Best Writing App Ever!. Title says it all!

AWESOME🥰. You want security; offline privacy with passwords locks; the options to create re-edit mark down in addition to the option of of 25 templates to choose from. Then my Firend you will not be disappointed when you try this app. It’s that “GREAT” that after three years of having this App I am just not leaving a review. Therefore thank you ”Developers" keep up the great work. You have my support.

Outstanding!!. This app is pricey, but it fulfills my needs for a very simple and dependable way to open and read Scrivener files on iPad in perfect Binder/Folder/Document format, edit them, and sync the changes with iCloud and/or Dropbox. The iCloud sync is automatic. Dropbox sync requires clicking a sync icon. Also, I'm impressed with the email support. It is almost instantaneous, and right on point. Nicely done!

Love It. As a writer who has already published one book I find it hard to find time to write another. It seems I have the desire to write at the weirdest times. When I'm watching a movie or something I'll be like, "Man, I really want to write right now." Then whine I'm at my computer I have no desire to write or any ideas. This helps me to be able to write whenever and wherever I want. The fact I can sync with Dropbox just makes it even better.

Who is the hidden dev behind this?. Knowtilus, Kairoos, Studio5apps? These three have their hands in these apps: Textilus, Scrivio, and NotesWriter Pro. These three apps have very little to differentiate them from each other. They all look the same. Where is a feature comparison chart? Where do you go to get support? I see reviews for all three that mention a decided lack of response when contacting "support."

Great For Plotters & Pantsers!. If you plot your story within Scrivener by adding the key elements to the card descriptions then this app work great for you. It is a well supported app, the team have built and continue to refine an app that works very well with Scrivener. Gave feedback to the team and they were super responsive. Can view those notes on your cards and can then go inside a specific card and write. So if you've plotted the story out beforehand, you can see these plot notes and make changes to them and then dive in to writing. The app also syncs with Dropbox very well. This is a great app for traveling Scrivener writers who like to plot. For pantsers, it's also good to go...ps. I paid for this app and don't know these guys, it's just a great app which deserves recognition. Thanks team Scrivo Pro!

Cheaper price, same function. Title says it all. This is exactly like another program but way cheaper. I was on the fence about trying a different, more expensive software and found this. It was a little different, but it worked. Something broke, but updates have since then fixed that issue. I love it!

Finally!. I am SO excited to finally be able to download this app! I've been a Scrivener user for a few months now. To finally be able to write in an app that is compatible with Scrivener means everything you just don't know. So far, I've only used it for my book but I do see there are other features as well. I still have yet to explore the ends and outs but for my book, I'm happy. I've been able to edit with the text, font and type features fairly easily. Again, for what I need to complement Scrivener... So far so good.

THIS IS NOT ASSOCIATED WITH SCRIVENER!!!. After reading many of the reviews, it’s apparent that this developer is putting Scrivener in the app’s title to poach people looking for the Scrivener iOS client. I, and it seems that many others in the reviews, fell for this. I found this app to be useless for me, since I was looking for a way to work on my Scrivener projects on my iPad. Scrivener does have an app on the App Store, but this isn’t it.

Great for basic writing. I have been using various versions of Scrivo for writing a novel over the past two years and work in the app every day. It is much easier to customize screen background color & text color/size and offers much more flexibility in this respect than Scrivener which only allows for 3 background screens, none of which are dark enough for my taste. I find this makes a big difference in reducing eye strain, and hence do all of my drafts in Scrivo Pro. I have not had any problems losing documents, in either iCloud or Dropbox (manual sync) and generally like the Scrivo layout for storing documents and creating folders. It serves my purposes anyway. The only recurring issues are small bugs that never seem to go away. Most of then concern the stability of font size, line spacing, and line-break functionality, but they only pop up every now and then and I have found easy fixes for each (by closing and reopening the document or just resetting the style). Were it not for these, I would give it 5 stars because it does what none of the other apps seem to do as well: provide a distraction free writing environment for writing, as opposed to forcing you into markdown mode, with a wide array of screen and text colors to choose from. If you are looking for a simple, flexible app for writing, this might be for you.

endlessly frustrating. Constantly crashes, difficult to upload into dropbox, does not sync easily with dropbox. Sorry i spent the money

Scrivo Pro. I have Scrivener v1 on my MacBook Pro, and wanted to be able to update my docs via my iPad when on the go. App is easy to use, directions on developer's website are helpful. I was able to successfully sync my docs across platforms via Dropbox. I have only done basic functions so far, but haven't encountered any issues. Four star rating because I don't feel I've explored the full potential of the app yet, but I feel it was a good purchase.

Good app, rare graphical glitches on iPad Pro. Love the app. I have also had the occasional graphics glitches on my new iPad Pro (gen 3). It looks like scrambled boxes that covers some text. The issue seems to come up when I open files synced with iCloud. Haven’t experienced it with files prior to syncing. The glitch goes away by itself eventually; only a minor annoyance. The app is still worth the money though.

Incredible but.... So I have been looking for a way to work on my books on the go and this is working out great!! I only have one thing that bugs me and it may be my fault but where is typewriter mode. It says they have it but I can't find it or use it. I am using an iPhone 6s so maybe it doesn't work on iPhone but PLEASE if any one knows how to activate it tell me. I tried full screen mode but it doesn't let me edit.

Front Size. I seem to have trouble with the front size in text for now I could only size it down to ten instead of lower now then I did before.

Not sure of the benefits of this app. I purchased this app hoping it might assist me in my writing profession but it is a rather complicated and convoluted app. I’m not really certain what the end goal was for the app creators. It definitely has potential but it is rather cryptic without a smooth and easy to follow user experience

Really trying to like this. Maybe not updated for IPad Pro 4?. I’m new to Scrivner, just got a new IPad Pro 4 and trying to get started by uploading from Dropbox . Interfaces don’t look anything like instructional videos. No split screens, no automatic tutorial load. I’m just going round and round uploading dupliciate files. Began writing, then saved and closed, only to find it did not save my draft. I want to like this app. It comes so highly rated. I am beginning to think the glitch is related to not being updated for the latest iPad version?

Crashes constantly!. I can’t even open a project without the app completely crashing. Disappointed I spent money on this app. The concept is great but they need to fine tune the issues and glitches.

It does not disappoint. So far, this is the only tool that really integrates with Scrivener and keeps projects in sync between iOS and MacOS. I am still cautiously backing everything before editing with Scrivo but, so far, it has worked flawlessly. After all the delays by the L&L people with the iOS version of Scrivener I had the idea that developing a reliable version for iOS was impossible. Now that Scrivo exists, I think they should just give the credit to and support its developer, instead of continuing (if they in fact are still working on it) with a project that has flopped in their hands time and time again.

Pretty good but mine crashed too much. Used this app for a few months but eventually I switched to another one because it wasn’t 100% reliable. Would sometimes freeze for a really long time and then black screen / crash after a while reloading. It’s great when it works but I can’t abide the crash freeze man

Very strange interface. First off, I have to use Scrivener for its Binder function. If you think Scrivo pro will add a detailed or comparable experience you may be in for a bit of disappointment. I know I was. I purchased this as a possible better or updated version to Scrivener’s IOS app, which also is missing the fundamental binder features. I need to get a refund, I can’t even open any of my scrivener projects via Dropbox or ICloud, even after following their guide. I can’t really figure out what this app is used for honestly. It’s NOT intuitive at all.

Not a ripoff. This program has been around for several months and has matured nicely as an app. It was rough around the edges at first, but the developers listened to the users and worked hard to improve the app. Like many writers, I waited patiently for Scrivener to release an IOS version for more than three years and had just about come to the conclusion that it was going to be vapor ware. I got tired of waiting and purchased this one. I have been using it for months without issue. Is it Scrivener? No. Is it a ripoff as one reviewer commented, no. Scrivo was in the App Store first and is a nice mature app that works well for me.

I Wanna Give It 5 Stars But..... Its iCloud folder is not syncing at all with Scrivener 3. But the issue of inability to synchronize from iOS to MacBook is probably an iCloud Drive’s fault since it never worked either for Ulysses or ByWord. I still can’t give it 5 stars though as much as I wanted or else I’d be lying. It has been experiencing glitches of getting stuck and not responding anything you touched. I had to switch off my iPhone each time it got stuck and it was a regular occurrence. So 4 stars is already me being generous.

It's what I've been waiting for!. I knew you could do it! Thank you so much. Using Scrivener has been like opening a present that keeps giving and giving, the things it can do/help for writers, authors, journalists and diary keepers. Love it. And to be able to sync to devices... A writers dream. One kvetch, sorry. Spell Check. I still have to compile to a word doc for a complete spell check. Makes editing a chore. Please strengthen the spell check feature :) (I'm sure you're already aware of and working on this, you're so smart!) Really, absolutely love the app, program, tutorials.

Scam Alert!. I unsubscribed to this app 2 months ago and I was billed YESTERDAY through my paypal and NOT through apple! I contacted apple and they said the app billed you directly so you’ll have to contact them!!! GUESS WHAT?! THE EMAIL DOESNT WORK!!!!

Don't hesitate to purchase.. I love Scrivener. Many do. So much so that we have waited patiently for an app companion. Don't wait. Buy this. It's what Scrivener hopes their app to be. I may write Scrivener and tell them. Works amazing well and support answered quickly and precisely about a feature built in where you can annotate a pdf in one app and put it into your Scrivener project through sync. Easy and fast. I am an app-olyte and have sampled hundreds of apps. This one is top ten.

Scrivener Users Rejoice!. Scrivo Pro finally allows you to take your Scrivener Projects truly mobile. Works great on both iPhone and the iPad. When setting up Scrivo Pro, use Dropbox for Scrivener option, it is by far the better way to go. iCloud is frustrating to setup, spent two hours trying, and Dropbox worked the first time! Hopefully iCloud for Scrivener is coming in an update. Being able to sync the Scrivener Binder is Wonderful, all my notes and resources are at my fingertips. PDFs work great, but there is no support for .JPG or .PNG files, which I use as resource materials. Writing is fluid and updated files sync easily. A good beginning, more to come!

Love it because…. You can store in RTF and other formats. Brilliant! So sick of being tied into an app. Thanks!

Not Scrivenir. On iPhone, this app showed up but no scrivenir. Hate copycat softwAre riding on the coat tail of other software!!! Had I looked for Scrivnir oh iPad, it would appear . Feel conned by copycat company

Depends on what you are wanting..... I have used Scrivener on my mac for a while now but after accepting a job traveling I was looking for a way to write on my iPad and have it sinc with the version on my Mac. If that is what you are looking for, this probably isn't your answer. I store everyone on my Mac in iCloud so I was able to import my latest story into the Scrivener iPad app, but the changes I have made on my iPad I haven't been able to get back to my Mac version. That really defeats the whole purpose. Mac Pages, Word, all since seamlessly. Why this doesn't is just frustrating. It makes both of these apps worthless if you need to be able to write on the go. Don't waste your money until they get it worked out.

These guys care about making a good app. My only complaint is the weird startup UI. It just sections everything off (I especially dislike that little sectioned off part for "Apps" one of which is only a like to a thesaurus...) This is not the kind of app to take a quick note on, I use Notebooks and Drafts for that, this is the kind of app to write your college paper on or to work on a short story on.

NOT SCRIVENER. App is, meh. But this is NOT SCRIVENER. It’s using a likeness to their logo and the name. That’s pretty dang shady business practices. Be fair warned.

Excellent Scrivener companion!. Syncing my Scrivener novels with Scrivo via Dropbox works perfectly on iPad and iPhone! Thanks very much! Keep the good work!

This app is changing my writing workflow. I mentioned in an earlier review that I'm not really floored with the UI. I solely used Ulysses before discovering this app. I really liked Scrivener but not the hassle when you add mobile devices (iPhone and iPad). I do a good amount of writing (amongst other things) on mobile and it's very useful when I have new idea pop into my head to get it down so I don't forget. It's just as important to have a simple workflow and minimize the number of writing/note taking tools. I started using Scrivo Pro which allowed me to use Scrivener and I'm truly loving it. I'm trusting Scrivo Pro so much now that I go to it first most of the time (iPad and iPhone). I was so happy when my iPad Pro 9.7 rebooted without warning that all of my previous 500+ words were not lost when I reopened Scrivo Pro. Dropbox sync seems to be getting faster too. Functionally this app is great. Polish up the UI, without break functionality, and you'll easily get 5 stars from me.

Love It!. I just downloaded this app this week. Initially, I had issues trying to synchronize between Scrivener and this app using iCloud. The app support staff were awesome with helping me troubleshoot the issues towards a resolution. Nothing against Apple and iCloud, but this app works seamlessly with Dropbox! It wasn't worth the effort to integrate iCloud. Coming from a Scrivener lover and user, this is app is awesome to use when you only have your iPhone.

They don’t respond to customer questions. They don’t respond to customer questions. They need to step up their customer service.

If only..... I would love this app and use it many times more than I do if it had a companion version on the Mac. It is not so much now the idea that it can sync into Scrivener, as Scrivener is across all platforms now, but I would love to use it on its own and I do a ton of writing. The only problem is that you can only use this app on a Mac through a text editor on iCloud Drive. Other than that I would love this app and use it so much that I would wear it out:)

Does not work with Scrivener 3. Developers should make it clear that this app does not work at all with Scrivener 3.

Crashes immediately after opening. I downloaded it to my iPad and iPhone and neither work. $3.50 and nothing. Huge disappointment.

Best writing program ever. This app is worth every penny. Works good for anything! Writing a book, using as a diary, great for school work, everything! I would recommend this program to anyone at any age, even my 9 year old loves it when she writes. Thank you who ever designed it!

Ugh I was so excited. Scrivener is my go to productivity app. I use it on all of my devices but when it stopped working I thought maybe I needed the pro version. I ponied up, finally got my just two of my projects on it and all it does is crash. I uninstalled and reinstalled, but nooooo. I have all UTD apple products. Please fix the bugs. I can’t live without scrivener and this is seriously screwing my productivity.

Great app, some faults. I love this app, so much so that I can overlook its faults. Once you get everything set up, you can sync Scrivener projects from desktop to phone to tablet - however the syncing process isn't completely user-friendly. Some aspects of the app should be simplified or come with detailed instructions within the app. However this is so handy and not too hard to use once you understand it, so I gave it 4 stars for that.

Great depending on your needs.. I don't normally write reviews but I use Scrivo Pro quite a bit so bear with me. If a normal word processor serves you well enough then Scrivo may be a little more than you need but this app can do anything you would need a word processor to do. It's a bit of a learning curve but there's a way for it to do whatever you need. I write for research and study and having notes organized in-app was something I didn't think would help but has been enormous.

Love it but lose too much work. I use Scrivener and love it. I thought Scrivo Pro would make editing easier as I could take my iPad on the train and bus and read over work in places where it was inconvenient to pull out my laptop. Boy, was I wrong. I want to like it, and when it works, it works great. But it took forever to figure out how to sync it with Dropbox, and even now that it's synced, I've lost so many files to the syncing process (and I do mean lost - the .rtfs are empty) that this app has just made me paranoid. It doesn't seem to notice if it hasn't synced fully with Dropbox, so you can be working on an incomplete sync (even an hour after opening the app) and saving over your current file without noticing. The only way I could have avoided that was to check all 80 items in this binder were synced fully before beginning work, and I use Scrivener to make large documents easier to edit, not more tedious. I'm sure I'll keep using it since I bought it. But from now on I think I'll reserve Scrivo Pro for finished documents that need polishing, and won't require much syncing.

Using with Scrivener/Dropbox…. So.. I bought this on a whim hoping that I could use it with my existing Scrivener projects which is says it supports. I got it to eventually sync even though it takes about 10x longer than Scrivener does. But the resulting project structure does not reflect anything close to my project within Scrivener (on the iPad). I’ve got a neat and tidy structure for one of my projects but in this app the layout is not close to what I see in Scrivener for whatever reason. Maybe I’ll check back in a few versions or something.. For now it’s not usable for me. Edit : 2 hours later. I tried this on my iPhone and let the initial sync run for probably a half hour.. it did eventually finish. The structure was initially the same as described above but I synced again and let it finish which probably took closer to 45 seconds and then the structure was fine and worked as I was hoping it would .. it’s got some odd behaviors in the editor that are a little frustrating.. Yes, syncs are slower than scrivener but do seem to work ok. I’ve gone back and forth between the two apps and no issues so far.. Call me happy!

I just wasted my money.. I followed the instructions but I cannot get my Scrivener file to sync. It’s greyed out like its not even an option. The interface is not very user friendly. Also, the AI writing assistant that is advertised as included is actually an extra $1.99 per week which I think is very misleading.

Scrivo fits the bill. I'm a Scrivener user who is waiting for three years for Scrivener to issue the app for iPad. Scrivo has made the iPad (and iPhone) app that, for me, has made the Scrivener update unnecessary. Scrivo's functionality is very close to Scrivener, and most importantly, I can now work on documents either at my computer or on my iPad/iPhone knowing that it will all be synced and available on my devices. Way to go, Scrivo.

Won’t even open. I’ve only ever used this app on my phone before for several years now. It’s okay there. I am just now trying it on my iPad, and the app won’t even open. I get the white screen with the “S” in it for a few seconds, maybe a minute, and then it crashes. On my phone, I’ve never had this issue, but even there I wouldn’t say it’s the best. It’s a bit of a disappointment tbh. There’s got to be better apps out there for iPad/iPhone. Scrivener on the desktop is the best. Still looking for a mobile program…

Impressive. I've been waiting on this forever! A few minor sync issues but nothing a little determination can't fix. Love the ease of use and am finally able to write in scrivener again. I write when the ideas hit so not having a portable writing program didn't work for me. I had to use Evernote, which is great but not a novel writing tool. Now, I have what I've been waiting for.

Scrivener Rip-off!!. This is a total ripoff of Scrivener - and not a good one at that. Buy the real thing, not this knock off. It doesn’t tie into or sync with Scrivener at all. They put Scrivener in the title in the App Store just to scam people into buying it thinking it was the pro version of Scrivener.

Version 3.0 working well for Scrivener (Mac) sync. This app has come up to speed rapidly over the last few months with regular updates, and since v. 3.0 I have been using it regularly to sync with a fairly large project (approx 450 documents over 100 folders in the Binder, plus another 50-60 documents in Resources). At this point synchronising via Dropbox is pretty much bullet-proof, it is handling web-based documents and PDF documents (in the Resources folder) perfectly. Although the devs say v. 3.0 is not yet equipped to handle comments and footnotes it actually does cope with inline annotations and footnotes that have been set up in Scrivener - in Scrivo Pro you see them as text strings within curly brackets which you can edit and sync back. The edit interface in my view is very user-friendly as well as powerful - this is already a capable IOS Scrivener editor with both Binder and Card view and I expect it will continue to get better. If you use Scrivener on Mac it is well worth the outlay.

Brilliant! All Scrivener Mac users will not be disappointed!. This is the perfect companion to the Scrivener Mac OS X application. Everything synchronizes without issue, all my documents are readily available. Split screen support on iPad Pro is amazing for typing up long essays. And I love that I can create a 'backup' by emailing my work to myself an in-built feature of the app. Seriously, get this application. It's excellent.

iCloud sync is useless. Got this so that I could sync it with Scrivener on my Mac through the ICloud Drive. For starters this app cannot read the scrivener files, they must be set up in a rtf file. Next, while scrivener can be set up to sync I cannot make this app sync. Best it will do will be to save a separate rtf file that must be cut and paste into the folder that the scrivener syncs to. Could have done all of that with a simple text editor & saved the expense on this. This thing doesn't sync like I believed it would. It's too much trouble for me to use. Waste of money.

Stay away.. This app wiped out four years of work. It converted all my scrivener files to its own format and then they simply vanished from my iCloud account. Unfortunately I didn't spot it until iCloud had synced all three Macs and both iPads.... No warning dialogs. So there's about four years of work gone - precisely the reason I keep everything in the cloud.

Could be made easier to use. I cannot see how to export a file as PDF

Great app but I wish it synced.. I love this app been using it for quite sometime on my iPad however it doesn’t sync 😐 the documents on my iPad doesn’t show on my phone. I’m concerned if I upgrade my iPad I’ll lose my stuff. Can someone help ?

Wow!. I took a risk on this purchase, because it seemed like a lot of money at the time. But if you're a Scrivener user, you'll find the price is more than worth it. I was blown away by how well-built this app is, and feature rich (3d Touch Support!) without feeling bloated. Even when (if) Scrivener delivers on their own iOS app, I'll continue to use Scrivo Pro if only for the iCloud support. Studio5 has obviously put a lot of work into this app and it shows. Count me a satisfied user.

Crashes. I can hardly get into this app anymore without it crashing on me.

Enjoying this app. I really have enjoyed this app even though at times you have to learn a little bit of its intricacies of doing the verbal interaction commands but regardless I highly recommend this app.

Jury’s out on this one. Crashes when trying to open my Scrivener file. Too bad. Hoped to use it with my iPad while on the road, but no go.

nice. there are a few bugs but they're pretty small. good app.

Shuts phone and iPad down. I just downloaded my Scrivo and not only do I not get access to my scrivener files but it freezes, and then shuts down, my phone altogether. I need a refund on this one asap!

READ ONLY if you use tables!. Not impressed. Apparently if your Scrivener projects use tables (as mine do), Scrivo Pro CANNOT EDIT! So until they make changes if your document uses tables you can only look at your projects. 😒

Great app and software. I've started using scrivener on my mac book about a year ago. Now I'm also using Scrivo pro for iPad and it syncs well with Drop Box. If you're looking for a program that lays out your thoughts and ideas the way you prefer. This is the program/app to use. It takes some learning but it's not complicated and well worth it. I'm a novice when it comes to story writing but would never switch to a basic text program after using Scrivener.

Overall perfect substitute for Scrivener. When I got this it was a few updates ago. It was perfect. I could sync. With my Scrivenor program on my computer for FREE. Some features don’t seem to work anymore - mainly the magnify. When I contacted them they said it was due to the IOS updates and they were working on it. That was almost a year ago. Syncing and editing between this app and scrivener work perfectly (I use Dropbox to store my files).

Not compatible with iOS version of Scrivener. Actually, I’m not sure it’s compatible with any version of Scrivener. Basically, you get empty projects both ways. If it worked it would be nice, since Scrivener for iOS doesn’t support tables.

Awesome. I can now work on my Scrivener files on my phone or any computer using Dropbox. All the content is there. Excellent app!

Won’t import Scrivener files. This app won’t do the one thing I bought it for. It doesn’t recognize or open scrivener files. Complete waste of money and time.

Menu is difficult to follow. I am having difficulty detecting and accessing features.

Impossible to figure out .. I spent a whole morning trying to get this Scrivener to sync to my Mac Book Pro. Waste of time. I like Scrivener on my Mac but will not sync to iPad Pro. This is a real bummer. The instructions are way too complicated.

Great addition to Scrivener. I have only recently downloaded this app, followed shortly thereafter by the software Scrivener. The two work beautifully together. While the software bears the heaviest burden, Scrivo allows me to bring my work with me so that I can write anywhere the inspiration hits. Its ability to synchronize with Dropbox and Scrivener means I will always have the latest version of my projects available at any time and on either device. Scrivo is feature-rich, and can easily serve as a stand-alone tool for any writer! Don't pass this one up!

The best app for writing!. I use this app to write up all of my notes, and drafts. I especially like the option to hear my writing . It makes a big difference to hear what I wrote. It has so many features, that it has become my default writing app. This app has made me a better writer. It makes writing fun.

Complete waste of money. Basically, it's a $20 notepad. Skip it.

Great app. This app just works and works well. I've used Scrivener for years and love it, but it doesn't have an IPad app which I believe is necessary. Now this app comes along and syncs with Scrivener via Dropbox. It works perfectly. If you're a Scrivener user with an IPad, you should get this app. It's worth the money.

Great app! Thank you. Thank you for developing this great app!! I have been waiting to download my projects directly from Dropbox and I haven't found a problem yet. It's been wonderful to be able to sneak in some more writing time throughout the day when my computer isn't with me.

Great !. Made writing on all my electronic devices a breeze. Syncs perfect with scrivener...Deserves 5 stars!

Use it at your own risk. Well, using this app once was more than enough. I installed it on my iPad 2 and opened files in my Scrivener project in Dropbox. Some of them opened fine, others just showed a blank page. I clicked “Sync,” figuring it was maybe a syncing problem. Well, the files then synced just fine; when I called them up in Scrivener on my MacBook, several of the files were blank. Good thing Scrivener backs up work. And this is the Pro version; I paid $15 for an app that could have wiped out at least 10% of my mostly finished novel.

Stinks Don't waste your money!!!. I purchased this software the pro and the regular for my iPad and I could not get to the corkboard. Sent three or 4 emails to the "support" ha, ha. No response, still no response real waste of money don't bother.

Best Scrivener Integration yet!. This app, for the most part, "just works". The only downside for me, is that it does not support tables yet. I use this feature all the time. The pop up when opening a table says that it will be supported soon. I hope that soon is 'soon'! The rate of development certainly has been rapid thusfar. Go buy it!

Not a fan. I got this app thinking it was the official Scrivner. It apparently is not. Unfortunately, I kept having syncing issues and ended up losing some writing I had done. Luckily I had already printed a hard copy. I would not say this app works in a logical way. It has been disappointing.

Involved developers!. More than any other of my apps, the developers seems to be constantly adding features and enhancing this app based on feedback. Well done!!

Excellent. Provides a great mobile solution for scrivener users.

Infuriating. It worked well at first. Then a few things made me decide never to use it again: 1. It is impossible to reorganise folders. They keep becoming subfolders and it takes ages to get them back out. 2. Entire folders disappear for no good reason. Sync and everything is there. Open it again and several random folders are gone. 3. When recovering this mess of missing folders, words are not displayed in all files. In other words, it shows that the file contains words, but none are visible when opening it. I would not recommend using this software and will be switching to something else. It's just too risky and frustrating to keep losing time and work like this.

Very Good. I bought the writers boundle and really enjoy it. It’s good could use some work but over all like the way it since with Dropbox. Sometimes there’s problems with that but overall it works well.

Looks good. Doesn't work on my iPad 2. On paper this seems like a good and thorough app to use with scrivener. And perhaps with a newer iPad it may work as good as it looks. However with my iPad 2, The app freezes and does not save anything written

One extra feature over Scrivener for IOS. Scrivo Pro has a text to speech read-aloud feature. I don't see any mention of that feature in Scrivener for IOS.

Not from Scrivener. This is a 3rd party app. Works ok but sync does not work.

STOP! Constant ERROR Message w/Dropbox. Downloaded this app. Attempted to open a Dropbox file. Constantly received ERROR message. Never got to use this stupid thing--and from what other reviewers posted, apparently, this developer hasn't bothered to investigate why this is happening. Translation: collects the money, and laughs all the way to the bank. As for the few positive reviews? I have to wonder if those were actually posted from the developer's cronies. Save your money and your time.

Maybe this version is lame. I guess all the good reviews are for an older version or maybe for android or something. I’ve had nothing but issues. Font style and size keep doing whatever it wants to often changing mid sentence. I can’t get it to sync with the file on my laptop so IDK what I’m going to do with the stuff I’ve written in the app. The way the font keeps changing maybe I’ve already lost a lot if work. Waste of time and money

Not so good. 1. Does not open empty docs such as those used for planning what to write. 2. Does not pull across flags assigned in Scrivener. I noticed this just in 5 minutes. Has some interesting pluses but to find these glaring problems this fast is pretty bad.

Pretty Good. I took a chance on this app with it being 99 cents for a limited time. It works nicely and I have no issues using it. The only thing is it doesn't show scrivener's character sheet template correctly.

App crashes.. Simple as that. Plus it's not eligible for refund so think twice. Scrivener will have its own app at the end of July 2016

This app is incredible.. I really do not understand why some give this a low rating ? This is a great asset for any type of writing.

No import of content. I tried three times to import a project and everything but the content imported. Tried to delete and reinstall app, then reinstall project, same problem. Emailed app creator. No response. Sent Twitter message. No response. Don't waste your money.

ScrivoPro Does It All Now!!. Scrivo Pro allows me to work Scrivener on ALL MY DEVICES. The automatic "Go To First" app for anything I want in writing. Scrivener missed the boat by not including these services. Thank You Scrivo Pro.

For Scrivener users, this is a hope. For those of you like myself who used earlier version, there were quite few glitches, which made this app look worse than what really was. Now with the latest version, I feel like app is finally at the version 1.0 i.e. usable day to day. This app will allow you to sync your desktop Scrivener project including binder structures. It now allows us to create new project and sync onto Dropbox. Basically, it has a core function to be able to use as a Scrivener companion. There are still several missing features, but being a beta tester and seeing how hard the developers are working (see almost weekly update since January release), this app has a real hope. - You can import PDF i.e. even HTML via conversion to PDF from other app to Scrivo, then put that into Scrivener Project and Sync to Dropbox for later editing in Desktop. - Insert some handwriting/drawing. - Index card/cork view mode is supported. Following are some of missing features at the moment (from Desktop Scrivener user perspective). 1. Table rendering/editing is lacking. Current version locks the text file containing table to avoid unintended editing and loss of the format. Temporary workaround for those who use Scrivo a lot is separate table file on its own text in Scrivener. 2. Compile. We can save individual file to PDF format, but it won't compile projects, nor it has Markup text support. Apparently dev is working on this. 3. Split Screen - This is work in progress and not yet officially supported. Other features missing and I am hoping to have support. 1. Other cloud support - Currently on Dropbox is supported. Google Drive is not supported. 2. Drawing/handwriting - Not Apple Pencil optimized. Overall, the application as of now is 4 stars but developers are hardworking and rate of feature addition on this is quite rapid. So with that, I give 5 stars for the hope!

POC. This app rips off Scrivener. DO NOT BUY. Get your money back. Bad, Bad, App.

Pages. I want to determine where the next page begins. Can’t i do that?

Great Stuff. I love the night writing mode. I recently downloaded the scrivener app and was disappointed that they didn't have that basic luxury. I'm sticking with Scrivo pro. But I'd really appreciate a compiler function. I want to print all my documents out at once, without a lot of pasting.

Excellent!. I love this. I use Scrivener on my iMac, but now that I have an iPad Pro I can use this app to write on the go much more easily. And then it syncs seamlessly through Dropbox so I always have the most recent draft waiting for me when I'm ready to start writing. Love It.

Easy to use. This is easy to use on an iPad. I'm still trying to figure out how to sync my documents on the iPad with my documents on the MacBook.

Great app! Then again. :-/. Update. I can't access my pages!!! This happened right after I left a good review. So now I give it one star. Please fix. ————— The simplicity is great. Syncs well with Dropbox.

Excellent writing app for writers! Syncs via iCloud too!. At last my iPad Pro has a writing app that syncs seamlessly with desktop Scrivener on my Mac via iCloud! Keep up the good work! PS: Waiting for Multimarkdown support!

To The Rescue!. This app is allowing me to continue my book while waiting for Scrivener to release their iOS version.

Great app for writers. Great app for me finally lets me work on documents for the iPad which is great for revisions and updates

Nice mini-Scrivener. At first I had trouble figuring out how to run it with Dropbox, but after that, the integration with Scrivener worked out well. Now I can drop quick ideas into my novel anywhere, anytime, without version reconciliation headaches. Cool. :)

Does not work on iPad. I bought the Pro version for both phone and iPad. Phone works okay, although it has some glitches. iPad version does not work at all. I open my Dropbox folder to access my Scrivener file except that as soon as I drill down one layer in my folder directory the folders become grayed out and inaccessible. I contacted customer service via email, explained the problem, and got a nice but totally ineffective a response, probably because English is not their primary language. Very disappointing.

Good. Syncing is slow.

Integrates well with scrivener and it has the best keyboard for iPhone/iPad. I love using scrivener, but I do my best writing on my iPhone and iPad. I am actually fastest on the iPhone, believe it or not. I have tried Ulysses, storyskel, Storyst as well and Scrivo Pro is the best of the bunch when it comes to scrivener integration and keyboard usability. In fact, I love the keyboard and when Scrivener for IOS comes out, it better have a keyboard at least as well thought out or I will continue doing my writing on Scrivo. So far syncing has not been an issue at all. I find it pretty seamless, at least for basic story and novel writing. I have both set up a story in Scrivener and worked on it in Scrivo and the reverse. Scrivener opened the Scrivo story without issues. While I love the keyboard and it is best in class, I would like to see even more customization in the form of creating different sets of custom keys. The mouse like arrow keys are especially brilliant. The only reason I am taking a star off the score is the apparent lack on a "night mode". EDIT: they added night mode and as promised I added the star. Now that Scrivener for IOS is out its going to be interesting to see what Scrivo does. While Scrivener is obviously more integrated with the desktop version, Scrivo has features that still make it a good Scrivener editor. At the moment I am using both. May the best one win, but if you want scrivener compatibility at a lower price and some interesting features to boot, Scrivo is still a good choice.

Thank you!. I love being able to write anything I want anywhere I want. Scrivo is perfect.

Looks good. It looks good for creating a project on my iPad and then syncing with my computer to get it into Scrivener. To go the other way you never Dropbox on your computer which was not clear from the instructions provided. I also had to install a few fonts so I'm wondering about the requirements for good performance.

Fantastic App!. From what I read, this app was created before Scrivener was released for Apple. I actually like this better than Scrivener. The easiness of it, coupled with little things like the typewriter sounds, puts this way ahead. I would like to see a manual of sorts or some detailed instructions, though. I am having troubles with exporting to HTML, and other things. I hope that comes in the next or future updates.

Not working! So slow!. I just bought this app and already I want my money back. It is taking f-o-r-e-v-e-r to open anything! It just keeps spinning and spinning. I’ve had to close it several times and go back into it. If had known I was going to have to deal with all this drama, I would have never purchased it! And it’s the pro version. Going to try and get my money back! Don’t waste yours!

App fails to sync with Scrivener, crashes. The app allows you — quite unintuitively — to sync with Scrivener. Problem: when it pulls a Scrivener project from Dropbox, binder items don’t appear. When you try to add a document it crashes. This app offers *nothing* for Scrivener users. Save your money. If you want to use this app because you like *this* app, cool. Go for it. Get it for its own sake. But don’t get it because you’re looking for a cheaper Scrivener on iOS alternative than...well, Scrivener. As for he app itself, when comparing it to Scrivener—it is a fair comparison in this case—it definitely lacks. The keyboard features are good, so there’s that, and it’s not generally an uncomfortable writing experience, but the overall experience is...forgettable. Save your money.

NOTHING TO DO WITH SCRIVNER. Just got an iPad Pro and so I downloaded Scrivo Pro, thinking it was an extension of the SCRIVNER app on my Mac. It is in fact not. I had an issue immediately and lost a huge project I've been working on for over a year. Emailed SCRIVNER for advice as to how to retrieve my work. They informed me that they are not affiliated with ties company. Thankfully got my work back, but I deleted this app, even though it cost a lot of money.

This app is great until you sync it with scrivener. This app has solved my scrivener problem. It may not be perfect, but it's pretty close to what I do in scrivener. I was in love and then it performed a backup/sync and about a days worth of work is gone. I wish I could undo that backup, but unfortunately I cannot.

Unusable since upgrade. This was my go to writing program. Loved the features and smooth typing. Since upgrade it freezes within a few type strokes. Ipad retina, iOs9. I hope bug gets worked out, can't say much more except that the back delete key was involved in all my attempts to get program working.

Lame. I want my money back.

Extremely capable. I'm very impressed how much you can work on your Scrivener projects. Scrivener now has their own iOS app, too.
