Fun but flawed. Fun once you figure it out (assuming you can) but the board becomes un-winnable when the game requests recipes that cannot be completed based on colors on the board.

Not optimized for iphone X. Good game, still waiting for the iPhone x update, excellent audio engineering.

Addictive.. I feel like every time I play I realize something.... The instructions aren't great- they don't explain the color bars at the bottom. I would like to read instructions vs just playing the into. I really enjoy it now that I kinda get the game. The music is really chill too.

Please allow full screen support for iPhone X. Please allow full screen support for iPhone X How can this be an Editor’s choice! It’s not even supporting a year old iPhone X screen!

Fun but impossible.. I think this game is a great concept. It's beautifully made with great visuals and fun sounds. I love puzzle games like this that make you think. But as others have pointed out, you always reach a point where the puzzle is unsolvable. They need to make it so that the request orders are always possible as long as you fill the orders and make moves in the right order. It's frustrating for the game to end with an impossible puzzle.

Addictive. I’ve played for years. I play often, daily. I can never “win” because there’s always a new layer. I complete 51 requests (tasks) but when do I get to a plateau? I’ve learned much about strategies to use, like building long strings as much as possible, like blowing up the unwanted colors in order to potentially refill tiles with desired colors, like blasting the requests down when there aren’t enough tiles to complete a request. But when do I reach a new level? Is it only when I pass my personal high score? It’s like playing Solitaire but you can never “win” no matter how good you lay those cards.

Crashes often. Nice game, inscrutable scoring, crashes almost every time I start it up. Then works.

Excellent game to play on the toilet seat. 10/10 pick up and play on the toilet seat - medical note: beware of fissures from prolonged gaming on the toilet seat

Would be perfect if optimized for newer screens. The game hasn’t been updated in a long time, so it doesn’t support The X or newer screens

Halfway. Although I found the gameplay interesting, with a tutorial that quits halfway through explaining the gameplay mechanics and gameplay mechanics that seem to encourage getting stuck by turning the board mostly one color with no real way out, I’ll give it a half recommendation. But relying on RNG for this much of a game always leaves me with the impression that the developer can’t be bothered to think past the halfway point of their game before they start coding.

Clever and challenging. I like this game a lot. It looks simple and maybe even boring in the screenshots and video, but it's not. There's no time limit so you have plenty of time to think, but the turn limits keep the stakes high. The only thing that bugs me is that you have to drag a path through the blocks to clear them. It's pointless given the way the game works. It's a bit satisfying to draw the path, but once I get going, I'd rather just tap the clearable blocks. That's an extremely minor complaint though. The game is well worth the price.

Still in Development. Great start!! Lots of potential. Game should be taken off the shelf for now so developers can finish it. I recommend waiting to download.

Needs more instructions. The game is fun, but there is no direction for the bottom, stored colors. How do I choose only one box when I have more than one box filled? How do I rotate the multiple stored boxes I want to use. Also, half of the game is simply luck as you will get a request for a bunch of one color and only have a few, spreadout blocks of that color to use.

Not well designed. What kind of a puzzle game gives you impossible puzzles. It will do something like throw a 32 yellow point request when you have 4 yellow blocks total on the screen. I really liked rymdkapsel (tho the AI could use some work) but this game is definitely not worth it.

A Waste, even with the free download.... Downloaded this with the Starbucks free Pick of the Week. There's no tutorial, like most other games or puzzles. Other reviews indicate there is one, but as of April 29th, there isn't. Deleting this one.

This game has it all ... almost. This games needs a point of success where you actually win each level. Where it says “great!”, and then starts the next board. It needs thousands of boards and a path to follow each time you finish the board. So toy can feel like you are winning something. The way it is set up now you never actually win. That said, you have the bleeps and blurps and it gas the potential to be very addictive, but you need a way to feel like you are constantly winning as often as possible Good luck to the creators of this game! You are so close!

Fun, but needs some improvements. The game is addicting enough once you get the hang of it, but there are some things left unexplained. Sometimes you move a row and a request is automatically cleared. Or, what's with the blocks on the bottom? You can store extras to bail you out later? How many extras do you have to clear to get the extra block? It's fun, though! There are still just things that happen in the game and I don't know why or where they came from.

Potential to be a great game. I got this app free thanks to Starbucks. It's a good game, but it has a lot of shortcomings. The tutorial does a very poor job of explaining scoring. When you can make a really big play it doesn't seem to reward you in any noticeable way. And there is no explanation of how those extra pieces at the bottom of the play field work. The other big complaint is the game always ends because you are set up to fail in that you are eventually given requests that are impossible to complete.

Great potential but flawed. Charming design and sounds, fun, but short-lived—as others have said the “requests” you must solve aren’t always solve-able due to a lack of tiles, or how the tiles are arranged. I’m not sure if this was an intended mechanic, but you feel punished for clearing requests faster than the allotted turns. Eventually, incoming requests are game-ending without sufficient anticipation or setup of the board by using all turns given.

Instructions?. Was an app given by Starbucks, there were no instructions. I have no clue on what to do, all I know is the little guy is referring to 16. That's all and nothing more.

Weaksauce puzzler. This game is beautifully designed but rapidly scales from challenging to play to almost impossible. Almost invariably by the time I hit the fifth wave (requests 13 & up) I've run out of one of colors that I need to satisfy the requests. The tutorial does a terrible job of letting you know that you can utilize extra color bars you accumulate to shape the board. The concept is a little too convoluted, and the developers need to either flush this concept or reboot it dramatically. Visuals aside, the music sounds recycled from the game "Tiny Wings". The sound effects are similarly irritating. I got this for free through the Starbucks app, & I'm glad I didn't pay for it.

Major battery hog!!. This app seriously drains your battery. If you have it installed, take a look at the battery usage indicator in the settings menu. I had to delete it and my phone is charging properly now.

Excellent game. I love this developer’s Subpar Pool game, so I bought twofold too. What a great game! For a great price too with no ads or IAP. It’s also a small file size and good on battery, and it’s recently been updated. The tutorial is informative, everything runs smooth as butter, the design is gorgeous. And it saves progress at all times, so you can play in bits as you have time. This is the perfect game for the casual gamer who wants a challenge that is fun and not frustrating. You do need to strategize and plan your moves, there is a scaling difficulty, and luck is involved too, which I like better than games that rely on strategy only. I think most gamers whoever they are would like this game. It’s so well done. Thank you developer for doing unique games so well, and monetizing so fairly too with none of the typical gimmicks so many games use. I highly recommend this game and others by this developer.

Great game but absolutely devours my battery!. I loved this game- it's addictive, clever, not too tough to learn but tricky to get good at. It's the perfect thing to play in all the moments I want a fun distraction that's not all-consuming. Unfortunately, when it comes to my phone's battery life, this game was indeed all-consuming! It ate up battery faster than anything else I've downloaded, but was so addictive I kept playing anyway. 😜 I finally removed it to avoid temptation. Maybe I'll try again whenever I replace this iPhone 6 with something newer.

Hints. Great game. Makes you think. But... Once you get the hang of the game it keeps stopping you when you do stuff and gives you hints. This gets annoying. I know Ido t have to clear the whole thing in a sequence. I like to challenge myself. Please update this and give me the ability to turn off hints.

Fun aggravation. Maddeningly inconsistent, impossible to win or go far. Just plain fun.

awesome. love this game, even the sound effects. worth every penny. I wrote the developer to ask a question and the response was amiable and clear.

Unique gameplay, very addictive!. I really love this game for its design, sound and play style. It has combines two very unique styles with sliding blocks and combining same colored blocks in order to complete tasks. Overall I’m very impressed, I don’t regret buying this it’s a game that I can pickup for hours and still enjoy playing. There’s only one downside I’ve seen so far. As myself I cannot see as well and find it had on the iPhone 7+ to read how many I’m blocks i’m suppose to combine in order to complete a task. I wish in the future you could add an adjustment to the display size to increase the text size. (This was a struggle when playing through the instructions as well).

Four years later I'm still playing this game. Other games come and go but this one is always fresh to me. Plus the music is so freaking relaxing ❤️❤️

Good game. I love the soundtrack and the challenge. This game needs some clarity. I do think that the tutorial was clear, but unfortunately it is incomplete. 1. What do the boxes on the bottom signify? Why do they sometimes fill and not other times? 2. Why do I only sometimes lose lives when I shift columns? 3. What is the overall point of the game? To gain levels? To unlock specific challenges? 4. On the requests: sometimes when I clear the number of yellow, the red number will also change (other colors too). Why? The operant word here is "sometimes." It's quite frustrating when even after a few weeks of playing I can't decipher what's going on or why. I hope updates address all this and I will keep playing with anticipation.

Weird & Disappointing. Twofold is terrible. Just plain terrible. It feels like the developers were simply determined to come up with a new take on the match three genre, without much consideration for what the end product was. Match three games should possess a sort of meditative quality. The visuals and audio are fantastic, exactly what you would expect from the studio. The controls are extremely slow and clunky, which combined with the fact that the game is timed, makes for a very frustrating experience. The game utilizes a point system, where each additional tile doubles the points earned. 1 tile cleared is worth 2 points, 2 tiles are worth 4 points, 3 tiles earns you 8 points- and so on. Tiles must be cleared in a line. Look, I could get into this, but all that you really needs to know is that the point system ends up feeling pointlessly convoluted. In the end you have a weird and rather disappointing sophomore effort from the developers of rymdkapsel.

Waste of money & time. Explanation of how to play not very clear and extremely frustrating trying to play this app.

Landscape support on iPad. Most iPads are used in landscape mode because cases are designed this way or because of the native keyboard support. Portrait mode only makes it difficult to use this game.

Awful and short lived. Game has very little replay ability. Instructions are awful and eventually you will be tasked with an order that can't be filled. Played maybe 50 times while at an airport. I'm glad I got it for free from Starbucks, makes it easier to delete off my phone.

Clueless. I enjoy playing this game because it's pretty, but I have absolutely no idea what I am doing and what is happening. I went through the instructions mode twice and I still dont get it. I think I'm clearing 16, but more gets cleared up top and then something gets added or subtracted and I don't know why and it's not always consistent. I understand the mechanics, but the instructions are not clear. Is there a priority order to the requests up top? Maybe a native English speaker would re-write better instructions.

Great game, tough UI. Love the game, and big props for getting the app size so low. The UI elements and text should really be increased in size though. It’s difficult to read and see without squinting.

Nice. This is a great time killer game with some nice graphics and a friendly user interface

OK game but feels mostly like luck.. Fine in short bursts.

Fun game, for 5 seconds. Game logic needs a hardcore re-write. Often gives you impossible levels. "Oh look, I need 128 blue. There is one blue on the board."

Logic missing. Great game, super original, but lacks some gameplay logic. There are occasions where it is literally impossible to beat a level, I.e. Not enough pieces/spaces to meet the requirement. Nonetheless really fun.

🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨. I was kind of hesitant on purchasing because I wasn’t sure if I was going to like it but I finally decided to buy it and I like it I don’t regret my purchase But on my iPhone I feel that the numbers to the recipe are WAY too Small I can barely see them unless I get really close to the screen Please Please consider increasing the font size on the recipe numbers at least on iPhones because on my ipad it looks great

Great game. This is an amazing game! Good job. It would be great if game center was working too.

Lots of fun, room for improvement. It's difficult to get the hang of this game, considering the beginning tutorial is super long and almost makes you more confused, but rest assured with enough patience you'll catch on after a while. It's a fun, challenging puzzle game that really requires you to actually *gasp* use your brain. There's definitely room for growth and improvement-but I'm sure that will come with time. My top request is to have something that recognizes when there are no moves possible. This doesn't happen very often but it drives me crazy when it does! But, overall, really great puzzle game.

Awesome Game, a must to play!!. 👍🏾👍🏾 This is an amazing game! You know how you'll right a review for points or FREE coins?! Well I'm writing this review not because of any of those things. This game is truly addictive and you want to play it on your off time or even between time. Great job on capturing attention with it's thought provoking and logical thinking skills to keep on wanting to break your high score!!

Update for iPhone X please. Would give 5 stars if layout was updated for iPhone X. Love the game and that you don’t need service to play it

This game is NOT optimized for large iPhone screen size!?. Very disappointed that Apple features this game on the app store and I only discovered after paying $3 that it’s not optimized for the iPhone XS Max

Nice concept, poor execution. Reinstalled this after forgetting about a while ago. Hasn’t been updated in two years though. Clearly has some bugs. No matter how I played, within minutes of each game, had no moves available and had to restart each time. Not worth it when there are so many other similar apps out there. Save your time and money.

Stupid layout, good game. Gameplay is interesting, though the first puzzle is figuring out the rules (and I still have no idea how the scoring works—or even how to track the scores I’ve achieved). But it is designed to force you to play in vertical orientation despite a horizontal layout—with huge expanses of wasted space top and bottom, while the text—including the target numbers—is compressed too small to read. Other design details show subtle attention to detail (except the bg color appears to have been chosen to replicate a leaky dark lcd screen, which is actually a bit disorienting on a non-lcd device) but the layout is a stubborn hot mess. In addition, the slider buttons are quite sensitive and so far I’ve ruined at least three games when a button registered two clicks instead of one—a brief lockout of a second or so after one press would prevent these errors.

Very nice game. This is a fun game. However, it would be nice if there was an option to slow it down a bit so mere mortals would have a fighting chance of playing it.

Intriguing, but with major flaws. ...It takes a while to try to figure the game out because the instructions are cryptic. The way scoring works as a mystery even after playing many times. The way the scoring works in reality does not match what the instructions indicate. ...The algorithm which determines what colors new tiles will be is the major flaw. It allows the board to be almost completely filled with the same color of tiles, at which point you can made any progress so “die” soon. ...So at first the game is addicting and quite interesting to figure out, but it soon becomes very frustrating since it has such major flaws.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE GAME! dont download!!!. confusing and annoying! who ever who came up with this idea ruined the game, teh colors may look ok but the thinking behid the game play is HORRIBLE! the person who decides the game should be this complicated (both visually and mechanism) has to go and sell watremelon in market instead of designing a game! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!!!

Addictive. Great game but you can’t play and listen to music at the same time which is really annoying.

A good game at first glance.. The game play is pretty good but the longer you play, the more you'll notice the scoring makes no sense. - Getting a longer chain than needed can give you extra color blocks to use in a jam, but only up to 4 and does not seem to work if it happens on the last move of a level. It also appears to be harder to earn extra blocks the higher level you're on. But it's hard to say because there's no "points meter" to show what it will take to earn a block. You don't get more points for completing a level with moves to spare. Points only accumulate at the end of each level. So if you run out of lives part way through a set, none of it counts. The game does also reach a point of near impossible quite quickly. Which makes it hard to go back for more after a while. The music is the same song on a continuous loop and accessing the game while playing your own music will turn yours off. There is an option to turn off the soundtrack, so it's the game's song or nothing. + On a plus it's nice that there's no time limit and games are auto saved so you can easily pick up where you left off. The sound effects and animations are also great. = This should only be a dollar or two game.

A very fun game. The new update fixed the startup crash for this iOS 7 user. It's a great game. Thanks very much!

Rules don't make sense. You have to link more blocks but you don't get more turns to do it.. Nevermind that you don't even start off with enough turns to really move any blocks around. Would be more fun othwewise

Kind of fun, not worth the cost. This game would actually be kind of fun, if it weren't for its horrible RNG. Sometimes by the third round, I mostly have blue tiles - there have been a few time where even on he first round I've had mostly 16 points or higher to get in each color, etc. I understand it will get harder per round, but when the RNG mostly gives blue (why blue, by the way? I rarely see yellow or white) it just becomes no fun. I'd happily take my money back if I could. Long story short... $5.49 is a hefty price for this game. Could have way more potential though if this was fixed.

Fun time user-upper. Enjoyable game, with cute sound effects and animations. My only complaint is it doesn't use the screen real estate very well and could use a landscape mode.

Frustrating. The "editor's pick" review tricked me into buying this app. But the editor probably didn't play this game more than a minute, because after a couple of rounds you invariably end up with mostly blue tiles and you can't do anything with that. I never managed to survive more than a few minutes because of a flaw in the rule generation algorithm. Very frustrating game. I deleted it.

Avoid this, Dev already got his money and left.. No matter how good you are at eliminating tiles, The game will screw you over with an excess number of blue tiles you don't need. Yet, you can't rid of unless you move resulting in game loss because you ran out of allowed turns.

Great but one big flaw. Awesome game with great visual design. However, you can't listen to your music while playing, which is why I rate it 3. I barely play it because of that.

One of the best games I have ever played.. Twofold Inc. is a sleek, innovative, and swift game. It all comes together to create an experience unlike no other. I highly recommend this game, you will not be disappointed.

Hijacks Audio. I want to play it. I don't care about sound effects and music. Stop hijacking the audio and it would be worthy of more stars. I didn't even play it.

There’s nowhere to go & no help screen. I like this game as a casual time-waster, but it feels aimless: You have to dig into the leaderboard to find your high score, there are no new levels to work towards, no new graphics as you get to higher levels, etc. But the biggest gap is the lack of a rules/FAQ/help section outside of the initial tutorial. I’ve played 100 rounds now and still have no idea what the buffer things at the bottom are. I don’t know how they get filled up, I don’t know what they’re counting, and I don’t know what they’re used for. It’s a shame because this would be a fantastic game if there were levels, an explanation of the rules, and some kind of visual progression.

Addictive. Superb puzzle game you can play one-handed. Like Rubik's Cube x Drop7... Please allow for your own music to play in the background - the music's good but it becomes repetitive fast

Fundamental design flaw makes the game trivial and non skill based. You lose the game when there is a request asking for a color that is literally not enough on the entire board. Because it is probably the fewest color during the entire course of the game, you were unlikely to have been able to accumulate it at the bottom bonus area. So when you lose your game, you don’t feel like you could have done anything differently to come back. You lose when the color generation randomness decides you to lose. This is a beautiful game, well made sound affects and animations, but just after a dozen games and you figured out it’s basically an elaborated wheel of fortune. Your actions don’t really matter, you are gonna lose on that fewest color, there is nothing you can do. Suggestion: when you over match one color, accumulate bonus for every other color. This way there is actually a choice: should I try to complete the critical color directly? Or make a big sweep of the abundant color in order to use bonus point for my critical color? Also, don’t generate request that is literally uncompletable given the number of colors on board. For compensation you probably should reduce health point to 2+1 and non regenerable, otherwise it’s just so softcore and cheesy, it doesn’t help you win the game in the long run anyways. Also an example of how game mechanisms completes each other instead of working against each other, try “SPL-T”, very simple design, but you always feel like you could have done differently to win more.

Worked Great at First.... But now when I get a valid string of tiles aligned, the count resets itself and I can't clear that string. Four tiles should equal 16 points but after swiping onto the third tile the count reverts to two. This is happening all the time now.

Had to read reviews in order to fully learn the game. Addictive game, easy to use but the tutorial is awful. I had to read reviews on here in order to really learn the game. Seems to get ridiculously hard very quickly, like "complete 3 blue requests of 64," yet either there's 2 blue squares on there or no way to conceivably get to the ideal set of squares before you lose all lives. Cant figure out why if I complete requests of one color that it also fills another? We need better directions.

No iPhone XS support. Ok game. Display is whack. Deleting.

Love it. I mostly play puzzle games. This is becoming one of my favorites. No surprisestyl as it's by the maker of Rymdkapsel(sp). I'd love to see an endless mode just to see how large a string I can get. No complaints whatsoever, great game! 5 stars easy

Pretty Addicting. Nice little puzzler that is simple to play yet difficult to master. Would like to see more description about power ups and such in the tutorial and the price is a little steep for what the game offers.

Too random. It's an interesting concept and starts off fun that ends fast. The tiles/colors are way too random and makes it very frustrating. There needs to be a refund policy for apps like this. This is a waste of $3.99. Definitely not worth the price. There needs to be different game modes like one with unlimited life or moves for practice or just for fun. Disappointed. The price for this pile of junk is pathetic. Just get a real puzzle game and skip this. Deleted this. What a waste. iTunes needs a refund option for apps within a reasonable time frame.

Great game but needs better tutorial. Took me a while to figure out what was actually going on. After I did it became pretty awesome. Sometimes it's still confusing since there's so much going on and things are blinking and requests are moving around and then I'm dead. Still fun.

Mediocre. I'm sad to have spent money on this. For one, despite turning off the game sound effects and music, it insisted on turning off the music I was playing in another app. Rude behavior, considering I told it what I didn't want from it. Secondly, proficiency at this game seems to be more chance than anything. Whenever I saw that the goals were unobtainable because there literally weren't enough pieces of a given color on the screen, I quit that game. I'm sure there are individuals out there who are ok with more futility in their games, but I'd rather play games that create a greater sense of achievement.

My Favorite Mobile Puzzle Game Since Threes. Super well designed, very well orchestrated tutorial, and surprisingly addicting...love this game. Been playing it non-stop since I downloaded it yesterday. Worth every penny!

Good but room for growth. Love the fresh take on puzzle mechanics in this game. I definitely need to slow down and ensure that I don't let my puzzle reflexes take over from other games involving tile shifting. Design is simply and enjoyable. However. While simple is good, too simple is frustrating. Currently you can only see your high scores in GameCenter. Also I don't believe all aspects of the game are explained in the introduction (the bonus tiles and earning those). Not worth $4 as it is. $2, yes, $3 maybe. Hope for improvements with time on this one.

Addicting, but needs SERIOUS improvements. I got this free from the starbucks app. The first few times, I gave up playing because the tutorial is horrible! I had to figure the game out on my own-its a fun addicting game, but it would be better if they made tons of improvements. I honestly do not know how this game has no instructions or rules for players to read. We shouldn't have to figure out the scoring process etc. This is laziness on the developers end-if you create a great game, take the time to properly lay the instructions out to people. Overall, if you have the time to learn the game on your own-its actually fun. There are alot of things that need to be improved -Ill give them one update and if nothing changes, I will be uninstalling the game! 1. Fix this so it does not kill the iphone battery 2. Create some instructions in the app; also give rules on how points are given 3. There needs to be some kind of reshuffle option because it is impossible to get 64 or so of a color when only 2 are on the board. Its a waste and I close the game at times because its frustrating. 4. There should be an option of how many of the boxes at the bottom we would like to use at a time. It shouldn't force us to use all the blocks, if we want just one or 2 to get us out of a sticky situation. 5. Different colors would be nice lol the color scheme is so boring imo 6. The app crashes upon opening all the time. This needs to be addressed Thats a start! They need some serious work on this app and it has potential, but seems they are being lazy.

Battery killer!. Fun game but there are (in my opinion) two issues: 1) it uses a lot of battery, and 2) unfortunately one cannot listen to other apps while playing this game.

Please explain *all* of the rules!. Really fun in many ways. But no matter how much I play, I can't quite figure out all of the rules, the scoring, and everything that a player can do. Accidentally discovered you can move the squares on the bottom onto the board. No explanation anywhere. What else is there?

1 Star ⭐️. I’ve added 1 Star only for not supporting the iPhone X screen!

Tabby49er. There aren't any instructions on how to play. Why?

Atrocious gameplay, NOT WORTH IT. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME The guy who made this is clearly very good at aesthetics(which is what the extra star is for), but very bad at designing gameplay. I keep getting stuck because it asks for more tiles than there are in the board. Hopefully he updates the game and actually makes it playable. Until then, do not buy it.

Simply Brilliant. This game, like so many great games, is easy to learn but very hard to master. This game reveals itself little by little, layer by layer. What you will begin to see is the complexity of strategy and tactics. Pay attention to what happens when you make different moves and learn what works when. The key is tile management: clearing as many requests at once as possible, yet leaving yourself as many tiles as possible to work with in the future. Economy and efficiency. One tip I learned on my own, is that the squares below the grid are acquired when large combinations are made and then can be used later when u need to fill in gaps. They are key to advancing farther into the game.

Great Puzzler!. Super slick design and interface, no lag at all. And puzzles are great! Also the Developer is super nice and contacted me personally when I sent an email about a bug!

Ok puzzle game, not worth $4. Overall the look and feel is good and the puzzle is unique & interesting...for a little while. I do think there is an element of luck with what colors come up and when you need high numbers of one color and a board filled with another, it is impossible. They need to balance this with giving the player more turns for making the higher combos.

Fun, but needs a better tutorial. I really like games like this where it's infinitely replayable and just one ongoing puzzle. I am getting better over time as I figure out which shapes I'll be able to clear and as I pay more attention to my requests rather than trying to make the biggest combinations possible (which is my instinct). I find the Threes comparisons very misleading though--this game is nothing like Threes. BUT, the tutorial is so long and it doesn't even explain several important aspects of the game! 1) whichever request has the fewest lives left will always go on the right, and points will go to the right most request first 2) if there are points leftover (e.g. you got 16 red and the right most request needed 4) they will start going to the other requests 3) if points are STILL leftover, then they start filling this squares at the bottom. Wonder what those are about? You can drag them into the puzzle once you fill them! So when you need 128 yellow and there are only 2 yellow squares on the board, you can get them from there! Why is this not in the tutorial?? It's crazy that they force you to come up with that on your own, and it changes the strategy from "it's ok to overfill your requests" to "you should TRY to overfill your requests"

Buy this game. Anyone who can't see the simplistic genius of this game may be better suited for bejeweled or two dots. There's no flashy explosions, the game doesn't say AWESOME or COOL DUDE whenever you do some mundane task. This game is a well designed and smart puzzle for those who love puzzles. It makes you think, it makes you mad, there's a learning curve, and it's absolutely addicting. The best way to describe it is a deconstructed rubix cube that you have to twist and turn to appease some cruel god who loves matching colors. It's a game that requires patience and intellect, and is a true test of self control. I purchased this game after falling in love with rymdkapsel and I regret nothing, it's worth every penny.

Don't waste your time or money. Upon opening Twofold Inc. for the first time, you'll be delighted by the look and sounds of the game. The delight will abruptly end there as the actual gameplay falls short and becomes extremely frustrating very quickly. The idea is nice, but after spending a few hours playing this game, it's obvious that the randomly generated board prevents you from having an enjoyable experience. There is no system of checks and balances that makes playing a long run possible. So often I'll have a "request" that requires at least say 5 yellow tiles, yet the entire board has only 2 yellow tiles total. This type of oversight happens extremely frequently and makes this game worthless. #notfun

Lots of fun. It's a really great game once you get the hang of it. A little more complex then it initially seems... With quite a few parts left to the player to discover on their own. You have to find the balance between focusing on the more pressing requests and pursuing big combos for multiple requests, which in turn makes the countdown all the more pressing. For those who want to know if they have reached a new high score mid game, as soon as you've beaten your score the little ribbon will appear next to the score even as your still playing... So you know it's all the more important to keep it up. For me it's been absolutely worth the money if you take the time to figure out all the moving parts.

iPhone X support. Needs to be updated to the iPhone X

Love this!. Echo some other reviews that the tutorial could be better. I managed to get a 22 tile string, and got a notice in Game Center, but others have noted, this doesn't seem to impact the score or any other in-game advantage, other than instantly filling out your color swaps at the bottom for that specific color. Interesting to see how this game grows.

Confusing.. Note to self: Editor’s choices aren’t indicative of good games.

Boring. Illogical. Not challenging because there's no consistency. Delete.

Needs work. Too often the board gets overloaded with a single color, and all to often the requirements are 64 or higher and there are only 2 or 3 squares of that color available - the game should know what's coming up and provide enough color squares. Becoming boring very quickly. Worth $1.99, not $3.99. Also a battery drainer - use only if you're near a charger.

Beware. Seems fun, but SO much shaking and flashing - after Every. Single. Move. - that my eyes and head hurt after only a few minutes. PLEASE update with ability to turn off these animations. (Epileptics, please be very careful.) Seems like this game was not tested properly, and I'm disappointed it's an Editor's Pick with this glaring issue.

Simple rules, surprising depth.. The best new game since Threes. Can play repeatedly forever. Satisfying mechanics, flexible play session length, good UI. Worth your money. One thing I love: not everything is explained in the tutorial, and the things that ARE explained let you experiment before spoon feeding the answer to you. Let's you figure out things on your own.

Little fun. There's a logic to this game, somewhere. But even after a few hours of play, it wasn't clear why some things happened as they did. And after that long, its gameplay still hadn't drawn me in. Would not recommend.

Worst game possible. Luckily Starbucks gave the game for free because this app is worthless

A fantastic mobile game. I haven't been this into a puzzle game on my iPhone since Threes! It's simple enough I can play on my commute, while being engrossing enough to really keep my attention.

Needs a few tweaks to be a perfect game. This game is a blast, finally something new and fresh has made it's way to mobile gaming. My only issue is game progression- there is no way to save particular colors and when large requests come up later in the game, you end up with a board of maybe two colors. It becomes impossible. After logging many hours of play, blue seems to spawn more much more frequently than any other color.

Waste of time/money. The game looks pretty, the puzzle aspect seems promising- but this game is half baked. It has potential to be a great game, but it fails to be engaging, challenging and lacks objective. There is a lack of clear level progression and you get bored fast. If it was free, sure- it'd be an awesome game. But with this steep price point, you can easily find other games on the market better worth your time and money. I wish I could have a refund.

I love this game. It takes a minute or two to get into the swing of it but once you do it becomes quite addictive. It's a puzzle game, it's challenging with a definite charm and the music is great. There was nothing prodding me to rate or review this game. I am writing this on my own accord because it's that good. I admit, as another reviewer stated, it would be nice to know more about my score, and if I've passed my high score. A motivator of some sort. But this is just a minor thing.

Fun game!. I love this puzzle game!

Delightful!. A delightful, minimalist puzzle with just the right amount of character and charm. Only criticisms: it could use a conserve battery mode as it is somewhat battery intensive and the font size could be a bit larger. But, other than those… well done!

Meh. Pretty, but not that fun.. As others have said, I think the puzzle engine needs tuning. It's fine for the first few moves, but when it tells you that you need a color but there aren't any of that color, you lose. There's no way to plan for that scenario that I can tell. So, 3 stars. Meh.

fun, challenging and addictive but needs tweaks. I enjoy this game, great for quick gaming sessions. as others have mentioned, it can be frustrating as you get further in a session and run into an impossible task based on the colors available. but my biggest complaint is that the game overrides all other sounds, meaning I can't listen to iTunes while playing. this is a simple but crucial user experience tweak that would add at least 1-2 stars to my review.

Great Time Killer. It's a fun way to kill time and quickly pick up when you've got a few minutes. The game gets pretty difficult at times, but that's what keeps it interesting. twofold inc. is incredibly well polished and a gorgeous game. Powers of 2 are my favorite, and it's super exciting to see a game that heavily relies on them as a central mechanic. If you are looking for a satisfying time waster, try twofold inc.

I want to love it.... From a design standpoint, you are on the cusp of something addictive. The flow of your shapes is not intuitive. It rewards labor. Great! So why do you punish a player for making shapes if there are zero orders for the color? The cost of an arrow is too high. One arrow should not equal one green bulb. Also, sometimes I build a shape out of sync with the queue and lose a point I should have had... For being fast! I appreciate the design challenges you face. You're really close to something consuming. Good luck, nice work so far.

Mindless finger swiping. All you do is swipe the colored tiles? Boring and pointless.

Pet Peeve Activated. My iPad case props my iPad horizontally. When you create a game that ONLY orients itself vertically, then you force me to hold my iPad in an uncomfortable way. It drives me CRAZY that game developers can't put in the time to allow their game to orient both ways. 😡

Very cool. Could use a better tutorial. And NEEDS option to let me listen to my own music/podcasts while playing.

iPhone X support?. Please?

Fun, challenging, requires forethought. I bought this knowing the developer's previous work, and it's definitely in the same vein. To get the highest scores, every turn counts, and board management is a must. The look and feel of the game is excellent. Think carefully about each move and you'll be handling 50+ requests in no time :)

Twofold. Bad bad bad!!! No directions on how to play. Not self explanatory. Best thing?? DELETE

Very good. A couple small changes could make it great.. Very addictive and challenging game. It's actually worth the price. But it needs a thorough help section in game. The initial tutorial doesn't explain everything. It took me several hours to figure out some crucial mechanics and options. It also absolutely MUST allow background audio. Not that the built in music isn't nice a few times through. But people will quit playing if they can't listen to anything else while it's open as is currently the case.

Two problems. It's a clever concept well executed except for two problems. The first is pretty simple; the screen pulses red when I'm close to losing, which is frankly painful in the dark. The second is a little more complicated. There's a definite point of no return with puzzles that can feel very frustrating; it's pretty obvious when you've lost, but the game doesn't allow you to quit (that I can see.) this leaves you making one or two useless moves while the screen flashes red. Ouch. Demoralizing. It would also be nice if, as in other infinite puzzle games, the game offered a popup or banner when you reached a new high score. That's a powerful motivator and would take some of the bad taste out of losing.

pay my money back. in app day nothjn say this app is need payment and i click for download i want my money back idont want this puzzle game
