Dexcom G6 Simulator App Reviews

2 years. 2 years ago a review said something about kindergarten graphs and used the word uncouth. Well there has been absolutely no improvements as far as I can see. This seems like it should be an easy fix for a healthcare conglomerate. Heck i’ll pay the $150 to hire a coder to make something on par with current technology. Really disappointing Dexcom!

App Never Works When You Need It. IF the app would stay connected to my Bluetooth, then it might work. It will not stay connected after desperately trying to connect it. Frustrating to say the least.

Stupid. I know I am a new Dexcom user but they show how to use it on the iPhone version where it’s not a simulator. I wish it had an iPad supported version of the G6 not the simulator. Also I wish Dexcom had it where I can get blood sugar readings from my apple watch instead of carrying a phone or a receiver. Especially since I am an athlete and can’t carry a phone or receiver on a basketball court

Read it please.. Can you make it where it can fit the whole iPad Screen please.

uncouth. Graphical kindergarten, settings cannot be tested, it is not known whether the data base of the notations has been meaningfully extended. The app was obviously not designed according to Apple's GUI guidelines, it seems completely uncouth.

Dexcom compatibility. So I bought I new phone, unbeknownst to me it is not compatible with Dexcom technology . Dexcom cannot tell me when it will be. I tried to install apps on iPad and ran into Dexcom simulator and not what I had on my old phone. Very disappointing and frustrating. Dexcom, as much money you make on us, where is the service.

Too Narrow window.. Won't allow access to the keyboard to enter information. Can only see a portion of the screen even on full window.

New IPad - No interface between sensor, transmitter. Will reserve judgement until a change in sensor and transmitter and all display devices are in the receive status.

Trying to understand. I have a college education and I find it difficult to understand what you are trying to convey

The worst. It doesn’t work on my android or my Ipad

Ripped off. No where in the App Store is there anything that pairs my iPhone to my Dexcom receiver. I ended up PAYING for the only app that had Dexcom G6 in the name . That turned out to be some cheesy tutorial that explained something I didn’t have access to.

doesnt work. i cant get into dexcom at all, i try to tap on the log in page and nothing works. i cant make a new account, cant enter my name or password, cant go back, i just get stuck on that page, the only thing that works is scrolling. i tried restarting the app multiple times and still nothing. so dumb and it seems like such a simple fix. would love to be able to actually use this

Terrible system. There is no sense in which the Dexcom G6 is not inferior to the FreeStyle Libre. It requires multiple apps, the sensor/transmitter is larger and klunky, it is less accurate. There is no possible reason for it not to work on the iPad, and this simulator is thoroughly useless.

Dexcom App: wish there was a medication option. I am a newly diagnosed Type 1 diabetic and am taking Metformin in addition to Insulin. I’d like this app more if there was an option in Events for medication. As it is now, I’m using “health” to indicate when I take my meds.

App update. I have the same issue, when will you do upgrade on iOS Apple phone, why is does it take so long. Your tech department should be on top of this. I am now on 16.1.1 please advise

The software is not maintained. This app isn’t maintained properly, it keeps on having bugs and errors, I called to complain several times, but they don’t fix it. If you sell a medical device thats based off software then make sure it works! and maintain it, so it doesn’t stop working from one second to the other with no solution

Doesn’t really seem legal for a medical app. I’m a very brittle diabetic and I really count on my dexcom functioning. I tried to change my sensor and it waited 2 hours to tell me it couldn’t work. I did this two more times and restarted my phone and tried to download the app but can’t do that either. Getting frustrated. I don’t care how fancy you are I’m now considering other competitors
