STAY AWAY. Don’t buy from this start up. Buds don’t fit right, they do not stay charged properly and the sync/ connection are unreliable. App performs very poorly don’t trust them, they have terrible reviews for a reason. In the beginning I loved these until all the bugs started and customer service is non existent. I’m not interested in providing any additional screenshots. I did so in a chat and the representative was condescending and unprofessional. Astounding that I buy a brand new item that fails after a few months, then the second one has the same exact issue and I made to feel like I did something wrong. The only fix according to customer service and the chat at J bird is I need to find a computer to do a firmware update. In 2020 some people don’t have a computer I only have an iPad how the hell am I supposed to do a firmware update? I don’t have friends that have computers either they have tablets. Then to have the agent actually give me an attitude saying well once you find a computer somewhere will walk you through the update as a response really? Customer service needs to know when a customer is frustrated and should help, Restart would not to be sarcastic And treat the customer as though there an inconvenience.

Amazing utility for an even more amazing product!. These are hands down the best wireless ear buds on the market. This app is something they did not even need to develope for the ear buds to be worth every penny! ⚠️➡️Would earn 5 stars if I weren't experiencing one pesky problem. when I am attempting to create a personalized EQ, and it tells me to adjust the levels until I am able to hear the tone, I am unable to hear any time at all, no matter what adjustment I make. This occurs for each of the frequencies. No tone whatsoever. This still seems to result in a nice EQ, so I would love to hear what an actual personalized EQ sounds like!

New preferred brand. I started with the Jaybird X3 then went to the vistas and I’m not disappointed at all. I never do reviews but for jaybird I’ll make the exception. Anytime I have friends or family wanting to get headphones I always recommend jaybird. I’ll go to them before I go to beats and the fact that you can customize the sound you get out of the headphones just made me fall in love with them even more. Looking forward to what jaybird comes up with in the future keep up the great work with your headphones guys!!!

Personal EQ Update. Just download and updated the Jaybird app and there’s new Personal EQ function where they tune the earbuds to your own personal hearing spectrum via a series of tones. And, I’ll tell you what, holy cow! It’s like a whole new set of headphones. The music is richer than I’ve ever heard and the bass hits so hard it was tickling the hairs in the inside of my ears. When I first bought them I would have given them a 7, but now they’re a 9 for sure. But, only because they want shift in your ear as you move and sweat during a workout. After the update the sound quality is insane!

Better than expected; exceptional.. After days of milling over countless reviews on the internet by various reputable organizations and companies to what ear buds I should purchase to compliment my workout and outdoor activities I concluded on the purchase of the Jaybird Vista. Jaybird Vista true wireless earbuds have exceeded my expectations in the audiophile department. The sound quality has been amazing coupled with the App! I also enjoy: The comfortable stay in my ear design; being able to use only the left or right earbud only; and automatic turn on and turn off feature when removing and returning them from the case. My only constructive criticism would be the color choices. I chose the Nimbus Gray to easily locate. I would like to see bright and vibrant colors for these ‘active ear buds’. Conservative colors are great for the office, work, etc. I prefer bright cheerful fun colors for working out and exciting outdoor activities.

Great app, good controls of buds. I continue to be impressed with my Jaybird earphones as well as the app. Today, the app prompted me to upgrade the software of the ear buds - an easy seamless process. Afterwards, I spent additional time playing with the Eq settings of the app and exploring other features. I love the control over sound I have and the ability to save any settings I want and toggle between them easily. All this in top of my satisfaction with the earphones themselves (I have the Tarahs). I’m torn between what I like more - the Tarahs at a reasonable price of my Dr Dre beat3’s that cost almost $200.

A whole new playing field. When I first got my X3s they sounded almost identical to the X2s, but then I downloaded the Jaybird app and the similar sound quality of the X2s and X3s diverged greatly as the app gives the people the power to fully customize their earbud sound quality. If the people want more bass, then they can use the app to do that, as well as improving the highs and mids. The Jaybird app also makes it very easy to make and customize your own sound profiles so no song is left behind as well as selecting other people’s profiles too. In conclusion the Jaybird app is an amazing edition to the X3s as it gives these already great earbuds even more to love.

Decent Buds, Mid-Level App. I came from the X3/X4 generation, so the Vistas were something I had to get used to. I prefer connected buds for various reasons, but it’s unlikely JayBird will ever produce more, so it’s a moot point. My Vistas are good, but not nearly as loud or bassy as the X3/X4’s. They’re loud, but could be louder. Sometimes either bud has issues connecting to their container for charging, despite wiping down both sets of contact points (in case and on buds). I’m not sure what the issue is, but it’s frustrating. On both the X3/X4s and the Vistas, the right bud has problems staying in my ear, but that’s probably an anatomy issue and not on JayBird. Lastly, and the point of this review, is the maddening inability to turn off any sort of noise cancelling on the buds. You HAVE to have the option of using either active noise cancelling or a form of “noise bypass” that lets ambient noise in… or OFF. Can I get the option to disable noise cancelling or amplification OFF entirely, please? There’s a button combination on the buds that turns the noise cancellation/amplification on and I have randomly turned it on before on accident, which, if I had the option to disable it entirely, wouldn’t be a problem at all. I did not buy these for noise cancellation/amplification, I bought them for music in my ears. Please give us this option WITHOUT having to pick cancellation or amplification.

Great app for even better headphones. This app gives full customizable control of your listening experience. It’s only missing one feature. The ability to listen to either headphone independently, but that’s not really a priority, but at this price point it’s expected. Range could use a bit of tweaking. You can’t get more than ten feet from your phone. BUT… all in all they are wonderful. Sound quality is the best I’ve experienced. Fit and finish are exceptional. IP68 waterproof. Just an amazing experience

Information. We buy your product. Shouldn’t that be enough. At the very least we should be able to opt out of you spying on where we go and just collecting, selling or anything else you wish to do with our personal information. Plenty of people would still let you scoop up any and all their private information. It’s not necessarily for an app (native to the company) that lets me control the functions of my personal earbuds. To collect any information other than hard and software of the earbuds themselves. Companies should have more ethics than this.

Pros and cons. The headphone are amazing, for the most part. The wind interference was the only bad review I read before purchasing, and I can say that it is unbearable. When talking on the phone outside, the slightest breeze makes it impossible for the person on the other end to hear, and typically results in ending the call out of respect for them. There are some slight issues with connectivity but I believe any Bluetooth device has these, as it’s a technology almost as old as dinosaurs and needs to be revamped completely or replaced.

Awesome fit and sound!. Right before I bought these I tried out the AirPods and they just weren’t for me. The fit was ok but I felt they were going to fall out. These on the other hand for great! And sound even better!!! I personally don’t even use those flexible ear anker things. I use the comfy tip and they just stay in. Especially using the JayBird App to customize the sound it sounds waaaayyyy better than stock out of the box imo. There are plenty of preset so no need to be scared off about changing the equalizer. The most popular one called “Hi Def Audio” is my personal favorite. Hope this helps but honestly really worth the money especially since they were on sale on Target for $99 instead of the usual $149.

Jaybird X3's are Premium Earbuds. I've been using these for almost a year now and they've lived up to both the hype and my expectations. The Jaybird app allows for myriad possibilities in terms of customized soundstages and works flawlessly with iOs 11 and Apple watch 3 settings. I renewed my subscription to Tidal HiFi in order to take full advantage of the X3's capabilities and I'm really glad I did. The earbuds are extremely comfortable to wear and the Bluetooth connection has both great range and solid pairing. In terms of battery life, I can easily get around 6 hours of use from a single charge almost a year later. I prefer to use the Comply foam tips rather than silicone because they provide a tighter seal, which to me provides a much better sound. I purchased a replacement set directly from Comply because the issued sets had simply worn out, as to be expected.

Almost Perfect. When I first put them on I was concerned because the volume was low and the bass was low it turns out I didn’t have them in properly. When I had them in correctly they were amazing. Pros out weigh the cons. When I’m at the gym and work they are great . I can’t hear a thing around me. I love the bass and the volume. When I’m running I had a couple of Bluetooth snags, they cut out, the instructions suggest to wear your device on the right side. There is a slight crackling and distortion when I turn the volume up, but it’s not on every song and it’s not super noticeable. I love them though

It’s great, when it wants to work. This app is amazing as far as audio customization. They have a handful of preset eq set-ups, or you can customize your own. Additionally they have active noise canceling and you can change how much ambient noise you want to let in. I’m using the Vista 2’s and the app allows for customization of the earbud button functions. The only problem; it doesn’t always connect to my earbuds. Music will be playing, meaning the Bluetooth connection to my phone working as it should, but the app won’t recognize the Bluetooth connection. To be able to make any adjustments/customizations to the sound, the app needs to be open and connected to my ear buds. So all the awesome features of the app are useless when it inconsistently connects to my Vista 2’s. If it worked as it should all the time, every time, hands down this would be a 5⭐️ app. But it doesn’t, so it isn’t.

Great features!. While audiophiles often suggest that equalizers are not necessary since studio engineers already optimize music recordings, it’s a nice feature to have available, especially if you’re in an area with lots of background noise or have ears sensitive to lows or highs. And speaking of areas with background noise, the active noise canceling (ANC) does work well with the Vista2 earbuds. I’ve not yet had to use the GPS tracking, but it also seems to work. If you do choose an equalizer setting, I highly recommend Raul Ochoa Hernandez’s “Bose signature sound” for a richer listening experience from your earbuds. It’s not too bass-y, which is nice. ~ Be mindful though: it does increase the volume, so turn your volume down before using it. ~

If You an iPhone and cant choose earbuds, and you workout get Jaybird a. I was about to get the Samsung buds for my iPhone because I like how it slim and not bulky, but the functionality features that are missed in IOS devices made me hesitate on getting it, my logic was if I’m paying full price of something I want all of its advertised features, then I was suggested the Jaybirds they are still slimmer than BOSE and the sound quality is great, plus all of the features I would have lost from the Samsun are here, and to top it off they are further more water resistant, 6 hours of play time might not be a lot, but for a guy that only needs them to run or workout, where, at most, I’m training for 2 hours, this is perfect, I wish I could just cover the jaybird logo to make the bud blend in more in my ear, but I can deal with it.

Need more features for the Jaybird Vista Please!!!!!. You guys need to add the option where u can ping a high pitch nose in the headphones say like if they fell under the Sofia so it can make it easier for you to find them. Also can u guys add the feature like other headphones have called hear through so u can hear your surrounding also , add the feature where two devices can be connected at once. Last feature it needs is Add a next bottom prompt so we can activate Siri say like Double press and hold either ear buds. Also can’t u guys show the battery of the case too through the phone? That would be a neat feature

Jaybird Vista. Jaybird Vistas are great all around earbuds. The sound is all right out of the box, but the sound improves greatly when you utilize the Jaybird app to fine tune the sound profile to suit your ears. In fact, Vistas have the best sound compared to Bose Sport, Apple Powerbeats Pro, Apple AirPods Pro, and various others I’ve used though the years. You can fine tune sharp highs, clear mid range, and booming bass. Excellent fit with little “wings” that help hold them in your ears. No issues with fatigue when worn for hours. Great durability, however, and this is why they get a four star rating instead of five, one of the earbuds drops out, that is, the sound fades to so low it can barely be heard when I sweat heavily, usually running in 90 plus degrees heat. I’m not sure why this happens, but I think the earbud fills with sweat and degrades the sound volume (sorry so gross). I clean the buds after every use, and put them on the charger, and they work fine the next morning. This issue occurs with every model Jaybird I have ever owned. Odd. At any rate, if you don’t sweat a river, as I do, Jaybird Vistas are fantastic. By the way, no other person I know has experienced the sound issue as mentioned. It’s probably just me. Perhaps the sound issue is fixed with Vista 2. If these Vistas ever break I will buy Vista 2. I highly recommend Jaybird Vista.

My Jaybirds Vista. The sounds quality is amazing and especially love the ability to personalize the type of sound quality through the app very comfortable to wear even over a long period of time and stays in place even through sweating during a workout which is in my opinion is one of the greatest quality’s because I can just put them in and forget that they are there and be in the zone of my run and enjoy great sounding music through my workout. I have tried others and they can eventually work there way out ,or you have to constantly readjust them in your ear during your workout and that is really distracting, also they can be uncomfortable and cause some irritation after wearing. With my jaybirds I have no distractions just comfortable great sounding music through my workouts. Sincerely A satisfied customer

Best I have ever used.. Great fit. Lots of ways to wear. Many different sizes and types of earbuds to find a good fit. Perfect for the gym, cycling, airplane. So comfortable you may forget you have them on. The app is so cool and being able to shape the EQ settings and save is awesome. You can create a profile with the app where you can name and save your settings and use setting that other people have created. The app tells you if and how many times your profile has been saved - necessary NO - but a sweet extra detail. The sound is better than many other much more expensive buds - excellent bass, excellent highs and mids. What they have done with imaging is mind boggling it is so good. Battery life is around 3 hours with an additional 3 hours with the extra attachable battery. I will not use another earbud as long as these are on the market. The only downside is people may try to talk to you because they are so discreet at which point you kindly yell “I can’t hear you!” and give them finger as you point to your earbuds. 🤘🏽😎

Awesome. I’m a granite, marble, and stone fabricator and sculptor. I needed something to hold up to water, stone dust, pneumatic tool and air compressor noise. No doubt, these Run XT’s are up to the task. The app is seamless with Run XT’s. Great maneuverability throughout all voice and music apps. I love what the app has to offer, sweet equalizer, music designed to get you through out the whole day regardless of whatever activity you’re focused on. The app is filled with beautiful graphics and one touch options that are quick and easy. Over the last 26 years I have had several Bose, SHURE, Underwater Audio, and Apple in ear and over the ear products. These Run XT’s are pulling there weight and are proving to be very user friendly, comfortable, low profile, durable, and providing great clear sound even in the noisiest of environments. I love them and they have made my work day that much more enjoyable.

Very useful. This is the third pair of Jaybird headphones that I’ve had but it’s the first pair in about 4-5 years. The app has changed a lot since then but it’s still very useful. There are a lot of features that you can use to improve the experience with the headphones. It has a find my buds feature, find my case (for the Vista 2), the EQ works really well and can totally change your audio experience. The app even has some presets created by some athletes. If I have one complaint it’s that the app can be a bit overwhelming, I wish they would condense some of the features. Great app nonetheless.

As Good As I Need. I really appreciate being able to customize my own equalization settings. The buds sound quite good. They paired with my iPhone 11 easily in a few seconds. I’d say they block maybe 70% of outdoor noise. Good enough. I don’t like not being able to hear anything beyond my earbuds anyway. I’ve never run down the battery but then again I doubt I’ve ever had them in continuously more than two hours or so at one time. They fit well and at the end of a couple hours I can’t say my ears are begging me to take them out. I think they’re better sounding than some more expensive buds. I’ll very likely purchase Jaybirds again if and when I need a new set.

Phenomenal Ear Buds-Vista. Everything I ever wanted in a pair of ear buds, they figured it out. All the little details we all always wanted in our headphones, from comfort, quality, charging time, aesthetics, waterproof, and best of all..their own app. The app allows you to adjust your sound equalizer to your own exact specs...not to mention dozens of other features that will allow you to personalize your buds just the way you want them! I highly recommend this product and and app, in my opinion, far superior to that of Apple’s compatible product.

Great App For Fine Tuning. Have had four pairs of Jaybird Headphones (Two each of X3 & X4). Sound great, quick charge, and high quality sound. The app enables you to not only customize for your style, but customize for the music you listen to. No complaint with the app. Only complaint? As noted, I’ve gone through four pair of Jaybird headphones in the past four years. I just paired up some new X4s that I purchased a month ago in anticipation of another headphone failure. Today was the day. All three of my previous Jaybird Headphones failed when the metal cover the earbud connects to, came apart form the inner speaker enclosure. So far, I’d say each pair has lasted about one year... give or take. I understand planned obsolescence, but would hope Logi / Jaybird would try to figure this out. Not that hard. Logi / Jaybird. Do you provide repair services?

About to give up on Jaybird. For years, I’ve defended my Jaybird Tarah buds against more “elite” options. “The app customization is amazing” is usually my go-to argument. But I’m getting really, really tired of the app giving me the “can’t find your earbuds” message. It used to happen intermittently, but now it happens all the time. I haven’t been able to connect since the last update, and I’ve had it. If you can’t or won’t fix it for the multiple users having this issue (and judging from the reviews, I’m far from the only one with this problem), then no hard feelings: I’ll just move on to another earbud company, and this will be the LAST set of Jaybirds I buy.

Great app for a great product!. I’ve been a fan of Jaybird products for years and recently upgraded to the Jaybird Vista 2’s which work seamlessly with the app to adjust the sound to match my tastes exactly. If there was one thing I wish that could be improved with the app, it’s that in the button assignment screen, I only have limited options as to what control can be assigned to what gestures. The way it currently is, I cannot have volume controls AND Siri activation programmed at the same time as they are limited to the same activation gesture.

Good to go. Sound quality is on point and range from my phone is more than reasonable. Often times I wear them while doing basketball drills with no issues. I love how the range in sound is so clear and enjoyable from hip hop to gospel to classical. It even sounds good while on a phone conversation. I haven’t had any complaints from anyone, even after asking. I would have given five stars, but since it does sync with my Apple Watch, it’s a four. Can’t complain too much about having to bring my phone especially when I used to listen to and love 8 tracks or a Walkman. I remember walking with a boom box on my shoulder. Anyway, it’s worth it to me and I’m one of the rare people who always has an earbud popping out both ears, especially my right. But these right here stay in even while playing ball. Good luck in your search, and I hope this helps.

Finally got it right!. I’ve been a Jaybird customer since day one. The original versions had short life spans due to charging and waterproofing issues but their function was so good (when they worked) it was worth getting new ones under warranty every time they stopped working. Since the X2 they have gotten MUCH better and now with the X3’s they’re pretty much impossible to break. I use them everyday and put them through every possible condition around the world as an athlete and extreme sports enthusiast. I just passed the one year mark with the X3 and they’re still going! so for an average, gym-going/runner day to day user these will last years if not forever. Don’t forget to use the app to tune your earbuds because the factory settings are basic. Thanks for putting the time into get it right, Jaybird. -Customer for life!

Works only 40-50% of the time. My X4 earphones connect flawlessly via Bluetooth to my iPhone 11 and my iPhone 12 Pro. They connect each and every time. This app is another matter entirely. When it works, it’s great to be able to track where you last had your earphones and to save EQ settings. The problem is that it will only connect to the earphones 40-50% of the time. I’ve now had several “upgrades” of this app. Each time, they fiddle with the graphics but they don’t seem to bother with making it work. I’ve gone through *all* of the troubleshooting steps on their site. I’ve even filed Support Tickets. And they don’t ever get back to me. The earphones are great. This app is just plain awful and should be dropped by both Jaybird and the App store.

Jaybird App is Dialed!. I’ve been using the Jaybird App for 4 consecutive years and don’t have any plans on stopping. Even though I use it quite minimally it’s very easy to understand and user friendly, and functional. Not superfluous as most products can be, and the creating your personal sound with the Vista made it better! One thing I would ask is if they made the personal preset section allowed to be saved so others can share the EQ settings to dial in the settings and get a different perspective on another’s taste. Also, create a function where you can choose to re download the firmware. Keep it coming!

Easy To Use and Understand. I was initially wary about downloading the app because I thought it would be another janky EQ modification app. After downloading it I was happy to see all the different ways you could personalize your listening experience, such as through EQ, Button mapping, or other cool features. This website also allows for nifty profile presets and settings that can be carried over from different devices. I have two phones that vary in sound quality, but with the app I can just sign in and change the EQ settings to what suits me. It’s a bit overwhelming at first with how much freedom you have, but that’s never a bad thing. 5/5! 👍

Love The Earbuds, Liked The App Until.... Let me start by saying that I love the Jaybird Vistas I own and use them almost everyday. They are perfect for working out or even listening to music while mowing or doing dishes! However, this is an app review and I’m not sure if it’s because I updated to the latest version or what the problem is, but my Jaybirds will no longer connect to the app so I can change the EQs connected to them. It’s a bit frustrating. I seem to have tried everything I could, then I just moved on to my old bass boosting app until they get that kink worked out of the system on the Jaybird app. I liked the MySound app quite a bit when I first got these earbuds and thought it was very intuitive! This experience of connection problems has just cramped the style of the app for me just a tad since I’ve updates 2-3 times, and still no changes to my connectivity issues. (Note: My earbuds work fine and connect to the Bluetooth on my iPhone 11 Pro flawlessly every time) I just would like to use the app every now and again and it hasn’t seemed to work for a couple of weeks at this point.

3rd Pair of Jaybirds. I really do love this brand. Loved my first pair (my dog chewed them up after about a year, had trouble with my 2nd after about 6 months, then Jaybird replaces them with no trouble and even upgraded to the newer version without any extra payment, and looove x4’s. For the gym, bike rides, skate sessions, and my weekly runs. Not for nothing but I've even tried my boyfriends Apple AirPod Pros and I don’t like them near as much as my Jaybirds. Plus I don’t have the fear of losing them if they fall out, chances are the cord is going to keep them around my neck or they will be easier to find.

Vista 2 awesomeness. Can’t explain how convenient these are. Working , working out, mowing grass, loud noises, everything I use them doing everything now. Love the button controls on how to change them, and that’s just the ear buds. I’ve lost them twice now and was able to find them thankfully cause I had set up the app, and location. Love being able to tell the battery level for when I’m not going to be around a charger very happy with these. Hope they let way longer than my last 39$ Bluetooth sets did and that was a while.

Lacking. The onboarding, the customization, the connectivity - every aspect of this app is lacking. I had to uninstall and reinstall multiple times, going to support, to finally get my buds fully connected and paired. Customizing the controls is confusing because they don’t clarify what each control even is (what’s a tap versus a press?!) The customization of the sound is also lacking in explanations of what you are choosing with different presets. I’m really disappointed with Logitech on this one, they typically have great management software and that was half the reason I trusted these buds enough to try them. I’m not entirely sure I’ll keep them.

With Regards to Sound Only. Absolutely one of the best. I will add that the fit in my ear is superb. Easy to place in ear with a great and effective seal every time, and they stay where you put them. Their durability and water resistance is also incredible. Light weight, yet obvious high quality without a doubt, not that weight and quality are related, but people do comment about that. I have literally sampled maybe 30 other comparable products of prices ranging from $30 to $500, and these are my favorite. I like them so much that I couldn’t write a review without saying all of these great things. This is an honest and independent review.

8+ (iOS 13.x). The Jaybird app is orders of magnitude better than those offered by competitors (eg, Bose, Sony, etc.). It has a great UI and offers a number of EQ presets from both the manufacturer and individual users. The latter is where the app shines, as users are able to like and save EQ presets to the preset homepage. By the way, the buds retain applied settings from device to device. This couldn’t be more intuitive. The app also offers a bent of additional settings, including geolocation, button control preferences, power management, etc. Well done, Jaybird. Very well done.

Jaybird Run’s the WORLD. These headsets r tha BOMB! I was worried they wouldn’t stay in my ears but lo & behold, I was wrong. These things r stable & secure. I’ve owned a pair of BlueBuds & a pair of X2’s, both of which sounded great but while running I sometimes had issues w/securing them. These have no such issue once u get the proper adapters. The RUNS sound great but they have audible static at certain decibels (Things I was able to fix w/the app). Connectivity is a breeze as long as ure only connecting to 1 device (using watch for a run & wen done connecting to tablet to watch a show), changing devices means putting them into search mode & reconnecting to the other device (turn Off, then hold on fr 6 sec’s). Things I can live w/for the portability, function & sound these offer.

Pretty slick. Very pleased with the app. Used it on my iPhone 6s & now iPhone 11 with my X3, X4, & currently Tarah Pro. Some handy features, custom presets, button mapping to name a few. Jaybird X3 caught my eye years ago when I was wanting to upgrade from a name brand ‘wrap around the neck’ style (rests around the neck). After about 1 year the cord retract crapped out on one side, then the device stopped working altogether. After extensive research, I decided on the X3’s and have been so pleased with the design of both that product & the app that I’ve stayed loyal to Jaybird for my earbuds ever since. I think they’re priced reasonably, and worth the $ (especially with BestBuy’s protection plan) Hats off to Jaybird & thank you! Keep it up & you will keep a satisfied customer! 👍🏼

Nice Jaybird. I love hear things. I bought These for when I got running or when I don’t want to people to here what I’m listening to. A little pricey BUT you pay for what you get so, plus, free upgrades using the nice app, nice. These have a long range to, I can have my cellphone upstairs and go downstairs and even go into the garage and it still play, wow. Ok glad I bought these instead of the BOSE war buds. Those were to too bulky and I think the reviews said that they both sound about the same. I think jaybird was a bit cheaper so.....good product!

Jaybird quality has gone downhill. Stay away from Jaybird. I agree they used to have good products; I liked the freedom and the original vista. But these new vistas that I’ve had for over a year now are still buggy. They randomly disconnect during phone calls, volume consistency is a problem (they either can’t be turned all the way down or can’t be turned up enough so they need to be re-docked to reset them), and the app is faulty. I can literally be listening to a podcast and the app will say they are “not connected”. You need to re-dock the headphones, turn off/on your Bluetooth on your phone, and sometimes force close the app just to get it to connect in the app. The last straw that made me write this review is now the app won’t open. I’ll need to delete the app and re-install it to fix it (this is not the first time this has happened). Stay away.

The app works as of 8/2/23. Idk why people are saying the app doesn’t work. The app works perfectly for me. I paired them with my iphone first before downloading the app and then I downloaded the app and there’s been absolutely no issues at all LOL. RIP jaybird you will be missed. At least you went out with a bang. The vista 2’s are one of the best truly wireless earbuds I’ve ever tried. Had the beats pro fit for a while and have been using the airpods pro for 2+ years before that but I always loved jaybird. Used the x3 and and x4 religiously before going to the airpods pro. I am glad I am back for the last product they will ever release 😌

They continue to impress. I used to have the Jaybird X3 and they offered great sound quality and these are impressive. I love the app that lets you customize for different listening experiences. For example: I have a higher voice emphasis equalizer for audiobooks and one heavier on bass for dance music. They are really comfy and I sometimes forget they are even on. IMPORTANT: always put them in the case, because they are easier to lose. Also, download the Jaybird My Sound app, because it lets you find your earbuds, if you lose them. Battery life is great. My complaint is that people don’t always hear me well, if it is noisy outside. I feel this is more a problem, than with the Apple wired headsets. This is something that needs improvement. Still, I would not let this discourage you from buying them. Happy customer, once again.

Great Bass. I was hesitant getting this headset because I don’t like the way it looks on my ear.. it’s kinda sticking out.. but when I wore it a cuople of times.. it doesn’t look bad.! But the real catch is the way it sounds... I like bass a lot because I want a feeling like I’m in a club. When I’m home I wear this a lot and I have those neon lights that resemble the clubs because you know.. pandemic .. so I want to feel that real thump and this headset gives it that..and even with jumping and running and dancing, it won’t fall out of your ear,.. And with the accompanied app with so many choices of preset available, you can’t go wrong with that and you can make up your own setting to match your personality.

Happy customer. I originally owned Powerbeats Pro headphones because I’m an Apple loyalist however, they have a major manufacturing issue that causes major breakouts to your ears when wearing them. So my hubby told me about his Jaybirds. He cleaned his and let me try them for a day and......I LOVED THEM the sound quality is actually better and they are the first ears buds that fit in my ear where I don’t need the piece that wraps around the ear to keep them in. I’m soooo happy with this product it was definitely worth purchasing a pair of my own. The great plus was that they had them in my favorite color GREEN. Jaybird you rock!!!!!!

The best wireless headphones. I’ll be simple . Sound , comfort , durability. Everything you need is call Jaybird vista . I had multiple wireless headphones. But for one reason or another they will always fail . So I was used to the Bose headphones. But the ones the cover your whole ears . And one day I saw the Jaybird vista and I was deciding for Bose that I’m used to or the birdman . And I decided to save some money and I went with this set . I’m glad I did cus they are amazing . Just and FYI if you have small ears I can recommend this ones . But other than that try them . You won’t be disappointed ...

My 1st Ear Buds. I’ve always been a old school head phone type of guy. Never like the way that ear buds fit and that messed with the sound and was very frustrating. I’ve never herd of jay bird, so I was on the fence buying these. I wasn’t gonna pay for the over priced others that are on the market just cause of a name. What sold me was dust proof. I’ve used them 7/8 times and love them. They fit great!!! Not loose like the others and the sound is amazing!! Was a struggle at first to figure out the push settings but I’m getting the hang of it. I was really surprised that it had a equalizer setting. I’m still learning but really impressed with the jay birds!!!

Functionality is Great!. ..., but the connectivity issues when using two sources needs improvement. When shutting down one source and connecting to another is clumsy. Voice prompts (to inform me of which source I’m connected to, and which source is on standby) would be great for JayBird to use primarily when my hands are busy and I can’t always look away from what I am doing. My Bose earbuds connect seamlessly, and always has the other source on standby when jumping between the two. Also, has voice prompts.

Ok but constant connect issues. Freedom buds work fine on Bluetooth as do all my others apps etc . This app is always directing me to turn on Bluetooth when it is already on AND my buds are connected . Only fix seems to be delete and reinstall frequently. If I’d paid for it I’d be very peeved. Not a Jaybird fan overall

Love this app with Jaybird Run earphones!. Delivers a great sound. Easy to use. Please can you release a version of this app for Apple Watch - I’m loving pairing my Jaybirds with my Apple Watch but would be even better with the ability to adjust audio presets. Thanks!!!

Jaybird X3 - My Sound app. I do love having an equilizer so i can customize sounds for each genre, then naming it gives it a personal touch. Seeing athletes who have uploaded their own settings gives it a very modern and ‘live’ feel. Easy to use. Loving it.

Terrible Bluetooth connection. Headphones stutter when in my pocket, but perfectly fine when held in my hand closer to my ears! These updates haven’t fixed it - and I have a pair of $230 headphones that are essentially useless

Doesn’t detect earphones well.. When it detects my Jaybird x3 it’s great. However it doesn’t detect right away, I need to turn my earphones off then on again.

Don’t upgrade your phone.... I had no issues using my jaybird runs with the app for nearly 2 years on the iPhone 6s I had but now I have upgraded finally the app no longer can “connect” to my earphones. The phone pairs perfectly via Bluetooth so this is an app issue, nothing on the discussion board helped me but I am evidently not the only one that is experiencing this! Without being able to control the sound using the app the earphones are very much not worth the money- very disappointing

Easy to use. Very easy to use and effective. Good.

Great App. Able to change output is worth the price.

Since latest update 3.3.2 Wireless drops?. Love my Jaybird X3s and the App. I have noticed since the update: 3.3.2 build 339 my Wireless connection keeps dropping out - even though my iPhone is close; only 50cm away from my X3s. I can hear it keep saying head phones connected countless times whilst I’m walking or just wearing them in the car etc. Testing this issue further; I only have them connected with no music playing - so I can hear how many drops & reconnects. It’s too many to be normal connect drops due to interference or out of range. These connection drops are just that drops. If it keeps happening I might have to contact support. Aside from that. Well done Jaybird 👍🏻 Thanks.

Love em. Easy use, great be able to change set up instantly , depending on the beats listening to👌🏼

X3 moving forward.... Traded up from my original Jaybird Freedom pair - better Bass and performance.

A must have for runners. Being a runner, I broke many headphones because of sweat and now I think I hit the jackpot ... app is awesome ... loads of customizations ... amazing sound from this tiny monster ... fit is secure ... highly recommended ...

Simplisticly Good. Get yourself jaybird x3 It's simple , good quality music

Good App. Easy to use, it's got find my buds which has saved me once

Amazing Sound!. Really impressed with the Jaybird headphones and app, they work so well together. Highly recommend to anyone who is a musician, or simply just loves music

GREAT. Simple and easy UI which is easy to change the sound signature and create your own

Great Sound. Not a bluetooth fan when it comes to earphones/headphones. But this is a game a changer for me. Great sound and good quality.

Fantastic. At last! Earbuds that fit and a great app to make the deal sweeter. Well done Jaybird!

Game Changer. An app that lets you adjust EQ for your tunes on the fly. Who wouldn’t want that?!

Great app. Makes you sound an easy experience.

How great are Jaybird’s!. Love the X3’s and this application really optimises their performance. Is easy to use and such a winning product.

Make music your own!. A really great pair of in-ear headphones and app to go with it so that you can customise music the way you like it. The app is easy to use and the earphones give you freedom to move without falling out.

Wasn’t expecting this. A temporary update to my review - the app and headphones are obviously still great, but since this latest update the app cannot connect to my X3s (it says “turn bluetooth on” even though I’m actually listening to music with the headphones at the time). 🙁 Really awesome app, love the responsiveness, and customisation is awesome! X3s are great headphones too.

Nice app, wonderful earphones (Freedom). Playlists proposed are also pretty good

Great app for awesome earbuds. My best tech purchase in late 2019 continues to deliver during COVID-19. From being my favourite Bluetooth headset for music and podcasts it is now my go to for all the social distancing video conferences and internet calls I am doing. Crystal clear music and voices on calls topped off with a microphone that delivers my content to my clients and colleagues. The app is the icing on the cake. Well deserved 5 stars.

App won’t clear notifications. The app won’t clear notifications, permanently says there’s 7 notifications, tried uninstalling/reinstalling, was even there before I logged back in and when you click on the icon it says “no notifications ahhhhh the silence...” yet then still says there’s notifications, just like an email icon

Great App!. Love the app and everything you can do with your jaybirds.

Great. Compared to other Bluetooth and audio tuning apps this works brilliantly!

Cannot connect the Jaybird RUN with an iphone X through the app. Bought the jaybird run and they worked fine with my 6s plus but cannot use them with my iPhone X, the app keeps scanning and cannot connect with them. Kind of disappointed as they are a good pair of true wireless.

Vista Audio Controls. Thanks for updating the button controls to handle audio playback correctly. This is what we’ve been asking for since the RUN series. Good job.

Annoying voice over. The sound out of my Jay Bird freedom is great. However, if you are listening to something relaxing and the battery is getting low the voice interruption to tell you what percentage of power is left in your ear phone is extremely load and spoils your listening pleasure. I am not sure how to set up the ear phones to lower the voice over volume.

Mean👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽. The App is amazing. Its nice not to be connected to my phone by a wire. Wires are so dated.

Essential for the Supported Jaybirds. While there are many apps created for headphones on the market don’t be fooled this one is essential. With a large range of presents and specially created settings this is a no-brainer. For those who are knowledgeable in setting graphic equaliser this is a way to fine tune the listening experience. Brilliant!

Freedom 2’s power off while charging. Since last update, whenever battery pack is connected to my Freedom 2 earbuds they intermittently power off. Happens approx every 10 mins. This occurs on 2 different battery packs. This did not occur prior to last update.

Jaybird 3. Best workout earphones! Sound quality very impressive! Comfort like you aren’t wearing a thing!

No longer supported. App unable to open on the latest on IOS 17.2.1. Constantly crashes. Love my Jaybird Vista 2s but no longer supported and app not updated for more than 1 year. Disappointing.

A1. excellent quality for the price!!! ... in everything 👌🏼

Disappointed. The app no longer supports my Freedom f5 phones. It’s a cynical way to get customers to upgrade.

Great app. Easy to use and very intuitive!

Would recommend. Great headphones paired with an awesome app

Tarah Pro - Not a good start. I seem to be dealing with inconsistent drop outs whilst picking up calls, more so with calls via messenger. They’re supposed to have 14hrs of charge but after having them on for 6hrs while at work the battery died. Following this, after having the headphones on charge over night, having them on for 10 minutes and taking ONE phone call they tell they’re at 80%. Huge fail ! Mine will be going back today for another pair and if not up to scratch I won’t bother with them. It’ll be back to Bose Very disappointing considering the price

App is great but.... But what is the point of the app if it doesn’t even work??? The app can’t connect to my Jaybird’s at all ! It’s been probably 4 months and there is still no update to fix this problem. Hope the devs are ACTUALLY trying to fix this.

Works well great sound.. Works well great sound.

Love my Jaybird, love the App’s sound profiles. Brilliant wireless earbuds, made even better with customisable sound profiles that work for all your music apps...

Absolutely love these earphones 😍. The Jaybird X3’s that I bought are really awesome, The app is sweet and I haven’t noticed ANY bugs at all through the entire time I’ve been using it, also the way you can customise presets and share them to an entire community is incredible! The headphones themselves are so adaptable

Always shows outstanding notifications. I go in and view notifications and there is nothing new. But it won’t ever clear the 1 in notifications hence the app drives you nuts with a constant 1 red in the app on your main iPhone screen Also can’t delete old sets of buds from the find my earphones section

Awesome app with awesome feature. Tracking the headphone feature is a brilliant idea! === New update: I noticed although my X3 works perfectly with my iPhone, it didn’t actually register to the Jaybird apps unless I open the apps and kept it running. I would think it would have registered or synced to the apps in the background even though the apps was not launched. This means the Find Your Buds feature doesn’t fully work. There were occasions when I’ve switched on my bud at home and switched it off after usage, but the apps still reported an old location at work a few days. Is this normal?

Jaybird Freedom 2. These are the best sports headphones I’ve ever owned . The fit is superb and the sound quality is amazing. The Jaybird app is great to set up your own sound . Highly recommend, 🙏 🎧 Steve G

Frustrating. This app doesn't update like normal applications by providing a wireless sync to firmware via app uodates. Frustratingly you have to pretend it's the 90s and connect Jaybird Runs via cable, to PC and download latest updates / firmware. This app is further useless by the degree of difficulty in pairing with their own app and using the present EQ options. Utter waste of time

Won’t connect to app?. I have the jaybird X2 model and when I tried to connect them to the app but it just keeps on saying “scanning” and it never stops. I’ve tried everything, restarting my phone, restarting the earphones, I wasn’t playing music, they were connected via Bluetooth and everything but won’t seem to connect

Hype. Nice interface

App Crashes. I’ve had had no issues with this app before. But now I can’t seem to open it to change my sound features without it closing down on it self. I have the the Vistas 2

Jaybird buds. Awesome!

Great app 👍🏻. I love this app for fine tuning my buds and checking in the charging status.

Good Fit. Good Durability - running in the rain and gym workouts

Non-functional as of now. I want to use the app to try to find my lost earbud but I have not been able to get the app to open for the last two weeks. I am scared to redownload the app for fear of losing the data, but the app won’t open at all despite me restarting my phone and checking for updates

Wont work. Won’t open

Vista 2 - App won’t connect. I haven’t been able to use my ear buds as intended because the app hasn’t been able to pair with them. I’ve been trying off and on for over 10 months. Sucky.

Good update!. The app feels a lot more accessible. I just wish they’d bring back the swap left/right audio feature for the Jaybird vista. That was pretty neat..

Awesome product. Had my Vista for 2 years now, happy and satisfied for the quality and sturdiness of the product. I’m not into extreme sports but they are drop resistant, they hold the charge and deliver great sound. I’ll upgrade to the new model eventually but meanwhile I’ll keep on using them daily. It’s the first thing I grab when I go out the door and the last thing I put down when I get home.

J bird pro. Fix/Tune/Detail- R.L.

Jaybird. Very good app works well with the Jaybird products. Went from Jaybird x3 which lasted 4 years no issues besides the battery getting weak but that’s expected. Upgraded to the Vista 2’s and they also work great with the app

Best customization and integration. Overall 10/10 The only thing I can think to improve is the tracking bit when you lose them.

Awesome adjustability. Have had multiple Jaybird headphones and the app is always fantastic

Good earbuds for outdoor activities. So far they are good earbuds for training outdoors ! The functionality of the app is essential for the earbuds . It gives the extra quality that you need for sound and controls ! I hope they will last long !

Awsome. The jaybird app is awsome because i cant change the bass and audio, i love it

Lost an earbud? Too bad, app wont help.. So I've been searching for my left earbud for an hour now (jaybird vista) and the app has done literally nothing to help. I have my location on, and the app has full permission to keep track of my earbuds location. That being said, the last time it updated their location was nearly a week ago. I take my earbuds with me everywhere, what an I supposed to do with the location they were five days ago? As far as the other features go the app is fine, but the tracking feature is quite literally a joke.

The App does not Connect to the buds run xt poor customer service. The app used to connect to the iphone Xr but as soon as i switched to the I Phone 12 the app wont connect it says connecting and scanning and keeps on switching between connecting and scanning Tried all the steps switched of bluetooth , forget device , reinstall nothing works , app is totally useless Switching to a reputed brand for ear buds cant waste time on jaybird run xt as the app wont connect to the ear buds thereby cannot use the equalizer Giving it a one star as i have seen this same problem arise with other customers , sent an email to jaybird support they replied they would call back they never called back very poor customer service Customer service replied saying that it was purchased through a vendor which was not authorized so they wont help The jaybird works fine only the app does not work to change the sound equalizer it used to work well with i phone 10r but as soon as it was connected to i phone 12 it wont connect to the equalizer at all This is a app related fault as i see many complain that it switches between connecting and scanning also jaybird said they would give me a 25 percent discount for new buds but i cannot trust jaybird anymore so i am better of with my new bang and olufsen ear buds which work fine , so sorry to say very poor customer service its an app issue This is for Run Xt

App crashes with every opening. I was trying to see if there was any software updates as my earbuds stopped charging in a fully charged case but the app won’t even open. Any fix for this? Also is the charging tied to that or is it more of a physical issue?

Amazing. I really like that their is way to customize your sound and that their is instructions on how to use your headphones

App doesn’t even open on updated iOS. Useless software and support.

good service. appreciate the great customer service support from these guys!

App Crashes Upon Opening. The app keeps crashing upon opening. This has been happening since iOS 16 update. The last firmware update from Jaybird was 9 months ago so I’m pretty disappointed with how they’re managing this application.

Great app Great bids. The combination of the great sound these ear buds produce and the flexiblilty of the app make this product truely unique

Extremely Sporty & Well Built. Extremely Happy with the pair. Decent operational life and snug fit ( though your ears tend to get tired and hurt after long usage). Will refer to people to go for it.

Satisfied. Satisfied with the app and the Jaybird vista earbuds, I love how you can adjust your own personal equalizer would suggest to other to get if they have any of the Jaybird products.

Left ear bud cuts out.. I have updated the software, I keep the phone on my rightside as its suggested. No luck. I'll sell them and move on. Just trash for what you pay.

Jaybird Vista 2. Fix the connectivity issues with Vista 2 on your app please. 200$ headphone should not have such simple issues. I love your sound quality, but when I can’t connect to the app, it makes it hard to enjoy my headphones to their full potential. Fix it please.

Keeps crashing. App keeps crashing whenever I try to do anything. Change a preset app crashes, touch account app crashes, ext

Satisfaction 10/10. Super produit, super application, idéal pour les gens qui font du sport!

Perfect. The app is very customer service friendly and your headphones are phnominal and work great they are my favourite headphones I have had tons of models and they are just the best 11/10 would recommend

Won’t connect. downloaded the app and it won’t connect to my Run earbuds. It just says Connecting with the intermittent Scanning. The older version connected fine. Will there be an update?

Great earbuds for working out. Love my Jaybird Vista 2 earbuds. They sound great and stay secure no matter what I’m doing at the gym. The active noice cancelling works great too if I really want to zone out

Just got my X3. The app works as intended, really loving the pre-set and the customization.

Keeps on logging me out. I find I have to log into my account several times within the same day so I can view/access my custom presets. I am absolutely not logging myself out; this appears to be occurring automatically. With previous versions of the app I only had to log in once. Is it possible to regain that functionality please?

Simplicité. Une simplicité d’utilisation et beaucoup de préréglages.

Awesome buds !!!. Sound is awesome, bass is insane !! Fit is 100% !!! I use it while jogging and it doesn’t move. Outside noise is completely blocked!! Only complaint is the buttons to control songs forward and volume, it’s a bit hard to press, and sometimes not as reactive, need to press really hard. This is the reason it’s only 4 stars, Either then that these are perfect. These are the best wireless earphones on the market !

Used to love the app before update. I used to love how you could set a custom eq based upon what frequencies you could head and tune accordingly. I hate they removed it. The parametric we is much more difficult to use if you have zero clue about audio

Great feature for the earbuds. Great app and ear phones

Disappointed.... Disappointed that Tarah Pro does not do multi-point connections as X3 and X4.

Won’t even open. The app seems to crash when you attempt to open it.

Love the buds!. Great sound, holds well in ear, and easy controls.

Still non-functional. Crashes when trying to open.

My model. I have the run xt model and when I try to use the Jaybird app it automatically goes to find your version then does nothing but scan and won’t let me do anything else so this app is a 👎🏾 down for me

They say, we sending you verification email……. Criquets. I wait my email half an hour, time loose, get back IPods

Love the buds, not the app. I love my Jaybird Tarah, but it’s the opposite with the app. It always takes me at least 5 try’s with power cycling for my buds to actually connect to the app. Once it DOES connect the presets make it really easy to tweak your sound to your liking. The connecting process really needs to be improved and I hope it is addressed in a future update!

Absolutely Fantastic!!!. I git these as a gift and really underestimated just how good they would sound. Also the ability to set the preset equalizer is stupid. I love them

Super application. L’application est simple, les réglages de sons son génial pour des supers écouteurs!!

Crashes on opening. It crashes immediately upon opening, but was also draining the battery in the background.

Great. Love the quality. Great sound bulletproof construction. Very happy

Best of the best!!! You couldn’t design anything any better!. These ear buds are the greatest purchase I’ve ever made, I wouldn’t buy apple or any other brand, their design is unique and the controls are customizable, you can change your preferred settings equalizer, different shapes for your ear. I was not paid nor endorsed for these, just an honest review for someone thinking of getting ear buds. Well stop thinking and buy these. Oh yea and my favorite part they are sooo! Durable and I love!!! The Jaybird symbol!

Simply the best. I just wanted to update my review to recognize the magnitude of excellence this company has regarding customer service. My Jaybird freedoms stopped mic capabilities after about a month of having them. I did all the troubleshooting the support team suggested. Once we exhausted all options, they sent me a replacement without batting an eye. Bruce was very professional and I am more than satisfied with Jaybird’s customer service. You’ve got a customer for life.

THERE IS NOTHING BETTER. Jaybird is simply the best when it comes to wireless earbuds. I’ve tried Bose, I’ve tried AirPods, I’ve tried Sony, and had to return all of them due to video/audio sync, uncomfortableness, and bad app support. Started to seem like there wasn’t a perfect wireless earbud on the market... UNTIL I BOUGHT SOME JAYBIRD TARAH PRO’S! These buds are absolutely perfect and the app gives such good support. I’ve had NO ISSUES with either of them and I love them!!! Customer for life for sure lol

Strong App, Even Better Headphones. I’ve been through two sets of Vistas at this point: Vista and Vista 2. The app changed in the meantime and is still user friendly, but I find is hard to navigate while on the move. It can be harder to adjust the EQ, but when you set the personal EQ, it is fit for your hearing and in theory shouldn’t have to be changed on the fly based off of what genre music you are listening to.

Will not connect to Jaybird run. The app is beautiful but useless at this point. New pair of Run’s after update and hard reset. The earbuds function without this app, but not to their full potential. Fix this for a five star review!!!! Update: The app finally “found” the earbuds. I had the current version of the app when I was struggling to make it work, so I can’t say what changed, but it works great. The EQ is a game changer and really adds something to an already great product. They work flawlessly as does the app. Great work!!

Great App. I have only had the Jaybird Run headphones for a couple of weeks now, but they are great. The app is a wonderful addition. I love that I can change the EQ and also see the battery life. If there was an improvement to make, it would be to be able to skip songs and control the volume on the headphones simultaneously. I will look forward to that improvement.

Jaybird Vista. Lovin my jaybird vistas. The only thing is I wished they lasted the six hours they claim at higher volume. The six hours is for medium volume. Other than that they sound great, the volume does get loud but drains the battery in about 3 1/2-4 hours. Would buy them again if they were a little cheaper. All in all though, great wireless earbuds so far. And of course the app works great too, love being able to customize my sound.

Best earbuds I have ever had. If anyone is on the fence about getting a set of the you will not regret getting a set I have found them to be the best I have ever used . The app is great the find my buds is handy and being able to adjust the way the sound the highs and the lows is amazing it make the sound of what ever you are listening to so much more enjoyable. I hope everyone enjoys them as much as I have

Earphones A+ App B-. Earphones are exactly what I was looking for. Great sound, comfortable, etc. The app on the other hand. I love the way you can adjust everything and it is very user friendly. However the notifications never go away! I have watched/read everything and still cannot get the notifications to go away. I would have given this 5 out of 5 if the app would allow notifications to disappear after you read/watch everything. Fix this and I wouldn’t have anything bad to say.

A great wireless headphone.. I'm enjoying my Freedom headphones so far. I've been wearing them, almost daily, for about two months. I use them in the gym, running, biking and when out walking the dog. They fit well-knownsound great, and the controls are easy to access and operate. I appreciate the different earbud sizes and types to help get the best fit. The instructional videos are simple and clear. The battery life life is quite good compared to others I've used.

Love my Jaybirds. I am on my third set of Jaybird s and currently use the Vista and the Vista 2. The sound quality is great for such a durable earbud. They stay in my ear through all of my workouts. Customer service was fantastic the only time I had an issue. Purely my fault and they helped me fix it quickly. One feature I love is that I can use one earbud to listen. When I walk the dog I can listen for traffic and keep up with my podcast.

Amazing. I purchased JayBird Vistas a year before AirPods, I got the AirPods and was underwhelmed. while I still enjoy them, they pale in comparison to my Vistas and this app. The ability to customize my Bass, Mid, And Treble levels is incredible and offer unique sound profiles for movies/music/ or any type of listening. I highly recommend this app, and especially my Vistas.

Equalizer Does Not Function Properly with Vista 2s. The equalizer, probably the greatest selling point, does not work properly with the Jaybird Vista 2s. The Vista 2s have a sensor to detect when they are removed from the ear to use the auto-pause function, but removing even a single bud from your ear will cause the equalizer to disconnect so you must reopen the app and reconnect it to get it to work again. This same glitch occurs every time an ear bud is removed and will continue to occur even if auto-pause is disabled. I have contacted support and have not yet heard back from them.

Easy to learn, and master.. The app has an adjustable EQ thats extremely versatile and will accommodate and song or playlist! Buy any jaybird headphones instead of some over priced air pods and you will be blown away at the sound quality and durability. I personally have owned my pair of x3s for close to two years. After nearly daily use for commute/music ive had no sound or connection issues. Best in the business, I love you guys! -Jonathan

Fantastic wireless earbuds. Well these are one of my best earbuds you can use them in the rain. I just found out you can change the volume on the touch that is a game changer for me fantastic you change the option in the app. Sound is all louder then any of my other earbuds. They don’t have noise cancellation but they are so loud and they fit the best of my earbuds I totally recommend and the price is fantastic that has come down

Great app!. I love the app! I listen to a lot of different genres, so to be able to tweak the sound so that I enjoy each one to the fullest is amazing. And I love that I can find already made options so I don’t have to create them myself The only thing I have trouble with is how many options there are and that they aren’t separated that well, so a little bit of digging around is necessary sometimes. Besides that, this app is the reason I bought the headphones, and overall has not disappointed at all!

Was enjoying. I have had this for some time and it always worked pretty well. However, lately it has started randomly dropping my settings. For whatever reason it drops the pre-settings to flat. I have tried several times to save settings but can never seem to find them again. Either way the dropping the settings to flat is a new issue. I have updated all firmwares including the iPhone and it doesn’t seem to help. I’m about due to update my wireless headphones and thinking with this issue may be time to try another brand.

App + Buds have been great. I think I've had my Jaybirds for... 5 maybe 7 years? Its been that long. They still work like the day I bought them. The app has been great to switch up audio quality for different types of music/podcasts. For what I paid years ago, I've definitely got more than my money's worth.

Great equalizing app.. I’ve had various pairs of their in-ear phones, very satisfied with the ability to add extra equalization to your sound. For me the only down-fall was the Tarah pro’s lack of memory foam ear tips,.... those work for me very well, so I returned then and got the X4’s, I’ve ran marathons in them so I was pleased, but wanted to do that with the T Pro’s.... oh well.... it was between the wireless Run’s.... but because of the no memory foam tips... that’s a no go. But Jaybird... I’m still rollin with ya.

Freedom. I don’t think there is anything that is perfect, but this device comes real close to it. It truly gives you the freedom to listen to your music and the flexibility to charge it with out having to wait until it’s charged. The app truly plays a huge part. It gives you the visual to know when your device is charged, the ability to set the sound you want, and a host of other things that I haven’t began to tap into yet. It is truly a great device but the app makes it!!!

A beautiful way. I (a long time ago) eliminated my Facebook account due to unwanted advertising. Though I do use a google+ account to post news articles and the like, I had for the most part given up on ‘social media.’ Then I found out about Vero and as long as they keep to their platform of allowing a place where people can feel free to share ideas without fear of unwanted intrusion and awful advertising for laundry detergent, I’m here to stay.

Aesthetic in Sound and Visual. The presets and user soundfiles are easy to switch between and compare - just click between the pictures of the sets, and you're ears can seamlessly contrast the audio. The editing option is great for small tweaks in other people's presets to make them your own. The sound profile maker isn't seriously on point, but it's a great idea, and I assume they might tweak it in the future, generating an even better personal EQ...

Great Idea and Cool App. Like many others, I love music. Over the years, I’ve become a lot more selective of sound quality. This app gives complete user control and the only limit is you. Even though I’m a novice audiophile, this app is awesome! It allows me to continue to learn the “basics” of audio quality, and really find out what I like in general, or in specific genres. Kudos to Jaybird for developing this

Outstanding. I decided to download this Jaybird app using my freedom headset. The app is outstanding and excellent. The app is very well thought out and easy to incorporate the equalizer and also having the extra presets from the participants who added their own flavor to the music. I tell everyone who enjoys the equalization of music to enhance their music to download this Jaybird app. I commend everyone who have worked on this entire process of this app. It is one of the best equalizer programs that I have ever used.

Great all around app. I have had many headphone apps before and this one easily competes. The simplicity is nice and it gives u full control over your jaybirds. My only complaint is it is kind of difficult/complicated to make your own EQ balance but it just takes some time to figure out. Also there are pre made EQs so you don’t have to deal with that.

Used to be the best.. I have had my jaybird for almost a year now. They were perfect to begin with. Unfortunately, for the last few months, there’s been a horrible sound delay. I’ve done everything including : completely resetting my phone and settings , making sure all the firmware and iOS are up to the latest, and re-installing the apps. Still the same horrible delay. I don’t want to have to spend another $170 on another headset, but it’s so bad, it’s almost unusable for video. If anyone has any suggestions, PLEASE help!

great set of buds. Great set at earbuds for active people depending on the activity or work you do they’re awesome only part that I didn’t like was David slipped out of my ear every now and then depending on which ear adapter piece you use and the magnet would pick up little pieces of iron causing it to not charge inside case and transfer iron to case but if you keep clean and take care of them they’re awesome headphones for all activities

Jaybird Run. I had bought several cheaper airbuds, but I had to return all of them because they sucked. But, I also didn’t want to spend that much money. I had bought the wireless jaybirds last year that still had the buds connected with wire worked pretty good, but wanted to get rid of the wire completely. Took a little bit to get used to how these operate, but love them. Going to get my girlfriend some for her bday. Because she likes them too.

Bad quality. Very disappointed in these headphones. Since I bought them I’ve had nothing but trouble with them. The left one drives me Insane. It’s constantly losing sound so in the middle of a workout it goes out, crackles in, fades out then loses sound completely. It’s anxiety Inducing. I spend more time trying to to get it to work than actually enjoying the music. I’m really tired of spending money on low quality products. I spent a lot of money and I’ve only had these a couple of months....looks like I’ll be looking for a different brand:/

Bluetooth interference in busy areas. As a company that advertises their headphones as being great for exercise, I’m finding that at the gym, Bluetooth interference is insane. Anytime I’m around a group of people with headphones in (not just other Jaybirds) my music gets choppy. When I’m secluded, everything is fine. Even when connected to the app, the interference is ridiculous. I’ve talked to my girlfriend about her AirPods and she doesn’t have that issue. For just a few dollars more, I could be listening to similar quality music with more amenities and less interference simply by switching to Apple. I gotta say, I’m a bit disappointed.

Total different. At first when I went to the store to buy workout head phones I thought you know, go with the brand everyone uses beats. Then my friend told me why these jay birds a superior. Then I saw this app that you can customize the audio, like the beats the quality of the sound and it just makes beats look shamefully. These are the best if not the greatest headphones I have ever used and alongside a phenomenal app

Fantastic. The personalized eq that they generate is pretty great in my opinion. It’s like automatically tuning a room to your hearing. I found it to be a great baseline to create other preferential presets from. The parametric 5 band eq is intuitive, easy to use, and powerful. Feels like having a simple pro tools para eq plugin on my phone. Aesthetics and UX are very Jaybird - classy/sporty/sleek. No annoying ads or pop ups ever, which I really appreciate.

Love my earphones. I have the freedom and 3 x I think, doesn’t matter. My only criticism is the ears buds come off too easily, easy to lose easy to get stuck in your ear. Besides that I love both my set ups. I use them for different occasions. The freedom I use for work or rugged areas cause they last longer, my 3x I use indoors at the gym. The app it’s fine, wonder if it could be easier to play w eq as a listen to music at the same time. Ooo!! It would be amazing if customers could build up their own earphones. Like the battery from x3 on the freedom, choose their earbuds. Kinda how Nike does sneakers. But overall I love love your brand. I would buy a 3rd one if I found a great sale or if something new came up. I might look into those single ear earbuds, the ones w no cables, they just look too big right now. I don’t wanna look like Herman Munster.

This app is lit!. I love that I can set my music to the genre. This way my blues sounds like blues, with me distinctly hearing the bass and the guitar as if Im in concert. I raise the high when I wanna learn the words. My very favorite part is that I can set my own equalizer. You can do it for each song, too, then title it. There are also presets and playlists. I have several pairs of Beats. Since I’ve purchased Freedom, Beats have lived up to its name. They can Beat it. Watch n learn, Beats, watch n learn.

Fought the urge to jump on the Apple bandwagon. Best decision. Besides being wireless, these earbuds actually stay in your ears while exercising. I put them through thousands of stair runs, 50 yard sprints and even pushups and they never came out of my ears. I have watched countless people at the gym having to stop their workout to reinsert an earbud back into their ear because it popped out. No issue with the Jaybird Vistas. The sound quality, range as well as the app are great.

Quality and consistency. Jaybird has always been the most consistent brand at making highest quality true wireless earbuds for the price. They are still the leader in fitness earbuds for working out. The durability, ergonomics, and sound quality are unmatched at the price. I’ve never had any issues with using the app and it pairs well with the earbuds. The fully customizable EQ settings are pretty cool too, with features more robust than any of the other competitor apps like Sony or Bose.

4 maybe 3 or 5. I’m giving the Jaybird X3’s a 5. The app is a three right now. The second time I tried to pair the headphone it kept saying that they were connected; but they never connected. I had to reset the headphone before they would pair. The headphone sound better than any portable headphones I’ve ever tried and most over the ear ones too. The app itself works pretty good if the headphones pair; if not than the process of resetting everything would get old fast. That’s how I get to the 4 Star! If no more troubles; then there would be 5’s across the board!

Makes already awesome headphones even better. I have the Jaybird Vista 2’s. The reason I keep coming back to Jaybird is the app. Being able to adjust the EQ is very unique to their buds. Though Jabra has an app it is completely lame and does not write the settings to the firmware of the buds so unless you use your phone it reverts back to factory EQ. Jaybird is a leader in this area. Once they fix a current firmware issue with my Vista 2’s I will be completely happy.

Number one with a bullet!. If you, like I, have spent years searching for the perfect earbuds to trail run with, you can stop looking. The Jaybird Vistas crush the competition. They are locked into your ear no matter the terrain and the vagaries of your stride. The sound is amazing and the ability to tune the eq to your personal preference is a huge bonus. Finally, they charge in their case like a dream: no grabbing them for a run and discovering one bud didn’t charge. These are perfect.

A Real Investment!. The quality of these earbuds are really good. The fact that they are earth proof trumps any other earbuds I’ve seen on the market within my price range. They have a comparable price to AirPods but are completely waterproof. Their design also allows them to stay in your ear while running and swimming. Jaybird Vistas drown out sound to allow you to enjoy your favorite tunes! So happy to have these for at least 3 years!

Best idea ever. About 1 year ago I decided to go out and try the Jaybird freedom and ever since then I have not been let down by this company. I have recently bought the X3 and they are worth the money. The app works pretty good, only problem I have had is, when I had the freedom sometimes my app wouldn’t work, my phone would be connected to them but the app would tell me otherwise.

Masterful. Master handling of my sound to make it just the way I want. Most of the time people in the community make changes and make most songs sound like garbage, but every now and again there’s somebody who creates these incredible equalizers that I wish I could apply to my other listening devices. This is an extremely clean and well made app. Easy to navigate, use, and learn. Fantastic job Jaybird App team(s)! Currently using: TESLA HI-RES

Not perfect but very good.. The sound fills a little over processed but Surprisingly good. Need a little eq. Battery could be better. Very confortable after trying every single tip. If you want the best possible sound You need to spend sometime with every single tip in ear Holder. Took me a week to find the perfect fit and sound quality. I’m very happy with them So happy that I’m going to buy a second pair taking advantage of the new sale price they have for this 2017 holidays. 👍

It works. If you are a casual person who doesn’t really get deep into just how well tuned your buds are then it’s fantastic. Pre settings are nice and the store for appliances is handy except during holidays. They were completely sold out for two months during Christmas season. I haven’t had any crashes but I really pick one pre setting and don’t bother with getting into the app after that for a few months or so.

Love the App!. The app is easy to get around. The equalizer is so much fun and neat to customize. The set up process was a snap. I signed up with Google and it took just a couple minutes - much different from other reviews I had heard about the sign-in process. I connected the ear buds to my IPhone 7 through the Bluetooth settings in the phone and the App connected at the same time by itself. Good visuals and love the shopping availability within the app. Good job Jaybird! Keep up the good work!

Cool Bluetooth earphones. This is my first pair on Bluetooth earphones and I wanted some to wear while I play soccer and these work great. They stay in my ears as I do my soccer workout and also gym workouts. I wear them around the back of my head and setting them up was easy, just follow along the in app videos. It’s simple and efficient. Also you don’t even feel it behind your head once you find a comfortable fit so yea 👌🏾

Would never recommend another earbud!. I am absolutely in love with my Jaybird X3’s. I recommend them to every person who asks me about them. I work in a retail store that sells Jaybird’s full line and I recommend these above all other wireless earbuds we sell. The app makes customization of my headphones so simple and so amazing. I can change settings to my EXACT liking. Jaybird is really out here killing it. If you own Jaybirds, you’re crazy not to have this app.

Failed to connect. Turn on Bluetooth.. My bluetooth is always on and enabled from settings. The buds are connected to the Bluetooth but when I open the jaybird app to adjust the equalizer it always fails to connect or tells me to enable Bluetooth which is already enabled. The issues are with the jaybird X3. Fix these issues and I'll update my review. Update: new version has fixed the issues.

Nice. One week in with the RUN. I wear them in the gym. App does a nice job of allowing me to customize sound. I love bass and app gives me all I want. Buds are great but two points to note: 1. The tips that come with the buds didn’t quite fit well in my ears. Not enough isolation. I had some tips from an old pair of in-ear monsters and they work perfectly. Full isolation which means the best bass and sound possible. 2. Buds shift between sets and I have to readjust. Seams like the left is more problematic than the right. I think this is caused by my creating pressure in my ear during sets. I managed to get the right to stay put for the most part but the left won’t cooperate. Ordering some new foam tips and will see if they help. Overall satisfied. One last note: Jaybird has to get both and the right working during phone calls. I don’t like the single ear only for phone calls.

Great Addition. Just bought the Jaybird x3’s and was a little disappointed, until... I found this app. The presets really took the sound quality of my earbuds to another level. With a great interface and many choices from the community, I am sure you will find the perfect sound for your tunes. I highly recommend that you promote the product with the app. They are a perfect pairing.
