Dexcom Clarity Comments & Reviews 2026

Health events log self-deletes. I am a new user of this app, and after carefully entering my health events for the last few days (insulin, carbs, exercise), today I logged in to find that all of my events have disappeared. It says you can find previous events on the Dexcom Clarity app but, although they are mentioned in the user guide,I couldn’t find them. After speaking with tech-support I discovered that the health events are there, but they’re hard to find. You have to go Reports and click on Daily to generate a daily report, and then you can see them, but there is some delay between what you enter in the DEXCOM 6 app and the events that show on the Clarity app.

Great information!. I had a CGM for a time about 10 years ago and wasn’t very impressed. I’m giving it another shot and so far have been blown away at how helpful the clarity app is for me. I can generate beautiful and easy to understand charts in a couple of clicks and see trends to help me manage my diabetes better. This is a wonderful tool. I don’t understand the negative reviews I’ve seen- everything has worked flawlessly for me. Great job Dexcom!

Dysfunctional. Having lived with T1D for the past 54 years I’m amazed at the technological advancements I’ve seen over the past 2 decades. Dexcom CGMs paired with semi-closed loop automatic insulin pumps like Tandem with Control IQ are the best game changers yet! I’ve gone from G5, G6, and now G7. And I had such high hopes for this latest but not greatest upgrade. The G7 itself is flawed, typically provides sporadic & inaccurate readings for the first and last days’ for 4-6hrs! The app itself provides great information in many different levels. But its calibration feature is ridiculous! Rejecting 80% of finger-stick BGs calibration attempts. I also don’t understand why one must pair new CGMs on both the Tandem & Dexcom apps when these devices are paired together?? I do like that the Dex7 app allows for QR scans for new sensor pairing.

iPad Support? Nope! Useless features? Sure!. The useful bits of this app would be perfect for native iPad support for the same reasons you don’t usually paint or write music or essays on your phone. I want to see everything. Instead I get to see very little. I have no idea why the "percentage while you were in range metric" is even there, much less why it gets top billing. I think it’s worse than useless in the same way frequently measuring how much you weigh gets in the way of losing weight. It doesn’t tell you what you are doing right and what you are doing wrong. It doesn’t help you understand how to do better. It only needlessly adds complacency that you are doing good enough or anxiety that you aren’t doing good enough. It doesn’t tell you why your diabetes does what it does which is kind of the point of a continuous glucose monitor.

Love my G6. I switched from G5 to G6 fall of 2019 and have had very few problems! So far only two G6 have failed to work correctly never stopping only asking me to calibrate with strips about twice a day! But DEXCOM was quick to replace those two! Thank you DEXCOM as have no physical symptoms to warn me about lows, so the warnings remind me and drinking a SPRITE works quickly to raise me out of trouble!!! Very happy and looking forward to more upgrades and easier monitors in future.... Judy in Rockingham, VA

A very useful tool. If you are diabetic, you need a continuous blood glucose monitoring system. I’d have a continuous blood glucose monitoring system, it should be a Dexcom g7, as it is the best on the market. If you use the Dexcom continuous blood glucose monitoring system, you must use the clarity app to collect meaningful trend data about your sugar history. It can change you life. T has changed mine. I wish I’d started using it four or five years sooner, as doing so would have prevented a heart attack — and maybe I’d still have ten toes. My a1c has gone from 13 to 6.2. I give all the credit to proper use for g ozempic, Dexcom, and the clarity app. Take care of yourself. Stay healthy. Don’t die. Someone in this world loves and needs you, I promise.

EXCELLENT INFORMATION.... ...that helps me closely control my glucose levels. Makes me aware of exactly what my glucose levels are 24/7. Aids with more accurate carb counting. With other meters, I could never completely control my glucose levels. My last meter was a Libre 2. Thaw accompanying app was pretty useless. I’ve been a type 1 for 61 years. This app is an amazing revolution in diabetic care. Don’t know what I’d do without it.

Know Your Body. OMG ! This monitor Dexcom G6 definitely shows you what is going on inside yourself . GPS , it puts a halt ( No , I don’t want to take that route. We all have choices to make . I Thank GOD , for allowing me this awesome opportunity to really get the knowledge of my body with this Dexcom G6 kit No more worries, one week using this monitor has changed my life , Thank You Dexcom for this amazing, awesome invention , of course from GOD who made it happen BDE!

Not enough data error. My clarity app worked beautifully until a few weeks ago. Now I don’t get any reports, only the muss she “ not enough data“. Can someone help me out? Update: I’ve decided to change my review to five stars because for a few years this APP worked beautifully and I relied on its information. Once we figure out what happened, I’m sure I will love it again

Life Saving. My doctor placed me on Dexcom, because I crashed twice during the middle of the night at levels of 35 and 39 which we all know is deadly. Since I’ve been on Dexcom, I’ve avoided crashes due to the alarm. I make better decisions as I can see my current blood sugar reading. Customer service is out standing. Many times I have had human error while applying sensor. The representatives have replaced my sensors each time. My sister is on Libre they don’t have the same policies and they dont provide replacements like Dexcom. I love this product. So happy my physician connected me with Dexcom! I highly recommend this product! Ask you Doctor for Dexcom!

Surprisingly enjoyable to use. I am finding that even on days that don’t exactly go to plan, I can meet my goals more often than I thought possible. My diabetes educator told me I was doing much better than I thought I was doing. He said that meeting my goals would allow me to live longer and healthier. A great outcome that I had not expected since my diabetes stopped being more controlled. I very much like using my dexcom6 app.

Terrific reporting and trendspotting. The Clarity app does the real heavy lifting for the Dexcom ecosystem. All of the reporting and trending is amazing, with trends and graphs and really helpful displays that turn the raw data from continuous glucose monitoring into something much more informative and actionable. I wish the Clarity app had native iPad support; all of these reports could really benefit from the increased screen real estate. Other than that, though, it’s pretty much perfect.

Frustration since last app update. Since the the last update (2.23), I have lost the “glucose management indicator “ all it says in that space is “ not enough information “. I found that information helpful to me. Have tried calling Dexcom, but ended the call since the person kept asking for the same information again and again. Yes I have tried rebooting my iPhone, have deleted the app without any luck. Help I want my GMI back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How i like the clarity app. i have type one diabetes and this app has changed my whole life and the way i control my diabetes. This app is great and so is the Dexcom app to whoever has diabetes please use these apps thank you for whoever made them!! 💯💯 If you have siblings or family members who also have diabetes then please consider using the Dexcom follow app as well. that app lets you follow their blood sugar’s and comes in handy! As i have two siblings who have diabetes one is my sister and one is my brother and this app is so very helpful!!!

Good product needs a little improvement. The tool is great to get a sense of where you are at for glucose levels. Things like showing the correct timeline when viewing 90 days are what makes a great app not so great. The timeline on the 90 day graph says the correct dates but shows the bars shifted in time into the future. It does not match. Also would be great to give a range when there is a standard deviation for the GMI with a range instead of one number. Makes it seem like that is the number when it is not. Also would like to have it be able to export the data.

Doesn’t record very well. I really like this app when it works, but I have long periods when it shows no data. The interesting thing is that the Dexcom G-6 app also loses data, but not at the same time. I also have the t:connect app from Tandem which rarely loses contact with the CGM. I sent a request for support to Dexcom and their response was that I should contact Tandem for support. When I contacted Tandem their recommendation was to delete the app and reinstall it. This was done, but the problem persists. If Dexcom responds to this rating I would hope they are willing to step up to the plate to help solve it. After all, it is their app and their CGM.

Slow, illegible and redundant. This is a ridiculously unnecessary app needed just to view your food and medication entries and even that it can’t do well. There’s still no log for your food and medication entries so if you want to see anything resembling a logbook of activity, you have to load the excruciatingly slow “reports”. The reports are minuscule PDFs for your phone. (PDFs do not belong on phones!) But even if you had a magnifying glass to view the teeny-tiny reports, the daily report — the only one with a semblance of a log — doesn’t actually tell you what your entry is. You get a jumble of icons, but no details. All in all, this is a pathetic app I would love to uninstall.

Meal delivery. I have been struggling to deliver insulin to cover my meals. Finally I used the Clarity’s daily graphs to compare my deliveries. I printed a few of my “star” meals that worked and wrote how I delivered (extended or not)and what I ate. I suggest one eats the same meals and makes different deliveries until it works. The graphs has also been updated/enhanced. It’s very easy to read and comprehend on my progress or fall back. Overall the developer is doing a very good job to meet our needs.

Need to have user defined reports and formats. Reports are generally nice, but not quite enough for me. I’d love to see more customizable reports in formats such as *.csv files so I can download raw data to my computer to create my own charts and graphs that will be more useful for me. For example, I’d like to see how my sleep is affected by glucose activity and how my eating choices several hours earlier enters into the equation. That data isn’t shared between Apple Health and the G7 app. Same goes for other things like skin conditions that can only be tracked manually to see if/when glucose levels may be implicated. Our bodies contain dozens (hundreds or thousands?) of systems that do not work in isolation. Update: I discovered there is an export to csv function by logging into my account on the website. Sadly it’s only partially useful as the raw data doesn’t include meal text or details regarding activities. So to get the info I need, have to get glucose data here, then download custom reports to PDF, which then need to be saved as spreadsheet files, edited to remove unnecessary data and formatting, then merged with the glucose data file. Just include ALL data in the export file, please!!!!

Dexcom has been Horrible. This app is a total disgrace! After spending $500/month for these horrible sensors, the performance of this app is very poor. It will beep loud and you can only turn off alerts for a certain period of time. Lack of features. A children’s game have more reliability and rich in features then this app. The sensors randomly fail on iPhone. Good luck getting the sensor to link with Apple Watch. CVS will no replace the defective sensors and the Dexcom support gives you a very hard time to replace the defective sensors. Did I mention that the app is horrible? Over two years using this product and highly unsatisfied. I’ve seen next to no improvements in these two years, used it on iPhone 14, 15, 16, and 17 Pro Max. Ridiculous app, shame on these developers. Something is definitely wrong with the executives who lead these developers. ZERO VISION! ZERO LEADERSHIP! I DO NOT recommend DEXCOM. I wish a better company replaces their marketshare.

Less data available in recent update. I used to really love to review the AGP report from the Clarity app because it had detailed information regarding time in each blood glucose range. A recent update simplified the time in range information to be basically the same information on the summary. I used to see the actual percentage of time in each blood glucose range to the tenth decimal. Each .1 of a percent is 1.5 minutes! Now the AGP report removes the less than one decimal information. For example the old report would say 0.2% below 55 mg/dl now it would just show <1 for the same data. Why can’t I have more detailed information on the AGP report anymore? I love the app but liked it better when it had more of my data available to me. Hopefully this can be brought back. I already completed a support ticket right when the update came out thinking maybe the data just got moved. I learned then that the data I was looking for was removed not just moved. The change was a choice made by the developer. Per the suggestion below I put in another service request. I also removed a star because I doubt doing the same thing I did before will change anything.

Very poor app. The Dexcom glucose monitoring app works fine but clarity is horrible. I have to install and reinstall and change the password every time I try to access clarity. I have worked with Support and with Reddit threads to troubleshoot all of the possible reason why this could be happening, including making sure my iPhone language and keyboard match my location. Very frustrating very disappointing. I don't even use it which is a pretty dismal thing when you're trying to manage your diabetes. I look at my reporting through the Tandem software. So many opportunities for improvement. This is a known issue and it does not seem that Dexcom is attending to users needs. I'd give it a zero if it was possible.

Technically deficient. My major complaint with this app is that it keeps kicking me out of my account, forcing me to log back in, and every time it freezes during that process. The barrier to use is very high. It has limited utility too. It’s biggest is behind-the-scenes to link to my endo, but because I was logged out the data didn’t upload so my last appointment meant he had nothing to assess—and I had no way to know I had been logged out unless I checked back in to see the limited suite of things the app could show me. In short the app cost me $125 copay for a worthless endo visit. This app needs to be far easier to just log into. Enable MFA, or tether to Apple ID.

Dexcom Clarity. Just started using Dexcom yesterday and discovered the clarity app today by accident and really happy to see the detailed data it provides. Will be extremely helpful in managing my diabetes. It would be really nice if Dexcom could provide average glucose for each day, as well as a 90-day one with a translation to approximate A1C number. My finger stick 1-touch reveal was able to provide my average and equivalent A1C in the comparitor with flexibility of inputting A1C from the bloodwork which provided a clear picture of how accurate the finger stick data (4 times a day) was compared to a 90-day A1C. Dexcom has so much more data (every 5 mins) and intelligence, so easy to do. Regards Amit

New to CGMs. I have just started using a CGM to help me understand my glucose levels better. Really like this app for the statistics and historical data. Suggestions: it would be nice if I was able to adjust the top and bottom numbers of graph for the daily report, allowing me to better visualize the fluctuations within my personal target range. Also, a great add to the daily chart would be the high, low, average and fasting glucose… on the daily report… rather than using the daily statistics - which averages the days when there are more than 7 days included in the report. Thank you for this app!

Valuable data and feedback. This ap when connected with my G6 CGM provides a huge amount of data that can be reviewed and analyze multiple ways to help one see , better understand, and ultimately better manage ones control of diabetes. I set personal improvement goals and have the ability to see my progress. The A1C reading is consistently .1 % higher than my actual blood lab results.

I am no stranger to technology.... My 2 year old daughter is diabetic. Not only can I not easily connect her Dexcom G6 so that I can see it through the app, but it also says I’m the patient. That part cannot be edited, (it’s in the profile section) and when I input my daughter’s info so that it says she’s the patient, it tells me account holders have to be over 18. :( You should be able to easily choose who is being monitored for diabetes (especially sine I’ll be sending this to clinics) and despite me creating her a ‘dependent account’ I still can’t hook up her CGM or even tell the app that she is the patient. And they use this for clinics! And yes my phone is compatible, I have the iPhone XS.

Great companion!! Love it. ONE request though!!. This is the reason I choose to do the Dexcom Stelo over the counter CGM. So I could look at this data. However, because I am not actually diabetic, the graph scale is too small to decipher what’s really going on between the 70&140 range. Please allow us to set the scale or allow us to set the scale to dynamic so that it shows a scale appropriate for the data displayed.

Diabetes history in my pocket. During my 70 years (1952) of being a T1 diabetic I have seen it all when it comes to technology of T1 diabetes care. Clarity, giving me both immediate and easy access to my Time in Range as well as A1C, is an excellent aid. I also find it remarkable that I can now immediately look and see my pertinent sugar numbers that a short time ago I would’ve needed blood to be drawn at the medical facility. This new ability strongly encourages me to try and better my numbers when they dissatisfy me.

Data Reporting. I really enjoy how consistent this app is and how the different reports layout is to make navigation easier. My only wish list item is under the daily reporting. It would be nice if I could log the Blood Glucose when I am creating an event. What would really be nice is to categorize an event as Breakfast, Lunch, Snack, Dinner, High, Low, etc and one tile under the daily report that gives me that category with the Blood Glucose, Carbs and Units. The reason for my feedback is that I have a young T1D who struggled with logging the information separately and the daily chat for past days makes it difficult to be accurate on what her Blood Glucose was two days ago at 10:32 AM. I am detailed oriented and guessing wheaten ie was 175 vrs 180 is difficult. No other feedback and other then this one item I strongly recommend this app to others.

Inaccurate Information. At this point, I’m not sure if it is something that I am doing wrong or if there is a problem with this app. However, I tend to lean towards the second choice. Clarity does not match up with the information in Stelo. Clarity will report to me that I was in range the prior day for 100% of the time. However, Stelo will say that the exact same day that I was in range for 100%, Stelo reports that I was in range for 91% of the time. In addition, I visually verified that the information does not match up with each other.. Thank you in advance.

App doesn’t properly work. OK, I used to really like the app but now you have issues that need to be fixed and nobody’s fixing them not not everything is correct down there used to give basic Guide of the A1c that hasn’t worked in almost a year. You need to fix the issues on there because I have better tracking on my Dexcom G7 and Tandem app than this anymore. you need a major update and all these reviews. I’m reading her for a year to two years ago. What is up with that? What are you not doing that you should be doing? Please fix it.

G6 System. If I could give this system a 10 I would. After using this system for my diabetes understanding and control, I wish I had it 35 years ago. My A1C has consistently been below 6.5 versus 8.0 to 10.5 since I started using this system and understanding how different food reacts to my blood sugar levels constantly without poking my fingers for blood 30 times a day. Thank you to the Dexcom team for the great work and dedication. Myles

Great App for a great product! Learn how to keep your diabetes under control for a Healthier Life!. This app help me to understand my blood sugar is not affected by just what I eat but sleep and my emotions. I wish I had something like this when I first became diabetic and I would have been able to avoid the many health issues I have because of diabetes!

Does the bare minimum. Best I can say is that it’s adequate. The basic monitoring information is here. Detailed information that would be useful for understanding results and changing dosage or behavior isn’t included. The information is not presented in a mobile phone-friendly display. The reports are neither attractive nor user-friendly. The display is particularly frustrating. Unable to zoom and hold any particular page or graph to review - the app keeps snapping back to the top of the first page, even if you keep your fingers on the screen. Information is not available at a granular level. For example, the only two places where you can compare readings over time (say, morning fasting levels) are the overlay - which displays in a sideways orientation, so almost impossible to read; and the AGP graphs, which are tiny, can’t be zoomed and held for review, and don’t include any time or meal/activity/meds/notes data. The app seems solely and minimally designed to confirm a diagnosis and treatment plan. It does NOT provide information which would be useful for making helpful lifestyle and behavior changes; or present information in a clearly understandable or visually appealing way. There are several other CGMs with apps that present more detailed data in much more useful; more easily read and understood; and more attractive displays and reports. I recommend that any prospective user of a CGM review how the collected data is presented and the reports available in the app compared to others BEFORE filling a prescription for this particular brand.

Pretty good so far, but missing one thing. I’ve been using the monitor 2 months. Clarity is pretty easy to use, but it seems to be missing one thing; the ability to choose specific dates for the report reports generated. I’ve been sick my glucose numbers are all over the place. I want reports for the first month of my use, but can’t seem to generate them solely for that period. The averages generated with the 2 to 90 are skewed because of my three weeks of illness. Checked the website all over see if there’s a place This, but haven’t found an email or a customer service # for support of this app. Hopefully it developer will be able to answer my questions..

Benefits of Dexcom clarity data summaries. Provide a summary of daily weekly information on one page for comparing information that before I could only obtain over a 24 hour, or by taking pictures of each day and saving them. VAGP allows me to. Trend and swings from day today over a multi day. It helps by providing a record of where your blood sugars have trended or varied over a long period of time. This is very helpful in being able to analyze trends or things that mask, trends and lead to bad control. It takes a lot of work out of how I used to have to do this. It is easy to use and provide some analytical tools to help even further.. Thank you.

Works but poor iPad support. The app does a lot right, in particular the option to link your data to your healthcare provider, GMI reporting and more. I’ve found this app to help me my manage my T1D and improve control. Downside is there is no real support for iPad. The app appears to be optimized for iPhone only. The biggest problem I’ve had is it nearly always takes a full 24 hours to calibrate new sensors with results varying from 30-50 mg/dL from my meter throughout the day and night before finally settling down. New sensor days almost always feature “sensor night” where I’m sure to get false alarms on both highs or lows. While Dexcom is good about replacing failed sensors, I’ve had multiple failures over my first nine months and they take a long time to deliver replacements. I’ve experienced 40 minute wait times for support but that seems to have improved recently. If you happen to be near the end of your supply and have a sensor failure, that can leave a gap in coverage. I’ve also had a transmitter failure which not only left me without coverage until a replacement transmitter could arrive, but this wasted the sensor it was paired with.

This is too complicated for a phone app. Lots of reports that you can’t read on your phone. Even though they claim to have an app for Mac they don’t. Only for the iPhone. And you can run reports all day and never be able to compare two data points from two different days e.g. 9pm Thursday and Friday. Not being able to see more than 24 hours of data points is ridiculous. Why gather all this data and not allow the user to see it. The UI on both the G7 and the Clarity app need to be available for the Mac and all of the data needs to be available as well as be able to be seen clearly. Not a fan.

Fantastic Experience. You guys have done a very good job. I love the Apple integration and the reports that you generate. The most valuable report is the overlay report with the icons at the bottom and the glucose graph at the top. It helps me understand why my glucose is raising or lowering based on my activity or meals. In my opinion, this overlay chart is the most valuable of all the reports and you should look to generate it by default. Currently, its value is hidden and someone has to generate it. Fantastic app, thank you! The all in one place and the two way integration with Apple health and watch is super important. Thank you for giving a holistic overview.

Overall good. I like the way this technology works over all. It's pretty hands off and tracks in good detail. However, I would like if there was a way to make personal note that is not listed. I would like to be able to make a personal note like when I've done everything to correct a high but it won't go down, or I tried my beat to estimate carbs for a dessert at a restaurant but I still went high. This would help when talking to my provider to be able to check why my blood sugar might have been high at a specific time.

App is good enough for my purposes, but needs improvement. The app displays my sugar accurately enough (usually within 0-15 off) and works on my iPhone without crashing. One thing that I would like the Dexcom app engineers to reconsider is how the urgent low alarms work. I am in a situation where I need my phone turned on, but all noises and vibrations to cease. This app put my in a very embarrassing situation in front of my boss’s boss; to make a long story short I ate my glucose tablets and corrected for my low sugar before attending the event mentioned, but the urgent low alarm went off 3 times during his speech before I had a chance to turn it off. Please for the love of God let us silence those low alarms completely. I understand the liability aspect, but putting a simple disclaimer would prevent any potential law suits. Thank you for reading.

Great App - How About Formatting for iPad?. Dexcom is the best we’ve got, so I can’t complain. The app works well for me, and I like the options, screens and reports. However, it would be a much more enjoyable experience if we could see it formatted for horizontal view on the iPhone and for iPad, also in horizontal view. The limitation of having it only in the vertical view is that the font is difficult to read. I end up using Sugarmate to view the data only because I can see everything so much more clearly! But I like the data and reports in Clarity better... thanks!

Dates are not Flexible. The data provided is great. It would be nice if on the daily report you got the average glucose for each day and long with the events. But my biggest gripe is you can’t go back in time. You should be able to pick a date and then get a report based on that date. I would like to be able to go back in time and run a weekly report for each week. It seems crummy to have to remember to run the report each week and save it so I can go back and look at my progress. For what you pay for the device you shouldn’t have pay for a separate app to get this kind of flexibility.

Dexcom G7. This app saved my life! Thanks to the partners who developed this app! They sure knew what they were doing. My doctors can see the information and know if they need to increase my insulin or decrease it. So far, my blood sugars have been in range. If you get the time, please order the Dexcom G7! Your Medicare and Medicaid will pay for it. Please give this a try and trust me on this. You will never regret it! This is a free app!! Thanks again!

Report date ranges. I am using the Clarity app to track blood sugars and I am in need of sorting my data out by the month. In the app I don’t know how to select the date range for the data I want to look at. This function does work through the web page. On the web account I can sort data by month (April 1st to April 30th for example). Are there any upcoming options in app to select date range for data?

Was Great While I Had the Tandem X2. I’m hoping to see integration in the future so I don’t have to have multiple apps (Dexcom G7 AND Tandem Mobi app constantly running in the background) for Clarity to receive data. I’ve loved the G7 with the Mobi so far but I’m missing Clarity! I’d love to know if there’s any plans to fix this in the future.. but regardless, I love the Clarity app because it’s nice to get an idea of where I’m trending BEFORE I go see my endocrinologist lol

Locked out of in sign-in over tech issue. Locked out in sign-in over tech issue. Tried fill out support form on-line. Fields are too short to explain even with severe run-on sentence to reduce character count. My problem is; I set up G7 app and all works well. I went to sign in to Clarity and am stuck at entering my email address. I keep my email address as an IOS keyboard shortcut. I entered the shortcut (which worked fine in the G7 app) and it did not expand. I tried to back space to fill in field manually. Backspace wont function. I tried to place cursor at beginning of field—cant place cursor. I fully closed out of app and re opened Clarity app but shortcut characters are still there. Cant fix field. So email field is filled in with shortcut and i cant make it go away to manually fill field correctly. Im stuck. This is an IT issue with the creators of the Clarity app.

No data notifications. Experiencing far more notifications of No Data which is also shared with my spouse’s Dexcom Follow app. My iPhone and Dexcom receiver are next to each other, less than 5’ from me while sleeping. This is disruptive to our sleep! The alarms sent to the Follow App are crucial because I cannot hear while I sleep without my hearing aids. As I have received 2 defective sensors recently, I’ve learned to keep the box & applicator on hand (instead of throwing them away) to verify which sensor did not work correctly. I’ve also seen that Dexcom is working to resolve issues with the update to iOS and we may experience glitches. Sure hope this gets resolved ASAP. Sure hope that Dexcom is making the case of necessity to health insurance for Type 2 Diabetics who experience LOW glucose readings. It’s a battle to get Medicare insurance to pay for these important devices.

Unreliable. My sensor regularly stops working. Sometimes before it quits I’ll get an alert that my blood sugar is dangerously low. I used to believe it and eat sugar to raise my blood sugar to soon realize after checking my meter that the sensor was just faulty resulting in 300+ blood sugars. Now I manually check it when it goes low just to make sure which is a hassle. I’ve been using this for years and have never went one full 10 days without the sensor malfunctioning. It seems like with as much as they charge for this device, they could make it work properly. Or change the name from continuous glucose monitor to works when it wants to monitor.

Laggy and awful to use.. It could be so much better! The app is slow, it takes ages to load if it even works at all. The login process is time consuming and laggy. I tend to avoid using it at all and stick to diasend as it just works. The reports however, are valuable so id love it if I didn’t have to deal with the horrid login each time.

Does not work!. Suddenly not working at all !

hiho. i can always see what i have to improve in n i can always stay on top of my diabetes

Lifesaver. Since having my Dexcom6 I have now managed to keep & maintain my sugar levels in a perfect range! Most days over 90-100% in range!!! Also having the instant knowledge of highs & lows make it so much easier to manage my insulin. My last HB1C bloods are 6.5…. Thankyou Dexcom😊

International version doesn't work. Trying this from Australia. Just loops with an "authentication error" on startup, despite me not even having configured any account settings.

Not worth having.. This app is not worth having. Every time I try to log into this app we go round and round in circles. You can’t set up fingerprint or passcode log in like other apps either. Not that the app is ever working anyway.

Can’t signup ? Worst app ever!. Don’t allow sign up.

Easier Login?. App and functionality is great but any chance of having a touch/fingerprint login or the app auto remembers username?

Doesn’t work. Broken! Won’t let you login with correct credentials. The desktop version is awesome but this version doesn’t work.

It works in Australia now 👍🏻👍🏻. But still a little slow, especially to download reports. Nice to have on hand to check recent time in range.

Max Pettman. The information provided by this app is amazing which provides all the information you would ever require I have been diabetic for over 30 years and was incorrectly treated as a type 2 untill 14 years ago when I was correctly diagnosed as a Type1 The Dexcom G5 is great as it provides accurate information in real time concerning the glucose trends in real time,no more guess work. I would recommend this system to all diabetics Regards Max Pettman Melbourne Australia

Great Goals Achievement. Since using Dexcom Sensors it’s great to see my Results anytime I want too in Clarity! I’ve been a Type 1 Diabetic since 1963 when 6 1/2 years old. These features are now the best ever!

Great reports. The reports are great, better than I was expecting. But how come the app can’t remember my login credentials from one fay to the next is baffling, and even then when I log back in again *every single time* I get a login failed error before the app actually goes through anyway

Super App!. Have been using G6 and Clarity to get my BG’s under control with excellent results. Highly recommended.

Wow!. I am a diabetic in Canada who in the last 6 months began using DexCom with this app. I really had my doubts—not about DexCom, which has improved my blood sugar to the extent that my physician is boggled—about its ability to “predict” my A1c levels. Last week I has my first lab work in 6 months. Clarity said my A1c would be 6.3. And the lab confirmed this exactly! What a game changer… to be able to look at an app and see exactly how you are doing. Yes, this works in Canada.

Data entry. When I enter the amount of insulin I have to go to HOME before I can enter the dosage of the second kind of insulin or the carbs. Also there is no way I can enter additional information. For example I enter HEALTH:ALCOHOL for Ozempic but I can’t enter the dosage.

Still doesn’t work in Canada. It says unrecognized username/ password; works well on the browser

App doesn’t work in Canada. I can log in online but can’t use the app! The app says I have the wrong credentials!? And even if I try to make a new account on the app it only allows you to select the United States as an option to make a new account! 👎👎

Canada. Make it work in Canada!!!

Still doesn’t work in Canada. Still doesn’t work in Canada !!! Why not? Take it off the Canadian App Store then.

Dexcom Clarity. I live in Canada and can’t log in. It doesn’t give an option to choose Canada.

Time for the Canadian Dev team to pull up their socks. Seriously we are still only supporting 14.1? This is something that each of us pays thousands of dollars for and we are lucky if it is updated on a quarterly basis, meanwhile the US counterpart is frequently updated.

Does not work anymore. I used this app since it came out. After the last update it does not recognize my username/email and codes do not go to my email. I am in Canada. I relied on this app to see how my life was functioning with diabetes now I have no idea. Very disappointed. Please fix!!!

Login still doesn’t work. I’m not sure if the developer was only thinking of American diabetics for this or not. I can log into the online version easily but this IOS app never recognizes my username.

Not able to login. Not able to login to the App. I can go online and login, but when I enter everything at login it says not recognized or did I forget my password. New to G6, but I would be getting my next month from Dexcom if this is how I am supposed to get my data only. I will be going over to Libra

Useless. To register. Too many small details in too many different locations: I gave up while using UpToDate iPhone. Poor intuitive programming.

Problem with new update. Since the new update, I get each time I open the app a warning that I got network problems and I’m not sure if it’s real.

Can Not Log In. I’ve been able to log in to the Clarity “.eu” web portal with the account I created for my G6 and all my data is there but the app’ simply returns a wrong log in information error. I’m in Canada. ( sigh… )

Login doesn’t work in Canada!!. This app has me so irritated 😠 I’ve followed all steps, downloaded, re-downloaded, checking country/region. Tried on web browsers, it’s ALWAYS the same response- username/password invalid!! No it’s not!!! My endocrinologist wants a detailed graph of my my readings from DEXCOM G6. Can’t get those sorry. PLEASE FIX THIS APP!!!

Doesn’t work in Canada. This app only allows American users. It would be nice as a Canadian to be able to use it but I guess we can’t. To bad.

iPad version. It’s very surprising that the application does not support an iPad landscape mode. it would be great to see all the date in the iPad landscape mode.

Doesn’t work. This app doesn’t work, always says my login information is wrong. I’ve been able to log in maybe once on the app even through I have no problem logging into the website. I gave up and deleted the app because it was a waste of space.

Great concept, poor UX. Good things about this app: being able to review patterns on my phone when it works. Bad things about this app: it can’t keep me logged in from one day to the next.

Can’t login.. Doesnt work in Canada.

Amazing. I see a bunch of reviews saying it isn’t working for Canada, but I live there and I was able to login in. It’s much more convenient now to look at my blood sugar to make adjustments. The app works fine and looks identical to the website.

Poor user experience. In order to see the data, you have to load one or more reports. This is a slow process. Frankly, I should be able to see high level trends in the Dexcom sensor app, rather than have to navigate to another app, load a bunch of reports, decide my dosage and navigate BACK to the other Dexcom app to enter my insulin amount. Dexcom needs to integrate some of the Clarity functionality with the sensor app, then trash Clarity altogether. Horrible UX design and CX.

Please read if you are in Canada and facing issue. If you are in Canada and unable to use this app. Please check your region and language settings. I was not able to to use this all for two years but as I changed the region, it works.

Settings.... App looks good beside the fact it thinks the year is 2029 and since there is no date and time setting WITHIN the app, there is no way to change it. The app isn’t really at fault here though, it’s the fact that Dexcom Clarity on the web also defaults to it and I can’t change it on either platforms. Great job Dexcom, can’t wait for you to overlook this flaw and make the thousands we spend on your decent equipment go to waste :)

Information is power. This app provides an overview and insights that if followed up on allows better control.

Bugged. Doesn't let me log in

Terrible now. I used to love this app, but then something changed. Maybe an upgrade? Recently, rather than just opening up when I clicked the Clarity icon, I was asked to enter my user name and password. Nope. I was told either password or user name was wrong. But I used my IPhone password function. But I persisted. I used the “Forgot” password or username feature. Using one I was able to get a code from Clarity. But the code didn’t work. Using the other option, no code. As I can’t use the app, it deserves ZERO stars. Can someone explain why an app that refuses to work deserves a ONE star rating.

Reports generated in different language. The information that you can get using this app is super helpful, but when I tried generating the reports, they were all in a different language than English. I cannot figure out any way to fix this.

Doesn’t work. What’s the point of an app that doesn’t work? Was very excited to see my data, but couldn’t get past the login screen which consistently pops up as “invalid token”... very disappointing. How else am I supposed to see my trend graphs?

Unable to keep Clarity working every couple of days it stops working . Very difficult to reload. Thank you Stephen

Frustrating. App is very helpful for diabetes management WHEN IT WORKS!! I’ve had this app for months now and I have yet to be able to successfully login in on the first attempt!! Dexcom, why is this such an ongoing issue??

Does not work. Does not work. Does not even allow you to login. You would think an app that’s been out for so long in the states would work in Canada

Reading and sensors. I’ve been with dexcom since it started just crazy how technology has changed with the times.. I give thanks to dexcom for giving me a safe and long life with control readings and low alert

Will not connect to iPhone 13.. I have gone thru every video, every written word and this app will not connect to my iPhone. I am absolutely NOT interested in phone calls, chats etc. Just written instructions and understandable videos. All info available contradicts each other. Too frustrated to deal with anymore, but I do not Medtronic. The Omnipod 5 is the best thing since running water. I just need to get everything connected but can’t because this app refuses to work.

Love the app but fix the new login issue. Love Dexcom Clarity and use it daily to help keep track of my glucose trends but I’m substracting a star because since the app updated a few days ago it does not keep me logged in and I have to keep re-entering my login and password frequently which is unnecessary and annoying.

Connection. Can’t for the life of me get the clarity app to connect. Was fine till yesterday. Now all I get is can’t connect to notifications. Tried everything. Deleted. Reloaded. Shut down phone. Restarted. Called and was waiting for 40 minutes to talk to someone and got hung up. I am currently in the middle of a review and if I can’t send them my diagnostic by Tuesday they will deny my continuing the Dexcom system. Please help.

Nearly Perfect. I love everything about this app. Reports section is very helpful when discussing with medical personel. Only thing that drives me nuts is the Goals detail page for 90 days, always shows next month in advance. In other words its showing 2 months past and on month future for your 90 day averages. Rather presumptuous, you think. Outside of that, this is a very helpful app. 👍👍

Gratitude. People who are most grateful are happiest. Amongst my many generous gifts is that of CGM and insulting pump. For those of us who were insulin dependent diabetics before these innovations, constant fingerprints and injections was the only path to control. Now the accuracy and reassurance of CGM gives us a means to be control with significantly less pain and swings in balance. I am grateful for this every single day.

What a great app. It’s easy to use gives tons of info. Connected directly to the doc office. Easy to print out too. I can decide what is my sugar level range that I want to check in and change it as I wish. Thank you Clarity !!!

Great info!. I really enjoy using the 2 day model reports to provide daily status. Additionally, the 30 day & 90 day reports are helpful for both me and my endocrinologist to determine trends. The only issue with the app is that at times it creates an error report. Other than that one issue, I am very pleased with the app.

Great App!. First, let me start by saying this app works perfectly fine. From the instant I installed it, the app logged into my Dexcom account and has provided me with valuable information on my running blood glucose levels. The overview switches easily between 48 hours and 7- to 90-days. The report function works well and provides great details. For anyone using the Dexcom G5, this is a must-have app!

Life Saver. Clarity makes everything clear for the ups and downs of your diabetes health. It takes the guess work out of everything and makes everything point blank.

Does not work on iPhone 13. I loved this app with my old iPhone. But in January I upgraded to a iPhone 13 and this app doesn’t work with the new phone. I tried to delete the app and download it again. But no luck. I hope you get it fixed soon for us with iPhone 13’s.

Love this app. This app makes it so easy to track my blood glucose levels. I love knowing what my A1c will be before I even go see the doctor. It also help me track how many unsafe lows I have over a period of time. Thank you to the developers.

Delete. Had to delete app today since it wanted me to sign in again, why I do not know, and it would not accept my login, I checked user name, and ended up changing password. App did not allow login with new password so now it’s deleted. I actually liked this app but I cannot afford to keep screwing around with it.

Nolan Grade. Clarity has allowed me to gain insight on patters of sugar variances during a 24 hour period. I have used this information to Lower my A1C from 8.4 to 6.2. I have accomplished this result from better planned eating and use of medication. A side benefit is a loss of 14 pounds I feel I now control my Diabetes instead of it controlling me.

App no longer works. I have used this app for years until about a month ago it would just up and quit. It at first seemed to be linked to viewing the g6 widget, but changing the sensor makes the app quit as well. Had to install the sensor through my tandem pump. After deleting the app and reinstalling it over and over I don’t even look at it anymore, relying on my pump and the tandem t.connect app.

Best thing that happened to diabetics is Dexcom!. I have been a recent user of Dexcom for my patients as well as family. It has been wonderful to know sugars with both food intake and food type, portion choice and activity choice. It warns about low sugars also and avoids complications of low glucose. I strongly recommend it!

Font size. Please consider adding an option to change the font size. As an older adult with Macular Degeneration, it would be helpful for me to be able to increase the font size. Thank you.

This App has changed my life!. I am a brittle diabetic, and before I got the Dexcom G6 CGM, my A1c was between 10-13. Now it’s below 7! The reports I get from the Dexcom Clarity App have helped me finally get control of my diabetes. Thank you Dexcom! I love the detail the reports provide, and so does my endocrinologist.

Connection Issues. I have had connection issues within the app. I have logged out of the app and cannot get back in. Uninstalled and reinstalled from the App Store.

Very Good. This app helps me to see what my blood sugar has been doing, like patterns, average, time in range, etc. Another good app is Sugarmate, which connects to Dexcom. It is like an advanced version of the Dexcom app, like how long you’ve been in range for that day, and it’s MUCH easier to track insulin/carbs taken. Both highly recommended:

Something wrong with clarity. Clarity used to record all my blood sugars normally, now it’s far behind and it doesn’t record it all. What is recorded are small black dots spread out over a period of time. It all started on Wednesday. I signed out and signed back in but that didn’t fix it. Maybe it should be looked into, see if a update that will fix it can be come up with.

Review. It works well to show you when glucose goes up and what foods raise your blood sugar. It’s not that accurate on estimating an A1C. Showed me with an average A1C of 6.1 and 2 A1C tests showed I was at 5.6 at 90 days of use. Over all I like it and will continue to use it. Great product that I’d recommend.

It’s a shame!!!. App worked good, but can’t keep up with Apple iOs 17. Talked with tech support and they mentioned that have no time table for update. So now I can’t see my trends and I can’t share with anyone. Tech support suggested that I turn off automatic updates so it doesn’t happen again. So I guess I need to decide if I want to update security or see trends and have my wife know if my sugar is too low…hmmm….

App won’t open. Every time I go to open the app at my Drs office, it will never open. I’ve restarted my phone, I’ve done (I think it’s called) a hard restart, where I press the sleep button and home button at the same time till it restarts, and that doesn’t work. I close the app all together and restart it, nope, nothing. I press the app, the beginning shows up, and then it just closes all together after that. This is very inconvenient just because my dr relies on it to view my numbers every time I come in, so I have to view my numbers by other means. Please fix this problem!

So far okay…. Just downloaded this app and Stelo. Information and ease of use = excellent. What I want is to allow my nutritionist easy access to my real time data so that she can help me as my numbers are changing. I hope the developer can help me with this issue.

Needs option to add notes otherwise good.. The best thing about this is the estimated A1c. I have found it to be quite accurate. There should be an option to add notes to a date range, such as when the sensor is in too deep and the readings are completely crazy. This will help you remember to explain to your Dr why a weekly report looks so bad. Other than that it provides as good of information as the sensor.

Clarity. Clarity is a tremendous help to me with my Type 1 Diabetes. After having had T1 for 55 years (I am 72), I have seen many improvements in the treatment. Clarity is by far at the top of those improvements. It is very convenient for the patient to learn so much and is right their in the palm of their hands.

CGM control. I’ve had diabetes for over 15 years now, I really couldn’t ever get my A1C to under 8 with my line of work. Once I got my Dexcom and started using Charity app my blood sugar levels have dropped 2 to 3 points. My A1C is 7.8 now and I’m starting to lose some weight, I also feel a lot better.

Alarms. I agree with an another reviewer that it would be good to have the option to temporarily disable low alarms, at least the sounds (& maybe keep a low vibration), to avoid awkward public situations where I have treated / am treating the low with glucose, but there’s a lag in the glucose reading obviously which results in a beep. Any workaround solutions would be welcome. Otherwise this app & CGM is amazing and life changing.

2 Accounts. Whatever you do, do not make 2 accounts! I’ve been trying for YEARS to get my dexcom clarity to work after accidentally creating a duplicate account and have connected with their support team multiple times and no one has been able to get my clarity app to work with my dexcom app. It’s sad because when I’m able to upload my numbers, the clarity is so useful! I don’t want to be dependent on charging an additional device aside from my phone to keep track of my blood sugars so it’s very frustrating.

Nice App w/little flaw. The app is great, but I don’t like the most recent update with the time in range bar showing all colors even though you’re in 100% range. I liked it when it showed all green.

Finally fixed!!!. I am so glad! After a very long time of this app crashing Everytime you open it, it has finally been fixed! This app offers amazing information that I am so happy to be able to access again.

It’s very helpful!!. Since I’ve been using this my A1C has dropped to a 7 from a 14! It helps me know when I eat something if I should change portions or eat something else! I totally recommend it!! 😊

Somehow not getting data. I am on my 4th DexCom sensor. The DexCom app is working fine. I downloaded the Clarity app fairly soon after getting my first sensor, but have found it useless. When I check the Summary area, it says “Not enough data available” no matter how many days I choose. When I check Reports, no matter what I choose it says “This report could not be generated.” Clarity app is apparently not connected to the DexCom app or the sensor, and I have not been able to figure out how to get it connected. I might as well delete it.

Great idea with poor App. I just want to know who came up with the idea of 6 hrs silencing the App. Why not 8 hrs or 12 hrs? As a more than 20 yrs diabetic, I am well capable to choose for how long to silence it and when not to. I don’t need a App to advocate my well being. If you are looking to keep your blood glucose in a narrow range, this App is a huge nuisance. Can’t even get a night sleep without it waking you up.

Helpful but slow to update data. I wish the data from my STELO sensor was available in this app more quickly. It sometimes doesn’t update for hours. I do appreciate the many ways to look at the data this provides, however.

Change Log?. Good app works well but when you do a software upgrade it would be nice to have a change log of what had been fixed in terms of bugs and new features. As this is a critical medical device.

App Crashes with New Update. I used to love this app - it was far more reliable than even the Dexcom app was, and I could get a great gauge on my bg control issues/successes before I went in to the doctor. However, since the latest update, I cannot open the app. I click it, and it immediately closes. It does not even open the home screen before shutting down. I tried restarting my phone with no success. This is extremely disappointing. PLEASE FIX THIS. The app is unusable.

Blast from the past. I usually like this app a lot, and have always found the trend reports and in-range data really helpful. However, lately the app will only display data from April 2018. I have no idea why, but it’s very frustrating and I do t know how to fix it. I need to be able to see data about 2022, not data from over four years ago.

Getting information easier to use correctly. It is a little bit troublesome with navigating to get all of the information you have to offer in your app. I don’t think that it is so easy to get the information for me. Hopefully you’ll make it easier for patterns and best days results.

Life Changing Device. I was diagnosed with diabetes more than 30 years ago. I have never been able to be in control of my diabetes until I was afforded the opportunity to try Dexcom. I am now in control of my diabetes and am loosing weight. I’m grateful.

Good product, app is mediocre. I appreciate this device very much, but the app is not very helpful. It could be so much better. Now you send email saying you’re implementing AI into the app and that is such awful news. Please do not, just make it a better app. The email also tricks the reader into sending approval of the AI plan. When I see companies moving to AI this it is a sure sign of layoffs and reliance on untested, insecure, and ecologically irresponsible technology.

Know where you’re at.. Its so good to know where you stand with your blood sugar levels without having to wait for a doctor visit and or blood test. This allows you to adjust your diet quickly to get back on track.

Living a better life.. This product has enhanced my ability to track and influence my blood sugar levels. Learning knew ways every day to keep blood sugar levels lower than ever before. Great health care item every diabetic should be using.

Great App. I was a Freestyle Libre 2 user and switched to Dexcom g6 and I love it, specially this app that makes you better understanding your readings and gives you the tools to check your daily values and compared them with past days. Using this app and notes separately I got more management on my diabetes.

Clarity in the hands of a novice. Clarity is so rich with information it’s taken the place of all my diabetes logs. My Endo is always impressed and pours over every page with appreciation that I can customize reports and represent graphically. Additionally clarity helps me make contemporaneous adjustments to whatever is happening with how my body is affected by all those “factors”

Notes. What would give this app 5 stars is the ability for me to make notes. It would help to know what I ate at lunch this day that caused my blood sugar to be high or I did this exercise/workout, etc. Example: Keto Ham Wraps, On vacation (because it is harder to eat correctly), ran a half marathon, walked the block, etc. All these things affect blood sugar levels and going back and seeing what I ate or did that day helps to manage sugar levels in the future.

Great App. I’ve been using this app for a while and it’s been really helpful for managing my blood sugar levels. The reports are pretty good and very informative. A lot better than the reports you get from the meter itself.

Very disappointed. This app is really not good first of all my date for my readings say July 26th and 27th and it’s September 14th. Over a month old readings do not help me to know how I’m trending now!!!! This is important and it’s not like we don’t have the technology to create an app that actually gives you your readings for the past 2 7 14 or 30 days. Let’s get with the program clarity and Dexcom I want to know my actual where Im at NOW not over a month ago.

A nice upgrade would be…. I take the same dose via pill every day and also the same dose via injection in the evenings as a type two diabetic. It would be so fabulous to not have to make that entry every single day and just be able to have it automatically be included in my daily, tracking ,for lack of a better term. When will that become available?
