Me's paid plan is worth every cent.

Perfect for ideas capturing. I recently stumbled upon the Email Me app and I must say, it quickly became one of my favorite productivity tools. The app is simple and straightforward, and it does exactly what it promises - let you capture any text, photo or dictation. Yes there are a zillion to-do list tools out there but I found it best to stick with just one inbox, the email inbox. The best part is that I can use my own gmail server instead of the default one. Developer is quick to respond to any queries too.

Indispensable!!!. I have a thought in the middle of the night I touch my watch I whisper into my watch. It goes straight to my email. No more scrambling for pen, paper and all that other stuff. I’ve got 50 apps on my phone and this is the one that I use 23 510 times a day, I don’t know how I lived without it before this.

Subscription canceled forced to renew at higher price. Subscription not working 6 monrhs before expiration ... now forced to renew for 6 times the original yearly subscription cost

Use it every day. If your inbox is your to-do list this is an easy quick solution. I use it every day to send myself quick notes about things I want to do or need to remember. I also have it on the home screen of my Apple Watch so that I can dictate a quick note and send it to myself without even taking my phone out of my pocket. It has become indispensable for me.

Must try. This App is a must try if you like sending notes and reminders to your inbox.

Useful Utility for pwrsonal reminders and notes.. This is a simple function utility, but one that can be quite useful. It simply sends messages, with, or without attachments to your email...from you, or another family member that has this installed. It's kind of a novel approach to using email... It can also do voice to text recording with a iPhone, thus you can make quick voice reminders, and have them show up in your email as a text message... a Novel idea, and tool.... -BC

Simple, Quick and Ingenious. What a fantastic idea. Anytime, anywhere I have an idea or task that I need to give attention to- i tap the app, speak it (or type it) and send. 7 seconds and done.When I am back at the office it will be there in my inbox to remind me. Works flawlessly because it is so simple.

Exactly what I was looking for. Exactly what I was looking for and have been using it several times a day for a few months now. I easily send myself links, images, notes, etc. with one click, and have set up my email program to color code and tag them so they are clearly marked when they come in. Well worth the lifetime subscription!
