Not worth it. I wanted these to work so bad. Unfortunately, after three days of purchasing two headphones, BOTH of the right earpieces are either glitching or will not work. Red flag to have purchased over 350 dollars worth of headphones for both right sides to malfunction. Don’t waste your money on such a cheap product.

Connectivity Issue. I have been a major fan of UE from the beginning. Then, I started experiencing the earbuds disconnecting on and off by themselves in the middle of important calls. I’ve tried trouble shooting efforts and nothing is remedying the issue. Very disappointed in the quality for the amount of money invested into these earbuds over the competition.

Take time to fix the app. I have, as half the people around here, IE monitors. I understand these are not supposed to be sound blocking earphones, I believe the sound is awesome if you tweak the sound preference to your liking. That being said, the app is trash guys! Spend some more money and time in it. UE is well known for excellence all around, don’t miss the mark here!

Waited forever and no disappointment. I thought these were going to be revolutionary but unfortunately, they miss the Mark. Sound quality isn’t that great, fit is just ok and I think they rushed the production.

The fit. The ear buds fits as advertised.

Pink?. Glad we have Pink in the app now! Much better than actually fixing the Bluetooth. The Bluetooth is iffy at best compared to other products. Move seamlessly from device to device? Not with this product. Just another bagel closer to the garbage can.

Software/connectivity issues. I am a loyal UE customer… the ear buds custom fit my ears great and the audio quality is good but not amazingly great… the problem is the software connectivity is totally unreliable. Bottom line, the physical product and sound quality are definitely solid but neither matter if the Bluetooth connection is constantly dropping and less than functional. UE, you need to ship higher quality software that keep the Bluetooth connected.

Sounds great. Bluetooth struggles though.. I might be going crazy but these seem like they need a minute or two to warm up in your ears before they really sound good. And they do. Nothing earth-shattering, but the bass is there and the music is very clear. Not in the first minute though! When you first put these in they actually sound terrible. Just something to note - give it a sec. My fit is pretty subpar. I got these for the comfort but I also wanted them to stay in, these are my first tips but they nearly fall out if I just smile. Hoping the second pair is much better. And lastly, the Bluetooth connection is pretty tricky. Many times the earbuds will disconnect from your device and you have to reset them in order to reconnect. It’s a little annoying. I’m giving this 3 stars for the quality of sound, the comfort, the amazing battery, and the above average EQ options within the app. I expect the fit to be better when my second tips come in. If UE could fix the Bluetooth issues, this is a solid 4 star setup.

App doesn’t load. Logitech slow in responding. As the title indicates, the app never opened on my iPhone 12. And, Logitech has yet to respond to my email. It’s just been one full day, but they also advertise “legendary” customer service. I’ll update when anything changes.

Great fit, TERRIBLE app. The earbuds fit great if you can get the app to work. You know it’s bad when customer support’s best advice is to delete and reinstall the app. It didn’t work. Now I have earbuds that I can’t mold.

Who cares if they’re comfortable if they won’t stay connected?. These are soooo frustrating! They won’t stay connected and they regularly won’t seat properly in the charging case.

Best Brand in the Market. I have been a long time user of Ultimate Ear’s products and they have yet again created a masterpiece in sound and performance. I have been using Apple AirPods over the past few years and my biggest issue was the pain they would cause me after hours of use. The Fit’s claim to being the most custom, comfortable fit is no lie. Not only is the comfort and design there, but they also bring their legendary sound into the mix as well. The customizable EQ settings really make a difference in what you are listening to and adds another variable for customization in this product. The app has worked well for me so far and I’ve been very impressed by the quickness in connectivity and interaction on the level of Apple AirPods, which claim to be the fastest in the market. For the lower-end price these go for, their sound is truly premium quality in line with their well-known in-ear monitors that are upwards of $1800. I’m truly impressed and my expectations have been surpassed.

Latest update. The added single tap feature is just what I was looking for plus seems like the audio skipping problem has been corrected, good job Logitech!

Bluetooth very poor. Either one ear bud only works when I pull them out. And if you use only one earbud you have to repair again in the case to use both. And sometimes won’t connect at all or paid with my phone. For the price should be a lot better. Have had Bluetooth buds pair better then this from a gas station. Ridiculous.

Great product and great app, but some suggestions. These earbuds are some of the first truly wireless headphones that can fit my ears perfectly, but I’ve been having issues with connection. For example, when I put the earbuds back into the case, they stay connected to my phone and I can’t connect to anything else unless I forget them from my Bluetooth. It’d be great if they could auto connect and disconnect with the opening of the case, so I hope/wonder if this will be a priority later on. Overall though, amazing product

UE Fits. I am dissapointed with the whole process of these earbuds. First of all the instructions for fit were terrible! They tell you to start fit and then pop ups of instructions happen. I didnt hear any sound in the left ear. Pushed harder on both buds for a good fit and ruined the right molding process. The the sound was perfect till I got a phone call. None of the tap controls worked. When I unloaded the app and reinstalled it it messed up the connectivity of the Bluetooth . Only one ear phone would connect. Hard reset over and over same problem. Im so done for the night and very disappointed.

I like them but…. I like the headphone for the main purpose of mold fitting and that they don’t fall out but I lose connection a lot. There not good to use for phone calls which is why I got them. The battery doesn’t last as long as it says in the booklet. If I could I would give them 3.5. It would great if they didn’t disconnect on its own. They are only good for music and working out.

Swing & a MISS. I LOVE my UE wired IEMs, so I was super excited about these. 1. The fit is comfortable, but despite being molded to the shape of my ear, it is hard material that doesn’t block out a lot of outside noise. 2. Which is a problem because the only way to get decent bass is to press them in hard enough to actually seal. At least I finally found a use for a headband. Otherwise, only for quiet spaces. 3. Even then, I’d still say they were worth it, BUT the bluetooth implementation is literally the worst I have ever seen. Case is often hot and the Fits are dead despite charging them a few hours ago. Assuming they have energy, they just work about 20% of the time. Fully 50% of the time I have to open the BT preference pane and click on one or the other (L&R are separate), and 50% of that (25%) it will tell me it couldn’t connect AND PROCEEDS TO FORGET THE PAIRING. Which means you better have the slippery case around because you can’t re-pair without it. If they do connect, sometimes this app works. I’m literally listening to music on my Fits but the app says it can’t find them?! Why doesn’t it just look at the existing Bluetooth connection? I’ve had to factory reset them multiple times and there is zero support from UE. Spend money on any other UE product, but I recommend taking a hard pass on these.

Do no buy these headphones. They fit great, feel great. But how they work is terrible. Constantly playing the music through the headphones when they are in the case. Constant Bluetooth interruptions. Almost makes you just not even wanna listen to music anymore. And when you have had them in the case all day you open it up to see that your lef ear bud is at 50% somehow. They have a great piece of hardware but, how it runs and operates is terrible!

Don’t buy these—Extremely disappointed. I wish I could comment on the fit or sound quality, but I literally can’t even get these things to pair with my phone to begin with. Get any other Bluetooth earbuds. Total waste of money.

Love the fit but. Best fitting earbuds in my opinion but I think the sound is lacking, would love to see a pro version with the lightform tips. Also setup was not seamless I had to quit the app multiple times and disconnect the earbuds multiple times until it worked after 5 minutes. They also have a lot of ambient noise from the drivers which i notice even the base model airpods don’t have. Really do love how comfortable they are though and with my small ear canals they seem like they’re very snug just wish they had a pro version with better sound and connectivity.

should not have updated this time. this update now makes the app inoperable. i can't even get it to open. i had no issues previously and now nothing. so much for "bug fixes"

Cheap Chinese Crap. Just more cheap crap from China. Don’t bother

Perfect fit. So far so good, the sound quality isn’t the best but the perfect fit makes up for it. For the price these earbuds are well worth it but I would personally pay a little more for a better quality sound.

Bluetooth is struggling. The fit is fantastic. The audio is also great. That being said, the App won’t even recognize the UEs to customize them even when paired and connected to my phone. I’ve re-paired. I’ve even deleted and reinstalled app and still the App won’t recognize them. I also have to do a full re-pair to my peloton every time I use them with that device. Lastly, they don’t pair easily to my PC and there is a ton of static so I can’t use them in web meetings.

Worst app ever. Considering you NEED the app to mold new tips, adjust sound, use eq, etc this might be the most infuriating app I’ve ever used. Could not, for the life of me, mold new tips. If kept telling me “hmmm can’t find your earbuds”. Even though they are connected and working. I’m about to buy a new set of earbuds simply because this app is horrendous.

Earbuds Terrific, Bluetooth No So. The earbuds are the best-fitting, most comfortable I have ever owned. No there’s come close. I’m no audiophile but have no trouble with the sound, and the EQ settings work well. If only the Bluetooth connection would stop dropping. There were several drops in the first half hour or so but no more in the next hours. A firmware update might take care of this, I’m hoping.

Horrible sound on phone calls. I want to start by saying I am a huge UE fanboy. I have UE 11 pros and speakers etc. sound on these are nice but phone calls are horrible... like.... unbelievably horrible

Kind of Frustrating. I love my headphones HOWEVER the app is INFURIATING!! I recently got new tips because my right ear hole is smaller than my left and so the fit wasn’t correct. When going into the UE FITS app to mold my tips it just keeps going and going into this cycle of “looking for your ear buds” when they are already connected and paired! This happened the first time as well. I have restarted, reinstalled, turned off and back on both my phone and Bluetooth MULTIPLE TIMES and it still says the same thing! The app makes me want to return them due to the fact that it just doesn’t want to work right!

Wish I could give it half a star. Company estimated 10 to 15 days to ship (amazing considering this a premium product) only to take 20 days. Packaging was the first tell. They really overdid it, box within a box, and had to unwrap it from a vacuum seal. This isn’t space age tech. Total fluff Right headphone wouldnt light up meaning not only was it not holding or receiving a charge, but it wouldn’t connect to my iPhone Bluetooth. Wasted 45 minutes trying everything. So much for that extreme packaging. Also who ever heard of downloading an app to use a product. Ridiculous. The cherry on top was when making this 250 dollar product return, they didn’t even have the decency to make the shipping label UPS like many companies do when making a return. I had to go to the dreaded post office instead. Overall a total waste of time, and a not so uncommon issue. Too bad all the bad reviews are here on the App Store as opposed to online where they paid journalists to list this overpriced piece of junk on the “top ten wireless headphones of 2020” list. I don’t like apple as a company, but it’s air pod pros for me now.

Buds are great - App is trash. The app never works right. It constantly forgets your earbuds. It requires force quitting, unpair/re-pair, resetting, ‘forget my device’, hard resets - the whole nine yards. And of course, every time you have to reset, any settings you’ve implemented are wiped. So if you remap your taps and forget to set them back up, you’ll be trying to turn up the volume and end up hanging up a call. Averaging $200 a person - and backed by a parent company like Logitech - UE has literally ZERO reason they can’t invest the resources for a robust application. I’d give 0 if I could.

Complete Trash!!. What a waste of $170!! Right from the start, both headphones don’t even turn on, and it doesn’t even want to connect to my phone! I’ve gone through every troubleshooting steps there are. Complete garbage!

Would give less than one star but cannot!!!!. Full disclosure, the headphones and the quality of them are excellent and have exceeded my expectations. With that being said, I had requested another set of mold fits for my headphones. The company was gladly able to send me another set of molds for free since the ones that were mailed originally when I purchased the headphones did not fit. With this app you’re supposed to be able to use the mold your new fit tab in order to Remold your headphones. The first time I tried to use this app to remote my headphones it asked that I connect the headphones to my cellular device so it can find them only to have issues and not only the headphones were connected to the cellular device and the app was acknowledging that they read them, the app was still not allowing me to mold my new ear fits. I have contact the company themselves and they told me to delete the app and to re-download the app and try again. Not only have I’ve done this over six times and the app is not allowing me to remold my headphones, but I have even downloaded the app the seventh time turned off my phone for over 10 minutes repower the phone re-download the app and I still am not able to do that. It shows in their description that they have fix the bugs for this app and unfortunately they have not. I hope the company and the developers will reach out to this response or review and get back to me on how they can fix my problem especially since my headphones I’ve already paid for them and I do have a warranty with them and again the issue is not the headphones the issue is this app not wanting to allow me to re-mold my fits

UE Fits. I love these ear buds and the app. I bought two sets of these and haven’t had any problems at all with them and they sound amazing! I am getting the UE 18+ CSX real soon and I can’t wait to hear what they sound like! UE is a fantastic company to deal with and if you have an issues they seem to take care of their customers! Great earbuds, good app, great EQ. This is not an exhaustive review of the earbuds, just a high level buds + app. Edit - update: 2 months owned and Bluetooth is struggling. Some firmware update came out and made it even worse. Hoping for another update. Too bad, we’re solid prior but now no better then other crap on the market. The earbuds sound incredible. I am not audiophile listener but I love speakers, earbuds, headphones, etc. Your general music lover and sadly always looking for a pair of headphones that fit!! APPs were my go to along with Sony’s IE buds. Nothing fits. The Sony’s sound great but fit and weight is horrible. The APP just don’t fit and put pressure on my inner ear. These fits are the real deal. They fit. I run, bike, walk and even dance with these and they do NOT move. A quick blurb on sound quality. Not a fan of the default EQ. I created a few EQ profiles which is awesome. I have one for Pop and Dance music more tuned towards mid and bass and a rock/alternative EQ tuned more towards treble and mid. I switch these via the app. I have it tuned more towards the brighter side (upper part of the EQ tune) and it’s just amazing. UE has been in the IE monitor space for 50+ years. Almost every artist in the world use UE in studio. They are that good and these are just their first consumer facing generation - I can’t wait to see what’s next. (Hint: QC 5100 chipset will bring even more BT improvements in 2021). The app itself - solid and works for fit molding and EQ tuning. My only complaint that I think could be improved is more documentation on the EQ. After learning what the dials are showing (up vs down vs sideways vs moving the dot to the right or left but not down or up allows you to tune the roll of frequency.) I have spent 2 hours or more playing with the EQ - I really enjoy it because it gives a person that really wants control of how the music sounds complete control. I still think lots of complaints about other headphones is that the EQ can’t be controlled. UE please keep focusing on this control - people like me love it!! Great product!!

Wasted $30. I bought new smaller tips because the included ones were too big. Went to try to mold them and the app won’t recognize my earbuds even though I can listen to music and watch videos on my phone. Since the tips are light sensitive I’ve now wasted $30.

Worth!. I have never been able to wear earbuds since I was a kid so Bluetooth headphones and AirPods were out of the question. So happy these launched and came out! Hey fit my ears almost perfectly and the don’t slip out, one of my buds is loose but that’s because I have a tragus piercing and I didn’t have it in while having my headphones mold. The sound quality is truly amazing especially for someone that has never been able to wear earphones correctly. I wish the case was a bit higher quality for the price, but I do love them 10/10 recommend

My Set Up Experience. Experienced similar issues with the app. Had to download and delete three times before it finally worked. After that it has worked perfect-so far.

I don’t know. I have been putting in request for help with the fit, sent in a selfie pic, sent several emails. I’m just not getting any help from anyone. My 30 days will be up and I didn’t even get to try them out.

earbuds are good, app is bad. The actual product is great, they fit well and sound good. however the app never finds and connects to the earbuds via bluetooth so i cannot check battery level/adjust sound.

So far, so good. I'll preface this by noting that I have a pair of custom-molded UE-4 in-ear monitors, so I know what audiophile monitors feel and sound like. The sound from these earbuds is outstanding. My IEMs are very neutral, and I appreciate that. These can vary, which I also appreciate. The details I can pick up in some of my favorite test tracks is as good as my IEMs. It's only been 15 minutes, but the pairing and app responsiveness has been excellent. As for the fit, well, the jury is out. It took two or three adjustments to get the right IEM to fit well. The right ear of this pair is great from the start. I can feel the left ear a bit, but I need to wear them longer to see if it's going to be an issue. Overall, they feel a little tight compared to how my IEMs sit in my ears. They are definitely more comfortable when I don't have my jaw clinched. When it's relaxed, the fit is better. (I tried to make sure my mouth was slightly open during the fitting prices.) If I can listen for several hours without disconnected, I'm willing to bump the review to give stars. However, I'm not sure that's going to happen. Fingers crossed, but time will tell.

Won’t connect to app. I was so excited to get these and then I spent a stupid amount of time trying to get them to connect to the all. Never worked. I contacted support and they gave me the same instructions as listed in the website it didn’t work. Not knowing what else to do I went and bought some Bose headphones. I wish they would fix their app so that this didn’t happen.

DOES NOT PAIR! DO NOT BUY!!. Buy at your own risk!! I bought these a while back, so I am not able return them. This product is not worth your money!!

The worst. These are the worst earbuds I’ve purchased and I have many (Bose, Toto-10/12, Beats studio). Where is an update to the firmware?! They don’t properly connect to iOS devices…I’m very disappointed in these being that I purchased after having such a good experience with the UE Boom. When they did connect the sound was decent and the app provided a decent present/customizable sound option whereas most buds do not have that option. Nevertheless, they fail when length of charge and most of all connectivity! 🗑 they go, huge waste of money!

Bluetooth auto connecting bad. Sound is very good. Fit is very very good Best every with my bigger ears. Bluetooth software auto connection bad. Always connecting when case is closed. It connects when I’m not aware which is frustrated. Inconsistent and app not helpful.

Great fit and sound-terrible case/ connection. Absolutely love these headphones… favorite ever… WHEN THEY WORK. Horrible time trying to even make them charge in the case.. constant issues from day 1 with getting them to connect JUST right and stay connected to charge in case… open it up next day, 50% battery… MAJOR issues with them playing music/ connecting to my phone while in the case.. got so bad I’ve moved on to other headphones. Would definitely purchase again if these case/ charging/ staying OFF while in case issues were fixed.

Wasn’t able to connect. The eu fits didn’t connect to the iphone no matter what I tried. Fully charged, followed the instructions, even tried to hold the only button in various ways, nothing helped, the app would not detect them

Not registering my Bluetooth. This is the second time I had to redo w load the app. And now it’s not picking up phone signal

Decent sound, terrible fit. The instructions for fitting the earbuds are clear not useful. I followed them and ended up with earbuds that simply wouldn’t stay in my ears. They fall out without me even moving. They actually fit me better before molding them. I guess I will have to order more of the inserts and try molding again. They claim they can get you a better fit if you send them a picture of your ears, though they don’t tell you this until AFTER you have already molded your first pair. I will try that and update this review if it works. In terms of sound, it sounds pretty good by earbud standards after you adjust the bass all the way up. This effectively lowers the volume, making you have to raise your volume up almost all the way, but this is fine as you don’t want to raise it loud enough to hurt your ears anyway.

The Best fitting sounding earbuds. I have never worn more comfortable and sturdy earbuds ever. Each bud is custom fitted/molded to your own canal based upon a warm and form tech. The fit is so snug, you would think they had noise cancellation features. I can perform any HIIT routine (burpees, jump lunges, plyo etc), and they won’t fall out. The comfort of these is second to none. The sound quality is excellent and the app gives the ear buds more flexibility given the EQ changes. The only criticism would be the blue tooth. They don’t hand shake very well and if the battery isn’t high, it seems to be nearly impossible to get it to link. It’s a minor headache but V 2.0 and beyond should improve this.

Worst software I’ve ever used!. A friend gave me these earbuds. He got them for free when he purchased a phone. I’m glad they were free. It says not to expose them to light for long because they are UV sensitive which is why they glow after they are molded. So I ended up sitting in the dark for an hour trying to get them set up. I was able to pair them but the software couldn’t find them so I couldn’t get the molding process started. After trying their suggestion to delete the app, turn off the Bluetooth and start all over, it didn’t work. I tried my iPad next. That didn’t work either. I tried calling for support and it said no one is available to help right now, call back later. So I tried my Android tablet and finally got them set up. Then a notification came up for an update for the earbuds. Started that and it kept failing. I went back to my phone and they connected. When I tried to play music it told me to go download the software. I don’t know how I got them to eventually work. I also downloaded the UE Custom software and that didn’t work. They sound ok, no where near as good as my AirPods. I have small ears so I was hoping these would feel better and they do. But I can’t get any of the software to work. Can’t adjust the equalizer, and the update notice came up again so I tried with it connected to the iPhone and it failed again. I would be returning these if I paid for them. They will do as a back up but not worth $200.

Very Good, a few things will make it better. Paired to my iPhone 12 no problem. Earbud forming went well however, it could be more intuitive. If testing prior to earbud molding, the app should play some music to gauge sound by. It also tells you to hold the earbuds slightly during formation, but it is not clear what that means. Push them in? Hold the sticks perfectly vertical or at an angle? More info would help. Finally, the sound and soundstage are excellent but they are a bit bass shy without a big boost to bass. This is day one, so can’t form a final decision, but impressive so far.

Perfect for me. I have read some of the reviews, but so far I haven’t had any of issues others have complained about, so I’m assuming they have fixed any Bluetooth connection issues. For me, I was able to leave my phone inside and took my trash to the curb without any breakup or static whatsoever! I feel like I have the range to be anywhere in my house enjoying my music without having my phone tethered to my hip. I don’t understand why some people had trouble with the fitting. If you follow the prompts, it strongly recommends standing in fromt of a mirror before starting your fit. And then follow the gif, that shows you that you sort of twist the ear bud into your canal. Then it will tell you to hold the earbuds in place while it heats up molds to your canal. Maybe some people didn’t hold them in place? I have ALWAYS had issues with any kind of earbud, wired or otherwise. You see, in 2002 I had skin cancer removed from the back of my left ear. They had to do a skin flap to replace the tissue , but that means that my left ear sits about 1/3 of an inch higher than my right ear. This has also caused my ear canal to slightly misshape. Traditional earbuds are painful with my eyeglasses and typically stay in for all of about 40 seconds (if I’m lucky). With my first fitting, I now have super comfortable WIRELESS earbuds that don’t make my ear canals hurt, STAY IN PLACE (even while head bobbing to Breaking Benjamin & Disturbed), and I’ve been able to wear them for more than 4 hours straight without any pain! For me, these are truly worth the price. I purchased them on sale Black Friday, and honestly didn’t expect delivery until January, but I got the 12/23/21. So, given all of the nation wide shipping delays, I was happy I actually got them by Christmas. (Although, I forgot to pack them, so I didn’t fit them until just New Years. If you have hard to fit ears, I truly do highly recommend these!
